Well for starters the bed was not made correctly Instead of a comforter there was a fitted sheet in its place It made for a horrible sleep

We also needed some towels so we decided to ask for room service after the third day They said we needed to stay 5 nights to get that service and it has to be scheduled 24 hours in advance On the fourth night my son decided to yell through the door we were out of toilet paper! Soooo I had to walk my happy rear end downstairs to get my own re fill of paper I just it was so weird that a hotel at this price you don’t get your room cleaned, have to get towels and re fill your own soap and toilet paper Not to mention it was a little dirty when we arrived but decided when they service the room we will let them know but that didn’t happen Luckily my wife brought Lysol wipes and cleaned the gross spots and floor herself If you like paying top dollar for a room and doing all your own housekeeping I would say this is definitely the place! Although the breakfast was delightfully good

Very nice hotel, the location is near a bunch of little shops you can walk to and it was near a small park that goes to a nice shopping center, Also only 15 mins from the beach! The hotel itself was clean and spacious had everything you needed to cook! The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the carpet in there was really dirty and brown and had dirt spots all over it definitely needed to be cleaned and was kind of Gross & The couch looked as if it needed to be cleaned as well!!I also would like to mention the breakfast is not great for this location, Not much of a selection you’ll definitely have to go somewhere for breakfast! I’ve been to Hilton suites where the breakfast was amazing a little disappointing in this one!

Audrey Luo

Pros: the hot tub, bigger roomCons: not so clean I found a long white piece of something in the coffee maker filter which looked like a worm (it’s too gross to take a picture)

There’s problem with the sink drainage too and it smelled bad The breakfast was over at 9am, way too early I was lucky to finish my business call at 8:50am so I had the chance to eat a few things The location was not convenient It’s far from the highway and main streets Would not stay there again

The Best Hotel for any handicapped or disabled person The automatic door for exiting and the auto opening for entering are standout features Shower access and grab bars were well thought out

Plenty of ramps for access to both buildings The pool access is the best, with a lift to the pool deck and lift chairs for the pool and spa The property is so well maintained, even the wood trim through out the property looked new We so enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant, the menu had nice options and the prices were not what we expected to pay (we thought the prices were very good), the $2 coffee to go in the morning a, winner We highly recommend this property for any one By the way, we were married in the “Living Room”, going on 32 years ago, and had our reception there! What a joy to see the property so welcoming and well maintained The staff were well trained in customer service, not just with us, I watched how they interacted with other guests Again I cannot stress enough how well the property was appointed for any disabled or handicapped personWe will returnRae Crogan

Carpet smelled, and the room was not as clean as it should have beenAs I was in the middle of showering, the smoke detector went off My 10-year-old kid woke up in a panic, and I freaked out

Shampoo in my hair, after shouting to my daughter not to panic, I yelled to her instructions to dial the front desk and ask what was happening She tried, but my instructions didn’t work So I rushed out of the shower without even rinsing, ran to the phone only to find that it wasn’t working I grabbed my cell phone and dialed the hotel’s number When the operator answered, I complained that the smoke detector had been triggered and had not stopped and that when attempting to call from the room’s phone, the phone would not work A weak apology about the phone not working preceded the question, “were you taking a shower when the smoke detector went off?”I said yes and that I was not done showering As if nothing happened, the operator said it was the steam’s fault and that she’d sent maintenance to adjust it Was I mad? No I was furious!!! Sending maintenance to adjust it AFTER the matter? After my daughter was abruptly woken by the most unnerving high-pitched alarm sound? After having failed to enable the guest to connect with the front desk? After forcing me out of the bathroom while I was still soaking wet and with product in my hair, are you joking? If your staff knows that steam setting off the smoke detector is an issue, the decent thing to do is to give guests a heads up so that they are able to make an informed decision o whether or not they want to stayAs far as I see it this hotel has deliberately reached out into my pockets to rob me of the fee they charged $200+ , for a one night stay and a forced early checkout due to the unpleasant awaking in the morning Needless to say, I would never be back, and I will discourage anyone from staying here

This hotel is in close proximity to the airport and they offer shuttle service to and from the airport If you call the hotel for pickup they are very prompt on sending a shuttle over The driver, Israel, was very professional and friendly

Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk agent was also extremely quick, friendly and professional The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a delicious meal from the onsite restaurant I can not say enough about this hotel-great location, great customer service, beautiful courtyard, delicious food and a clean and comfortable room 100 percent will stay here again

This hotel is connected to 14 West which is actually the nice hotel You can get stuck in an outdated, old room here when you expect to stay at the nicer boutique hotel next door Should not be called a Holiday Inn as all the signage labels it 14 West Hotel

Also all some of the pictures on both their pages are the same which is misleading

Lisa Gulino

Okay this place is great location right next to a Ralph’s so you can get some food if you want to bring it back to the room where it has a fridge and it’s right across from a beach access rooms a little small where if you have four people in the room and the doors and the fridge door hit the bed so everything’s tight but as long as you’re not spending like all your time in there it’s fine the pool is absolutely beautiful and a salt water pool they definitely take care of it and maintain it throughout the day beautiful landscaping the only two things I would have to say about this property is their key cards are not the best they’re constantly not working we had this problem and also I saw other people having this problem in addition to that you have to request room service it’s not something that they just do and even then if you don’t request it like the day before they might tell you know that they can’t do room service because it’s already scheduled for all the other rooms or something so they don’t have time to do your room which is super odd and inconvenient

MissMaris024

My only complaint is the price but laguna hotels are expensive regardless! I spent 177 a night Charming place I like the open concept with the pool in the center

The pool is warm and salt water Nice seating area around it Lobby was filled with coffee all the time Rooms were nice and clean Ours did not have a moldy smell as others complained We were on the first floor No elevator so we had to lug my 50 pound bag up and down the stairs Room is a good size and we had a king bed Carpet needs replacing and some of the wallpaper was chipping Though it felt very homey And its in an excellent location 5 min walk to laguna beach and main area There are trolley stops along the main road too I will def stay here again Wish they had a hot tub! They could easily add one in where the gazebo is Also the fitness room needs a make over

My car was towed!!! It cost me $56500 to get my car out of the impound lot That was not my big frustration

My first frustration originated out of NO ONE being able to tell me why I was not contacted I registered late in one of the 7 ADA rooms I did not leave the hotel (Seven quick phone calls, asking the night crew)My second frustration originated from not finding anyone to drive me to the impound lot Not one taxi responded My husband asked a friend of his to take me the next dayMy third frustration originated from having no car and no food Did I mention I was diabetic? I mentioned this to the hotel Assistant Manager I was not even offered a protein bar—-nothing Did I mention the restaurant and bar were closed? Not only was I frustrated, I now had a headacheWould I stay here again? NOSonesta wants their guests to feel good staying at one of their properties Do I feel good? NOSonesta wants their team members to “communicate honestly” Did anyone communicate with meNO!!!Sonesta wants to be “synonymous with unrivaled hospitality” Huh????? What did you say??? My wife and I spent two nights in one of the beach view rooms and it was very nice and comfortable The a/c unit probably knocked out any outside noises so no complaints there We met the owner who was running the office and he could not have been more accommodating

I needed a couple bandages for a scraped foot and he gave me several Super nice guy The location is a bit of a walk from downtown but the trolley stop is not far away or the walk is pretty nice too The beach is a down a short path to a public street then some stairs down to the ocean Beach chairs and a couple boogie boards are available free to guests, a nice surprise For the price this is really a nice option and if I were to come back to Laguna this would be the first place I would check for an available room Enjoyed our stayThanks

really great little place The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were nice white linens

Nice towels and awesome shower wish we could have stayed a little bit longer so we could have enjoyed the beach walk but had to be in overnight and go def recommend if you need a centrally located place in Laguna Beach had fridge and microwave

Antelmo Lara

Stayed for a quick 1 day trip with the family and I have to say unbeatable price you get absolutely everything with this place, the peace the view and the spacious room that is renovated Anyone looking to stay anywhere else look no further this place is definitely a little gem PS don’t go based on how the place looks from the outside I almost looked away while booking because of it and now I know it would’ve been a great mistake

Summary: For the price, I would not stay here again unless there wasn’t anything available around I would have rather gone to Holiday InnCons:- Cost of parking was about $36 for inside the garage

Staff did not offer other suggestions (apparently across the street was cheaper)- Breakfast was too expensive at $26 per person for a buffet I’d rather go to a restaurant and be waited on- No microwaves in rooms- Ice machine not working- No valet because “Covid”- Floor was outdated The place needs a remodel- The patio door was heavy to open Trees blocked a potential view- No laundry room- No garbage bags in trash bins This must result in extra work for the housekeeping- Water from sink does not taste good- Swimming pool was closed during the time frame it was supposed to be open- Even credit card machine was not working at check in- Internet was not greatPros:- Friendly staff- Location Gas station across the street and freeway and shopping very close by- Starbucks in lobby- Parking is secure

A huge thank you to Carolina and Katherine for their absolutely above and beyond customer service I called from Australia to arrange a surprise birthday gift for my sister who was staying as a guest Both ladies were not only professional but kind, generous and went out of their way to make my sister’s birthday special

If I could give them 100 stars I would! Thank you so much for your hospitality

Brian Crane

The room was fantastic! The location was great! And the amenities were great as well! However, I had a not great experience with the check in staff I had booked 2 rooms on Hotel Tonight, and I thought they were both “double queen” rooms When I went to check in they only had one “double queen” available

They said the other rooms were being cleaned and that I could come back in 1-15 hrs to get it The front desk gentleman even wrote down a note I called a few hours later and they went on to tell me there were no double queens available and I feel like they didn’t work with me nor try to go any extra out of their way to see if there was some sort of compromiseOther than that, great hotel

Overall, my experience here at the Hampton Inn Suites was a good one Clean room, great breakfast, and nice view from the room The housekeepers did a great job with the room being as clean as it can be

I will still give this hotel a 5 stars since the hotel, itself, was a very nice one at that However, my only issue was the front desk receptionist I wish I had got his name so that the manager can talk to him about being more precise when it comes to booking online All I know is that he is a Latino man and he was a little rude and disorganized Anytime I check in with the Hilton hotels, I always come at 3:00pm sharp When I checked in, I got this sweet young woman who checked me in and was very precise about the pricing (even the ridiculous 24$ parking per night) and she was fairly new at her job And, the Latino man was next to her trying to inform her that she kept doing certain things wrong So, mind you, when it was time to check out, I checked out like I usually do and they usually let me know that everything is set and fine then I go on my day That same Latino man was informing me that the booking online didn’t necessarily take my card; even though, my email said I had a reservation for that day and they already charged my credit card I usually check it just in case for reasons like this He then goes and tells me that next time I should double check that and inform the front desk receptionist to other hotels to make sure that my credit card went in thoroughly in the system Like what? I never had a problem with my credit card in the past and I know it still works I never have to do that I have been to many Hilton hotels and it goes so smoothly He was trying to prove a point that didn’t make sense or was not clear Please talk to the Latino man (and I am a Latino man myself) and if I knew his name then I would of said his name, but I forgot to ask him what his name was My hotel room was perfect, but he is just awful and I needed to mention this Let’s hope my credit card was not charged twice or I will have a problem with him myself

Cathy Nicdao

Clean, organized, friendly environment and more importantly everything works I had to booked my room last minute since my first one wasn’t great I checked in, everything was explained thoroughly

The next day, I see some people cleaning the rooms, the hallways and even the people that worked at the breakfast buffet checks on the food and immediately refill it without anybody asking The turn the table around right away too Checked out was so fast and easy as well They made you feel welcome and they were all helpful My overall experience was amazing Hopefully, it’s the same treatment to all their facilities cuz I am looking forward to checking in again

Melissa Mastrangelo

Overall had a really nice stay here The room was clean, breakfast was tasty, and it was quiet on the top floor All the hotels in the area seem to charge a parking fee, so don’t forget to mention if you have a car parked

It’s $24/night which I thought was pretty steep, but it looks to be average for the area I’d recommend staying here if in the area!

I honestly wanted to like this place I tested it out for 7 nights to see if I could tolerate living here for 2 months for work

I couldn’tCons:*Little tiny bugs everywhere in my bathroom, even when I called the front desk to have housekeeping clean it, the bugs kept coming back They were crawling around in the bathtub and on the bottom of the toilet floor The sad thing is, front desk didn’t believe me Said, “We’ve never heard about any bug issues from any rooms before so this is new”*Old place The whole place needs remodeling but I hear they are in the works of it in fall at some pointPros:*Comfortable beds- on the soft side of you like that*Soft sheet linens*Free washer and dryer use*Free parking*Large TV*Decent size kitchen*Kitchen Supplies includedOverall, it would have been better if the place looked newer and there was an absence of little black bugs in my bathroom

Tim Musa

For a 2⭐️ hotel, this was actually very nice Fairly quiet clientele The laundry facilities were free and clean (but bring your detergent since I didn’t see any in the mostly empty “pantry”

) the room itself was clean and functional The kitchenette did everything we needed, with just enough dishes to get the job done for the three of us All in all a nice find when we were in a jam with our previous hotel plan

Vincent Jacobo

The people working the office were great But the room smelled of disinfectant Loose tiles in bathroom, broken door latch on entry door, broken lock on bathroom door, chair needed to be reupholstered

First time at this hotel Wanted to be close to Lake Forest as my son lives nearby Next time I’ll stay by the airport and drive Really not a bad location or hotel just needs some pride of ownership

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay for a trip that was both business and pleasure I was welcomed to my room with complimentary snacks and beverages along with a handwritten note stating I had been chosen as the guest of the day What a delightful surprise! The staff was professional, friendly and attentive

The room was very clean and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable I appreciate all the room amenities, especially having both a mini refrigerator and a microwave, as well as a coffee maker The complimentary hot breakfast is a must for any stay! There were plenty of food options and changed day to day for variety I encountered great staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the dining area

Diana Breslin

We are sorry to have to write a review that is not positive, but we did not have a good experience It started with the front desk Checking in and out, we did not have anyone greet us, they continued to sit down and besides being unfriendly, their attitude was not one to try to accommodate us

Our key did not work when we tried to get into our room The phone in our room had another room number on it so it was confusing to try to get help to our specific room since the phone was pulled from another room evidently There was no “do not disturb” placard We had to once again go to the front desk to get our DND placard before we could leave the roomOur room itself had a leaky shower head, a torn shower curtain, low water pressure, slow sink drain, and our broken chair was replaced by another broken chairThe door to the bathroom opened into the room At night, if the door was left open to get to the restroom we would have run into the door We had to keep a light on and crack the door to use the bathroom at night The pillow were lumpy and the clock in the room still had the time from the Fall and Winter It had not been changed to daylight savings time even though it was in May that we visited the hotelLastly, the parking lot was empty but the front desk clerk said we could not have a late check out Regardless of how nice we asked She finally gave us one additional hourWe’re never going to stay at this Hampton Inn again They need a lot of work on courtesy, both from front desk personnel and staff Not once did anyone greet us with a smile or offer any kind words Their rooms need quite a bit of help as well

tabitha morales

Pro: Rooms and facility were clean upon arrival Good safe location Staff were nice

Breakfast was good Beds were comfortableCon: I asked for the bathroom shower drain to be fixed three times We could not take a shower without it filling up with gross water You can see hair clogging it in the drainThis is unsanitary and quite frankly- disgusting especially when paying $200 a nightNo housekeeping the whole week we were there I had to call for fresh towels and empty the garbage myself even after telling the staff I was leaving for the day and asking for it to be done It wasn’t so I got garbage bags and did it myself

The staff is what makes this hotel Rooms were very clean and comfortable The restaurant did an awesome job

Gary and Angela were fabulous bartenders We stayed 5 nights and almost checked out one day one because of the worst pool design ever(it’s not really an outdoor pool if you like sun over your head, it’s more like the window to outside is open) We stayed because of how welcomed we felt

MC MC

The location itself of the HILTON GARDEN INN IRVINE/JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT CA is super convenient Only miles away from UCI which was amazing! They do notify you that some amenities will not be offered such as the gym, pool, cleaning services and so fourth due to covid BUT, what they didn’t tell me or ANY other guest who checked in on July 12, 2022 that we wont have ANY WATER at all on property

I simple phone call would have sufficed, but NO, the sign is right in front of the check in counter I would’ve booked at another 4 start property across the street to at least shower after being on a 5 hour flight to CA My guess is that they didn’t want people to cancel and book somewhere else Not to mention the amount of construction happening on property is truly ridiculous I contacted Hilton Guest Assistance they provided me a case number and mentioned they had forwarded my concerns to the Management team at the hotel to allow follow up within 3 days Well, 6 days later, nothing! Not my job to followup with customers to right a wrong, so I take my concern to a public forum to share Beware travelers, the lack of transparency is astonishing

Armando Acevedo

My experience was ruined due to poor performance at check out process I stayed from 06/30 – 07/01 and the room (228) was comfortable They did not clean my bed, but they change all my towels

My experiences was ruined because they charged me for something I DID NOT GET! I realized when I went through my check-out receipt at the airport I called them and spent time that affected my emotionally They told me they fixed it, but the same total amount (and the charge) shows in my receipt I will have to explain to my work this charge since this is a business trip Hotels need to be more careful with these type of charges because make customers unhappy and frustrated

Another great stay at the Hampton Inn and suites for me I really enjoy staying in these kind of placesThe rooms are bigger than your typical hotel room and I enjoy that

My room has a king size bed, a nice desk, and a couch that you can relax on The bathroom is super spacious and this one I don’t know if this hotel is brand-new or it was just recently remodeld but it is very nice I like the decor in the room and everything that they got going on hereWhat you also get with this places you get breakfast in the morning I stopped in yesterday and had waffles and granola You can also get some hard-boiled eggs there too They also have a nice variety of fruitThe grounds are really well kept also I wish I would’ve had a chance to make it to the pool or the Jacuzzi but I didn’t get there So maybe you’ll have to check it out for me on your next day

Very spacious room, room and bed clean and comfy Tv was good Breakfast was poor

We have waited 5mins for cream to have a white coffee Lady , taking care of the breakfast area appeared very rare, so we had to investigate in the breakfast area for spoon, eggs etc Hotel was very quite and relaxing till students arrived 🙂 The man at the reception was really helpful

This was a lovely hotel with amazing amenities The fitness center is free to use if you’re staying at the hotel, and it’s not your standard hotel gym The fitness center is essentially its own full blown gym, with a great pool to boot

Rooms are clean with a lot of space The only thing that was off was the cleaning staff kept asking when we were leaving so they can clean the room despite us having late checkout

Stayed 3 nights here while in town for some meetings Everyone in the area knows about this hotel because of the gym which is attached to the hotel The hotel is in a good area with a parking garage next door which is $27 a day

Rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds However there a few things that could use improvement First, the bathroom was very dimly lit Would help if there was a light in the actual shower Also there was no safe in the room There may be one in the room but I didn’t see oneIf you’re a gym person, the gym is legit Has most types of equipment along with nice locker room with steam, sauna, and jacuzzi They also have a nice lap pool outsideThe bar and restaurant are good and there is happy hour starting around 4 which is fun to take advantage of The food at the restaurant was actually quite good If I’m in the area I’ll be back here

I have no patience with being charged full price and then getting the “no service” speech upon check in! They claim staffing issues…Additionally, I noticed that the two complimentary waters that come with every Marriott property on planet earth were not in my room I called the front desk and they said I had to come down to get them Irritating, but fine

But then it was like trying to convince a toddler to share their Tonka truck when I asked for more water since there was no daily service to replenish them He told me I could come back to the lobby and refill them at the water stationLook… I hate giving bad reviews Most of mine are positive However, my recent streak with Marriott brands is making me question my loyalty!Anyway… this is a great gym with a waterless hotel with no service attached… the tacos were pretty good too…

We loved staying here and had no issues! Room was clean and had plenty of space, beds were comfy, staff was helpful, and the breakfast was delicious As a traveler on a budget, I have stayed in a lot of Super 8s and Motel 6s, and this was a huge step up from that for a very good price The pool and jacuzzi were great, we had them to ourselves on a Sunday night and it was lovely

The breakfast was hot and delicious, and the staff stayed really on top of making sure all the breakfast items were refilled/stocked The couch in our room pulled out to be a bed, and it was not nearly as comfy as the beds, but worked great for our group of 3 adults who each wanted our own bed space Parking was easy We would definitely stay here again

I’d say everything here is pretty good There’s a pool and spa as well as a pretty good breakfast overall They deserve a solid 5 stars for service

One of our rooms had some condensation dripping from the A/C which is above the room They immediately checked on it and—when they determined they wouldn’t be able to fix it immediately—switched us to the closest room they could find without hesitation Great staff overall!

It’s decent A bit stale smelling Breakfast was good

Won’t touch the pool or jacuzzi here but jacuzzi doesn’t look bad Room was clean Carpet was not the best; wore sandals because I didn’t trust it Shower was clean and room had a balcony Why can’t we smoke in hotels like this? It’s 2022 and they need to stop acting like the place already smells like roses(it doesn’t) Weight room open 24 hours which was Awesome and clean But the door doesn’t lock; I’d hate for my girl to go there alone… Out of the 3 25-3-star hotels in this area, this was the cheapest and feels like it

Room sucked Event was greatThe bed was honestly no better than a blanket on the floor and the pillows were flatter than a towel

The refrigerator was not cold enough to keep our already cold drinks cold Lights on the mirror flickered Water pressure in the shower was very lowIn the cafe in the lobby, the freezer wasn’t cold enough to keep the ice cream frozen so they were all meltedHowever, the view was nice and the room was clean and visually very pleasantNot worth a $200+ a night stay Especially when we have to also pay for parkingWith that being said, we hosted a celebration of life for my little sister and the event space was absolutely perfect Noel and the event team helped us immensely and their sense of urgency was more than appreciated They had a great audio/visual set up and were more than helpful in setting it up for us The food (a few grazing boards that we picked) was well prepared and beautifully displayed We choose to have a cash bar there and the drinks were very nice, the wine was great, and the bartender was very kind They even made a point to ask what color my sister liked for the table covers

Sadly Im giving this review due to the poor customer service in addressing our concerns during our stay We specifically booked this hotel to use the pool and the day we arrived the pool area was being painted, so what should have been a nice peaceful pool day was ruined by construction I understand these updates are necessary for upkeep and the hotel was very nice, but the hotel did not disclose the construction on their booking page and when I brought my concerns up to the front desk I was told I should have called and checked ahead of time

This was rude and makes no sense as usually you book online to avoid having to call hotels directly Sadly the lack of addressing my concerns has lead to this poor review as the hotel was nice and clean, but when you are specifically staying somewhere to use the amenities and you can’t use them you are not getting what you paid for

Very deceptive and poor customer service After making reservation, I tried to modify reservation (online and via phone) and they were too busy When I checked in, I explained my change (one day out of four)

They told me I was all set When I checked out, they still wanted charge me for the extra day Not only did they want to charge me for the day, but they also wanted to check me out to re rent the room Calling Hilton corporate was no help1 – Could not change reservation the same day I made it2 – They lied when I checked in, and told me reservation was modified3 – Corporate would not accommodate, even for a creditBottomline – they don’t care about their customers, go elsewhere

Staff is AMAZING! The exterior doors are very heavy and hard to open and go out of order all the time The rooms are OK but there is always a lot of unceasing noise from whomever is above you no matter what room you are in Usually the rooms are clean depending on who is cleaning

Things do get missed People don’t clean up after their dogs here or around the property There should be a fee for dog clean up Breakfast is just OK They serve sausage almost everyday which is kinda gross and becoming very mundane and not appetizing The french toast is normally dry and hard and cannot be chewed The bacon is A LOT better but they only serve Once a week Dinner is OK I only recommend the orange chicken, pizza, possibly hamburgers and hot dogs Although, they need to upgrade quality of meat Maybe have a nachos night and more pizza nights? The spaghetti is gross They have laundry which is nice but one or more of the machines go out all the time They advertise extended stay but you Must check out after 26 days

Overall, my experience with the Staybridge Suites in Irvine was very good The staff were very friendly and helpful, the common areas and room were clean, the breakfast was excellent all 3 days of my stay, and the location was very convenient for my needs The one opportunity from my experience is to have enforced stop / start times for the sport court area

During my stay, a group was out playing basketball right outside my window until after midnight and another group started up around 6am the next day Outside of this, excellent experience and I would recommend to others

I give this 5 stars To be honest, it’s a solid 3 star hotel We knew that going in

So for a 3 star hotel, it gets 5 starsNot perfect We got a 2 bedroom suite and the bedroom door that my granddaughter was using didn’t shut correctly We figured a workaround There were only 2 forks in the kitchen The showers each had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel on a small shelf attached to the inside of the shower In one of the bathrooms it was broken We stayed 2 weeks Housekeeping was only on Thursday for us We checked in on a Tuesday but wouldn’t get Housekeeping until the 2nd Thursday So people put their garbage and towels/sheets outside their doors And there everything sat in the hallways for a week We needed a change of sheets because of a spill The sheets were handed to us but they didn’t take the dirty sheets They sat in the hallway for a week Gross to say the least And, lastly, the laundry room is terrible It’s free to use but nasty We took our laundry to a laundromat instead It was much cleanerWhy 5 stars then? The room was perfect for our needs The kitchen had everything we needed (except enough forks) We baked cookies (toaster oven provided), made waffles (with a waffle iron I bought at Walmart and left with family), and had our munchies Breakfast AND dinner is included We didn’t eat everyday at the hotel Only 3 times for dinner in 2 weeks But it was surprisingly good (both breakfast and dinner) Not gourmet but good and filling The beds were amazingly comfortable And having a separate bedroom for our granddaughter was a must We weren’t in a single room for 2 weeks The staff is so nice I guess the bottom line is that is was comfortable We liked the location We are a tidy family so no housekeeping wasn’t a problem in the room If we needed anything it was just a quick call and it arrived at our roomWe will definitely stay here again when we visit our California family

The staff was exceptional Todd was so friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable He recommended an excellent restaurant and suggested a beautiful place to walk where our children could enjoy the wildlife

The room was clean, breakfast was good, and this hotel is in a great location, sharing a driveway with Starbucks! I was also able to use the on-site washer/dryer (for a small fee) to take care of some laundry I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a simple and relaxing stay!

Best service ever!!! This was genuinely the best service that my family and I have ever received, not just for a hotel but any place that we’ve visited All of this is thanks to Todd! As soon as we walked in Todd made sure that we had everything we needed and really helped us get settled in He has to be one of the nicest and most amazing people I’ve ever met, I’m super grateful for all that he’s done for us in our stay

Thanks Todd! The hotel itself is super nice too, with spacious bedrooms and nice, clean bathrooms Complimentary breakfast was amazing as well! All in all, I definitely look forward to coming back to this hotel whenever I visit the area again

Room was very clean, and the hotel grounds were very nice and cleanBeds were comfortable and the sheets and pillows were great and you could tell that they were fresh and cleanThe staff was very friendly and helpful in all aspects especially Todd at the front desk

Todd went above and beyond for myself, and the 15 guest (Hockey Team) that stayed at the hotelThe staff at the hotel immediately rectified one issue I had with my room and made it right for my stayOver all this is a Holiday Inn Express You are not going to experience the amenities of a luxury resort hotel, nor are you going to pay the price of a luxury hotelThe breakfast that was included with our stay was very acceptable Hot and fresh and I can’t stress how clean the hotel is Clean hotels are the most important part of my stay and this hotel nailed itOnce again a shout out to Todd and the staff for making our stay enjoyable after traveling from Alaska
