We felt welcome The receptionist was very friendly There is a nice sitting area in front of the reception where we could sit with our guest

Coffee and tea available the whole day around We didn’t use the pool but it looked invitingThe room, as well as the bathroom, was nice, spacious and superclean Coffeemaker with coffee and chocolate drink available in the roomThe breakfast was good

Great and convenient location, very quiet area and felt safe Close to downtown Denver The two gentlemen at the front desk were attentive and friendly

Rooms seemed cleaned, beds and pillows were comfortable Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast; breakfast area was kept fully stocked and clean Pool is outdoors and appeared well maintained The only issue is that we had our “do not disturb” on the door and a male attempted to enter our room while my daughter was taking a shower He didn’t even knock prior, just used his master key and opened the door, didn’t announce himself prior to entering…no kind of warning whatsoever Luckily, I was standing in the bathroom so I was able to stop him immediately He just said sorry and left I was just confused as to why he was entering because 1) our “do not disturb” was on the door handle, 2) when we checked in the evening prior, the gentleman at the front desk stated the room would not be serviced unless we specifically requested 3) there’s even a sign on the bathroom mirror stating the rooms would not be serviced unless specifically requested or if you were staying more than X amount of days/nights, which we were not

We were in town for a race and had a delightful stay Our race started before the complimentary breakfast, so we were given free granola bars the night we arrived, and before flying out we were even able to fit in a hike after check out with multiple free water bottles while the staff watched our luggage In addition, we felt very welcomed and the staff was incredibly kind and generous

One of our best hotel experiences!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in my adult life The hotel staff were friendly and attentive The location was convenient for getting to Denver or going to Estes Park

The room was clean, large, and the bathroom was perfectThe finishes wouldn’t pass for a luxury hotel, but it’s incredibly practical You have blackout blinds (they will get the room pitch black in the middle of the day) and then basically every furniture fixture has accent lighting so it’s easy to make the room just bright enough Oh and they have breakfast, it’s simple, but tastes good, and it’s freeAll in all, I’d stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable hotel that doesn’t skimp out on comfortable amenities

June 14-15, 2022 This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at on our two week vacation We stayed in eight different hotels in total

Very, very nice hotel! Impeccably clean Beautiful lobby with fire pit and restaurant Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were very fragrant and were wall mounted so no need to ask for extra of the tiny little bottles

Two large pools, one indoor and one outdoor with pretty landscaping The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating and kudos to the cleaning staff as well!

Rania Dempsey

The room was fine (but be aware-a double room Is two double beds, not two queens); the pool and fitness room were nice and the hotel iswell located, but the service was not good Staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful at check in and gave us incorrect info about the wedding with which we’d booked a group rate

Due to a reservation issue, we had a different reservation for each night of our two night stay but we were assured we would be in the same room and wouldn’t need to check in/out twice However, after one night we were automatically checked out of our room and our room keys stopped working (with all our belongings still locked in our room) We called the front desk for help and the line rang about 20 times then disconnected with no answer and no assistance Not a huge deal but just an annoyance and staff not super interested in helping

Julie Girard

Denver Marriott West is the hotel we always stay at when we come to Denver We bring our two Golden Retrievers We are always treated as family there and our dogs love it

I was very surprised and pleased once I got into my room Everything was clean proper nice The bathroom shower was my favorite

My husband and I have three kids together and it was a beautiful two nights get away stress free beautiful service and great breakfast I’ll be coming back on my next business trip I also got to add it was close to my business functions I was attending at the time easy to get in and out no one bothering us and we had a great time

easy rider

We drove 8 hours, arriving Friday night at 10 pm with our 8 year old daughter Exhausted and upset they could not provide the accommodations we reserved, Tony would Or honor our reservation, or check us in

He said we were not “respecting him”, CANCELLED our reservation then CALLED THE POLICE on myself, my wife and our 8 year old daughter because we had the gall to insist he honor our reservation and allow us to go to bed Blatant abuse of power for the sake of using it (seriously dude, talk to a therapist, don’t take it out on road weary customers)If you are someone of authority reading this, check the security cameras around 10:30 on 7/1/2022, he ends up “flipping off” an 8 year old Very professional Tony Worst experience ever

So this review is a few months late However, Let me start from the beginning My husband and I were searching for a hotel close to our wedding venue and we stumbled upon this one

It was maybe 5 minutes away from the venue and we thought it was perfect In July we took a tour of the hotel with the old hotel manager Renaldo He was great and everything seemed to run smoothly We have a large family and they seemed like a good fit since we ended up reserving over 60 rooms We ended up signing a contract in August 2021 for our wedding block in April 2022 In January I received an email from the new hotel manager by the name of Isaac, he stated that they have no records of my contract at all and that I would need to sign a new contract This was surprising, but I had the old contract saved already I sent it and asked this manager several questions about the rooms, event, and any special accommodations for older guests I never received a response February came around and I sent another email and called the property and no response This happened for weeks My father ended up having to go down to the property and talked to Destiny Mind you I live 15 hours away from the venue and I wasn’t able to drive down Destiny stated both the property managers are no longer with the company and I should handle my business with her So I did Destiny was rude and short with me during all of our interactions Upon checking in, the front desk women were absolutely horrible and rude They were rude to my guests, mother in law, my parents, and friends The male staff were great, but the women were awful I would not recommend this hotel for big events what so ever This place is unorganized, rude, and deserves a lower rating for sure Brain had emailed me after I finished the survey and responded with “I didn’t see anything” so it basically didn’t happen right? After I responded and gave him different incidences he never responded Take your business elsewhere

Gie Hartzog-Bunn

Wonderful helpful people The manager Brian was especially wonderful to me after another hotel overbooked and basically told me they didnt care if i had to sleep in my truck The rooms are extremely clean and roomy and the beds are comfy and it is so quiet

They let me check-in early because I work 12 hour nights at the hospital I love this place! Highly recommend

Amber Anderson

Right when we got to the property we were told that the room we reserved wasn’t available I had reserved a room for four people and two queen beds well in advance But upon arriving I was told that the only room available for us was a king bed with a pull out bed

The pull out mattress is awful! It is very thin and well used My husband ended up just sleeping on the couch And even before that, we noticed an awful smell while entering the room The smell lingered our entire stay The room was clean enough, but just wasn’t fit for four people I don’t know how they can sell it that way (And two of the four of us are children)Then, we wanted to use the pool the next day before we had to leave and the pool doesn’t even open until 10 AM This doesn’t make much sense with a noon check out timeThen, to top things off, we witnessed an ADA violation A lady in a wheelchair had to scoot down the stairs on her bottom because the elevator was out and her room was on the floor above the first floor When she complained to the staff working the front counter, she was not treated with kindness and was basically just told that she could go to a different sister hotel We didn’t even bother complaining about our stay at that point after the person In front of us was treated so badly

Stayed in really nice room with included full kitchen Loved the room and layout although bathroom single frame double door was a little strange The bed was comfy and appreciated the black out curtains

The room felt unique It was clean and stylishThe breakfast was okay, but thought there would be something other than paper plates and plastic cutlery for the price of the rooms A little bit more attention to detail on the breakfast with hot water and less packaging would be nice

Natasha Wright

Summary: Not great for a family of 4 Staff was super nice and helpful, but room faced car dealership and it was BRIGHT in the studio king room at night making it difficult for the family to sleepPros:- full kitchen, great for traveling with kids- nice staff- free (basic but good) breakfast- seemed pretty soundproof, didn’t hear neighbors- cleanCons:- super bright at night because of the lights outside, room really needs a light blocking curtain on the small window on couch side- bathroom doors, why the 2 mini door design with a crack so big in the center I can stare at someone on the bed while I pee?- got 2 random calls, one around 4am and one at 5am that woke everyone up (perhaps alarm from prior guest?)- no inside accessible stairs, really would have preferred to take the stairs vs waiting on slow elevator at the lobby

I stayed here for a month in early 2022 and regret it My main complaint is with housekeeping, who managed to block the toilet twice during my stay after trying to flush their disposable cleaning wipes When I reported this to reception the second time, I found the girl on reception to be disinterested and unhelpful

This was about 6pm, and she just made a note to send maintenance the next day, no urgency Of course, nobody came the next day and the toilet was still unusable when I got back from work, so I went to reception again and received exactly the same unhelpful response from the same person This was extremely frustrating, so I fixed the problem myself in the end Reception also requested that I specify the days that housekeeping clean the room (the default was every three days), but they did not attend on the days I requested and continued to come every three days The breakfast was also probably the lowest quality I’ve ever had at a hotel The room had clearly seen better days, and during my stay there were several problems due to minor water leaks in the kitchen and bathroom They fixed the leak in the kitchen, but the leak in the bathroom was still there when I left On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the location close to the Flatirons mall was convenient, but I would not stay here again

Staff was friendly and very accommodating with my mom and I The manager was very kind and always made an effort to make sure we were cared for and enjoying our stay Breakfast was nice for it being free, the waffles were very nice and loved that breakfast several hours

We used the pool and the temperature was perfect and we had it to ourselves the entire time which was awesome! The only issue I had was that I didn’t think the room was throughly clean, areas were dusty, high touch surfaces didn’t seem like they were cleaned enough and there was a leftover candy wrapper stuck in the headboard of the bed Will definitely be staying here again based off of the friendliness of the staff alone

Rocky Martinez

Poor management, and if you ask for water because there was none in the refrigerator to buy, you might be ok, as long as you’re not interrupting them scrolling through their phone or maybe you’ll get a lecture on the water fountain around the cornerIf you stay here be aware that the exterior lower back door doesn’t close

I Tried to pull it shut but it is bent at the top hinge Even when management is clearly aware (they post signs letting you know not to prop open the door for security reasons) of the broken door How would you know they are aware of the door out back not shutting?? Because this is the door that they exit to take their smoke breaks, including the manager Shown here angrily yelling at me as I’m taking this pictureI’ve stayed here over 50 nights in the last year and half and there has never been a worse person managing this building

Hyatt Place exceeded our expectations, the front desk was so friendly always saying hi and welcome even if you walked by like 3x Rooms were cleaned and lots of towels were stocked Housekeeping was in an out when we went to breakfast in 30 min, beds made, trash and towels were replenished

Super efficient and assertive The bar staff was so nice and dinner was fabulous, breakfast was fully stocked all the way to 9am when they closed, which a lot of hotels that’s unheard of or if you get there at 8:50 there’s nothing but like a thing of cereal Because the staff was so attentive and made sure it was full for every guest until 9am They were so amazing as well! And it was awesome breakfast, changes everyday so have variety rather than just bagelsDefinitely would highly recommended this Hyatt Place When we come back to Colorado definitely will be staying here every time!:)

Stayed here for three nights The two queens with a pull-out were more than enough space for my family of five, which includes 3 kids under 12 Room and bathroom were pretty clean, so not much to complain about there

We enjoyed the breakfast, which was a little different on alternating daysAll the employees we were in contact with were friendly and helpfulLocation was good – in between Boulder and Denver, less than 2 hours from RMNP, 30 min from Red Rocks, and 90 min from Garden of the GodsWe would stay here again if we are ever in the area

Thomas Eaves

The room I stayed in was one of only a few available while I stayed in Westminster (the 2022 summer season has been particularly busy, according to the staff) The room was clean and the view was great; however, the AC system really struggled to cool the room to 70°F (even when set to high) The bathroom, the shower in particular, was a little worse for wear

These things – of course – were in no way “trip” ruining, but speaks to what I believe is on going effort by the current team to keep the hotel updatedThe staff were absolutely phenomenal and the reason this was such a first-rate hotel, despite the minor issues with the room In the last few years, I have not experienced a kinder staff I interacted with the front desk a few times (to check-in; to extend my stay; to ask a question; etc) Each time they were courteous, genuinely friendly, efficient, and helpfulI will without a doubt be returning to this hotel in the future and it has become my favorite hotel to stay in when needing to commute to the Boulder area

We had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Thornton this past weekend Despite no elevator service, our stay was excellent The staff are top notch, especially Awani and Christopher at the Front Desk

Great room Nice pool And the ‘wings’ we ordered from the apps menu were some of the best we have ever tasted No kidding!! Highly recommend!

Stephen Kellis

The overall hotel was decent enough and the room was clean There was a softball team staying here that was incredibly loud in lobby when I checked in at midnight so there was some concern that might affect our nights sleep but fortunately enough didn’t hear a peep even though we were staying on the same floor as the team, i mainly just felt bad for the guy that had to work all night trying to keep them contained Unfortunately all of the positives are immediately negated by the “curtains” in the room

They are barely even that as they are see through so as soon as the sun came out we were awake I cannot recommend a hotel that is designed to prevent a good night’s sleep

Adeline Griffin

We had a wedding party that stayed at the hotel the heat in one of the rooms would not turn off, it was looked at three separate times to try to fix it It remained at 74° when it was 90 outside

The restaurant/bar was not open or available The outside patio was not available to be used But the staff tried very hard to be helpful but this hotel definitely needs a lot of work done to it

My husband and I highly recommend this location We were long-term guests and all the wonderful staff including the Maintenance guy were always very friendly To be honest with anyone reading this; if you are looking for a short or long-term stay, look no further

We stayed as long-term guest for over 5 months and we always felt safe at this location The rooms were always clean and the grounds were always well-maintained All the staff at this location were just overly super amazing If you needed anything for your room, all the staff were happy to assistThank you to all Uptown Suites Staff at Westminster Thank you all for providing us with a positive stay experience with customer service excellence

Ron Francis

Facility was relatively clean, staff is friendly, and location is good However, the kitchenette contains no pans, utensils, or towels Despite the facility being in decent shape this decision by management will ensure we are never back as the reason we would opt for a room with kitchenette is the ability to cook meals

That cannot be done without the pots, pans, utensils, etc that every other long term facility provides

Kyle Eirich

I stayed at the Extended Stay down the street after I was transferred for work and had a TERRIBLE experience I decided to try Uptown I bought a month, but was very skeptical after my week at the Extended Stay

From the moment of check-in, I knew I picked the right place I checked in late, but Sandy was more than accommodating Unlike most places, she told me her name and asked for mine I felt so welcome The room looks just like the pictures, actually bigger than they look I love it! Any company looking for long term stays for their employees should put Uptown Suites at the top of the list!

The girl working the front desk, who’s name was madison was the reason I am giving this hotel 5 stars Don’t get me wrong, it is a perfectly fine property, but doesn’t differ much from most of the courtyard properties However, Madison was so sweet, accommodating, and kind that she made my day!!!! She definitely deserves a raise or a promotion or something

I stay at Marriott properties over 100 nights a year and Madison was the hands down best customer care agent I have dealt with in the three years that I have been staying over 100 nights a year!!!! She’s truly that good and I will be returning to stay at this property as often as possible simply because she works the front desk Thanks again Madison You rock!

Jenny Y

Wonderful experience! Staffs were super nice and accommodating, room was comfortable and the location is quite convenient with a few fast food restaurants around to grab a quick bite Special shout out to Madison and Krasten (I’m not sure how to spell his name sry)! Both were extremely helpful and welcoming, would greet you every time you come in or go out I’m very content with my stay, would definitely choose here again!

Nice place, but for the rates should be an awesome place Standard room nothing wrong, just nothing special The beds are WAY TOO SOFT for my liking

I know it’s preference, but it’s like a giant pillow – no back support left me stiff is putting it nicelyStaff was all very friendly, willing to help No complaints thereLocation is out of the city so it’s 20 min to get anywhere and not super close to the airport

Nice hotel Staff was friendly and professional Hotel is located in a nice quiet area

Room was clean, which is a plus for me Bed was comfortable I noticed a few cosmetic things, like the tub had a scratch and maybe the bathroom could use some new paint Nothing major It just seems like it’s an older hotel but very clean! Nice property overall We had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again Also, there’s a Starbucks in the lobby 😁

Very nice hotel, modern, clean, great staff Only two restaurants in close walking distance, but both were great and several others are close by Nice walking trails just off property

Great convention center (managed a large group of dancers and their families for Jump) Nice rooms with big windows and very comfortable beds Highly recommended!

I had the most wonderful experience here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Everyone was fantastic and incredibly helpful! This was my first time at the Lakewood, CO location and wow 🤩 we were greeted by such a beautiful view, and not to mention all the amazing restaurants near by, we almost couldn’t choose Our room was kept beautifully with exceptional service all around

Room service to front desk were so pleasant and kind but my favorite of all, was the breakfast duo Nick and Vick they were an amazing team and really topped off my wonderful stay I cannot stay anything but great things about this location I highly recommend to check it out while in this area!

We reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield for our wedding and could not have been happier with the service that we received The person in charge of the group bookings, Orlando, was incredibly helpful and patient with us throughout the whole process, including when we needed to add guests to our block at the last minute! The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The only downside we noticed is that the walls are a bit thin and it is very easy to hear other guests on either side, but again, this our only complaint

Awesome place to spend the night in Denver We stay here when our flight gets in late and we don’t want to drive all the way through the mountains to get home (Vail)The rooms are super clean, nice amenities, it’s right across the street from Del Taco and a few blocks from a cheap gas station, and checkout is at NOON!! Where do you see that anymore!? Such an awesome part of staying here and it allows me to work remotely for a half day and then head home (yes their wifi was good enough for video calls!)

Jeff was awesome and was able to get us checked in early which was much appreciated given we had our 10 month son with us who needed to nap Was extremely clean and fresh inside the lobby & room! The pool, hot tub, weight room are also clean and very enjoyable We tried to have a bonfire but it was to windy but would be cool another time

Also ordered some food from the cafe they have, the grain bowl was delicious I was not crazy about the Caesar salad Would definitely stay here again! Thanks everyone for your service during our stay and making it great

I book here as it is on my company’s preferred hotels in the area This is my second time staying here for a full week, paying over $1000 for my entire visit I arrived in CO on a Saturday and by Tuesday I desperately needed to do some laundry

I work late when in town and came in after 6pm and asked the front desk lady with light brown, shoulder length hair if the laundry rooms were located where the pool is and she said “Yes, but it closes at 6pm” I was clearly disappointed and she said “I know, sorry” I am 7 months pregnant and laundromats close by were closing at 8pm and I did not feel safe going to a late-night locations far away in areas I am unfamiliar with 2 days later on a Thursday I rush out of work to catch the laundromat at the hotel before it closes I approached a gentleman at the front desk and told him I knew the laundromat closed at 6pm, but if I already had clothes in there, if I would be able to get them out after 6 He said that the laundromat did lock at 6, but it didn’t close, I just needed to get the staff to let me in after that time As he is saying this, the same light-brown curly-haired lady who told me it closed at 6 two days prior walks up and agrees with him saying “yes” WOW So I could have done laundry 2 days earlier but she lied and told me it closed at 6 I am assuming because she didn’t want to have to let me in How LAZY I will not book here again for my work trips, but instead at the Holiday Inn Express in Broomfield, where I was booking before She will probably lie and say she didn’t say that or that I was mistaken But I assure you I would have done my laundry that night had she not told me it was CLOSED How unbelievable hospitality is these days in what is supposed to be a nice hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here! Stephanie and Tiffany are both really sweet baristas and do well under stress Jeff is a hoot and always willing to go the extra mile to help you out My favorite parts were the layout of the lounge chairs in the lobby, the virtual reality on the elliptical, and how gosh darn clean everything is!! P

S Mika was also very sweet and made a great breakfast bowl! 😋

Great service, great room, very clean, good breakfast selection, gym and pool available, small convenience store, water bottle filling fountain, great location, and dog friendly Had a great selection of teas and coffees available for free 24/7 Only negatives I have, the bathroom did not lock, it was a double door with a bar lock that didn’t meet in the middle, and the fridge was not very cold

Online it said there was no pet fee, we confirmed by calling the hotel weeks in advance, but we were still charged a fee upon checking out

Katie Simmons

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel The staff was very friendly and kind but this doesn’t help when there are countless problems with the hotel itself The first room we were given had wet carpeting, a shower that didn’t have hot water and a shower drain that was clogged and immediately caused the bathroom to flood (maybe the cause of the wet carpeting?) The second room we were put in on the same day had a toilet that wouldn’t flush

The third room we were put in had a TV that didn’t have working volume By this point, I was exhausted and too tired of moving rooms to ask about it Overall, just a dismal experience

Nicolas Tamayo

I had a really bad experience here The staff is very friendly, but there were multiple issues with the building The first problem began when we were woken up by a false fire alarm three separate times– after that, the fire alarm lights continued to flash for a further 24 hours

We were never offered any apology or explanation for the fire alarm issue, and if there had been a real fire, we would have never known because the staff never gave us any information Another day, after getting back from doing errands, I entered the restroom to see a black sludge overflowing our sink and spreading onto the counter, damaging personal toiletries that were left there The front desk staff said that they couldn’t help and that we’d have to wait until the next day for the issue to be resolved (the day we check out) or wait for them to find a room we could move into I have also been charged multiple times for the same room, charges totaling over $1,000 (when our room cost less than $500 total) It’s a very pretty hotel but has horrible infrastructure, and I am very disappointed in my stay

A O

Staff was excellent Clean hotel Hallway smelled a little funny

Everything was nice overall and clean Good Courtyard I’ve been to some “not so great” Courtyards, everything was nice at this one Short drive to Golden downtown and nearby amenities Santiago’s and Peak donuts are great breakfast items if you don’t make the 930am cutoff for breakfast at the hotel

Jessica Prahl

The rooms were nice and clean The Housekeeping staff was absolutely terrific! Helpful and friendly The front desk was not present most of the time unless you would call for them

At that time she was unable to provide us with any of the help we needed There was also no parking available in either this one or the Marriott next door and after asking twice what we could do we were finally instructed to park in a tow away zone with a frustrated response of “well they usually don’t get towed”The complimentary breakfast isn’t served on weekends due to “short staff” at this location so instead we were told to go the the Marriott next door Here there were two front desk ladies There was barely any food provided and this was right after it started Half the items were out including juice and coffee The wonderful lady working in that area was friendly and apologetic and had to deal with many frustrated customers The two ladies at the front desk didn’t bother to help as she ran around trying to keep what little was there stockedA simple overlook, such as no syrup when their were waffles served, no butter, and no juice or coffee when the staff knew that two hotels would be eating at one locationIt is understandable that their is short supply on certain items and delivery times are not always exact in these days, but when we are paying the prices that we are for these hotels I think a simple run to a local grocery store for syrup and butter from the hotel manager would have been warrantedI feel bad for the staff there that works so hard with little support

Sumflower M

The girl at the front desk last night was just so so sweet She deserves some sort of accolades or something for her kindness of the phone and in person She had friendly jokes when I was in a very dire situation

And when I got there she was just as kind Thank you so much (I am truly apologetic for not remembering your name or much at all) After 4-wheeling all day (since 5am) at 10pm she gave me one of the last few rooms available You were so sweet, even with the people who were really impatient before me in line thank you 🙏 thank you 😊

The room was very nice and spacious The hotel has all the features you would expect There are great walking/biking trails just behind the building

The private event area we had was very comfortable and quiet We had lunch three days, two were off a limited menu and one day was a family style buffet All was excellent, there were no complaints

Jessi Mennetti

This hotel was very clean and decorated nicely Our room was nice, only needed to be stocked with more towels They only stocked two for a room that sleeps 4

The pool was a little over chlorinated, but clean and at a great temperature Stocked with towels and quiet for a nice family swimMy biggest complaint was both elevators going down at the same time, but they were able to get one back up within a couple hours and the other was working the next morning

Cheryl Ann

Great price & absolutely beautiful hotel Was assigned a assessable room, so not sure if that was all that was available, but either way it was very comfortable Enjoyed a quick dinner and drinks downstairs at the bar/restaurant as we arrived for a late check in

Didn’t realize room had no refrigerator, so had to throw away the remaining of our dinners Comfy beds and good water pressure, overall great stay
