Normal Hotel, nothing special The front office did give us a hard time because we had a small dog with us The hotel is supposed to be pet friendly

The pet fee is also higher than at other pet friendly hotels Also my son got bit by a bug the one night we stayed Now we are at urgent care getting the venom out to see what bit him There was one girl that was nice to us, yet not so much from the others Probably not heading back to that one

I have stayed at Hampton Inn hotels many times and I must say this hotel stay is by far the worst Upon arrival the key card system was down and we had to be escorted to our room The TV was not working, however a front desk staff was able to solve this problem

My family and I attempted to use the fitness center There was a dead roach by a treadmill and neither treadmill worked We have always enjoyed the breakfast at Hampton Inns, but at this hotel it is sub-par and the orange juice machine is broken As I write this review, I have one more night for my stay and my key card, which I finally got, doesn’t work, and housekeeping did not service my room I will not stay at this hotel again

These people will steal anything you leave at their hotel! Management is not helpful at all they gave me the run around for three days Nothing in the room worked!! What am i paying all this money for! The worst part was that i took my own trash out of my room i seperated the dirty towels, cleaned the shower because they don’t do that ( the previous room users body hair was everywhere) and i left a thankyou note for housekeeping and they still stole my things Sad

Disgraceful Never coming back by choice

If I could give negative stars I would!!! Room did not have an iron when front desk provided one it did not work My husband killed 4 bugs in this room I’m so over this hotel

When I told the staff I had bugs in my room she only offered bug spray like it was normal that the hotel had bugs Wish I could post a picture of the red bug Not sure what type of bugs but we threw everything away and bought new clothes and bags Didn’t want to take a chance on taking anything home

AJ

Come on, Hilton, you’re better than this Housekeeping and maintenance are slacking off1

Door latch was very loose (See photo) Had to call to get them to fix the door latch You would think housekeeping would’ve reported itIt was missing one of the three screws that holds it on the door They tightened the other two screws but did not replace the missing screw, probably because they didn’t have oneI requested a different room but there wasn’t one available2 I found leftover food in my room — a half eaten food bar on the desk that slides under the other desk Disgusting4 No bar soap at the bathroom sink5 No paper towels6 Tub, sink and base of toilet need to be re-grouted7 Room was not ready when I arrived at 4:00 PM Check-in is 3:00 PM8 The seat cushions on the chairs in the breakfast area are disgustingly stainedAll this and yet they were sold outI will not be back

Disappointed Good location Room was clean, but sparse

Bathroom was also clean, but also very limited in supplies No place to comfortably sit after long day on the road Just a desk chair As seniors (75+), we need a few creatures comforts this room did not offer Lighting was inadequate, and room seemed dark Had to move nightstand and unplug the lamp ( which made the room even darker!) b/c we both use sleep machines and extra outlets only on one side of the bed I will be checking pictures and amenities more carefully, but likely will not choose this hotel again Hilton can do better

Jennifer Ete

I like staying here We’ve stayed several times, because the room is always clean, the staff is always attentive and friendly, the cost is perfect for the property, and the beds are comfortable The location is perfect if you need to be near the interstate

The on/off ramp might be 1/2 mile from the hotel, yet, it is very quiet in the rooms No outside noise at all

BRIANN PARSON-BARNES

The service is outstanding, one of the best I’ve ever seen and we are Hilton Honors members The front desk staff was super nice, helpful and very professional The restaurant workers,Wilemenia and the others were sooo nice, and extremely helpful

The food was good and the area was very clean We had a couple of issues, but the housekeeping manager Sheila, was outstanding and very accommodating Though the room was very clean, the hotel is a little older and not as modern as I expected The hotel is in a great area and going on the navy ship tour, on the river across the street, was definitely worth it The general manager was very pleasant and helpful!

Jay

Parking is off site and a bit of a hassle Before you can park your car you have to check in to get your room key which doubles as your parking pass, then you go back out to your car, park off site and walk back to the hotel But except for that, the experience was very positive

The staff is friendly, accommodating, and the breakfast is decent with fresh fruit that was actually fresh

Steve Hubbard Floor Covering

My daughter got married down town so we choose this hotel to stay One of the reasons we stayed was because of the suites and the views The reason I am so happy we stayed is because the staff was fabulous

The really treated my daughter and all the guest that stayed like they were royalty I would stay here time and time againThank you

Friendly at desk Major remodeling occurring on second floor Parking lot in upper area mostly full of shipping containers, leaving lower lot with signs reading ” Park at your own risk, susceptible to flooding”

Room just felt dingy, with dirt build-up on lamps headboards sinks and mirrors The beds were good with new/newer linens Furniture needs to be replaced Coffee maker looked disgusting Biggest issue was the toilet, I believe the wax ring was leaking, so water on the floor That is repairable but the toilet was so close to the wall (@13-14″ from center, code is minimum 15″) it was difficult to use, and with a grab bar next to it (lowering clearance to 10-12″) there was just no room We dealt it but would never have stayed a second night In the morning the coffee and breakfast were good and the attendent was very pleasant and accommodating We mentioned the toilet at the desk and he said he’d have maintenance look at it

Tara Wilson

This is easily the worst hotel room I’ve ever been in  If it was me paying for it, I would have definitely complained to them by phone or onlineOk, let’s see

bathroom lightswitch had to be toggled up and down several times every single time before you can get it to actually turn on My sister went and reported it several times but nobody came to even check on it No shower curtain Some kind of sharp metal who knows what at eye level at the back of the shower, about a foot longToilet stopped up and my sister went down to the front desk to borrow a plunger, and they actually just let her use it instead of coming to fix it themselves  Only one tiny trashcan in the bathroom, not another one in the room itself Shower wouldn’t go cold at all  – only warm to hot That’s just the bathroomThey’ve got a small Keurig that was absolutely covered in a thick layer of dust, as was most surfaces Window was filthyKing sized bed had a large bump in it going right across my side of the bed at lower back level It hurt so bad to sleep on!! The ice machine didn’t work on the 3rd floorThey were doing some construction on the second floor which is definitely needed I hope it’s much better for anyone checking in in a few monthsI could go on, but that already tells you It’s awful I absolutely wish I had taken pictures to post here

Shermanie Reed

The rooms were not clean, tub was rusty, the carpet was dirty and had stains, the paint is peeling off the walls and doors, the peep hole on the door was stuffed with tissue paper (they are too cheap to replace the door), free parking was advertised but not honored when we arrived The office manager, Brandy, was rude & extremely unprofessional She could not answer questions that were asked

She was asked for their corporate & she didn’t even know the number She was also unwilling to get the number She advised I find it myself on Google I would give 0 stars if I could

The key card readers barely worked at our door and at the pool We saw folks having try try and swipe several times to even get a light on the readers The digital key just plain didn’t work

Also, I realize we’re 24 months deep with COVID, and masks are optional, but it’s just plain silly for those staff members that choose to wear them, had them below the nose and mouth, either wear it right or don’t wear oneThe rooms are alright, the lighting needs some help being super dim, and nothing substantial to light up the bathroom

Rhonda McDaniel

The hotel and rooms were nice We had a room with 3 adults Advised on first night if we could get set up for 3 people instead of just 2 for towels

Every morning and evening we had to go to the desk and ask for more towels Was also told to put our dirty towels in the hallway where they sat I’d asked for room service to come in and clean, take trash and used towels Was told that bc we had multiple days they only came in when asked Even after asking they still didn’t come in The pillows on the bed were the size of accent pillows for your couch and only 2 on the bed When we booked the breakfast was complimentary On the first night we found out that it was now $15 a person which was absolutely priced too high for the few items they had I would not book at this location again

Melissa Edwardsen

I can see this is a refurbished hotel I chose this over Home2 because of the pictures The lobby looked new but the elevators and rooms were average

In parts of the room there were rusts The AC in the bedroom didn’t work I chose a room and didn’t realize that the bathroom was situated outside of the bedroom across the living room Not nice in there at allplus carpet was old

Room was spectacular only stayed a night but man what a view of the river, can’t beat it And the fact it’s convenient you can pretty much walk anywhere to get to where you need to be Comfortable room and great views

It’s hard to beat Definitely recommend staying here The brunch on Sunday was on point with an omelette bar and bottomless mimosas and build your own bloody Mary

alexis larkin

nice hotel and great location! love that it is in walking distance of several nice restaurantsfor the price we paid, i would’ve expected the bathroom to be cleaner (the shower was dirty when we arrived with hair on the tiles) and the valet to be quicker! took 30 minutes to get my car the other day

Gerald Emmerich

Location is good Hotel rooms need some work and are very run down One of the elevators shakes while ascending, while the other is missing a button

Lights in the room look like they’ve been hit with a hammer Toilet looks like it is about 50 years old with dark water marks in the bowl (and it runs from time to time) Mini fridge is randomly placed in a rundown cabinet with the door ripped off Other furniture is missing knobs and has touch up paint that doesn’t match The doors do not block any sound, so the rooms can be very noisy depending on where you are in the hotel I’ve been debating about cutting my loses and just going else where for the night I definitely won’t be coming back to this location in the future

Great hotel We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was prefect for us as a family of 5 for a week long stay Beds were comfortable, multiple pillows on each bed with different styles so you can choose and loved that we had room to move around and had 2 bathrooms! Don’t hesitate

if your traveling in the area with a family and want the extra space it is perfect!

tokunbo adodo

It’s OK good Not bad but not greatThe rooms are spacious enough and have adequate amenities

However, the place is getting dated A few things need attention:the faded hallway carpeting; the wooden floor in the room; the old carpet in the room; the archaic shower temperature regulator; and rooms that have the outdoor air conditioning units as your view

Allison Smith

To be honest, I was disappointed when I walked Into my room Everything is super dated Closet doors were broken on all 3 closets, dirty dishes under counter, there is no oven! I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite

Kitchen sink faucet was barely attached When u turned on water it came up and almost completely If you are looking for any kind of luxury this is NOT it Super basic, very dated, nothing to get excited about Only surface cleaned The carpet in the room was disgusting It was super sticky I accidentally stepped on it for only a few steps and my feet were sticking inside my shoes I would not have paid as much as I did for this room if I had seen it before hand The pool is basic also, like this is a 2 star hotel at best The water had white stuff floating on top and was not clear It was oy 3 feet and could not see the bottom Ungodly amount of chlorine also

Horrible experience Booked two, two room suites (king and queen bedrooms with kitchen, sitting area and bath) only to later cancel one for my son’s graduation at LSU Arrived to find that my remaining reserved room was not available because other guests were allowed to extend their reservations

This resulted in being given two king suites across the hall from each other Rooms were nice but the resulting billing nightmare left a lasting impression Took days to get it all sorted out so my credit card was billed properly Management needs a course in how to move guests who overstay their welcome!! Nice place, just hope your room is available when you show up

Nikki Wilson

The rooms were so clean! It felt like a little, cozy apartment!! The sectional couch was so inviting The bed was so comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean There was even a little dishwasher! They have everything you need to have a relaxing time

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good I can’t wait to stay again so I can just walk on over and shop at the stores near by!

The rooms were clean and smelled clean as we came in The bathrooms appeared to be recently remodeled The only downside is that it’s a walk in shower and we have a baby, so bathing her was a challenge

It was a great location We went to The Vintage for dinner and in the morning staff helped me locate a great place for breakfast – Milfreds Speaking of the staff I’ve never felt so welcomed and seen such helpful staff at a hotel before This was a great team and worth visiting again

Ruben Castro

Highly recommend this location/hotel! Quick, fast check in The hotel was well maintained, super clean inside and in my room (420) Free parking is not available, however, there is nearby parking for $15 or valet parking for $20(same parking lot as self parking)

The hotel staff were friendly, they made me feel welcomed and happy to support/assist me Wonderful city views from my balcony, walking distance to bars, restaurants, river walk, church, monuments, great sightseeing too! There is also a bar, Starbucks and restaurant inside the hotel

Bill Pandey

They fired my friend because he couldn’t work due to a family death When he called to get his job back they never answered and bad mouthed him His managers seemed to be against his religion as well

They wouldn’t allow him to work weekdays, preventing him from being able to go home on weekends Only giving 2 stars because his coworkers were good and pay was better compared to other hotels in the area

Does not live up to the Hampton brand Tiny room Dirty room

Dirt smears on the built in wardrobe Sticky substance on the headboard Leaves and dirt came out of the pullout bed my kids slept in Not at all what I would expect from a Hampton Absolutely terrible value for the money I give two stars because the night desk was polite and responsive when I called

Jake Tarallo

I’m in a family of five so we had to get a cot When we showed up the room we find out that the room is tiny We had to move some furniture just so we can use the cot

Not only that, but I found an ear plug, lego piece, and a bottle under the bed Since they were adjoining rooms, I think I heard the other people sleeping or they where noises from the hotel Speaking of noises, this hotel is right next to a highway so I could barley sleep and on top of that, the cot was uncomfortable The people there where very helpful Anyways it was barely enough to get through the night I hope this review is helpful

First impression walking through the door The staff was friendly and very helpful The lobby was clean and nice with lemon water for the guests The hotel itself is Located in a good spot next to plenty of restaurants

Check in was quick and easy The rooms were spacious clean cool and had comfy beds ! Happy with my stay for a reasonable price The breakfast was also delicious and a good variety of things to eat from biscuits eggs sausage bacon and gravy to the easy stuff like bagels waffles cereal and muffins Pool is also open which is a plus cause most hotels pools are still closed Also had a 24 hr gym area which was nice Will definitely be coming back for any future trips! If I could give more than 5 stars I’d give 10 !

Overall I was a little disappointed in my stay but I do understand that the staff was very short hand and were probably overworked The weekend I stayed here the hotel was packed, which was why we were here in the first place The Hampton Inn next door was all booked up

There were a lot of issues with folks room being cleaned and the manager herself very humbly started cleaning rooms I respect thatPros:-Breakfast was awesome-Hard working staff (Esp the manager)Cons:-Room was dirty when we checked in, had to politely ask for someone to please at least vacuum the room-Requested to have our bedding change 2-3 times (have a 1 year old who had an accident) and it took forever (actually still waiting on the change as i’m writing this and our first request was over 2 hours ago)-They don’t have ice machines-Pool is outside and super small (can be a positive depending on how you look at it)-Tub didn’t have a water stopper-Front desk receptionist was not there a good portion of the time however I do understand as some of them were helping to clean rooms-Checking in to the hotel, the receptionist was a little ‘cold’-When you check in to the hotel, the deduct $250 from your account for incidentals and then release it back to you after you leave I’ve never seen it done this way before Typically they have your card on record and will only charge it after you leave if something is broken What if someone need that $250 while they are at the hotel?!I’m sure most of these bad things were circumstantial but sadly it left a bad taste in my mouth and prob won’t be booking this hotel in the future Wishing the staff the best though

Feleisha Wilson

Disappointed with hotel and service We stayed as a softball travel team and families booked individually I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and had no problem

This past weekend was different First of all, way over priced Carpet throughout needs shampooing Room I stayed in had broken door to bathroom My daughter literally was locked inside I let the front lady know so it could be fixed I also put all dirty towels outside room late at night since we would be gone early morning most of day To say very least, I had to dry myself off with a hand towel since none were put back Not was just my room but most of our team had no towels, pillows, sheetsand the beds were too firm than I recallthis is very disappointing when paying double then a usual price The lady at front desk was little rude and not helpful To top it off, the hotel would not give Choice members rewards points Will not be going back to Comfort Suites here

I stayed there this weekend and checked my bed like normal and found hair was everywhere I need this place to start changing the sheets like they are suppose to The shower had hair in it

The staff was great but the room was not up to standard Thankfully I always bring cleaning supplies on my trips and my own bedding for times like this

Chelsey Kreil

Hotel Was Perfectly Situated, Easy To Access This Is Super Important When Unfamiliar With Baton Rouge! Shower/Bathroom Facilities Were Amazing! The Shower Was Modern With Plenty Of Hot Water And Shampoo/Conditioner Dispenser Available ‘In’ The Shower These Products Have Left My Hair Soft And Feeling Amazing For Two Days! One Tidbit To Share Is That The Beds Are Very Soft, Almost Too Soft (If There Is Ever Such A Thing)

After Having Been On The Road For Hours It Was Nice To Sink Into The Covers And Before I Know It I Took A Nap (Haha)

Paul Woodburn

I had a brief stay in this hotel on business and the outside and foyer was quite nice Adequate parking, shuttle service to the airport and within walking distance to heart attack inducing fast food and fast casual eating establishments The room however was another level

A lower level I went to bed fine that first night but then I was awakened by a loud screech outside my window and something crawling on my face Did I just check in to the Bates motel instead of Springhill Suites? Disoriented after being jarred from a long overdue sleep, I got up to check the noise It was a black bird with a nest in a tree outside my window and a line of ants with a trail leading to my bedDefinitely in need of an ant/termite fumigation treatment Surprised it has not been reduced to an anthill already

One of the best staysI never give reviews because I don’t care toBut in this case, this hotel made my stay very comfortable, very secured

I enjoyed my time here due to having a beautiful clean roomThe service was excellentTen minutes after my arrival, the staff called my room and asked if everything was good and if I needed anything I was quite impressedWhen ever I called for extra things, they would be at my door, matter in minutesI don’t recommend any other place, I originally flew up and stayed at the Hilton garden, DONT DO IT!I was there for two days and my nose became stuffy, there was huge roaches in there, it smelled like mucky airIt was terribleAnd I searched through 20 other hotels and Town-place seem legitAfter staying here for the remaining 8 days, it really made this business trip very comfortableThank you and your staff for a lovely stay 🙏

A relatively new hotel that was clean and had nice sized rooms The staff were friendly and professional The parking lot is large, with room behind the hotel for several large trucks or trucks with trailers to park

It was easily accessible from the interstate and had a few stores and fast food restaurants around The hotel’s hot breakfast was a sad joke as it is with virtually every M—–tt branded hotels nowadays There are a few new hotels clustered together at this exit but other than that it is a bit of a shady area The hotel seemed safe enough, but I wouldn’t recommend a single female venturing outside after dark

The location is not a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott it is a Best Western I was checked into a room that had not yet been serviced I was then checked into another room that was not properly cleaned

My comforter, pillow, and bathroom wall had blood stains on it There was a used washcloth hanging in the bathroom and the toilet was nasty I cleaned the toilet myself with the Clorox wipes I brought along with me I mentioned it to the front desk manager and he had this attitude as if he really did not care He proceeded to tell me that he is not the one that did it I was not looking for a refund or anything I didn’t mention anything about a refund I just wanted to let him know so he can inform housekeeping of the poor job they are doing People spend all this money to stay at hotels and is greeted to those kind of things That is just horrible Not to mention I had to strip the bed myself, go get fresh linen and make the bed myself I had my 5 month old baby with me and he puts everything in his mouth It was just horrible I shouldn’t have to clean the toilet and make the bed myself I paid my money and everything should have been done from the get go

My husband and I was passing through and it was cheaper than the Drury and the others we usually goes to However, we got what we paid for The bed wasn’t the best & breakfast was cold and bagged like commodity food, I guess

Like I said, you get what you pay for going cheap! Ik we will stick to what we’re used to next time Customer service was nice & professional
