It was a decently clean hotel It was just really old Very Dated

It just needs some updates The floor we were on received new mattresses during the stay There aren’t any microwaves in the room The staff was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful It’s located near different spots to eat and the mall isn’t too far from the hotel Until they did some updates to the hotel, I wouldn’t probably recommend I would only recommend because the staff members were great The hotel itself is a 2 and a half star hotel

I had a king bed suite at $185 a night before taxes (Room 209) The bed was very comfortable, and there was very good selection on the TV Room was also clean

Now I must advise that the bed was soft, which I like But I understand that isn’t for everyone, so do keep this in mind if you decide to stay at this location Also, as nice as the room is, the furniture is worn in a few places, one of the outlets where I plugged in my phone was loose and moved, and the desk lamp flickered Breakfast was very good, with plenty of selection My only annoyance was they had churros this morning instead of the pancakes and waffles yesterday I love Latin food, but I don’t care for churros Pancakes and waffles should be offered everyday, especially the waffles, which have cinnamon Overall, a nice hotel that needs a refresh

My family came down for the weekend for a family members wedding and at first there were a couple of oopsies but the staff was amazing and compensated us for the mix up! Also shout out to the amazing staff members we worked with, in particular Kimberlee (I low key would not have made it through the weekend without this incredible woman!), Paige (such a kind soul and was such a fantastic person), and Cameron (I’m sorry if I spelled his name wrong but he’s doing the Lord’s work at God knows what time in the morning 🤣) Also cleanest hotel I’ve been through in YEARS! Thank you guys so much!!

Rooms on point the pillow and the bedding was so so comfortable really liked it and slept like a baby The room nice very clean The lobby and all was clean People and service was nice They do have parking you have to pay but worth it

Nora Hernandez98th 8ii

Firstly, I would like to thank Patrick and Alex for all their help! They were both willing & eager to satisfy me as a guest & ensured I was taken care of The hotel itself was very nice! Rooms were comfortable & I had a great view on the 12th floor!BUT

I only stayed one night & left early to work & happened to forget my purse in the room & money was taken from it & also a credit card!! The fact someone went threw my personal belongings makes me u comfortable! I’m hoping whom ever it was is held accountable!

Stewart Merrell

The lobby area for the south tower elevator is not very inviting The rooms feel like they were partially remodeled about 4+ years ago but everything is super dark and heavy feeling My A/c filters were completely caked with dust I had to wash them to get the room to cool down and to get the “closed up” room smell out of the air

the overall overhead lighting in the rooms entry area needs to be updated and actually usable

This hotel is nice -ish I’ve certainly stayed at better Marriott’s, but it is pretty nice One piece of feedback – there was nothing on our door indicating we did not want our room cleaned

However when we returned from being gone the entire day (literally left at 8:00 am and did not return until midnight) our room had not been cleaned and we had no clean towels or rags My husband had to go down and get moreThe hotel is in a good spot and conveniently located to downtown For the price, it’s good I would recommend Just ask for extra towels when you arrive 😉

Laurie Giertz

Very roomy stay 1 bedroom suite Large living room and bedroom large TVs, kitchen that has an oven! Small couch could really fit a small sectional Across from I820 and Naval airstrip so can be a little noisy but we’ve had no problems sleeping

Bedding and towels nice Refrigerator has ice trays Breakfast downstairs daily Very friendly staff

Nobodys Business (Bonjour)

No service for 2 weeks, over charged and charged double then different amounts at random times putting my account to over negative $1,000 No towels, had to wash their towels, no blankets, no sheets for bed in sofa, general manager BUSTED through my door twice yelling at the top of her lungs for me to get to front desk cause card wasn’t authorizing when I had just spoke with the night auditor who confirmed I was checked in wrong and there was many fraudulent charges They put $400 in my account then took it out 2 weeks after checking out

I have a disabled daughter and 3 other kids 1 being the youngest and was treated with such disrespect and was terribly degrading especially bawling in front of other guests at the front desk trying to explain I had just spoke with her and the auditor Marriott will do nothing! Way more to tell but don’t have time or space!

My stay here was very pleasant The staff was friendly and very accommodating I was exhausted from driving and decided to stay here for a night to regenerate my energy

The room was clean and the ac/heat was working properly Surprisingly the bathroom was pristine clean The bed I inspected and was clean as well I have had no issues Parking is a bit of a hassle but again, the price you get what you pay for Price was also affordable I paid $60 for a night

Abigail Thrailkill

Pretty average hotel Very clean Room service is a little confusing

We were told when we checked in that room service was only on Mondays Then we got a call asking if we wanted our room cleaned on a Sun We see house keeping in the hallways every morning…not sure what is up with thatWe did not have any hot water the first night but that was quickly resolvedIf you want a cheap place to stay that is decent, this is right for you!

Shannon Hammonds

Me and my family came from Arizona to stay here so we could visit family for a 10 day trip When staying here we thought the room was great and the bed was so comfortable I would have given this review a 5 star stay because even the cleaning crew was so awesome and nice! Here is why I give them 1 star, we had given a deposit for our 2 small dogs that did not in anyway destroy or mess up that room they were great the whole trip and they are potty trained and have a crate they go in as well

The problem was not with my dogs it was when we left they would not give us the deposit back at all and said that we took items from the hotel It was very disturbing to me because we cleaned it so very nice before leaving and left all the dirty towels and blankets and even undid the bed for the cleaning team and left it all nicely on the couch for them We were shocked how we were treated after the stay but the front office I know it’s only 50 bucks but it is the principle that we ddi not take anything and we deserve our money back very horrible front office team and I will be contacting corporate about this We did take pictures of how the room looked after the fact of us leaving

This a very interesting place to review The hotel is nice and clean, the grab and go breakfast was great We booked a King room with pull out sofa

When I went to pull out the sofa bed to accommodate my daughter, I quickly realized the bed could not open because of where the dresser and tv were placed I went to the front desk where the night manager treated me like I was crazy, she rudely told me she had slept in the room and it worked fine, but would change my room if I wanted I said I would be glad to keep the room if , as she said the bed opens just fine(I assumed I was doing something wrong) She called for the maintenance worker who while walking with me said the only way to open the sofa bed in the room by the elevator is to move the dresser and TV, which would block most of the pathway to the bathroomI chose to move rooms, in the new room, the handicapped room, when the sofa bed opened it completely blocked movement from one side of the room The person sleeping on the right side of the king had to roll over the person on the left to get to the bathroom in the night This flaw is clearly on corporate or whoever approved the design of the rooms A child with a design App game could do a better job managing the space I cannot imagine that when the sofa bed is opened that the rooms meet fire exiting codesIf you need the sofa bed do not stay here!

Staff at check in was nice but Valet was not trustworthyI had my fragrance spray from The George stolen from my vehicleI called to notify staff and they said it was not their responsibility and that they were not associated with Valet, it had been too long

Microwave did not work, shower door was always ajar and water was over flowing on to the floor making it hazardous for meI would not recommend that anyone stay here foe the amount you payThe sheets did not seem to smell so clean either but I gave this hotel the benefit of the doubt and I was highly disappointedI would rate this half a star if I couldThe bartender was on his phone the majority of the time and did not greet us as we walked byI had better service at the bar up the streetI would recommend to pay a little more for a better experience

Gary Stewart

I travel a lot It’s hard being on the road and hotels either make the trip or break the trip depending on the experience It is not the case here

It was top notch all the way, from the moment I walked in the door The first interaction set the mood for my time here and it carried all throughout the visit The staff are kind, friendly and knowledgeable They were personable and friendly and I had a great experience I will be back

Kayce Rice

This was a great hotel especially for such a great price We stayed 3 nights and would highly recommend It is central to downtown so you can walk to endless entertainment

Shout-out to Steven at the front desk (he seems to do a bit of everything though) for helping make our stay special! He was extremely cheerful, accomodating, and honest He had great advice and really went out of his way to be helpful every time we saw him They are lucky to have him as an employee!

This HIE was good and is pretty typical No major issues Has breakfast, pool, gym, and laundry area

The pool was gross! Things floating with foam I mentioned to the desk and she said it’s cleaned multiple times a week, I asked when the last time was, she didn’t know Acted like she didn’t care too much One of the nicest things was a hand written personal note with a little snack Really nice

Jeff Rosen

Rooms are really cleanPillows are super thin (pro tip, ask for 4-5 bath towels and stack them under the pillow)Another pro tip: AC unit rattles if you have the control door closed, be sure to leave it openSubpar room noise isolation, you will hear clomping from above rooms and the hallway Rolling a towel under your room door and blasting AC for white noise helps somewhatFront desk service is exceptionally good

Overall I recommend!

Motivate To Be Healthy

We came in Tuesday 29th for a business stay Front desk ckerk was pleasant Our room was nice and big

Our bed, nice and comfy The water temperature could have been better It never really got hot I found that I had to run the water first before getting into the shower so that it could be warm enough to shower Our breakfast could have been better It was less than average Its interesting that all Holdiday Inn’s are different when it comes to breakfast I suppose when you are pressed for time that this would make do They do have one washer and one dryer They have a pool, with a fitness center as well Its convenient to get on the freeway So location is good but the area is a little less than desirable I would suggest this stay

Jonathan Matthis (Doc Holliday)

This is a great historic hotel in the heart of cowtown, excuse me, downtown Fort Worth The building isn’t overly huge, it’s in a great location, I mean Pete’s dueling piano bar is legit right around the corner (go there after 7pm for good drinks and sing loud damnit!) Had a minor issue with the toilet in the room which was fixed promptly when reported

Jason Vandiver

Wife and I checked in Thursday 3/24 Room was amazing complete with a soaker tub—a rare treat for the both of us However the remote control for the television was missing and the last guest’s k-cup was still in the coffee maker which we cleaned prior to use in addition to there not being any coffee or cups in the room

We called front desk who corrected the coffee situation but claimed that the ‘hotel engineer’ who works for them and the Hilton downtown would have to replace the remote Sadly, no remote came I know this is a small thing but when one pays $300+ for a room the coffee maker should be clean and the television should be usable Normally when one checks out the first question is ‘how was your stay?’ No such question was asked which would have been a Segway to explain what happened And when we did explain it wasn’t taken seriously Would not recommend as this place doesn’t know what the definition of service is; sticking with Marriotts moving forward which are cleaner and you have a remote for the television!

Gouvana I.

Loved our stay there!! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and rich in history Front desk and valet were so welcoming and friendly The bed was so comfortable and we definitely felt rested the next day

Not to mention, the location was amazing! Very close to Sundance Square and all the fine dinning We really enjoyed our stay!I would highly recommend! Be back soon!

April 2022-Great value and great comfort! Working A/C with cold air, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and clean roomTowel service-we had to bring our dirty towels to the front desk when requesting new clean towels I didn’t mind, as they were short housekeeping staff

I will pack a couple of my own towels next stay because once, the front desk said they were out of towels and we had to use hand towels Plan ahead, exchange for clean towels ahead of time, don’t wait until the last minute, is my adviceDownside-the sofa bed was broke, so we put the sofa mattress on the floor Very thin mattress and very uncomfortable Next time we will bring an egg crate to help with the comfortOur last evening, dogs were staying in the hotel and the front lobby, elevator and hallway from lobby to the elevator smelled very bad The dogs needed to be bathed and I’m sure the very hot temperatures outside, didn’t helpThe odor was so strong we could not use the elevatorI would Stay again and will plan ahead, bring bedding items to help make the sofa mattress more comfortable

Shaquinta Jenay

The elevator and hallway smells horrible I pulled out the sofa bed and there was all kind of trash under the couch and the mattress on it was filthy so me and both kids slept in the king I woke up at 6am to use the restroom and saw a huge roach in the bathroom

We checked out immediately after There was no way I’d be able to go back to sleep knowing there was a roach in my room As we were leaving we saw another roach on the wall in the hallway Disgusting

Cathy McNulty

I SO wish I could give the place a FULL 5-star rating, but the beds

oh my! If you like a firm mattress, this is the perfect place for you Personally, I can’t sleep on a firm mattress due to spine issuesHowever, the property is well lit, felt safe arriving late in the evening, CLEAN and beautifully updated furnishings, free breakfast and wi-fi, pet friendly (for a refundable deposit and extra fee per night), and great staff! The rates were excellent at the time we stopped overnight on a road trip They have a king suite with a whirlpool tub for 2, but not sure how many rooms are configured in this manner There’s a great mix of rooms to fit nearly everyone’s needsConvenient location that allows you to bypass the busy downtown traffic, if just passing through Just keep in mind the mattresses The bedding was excellent and room was clean But, it was a rough, toss & turn night for myself

Best Hilton Garden Inn stay ever Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were pleasant, professional and attentive The lobby is impressive, nice workout room, convenient to a lot of places

The breakfast was prepared to my liking and everything was delicious! The view wasn’t too shabby either, and when I came in from a long, tiring day, I felt like I was on a cruise The housekeeper had made a bunny for my toothbrush When I come to work in Fort Worth again, this is definitely where I will stay Thanks Hilton!

Mark Faur

Good and clean There is a great bar within walking distance Everyone was smiling and nice

The room had actual snacks and drinks, like gatorade and coke Have not seen this kind of service in a while!!! Here a classic example of how you could spend 5 extra dollars and make someone’s stay great Will definitely be back at your place guys!!

Tatyana Proano

I had a wonderful experience this past weekend at the (HGI) The rooms were clean, the staff was attentive and provided great customer service I needed extra towels and after calling the front office the FD clerk sent up towels within three minutes

Much appreciated! The breakfast area was clean and the manager on duty was helpful when asked questions or needed suggestions on what to order I ordered French toast, eggs with bacon and I recommend anyone who is a French toast lover to order it Very good! The location was perfect when traveling with your family and doggy There is a convenient dog area around the hotel with doggy bags which was great since I had forgotten mine upstairs lol Also the zoo was less than five mins away The freeway is around the block to take you anywhere around the FW downtown area I will be returning and I thank everyone at the hotel for their hospitality

Fairly nice accommodations at a reasonable price The staff was also very friendlyThe room was very clean and had good furnishings

The breakfasts left quite a bit to be desired, but no one seems to be doing breakfasts well every since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic The elevator and hallways could use some updatingOverall, my experience at this location was a pleasant one

We stayed in 2 suites for 2 nights for family attending nearby TCU graduation The suites were nice, comfortable, clean What made the stay memorable was the accommodating and friendly staff including Caymon at front desk, Tawanna the Housekeeping manager, and hotel manager Grace

Our complicated family get-together was made smoother by their great customer service The gentleman who cooked breakfast sausages for the free breakfast was also friendly It’s the little things that make a stay less stressful and more pleasantLooking forward to returning for a Fall graduation

Angela Davis

It was an affordable option, but rhe room was extremely warm because the air conditioner didn’t work The sheets/comforter was dirty The floors in the bathroom were cracked

The tub had stainsit just wasn’t a good lookThe only reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because it’s in a convenient location and that breakfast was EVERYTHING!!!

While handy to Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Coliseum, as well as the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, we don’t plan to stay here again Reasons:1 The rooms are exceedingly noisy

The refrigerator made a grinding noise when running and the AC unit made a sort of grinding noise before blowing cold air As it was very hot in Fort Worth, we heard these day and night, disturbing sleep2 Insulation or sound deadening in both interior and exterior walls was very poor We heard every footfall and conversation of those passing by in the hall In addition, a noisy freight train passing frequently in the night at a distance of a couple of blockswas clearly audible every time it rolled throughOn the plus side, everything seemed quite cleanHowever, at nearly $400/night cleanliness seems to be minimal expectation

Daryl Brown

Recently remodeled Nice staff TVs in rooms NEED to be on swivel mounts because they are in the corner of the room now

There is no longer a sport court so don’t go buy a basketball & pickle ball set for your family to play together because it’s patio seating and a bbq grill now Hotel is right next to Duck pond, Trinity River, green belt, and Dream Park Tons to walk/ride to around the area There is construction on West 7th so traffic can get congested

So far the stay has been nice I can’t tell if they’re understaffed on housekeeping or just super busy Our rooms weren’t clean after check in

The beds were made, but there were stains in the toilet, and the bathroom had no trash can, half the towels were missing They were very nice and offered to change our room We were already unpacked before we saw the bathroom Housekeeping promptly came and cleaned it Several things were just seeming like they are not accustomed to having a full hotel Very nice staff, breakfast was good, all other areas very clean A great family hotel

Andrew Zelechoski

Wonderfully situated hotel near everything you need in/near downtown Fort Worth The rooms were nice and spacious but I had problems with my TV and there were missing toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) Great complimentary breakfast with a good variety of items to choose from

The pool and gym were very clean and quite well kept Will definitely consider staying here again when I visit next time

Kelly Ann Varonfakis

I had a three night stay May 2022 and as an elite member, could not have been happier The room itself was basic, but clean with good water pressure and hot water throughout the stay There was ample parking, and on checking in I was met with a smile, amazing customer service and recognition of my status (Titanium)

The breakfast was also simple, but enough to get a person through the day, and the location is great You’re a couple minutes from the Trinity Trail if you want to skip the gym (which is basic but functional), and you can get a few steps in or just walk to one of many restaurants along the trail to grab a bite I’ve stayed before but never reviewed, so this is a favorite repeat stay of mine

Homewood was one of the cleanest, friendliest, and avoidable hotels we have stayed at in Fort WorthMr Velez went above and beyond to make our stay a home away from home

All the staff were friendly, courteous, and smiles from ear to ear Even though it was 105°outside, the room was able to get as cool as we wanted itThe complimentary food for breakfast was outstanding They even had vegetarian sausage available as an option All the food was hot, well seasoned, and the dining area was VERY clean It’s nice to see people still take pride in their job because it shows hereI have no complaints about this place The rooms were clean, stocked, ample space, the walls are thick so you can’t hear your neighbors, parking lot was very clean, well lit and close to an entrance The bed and pillows were so comfortable we felt like we were at homeThank you Mr Velez and all the staff for making our stay so convenient and comfortable while visiting Texas We will be staying here the next time we visit

Stayed for our first time for 2 nights The room was good, clean The hotel was clean, fresh

The beds and pillows are a little too soft Shower heads could be changed The breakfast was good Good variety The staff was friendly I think you should take out the trash n refill things everyday without asking, but that’s me It was a good stay and we’ll go back if we pass through

I had intended to leave a 4 star review, because this really was one of the best Homewood Suites we have stayed in The room was very accommodating and clean You can smell the clean

This was the first hotel room that my feet did not turn black from walking on the carpet I don’t know if it was because they actually clean it or because they just renovated and the carpet was new But they do have awful shower water pressure and a mediocre complementary breakfast The reason for my 2 star was because of the dishonest housekeeper/staff that kept the electronic device we left behind and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it We were advised when I called, the room had been cleaned and no new guests had checked into that room yet That device didn’t just walk away The front desk staff was very nonchalant about it, like it happens all the time So, if you stay here, don’t forget anything of value because you’ll never see it again

Main areas were clean and breakfast was good Staff was friendly Room was clean but in need of repairs

Specifically, the bathroom tiles were missing grout and needed repair, nails stuck out from the carpet where it transitioned from carpet to the tile, the bath tub needed to be replaced or resurfaced, the bathroom door did not shut properly, and furniture was well worn The door into the room had a gap at the top large enough to see light into the room The pool and hot tub were open, pool was clean and comfortable temperature but the ceiling was being repaired so a large area was roped off and floor covered in plasticRoom rate was $80 +tax for a weekday I would not stay there again

noisyno NOISY! Hotels are all about location, location, location and this location is a stones through from one of the busiest interstates in Texas if not the country and all the noise that comes with it I requested a new room upon arrival but was met with a resounding “No” from the desk clerk on duty about 3 PM The room was adequate but nothing special The hotel is dated and in need of a major upgrade This is like the Motel 6 of the Hilton family The full service breakfast was the best feature

This hotel has by far the most unprofessional breakfast host I have ever met While I was making a waffle she asked if I was making another because she needed to make one for her boss After I finished another guest approached and she told the guest she needed to make a waffle for her boss who had been waiting over an hour

She then cut in front of the guest and proceeded to make the waffle I and the guest stood in disbelief This situation really killed the overall experience for me and it was going great

Everything was great Our room was nice and clean We didn’t get an attitude when we asked for extra pillows and towels

We had a microwave, everytbing we needed for coffee and the had water in our room The bed was very comfortable to sleep in Parking was nice to conveniently located near our room I came for an event and the hotel was located in a decent area, possibly 20 minutes from the hotel

We had a great stay, it was clean & staff was great My only combos in the morning for breakfast you should have a better system for cooking the waffles & omlets Having only one person at each station making one at a time during spring break was a poor choice

We ended up leaving to get breakfast somewhere else as the lines were long & we didn’t move much after waiting for 10 mins We had a tournament to get to and we’re hoping to eat at the hotel prior This didn’t happen as they were not staffed to cook for several people

Right behind Hulen Mall, you can’t go wrong with this hotel The cleanliness has went above the requirements for CDC and its noticeable The room I got was a Studio with a queen size bed, and they are catered for long-term stays, with a nice sized fridge, small stove/oven, a dish washer, and a full size coffee pot

I would say the room would be perfect for a small family of 3 whose planning to stay for 3 or more days Although there are 2 separate buildings, the gentleman at the front desk allowed us to choose between the two and the floor Lucky us, maybe, but just goes to show their strive for excellence in the customer service department Was a wonderful experience

Customer service is terrible, i booked a stay for 3 days 2 nights, upon check in management was rude and disrespectful towards me and my service dog I was in the room a total of 4 hours, and in that time found 3 large roaches, a used tampon, and dirty towels hung in the bathroom I checked out the same day and have yet to recieve a refund, the owner and employees seem keen on keeping every last cent from me

Dont book here waste of timeEdit: 2 days later the hotel and management have denied my refund twice now, despite the photo proof I have This is now being pushed up to best western’s corporate offices

This is the worst hotel I think I have ever visited The staff was rude we had to pay extra for kids I will never come back

One guy was checking us in and then another one came from the back wanting to know about my daughter we had a double bed room that means four to a room they made us pay any additional 15 dollars for my child Customer service sucks

Typical Washington

Non smoker room smelt like someone just huffed a whole pack right before we walked in Couldn’t bring breakfast up to room Lady was rude to my wife

Kids woke up with sore throats cause of smoke smellEdit: of course it’s not a real name but I think you guys know who we are You also told us that you will not give us another room because you simply did not want us there So we lost 500 due to you guys and ruined our vacation The managers name is Mike
