Front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and kind Easy check in and out, and lovely rooms Splurge for the king suite with bath if you can, its worth it!! Hotel is clean, parking is easy

I forgot a blanket in my room while checking out, they were prompt in having someone go up to the room and bring it to me within 2 minutesAs a bay area/San Jose native who comes back to visit now, this has been my favorite hotel stay by far Thanks Juniper!

As a regular Hilton customer I have seen usually really great service and care to detailHowever this hotel needs a little help

I’ve always been offered a couple bottles of water beyond my first night I was reminded that water is only available the first day Strike 1 Strike 2 the restaurant downstairs has crumbs on the dinning tables and the coffee saucer doesn’t look like it’s seen a bit of soap The seating outside looks nice I’ve asked if the heater could be turned on, I was responded with “I don’t know” A little bit of extra care can go a long way Sometimes the little things can go a long way

We were forced to stay here as our 1 month advance booking which was confirmed at another Marriott was shifted to this place to as they were overbookedRooms are very good Nice and clean

But no one comes to housekeeping everyday, that’s surprisingPlenty of parking was available when we cameAnd the breakfast was everyday the same, sausage, scrambled eggs and oats, milk, juice etc which can definately be improved

Sanjay Senthilkumar

Not the best hotel as such but definitely up there Great value for the price paid Really helpful staff and the location is amazing! Not the biggest issue but there are multiple buildings and my room was very far from the help desk

Would help to have a secondary help desk if possible

Man-Soo Hwang

This was my first stay in over 2 years Not sure if it’s the result of the pandemic staff shortage, but they would only service the room if you ask for it On one day they didn’t service it even after I asked for it to be before leaving the room in the morning

I hope this is a temporary issue as I really like this place due to the convenient location

I want to be clear that this is not a bad hotel by any means Certainly not a hotel horror story you hear about At the same time, I was slightly disappointed based on the reviews I had read, so I thought I would post

To start, I thought based on the pictures online that a “premier room with balcony”, would have a room overlooking the pool, or a hood view of the town at least based on the pictures I saw online My room overlooks the parking lot, freeway, and a strip mall across the street Not a huge thing, but somethingThe jacuzzi was down when I was there Not hot, no bubbles Again, not a game changer, but just something And when I did visit the pool, there were people present who were glaring at me and my son We didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed and so we left that area Again, not something to make a big deal of, I could have said something and didn’t But somethingI think a fair comparison in any hotel review is a Motel 6 Everyone has stayed at a Motel 6 before You know what you’re getting into with a Motel 6 – cheaper, pretty bare bones, nothing to write home about, someplace (usually safe) you can lie your head at night There are better places, equal to, and worse places to stay than a Motel 6… I feel like my experience here has been equal to a Motel 6 Which I don’t think is a slam (again, not a bad experience), but also, just a very average hotel stay when I definitely paid what I think was premier hotel pricing I had to pay for overnight parking, which I didn’t see advertised anywhere, and I was even told upon check-in that housekeeping is only coming to rooms once every three days I’m sure that is a cost-saving measure at this point, but those cost savings are not being reflected in the pricePerhaps I’m being slightly unfair in that I didn’t speak with staff before writing this I’m not sure what they could have done though short of reducing the price, which I’m not sure is a fair ask They can’t change the view off my balcony or make people not look at me And again, it’s not a BAD hotel All the staff have been great I just thought I should write something though since I do use reviews myself when picking a hotel

Otto Weirich

AMAZING STAFF, I was staying here for work and long story short there was an issue in my room and all of the staff did an amazing job taking care of me and even upgrading my room for the inconvenience I wish I knew the names of the other employees but Erin the general manager runs a great hotel with a great team I don’t think I have ever been treated so well staying at a hotel than they did here

The rooms were super clean, and looked great They have a bar and small dining area serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a wonderful bar tender I will always choose this place when staying in the area again Thanks Erin and team!

Matthew Gant

The room wasn’t fully cleaned Notes from someone’s take out order left on the dresser Garbage in the hallway sitting for hours

The hot tub wasn’t heated Refrigerator in the room didn’t work The free breakfast area was closed They just had a few items in a basket with an empty coffee container There’s an extra cost for everything $12 a day for parking with signs everywhere saying they’re not responsible if anything happens to your car So obviously things are happening to the cars

SIX MONTHS I gave this hotel in advance to get it right I had booked a hotel for 2 guests, my treat to stay at this location for a concert at Shoreline While booking the hotel I asked what was needed so my guests would have zero costs accrued to them checking in or out

I was told to send back a form authorizing all charges as well as my ID and front and back of credit card to 1 Hold the room 2 Hold for incidentals 3 Charge the room upon check out Easy enough right? I guess not I checked in with this hotel THREE TIMES in order to ask if they needed anything else from me I kept being assured it was fine Well what would you know my guests were charged the $220 upon checkout which is double upsetting because they never should have been asked for a card in the first place How embarrassing when you are attempting to host a couple for a weekend out I am fuming mad, the hotel also looks great in the pictures and is barely hanging on to budget motel status in person I would give zero stars if I could

Sarah Yearian

The room was clean and beautiful The grounds are beautiful We had a king bed that was more of a queen

It is a Murphy bed The walls are extremely thin You can hear every noise upstairs and next-door Also if you’re on the first floor by the lobby you hear every one coming and going This is a solid place to stay if you are not a light sleeper Also their key maker wasn’t working so evey time we entered they had to open our door

Jason Matsumoto

It’s a decent little hotel, but the photos and marketing are a bit misleading, in my opinion It tries to sell itself as an upscale, boutique hotel with the website and photos showing the admittedly very nice grounds and common areas However, the actual rooms are not that nice, you can hear everything through the thin walls, and one of the 3 staff we interacted with wasn’t all that friendly (though the other two were extremely friendly and professional)

On the plus side, there’s a nice trail directly adjacent to the property, they have bikes that can be borrowed, and the prices are good We still checked out after the first night due to the noise

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here The breakfast was outstanding and changed everyday The hotel staff were always friendly and attentive

We had an issue with a shower drain that was resolved within hours and while we were out somewhere on the coast This hotel was very relaxing and really offered a great location for us to do just about anything we wanted Definitely will be booking here again in the future

The hotel lobby was beautiful I was shocked at how fancy this hotel was as soon as I came in the door The room did not disappoint at all

There was a big bath tub and everything was so clean The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious Highly recommend this hotel The free breakfast option was great too Plus you had the option to use it for a free cocktail between 5-6pm That was a first!

This is an update to my earlier reviews We are wrapping up an 8 day stay in one of the “villas,” which are the Grand Hotel’s premium rooms They are located in two story building behind the main hotel

Initially we were placed in a first floor villa room That room was disappointing There were some minor maintenance issues but the biggest problem was noise from the room above oursWe brought the problem to the attention of the front desk staff They were very responsive, particularly Mona, who is wonderful They offered to allow us to move to a second floor villa room, which we did The second floor room is completely quiet and there are no maintenance issues We are delighted with our new roomThe hotel is older and they may still be catching top on some deferred maintenance from the Covid slowdown, however, the gardens are attractive, the breakfast is upscale compared to most chain hotels (with multiple hot options each morning) and the complimentary afternoon beer and wine is a nice touchWe would stay here again but we would request a second floor villa room or, for a shorter stay, a room in the main hotel

We had issues with wheelchair accessible rooms They put us on the second floor with no elevator So they moved us downstairs into the handicapped room, which we didn’t need, just one on the first floor

It looked like it had been cleaned quickly (there was trash on the floor) and it smelled of smoke When they moved us to the room we requested with 2 beds, it was better, but still had trash on the floor and hair in the shower I like the in room microwave and coffee maker The breakfast was great The lobby and breakfast room have obviously been updated more recently than the rooms and look wonderful Overall, I just felt like the hotel listing was not an accurate picture of what you get The staff were apologetic about the accessibility issues but overall I still felt like they could’ve done more My son uses a wheelchair and they put us on the second floor with no elevator and then did not even discount us when we had to downgrade to a one bed room I’m not sure if I should blame them or expedia but it should’ve been more clear that this isn’t fully accessible

I stayed at this hotel with my bf for 1 week The hotel is new, clean and the staff is very friendly, specially MARIA at the restaurant, she’s a sweetheart and her food is amazing! She treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for getting aroundThe only downside I’d say is the first room we had on the 1st floor in front of the pool was too noisy but when they switched us to the 2nd floor was great!!I’d definitely stay again here and I recommend it!

I like how they have late late check inRoom was very clean and you could smell the freshness and also see it Did have to do my own little disinfecting due to having hands toddler who touches everythingThe bed was comfy and so were the pillows Was hoping to know what type of pillows are in the king suites might have to purchase themI loved the bathroom set up The walk in shower was Very niceI like that hotels are now transitioning into a modern look decor inside the roomsThe staff here were very friendly and cheerful Even the housekeeping staff were very kind and helpfulSanta Clara is a nice city and I love atmosphere thereThe breakfast was good hereOne thing I must say was the COFFEE! I stayed at this hotel for two nights The best Hyatt house venue I have stayed in so far The room was spacious, and its layout was practical

The hotel staffs were kind, and the breakfast was pretty nice They even had an omelet station Location-wise, there are plenty of restaurants nearby on the Cupertino main street Definitely recommending place to stay

Usually Hyatt House is an amazing chain / business hotel This one looks new and is beautifully designed but majorly flawedThis hotel is in a terrible location, there’s no food places nearby – just a busy bowling alley and a weird ice skating ring

There’s some food down the street but it’s not walkable, no sidewalks or well lit streetsWe decided to instead get a meal at the “H bar” It was awful, wayyyy too saltyAfter settling in our room, we turned on the AC only to have our room fill with the smell of old fish Never had this happen at a hotel but it was so weird, the whole room smelled of rotten fish – making it almost hard to sleepPros:- great design- secured underground parking

suhyeon kang

Me and my friend made a reservation more than a week ago and received a confiramation email And today, my friend received email saying, they need to down-grade our room; studio king kitchentte to regular king bed room, because today, a long-term guest requested to extend their stay (Okay

, but they requested today and we requested 9 days ago hello?) We chose this hotel because we liked a kitchenette There are only 2 days left before our trip and we’ve prepared this trip for a long time ago Very unprofessional and unresponsible I don’t even go there yet, but I am already disappointed

I had a great experience with Wild Palms If I’m back in town, I’ll definitely stay with them again The rooms are so-so

However, the amenities are excellent They a cute resort looking courtyard with a jacuzzi and a pool It’s nice to be able to relax in the jacuzzi after a long day of work Great place to stay if you come here for workThere are a few authentic Asian restaurants within walking distance

Harben Mahil

As soon as I walked in to my room, I noticed a dead cockroach in the closet Frankly, that’s unacceptable and makes me wonder how much cleaning they do between guests, or if the room was just sitting vacant for some time Thankfully, the staff was quick to give me another room

To add to the service woes, the safe in my second room wasn’t working and it took me 3 calls for someone to come out and fix itThe rooms overall and hotel condition were decent, albeit somewhat outdated I definitely would not recommend a room that’s on the Wolfe Road side, as you’ll hear fire trucks quite often and it’s pretty loud due to the somewhat thin walls Speaking of the thin walls, I could hear *a lot* of the footsteps of the person above me, as well as when they were showeringAlso, they’re still doing cold breakfast, which was also pretty mediocreIf you have a little bit more to spend, I’d personally go for the Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard by Mariott

Sky Li

premises confusing, one needs a map to find your roomNo elevator to upper floor and no associates to assistRoom smell terrible, swimming pool looks great but extremely filthy, possible human vomits and animal dumplings

Front desk reception Joey was incompetent, but the worst part is her poor attitude, rudeness especially to non Asians She mix up the assigned entry keys in two rooms when checking in only five guests rooms Two of the guests could not gain access to the assigned rooms, and worse was one of the rooms assigned, there were already registered guests insideIt took more than twice to finally get into these two rooms, but Joey, the Front Office clerk will not admit fault, and even stated that this was the guests own mix upApology in your dreamDefinitely will NEVER recommend stay

Good if you’re on a budget

My room was actually pretty comfy and quiet (though I noticed I had no neighbors the entire stay) But it should be noted there was no AC and the window would not open Not great I also felt like the elevator runs on the souls of the living and it might be after mine, so I only took the stairs It’s a bit of a “lipstick on a pig” situation, but you know what, it’s a convenient location, it’s clean enough, the staff are lovely, and the price is right

Moira Holland

Hotel was extremely warm and the air conditioning in my room did not work well Toilet clogged and no one came to fix it, I reported it several time I was then told maintenance doesn’t work at night, but I reported it at 7am…Description and photos of the hotel were extremely misleading

The pool is tiny…very small, and the restaurant is only open for breakfast, where they charge $15 for continental breakfast Staff was very nice and you can tell are trying to work with what they have

Christopher J

The water in our apartment complex in SJ was turned off over the July 4th weekend due to a massive leak I had some Hilton points left over so I booked my wife and I a night We enjoyed it so much I booked a second night

Staff was very helpful and accommodating It was like a mini vacation with all the shops next door to the property

True to brand, this property has fast, fun and friendly serviceThe rooms have all of the AC essentials, and are in excellent (like new) condition Very clean

Beds are comfortableLocation is quiet despite being right near the main boulevard (El Camino Real)Parking is a little tight, and the fact that they charge for parking is questionable given that it’s an unattended lot I get the parking pass to prevent locals or non guests from using the lot, but charging a fee is a bit excessive

Miri Lim

I stayed one night in June, and I want to share about the excellent staff, Louise I had plans to have drinks with my coworkers at the bar but unfortunately the bartender called out sick so my coworkers and I didn’t know what to do The front desk staff told us we can pick up drinks from the liquor store across the street

We did that and Louise took care of us by providing us with cups and napkins We were seated outside and he left the door open for us so we can stay late He was so nice and professional! I would definitely stay again As with any AC Hotels I love the clean rooms and the quality of the bed

Kristen Parker

I am a very light sleeper, and in general prefer to have a quiet hotel room There is very little sound proofing at this hotel I could hear every step of the person above me and every word from the room next to me

We decided not to stay the night because I knew I would not be able to sleepThe hotel staff was very helpful and kind and provided a refund The hotel was clean and modern, so if you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t mind a lot of noise you’ll be fine But if you’re looking for quiet, I’d suggest a different hotel

Hotel is getting quite tired/worn The staff are quite friendly and helpful If you’re looking for a budget friendly-ish Hotel stay here

Don’t stay here for new linens, fresh Hotel rooms, or any atmosphere I personally will look to find somewhere else to stay next time, but would stay here again if rooms in the area are getting hard to find

This place was terrible, the bathroom door did not lock, the headlamp over the bed did not work and there is little water pressure in the bathroom Will not be coming back here and definitely don’t recommend it to anyone else Don’t be a fool and go somewhere else Only redeeming factor is that the staff were somewhat nice

I was in room 222

Lazy housekeepersThey didn’t service my room for over a week and now they said it’s dirty so they didn’t even make my bed or clean the carpet All I can say is they are lazy!!!!!! Looking for the easy moneyIt will be my last time staying at this hotel ever

I started my stay here on 27feb This is probably the worst inn in the area, no idea how they got 4+ star rating There breakfast which is already limited and to-go runs out of milk at 7am, so enjoy your cereal with water I guess!?Also the front desk staff named “Ramon” is not helpful at all and all his replies are condescending

Not worth it, avoid!

I think most guests of this hotel might be Apple visitors because it’s very close to Apple Park So am I, actually I tried to book Residence Inn Cupertino which is located a block away but if I tried to book over 2 days the rate soared up so I stayed only two days there and moved to this hotel I know these two hotels belong to the same hotel chain and there is a price difference, but comparing to Residence Inn, this hotel was so disappointing

After coming back on the end of day 1, I noticed the room was not cleaned I knew their policy is cleaning not every day so I understood the situation and went to the front desk and asked to clean on the next day and he said yesOn the next day, I came back to the room and saw the room was not cleaned yet, I went to the front desk again My actual complaint is not due to not cleaning the room When I went to the front desk, the guy was processing the check in with a lady which seemed a new guest I waited there for 10 min and had to watch them to chat I know they need to be kind to all guests but I’m pretty sure the check-in process was done soon but they were laughing and chatting endlessly even he was aware of me waiting there Finally the chat was over and he said, the room issue was not his fault and he surely asked the cleaners so it’s their fault That’s fine, how can I find it’s who’s fault but again, more annoying thing was disregarding the guest waiting there and just did whatever check-in process for a long time until he wanted to finishIn addition to that, overall quality is also super much better at Residence Inn, so don’t stay here and go to RI instead

I drove up the pacific coast highway, very long day, called at 12:15am and waited on hold for 45 minutes to be told I could schedule for that same night Before putting the reservation in I wanted to confirm with my brother so I asked if there were plenty of rooms and I could call my brother then just show up without a reservation They said fine, there are plenty of rooms for the night

I show up at the hotel 45 minutes later to be told you CAN’T book for the same night after midnight That the system automatically makes it the next night so there was no way to let me stay ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You can’t let someone stay in an OPEN room after midnight if it wasn’t booked before midnight? It’s absolutely shocking that I was both turned away and was also completely mislead on the phone I drove out of my way, and had to figure out my alternative options even later Their system is beyond flawed and the miscommunication was exceptionally damaging Called Hilton and didn’t have to wait on hold at all, and they’re letting me book after midnight This experience was categorically appalling I don’t blame the front desk, she was doing what Marriott tells her to do, but Marriott is dropping the ball big time Absurd Just absurd It’s the middle of the night, I’m exhausted, in the parking lot of the hotel I was all but certain I was welcome at Back to the road Thanks Marriott!

Nice place, the rooms with the kitchenettes are pretty great and have a homey feel The beds are not super comfortable and the parking (garage, shared with the shopping center) is a bit inconvenient, but not enough to be a problem Complimentary coffee and breakfast is always nice

There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance Oh and I will mention one thing that threw me off at first: maybe it was just the day or time I was checking in (Sunday at around 5pm) but I had to ring the intercom to go through the main lobby doors, the doors were not open Just a heads up!

I give the Cupertino Hotel 3 stars for basic staff like maids, bar tender, breakfast crew, etc We did have some issues with management, but those were eventually resolved to our satisfactionWe booked their catering / meeting room for an event

The “chef” seemed to put little thought or flavor into the food Management later apologized, but, it was a memorial service and we only had one chance to get it rightThe common space carpeting was in poor shape The AC in our room was too loud to use at night The toilet and the bath fan weren’t much better All working fine, just not ideal The outdoor hot tub was “out of service”When we checked out the printer was down, so no receipt We were emailed one a week or two or three later They are building a new hotel next door so perhaps they are deferring maintenance here to pay for thatLove the happy hour idea and the morning breakfast

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond! The rooms are clean and modern The bathroom is an excellent size with a great shower head and full bath, and the bed was comfortable Wrapped up fruit, a Pellegrino, and a welcome letter greeted us when we entered our room! I Stayed here with my son, we had a great time at at happy hour! The breakfast was decent, great muffins! Downside: the pool is absolutely not heated, though beautiful and clean, We stayed on the second floor and we noticed that we couldn’t find the staircase

Not clearly marked which isn’t very safe especially if there was a fire or something The only reason we noticed this is because the elevator on our floor closest to our room didn’t feel very safe and was filthy The elevator from the main lobby, however was very nice, so we just used that one The value of this hotel is unbeatable and It’s in a great location close to the freeway and shopping etc I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is place is a gem It was so clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful I loved the jacuzzi and pool, my daughter and I practically lived there during our stay

Super quiet location, but not far from restaurants, and grocery stores About 15 mins away from Great America, and an hour from Sant Cruz Beach boardwalk Not to mention a decent free breakfast, normally bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurts, fruits ,pastries, with coffee and juices Definitely booking again

Zoe Field

gave us the wrong room at check in, was combative about changing it (despite having paid for two beds, was given one) and refused to give us any more than three towels as three women The pool had no towels at all (hence why we needed more towels, also have you ever tried to shower with one hotel towel that isn’t full sized with long hair?) They kept repeating that they told me I need to leave my dirty towels outside of the room before noon to get clean ones, I don’t need clean ones, I need MORE TOWELS

Not only did they respond defensively, but completely refused to give us any extra towels at allThe breakfast was cold, you don’t get turndown service daily, and the facilities are so-so really disappointing two night stay for over $400 I recommend staying somewhere nicer for more money if you’re already willing to shell out this amount for this place

Stayed here for close to two weeks and we enjoyed it My girl used the nice fitness center and pool pretty much every day We walked to several good eateries in the immediate neighborhood, including the excellent Donut Wheel (and I don’t even like donuts that much)

There’s a Target and Whole Foods within easy walking distance, as well The front desk staff are friendly, the bar pops off in the evenings (which could be a plus or a minus, depending), there’s a neat laundry room with machines paid and controlled via phone app, and the rooms are pretty quiet except for the inconsiderate folks who like to slam their metal doors all day and night (which you will find in plenty of other places) We are planning on staying here again in a week or two

house fish

Pretty secluded , yet on front Street with easy access the guy at the desk with the fedora started our stay with a smile Who doesn’t smile when I see somebody in one of those hats? It matched his personality his persona

Rooms are clean spacious Love the Fido friendly vibe The parking is kind of sketchy better know how to park My only complaint would be it was too quiet 🤫
