Andy Hayward

My room was spacious and modern and the frost desk staff was polite The only complaint I have is that housekeeping would only service my room once every four days during my extended stay and it had to be requested I expected a bit better for the price

Also, to echo some of the other reviews, I found the bed rather hard Overall, though, it was a mostly pleasant experience

Mario Zendejas

I joined the Wyndham rewards program and got a great deal for my stay I stayed there for seven nights and had a great time The staff was super friendly and helpful

Due to Covid they don’t freshen up your room every day They came in on the middle of my stay and cleaned my room and changed everything out But if you need more towels or anything else you just had to call the desk and they were happy to help Their morning breakfast was good too The star of the show was their Texas shape waffles They were yummy! Plus, it in a great location close to so many places to eat, and far away from major road noise I will definitely come back next time I’m in the DFW area

Brian Carson

Thoroughly enjoyed the vacation at this hotel! We were greeted every morning and every evening and given wonderful recommendations on where to eat and where to visit For my wife and I, customer service is a huge aspect in the success of a business and I can say that this hotel exceeded expectations If I ever find myself in or around Plano again, this will be the hotel I will stay at!

The front desk staff are very welcoming, kind, and thorough of the hotel regulations, times, and assistance for their guest Room was spacious We got a suite and it was nice

Beds were comfortable too Lighting was a little dark but I think that’s why they have those huge windows Only complaint I had was regarding one of the female valet drivers She was insanely rude But the hotel staff were very kind!

Marc Wills

We were very happy with our experience The room was clean The shower had good pressure, just had to adjust overhear showerhead so it didn’t leak

The complimentary breakfast was good Waffle maker was in the shape of the state of Texas which was a nice surprise The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful to us during our stay Its in a good location downtown as well to walk to most anything

angelina hill

Hotel was nice stayed one night enjoyed the fact they had a microwave This hotel was close to everything, which was really nice The only problem I had encountered was I had to keep asking for towels and nobody would bring any which was frustrating because your sitting and waiting when you can be enjoying an activity

I thought they would bring it in the room why I was gone still no towels and I has to keep calling When I saw a house keeper she even told me to ask the front desk, which was a little weird Other than that great hotel stay

I had just relocated from Dubai to Frisco I stayed in this hotel for 20 days and this was the best decision!!The staff is super friendly and helpful I don’t think I’ve seen such courteous staff in other hotels

My cargo boxes were due to be delivered when I was traveling and they managed to keep them in the conference room till I came back and took them Kate and Shelly are amazing ladies and they were extremely helpful throughout my stayThe place is very conveniently located near super target and a lot of restaurants nearbyThey have managers reception every Wednesday with complimentary drinks and finger foodOverall great experience!

debbie smith

Absolutely loved staying here I see why they got such good ratings We were house-hunting, so it was a 30+ day stay, so it was our home away from home

Thank you Shelley, Vickie and others for such great service I worked in hotel management for almost 20 years and you’re doing it right at Homewood Frisco Keep up the good work!

Tina Roberts

This is a pretty good hotel come down once a month This is the 1st time at this hotel The bed was comfortable and lots of pillows

The shower is great and is perfect for taller people Tv is a bit small Shampoo and conditioner was enough that I could use one each The front desk lady was a bit condescending when I got there since my friend was there 1st

I’ve stayed here three times, and never had issues staying here The staff was friendly and the room sizes are a nice size It is in a very good location, and accessibility is important to me when booking a hotel

As a travel agent location, room size, and accessibility are essential to my clients when booking rooms for them The price for the stay was decent, that’s important as well

Sydney Denney

Nice rooms and really good food in the lobby So convenient that they have a Starbucks menu, too! I was confused about the room service because they told me my room would be serviced every day (which I personally don’t prefer) but it was only serviced on day 4 of my 5 day stay Some of my coworkers got service once and others none

Pretty inconsistent, but it’d be great to give guests the choice

Davlyn Davis

My experience was wonderful, the hotel staff was great! One staff member in particular, Ashley on the evening shift, has excellent customer service skills I watched her with every person that came in, that her beautiful smile and her bubbly personality never changed! Thank you and it made my stay very enjoyable and I will come again ! D Davis

I stayed here for a month and the room was comfortable but I did find roaches Although they clean the rooms once a week, it was when they got cleaned where I’d find roaches in my room Also felt that the kitchen wasn’t stocked properly, but this was never resolved when I called

I checked out last week and got charged the $75 deposit even though I didn’t do anything to be charged the deposit The deposit I feel is an issue with any hotel at times so I am still trying to resolve thisUpdate: never gave me back my deposit and never got a reason or response for it

Emaline Lynn

I would absolutely give this zero stars if I could Toilet constantly running and eventually overflowing onto the bathroom floor Musty smell from floor to ceiling, sticky floors and grimy surfaces throughout

I booked the hotel for two nights and couldn’t even bare staying through my reservation There is an infestation bed bugs and/or fleas Misleading reviews on a third party website are the reason took a chance on this place I’d have to say the largest problem is the staff The lady working the front desk was not only of the coldest woman in hospitality I’ve ever seen, automatically going into autopilot instisting we were lying about any and every problem She even explained to us after coming into our room with a camera that she was trained to find them and left the original paperwork I signed when I first arrived and walked out of room like she had done this her entire career SLEEP IN A WALMART PARKING LOT, A HOMELESS SHELTERNOTHING IS WORSE THAN paying a company to infest your own house with bed bugs, feel so dirty you cant get clean, and being treated like a liar or/and some entitled guest that is looking for an easy way to get a free stay I’m going to sleep in my car now and then call the general manager in the morning At this point it looks like the hotel has got ripping people of down to a science and is used to keeping themselves out of legal troubleDisgraceful to Dallas!!!!

Kitambra Jeffries

It was a pleasure arriving to a friendly staff and clean room after traveling across three states in a couple of days I made the reservation via priceline and didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised I would definitely recommend to colleagues and will be staying here when in town

The construction is the only down side but it shall soon be completed

Great hotel all the way around The hotel staff was courteous The building well taken care of and the elevator had a steady speed to it (can’t stand elevators that move slower than usual elevators and make a bunch of noise) Breakfast was provided every morning and had hot food

Eggs, bacon and potatoes every morning The actual hotel room was excellent with everything one would need except a microwave Hotels seem to be going away from those in rooms Only issue is the toilet and shower area being in so tight Hard for the door to have room to swing open if a person is in that area

Alexa Mcdaniel

Although the rooms where nice and spaciousFriendly staff and clean lobbyI have to give this establishment a 1 star rating

I am a very careful person when travelingWhen anyone travel the risk of any type of bugs or catching something due to negligence of the staff can happenFor me I walk away from this establishment with a severe case of ring wormI stayed for workI worked 12-13 hour days grabbed food(mainly drive through) and went straight back to the roomI am very disappointed from the caliber of this establishmentI have tried reaching out to someone with this issue, but can’t seem to get any responseThe point of this to be carful! Please make sure you staff is taking the proper steps to ensure your rooms are clean and safe for the next guest

Michael Jung

I booked this hotel because Sam’s Club had a deal for it Saw that it was rated as a 3-star hotel And as far as 3-star hotels go

it’s one of them I really don’t know what to say about this place besides thatI booked this place for my family vacation for 2 days and 2 nights For some reason, hotel housekeeping staff never came to my room, not even to ask for more towels and sheets or to empty the plastic trash cans I’m quite befuddled on that It’s not that much of a trouble for me go downstairs and ask for some, but stillHalf of the electrical outlets did not work at all The broken outlets were, infuriating enough, were the most visible ones, so we had to place our electrical items in more inconvenient locations to charge them (ex behind the couch, under the bed counter, besides the bathroom sink)Despite me notifying the hotel that there were 5 people, the shampoo that was provided to us was no more the size of a small lipstick balm Had I not brought my own shampoo for this trip, it would not have been anywhere near the amount needed for 5 people Is that normal for all hotels? The breakfast was fine (lasted until 9 AM each morning) Nothing amazing, but just solidThere was a $50 security depositThere was a pool and an exercising room, neither of which I got to use during my stay, so I can’t make any comments toward those

I am giving them 1 star for there billing policy And for the manager telling me pretty much to leave if I don’t like it Charging people extra to be on the top floor is crazy when you have only a few floors

Charging people 30 per day in incidentals is crazy when you only offer drinks and cookies Some of your employees are super nice and some are downright rude including the manager Make sure all of your front desk staff knows your financial policy Never had a problem before at Hyatt and do not plan to stay at the Plano location again

Ivan Hernandez

I was a little worried about the 1⭐ recent reviews when I booked my room but I needed to stay close to the area due to the weather From the time I checked in all staff was friendly and professional even the housekeeping lady welcomed me as I was going up to my room The room was clean and spacious, bed was super comfortable and the breakfast the next day was amazing

The only downside was that the rooms did not have a USB charger for my phone I had to go buy a new one at the store Other than that it was a great stay I would definitely stay here again

Mary B

My room was clean, very nice and comfortable The breakfast was good I was here for 2 nights

The entire time the room key machine at the front desk was not working So I never had a key to my room and neither did many of the other guests Consequently the staff at the front desk were spending a lot of their time going up and down the floors unlocking rooms for guests The wait at the front desk to get checked-in or anything else was LONG because the staff were away (opening doors) One of the two elevators does not work, and has not worked for several weeks due to parts shortage While I was there the phone system went down and you could not make calls from the room, or call the hotel from outside

Rooms were nice, but standard Unfortunately, no microwave to heat up leftovers and mini fridge was pretty mini Staff was nice and the little shop next the front desk had a good selection of drinks, snacks and necessities to choose from

They do sell alcoholic beverages from a mini fridge behind the front desk if you don’t want to get a drink from the bar Pool area was nice, lots of seating areas, but pool was a little on the smaller side Overall, nice hotel, would consider staying here again

Brian Range

The bed was hard We had a suite and the room was not at all what we had expected It hadn’t been dusted either

So it makes me wonder if it was even sanitized Was very disappointed that there was no microwave! Was very inconvenientthe shower pressure was awful I did enjoy the bar and restaurant service Al the bartender was amazing and if I was to come back it’d be because of his customer service Thank you Al! Breakfast was good as well but was disappointed there was no pancakes or waffles on buffet I’ve never been to a hotel breakfast that didn’t have them just like the microwave situation, for the price of the room and it being a suite it should have a microwave! I will definitely consider staying somewhere else

Tameshia Wilson Gumbs

Currently in my room and this place never disappoint me I love everything about it Indeed, there are additional costs when parking in certain spaces as well as having a great breakfast

But it is an option if you want it You can pass up that option and just get a room without those perks for a lesser rate The restaurant in the hotel is really good and comfortable just like the rooms This is my 3rd stay and I look forward to many more stays as we travel up this way frequently for my daughter’s ice skating lessons

The hotel was clean and spacious The bathroom is rather small for a suite but it’s manageable The restaurant was nice but it is only open for breakfast

Dinner can be served in the bar area or taken to your room The staff is amazing from the valet, to the front desk representative, to house cleaning I would definitely recommend this hotel for leisure or business

Robin McCoy

Compared to my experience at Hilton’s last property I stayed at, this was a far less pleasurable experience My room was never serviced, even when I asked for it to be The front desk during the day were cordial, but not friendly

I had to turn my water on and let it run for over five minutes to get hot water The restaurant was mediocre The best part of the team was the valet staff and the evening front desk team Bar staff were very helpful as well

Mary Ellen

When visiting family in Dallas, I stay at the Hilton Lincoln Center for convenience The rooms are fine; I appreciated that they now provide a refrigerator in the room It would be nice to have a microwave as well

For a pricey hotel, service is lacking I took my bags upnti my room and brought them down when I checked out unassisted The food served in the bar for dinner was good and typically priced I was disappointed with breakfast They no longer have an option to order from the menu You have to do the breakfast buffet The breakfast I had was poor: the eggs were cold and the bacon was burnt

This Hotel is a very beautiful one located around downtown in Dallas It’s spacious and have a nice ambiance The swimming pool is an exciting place too

It has a ball room that can be used for event and other rooms that can be used for a training or group activity There is an escalator and elevator The kitchen service is also greatthe rooms are super clean with a large window to view Because the hotel is a high rise, you will enjoy the view from your roomit’s beautiful There is a valet parking but I feel it’s too expensive per night for $21-$23😕 You can do a self parking behind the building

kaylin ascherl

This hotel has the BEST service I’ve ever received, the people are amazing Cleanliness, location is decent depending on where you are trying to go All types of amenities

& Beautiful One thing to keep in mind You have to pay to park in their garage which is a bit difficult to get back and forth to, especially with bags – IF you do not get a good spot So – pay a bit less for garage (not sure if charges daily or each time in/out as you use your key card or ease of valet & text to get your car rolled up in 5 minutes

Niecy Cameron

I’ve stayed here a few times but the last time I came it was very strange Lots of people who didn’t have a room was there and they don’t have security and their cameras don’t work There was an incident and staff wanted no parts in trying to help

Valet is really nice and friendly There is free parking across the street and across the street from Benihana Nice location and a 20 floor hotel Restaurant and bar in the lobby Breakfast is buffet style and the food is good The dining staff are nice but definitely are more kind to certain people

Fun atmosphere, and great food The rooms are unique and different We sat at the rooftop bar and enjoyed a beautiful day

They pool seemed nice, though we did not get in The bed is not the best, but it is still good I get the feeling that this can be a pretty loud place, so this may not be for you if you are looking for a quiet retreat For our purposes we really enjoyed it

Wende Walraven

My daughter picked this hotel which is different than where I usually stay It was convenient and easy to get to downtown I am very happy with her choice

The rooms were very clean and unique The roof top pool and bar provide an awesome view of the skyline and the atmosphere was relaxing and extremely laid back The staff was particularly helpful, friendly, and down to earth A very pleasant stay and will stay there again

So

my stay at Canvas Hotel was a lucky accident I got the last room at the last minute and it turns out it was the best room with the best views (512 for your booking pleasure)First the hotel is in an historic landmark building (1910 Sears building) in Dallas so it has this exquisite industrial Brooklyn loft-style feel Think Ace hotel LA or NY but with southern hospitality Big warm welcome, fun, inviting lobby with sofas and pool tables and incredibly high ceilings letting in tons of light My beagle Gigi was warmly welcomed all over the hotelThe service was pre pandemic “it’s all about you vibe” and the food was delicious But the high water mark was the roof top bar and view of Dallas Incredible, like no other in Dallas and with more personality and no Highland Park attitudeIf you are in Dallas, don’t go downtown, go to the Canvas Hotel and just chill out You have the best view of the cityBut I gave this hotel 5 stars not only for the views and food, but because of the people who workThat says something Thank you

A very nice stay in Downtown Dallas The hotel has their own bar area which is nice and does serve food, but you are also surrounded by many great restaurants The pool is small but does have a great view and plenty of seating in and out of the water

The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed We stayed in a Queen Double room and it was just as expected Every area (including our room) was very clean This was our second stay and we will for sure come again!

Nader & Jessica Chebaro

Overall great hotel The rooms are spacious and clean Hotel location is great with plenty of dining and shopping within walking distance

The only option for parking is to valet at $40 a nightMy biggest complaint is the final bill at checkout I booked a special rate that included the parking fee The total cost with parking and hotel/state taxes was $212 When I went to checkout, my bill reflected $288 I questioned the price with the front desk staff member She acknowledged my special rate and updated the price She then stated the total is $255 Again, I questioned the price and showed her the confirmation email with the price of $212 She clicked a couple of things on the computer and then said “your updated price is $212” I asked what the issue was with the price difference and she said “nothing”I’m just glad I checked my folio before departing the hotel

John Stephens

Have stayed at many Hilton properties, including this one in the past Property is still nice, rooms are a little aged, but clean and comfortable Hotel services is where this stay fell short

Housekeeping is by-request which is my preference, but I made 2 requests during my 4 night stay First time went flawlessly Second time, I was ghosted Not sure, if it was communication failure at the front desk or what I coped Next morning, had to compete with a group of street people at the coffee bar The icing on the cake was at checkout When I asked for help with luggage, I was told that no one was available and a click The brightest spot of the stay was the valet parking group who were friendly and efficient, but I also believe they were employed by a 3rd party contractor

Incredible views, nicely kept stellar rooms, glass elevators, dining and more will be found here at this beautiful downtown Dallas location We stayed in room 1056 which has beautiful views of the city during the day, and the coolest lit hotels at night! The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel The atrium leading down to the Texas Star is a site to see

Our room was clean and the restrooms were freshly caulked Rooms contain an iron, refrigerator, and hand held driers A microwave can be found downstairs, but are not in individual rooms The mirrors and lights are beautiful and provide indirect lighting for each guest room The Reunion Tower is gorgeous to view or to go up into and see the best views in Dallas, especially at night This hotel offers a variety of conference rooms for all kinds of meetings and events From ballrooms to basic meeting rooms this hotel has it all Beautiful lights and chandeliers are seen around this hotel Certainly worth a visit Up to date and beautiful hotel

This is by far my worst hotel experience The hotel may sit in downtown but there are no restaurants, shops, etc located around the hotel

It sits off in its own little corner Part of the excitement and appeal to staying downtown was the access to explore My fault on choosing this locationSecondly, I paid a large amount to valet only to wait forever for access to my vehicle Ultimately, I had to ask for my keys and go get my own car Now, understand the expense of self-parking vs valet is not a huge difference so why not benefit from valet The room service was not accessible, as neededThirdly, the room is old and furniture is worn Items are not clean The list could go on After a long day of traveling this is not what I wanted to walk in to Overall, I will not return to this hotel One stay is more than enough!

I stayed at the Hyatt for an event that was being held at the hotel It was mostly quite positive with one negativeFirst the good: The people were wonderful and very helpful

There was a nice variety of restaurants, and even the food choices at the event were very good The rooms were quite nice, very clean and had a great view to the south overlooking the freeways (which I prefer to just looking at buildings) The HVAC system was pretty good, keeping the room cool There was also plenty of hot waterOne downside to the rooms: The vinyl covering around the bed frames and on the walls above the beds were dry rotted and flaking Every night before bed I had to sweep the flakes of vinyl that were all over the nicely made bed That really detracted from my experience I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for that

Mattresses are average at best and too firm Pillows are worthless, don’t maintain shape, and it took all 4: 3 under my head (for height since they collapse) and 1 under my body (to soften the mattress) Good thing we were 2 in 2 queens and not 4 people! I tossed and turned all night both nights

Breakfast was just as bad as Holiday Inn Express: calling it food is generous Orange colored drink, but not orange juice For all the money spent on the hotel, 2/3 of the things I’m there to do were utter failures: sleep and eat breakfast Even the hot water was inconsistent but enough to take a decent shower Only 1 of 2 elevators worked so there were some long waits I mean, fairly pathetic for the price Best Western Plus puts it to shameAlso, don’t stay in the same room with non-family You can’t lock the bathroom door You can’t shut the bathroom door It just slides along the outside of the bathroom wall The door is wider that the door shaped hole in the wall and that’s it

The friendly and accommodating staff saved me one morning after the running water was out in the hotel I was stying at down the road Not only did they smoothly check me in over the phone at 6am, when I arrived at 7 the desk clerk was aware of me and got me into a room right away and it was such a relief! The night clerk had explained everything Then he said, please enjoy our complimentary breakfast once you get settled

I know that’s for guests who have already spent the night, so he didn’t have to do that, but he seemed to actually care that I was taken care of The rest of the week showed this was no exception The staff are intelligent and honestly cheerful and helpful Not fake like they are reading off a customer service script These are real, actually nice people I would say I’ve lived in California too long and it’s just Texas hospitality, but the hotel I was escaping from was the exact opposite so this staff are special Thank you to the staff for all they did for me, all the little kindnesses are so much appreciated And the manager should know he or she is doing an excellent job hiring and leading great people I will recommend this hotel with gushing praise

We were supposed to get two presidential suites with titanium rewards and they only gave us one, after promised, because the other one wasn’t ready

When we got to our “Basic” bedroom we found roaches and told the staff and didn’t do anything about itAt breakfast time the server was very rude to everyone, which I totally understand because he was the only one working but it wasn’t the right way to treat clients

My boyfriend and I were staying at the Dallas West Park Hotel as it was transitioning into the Renaissance The hotel was beautiful and we enjoyed the bar area, the new bartender was great! We were even able to check in a couple hours early which was great because our flight landed earlier than expected However, there were a few disappointments during our stay

The first two days there was fire alarm testing and on the second day it went on for three hours! We inquired about this with the front desk and a man assured us it was just the two days of testing and that it would end soon We never received a heads up about this, had we known we would’ve made plans to leave during this time My other big issue was that the day before my check out housekeeping came to my door multiple times, and eventually the hotel management, who asked us if we planned on extending our stay I explained to them that my check out was Tuesday and showed them my confirmation email I had booked through American Express, which they assumed must have been the issue I had to go down to the front desk to rescan my keys and forward my confirmation email to the manager but never received an apology for the inconvenience and misunderstanding The situation made me feel as though I was at fault Beautiful hotel but I don’t think I’ll be staying here again

Was less than impressed during my recent stay First of all, everywhere in the hotel is warm The lobby, the rooms, the restaurant

I feel like I couldn’t cool down and it’s only May Our refrigerator in our room didn’t work either You have to manually turn it on? I’ve never seen that before The coffee bar is only open until 11 during the week and the restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner I was turned away at breakfast when there were people still clearly seated and eating It was 9:45 If you’re thirsty between the hours of the restaurants being closed, good luck getting something to drink (or eat) There are no vending machines and no where to get drinks/food The restaurant smells like an old bowling alley and the sheets smell old and musty The one drink I had at the bar was good, and the dinner menu looked good, but since I didn’t order cannot attest to taste

I would definitely recommend this hotel!! The room was clean, big, bed was comfortable, shower water was hot and the breakfast was good There should have been more options but it was good The staff was nice, professional, and helpful

Housekeeping cleaned my room while I was gone and that was amazing!! I stay in different hotels each week that I’m in Dallas and this is the first hotel that cleaned my room since Covid

Disappointed with Hotel considering it is a Hilton chain Room was very hot when we arrived & never cooled off Hotel was tidy but hallways & elevators had trash scattered in areas

Only 2 wash cloths in a room Location was great & front desk help was very kind & welcoming Arrived after 10 pm so we didn’t request help with air conditioning Thought it might cool off but never did Didn’t sleep well in the hot room

Eman Sherif

My stay here was amazing! The rooms are clean, the area is quiet, and the view wasn’t bad at all! The hallways are kinda humid, and only one elevator operates The breakfast was okay, and it was nice because it was a free all you can eat buffet in the lobby from 5am to 10am In conclusion, I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Dallas!!
