The Hampton in Downtown Columbia SC is in a great location with easy access to excellent restaurants and downtown amenities but we were very disappointed that the rooms were not in the shape they should have been The lampshade next to the bed looked like it was beat up and the outlets on that side of the bed didn’t work Come on people, these small things are an easy fix

Details always matter My lack of review of service was due to the fact that with “keyless” entry we did not come into contact with any hotel personnel

Parking is an absolute disaster Hopefully you have a backup plan! No valet, no one directing you to overflow parking, not sure there is one We did online check in and never spoke with a sole from the staff, seemed odd

Guess once they have your business, you’re stuck Breakfast was blah, cold “omelet”, cold sausage etc They bread we were able to make toast out of was the best thing going for this hotel minus the location Heard numerous guest complaints as we were walking in about overbooking and literally didn’t have a room for them even thought booked 4 month in advance I can’t warn you enough about parking for this hotel, hopefully your stay is midweek without an event ongoing near by

My posting of my statement is not in regards to my stay at Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District, because I have never stayed there But I do have concerns regarding the manager at this Hampton Inn Columbia-Downtown Historic District location I called front desk to hopefully see if possible they could reschedule my interview

The front desk clerk stated that the manager was upstairs in one of the rooms and that she was on her way to the front desk So I ask may I wait until the manager arrive to the front desk and speak to me The front desk clerk stated that the manager would return my phone call when she arrives So shortly afterwards the manager called me going on about the front desk said a she called knowing very well it was a he male whom called So I told the manager a few years ago I have had an interview at Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District just a few years prior to my scheduled interview on Friday, March 11, 2022 I kindly stated to the manager that I gave them consent to do a background check on me and that I checked upon my background check due to no contact after weeks which have gone by The manager at that time stated it was still pending but suggested and referred me to apply at Hilton Columbia Center because Hampton Inn must be very strict on whom they take on board for any position at their hotel on Gervais Street So the manger just began rudely speaking over me knowing I was not finished explaining to her on March 11, 2022 about the prior experience with Hampton Inn not hiring me due to petty criminal activity in my background which I still have yet to get rid of out of my background and off my record so my record would be clean as it has always been The manager in the midst of rudely talking over me over the phone then abruptly hung up on me I know it was intentionally because the manager at Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District did not even recall me to find out whom who hung up or if the phone abruptly ended the phone call When I called back to the number in my call log that the manager had just called and hung up on me from she did not answer but rather ignored my phone call So since the manager can be rude and disrespectful to a non guest whom have not stayed at Hampton What difference would it have made if I was a Hampton Inn guest? A rude manager at a hotel is a rude manager at a fast food restaurant, drug pharmacy store, etc

Friendly staff 5/5Now let’s get to the roomBed super soft my boyfriend and I both where out like lights We did have a King sweet and im pretty sure we stayed in room 310

It was clean, probably one of the nicer BW we have stayed in in quit some timeBathroom I really wanna give a 45 shower was AMAZING, it has perfect water pressure and they know ya boy likes it HOT The only downfall of the bathroom was the toilet It was connected to anything so when you sat on it, it moved a lotThe nature of our stay was just one night decided not to drive home through all the storms and found this place for a great price I would honestly stay here again and hope the toilet was better secured

Deborah Crawford

When checking in I told the lady at the desk that my husband smokes and where were the designated areas She told me where I initialed the parts where it says smoking in room is $250 charge

My husband smoked outside but when we left they added $250 to my charge card They said they can prove he smoked in the room I asked the how, The answer was they do this all the time and they charge when people smoke inside I asked about the dope smoke smell in the hall and she says they charged everyone that smokes So I guess because I stated up front there would be a smoker in the room and the halls reeked of smoke when we arrived I was on the list So just to forewarn if you smell the dope smoke on your way in just know you will be charged whether you smoke or not If your clothes smell then be prepared to have a charge whether you smoke in the room or use their smoking area I am a non-smoker and I did not smell anything in our room at anytimeso just saying

We stayed here for just one night It was a great stop to break up a long road trip The staff was soooo friendly

Our room was spotless Breakfast was great The nice lady at the front desk made it a point to converse with my children upon check in She was very friendly They were so great that we booked them again for our trip back home

Mitchell Teeters

First let me say that the staff was excellent Friendly and helpful and sincereNow the dings

Floor of handicap room (entire room) felt like you were sticking to it Kind of funny until later You could see a haze on the floor in the reflection Not a big deal initially, INITIALLY We got in late so we just wanted to go to bed, then up early Not by choice The sun shade was broken and guess what, we are facing East, yay!So up we go Last night I was excited to have a decent shower stall (I’ve had a stroke impacting my entire right side)!I went to use the shower and nope The plastic slider and spray nozzle weren’t working I got it back together and when I turned on the water the base was spraying almost as much as the sprayer This was where it got sporty Remember the haze on the floor? Yep, I had to get the wife to help me out The bathroom turned into a skating rink No shower today I guess I’ll was my hair in the sink Wife could use it but I can’t Also the lights near the bed flicker, kind of makes me think of the Artemis hotelI went to breakfast which was very nice Clean and friendly!I never felt that the staff did not appreciate the issue The manager was extremely nice, and she could empathize having had to family members that had had strokes as well I believe truly that they’re going to take care of the issues, let’s hope they do! I am optimistically will

Jaimie Small

Great staff and experience! I worked with Tracey to plan a last minute wedding rehearsal in the meeting space She made sure to consistently communicate with me and my family regarding our needs to ensure the setup was correct She was there when we arrived to begin setup and followed up after the event

I look forward to working with this location again!

My favorite Hilton Hotel as a business traveler This hotel is older but has been well cared for and updated The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and nice furniture

The staff is always very accommodating and the parking is the best for a downtown urban hotel as it’s a secure garage attached to the lobby so if it’s raining you won’t get wetIt’s less then a 5 minute walk from parking garage to your roomRuth Chris is lobby is good and hotel is less then one block from many other restaurants

Gloria Gaillard

Our stay was enjoyable! The room was clean, and the staff was polite and friendly Dinner at the restaurant downstairs (Ruth Chris) was great The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating was because the mattress slips on the beds wooden platform and the pillows could be more comfortable

Otherwise a great hotel, very clean, very nice!

Alan G

I said Hilton hotels All the time but usually lower end ones like Hampton inn when I’m traveling or going to see friends This Hilton Columbia center was fantastic Very clean very nice rooms and great amenities

But most importantly the front desk the people there were great the service was so good The person who helped check me in the first day saw me on the third day when I was leaving and remembered me and mentioned that I was able to get free breakfast since I was a diamond member Just the fact that she remembered me I thought was very surprising That’s what I call great service

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend and the stay was great! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful Honestly all of the staff that we encountered was very nice The hotel is in a good location close to a lot of food and retail stores

The room was large and decorated very well My husband loved, loved the king bed! We would definitely stay here again I’m giving 4 stars out of 5 because the room was a little dusty and could have been touched up before our check in But overall a really good stay!

naomi rosenberg

The staff was professional but very welcoming and accommodating It is a pet friendly facility, so I had my dog and there were no problems with this either The room was very clean and comfortable

Every member of the staff I met, including the front desk, breakfast area, and cleaning staff were friendly and asked if there was anything I needed All of the appliances worked well There was plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the hotel in high traffic areas Very nice individual soaps etc in addition to large wall mounted bottles of soaps and lotion were of good quality and very welcome The location was close to family which is the other reason we chose this hotel It was the nicest Hampton Inn I have stayed in over my many years of experience

B Love

Location was good For this hotel to be a few yrs old in this new location, I guess I expected more for what I paid, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes and what I paid was still much in my eyes Anyway I reserved the King Rm with Sofa Bed sue to sleep issues

Thought I’d be able to elevate my feet and just sleep upright on the couch, but apparently that’s not the case The couch looks and felt very old, dingy, and used The desk chair is not comfortable at all One of the pillows had yellow stains on the pillow case The floor or carpet still had dried food droppings on it and the shower had brown straight hair in it and on the shower wall as if housekeeping took the same rag from wherever and just dragged it across the shower wallor maybe not cleaned it all 🤔 mines is black and coarse I brought my own cleaning supplies & wipes like I usually do Just think 🤔 a little attention to detail can go along way & some much needed maintenance from the furniture to the walls The walls in the room look like someone tried to paint over paint mistakes or just simply gave up trying to paint period I may try the location at Lexington if I do stay at the Hampton Inn again

No hotel is perfect, but when every effort is made to try for it one must be thankful The staff is amazing as other guests have said in their reviews Recently I stayed at an Extended Stay in Baton Rouge which I wouldn’t wish on anyone

Compared to that, this place is luxury livingI have been here for four weeks in two separate stays over the last month and total of three different rooms If I may share things to improve, two things The TV has major lag time in each room Takes like 3 seconds or more to respond to the remote, even asked for new batteries but every room the same Not sure what data needs to be streamed for corporate but even scrolling through menu is so slow it will make you angry The last item is like most hotels, some motion sensor in the room will shut off the AC in the middle of the night so save energy so I tend to be hot and yet to make it through one night without waking up in total heat around 3:30am A simple walk in the room and it comes onOverall four stars with suggestions Thanks much to the staff

Kendall Christian

I’ve stayed here a few times when in town for work If you have a pet, the rooms are not as clean unfortunately Biggest issue is the temperature in the gym

3rd time I’ve stayed and it was over 80 degrees Today at 6:30 PM I addressed the issue with the front desk and he informed me that it wasn’t working to yet come back later and tell me it was changed from 71 to 78 degrees earlier in the day So you lied about it being broken because you didn’t want to take the time to change it? They put care into happy hour for guest but will not accommodate a temperature for a guest in the gym As a Marriott Bonvoy member I try to stay loyal to the Marriott brand because of the dedication to the service and care of the staff, but the level of care here is definitely more of a 1 star establishment

Cindy Boe

We arrived after 4:00p and had to wait 2 hours for our room “to be cleaned” The front desk personnel were not friendly and when not checking someone in they sat in the lobby staring at their phones When we were finally able to get inside our room it was FILTHY

Hair on the bathroom floor, HAIR ON THE SHOWER FLOOR, carpet stains, dead bugs, stain on sofa bed and desk chair and a toy left behind from former guestThe room was dirty and in an unsanitary state We went to the desk and informed the two employees They barely responded nor acted surprised We left the hotel

Great stay! I travel often for work and it’s the little conveniences that make the difference The hotel is newly renovated and they did a great job freshening it up The bistro/Starbucks in the lobby makes it super convenient for coffee and meals

The room is nicely equipped, especially for a work trip The bed was comfy The road noise was minimal, even though the hotel is close to a highway The AC fan ran smoothly throughout the night (vs start/stopping) The room felt clean and I slept greatAnd the gym is great! Clean, modern equipment, and tons of spaceWould definitely stay here again

Rachel & Brian Gallagher

This hotel was filthy Looked like the person that cleaned the room just made the bed and cleared the garbage cansThere was a dirty knife on the floor, a smell as though someone foul had just been in the room seconds before I checked in, the blankets in the closet were balled up and thrown up there, no iron to be found, and every single time I flushed the toilet I had to lift the lid and fix the chain

Just grossExtra star is for the pleasant front desk staff, they were amazing through and through

Amy Lafferty

I booked a room for my boyfriend through Expedia He showed up and booked a second room not realizing there was already a reservation The front desk receptionist did not notice that there were now two bookings under my boyfriends name and they charged us for two rooms

We were told by the receptionist that he would contact his manager regarding a refund on the unused room Expedia also called the hotel and was told the same thing Last night the manager denied a refund So we paid for two rooms and only used one It would’ve been common courtesy to refund due to the mistake on both parties parts, my boyfriend for not understanding he already had a reservation and the receptionist who did not check for his reservation under the same name We will never use this hotel again We will drive 20 further and book elsewhere

I hope this stay improves So far customer service is very rude I’m assuming that Fairfield is better than this

This does not want me to come backThe rooms are clean enough Hallways are good It’s just the customer service But that’s the first impression When you walk into the door you expect to be greeted and pleasant atmosphere You expect the employee to be helpful I’m not sure if they’re having a bad day but this is not good

myron wright

An odd stop It was late I we were in need of a pet friendly place First room had a broken bed

then the next room wasn’t made up So they had to make the room up quickly at like 11 pm The weirdest thing was some of the housekeeping staff lived right across the hall on the 4th floor The lady who fixed up our room was over the top great I wish I could remember her name First breakfast ever that had whole jimmy dean sandwiches in a warmer

Paul Sommers

A poor experience all the way around! Was not greeted on arrival by the front desk Not told any information about the hotel, where the elevators were, what time breakfast was etc I travel for work and stay at Fairfield Inn properties regularly

This one misses the mark by a mile The hotel is in desperate need of updating, but that doesn’t even account for the lack of customer service from the staff We came down at 7:00 to eat and get on the road and were told that a hot breakfast would be ready at 7:30 by a woman at the front desk No problem, I can wait for a little So I went and fueled up and loaded up to leave, came back at 7:30, still no breakfast Was at that time informed by someone else that the hot breakfast was a to-go sack! A little bit of explaining when I checked in, or from the other front desk worker would have gone a long way to ease my immediate frustration as I was traveling with my family and had 6 other mouths besides mine to feed! If you are not going to serve a hot breakfast, that’s fine, just let me know when I check in so I am prepared! The gentleman at the front desk then proceeded to tell me that a to-go breakfast was Fairfield Inn policy and it was because of Covid So I guess I haven’t been eating the usual hotel breakfast that I have been enjoying every other week when I stay at other Fairfield Inns? I wish I was joking but blaming Covid was the icing on the cake for me 🙂 In short, I should have listened to the reviews, they are accurate This is not the usual Fairfield Inn experience that I am used to and would not consider staying here again

My sister had to come to a manager meeting at Lowes Food Store there at the village at sandhill We got checked in with no problems by a nice guy on Monday night 2/28/2022 All the staff was very nice to let me stay there in the breakfast area while my sister was in her meeting from 10am to 3pm

The breakfast that was provided was absolutely delicious!! It’s in a perfect location close to stores and restaurants and if you want a breakfast that is not at the hotel there is a Waffle House right next door It’s so close for you to walk to it If we have to come back up in that area, we will definitely be staying here again! Thanks again for everything and hope y’all have a blessed and safe week!

DS DS (Traveler)

There’s 2 hotels side by side, it’s the one that looks like an abandoned dump next to the Waffle House Can’t tell who works there because staff wears graphic tee shirts and walk around with an attitude, literally thought they were a guest wandering the lobby Hot water is off and on when showering

Room cleaning cleans rooms every 5th day?!?! This place is a joke

In these days when you see so many hotel reviews speak about the poor quality of service or cleanliness, this hotel was a breath of fresh air It was clean It was very well run

There was a very good breakfast The bed was comfortable but sufficiently firm The bathroom towels were better quality We were graciously welcome by the front desk Our only suggestion is that blackout curtains be installed over the bedroom windows

Teresa Abney

My room was very clean although I still sprayed lysol The staff was very friendly and accommodating Breakfast was good especially the bacon

It was cooked to perfection The only downsides were the water pressure and hot water ran out very fast The pool did not have any pool side chairs for laying out There were also no outside outlets for the outside area There were also and outside in the sitting area Finally, a bag of cheerios was $400 all and all it was a good stay

Bonnie Peters

Teresa at the front desk was amazing Very personable and pleasant Made our check in a good experience since we were very tired and unorganized

The suite was very nice Teresa was at desk when we checked out and again terrific and with a great smile Bed was comfy tooWould recommend your establishment

I can’t say enough about how great and friendly the staff here was; everyone from the front desk folks, to the shuttle drivers, the maintenance staff, bartenders and room cleaning folks were just spectacular! 👌 The room was great, wish the bathroom and tub could have been a little bigger but overall we are very happy with our stay The location is great and even better with the free hotel shuttle We would love to stay here again mostly due to the great staff 🙌

Carrie Sease

Ehh Stay somewhere else, it’s fine and it did the job, but the rooms are outdated, they were painting half of the rooms on the floor so it wasn’t very crowded We were driving halfway so just stayed one night

It’s in a decent location to campus but I’ve stayed in much nicer hotel rooms that have more amenities and are cleaner The shower had the shampoo/conditioner/body wash mounted on the wall so it wasn’t nice little individual bottles to use Yuck The garage is TIGHT and super short clearance Just go somewhere newer

mike williams

The best location available in Columbia if you wish to be near the railroad tracks and the main road i was there with a team for a USC event as well as a couple other teams, we were lucky only had to wait 45 minutes for our rooms, one of the other teams didn’t get there’s until late that evening One of the staff told me that it was hard to clean rooms without elevators working, evidently 2 days before both elevators were out of service so they did there best by using the stairs

It was fun getting to meet all the other guests as we waited a minimum of 5 minutes to catch the one elevator as the other one was still out of service, yet the front desk told several guests that it was working, maybe it was a invisible elevator I was told that the hotel has a new owner which explains a lot because we have stayed here many times over the years and it has always been very okexcept for the constant noise from the street and the train horn at 3 and 5 am in the morning If you are fortunate to get a room facing the pool then it’s not too bad Breakfast was well not good, runny eggs, pink bacon, and lots of fiber “ie coffee grounds” in the coffee This is by far and away the noisiest hotel in town, albeit it is the closest to a lot of areas on campus, so if you want, you won’t have to walk far, but you won’t get much sleep Only hotel I have been in that actually has a white noise machine next to the bed That should be a red flag right there, Here’s your signOh well we aren’t going to use them anymore so water under the bridge Just thought I’d let you know new owner is way worse than old owner One positive was my room was nice and comfy, just wasn’t able to use it for sleeping, but it was great for everything else

Great location, has restaurants within walking distance, Not bad at all Pool was small but not crowded, Room was clean and bed was comfy Breakfast was good they have waffle maker, cereal, juice, coffee, eggs and cheese and depending on the day they have either bacon, sausage, ham etc

lady that was serving the food was really nice and refilled the bread tray after I got my eggs and sausage, when i asked where the butter was she walked over and got it for me instead of just pointing to it She didint have to do that at all, but I did appreciate it and made sure everyone in my party left her a tip

Cost just as much as a Marriott when the rooms are outdated Very disappointed when I got to my room Total came out to be $144! That’s what I pay for a upscale hotel

The room looks old but at least it was clean… google advertises them having a bar also, this hotel doesn’t have a bar Spend your money on something actually worth $144

Jam Jam

Over all it was clean and pleasant but the breakfast is not worth the hassle personally i felt the pool was a bit small and definitely needed a good cleaning but the outside patio area around the pool was very nice and modern But the restaurants around this hotel are terrible i dont recommend eating at any of them except arbys cause every where else was super slow wait times or out of just about anything you woule ask for its almost as if no one wanted to do their jobs but for this location particularly i guess its go figure so id return but only if need be

My overall stay here was nothing short of amazing The staff is phenomenal especially Tiffany!! She went above & beyond for us Always helpful and giving great shopping & dining tips

Although we had some issues with cleanliness & repair management was always on top of whatever issue we may have had Special thank you to Meka (house services) for being so kind whenever we needed anything! If you’re looking for a spacious room here is your place We enjoyed our two bedroom suite w/two bathrooms & full kitchen Breakfast was nice as well as the M-W social hour! Wasn’t happy the pool was operational but it had some repairs in place Be careful going out the traffic is heavy and is in need of a stop light Our beds slept great, complimentary Dove body wash& shampoo products were a plus Thank you Staybridge for an awesome ladies trip this week😊

From reception to culinary to housekeeping to maintenance; this is one of the nicest most accommodating hotels I have stayed in!!! We had an extended stay there for my job and were made to feel like family It was clean, well maintained, and the staff are phenomenal The food was very good and had a nice variety

Will definitely stay there again if my assignment takes me back!!

A reservation does not guarantee a room! Confirm your reservation Multiple times! My wife and I were thrilled when we found a two bedroom suite that would accommodate us, our two year old toddler, and our dog We accepted the elevated price, acknowledging the elevated price to ensure a comfortable and restful night’s sleep for all

It was quite a shock and disappointment for us to discover the day of our arrival that our reservation had been altered our reservation to two separate, non-adjoined rooms, all without any attempt to contact us to alert us of the changeSince we arrived late in the evening, we were unable to speak to a manager until the next day (Friday) in an attempt to resolve the issue Upon doing so, we were offered a partial refund on the room However, when we were contacted towards the end of the day we were informed that the refund would be a small fraction of what was originally offered and, to receive the full amount, we would need to contact the site we booked through After doing so, the booking site informed us that the hotel would not approve the refund and our attempt to contact the hotel directly has resulted in no responseWhile it can be expected that unforeseen circumstances will arise which require both business and customer to adjust, the failure to communicate these changes and the blatant refusal to follow through with the offered partial refund is absolutely unacceptableOn top of this, the indoor pool on premises, which our daughter was very excited about, had an Out of Order sign up all weekend Even when we were assured by the front desk that we were allowed to go in, the pool was so heavily chlorinated that it was uncomfortable to stay for more than 15 minutesThe saving graces for all of this, and the only reasons why this receives a two star review, is that the rooms themselves were very well kept and the beds were comfortableI will not be doing business with this company again in the future based on these interactions

This hotel feels older than it should From the old swipe room keys to the feel of the room the hotel needs a refresh The curtains for the window didn’t really block much light, leading us to dig out our eye masks for the first time on the trip

The elevator seemed to operate on its own time, so after the first use we just used the stairs The side entry door was often situated so it wasn’t secure, meaning anyone could walk into the side entry The bathroom needed a refresh, and the TV system was a leftover from the early 2000’sIt isn’t all bad The location is pretty good to experience the vibe of The Vista and the Publix supermarket is a very short walk The pool was fine, though an old chlorine pool and the breakfast was descent for the post-pandemic Marriott properties All in all, I will skip this hotel the next time I return to Columbia

We made the reservation based on reviews, availability of a king with an extra bed, and location To sum up my experience on the evening we arrived: I wish I could just go homeThe bed wasn’t very comfortable

The conditioner and body wash bottles were empty, and I didn’t realize it until I was already showering The air conditioner was deafeningly loud, and it was right by the bed I wish there had been a ceiling fan or something for air flow because we just couldn’t sleep with the a/c runningTo be fair, I’ll give a few pros: Decent scent in room The presence of a sofa bed and trundle bed in the room with a king, too Not a common feature! The shower had good water pressure The air conditioner worked, it was just insanely loudAll in all, unfortunately no, I wouldn’t stay here again

Bait and switch I booked a king bed a month in advance I arrived, checked in, and my room had 2 double beds

I complained, and was told they are queens and that’s all they have Major concert in town and everyone is booked up I have a queen at home, these are not queens My husband and I woke all night long I would have been better off at a motel I travel for work and will not be booking Marriot again

I would have given a zero (0) star if I could On Thursday, 5th May 2022, I had my worst hotel experience with this specific hotel I called and made a reservation

Everything was set, and we were good to go I drove there at 8 pm to grab the key Surprise! The receptionist asked me my home address and said that because I live within 30 Miles, they could not give me the room, which I could understand However, as an IHG member (Platinum Elite), my address and payment card were in the system when booking the room They knew or should know that She even thanked me for being a valuable member Why didn’t they refuse my reservation right away and waited until 8 pm? Sad, upset, and frustrated, I stepped outside and tried to call several other hotels (around 8:30 pm) Obviously, there was no availability for us at that time I had to sleep OUTSIDE, in the car, with my wife and two kids I will never, never, never, never, never, and never go back again or recommend this specific hotel to anyone Worst customer service ever

We stayed here for one night against my better judgment I didn’t see the reviews about the cockroaches until a day before we stayed and it was too late for us to cancel The lady at the front desk was super super nice

I did appreciate her But my daughter (17) saw a giant cockroach at the pool (which she said was disgustingly dirty) And I saw cockroaches running up the wall in the morning while we were packing to leave Made me cringe This location has an actual cockroach problem and needs an exterminator I gave 2 stars because of the candor of the front desk lady I did not take a picture but I can confirm the sofa in the picture another reviewer posted was also the same sofa in our room (Fridge was also dirty)

Zane Campbell

Very kind service and clean as well The person we had was very kind and even gave us directions to the Pizza Hut nearby We asked if they had any educator discount, and we got a room that would have been $150 to $125 and she was kind about looking too

The breakfast was free and good Some food was slightly cold The bathrooms and suits were clean One of the elevators going down was stuck, but when pressing the manual open door button , it opened Thank you holiday in for accommodating our stay!

This hotel is newly renovated and some areas are not quite finished yet but none of that mess affected our stay here It was quiet and our rooms were very clean However, the best part about this hotel is BARBARA!!!!! (Front Desk, second shift) Talk about a kind, caring and attentive employee, she went above and beyond to meet our needs and bring joy and laughter into our visit! She is precious and the best asset of this hotel

I only gave this a four star because they do not serve the iconic hot breakfast these hotels are known for I realize most hotels, including this one, are using the excuse of covid restrictions for why they are not serving food but other Holiday hotels are making it happen and this one should too!

Rachel Wall

The room was very spacious and clean The front desk was very nice The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because I called to reserve a room and when I asked for a shuttle, it didn’t arrive to the airport

When I got to the hotel, I was I formed that whoever answered the call gave me the wrong price However, the kind young ladies fixed everythingwhen I talked with them at the front desk

Christian Filips

Room is okay Service at front desk was fairly good but the General Service is one star because I stayed in the rooms for a week without Room Service

not even to come by and take out the trash out Not surprise though, it typical of the hotel, they belief the community they provide service to should clean up after themselves or they will report them to their superiorHoo-ha Btw, this is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this will happen across the State ( Note: I’m not generalising, but just saying it’s because of their location and the community they provide service to)

I loved this hotel from check-in, breakfast to check out The amenities are kept in excellent condition Some amenities standard to this hotel typically include washer/ dryer, gym, outdoor grill, basketball court

The staff were all pleasant and welcoming With COVID-19 on another rise, I absolutely appreciated the way the hotel kept track of spaces that needed sanitized The breakfast tables had signs if they still needed cleaning between use, the elevator was mopped and cleaned at intervals and teamwork was evident The staff wore their mask and offered help to their peers in other areas

Our stay at the Fort Jackson IHG was tremendous Our experience was just as positive as it was in previous visits there The folks there are very gracious and attentive, from the breakfast attendants to the front desk

The room was nice and clean We did not notice any noise or inability to sleep due to loudness, the room was very quiet Our room was cleaned in a timely manner and they left extra towels like we requestedIt was a relief to have a nice breakfast each morning for the family I was just really impressed with our stay and can’t say enough When I read reviews I am always concerned with the environment and cleanliness, which for us at this hotel was great! Thanks again IHG Fort Jackson staff!
