Excellent stay! The staff is super friendly and helpful The lobby has a cool zen vibe with several tables to chill The rooms are spacious, very clean and super comfortable

They do a lot of little things that make this a special place Bath mat, laundry hamper, great soaps and lotions, cool decorations all around, just feels like the owners really care about their guestsLocation was great for us, easy to get on the 10 freeway, or just drive down Huntington to LA or PasadenaThe price was super, definitely the best value aroundThank you Spencer, Lydia, Jessica, Randy, and the rest of the fantastic staff!I can’t wait to stay here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Rooms were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable I always wipe down rooms with Clorox wipes, and I was really pleased to have all my wiped come away clean! Water pressure was great, and the AC worked perfectly I was staying while my SO was at Alhambra Hospital and was happy with how centrally located hotel is to the hospital, stores and food

And their free breakfast was fantastic!!! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a concert at the Rose Bowl, and a friend recommended this hotel for us to stay atAt 1sr we were concerned about the distance, but was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get there from hereThe hotel staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful

The rooms were large and cleanOur room on the top floor, had a small fridge and microwaveThe bed was comfortable and everything look clean, even after checking closelyOur room was quiet from road and other guest even though we faced the streetOur room even had a small balcony, while no chairs to sit on, it was nice in May to open, turn off the A/C and let the fresh cool afternoon/evening air inThey did have free personal items downstairs if need at the front desk (Razors and such)The pool was clean and cold, not heated, but that didn’t bother usThe breakfast is the normal items you’d see at any motel nowadaysOverall al great place to stay

I stayed here for a few nights near the end of July and it was one of the more reasonably priced hotels close to Glendale My stay was enjoyable somewhat and the building is pretty quiet as whole which was nice The tall gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and he helped me during my entire stay

The only 2 complaints I have are the loud beeping sounds that came off from what I believe is the smoke alarm in the room I had a 1 bedroom suite and the room with the bed had a loud beep that goes off every half hour or so That was annoying but it didn’t bother me much but for other people it may be a problem Another issue we had was the mattress for the sofa bed had brown mystery stains, which I had noticed were on the curtains in the same room as well I’m not sure what the stains could be but I would leave it up to the imagination With the stains being there I just ended up folding the sofa bed back into place I didn’t want to make a big fuss out of it nor did I want to have to change rooms, getting the top floor is a rarity for me these days so I just ignored it during my stay Aside from those issues the rooms are pretty clean, much cleaner than other Marriott branded hotels I’ve stayed in The hotel itself is dated but you can tell they are trying to update it with a newer looking bathroom Overall I enjoyed my stay but the issues I had within my room made me lower my star rating for the hotel

Kim Smith

The Courtyard by Marriott is a lovely hotel, who provided a wonderful banquet for our event The room was lovely, buffet food was delicious, and the service superb in the replenishment of the food at the buffet, water and tea at the tables, and clearing of plates after we’d eaten I’m sure that the bar outside the banquet room was well-manned, as well, as it was last year

I just didn’t happen to visit the bar for a drink this year, as I did last year The only reason that I gave it a 4-star, rather than a 5, was because at the end of the night, when I was saying, “Good night” to my friend and her son who were staying there, I said, “Have a peaceful night” Her reply was, “Well, that might be difficult, because this hotel is noisy as hell” They were staying there both Friday and Saturday night, because they live down in Manhattan Beach I didn’t stay there, because I don’t have to drive as far I’m sorry to hear that’s it’s not as peaceful there as it should be

We had a great stay here The loft suite was super cool The hotel is quiet and has the feel of an apartment complex

The area is pretty safe and close to fun things in ArcadiaThe breakfast buffet had tons of options and good coffee Every staff member we encountered here was very friendly and focused on a pleasant experience We had no issues

JR B

I got a ground floor room & the thing I didn’t like was I could hear the people talking outside & footsteps from the top floor as they were getting to leave But it’s clean Room is spacious with comfortable bed, but TV was a little smaller

Breakfast is good, but they ran out fast & didn’t replenish it as quickly Staff was helpful, friendly & accommodating Area was convenient & accessible to a lot of eateries

Benjamin W

Stayed here on a Friday night for one night only and that’s probably a good thing For a Marriott brand hotel, I was pretty disappointed I have a high level Bonvoy Marriott level and this is the first hotel to deny a complimentary upgrade

Not a huge deal as I was only staying one night The room is mediocre for Marriott The walls were splattered with stains, cabinetry was worn down to the wood, a couple recessed lights were partially hanging out of the ceiling, the exterior door didn’t shut very well, couch looked well used, and some of the lights didn’t work Breakfast was your typical continental I did like that everything, including the hot items, were individually wrapped I hate seeing other people grab at the serving spoons only to have it fall into the bacon! However, the packaged food had a bit of that packaged wrapped taste that you get when you eat an instant microwaved burrito Overall, still better than a typical Wyndham brand hotel but definitely not up to Marriott standards

We were very happy with our stay here Our room and kingbed were comfortable, and there was ample furniture (even a regular size table and two chairs) to spread our stuff out on Great bathroom – Jet blast toilet (no clogging!) and super clean (tile grout and tub caulk were bright white, no mold or other issues)

Room was relatively quiet though highway noise could be heard due to location Very friendly staff (kudos to Jody in the breakfast room for her cheerful greeting and overall attentiveness) We’re on a cross country drive and this was one of the best hotels in its class that we’ve stayed at

Laura Corbin

Better than the Best Western right next to it but not worth the price They do take AAA though for a discount Bad location but had to be there for work

Definitely not a vacation spot but very good for what was needed Room had a microwave, mini fridge, two comfortable beds, AC, a coffee maker, hair dryer in the bathroom, l It’s of light and curtains for night and a nice TV Staff was great and catered to a wake up call

Nice place, very clean and nice smellsThe breakfast is very simple but okay and the parking lot for approx 27$ per night is also fine

Staff was trying to be friendly but didn’t succeed I did not get the feeling that we were taken seriously and every question we had was annoying for the staffTwo examples: The towels at the pool were empty so my friend went downstairs to reception The ‘help’ she got was the note that there would be a rack with towels Obviously the rack was empty and we were lucky to have house keeping running around on the same floor and got towels from themSecond example: House keeping had to be requested 24h in advance We didn’t get informed about this at the check in but okay This is not something unusual for the US We stayed in total for 4 nights and after 2 nights we wanted at least fresh towels So we scheduled an appointment for the next day However, when we got back we only found a notice on the floor saying that housekeeping wasn’t possible due to high demandThis frankly is unacceptable and impudent After all, the ‘rent’ per night is fairly highWith better service I’d rate the facility much higher

Austin Rasmussen

We stayed last night, using a free night with our Bonvoy points Good location near freeway and plenty of restaurants to walk to Our room was clean and spacious

Nice kitchen area with working appliances THANK YOU for being dog friendly Our dog adjusted nicely and the employees were very nice to him (and us!) Even gave him a treat at the front deskThe breakfast was very good and there’s nice areas to sit The lady working that area that morning was super friendly and made sure everyone was doing well She’s awesome!Only complaints:• thermostat was a bit confusing Even with instructions We got it working but it was very low strength to cool the room- breakfast ended a bit early (9am)- pull out couch bed was very uncomfortable We also heard other guests complaint about it

Tatsuo Suki

This Residence Inn in Pasadena is a nice hotel for both short and extended stays The room that we stayed in was clean and had no issues with it The staff were nice and accommodating with requests that you may have

The breakfast is still a “grab and go” type of breakfast due to COVID but they do have ready-made oatmeal with all the toppings you want, which is great The giant chess set on site is rather fun to play with and the pool is typical of a Residence Inn pool – which is located outdoors, 2nd floorAll in all, a nice stay and will definitely be back to visit

Very comfortable rooms with excellent service overall The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because when we checked in the room had not been cleaned properly There was spilled rice on the carpet and a light bulb missing in a lamp

This was promptly fixed but it makes one wonder about attention to detail as this is not a cheap hotel For the rest of our stay the housekeeping was excellent We found the valet service quite fast and enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast

Aron Hughes

If you are visiting the LA area and are looking for a safe and comfortable stay than this is a solid optionYou are going to get the amenities that you need (unless you need dry cleaning on Memorial Day weekend)The rooms were standard with a mostly clean facilities

The bed and pillows were not the most comfortableStaying here requires you to Valet park your car every time which can get annoying if you are in and out like we wereThe restaurant serves basics for high prices and it would be beneficial to go out for breakfast or dinnerAlthough they state the coffee cart is open at 6, we were unable to get coffee in the morning before heading to DisneylandMy suggestion would be stay here if you need a comfortable and affordable option

Lauree martin

This Hilton might be the worst Hilton you can stay at The hotel is loud, dirty, and has homeless people hanging out inside The staff is some of the rudest people I have ever experienced at any hotel

The rooms are old, dirty, and small; you can hear everything outside your room all night The breakfast that was once free now is not, the valet is expensive, and it takes about 45min to get your car I’ve had better experiences at a Motel 6 Save your time and money and stay anyplace but here

Very overpriced low-end dive Demanded and extra $10000 for us to pay with a debit card

They claimed they would mail the $10000 back some time in the future The continental breakfast was a joke A guy in a room behind a window, you have to ask, “do you have any sweetrolls?” He brings one Then you have to ask for coffee Then you have to ask for cream or sugar What a joke!!!!!

Fil M

Tl;dr: the charm is a facade, the area is next to a loud, busy street, and the bed is ancientThe “charm” stops in the lobby where you book a room I called ahead to ask for vacancies and gave me a quote

Once I head in, the woman who gave me the quote pretends she didn’t talk to me over the phone and gives me a more expensive quote My boyfriend steps in to ask her to honor the original quote and she plays dumb gives us a “discount” We end up regretting staying here bc this place is just a bunch of dusty junk in the rooms and and old beds with no consideration for comfort Continental breakfast was mentioned until 10am, but by 9:30am, it was all being packed up Never returning

I have to say the location and amenities are good But service is below expectationThe room does not have hair dryer

We went to and called the front desk to request one, the front desk asked us to check closet every time, though we have already checkedAt the time I’m writing the review, the hair dryer is still not delivered after 45 min, and my hair is already dryHonest advice: consider bringing your OWN hair dryer if you don’t have a lot of time waiting them to deliver to your room

Love the location and especially love the design of the hotel and the new hotel smell that radiates throughout the property! It unfortunately also came with new hotel problems! Namely the pools and workout equipment For some reason the pool didn’t have enough chlorine in it and to the point the employee had to close it manually with no closed sign Workout equipment also didn’t turn on and using the weight machines felt like they were about to pop and break gears any moment

At least the room was a lot better with fast wifi and very comfortable beds and sheets! And even a bidet!Checking was very easy with the person popping into existence as soon as you approach the desk!

ShawntéAshley Lewis

I’ve stayed at this property a few times… Every time, the rooms; (cleanliness and comfort) are a 9/10, restaurant food, front desk Representatives; and even their security over exceeded my expectations! No matter the tone of day, checking in is always a breeze, the young ladies/gentlemen at desk are always a delight…One particular evening though; i checked in rather late after work, and had the pleasure of having Joshua check me in… Joshua went far past above and beyond w/his Marriott way of handling things… Thank you Joshua for making me feel happy to have come back, because of service like Joshua, I remain Marriott Loyal!🙌🏾♾🙏🏾

This place has gone downhill in just 2 years Updated on May 1st 20221

The room I was given was on the 4th floor after asking the clerk Originally it was 2nd or 3rd with loud neighbors just a good guess since this property fits that standard2 The room smells very old3 I think they actually remodeled one room to the newer style Holiday Inns (that they actually use in pictures) My room is very old compared to rooms at other Holiday InnsThese rooms are very dark from 2000-20064 WARNING! EXTREMELY HIGH DEPOSITS HEREA This motel authorizes $15000 to your credit/or debit card here above the price of the room, and taxB The authorization will take 10 business days to be removed *Check your account to be sure the property doesn’t post the charge to your account rather than release it after 10 long business daysC The average Holiday Inn authorizes anywhere from $1000 per night, to $3000 per night Anything above $5000 is outrageous for a motel chain Holiday Inn is a motel chainThis is unfair to the leisure, or business travelerI would not recommend this property unless you get a very cheap price under $7500 The property again is very old, the hallways are old, the carpets are old, and the rooms smellI never can understand how a Holiday Inn justifies authorization to a guests credit/or debit card for $150 when this is a motel, not a hotel that has room serviceStay somewhere else I will never stay here againI happened to be unable to cancel my stay due to using points to stay hereAlways call the motel in advance to verify the depositIt’s funny, the more I travel for work, the worse the Holiday Inn’s get From noise, fights, weed, loud parties, and homeless people It’s very sadSleeping in my company car seems like a much better choice then this smelly propertyI have requested that my company allow my team to stay at a better brand IHG is horrible

Philip George

This hotel is the worst one I have ever stayed 1 the rooms are very very old and smells bad too

2 the environment looks very dirty probably because it’s very old, and it still looks very dirty no matter how you clean 3 the service at front desk needs a lot of improvement, they told one thing yesterday and totally forgot it today Be away from such a bad hotel if you want to have a good night

Gorav Vig

Bad customer service at front desk Reserved 4 nights with points, however on last day front desk told me I have to pay for last day Some confusion happened, however front desk did not help or care to help

Next day, I talked to manager and she did not seem to care about bad customer expierience either Never want to stay in a place where employees don’t care about customer service

Small run down room A disclaimer, we booked through Hotels Tonight and this may be the reason we got the room we got I did peek in open doors and there are nice sized rooms with porches

The positive: friendly people good breakfast and not bad location However: No hot water, lukewarm showers and gave up on hot water from sink TV lost the cable signal The windows had tape on them staying “do not open” Cracks in bathroom walls and ceiling Tiny metal baker’s rack next to pedestal sink so no where to put toiletries The lotion and body wash appeared partially used No parking when we arrived back at 10 pm Traffic noise which may have have to do with room location on corner We were excited about coming to this place from the photos and reviews, so we were sad with our experience

Absolutely wonderful and charming Bed and Breakfast nestled a bit up the mountainside with great views of South Pasadena and well beyond

Incredibly excellent cooking for breakfast every morning — coffee is top notch and there’s tea too A 3-story “Craftsman” style house where every room is great Piano and bar in lobby area Walk up 1 or 2 floors at most Quiet

This hotel is gorgeous! The showers are very relaxing, the bed and pillows are comfy, the ballroom is great for weddings, and the courtyard and pool are a nice plus The front desk was very friendly It is expensive but worth the price, I loved visiting, all of the nearby food definitely adds to the overall experience! However-The Chinese food served at the hotel is amazing! There is a Starbucks in the hotel which is very convenient since tap water is not very good and there are several grocery stores nearby

I wish this hotel had a hot tub or sauna, we didn’t realize by spa they meant something else entirely, which we always look for in a pool but that is the only thing I was missing!

Fehi Mataele

Everytime my family and I stay in LA for a family function this is the perfect hotel!! Everyone that works there gives great service and very attentive to all your needs Ivan who works at front desk is my favorite! He makes us feel like we are back home in Hawaii with his excellent customer service feeling so much Aloha!! We had to ask if he was an island boy & he said he has poly friends so he understands our culture!! Marriott/Sheraton needs to recognize employees like Ivan that go above & beyond to make you feel welcome ! Love the entire front desk staff, always courteous & helpful The staff also from room service are quick & prompt and food they serve is delicious!! Appreciate the Housekeeping staff always quick to respond for extra supplies!! Great job to the management that runs this beautiful hotel!! Yes the rooms are beautiful and beds are beyond comfortable!’ Our family is looking forward to another visit to this hidden gem!!

This Hotel give us a 5 stat experience The staff was super helpful and kind The room was amazing

Get an inside room the views to the outside are not that pleasant The second floor rooms are to the pool courtyard However they have high ceilings They have robots that pick up linen and garbage in the mornings Choose a room number around 200- 225 or 270-260 so the walk from the elevator isn’t so long Parking was all day in-outs and there is a Starbucks attached to the hotel Sign up for Marriott rewards if you don’t have them

Location was quite and safe Room was spacious , bed and sofa were comfy Tv channels were really good

Coffee was a plus We needed laundry , reception helped us to use the laundry of neighbor hotel with which they had agreement Reception helped us by check-in and Ac replacement It was very good to be able to open windows in the room to get fresh airAir condition was very noisy, 1st night hardly slept but the mechman has replaced a new Ac in 20 min Breakfast could be maybe better Breakfast area hardly enough

Zakwan Nasser

Priced well and located near the mall and other major stores Only half an hour away from the heart of LA Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is they don’t provide housekeeping services on weekends

Although not the biggest issue, staying for 4 days (3 nights), housekeeping is sometimes desired on at least one of those days However, they do provide extra towels or toiletries, but you have to go to the front desk to request them, which was fortunately easy and convenient They also offer a slightly later checkout at noon which was a major plus

Spring Hill Suites by Marriott was a great stay for us We stayed here for one night and it was quite pleasant The suite was huge and had all the amenities we needed in the room (a microwave and compact fridge)

The bed was firm but soft The restroom was clean and bright The sitting area was comfortable, roomy and rather relaxing There was even a desk area for us to put our laptops and do a little work that evening On the opposite wall of the desk is a little coutertop space that we used for the snacks we had with us However, the best perk about this stay was the hot breakfast they offered the next morning Everything from make your own waffles, to scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, toast, cereal, warm muffins, sausage links, apple and orange juices, cow milk, and coffee as well as an assortment of fresh fruits and yogurt I will definetly be back to this establishment when I’m in the area and need a clean, quite place to lay my headOnly issue I had here was that that didn’t offer almond milk Can’t satisfy all the people all the timeright!?

There’s probably a staff shortage We checked in at around 9:30pm There was nobody at the front desk

Waited for about five minutes to get help The hotel remodeling seemed to have finished While most furnishing looks new, the bathtub is old with much stain and scratches The building structure might be too old Can hear every step of residence the floor above When the resident above rolls luggage on floor, it sounds like a truck is running aboveBreakfast is good

Stayed here for a week in Spring 2022 The property was undergoing a remodel I was in a room that had just been finished

While everything was “new” the plumber had messed up the water pipes in the shower, so cold was hot and hot was cold After getting past that snafu, the place was decent Its not the easiest to get to from the interstate, but it can be done Its quite enough given its location next to the metro and interstate Breakfast was hot and good, and the cookies fresh in the evening Staff was friendly and courteous Housekeeping was up to snuff

I’m only giving one star because I can’t give zero My entire stay at this hotel was terrible from start to end When we first arrived we were given a room that was not cleaned

We walked in and the room was turned upside down The new room we were given was across from a gas station so it was loud all night We were told we have to request 24hrs prior for our room to be cleaned or towels I scheduled for fresh towels and never received them When I called to inquire I was told we were never added to the list The rooms were poorly light The air conditioner also broke in the middle of the night All of these combined made the hotel stay bad However the icing on the cake was when someone came into my room without permission Our suitcases were ransacked Personal items pulled out Jewelry gone through and $100 stolen I immediately reported this to the front desk A “report” was taken and I was told to expect a follow up call Saturday When I called to follow up the manager on duty had no idea of my complaint and I now I have to wait until Monday for the general manager to investigate The hotel employees are thieves and the management is awful A trip ruined by their lack of service Never go here unless you want to be robbed!

Highly recommend this location Then only reason for loosing a star is no real blankets and the hours for cafe etc are not the best Great staff , nice facility and great location

Some things are really dated but understand that with the way things are resources are limited We have stayed multiple times and will definitely be back especially because we get to bring our fur baby with us and the great restaurants, bars and shops walking distance away Highly recommend

1st room we were given has wet red spots all over the carpet Looked like they tried cleaning it but it was really wet still The ac was horrible and the room was just dirty looking

We asked for a different room and that room was great Not sure why they still book people in a dirty room with no ac when they have others available Also had to get the bill adjusted because they charged for parking when the site we booked on said free parking Pool is not as amazing as pictures make it out to be BUT great location within walking distance to lots of restaurants

I was having trouble finding a hotel that would accommodate an early morning meeting I would be having via Zoom I was traveling with my family and didn’t want to wake them up by taking it in my room After looking into multiple hotels in the area, this was the first one that told me I could use a conference room without any issues even though it would be just myself using the room

The staff was super helpful (dealt with multiple staff members) and friendly the entire stayThe beds are comfortable and the rooms are “roomy” 😁 The only semi-issue I had was that the room wasn’t completely clean, but it was clean enough

The rooms were small, but super clean and well kept The location is PERFECT and there are very many good restaurants, bars, freeways, coffee shops, places to shop, etc

in the area The staff was super accommodating and said “hello” or “good morning” whenever you went bye They had drinks, snacks, and beer available for you downstairs Had a good breakfast and coffee in the morning Nice lounge area to chill if you needed to be out of your room or a place to eat your own food TV’s were accessible as well I wish they would return to regular room service Scheduling I’m advance can be a pain, but it’s easy to work with them on that

This was my second visit booked a room for 5 days as I was a guest here In August 2021 for about 4 days Things changed a bit and mostly had to do with my allergies to dogs I felt like perhaps they should have a separate area are floor for dogs Management showed some understanding but besides the dogs I felt that the hotel could use some sprucing my carpet was stained and the Aggie of the property was beginning to show

The bed was comfy and staff was friendly Location was good because you could walk to Metro!

My stay was a little under three weeks This place is a tale of two cities I realized after some time that this location is definitely in a transitional phase

I saw another comment that perhaps it was a different motel before and was taken over by Comfort InnSo let me start with the Positive: The bed is a dream Very comfortable The wifi was perfect Good place to do online work actually as there is a nice desk and comfy work chair Washer/dryer/gym/business center (in lobby) on site Very clean and sanitized The gym had the most essential equipment needed I really don’t think the gym is getting much use anyway so don’t think anyone has to worry about germs The cleaning lady told me they come in and sanitize at 830am every morning Washer and dryer clean and dry perfectly There is a pool, but did not use it Also there is continental breakfast with some basic choices The next day after checking in the parking lot was fully repaved The ladies who do housekeeping are the golden queens of this places Some clean better than others of course, but they are there early keeping up the whole facility and cleaning service is everyday I am always sure to show them respect The price is pretty good but I guess it would be since there is a lot of transitioning going on The room as a whole has luxury style upgrades but over patchwork plaster where there still needs to be some painting done There is an old mixed with new feel But generally the room had a homely feel Microwave and larger fridge was very niceOkay so the disadvantages Like I said the price is good for all that is offered on site, and if you are going to stay now just know that changes are being made The crowd is a mixed bag Sometimes it is very quiet and then at night it can get a little noisy It seems to me that a Code of Conduct needs to be strictly enforced There were a lot of people not respecting rules adults and kids alike I was gone for one night visiting my sister and came back the next night to find that my room had flood and the tub was filled with black water It was also the room below me that was damaged as well Thankfully the worker that night did the right thing by moving me to another room that was very close No issues with the second room Also one night was discounted for the mishap and all was fine at checkout Customer service needs a lot of help Water pressure in shower could be more

Four stars because the rooms, lobby and breakfast room are very clean and modern The hotel has clearly been updated It’s an older place

The amenities in the room are very good I was particularly pleased with the larger refrigerator with a good sized freezer Free hot breakfast is available until 10 am Plentiful hot breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs (probably powdered eggs), boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, bread and a toaster, oranges and bananas The breakfast room requires key entry and is small, so consider taking breakfast back to your room if there are no tables availableStaff is friendly and very helpful

This hotel was good for us because the room was clean The bed was very comfortable The air conditioning worked like a charm at 38 degrees Celsius

There was lots of food stores in very close proximity and even a Walgreens The pool was small and had some bugs in it but when it’s that hot you love it anyways The staff were friendly The breakfast was lacking, super small room with only a couple tables, scrambled eggs, tiny sausage patties, cold cereal, tiny muffins, fruit, and waffle iron There is a denny’s down the street
