This is an older Courtyard but it has been updated and appears to be well maintained The staff is attentive and I have actually had housekeeping service for the three days I was there The gym is larger than most hotel gyms and they have a nice outdoor area part of the original Courtyard design

The bistro offers Starbucks in the morning and a reasonable dinner menu at night My only complaint is there is a lot highway and airplane flyover noise (path of DFW)

Lisa Landon

I stayed due to us having Regional meetings for work They took great care of us We stayed 2 to a room

The vanity was small, so only one of us could brush teeth, put on makeup, fix hair, etc The rooms were nice, clean and the beds were comfortable We had 2 meeting rooms, and lunch was provided each day, and was good They have a bar in the lobby, and a free shuttle that took us to our dinner location

Steven Long

This is a fine place to flop for a night if you want to be close to the airport It’s definitely an older hotel, but seems pretty well keptThe staff we met with were all very nice

If you stay there, you can park and fly from there for $20, which is pretty amazing The shuttle was beat up and seems like it could use some suspension work, but the drivers were nice and knew where they were going so definitely $20 well spentWhen we needed to be picked up upon return, they got there super fast and had the same good serviceMy main gripe with this place is that our room stank Sort of mix between old, musty hotel and cat pee Or maybe like rotten fruit Hard to describe Not sure if all the rooms had this or just ours We didn’t want to change rooms because it was really late and our kiddo was already crashedI’m giving this place 3 stars because of the smell, the age of the property, and because it’s pretty much just a plain hotel with good service If you’re just going to the airport, the location is perfect If you’re doing much else, it’s not a great spot

I would definitely recommend this hotel!! The room was clean, big, bed was comfortable, shower water was hot and the breakfast was good There should have been more options but it was good The staff was nice, professional, and helpful

Housekeeping cleaned my room while I was gone and that was amazing!! I stay in different hotels each week that I’m in Dallas and this is the first hotel that cleaned my room since Covid

Deanna Swenson

Disappointed with Hotel considering it is a Hilton chain Room was very hot when we arrived & never cooled off Hotel was tidy but hallways & elevators had trash scattered in areas

Only 2 wash cloths in a room Location was great & front desk help was very kind & welcoming Arrived after 10 pm so we didn’t request help with air conditioning Thought it might cool off but never did Didn’t sleep well in the hot room

Eman Sherif

My stay here was amazing! The rooms are clean, the area is quiet, and the view wasn’t bad at all! The hallways are kinda humid, and only one elevator operates The breakfast was okay, and it was nice because it was a free all you can eat buffet in the lobby from 5am to 10am In conclusion, I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Dallas!!

Our stay was magnificent! The hotel was very clean, close to restaurants and stores, just minutes away from Downtown Dallas The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied and provided friendly customer service Huge shout out to Jennifer the Front Desk associate who is the sweetest from the time we checked in to check out

She made sure we had a wonderful room during our stay which was my birthday trip Also, a huge shout out to the hotel manager Jackie, very friendly customer service and she made you feel so welcomed Thank you!

Christina

I was here for a business conference It was clean, well kept and nicely decorated It’s in a fantastic location, near DFW airport and major roads

The food served dor our meeting was okay, but did provide a lot should you be hungryIf you had a craving or need for headache medicine, etc, there is a small area for purchase of those items Candy bars start at $3Overall, this is a nice hotelThe restrooms were clean

Paul

It’s average Management needs to train all staff better Do kids eat free at breakfast or not

Why does my room rate include only breakfast for 1 but I have 2 adults and 2 children Isn’t the rate based on 4 occupants?Stayed there a month Never asked for room clean as we did it our self The one time we asked for room clean they didn’t change the sheets and didn’t vacuumed Lazy

My experience at this hotel was incredible! The shuttle picked me up seamlessly from the airport upon my arrival My suitcase zipper broke and the staff fixed it for me The rooms were spacious, very clean and peaceful

Gym was sufficient for a hotel gym and breakfast was good also! Will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend!

Jess Lynn

My friends and I were able to book the same day we needed to stay after our horrible experience at a different hotel we were supposed to have a booking at We went through Bookingcom and once we arrived shortly after booking, they got us our hotel keys and into our room without a single issue! The front desk staff were wonderfully polite and made the experience very easy and comfortable, and checking out on the 5th was just as easy

The room was very clean and the beds were comfy, it was a great place to relax and escape the Texas heat and the commute from this hotel to the Irving Convention Center was fairly short which is a huge plus for my group! Room service was very polite and in general, our stay ended up being very pleasant on all fronts We will be coming back the next time we need to book a hotel in Irving!

Brittany Jackson

I’ve stayed here for 2 weeks and I don’t have any of the issues I’ve read from others ! Except for the mildew smell in the front when you walk in but that has been remedied The housekeeping is impeccable and I love the breakfast I’ve been helped with fees as well as it relates to my pets

I have no need to use the shuttle but if I did I do understand there’s times where a driver is not available but that’s happened at other places I have stayed and we just found alternate means of travel and we’re young adults on a budget and we didn’t mind Everyone is friendly I feel at home here

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure! The young man checking us in was so helpful and funny The bartender that evening, I wish I knew their names, was very nice The hotel was just what we wanted! It was very clean That will definitely be my go-to hotel when I am in Irving Dallas

Super old, dated hotel Terrible beds Pretty sure the mattresses are from 1990

Furniture in rooms and common spaces showed visible signs of wear Bathroom sink in room didn’t have hot water I had to get down under the vanity and adjust the hot water valve to remedy the situation From the corrosion on the valves I wonder how many guests suffered through this in the past Fitness center had dated free weights, too Towels in rooms were also far past their prime Lighting in rooms is terrible My profile for Marriott is high floor, non smoking, away from elevator I got none of those options during this stay Perhaps the floor was non smoking but it definitely had a smoke smell permeating throughout Will not stay at this place again Only redeeming factor was nice staff behind the front desk

Sal M

This hotel is an “old girl” that has been refurbished, but not that recently It is old, tired and has issues Mainly for me, the AC was not working and the room smelled of mildew/mold

The staff is great and quickly moved me to a room across the hall which was very convenient While the AC is a situation that can happen at any time, that smell should have been corrected It’s very noticeable My new room was much better

I ended up here by accident (cancelled flight and issued a room here) and it was the highlight of my trip so far The shuttle driver and every employee I have met have been so warm, welcoming and above and beyond kind Truly a breath of fresh air for how customer service has turned in the US since Covid

The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was truly the best one I’ve ever had! Next time I will be staying here as my first choice

Chris Foreman

Got billeted here due to a missed connecting flight at DFW The front desk and shuttle drivers were extremely knowledgeable about the airport and had no problem getting me from the pick up to the hotel and back to the exact gate I needed The room was nice, I did detect a smell in the hall that I can only describe as “slightly dirty vagina” but I’m into that so I consider it a feature rather than a bug

My only gripe at all is most of the dining options were across the highway There was a red lobster right next door but no fast food places

We actually stayed at this hotel for a family member’s wedding Our stay was incredibly nice! The front desk and bar was always filled with awesome, friendly & helpful staff The rooms were great, as well as, comfortable making for a great sleep

We were actually provided 2 adjoining rooms due to the original room I booked not being available, which was fantastic! The wedding was decorated beautifully and every guest was treated with respect, kindness and able to fully enjoy a special evening The breakfast was always hot and tasted great and the spa in the pool area was fantastic, very relaxing and warm!!!This hotel was wonderful and provided an excellent atmosphere filled with warmth and happiness while providing beautiful Christmas decors from your balcony view to make for a great place to celebrate New Years Eve!

Please DO NOT STAY HERE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!We booked this hotel for one night, based on the reviews, which by the way, all those positive reviews are employees or friends reviewing their own business, because the quality of this hotel is a true hazard and a liability at this point The booking and friendliness of the staff was no issue this time, but the hotel had a cheap look overall We booked this hotel for one night, and two families stayed in two different rooms, both rooms were smelly, you can tell there was some water damage under the carpet because of the smell

The pillows were comfy, that’s the only reason why i gave them one star, but everything else was just outdated, SMELLY and for the love of God, someone needs to shut down their POOL and redo the whole entire thing from scratch The chlorine in the pool was just outrageous, the jacuzzi did not work at all !! i really wish i would taken pictures to be honest Just by sitting near the jacuzzi your eyes will water from the chlorine The floor of the pool has dirt visible from the outside, and its not smooth at all, we all came out of there with scratches and our skin felt disgusting from all the chlorine It was truly heartbreaking since the pool was very important for our kids My son was sick after being in the pool I’m pretty sure it was due to the conditions of the water On top of it all, breakfast is $16 per person more!!! I walked by just to see if it was worth it, and lets just say i am glad we did not have from there I wished at least one of the reviews from this hotel was completely honest, because it would of save me and my family from staying here AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS!!

Taya Zagurski

Upon checking in, there was a bug in my shower I wasn’t overly concerned about that so I didn’t mention it to the staff (it happens) I was there for business so I wasn’t in my room much

After returning at the end of the day, I spotted another bug that had crawled out of where the carpet met the bathroom tile I then noticed black spots all over my sheets and pillows I immediately checked for bedbugs but did not see any obvious signs Still concerned, I brought one of the pillows to the front desk to show them and request a new room They moved me to the room directly across the hall and reported they would have someone up there to inspect Thinking someone would be there immediately, I left the door hinge between the door to keep it propped open The next morning, the door was still propped open – indicating no one had been there to check For this reason, I became concerned about the overall cleanliness of this hotel and would not recommendI would say, the breakfast was really good and the employees who manage the buffet are incredibly friendly and kind!

Off the Clock – Off the Map

Not bad, but I would not stay there againThe room looked decent upon entry, but there was an overwhelming odor of mold or mildew I bought a car air freshener and clipped it to the air conditioner just to try to cover the smell enough to breathe a little

(We noticed that the hotel had done the same thing on a unit in the hallway too)Ceiling peeling in a couple places Several screws half out (caught my finger/nail several times) Shower unit was missing screws entirely Weird tissue box setup (see pics)The hanging light fell twice We could see that the threads were stripped and realized that it only hangs when wedged on an angleThe mini coffee pot malfunctioned and went up in smoke – and I mean the literally ***Ahh, the refreshing blended smell of mildew and electrical fire*** It looked as though the interior had not been cleaned in a long long Staff did replace it with a brand new unit within minutes, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but I wasn’t about to test my luck on this second unit at that pointThe part that really surprised us was the bed spread We had never seen anyone use a flat sheet, covered with a comforter, then cover that with a second flat sheet When we peeled back the top sheet, we realized that the comforter was riddled with rips and holes of all sizesAfter finding all this within the first 2 nights of our week-long stay, I guess we should not have been surprised that the quality of the continental breakfast was pour They had a decent selection and presentation, but microwaved meats and bagels so dry they were almost inedible is not a great start to your dayAnd then we found their tea!!! Wingate, you made a great choice in tea! I had never heard of Farmer Brothers tea before Y’all now have me actively seeking out a Farmer Brothers tea supplier back home That was a great little Easter egg to findOverall, the staff was nice, everything seemed pretty well cleaned Not the worst place we have stayed Sadly, I can’t say this would be my top recommendation for anyone visiting the areaIf you stay here, bring your own tissues, air freshener and hair dryer (they don’t have hair dryers either) And just plan to carefully watch what you do when you’re trying to relax in your room at the end of the day

Jackie Neville

Absolutely fabulous experience with Ronny (GM) and his staff! Just co-coordinated a trip for 100+ to an event for the weekend in the the area Ronny was so helpful in making sure everything went smoothly, and willing to answer any and all questions Truly went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations! The hotel was clean and well kept, and easy to get around

My only disappointment was not getting to thank Ronny in person for all he did! If we are back in the area I will not hesitate to stay again!

Karina Patel

My friends and I stayed here for a night out, and it was amazing! It was not far from the airport and downtown Dallas The staff was amiable The room was nice, spacious (we got a king bed), and very clean

The bed was very comfy, and it was tranquil at nightI asked the front desk for more toiletries, and they brought a bunch within minutes They also asked if we needed anything else The service was terrificIf we ever find ourselves in Dallas again, we will definitely be staying here 5/5 stars!

It’s a good place to sleep It seemed pretty clean We got a room with 2 beds

Comes with a mini fridge and microwave The double doors to the bathroom was hard to close and open, some of the plugs in the room didn’t work as well (We tried all the light switches) They have a pool and hot tub with a gazebo off to the side Free breakfast and check out at 12pm Close to restaurants and a Mall We had a nice stay

Candi and Levi Smith

Great location Awesome room The service wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible

However, the owner was very attentive to guests The shuttle to the shuttle is very convenient The driver was excellent The pool area is beautiful The breakfast was nice However, they ran out of eggs and sausage 30 minutes before closing and it was difficult to get them to make more when though there were several families waiting They did bring me a semi-frozen omelet for me to reheat in my microwave It wasn’t horrible

I would be extremely careful trusting this hotel with you debit card I came into the area for work and my company provided and paid for the hotel room in full before my arrival The employees at check-in asked for my card to put on file for incidentals, I assumed this was protocol even though my company had already paid for the room in full and their card was the primary card to be charged

I then wake up to a $480 pending charge on my account When I asked the employee I checked in with (Michael) he was not helpful in any sense of the word and said they do not know what amount is charged for incidentals and it should be cleared at checkout When I asked if there was anything I can do, since my company has their card on file He responded “What do you want me to tell you?” Fortunately the amount was canceled and I was able to return home for the weekend in a comfortable state of mind The following week my company brought me out again for work However for this week, this hotel put three pending charges on my account totaling approximately $1,900 When I called to ask about this, a different employee said that shouldn’t have happened and they would take care of it A day later unfortunately charges for $1,200 went through This left me with a negative bank account balance with no money to pay bills which negatively affected my credit score, and no money to eat during my work trip so I had to depend on my amazing coworkers to buy me food Of course my next step was to speak to whoever has the highest authority at this hotel But another unfortunate circumstance, the general manager doesn’t come in until 9:00 am at this point I would have already been at work for 3 hours, due to my 12-hour work days, so I cannot speak to him in person And I think it speaks for itself, that through these last two weeks, the GM could have called my work phone which they have on file to try to sort this out I did not receive any phone call from him At the time I am writing this review, it will be Thursday of my second week I would usually not write a review before my stay is completed but no resolution from this unfortunate situation la Quinta has put me through will change my opinion

Has old and tired decor, also a simple cafe for breakfast in the morning The rooms are basic and require modernisation There is a pool and a small gym

The persons at the hotel are friendly and very helpful I really liked the persons serving at the cafe and also the persons at the front desk

Tyra Devereaux

This hotel gets zero stars!!They need to work on their custoner service It starts at the service deskFirst an African American lady name Kimara was there and I asked her how she was doing And she said oh just trying to study for my finals

I’d be fired if I was doing that at work She was not friendly or cordial There was an issue with the code I used and the agent was aware of this but she did not help me with it and did NOT apologize for the inconvenience I also showed her my paper license and she did not hand it back right away so I forgot it and when I was checking out early I then told the male agent that she did not give my license back and he said it is hereThis hotel needs to be remodeled It is outdated The elevators are ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HALL!!! Oh I called to speak with the CEO or GM Nick and of course he took the side of his agent In my opinion, they both need to work on their customers serviceWon’t ever go back there I expected a Marriott to have excellent service and everything, but not this one!!! They are uncaring and they should be like in the oil field or something where they don’t have to try to assist patrons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Help and kindness goes a very long way but Courtyard Marriott Dallas Las Colinas know nothing about that!! I had to enter one star to be able to continue but ZERO STARS FROM ME

Hotel is under construction so the whole front entrance is closed That’s not a problem as they are working to make the hotel better When my family and I checked in around 5pm on Friday evening, the front desk attendant didn’t give us our breakfast coupons(we didn’t know this at the time)

So the next morning (Saturday) trying to get breakfast I had to deal with this with the front desk and breakfast staff Then again on Sunday morning I dealt with itAlso I asked for a 30 minute late check-out and was told I couldn’t get a late check-outRooms were pretty good Hotel was clean

I had a horrible experience with this hotel during last winterI booked a hotel room close to the airport in Dallas—a room with free airport shuttle and a great Indian restaurant nearby, for a quick overnight stay with the charitable non-profit for which I work The room was fully paid ahead with a business credit card—not just a “credit card on file”—in order to receive a discount

I arrived as planned, after waiting a lengthy hour for the free shuttle ride from the airport I arrived to find that they sold my fully prepaid room out from under me—with ZERO advance notice for which the front desk barely halfheartedly apologized So they sent me to the Las Colinas—miles further into Dallas away from the airport—about which this review reportsAt the Las Colinas, no one would recognize my reservation sent from the first hotel Desperate for a bit of sleep, I gave my personal credit card number so that I would simply have a place to stay, in faith that the cost would be sorted out later In the morning, neither the Las Colinas nor the first hotel would pay for an airport shuttle–which cost far more than planned now that I was farther from the airport than planned In the morning, the clerk wouldn’t give me a receipt but said it would be emailed And when, back at home after long flights, I found the receipt, it was charged for the amount I had prepaid at the first hotel PLUS $17 extra (before taxes) AND it was a duplicate charge on the same business credit card that they couldn’t look up the night before Very fishy; very dishonest; and totally not okayIt took about a dozen calls and emails to the managers at both hotels, neither of which were very responsive (the first hotel was responsive once, and after that not at all) It took about a dozen phone calls to Hilton’s US Customer service to get them to put a “case” in place toward getting the charges and refunds straightened out—the duplicate charge lowered by $17, the duplicate charge taken off the credit card, the $35 shuttle fee reimbursed, etc Why the hotel itself couldn’t and wouldn’t refund the money is beyond me—especially since they were able to charge credit cards they said they didn’t have, and for fees beyond what was promised The Hilton national offices had to issue the refund, and promised it would show up on the credit card statement within one week After I thought it was a lost cause, the refund finally showed up 8 weeks laterThe extra charges might not seem like huge numbers, but for a non-profit agency flying me for charitable work, which I accomplished in Dallas, they are major Not only that, but the ethics of services purchased, services rendered, and customer service promises from the hotels, is very important to me I don’t take broken promises lightly when part of a contract between myself as a well-traveled customer and one of the biggest hotel chains in the world I will do everything I can not to patronize a Hilton hotel for a very long timeYes, finally, the second room charge and the shuttle fee were reimbursed, only after many unkept promises along the way How does a hotel chain like Hilton make all of that right? Surely not only by refunding the bare minimum of the extra charges that were THEIR fault Since no one did anything to try to make this right as far as keeping their word, or going above and beyond, I have no reason to stay at a Hilton in the future They treat customers this lightly? There are far better options out there I have traveled all over the world, and everything that happened at the two Hilton properties during those twelve hours was outrageous

S

My only critique is You have to pay for breakfast I feel like if I spend 15000 on a room and I am a Hilton honors member breakfast should be included ! Besides that the hotel was very clean my room was very nice and clean i got some really good sleep and felt comfortable pillows were very soft plus the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful I would definitely come back! I do recommend this place

This home2 has very friendly staff, a shuttle that starts at 710 am Every time I return to Dallas for extended trips, I try to book this hotel because it’s run quite well You can’t beat having a kitchenette and grocery stores nearby that the shuttle can take you to

Ty, Hana, and the other front desk staff do a great job Highly efficient and go above and beyond to meet requests The shuttle drivers are timely and hard working Ulysses makes shuttle rides fun Great driver, conversationIt’s always nice to see hotels that still have great service— somewhat hard to find these daysI’m pretty confused by the negative reviews You’re staying at a Home2 not a Waldorf AstoriaI travel a lot for work, and this home2 is a 10/10 for service, cleanliness, shuttle Thank you home2!

Definitely not impressed at all with this H2S location I’m 75+ nights per year with Hilton and this is one of the weaker locations which I have patronizedI spent one evening at this location as I was participating in an endurance race the next morning and wanted a full size refrigerator and freezer

The exterior of the dishwasher was completely disgusting There is no way I would use the dishes inside There was a dirty knife in the sink when I checked in The headboard had a very interesting substance caked on one end Let your mind wanderThe shower basin was nor secured to the floor and would flex when you stood on the end farthest from the shower headDefinitely the most disappointing Hilton experience this year

I have stayed here a few times I think my favorite feature is the elevator with glass walls I rarely see these elevators at long-term stay oriented hotels, so it was a very nice addition

The hotel is showing some signs of aging, but nowhere near enough to negatively impact a stay They also have an airport shuttle and are within walking distance (10 minute walk max) of multiple restaurants and Walmart Depending on the room, some are larger than others and more conducive to family stays The queen room can fit 3 comfortably, 4 would be a bit crowded

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure!Great breakfast! Huge family rooms Gracious staff! Jennifer at the front desk provided above and beyond service when we had to make an unexpected overnight stay Then to top it off our car wouldn’t start A manager allowed us to borrow jumper cables and another staff member jumped our car! We are SO grateful and thankful for everyone’s help! It took a village and Hyatt Place Las Colinas made it happen 👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️

We got 2 double beds in a suite for about 140 a night (after taxes and fees) It came with a good, hot breakfast, lots of selection (no extra charge) There is a fridge and a coffee maker in the room (makes hot water for tea too) but no microwave

There is one available in the lobby anytimeThe room was clean and the AC/Heat worked wellAll staff were attentive and kindGreat experience overall, no complaints

As always, Hyatt delivers Diane in Sales is truly dedicated and exceptional Earned my business next time any of my employees are in town

The GM, Ms Chowdry, is on top of her game as well You can see their management styles are well accepted because it shows in the staff’s attention to detail in both the rooms and public areas Would recommend to any group in need of a venue that won’t let them down To paraphrase Matthew 25:23 – Well done, good and faithful servant leaders

The hotel it’s self was beautiful and perfect for what we needed I felt like the staff appreciated our Marriott status, and took great care of usWe were with our nephew who wanted to see the planes

The front desk staff set us up in a beautiful room where we could watch the planes landing right over us That being said the building seems to be well insulated and we didn’t have to listen to the planes all nightI was able to catch the shuttle to the airport early in the morning It was a quick, easy, comfortable rideThey do have a beautiful, large lounge for platinum and higher guests, and they are pet friendly

Jacob Tidwell

Overall, it was a regular Westin experience It’s a deceptively large conference space Room was comfortable

The lobby/atrium ceiling opens up 4-5 floors, which made it incredibly loud at all hours for those of us on the end of the hall Most of the interior restaurants were closed or barely/poorly operating, which has become the norm in hotels during the pandemic Staff was exceptional friendly and accommodating Banquet food was wonderful!

Great hotel!Very clean, nice shower, awesome rooftop pool where you can see many airplanes pass byTheir bar is opened until midnight Beer selection might not be too wide, but I liked Dallas local beer

Food was great I ordered salad with salmon, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned!I lived the room somehow the floor was partially dump, but I only stay for a night, so it’s not an issue for me Phone was taken by nobody So I removed one star

My family has always stayed at Staybridge They are by far the best hotel Rooms are always clean

Housekeeping is always attentive Front desk is very responsive And this particular location was great I love that the rooms have a mini kitchen complete with a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher and even pots and pans and eating utensilsWe did have a minor issue with our toilet not flushing but front desk sent maintenance immediately and it was resolved My only complaint was the breakfast Definitely could have been better But overall we enjoyed our stay

Megan LeBeouf

I NEVER leave reviews, but this was the worst experience in a hotel we’ve ever had The first clue should have been the stagnant, hot air in the hall, leading to our room Once in, we attempted to adjust the temperature to cool things down, but it never kicked on

We spoke with the front desk and both rooms that were offered to us were then “taken”, from the time my husband came up to the room to discuss which option we wanted to go with We ended up waking up our kids and leaving at midnight to stay somewhere else If we can help another family out, I’d say this: Word of advice, chose another hotel

Charlie Sanders

I’m late with this review, but I stayed from April 14th-15th, but was charged for the 16th as well because it was after checkout The area and the outside of this hotel does not match the interior The rooms were outdated and Room 318 had mold located in the AC register and the tub (see pictures below)

The AC seemed to be intermittent as well, even after adjusting the thermostat I told the front desk and the staff was willing to move me to the 1st floor, but after checking the room out (still outdated with a torn couch) I decided to leave and canceled my remaining time there The area is nice, but I would not recommend staying here

We were supposed to get two presidential suites with titanium rewards and they only gave us one, after promised, because the other one wasn’t ready

When we got to our “Basic” bedroom we found roaches and told the staff and didn’t do anything about itAt breakfast time the server was very rude to everyone, which I totally understand because he was the only one working but it wasn’t the right way to treat clients

My boyfriend and I were staying at the Dallas West Park Hotel as it was transitioning into the Renaissance The hotel was beautiful and we enjoyed the bar area, the new bartender was great! We were even able to check in a couple hours early which was great because our flight landed earlier than expected However, there were a few disappointments during our stay

The first two days there was fire alarm testing and on the second day it went on for three hours! We inquired about this with the front desk and a man assured us it was just the two days of testing and that it would end soon We never received a heads up about this, had we known we would’ve made plans to leave during this time My other big issue was that the day before my check out housekeeping came to my door multiple times, and eventually the hotel management, who asked us if we planned on extending our stay I explained to them that my check out was Tuesday and showed them my confirmation email I had booked through American Express, which they assumed must have been the issue I had to go down to the front desk to rescan my keys and forward my confirmation email to the manager but never received an apology for the inconvenience and misunderstanding The situation made me feel as though I was at fault Beautiful hotel but I don’t think I’ll be staying here again

Brandi

Was less than impressed during my recent stay First of all, everywhere in the hotel is warm The lobby, the rooms, the restaurant

I feel like I couldn’t cool down and it’s only May Our refrigerator in our room didn’t work either You have to manually turn it on? I’ve never seen that before The coffee bar is only open until 11 during the week and the restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner I was turned away at breakfast when there were people still clearly seated and eating It was 9:45 If you’re thirsty between the hours of the restaurants being closed, good luck getting something to drink (or eat) There are no vending machines and no where to get drinks/food The restaurant smells like an old bowling alley and the sheets smell old and musty The one drink I had at the bar was good, and the dinner menu looked good, but since I didn’t order cannot attest to taste

Perfect place for my cousin and me to stay My cousin is disabled and requires a mobility accessible room with a roll in shower and all that good stuff Finding hotels with 2 double or queen beds and a roll in shower is not easy! She is prone to falls so she can’t be left alone for more than a 10 minutes at a time

The sofa was her spot to lay out her suitcase, get dressed and eat her breakfast and snacks I loved that there was a sink and upper storage cabinet by the microwave and mini fridge The staff were all excellent and so kind and accommodating They placed us on the second floor just steps from the elevator and ice maker and it was easy for me to get downstairs and grab us some breakfast to bring back to the room Ample parking and easy access to major highways and roads But the best part was that this hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet We hope to come back again in the spring Thank you!

A pleasant experience!A group of our team members stayed made at the hotel for a yearly meeting hotel was clean, comfortableand most of all the staff was very helpful We needed help getting our large group to an evening event Giovanni our Van driver offered to take us without hesitation

Even offered to pick us back up close to the cutoff time, this insured we had a pretty good time safely We will stay at this hotel again while we’re in town! Above and beyond customer service is hard to find nowadays great jobGiovanni and team!

A bit disappointed from this stay My room (406) should someone from the Hotel see this is in need of care One has to question hotel management and their attention to detail and standards

As a travel professional, a good management team keeps up on the details, and seeks corrective action when something needs attention My room, albeit clean and tidy, lacked a few things that certainly stood out Half of the curtain on my window was missing That is, the secondary or sheer portion of the covering had been removed The desk lamp that is standard in all rooms was missing and not there In the bathroom, the assist handles in the shower have lost the paint and are all rusted exposing the bare metal On a positive note, the front desk and supporting staff are very accommodating and pleasant I will be back but hopefully to better accommodations that I expect from a Marriott property

Take your business elsewhere Staff was rude and dismissive Made you feel as if you were bothering them simply by checking in

Lord help you if you ask them a question In the morning the staff were out eating at the breakfast bar with guests even while food was running out Feed your PAYING guests before you feed your staff POOL WAS OUT OF ORDER DUE TO A LIGHT BULB OUT (You don’t need the pool lights during the daylight hours and it was 103 – open your pool) There was nothing about this on their site (stating it was closed) and the desk clerk indicated it had been closed for about a week – PLENTY of time to put a notification on your booking page that your pool that you advertise is currently unavailable I even emailed the property BEFORE we arrived about staying to enjoy the pool after 12 pm check out because we didn’t have to be at DFW Airport until 5pm and they NEVER responded Why? Probably because in an area where temps are consistently in the triple digits if you advertise a pool and then it’s closed you are going to lose bookings Much easier to not disclose it until its too late for the guest to cancel and they still make money Never had any issues with LaQuinta at other locations This location needs some help

Cody Crowley

Staying here for my company, and if I’m being honest, I would choose this hotel over a lot of them Great service Room cleaned every day

Breakfast is lacking but they make up for it with their coffee and shuttle service They’ll take you just about anywhere you want to go, and pick you back upNiceCleanProfessional

My mother had her flight cancelled during a layover at DFW Was able to book a room at this La Quinta Inn through their web site As soon as I booked it, I called the front desk and the gentlemen who answered the phone sent the free shuttle to pick her up at the airport

Checking in and check out the next day went smoothly and the room was clean I would recommend this hotel if you find yourself stranded at DFW

We were put up here by American after our flight was canceled Ellie, at the front desk, saw our voucher and understood the kind of day we’d had She provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste

You can tell this is an older hotel that’s been remodeled But, our room was cute and clean It had a tiny patio It was very quiet The button to the 3rd floor was a bit worn out, but the elevator worked We slept well on the bed The shower had great water pressure and the soaps provided worked just fine No complaints with this hotel

Valerie

I started for a week for a business tripStarted with taking over 2 hours to get picked up from the airport, absolutely rude driver (weekend night driver) and getting dropped off at the wrong hotelHad to change rooms because there was an army of bugs in the bathroom, my second room the door locks were broken

Pretty pricey for some food items, $9 for a small fruit cupGood things about the hotel, the drivers throughout the week were amazing, hotel staff friendly, decent facilities (pool & gym)

David Carter

Terri at the front desk rude and unhelpful An airport hotel that has an airport shuttle with no time limits mentioned on it shouldn’t be turning down picking up a stranded passenger from the airport! Book tons of hotels at various brands for my employees and very frustrating when you deal with this kind of thing scrambling to find a room at 11 PM at night
