My family and I had a great time We travel with a very young child and he loves it Beach is not over crowded, nice waves for boarding

Just a friendly reminder if you plan an staying several days Bring garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper The restaurant attached to it is very good They accommodated our group of 12 with ease

Marsha Fischer

We had a great time at Island Beach Resort The location was amazing! We were right on the beach and there was a nice pool as well There is a grill, but we did not use it

The pool has lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas The condo was clean and had a great view The kitchen had everything we needed to warm and serve the food we had brought The price was reasonable for the space we had The best thing is location, location, location! We loved the beach My friends and I were planning our return trip as we left

mike labelle

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Island Beach Resort The experience exceeded our expectations The room was clean, well appointed and had fantastic ocean front views

My Name

We stayed there a few weeks ago so I am a little late writing this review Just wanted to say that the Driftwood Inn is not permanently closed so not sure why Google says that We took the one bedroom cottage and we were so charmed by the old Florida style property and the owner who gave us a brief history on the place and her family

We really felt at home I would definitely return there should I stay in the area

Mark Oellerich

First time in Jenson Beach and if you want the beautiful waters and beaches of Southern Florida without the large crowds this a wonderful choice The property sits on the Indian River There are several cottages to rent for a night or a week

I loved the one I stayed in Renovated but still with charm of being at least 60 years old, the room was very comfortable with full size fridge, stove, oven and queen size bed w/another small type bed The rooms are also fully stocked with cooking pots and pans with plate and utensils I will stay for a week when I go back The owner was very kind and helpful and made me feel like I was a guest on their family property There is also a nice dock for fishing or watching the sun come up over the Indian River

Shelley Crooks

My husband and I and our two small dogs stayed here this week We stayed there a couple of weeks ago and liked it so much we stayed 2 nights on our way back home The cottages are clean and have nice decor

There is a nice sized refrigerator and stove, microwave and everything you need to cook meals instead of eating out There is a beautiful view of the bridge There is a nice dock to enjoy also We will definitely stay there next time we are in the area

From the moment you walk in you see how clean this hotel is kept I walked in to a gentleman vacuuming in the middle of the day They have Lysol wipes stations which was awesome and came in very handy

Mary at the front desk was very warm and welcoming She always had a smile on her face and was very helpful The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was delicious! The only bummer was that the jacuzzi was not working properly and that was the main thing I was looking forward to using Overall a super clean and well maintained hotel

Mark Merola

Recently had a 5 night stay and I would not recommend this place to anyone Hallways had bags of trash from the residents rooms – which remained not picked up for over a half of day The breakfast at times was missing milk and creamer – the attendant at the kitchen seemed like it was a bother just to be there

One day , the tables in the lounge area remained dirty and sticky for a few hours after the breakfast had finished The gym had 2 pieces of equipment and 1 of them was broken and the hot tub was also not usableI expressed my concerns to 2 different front desk clerks at 2 different occasions during my stay They listened and politely explained that the hotel was short handed staff I could sort of understand that but I also felt cheated out of the experience of a pleasant stay I will acknowledge that our room was clean and everything was in working order Upon check-out , I was still feeling somewhat unsatisfied so I asked to speak to the Manager I politely expressed all my concerns to Crystal Castillo and asked for a partial refund She offered no apologies for anything and asked if our room was ok – to which I answered yes Ms Castillo also acknowledged that they were experiencing some shortages of staff She further went on to say that the website indicated the hot tub was under construction And that the hotel offered the breakfast and use of the gym no additional charge So if there were a problem with either – I basically had no grounds to complain She made it clear that if the room was fine that was all that basically matteredI did not appreciate her cold demeanor and commented that I have had hundreds / possibly thousands of sales relationships during my career in Building Materials and would have never just so bluntly dis-regarded a customer’s concerns Maybe a warm sorry for any inconveniences during your stay would have sufficed As a further note, after checking out from Hampton Inn in Port St Lucie We had plans to visit family in West Palm Beach And from months before had booked the final 3 nights of vacation at the Hampton Inn there The stay and the whole experience was great The front desk and the entire staff were friendly especially the staff maintaining the breakfast area It was obvious that the people working at this location took care and pride in workWhat a difference between the 2 places within an hour of each other !

Rebekah Ramdial

On the first night we got there, my son opened the sofa bed and found old urine mixed with mold on the sheets He went to the front desk to report it and the person just gave him new sheets to put

nobody came to check the bed or change it for us The next day we woke up we found a bed bug on our bed At this point we couldn’t stay in the room do to possibly of getting a bite and bringing the infestation back to our home I didn’t feel comfortable getting another room as I didn’t trust the hotel cleaning I called Hilton corporate to request a different hotel, I explained to them that I didn’t want another room at the hotel I just wanted a different hotel and after an hour or so the lady ended up transferring me to the front desk at the Hampton and leaving me The lady at the front desk said that they heard about the situation and they have another room for us, I explained that I didn’t trust getting another room from the experience with the bed bugs and they told me that I can cancel the reservation but I would be charged for the night we stayed I honestly couldn’t believe their response, for one I was asking for a free night I just wanted a decent room to spend our family time in and I should of gotten more than a free night I ended up calling corporate again and the only hotel they had available only had 2 beds which my family of 5 didn’t comfortably sleep well but at least there was no bed bugs Hilton only offered to pay for 1 night of stay at the other hotel To be honest it was a horrible experience and the accommodations given were horrible Im really shocked to see how Hilton took care of this Will not be booking with them again

Paz Life

Best Western is typically a pretty safe choice in hotels This experience changed my opinion We had roaches in the room, literally one on my pillow case in the morning

There are no words I understand that, “it’s Florida”, as I was told by the front desk staff as they gave us a $20 refund towards our $133 billOn the plus side, beds were comfy, staff were empathetic and kind and we appreciated the breakfast

Lisa McCarty

Stayed 2 months ago and decided to bring my family for a mini vacay One of our rooms had roaches and I advised front staff which did nothing The next day roaches rated our bags, Climbed up our legs so I complained and they moved us to the room next to it

Checked out Sunday then turned around and book two more rooms and checked out Monday My son has bites all over him which are bed bug bites We also noticed our towels were picked up but not replaced I had to get more from front office Pool is nice, breakfast is decent One positive thing is that both of our rooms has microwaves They said they would mention to manager but didn’t release manager’s name and I would think they would have discounted my room in some type of way

M Masya

Roaches flies in room bathtub backed up lots of dirt stains on touchables not covid safe comfy bed but hard to sleep with bugs and buzzing No callback from management after request Clientele in parking lot sketchy and all towels had either a hair or a stain

Didn’t stick around for breakfast due to covid protocol overlook in room and the smell of cigarettes that came from checkin window

From check in to check out very nice and professional I even forgot my Gucci belt behind after checking out and realized a day later After calling the next morning to report it, Francesca the manager for the cleaning crew, called me and told me she would look for the belt immediately

Within 20 minutes I got a call back and she said she found the belt I was surprised at the response time, and very pleased with all the service at this hotel

Bianca Johnson

The location is prime for surrounding adventure of Port Saint Lucie However, although we weren’t down there on leisure and instead there for a family emergency, the amenities and facility was more than welcoming and exceptional in every way I didn’t intend on staying at this hotel at first and had instead booked a reservation across the street

When I found that the rooms weren’t to my liking, I sought this hotel and do not regret my decision I had difficulty booking through Expedia and was met with issues which I explained to the staff at the Garden Inn, and from that moment they ensured me that they could do all they could to help, AND THEY DID! Thank you so much for your hospitality and professionalism ☺️

Let’s start off with the positives, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly I have worked for IHG in the past for full disclosure and love how they have built consistency into their brands No matter where you stay you’re guaranteed a certain standard across their chains

Holiday Inn Expresses are great for business trips especially, nothing too complex and always great to have breakfast provided for busy work mornings I feel though that this location was slightly understaffed During my visit I witnessed the front desk lady going above and beyond to accommodate guests issues, she was forced to wear several hats since no one was present to address certain issues Maintenance, customer service, concierge, and housekeeping She did it all and I was thoroughly impressed but sad to see her not having the support she needed It would also be nice to have a vending machine on each floor and an elevator that went faster As soon as I arrived guests warned me not to use the elevator in the morning if I was in a rush

Tara L

The lamps on either side of the bed won’t turn all the way off – they stay on in a night light mode which is hard for those of us that need dark to sleep There is no way to unplug them or remove the light bulbOnly 1 slow elevator

The hotel does seem to be recently remodeled

Homeagain Jiggity Jig

This is your typical Holiday Inn Express and Suites We stopped here on our travels without a reservation The night clerk was friendly and helpful

The room was tidy They do have caution tape up in some areas and I assume they are doing some renovations They offer a hot breakfast in the morning with several choices available It seemed to be a nice area and it was close to the toll road to the Keys We only stayed for one night

If you want a fantastic location, without the hustle of the tourist trade than this is for youAbsolute beachfront Jenson Beach, but handy enough to travel anywhere, with convenience shops located across the roadThe hotel is dated, but was undergoing renovation throughout my stay, with some of the rooms on the upper floors quite nicely done

There is a pool and a hot tub, and the beach access is 20ft from the hotel side entrancePlenty of places to eat around this location – which is great as my room was not self containedThe only downer, was the older man who really wanted to spoil a couple of us having a few quiet drinks at the end of a long day I really don’t understand his motives and he was pretty rude The rest of the staff were fantastic, super helpful and professionalI would highly recommend this for a beautiful, affordable, peaceful holiday away from the grind

W. Lazear

Excellent hotel and room prices Room was clean and modern The hotel seems to run a small staff, but they were all very friendly

Has a nice smallish pool and hot tub that you pass on the way to the beachBeach is nice and secluded thanks to a restaurant on one side and a small condo resort on the other While we were there, in early July, there were at the most 15-20 people on the beach Water was surprisingly beautiful for being on the Atlantic side of FloridaLots of spots marked off due to sea turtle eggs We also had the opportunity to see a sea turtle come up on land to lay her eggs Please make sure to remember to keep your distance so you don’t scare them and prevent them from laying Tried to take some pictures from a distance, though they don’t do justice for the incredible experienceWe definitely plan to visit this location again in the future

Lori

Nice hotel on the beach The beds were comfy and the shower was spacious I wasn’t a fan of the glass bathroom door; the glass was not opaque and anyone walking by could see you

Not the best idea when you’re having a girls weekend The hallway smelled very strongly of smoke when we arrived, but it dissipated by the next day The staff were pleasant and helpful Except for the breakfast staff It was 6:58am and I was just reading the menu and a woman employee told me they weren’t open yet and I was like Oh, OK and went to the hall with my friends She then continued talking to her coworker, saying “this is why I don’t turn the lights on” I hadn’t even asked any questions, seemed a bit rude

This place is amazing, very clean and comfortable! Close to everything I came to relax and eat, the opportunities for both are abundant It is a little hard to talk to staff as they oversee multiple properties but you can reach by text and are extremely nice and helpful

The rooms look and feel like they’re brand new, the grounds and pool are very well kept This spot is a GEM and the price very reasonable Can’t say enough good things about Carribean Shores!

Century Sales Team

If I could give it negative reviews I would Very unprofessional owner I had to cancel my reservations due to personal issues

It was in the time allowed Emailed and called to verify I was told by Tom he would issue a credit for the deposit Never happened Repeated email , calls, reached out to the card processing center they tried to get him to responded with no luck This guy is a total jerk Taking someone money that didn’t even stay there and not responding Beware you cannot cancel you reservations unless you don’t care about getting your deposit back

K Kay

Beware!!!! I’ve waited to write this pondering if I should, And if you book through Airbnb the “Host” changes to/from different hosts My stay went from Tina to Tom I assumed someone was renting their private bungalow, not a business & part of a resort, but that wasn’t the issue

I messaged Tina, and never received a response It was nothing major, but a reply would’ve been appreciated Tom must need some happiness in his life or a vacation himself! He walked by daily for a week and never once said good morning, evening or even smiled I’m not the one who wrote a bad review, however, I should have!! I don’t want to share details, but I left the place as I arrived, clean I’ve been staying with Airbnb for years and have all excellent reviews, and comments, but Tom tried to tarnish my good name with a bad review, and his is the only one It won’t affect my rental capabilities, but he must’ve gotten some satisfaction by doing so I’ve read other guests poor reviews, and believe them, and some were specifically about Tom Based on my experience, this is not an honest business I’m not upset about the few towels, I brought my own The best thing is that I had the best week I’ve had in a long time, I didn’t let him ruin my experience after such a wonderful, joyous , incredible week in Jensen Beach!!! I’m only being truthful, and hope to save someone else from possible excess charges or getting kicked out like the other folks have experienced

Compared to other ridiculously priced hotels in the area (and maybe a 60+ mile radius), this place is worth it Our room was clean and it has a home-like feel to it I appreciate the owner working with us since we have a family, and REALLY needed a place to stay- that wasn’t $300/night! We drove from Okeeheelee to stay here (1 hr away)

Thank you Jerry!

Debrah Dill

We stayed here 3 nights The view and the sunsets on the screen porch are fabulous The room was comfortable but a little rough around the edges because it’s an older place place

The Wi-Fi was not good very spotty If you’re squeamish or scared of the lizards this is not the place for youThere are quite a few of them here but they don’t come near you or by you at all There were no lizards indoors they were all outsideIt was good and quiet and worth around a $100 a night There is no restaurant or bar on the premises that is open That is probably why it was quiet

Clean and cozy! Awesome location! I was concerned it would be noisy due to the closeness to US 1 and the train tracks but it was tucked away just enough that we had no problems with traffic noise Delicious, hot and healthy breakfast both days, served at the reasonable hour of 9 AM What a treat! Coffee, tea and water were available at all times and a small communal refrigerator to keep our personal beverages and snacks cold

Great friendly and available host who offered good entertainment and dining advice Everything we wanted to see downtown was in easy walking distance, especially the Lyric Theater! We will definitely be back

Musty smell in few room shown finally took one and later saw paint bubbling on bathroom ceiling from shower moisture White powered residue in coffee area high on wall paper near ceiling Dust bunnies on ceiling wall and lampshade near the vent so I wiped it and the vent was full of fuzzies and turned my rag black

The ac took hours to go down a degree and smelled more and more like mildew as it ran woke stuffy and with a headache and cramps muscles This Hallways are ridiculously warm the lobby over perfumed Marriott stay on points from a previous stay at Sheraton Vistana resort that has bad mold in my room something tells me Marriott is all show no quality Lots of fluff but mold mildew dust and no other stuff like free breakfast Just one lousy regular coffee in the room Others in the price range give you two at least but unlimited at breakfast Honestly I don’t get the high reviews but realize it’s only got 38 for the rooms Hope my grandson with asthma is not feeling sick today he fussed all night Shame on the hotel and Marriott and Florida for not having mold standards It was a free stay but it’s gonna cost me if I am sick from the room

Maureen DuPont

The staff at this hotel are nice and the hotel is okay although it’s older property, likely renovated but with a bathtub/shower and small TV that didn’t work However, the meal at their bistro was the worst meal we’ve ever had The burgers were thinner than any fast food place, had no flavor, on a tiny roll, it had no tomato, onion, pickles or any condiments

It was $14 and served with a side of arugula with nothing on it It was plain arugula or fries which they were out of If the owner is behind this extreme cheapness, they should be embarrassed Neither my husband or I have ever seen anything like it

Mike

They have “free showtime movies” on the tv but you’re unable to watch any due to the movie freezing with a loading screen every 10 seconds because of their garbage Wi-Fi At least give me the option upgrade to the “faster Wi-Fi” on the tv or let me connect to my hotspot so I can actually watch a movie but nope I just have to accept the garbage Wi-Fi that’s so bad I can’t even use the television Also had the dozens of little kids staying there running screaming up and down the halls all day

Unpleasant experience

Definitely reccomend! We stayed here for 2 weeks with our dog and infant son Great staff! Always friendly and helpfulThe rooms were reasonable updated and clean

We stayed in a king suite and a one bedroom suite Both were very nice Comfortable bed and lots of space with a small dining area and separate deskBreakfast had a surprising amount of options compared to other places we’ve stayed There is a nice outdoor eating area too, though it would have been more cleanWe used the pool once and it was nice Lots of chairs and it’s a decent sizeDog friendly with lots of space to walk

Friendly staff, clean rooms! Anything I needed, staff was pleasant and accommodatingI stayed here for work traveling back and fourth for over a month One of these times, I forgot personal items in the room I had just checked out of

When I called, staff contacted housekeeping and found my things! They were waiting for me when I came back the following week They’ve been great here I’ll keep coming back!

When we arrived at the Residence Inn, we had a slight “family issue” that had nothing to do with the hotel When we were checking in, I mentioned this to the young gentleman at the front desk, who immediately summoned the general manager, Ronnie Nichols She couldn’t have been nicer and more professional!

Ms Nichols immediately started to work on the problem we were having and solved it extremely quickly Everything about our stay at the Residence Inn was so pleasant, and everybody that works at the hotel are so nice and professional And once again, I’d like to say how great their GM, Ronnie Nichols is She treats both her staff and guests with total class!

I give it half the total number of stars because the hotel staff was great, breakfast was alright (no egg whites or to go breakfast or snacks), room was very clean compared to Fairfield right by them BUT I couldn’t workout at the gym all week because their hours are from 6am I need to workout at 4am to be at work by 6am Also couldn’t have breakfast because it also opens at 6am, the time I have to be at work

Only was able to have breakfast one day out of the entire week I was there

Our stay at Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina this week was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and professional This place is kind of hidden from the big-name chain resorts and it had more like a homey feeling Each room comes with your own balcony

They also have a 24/7 gift shop, so you can purchase anything from food, drinks, clothing gear and more at any time! (Not most like the big chain resort names) The food at the restaurant and bar was great! We will stop by again in the future when we stay in the Stuart, Fl area, and I recommend that anyone reading this should stay there as well!

Cloth shower curtain allowed floor to get soaked Bed was a box spring with a soft topper (no matress) Wifi was the speed of a snail and half the buttons on the TV remote were broken

Continental breakfast was just a bunch of packaged snacks like muffins and yogurt This is also very close to train tracks, though I didn’t mind the noiseWould I stay here again? Yeah, totally For 1/3 of what we paid I would happily stay again It was far too expensive for the quality

Perfect place in Jensen Beach! Right downtown in the middle of the Historic, cute town of Jensen Beach, in walking distance to several restaurants, the art village and many shops We were in town to do some thrift shopping and it’s very close to several vintage and thrift shops Elizabeth the innkeeper was wonderful with guiding us to local places to eat and hang out, the Inn is immaculate thanks to Tammie in housekeeping

We loved the fact that there is no children under 18, no smoking and no pets allowed which meant the entire Inn was very clean, smelled amazing and was very quiet at night From Check in through check out everything was very professional and smooth You are left a breakfast basket in the refrigerator with the name of your room which is located in the common area so you can get your breakfast and take it to your room whenever you want, or if you wish you can eat it in this large common area that has plenty of tables and chairs Parking downtown is free and there are reserved spots for Jensen Beach Inn on the side of the building which makes it very easy and convenient, they have thought of everything Most Historic Inns and hotels have noisy window or through the wall AC units, each room has central AC, again, super quiet, very efficient and the whole room is called efficiently Highly recommend a Jensen Beach Inn, excellent place to stay, you definitely get your moneys worth
