Im a Choice rewards member and stayed at this Quality Inn on 7/21 This was by far the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in during all my years of travelling I ended up checking out around 2am due to something crawling on me while in bed

If you guessed bed bugs that would be correct I talked with the manager the next day and my room charge was refunded However, I will not stay at this location again

My stay was excellent! The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean, and there was stellar customer service! I highly recommend staying here! T Jennings was amazing and made sure our stay was very comfortable :)The hotel is thirty steps from longhorn steakhouse, which is very convenient if you want a nice dinner!

I checked in around 9 pm and the room was dirty

The sheets had not been changed and there was hair on them I moved to two other rooms that night and they were also dirty I finally asked the man at the front desk who was really kind, for sheets, pillowcases, etc I wiped down my entire room and the next morning borrowed the vacuum cleaner from the housekeeper because the floors were also full of dirt I will never stay here again, I should not have had to clean my entire hotel room This is why I booked a hotel, I needed a break I might as well have stayed at home I do not advise you book with this company!

The fit and finish of the hotel and room are nice TV is a bit dated but it works fine Bed is nice, linens are average

The bathroom is really nice, and it has a reasonably large balcony though we are missing a chair The pool is on the small side with 2 hot tubs, it is February and pool and hot tubs are openThe grounds are kept up well enough for it being the off season less the walking trail around the lake It is below the water level around the beach and sections are an inch deep in water and covered in sand, it has not rained recently The section of the trail around the beach desperately needs to be redone There is a giant white cross on the lake that is lit up which really distracts from the natural sceneryAll and all its a nice restart, in a very peaceful area If you are looking to slow down its worth a visit, if you are looking for fast paced you will not find that here

Hello There

Listen, this place was awesome I get the complaints, but this property is on the up and coming Look around and you can see they are making all sorts of upgrades

Also the property is under new management and if you enjoy The Marriot at Stone Mountain, you’re going to love this place The staff is definitely several levels above anything I’ve ever experienced Sure, its not perfect just yet, but the food, and the buffet, and the staff make up for anything that’s lacking

This was not a good experience The hotel is not clean There was hair on my sheets…there and trash on the floors in the corners in the room

I took pictures I took pictures People were slamming the doors all night I didn’t sleep Then at breakfast the woman who was working said half the complimentary breakfast wasn’t available as someone didn’t show for work Why say that? Totally unprofessional This is a 2 star hotel The reviews here are generous

Betty Corman

The tile floor was very slippery, felt almost slimy shower was good Beds were reasonably comfortable

we felt like the room could’ve been much cleaner Barn door on the bathroom was very heavy & not easy to open that seemed like a bit overkill for what the room was if your going to put $$ into something, replace the nasty flooring

Cameron Martin

Room 307, door difficult to open and close, when let go door will not actually close on its own, must force it Toilet in the bathroom finicky to flush and when you do manage to flush it, sometimes it will randomly flush on its own repeatedly until you flush it again Bed closest to bathroom was very stiff and uncomfortable, did not try other bed

Floor of shower was slightly slippery like there was a mildew film Clock in room was incorrect however I looked up how to fix that myselfWas difficult to find at night because the road leading to the hotel is not lit and I nearly missed it on my second passThe only real positive I can give to this place is the breakfast, while lacking in my opinion, was much better than the Hampton Inn I stayed at the night of April 1st This one had moist scrambled eggs and bacon The other location I stayed at had dry plain omelettes and dry sausage patties

Our first time at the great wolf lodge with a 4 and 2 year old! We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back! Everything was greatWhen we first arrived we loved how clean everything was Even the floors looked so clean, the bathrooms etc

They were very quick and efficient getting tables cleaned for the next familyThe rooms were also very clean, linens very nice looking, quiet rooms, cozy feeling We felt at homeThe water park was great Our kids loved it! They had so much fun and we had to force them out of the water It was also pretty clean for a water park One of the cleanest I’ve seen! It’s definitely not a cheap trip so if you visit definitely get a meal package and prepare to spend some money but for the experience it’s well worth it and they get freebies with their passes Our kids got a free build a bear that they adore! The staff is very friendly and helpful for us newbies It’s definitely an experience and very highly recommend everyone checking one out! It’s fun for the whole family!

Cassandra Nichols

Excellent vacation destination for a family a family We were all able to enjoy this space in different capacities There were water slides we rode together with was fun for our 3 year old! The water park is the perfect size

I never felt cramped nor overwhelmed The pool outside is great for lounging and sunbathing The food convenient and so were the drinks 😆 overall we had a great time!

Erin L

We had a nice weekend here The room was clean and comfortable, the water park was amazing, we enjoyed the ropes course, staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful Minus a star for two reasons: it was difficult to social distance and I really would’ve appreciated a vaccination verification and better enforcement of masks because hardly anyone was wearing one

But my main complaint was that fountain drinks couldn’t be refilled They put little stickers on the bottoms of the cups that won’t allow you to get a refill! This just seems petty for all the money you spend while you’re there We had to wait a while for our lunch (no biggie it was busy) and we drank our drinks while we waited only to find that we couldn’t get a refill when the food came At the very least they should make it very clear that drinks aren’t refillable Refills are expected for fountain drinks, come on But again, overall a very good experience

An excellent camping experience and a beautiful park overall We stayed at the R Shaefer Heard campground run by the Army Corp of engineers The campground is really very well maintained and volunteers patrol regularly

Bathrooms are somewhat sparse for a campground and require a decent walk, but are modern and clean There is a shared shower facility for the each of two camping areas

dlow

Good camp sites and nice views of the lakeBeware of the couple managing the check in process In every instance we’ve visited the camp site, we’ve been threatened to be ticketed or towed for insignificant stuff

God forbid if you get a rental camper They make no bones about it Rental campers are scum of the earth

We arrived at the hotel shortly after 5 my sister had booked this room for us us as being my mother and I we did get a lower level as asked But the front desk girl that check to settle second shift was not nice she was not knowledgeable I had called at one time from the room to ask if LaGrange had any buffets in town she said I don’t know you just have to Google it I also explain to her that I needed pull up paper and we needed some soap

When we checked in after we came back from dinner I was too late to change your room but I have posted a few pictures of the shower head needed to be cleaned I didn’t know if I wanted to shower but I had to but I still had no way to clean the shower head There was a long black hair on the back of the bathroom door, there was also something gross on the light switch to come a light on in the bathroom Also the bottom of the toilet was nasty look like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days the mirror had spots all over it and smudgesI went to close the blinds are the curtains at that time I found peanuts and peanut shells and some other crumbs a food and whatever in the windowsill also on top of the air-conditioning itself The stink look like it had not been cleaned as well I’m having little black hairs in the sink Also the Chrome had a lot of spots on it look like it hasn’t been cleaned well, went to go try to have some coffee and we had no coffee cups we can have coffee bags but the coffee maker when we opened it up was dirty So we checked out the next morning breakfast was very good they had a great variety we did enjoy that We also told the lady at the front desk to check out what we had found in the room that it was too late to switch rooms period she accommodated us by given us 10% off of our night stay period I will say the beds were cleaned I smelled fresh and they were very comfortable I would return back to this hotel and I would recommend this hotel It’s also a great location for anywhere you have to be in LaGrange it’s on the main strip I believe to anywhere you want to go such as restaurant shopping the malls across the street so it’s just very convenient

Carrie Backer

First time staying at a La Quinta Inn It was great The bed was comfortable

I would like fluffier pillows, but that’s just me The room was cleanI can’t say enough about the young man who checked us in We had a great conversation with him I wanted to give him credit by first name, but it has been a few days since we were there and I can’t rememberWe didn’t get to taste the breakfast because we slept too late!We will very likely stay again We travel annually from NC to lower AL and this is a perfect midway stopThanks

James

I’ll start with price, the room was very reasonable through Priceline, so I didn’t expect a lotI was pleasently surprised The lobby is very nice and the young man at the desk was friendly and helpful

They have coffee 24/7 and a spacious lobby The room was small but nice This is obviously a place that is well cared forSo why only 3 stars? At 9:30 AM, housekeeping came walking into our room No knock, just walked in I had just gotten coffee so the security lock was not on This really bothers me and we have seeing it more and more lately The room is rented until 11, don’t expect us to leave early See who has checked out and clean those rooms first

We stopped in to sleep on our way to Florida at about 3am and stayed until 10am (This this was the ONLY hotel that had rooms available, and I see why now) The night front desk service was good, but the room was horrible

The lobby and rooms were completely outdated The room was dirty and the blankets on the bed were old and stained (There was no comforter, only two sheets and an old nasty fleece blanket, we didn’t use any covers) The next morning we woke up to get ready and continue our drive, well needless to say, we couldn’t even get ready because we ran out of the room with all of our things because there was huge cockroach on our toilet seat We didn’t get to shower and we even brushed our teeth outside I did let the front desk know before we left and all they said was that they get in from the cracks Another part of our group stopped here as well and they were over charged Our rooms were supposed to be $84 plus tax (ours was correct) and they were charged over $200! I would never stay here again, I wish we would have just slept in our vehicle

Gregg Grodner

First off was there for fishing tournament I called and was informed there are plenty of electrical hook ups (lie) There was 2 and one dis not work

Had to run cord to mechanical room which was destroyed from opening and closing door Secondly the room was a mess Never once vacuumed and the carpet was filthy Maids did change towels but never replaced soap or shampoo and only made beds 2 out of 5 night Then they checked me out one day early and we were locked out of room Was told they thought we left even though the room was full of our things Then I reserved 2 rooms The other team checked in and gave their credit card It was never input into system and I got double charged Highly do not recommend this hotel Seems the employees do not know what they are doing I guess it’s probably due to covid though

Latoyal McCullough

Roaches in the bathroom, not 1 but several, few stains on the sheets and mattress, tile in tub wasn’t clean This is usually our go to but this time wasn’t good My husband went to desk to checkout clerk wouldn’t even acknowledge him someoneelse came I guess they was waiting on a complaint but we wasn’t gonna complain just dropping the key off

The Roaches was bad!!

So this place here is the best hotel we have stayed in for an overnight trip that accommodates families From the time we walked in, Alfie helped us and made sure we were comfortable Little did me and my wife know, we were Hilton Rewards members and were offered a couple of snacks for the kids and water

The rooms were awesome and extremely spacious for us all The morning breakfast was awesome and the host preparing the food was extremely kind to explain everything on the buffet Even at checkout, the counter manager was so kind and greeted us pleasantly with “Good Morning” I walked pass her several times and she said it😄 If you are ever coming through Lagrange, I recommend you stay here It’s just in front of Great Wolf Lodge, behind the Waffle House!

Richard Ruth

Our family had a fantastic weekend stay at this Home2 Suites in LaGrange, GA The staff was extremely friendly and courteous The property was very clean

Pet friendliness is an extremely important factor for us in selection of a hotel and this hotel was amazing for pets The dog walk area behind the property was spacious and wonderful The room amenities are great for families This was an A++ experience for us and we’d definitely make this our number 1 place to stay in LaGrange in the future (And for LaGrange College baseball families, this hotel is only about 10 minutes from the field a very easy drive which was the purposes of our weekend trip)

James Petryka

Very nice hotel with friendly staff I didn’t realize I was going to be next to the Great Wolf Lodge It is also walking distance to the Waffle House if that’s your thing

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helped me find a place to go for dinner The room was very clean and nicely appointed I’ve only stayed at a Home2 once before and enjoy the suite feel with the couch and kitchenette with glass drinking glasses

Our room was comfortable and we slept well We paid $10700 for the room

We were traveling North from Florida when I received an alert on my phone that we had been charged an additional $6750 I called the hotel to find out why and was told it was because we smoked in the room I insisted we did not! I have asthma and my husband doesn’t smoke either The woman said I could come back and smell the sheets By then we were in Kentucky! No matter how many times I insisted we did not smoke it didn’t matter Will NEVER stay there again

Desiree

My daughter and I stayed here and had no issues The room we had was clean, all the staff we encountered were all so wonderful We never woke up in time to try the breakfast lol but my daughter loved the indoor pool and it and the area was always clean

I wouldn’t consider it heated lol but my daughter nor the other kids seemed to mind The only thing I didn’t know going in was that there was no elevators in this locationso if your room is on the 2nd floor and you have heavy or a lot of luggage it might be a little hard and the poor staff having to go up and down those stairs cleaning the rooms with all that laundry and trash, they need a raise! But we enjoyed our stay and would very much recommend this location especially for the price

Carrie Queen

First and last time I will ever stay Our toilet stopped up we informed the front desk She apparently did not informed maintenance and later when house cleaning found it

It had backed up into the room flooding everything Now they are charging us for her not doing her job because she told me she forgot because the morning was hectic I feel she should be responsible not us

Don’t let the outside scare you off! It was a very safe and clean motel The owner was very sweet and accommodating too She made sure of of our needs were met

Located in the charming 2-stop-lights town of Pine Mountain, Georgia, just outside of Calloway Gardens lies the charming White Columns Motel Owned and operated by local residents, this charming respite stands out from more commercial offerings nearby While situated on the main thoroughfare, the structure is set back well enough that road noise is minimal (along with the town pretty much closing up shop at about 8pm most nights)

All in all, a charming and nostalgic experience reminiscent of yesteryears before interstate super highways; where country roads held access to new opportunities of adventure!
