Large rooms, convenient location, clean Pet friendly for a pretty stiff fee ($75 per stay) Breakfast decent for a free hotel breakfast

Staff was super nice My only complaints are the shower head is awful Water is very hard And the carpets in the pet friendly rooms are always dampish Not great to walk on All in all, good place to stay and I’ll stay again

Saniya Zahra

I stayed there for almost 2 months for two years in a row They should have welcomed me as regular guest but instead of that they showed me very much attitude Staff was very unprofessional

I always used to even tip them to clean my room but my room was never cleaned properly Also one day they randomly told me that I have to leave the hotel for playing loud music in my room They could have gave me warning but instead of that they asked me to leave!! I’ll never forget this horrible experience I had to face, staff was racist, rude & unprofessional I’m a Hampton inn regular customer but the location in garden city is the worse one, they really need to work on the hotel staff, I wasn’t living there for FREE!!!!!!

Nicholas Millington

The front desk staff was unprofessional and unfriendly My room was not cleaned for 3 days Apparently at this hotel you have to affirmatively request for your room to be cleaned no less than 24 hours in advance

First time domestically or internationally I’ve seen a hotel implement this type of policy There was a frigid draft coming into my hotel room from below the AC/heat unit I ended up booking and using a different hotel for the remainder of my stay Much better experience and only 5 minutes away

I’ve stayed here numerous times and have never had an unpleasant experience staying here The rooms are clean, smell fresh and clean when you walk inI’d like to take this review and give praise to the housekeepers that work there

The rooms I’ve stayed in were all extremely clean, smelled clean, the beds are made up very nice and neat I notice your hard work and always leave a tip for you in the room when I check out Your hard work shows and it’s appreciated Thank you 🙂

DAVID HICKEY

This has to be the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at The carpets in the room were old and dirty Kept my shows on the entire time

The toilet bowl wasn’t even cleaned The room smelled like someone had been getting high The place is very old with furniture from the 70’s This place needs a major renovation If they were charging $25/night, it would have been to much Please stay away from this dirty Motel We only stayed to change before a wedding we were attending We ended up driving home after the wedding Do not Believe all of the other Reviews online If anyone is telling you this place is good don’t BELIEVE ITI’ve been traveling this country for 30 years on business and personal This just made it to the top of the Worst Motor Inn To Never Stay at

The property is beautiful and well maintained Rooms are clean My stay was on a weekend, didn’t get a chance to sample breakfast

You don’t get room service unless requested and had to ask for towels twiceLocation had quick access to LIE, but is a little off the beaten pathOverall lovely stay would definitely recommend if looking for kitchenette for your stay

Nelson Campbell

Beautiful hotel nice spacious rooms majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms kept clean , and the hotel is always quiet but be aware of the egotistical manager Travis who has no compassion and consideration of a miss understanding that could have been cleared in 2 seconds, but when certain people are put in a position of Power then they power trip A miss understanding of my kids charging ice cream to my room and my card not being billed because I had to cancel my cards because I lost my wallet resulted in Travis kicking me and my 5 year old daughter out and his exact words were “Things happen good luck”

Good luck to him Karma always comes back

I can’t even believe how amazing this hotel is Pulled up in front and the guy is there with the luggage cart waiting Another person immediately takes an ice cream cake I’m holding and puts it in a freezer

Another person is waiting at the desk to check me in Get to the room the man that brought everything up to the room unloads everything and doesn’t leave until he makes sure everything is as expected I rented a regular room for one night my daughter and 3 friends and an joining one for me I asked if they could have a table set aside for my daughters birthday dinner They called me the day before I arrived to not only tell me they would have a special table but that they would make special menus with her name on it Went over all safe food because we had one child with allergies I can’t even tell you how many little things each person working here did to make our stay special because there were so many! For dinner They had a room to themselves with their own waitress, they decorated the table with different color napkins in each glass and a birthday sign This was all done as standard service, all I paid for was the rooms! The pool is amazing! The desk found out two of my daughters friend had to leave for a short time and they offered to keep the pool open later so they didn’t miss out on any pool timeI’ve never stayed at such an amazing hotel!

Update- I was refunded $50

honestly at that rate don’t bother refunding money, id just take the loss My family got about as much sleep as we’d have gotten if we slept in a tent in the parking lot and it would have been a heck of a lot less expensive I’ll be staying at the Marriott down the road next time we’re in town Do not recommendPositives- sufficiently safe and no bedbugs Also the staff at breakfast was lovely and helpfulNegatives- sticky floor, dirty walls, hair all over the bathroom, no fresh towels, no working vending machines, but the best part was the fire alarm in our bedroom going off at 2am when we were sleeping After calling the front desk, who very nonchalantly told us to call back if it went over again (it did), we had to wait for someone to come upstairs to look at it Apparently there was a miscommunication between them and the front desk because the gentleman who came into our room spent a few moments trying to wrench the thermostat off the wall, leaving piles of wall on the floor before we pointed out the problem was with the fire alarm He removed it and told us they’d replace it the next morning They did not We had to call multiple times to have them send someone up with what I’d consider a basic safety requirementOther notes: everything is outdated, the walls are thin and you can hear everything

Matt Fisher

This is a fabulous hotel with very clean rooms and the most magnificent pool and hot tub! The staff was friendly and took care of all our needs right away and the food at the breakfast buffet was exceptional I highly recommend the omelet station and fresh baked croissants even the kids were raving about all the choices!!! Very spacious rooms and a gorgeous lobby bar with lounge seating all around was the icing on the cake!

My husband and I had to change hotels multiple times for our wedding Covid postponed it 4 times and it seemed like every date we got the hotel wasn’t able to accommodate our large group Holiday Inn took care of us and made sure that our guest and us were taken care of

They gave us space to be able to do hair and makeup and gave us the option to keep the bar open late! We had a BLAST and they were pleasant every step of the way! We had our wedding 8/14/21

Last time I stayed here the fire alarm went off every hour for 4 hours between 1am and 5am I ended up checking out earlyThe room is disgustingly dirty and nothing feels clean

The room originally given to me was preoccupied The second room the carpet felt dirty and had crumbs all over the placeThe bed was saggy and not comfortable at all It was by far the worst stay at a hotel I ever hadThe location to the highway is probably the best part of this hotel

Gene Melton

The rooms were nice and clean and appeared to be recently remodeled The staff at the desk were friendly and accommodating When I checked in I was told the hotel had not started serving breakfast yes because of the pandemic but the did serve lunch and dinner

The website said continental hot breakfast served Guess the owners are too cheap to serve breakfast and use the pandemic as an excuse The cons was the halls smelled like marijuana at any time of day I figure the staff were in their work areas smoking marijuana No matter what time I returned, always some shady characters sitting in the parking lot or outside the buildings I would watch them approach cars for about a minute and car would drive off Selling drugs? not sure but that seemed to be what was going on Never felt safe walking from the car to the front doors No one ever threatened me but I was watched real hard walking in I travel to the area on business Definitely will not stay their again and I would not recommend others to stay there especially if you are a lone woman or a family with kids

Stayed here today for a day use had a virtual meeting The front desk attendant was lovely and responsive Breakfast was also very nice

I tried to call and see if I could stay one more hour- I would have paid extra- however the attendant at the front did not let me get any more words out and was rather dismissive Would appreciate next time, if they could let me finish my sentence It was fine if it was a no and I am quite capable of I understanding that Otherwise, very nice and would stay there again Clean!!

Patrick A

You’re greeted upon entry by a wholesome fresh smell throughout the lobby and hallways nicely matching up to the modern aesthetic first impression visually And the room did not disappoint either Generous sized, spotlessly clean, airy with a well laid out bathroom and a practical kitchenette

I absolutely have no complaints about the service as the staff were all friendly and always willing to help Breakfast is okay

David Rahbany

Service makes the difference hereWhile 5 stars is a bit of a stretch when evaluating the quality of the rooms and food (really more like a 3-4 star hotel) the staff at this hotel are FIVE STARS They have all been very polite and helpful, giving me more than I expect at each and every turn

What a difference nice people make to an experience Bravo Marriott, keep these people on your team

My second time staying there in the past month This spot has so much potential but they do not clean the rooms properly First time there was toe nail clippings on the floor, second time there was hair in the bathroom

They promptly came and cleaned when asked the first time but this should not happen! Second time, it was such a short stay, I didn’t have the time or energy to complain

Good hotel for the great price Service was excellent Chris was super helpful and professional

He went above and beyond and curiously do seem to enjoy his job Hum A rarity these days I must say Breakfast was much better than expected Had all the usual and more Located in a quiet family neighborhood but close enough to the actionGood place, good food and better people What else is there to say

A funeral led to my family and I staying at this hotel The staff went out of their way to accommodate us on this last minute over night trip They allowed us to check in extra early and held our bags while we attended the service

Coffee and hot drinks in the lobby was a nice touch especially as it was cold and rainy A very tough weekend was made a little better by the care and empathy shown Thank you

This hotel deserves 6 stars, but 5 will have to suffice We needed a hotel last second after our flight was canceled out of JFK and this was the only hotel that had rooms available Took a shot booking here simply wanting a bed instead of sleeping in the airport terminal

All our winter clothes were stuck in the airport and the kind gentleman at this hotel at the front desk literally gave me the jacket off his back to go grab a bite down the street in 10 degree weather Even sent their shuttle to pick us up at the restaurant to go back to the hotel at 12:30am so we wouldn’t have to walk in the frigid weather Incredible kindness The breakfast the next morning was a nice touchGreat spot if you need a clean, safe place to crash around JFK Seemed like a mom and pop kind of place Top notch… super grateful for these people after a brutal travel day

Brandie Foster

I LOVE this hotel! It’s kind of old, BUT it’s extremely clean every time I stay here and the bed is comfortable and there’s a fridge and microwave in every room I think the excellent customer service can’t be beat! Every single person I encountered here from the van driver, the front desk and the cleaning staff are soo nice and helpful I’ve stayed here about 5 times for work (flight attendant) and will continue coming here

The only thing I don’t love is there is no coffee maker in the room so have to get dressed and go downstairs to get my coffee, but all the other good stuff makes up for that

Tamara Stump

Not sure why the bad reviews My stay was great Staff was nice and helpful

The room was clean, beds comfortable etc As far as breakfast it was fine for a quick bite, if you want a fancy breakfast then stay at a $400 a night hotel The breakfast is basic and something to get you by, its not meant to be anything else People complain about it not being healthy and then said they went to Burger King 🤔 Ummm ok, as if that is healthy If you want a decent stay, reasonable price then this is the place They even have a coin operated laundry so you can wash your clothes

I stayed for three nights at the Hilton Gardens Inn Roslyn I found the hotel to be very clean and bright There were two small, but cute patios with comfortable chairs in an area that was serene that you could sit in

The rooms were spacious and comfortable There was a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge in the room and big closet The bathroom was big and the shower was great I enjoyed the 24hr market that you could get snacks, yogurt, cereal, beverages, frozen foods, coffee, etc I also had the breakfast for $1699 and ate dinner at the restaurant The wait staff for both were very nice and efficient Also, I used the app to check in 24hrs before and my room was ready when I arrived I would return for future stays

Alexander Abdalla (TheCirrusGamer)

I really want to give this hotel a high rating, but I can’t exactly do that The room was absolutely gorgeous, but the restaurant service was very slow, and one of the waitresses did not communicate very clearly on questions regarding items on the menu In addition, the pool and hot tub also happened to be closed

I just needed to stay here for one night before getting a COVID test and visiting family, and wanted some entertainment, but sadly not Maybe I just stayed on a bad day I do truly believe it is a great place, it’s just my experience this one particular day was not so good

Lauren Levy

The department which handles room blocks for weddings is an absolute disaster I worked with Stefanie and the communication was poor throughout (no response for 2+ weeks, following up multiple times, getting an email back from her that was a complete sentence was like pulling teeth) but she reassured me every time we spoke that everything was “all good” and I really thought everything was “all good” up until 3 days before my wedding I just happened to login to the Hilton Honors website to check my booking and I noticed the reservation that I had booked via Stefanie for the premium room which they dub their “bridal suite” had changed

They had us checking out of that room on our wedding morning and moving to a different room I looked back at my confirmation email from June 2021 to make sure I wasn’t going crazy but sure enough the reservation had changed, with absolutely no notice from anyone, no email that my reservation had been modified, no phone call If I hadn’t checked the website we would have been in the middle of getting ready for the wedding with no idea we were supposed to check-out that day and go into another room We had 9 girls + 4 person hair/makeup team which is why we needed the premium room Stefanie was away so she couldn’t be reached when I called I spoke to Megan who said “something happened last weekend with the premium room’s availability” AKA they overbooked it They let me and the girls stay in the room and get ready until we had to leave for my wedding at 1:40PM but it was extremely stressful having to run back and forth moving our stuff into a new room when we were on such a time crunch I completely filled my 50-room block and booked an 85 person brunch the next day and this is the kind of customer service that is provided hereThey wouldn’t even comp the room for their mistakeThe hotel itself is nice but do not trust the sales staff when they tell you that you’re “good to go” or everything is “all good”

My first point of contact was Jessica in sales She worked with me on the menu and making sure we stayed within our budget She is quick to respond to questions and extremely accommodating!Antonella and Kenia from food and beverage service ran our corporate BBQ event and they are the most amazing team! They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond! This venue is a great place to stay and to host an event

Truly a wonderful experience

Christopher Abreu

This hotel is very nice! Comfortable and clean room, floors are well kept, and the grounds are very decorative Minor issues with my stay: bathroom sink handle was loose, new parking charge implemented (complimentary when I had made the reservation), and some communication issues I called prior to the reservation and was told breakfast was buffet style, then during check in I learned it was made to order and a separate charge

I must have missed something but this along with the new parking charge had me stressed out the night of check in Fortunately the daily parking charge was removed during check out with receipt of my email reservation

Katrina Humphrey

I was visiting a person who stayed there to do her wedding and they staff went above and beyond to satisfy not only me but the bride Everyone was polite, respectful and eager to make the day special Although I wasn’t a guest, usually when visiting it’s a bit strenuous at other hotels

They were very nice to me both days I showed up And for the wedding it was nothing but smiling faces even under pressure

Shermaine

Overall hotel was decent, front staff was friendly, and helpful, room was small but it served the purpose for my stay, they need to update there information about dvd players in the room, there was nothing in my room, also the transportation near there was ok I had to ask for a pen, and paper which should be standard in the room, and their should be a information book of some sort to tell you what’s in the area But it’s all good thankful for apps

Stephen Dan

Be careful of front desk Hispanic male I tried to catch his attention for a good minute, but did not look up

I said hi, hello, excuse me, but I can definitely sense he was doing it on purpose The moment he decided to respond he ask me with an uncomfortable tone, “are you staying here?” Hispanic dude with fake white hair lol I would definitely book elsewhere Customer service is definitely not one of their strong suits

Nice big lobby with a bar snack center and seating available Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and attentive Our room was clean and quiet It also has event/meeting rooms Very good experience and will definitely stay here again

What can I say, the lobby was updated and pleasant At the bar you’d have to fight to get a drink and get a bartender to even acknowledge you, but that’s not the bad part When I entered my room it was an “upgraded” room

The audacity for them to call that an updated room it looked like a hotel from the 90s and not in a good way Stained carpet and an odor During my stay I couldn’t in the room, I was way too uncomfortable, come to find out there was an outbreak in my hotel room Do yourself a favor, bring a beach chair and a blanket you’d be better off Their beds are infested with bugs that you’ll bring home I’m quite sure they didn’t change my sheets before I arrived and I took them home Never again

So let me say the 1 star rating is because of the service or lack there ofThe hotel is nice Clean

Room was a little small but comfortable Good areaI travel quite a bit I’m a good or platinum member for choice hotels, Hilton, Marriott etc… My connecting flight got cancelled and I had to drive in as opposed to fly I called to change the check in and yes I was past the 24 hour window, however I called at 7AM plenty of time to book out the roomThey refused to cancel or change the check in and charged me the room That’s fineThat’s their prerogative It’s just disappointing when I know they could have helped me out, and didn’t Other comfort inns and choice hotels honor those requests So do Hilton and MarriottThis was the first time in the last 3 years a hotel refused

Clean, affordable, and an amazing staff! We had to leave another high end hotel nearby because of mold in the room After a terrible night sleep and being desperate for a clean place to stay, the management at this Comfort Inn took us in early, and made sure we had a comfortable place to stayThe room was half the price of the high end hotel down the road, twice as clean, and way more comfortable

Thank you Jonathan and Dave for saving our weekend

This hotel is conveniently located, pet friendly, and clean If you have the app, you can get your room and key straight through your phone We haven’t needed to interact much with the staff, but we did have an issue with the locking system (dead battery) late one night during our last stay, and the desk and maintenance folks were helpful and went the extra mile to get someone to our room right away to get it open

It was much appreciated! We’ve already booked our next visit and will be staying at this property again

Very disappointing Pool closed when we arrived Was told it was closed for mechanical service

When we looked inside it was filthy And no sign of repair Smoking in courtyard Drinking Dining area smelled of smoke Worst was room was not clean Garbage on floor in and outside of bathroom Told no cleaning of room without request We requested a simple room cleaning three times which I asked at checkin, the next morning and when it wasn’t done at 7:30 pm when I returned to the room I had to ask again I simply asked for towels! Or whatever cleaning I could get See pic None of the “complimentary” services were received Even getting towels took three times to ask and they said there was a shift change and mornings were too busy to handle the request The room we had was very expensive for the services we “received” I think the worst was the dead rat on the roof we saw looking out our window And the spiders in the room on the bed pillows I guess that’s all you need to know

My impression after 1 minute being here Poor and lack of amenities 2 luggage carts in the whole hotel

This is a suite hotel how is there only two carts? The pool is closed and again a family hotel It’s the summer time, who planned this didn’t think through this at all I booked this 10 months ago based on the good reviews It’s on me not checking sooner Wish I would have known in advance to switch hotels The manager however is super nice Not a great start to our family vacation
