Nick was great checking us in My daughter, baby and I checked into a nice roomy King handicap room facing the parking lot We were there to relax

We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and walk on the beach Then at 2:13 am there were 2 men looking at cars in parking lot A couple fighting in their room until 6am Tried calling front desk 3 times, no security and the reservation person said to go up to their room and knock on the door The people were screaming the “f” word and throwing stuffno way was I going to put myself in danger So no sleep that night In the morning I told front desk Seems it happened all the time because no one seemed really concerned Still charged full price and not sure if anyone checked on that room We were so excited to finally stay at the resort I think we will stay down the street and drive to the casino and restaurant the next visit

Robert Pfander

I had visited before and recently stayed in the area to go to the casino for the weekend I really like this casino They’ve got great views outside the casino, their nearby eatery was delicious and had amazing views, and their nearby hotel also had killer views (I did not stay at their hotel)

Most important – no smoking indoors! This made for a very clean and pleasant gambling experience The employees seemed happy and were clean and friendlyI didn’t win, but I still had an enjoyable time and will definitely return in the future

Rick Snow

I’m probably the last person to rate a casino, I don’t gamble When going in you immediately see swarms of people everywhere giving you a Vegas vibe, but it’s far from that The staff were helpful, the casino is clean, and there is a separate smoking area upstairs so it’s not full of cigarette smoke

The place is pretty dated (could use some paint and upgrades) The games are what you would normally see at any large casino, so in that respect if your looking to win your millions you can try your luck in a variety of ways The place is good to see once

My wife’s reserved this room 3 months in advance and specifically requested a balcony which she was told we had in our room When we got to our room there was no balcony There was hair and a visible water line in the bathtub

The windows were dirty The gas stove we could not turn down so we roasted the entire first night The next day I turned off the gas to the stove so that we can at least have one good night My wife and I were meeting our kids who had separate hotel rooms that they paid a lot less for and they had a balcony and a clean room When we called and complained about our accommodations we were told sorry for the misunderstanding and operate 10% discount on our next visit Which by the way will never happen This was our first vacation in over 10 years And it was completely ruined by the management unwillingness to honor the accommodations that they said they would deliver Definitely not worth the money

Jamie Bergman

I made a reservation, they ended up switching ownership, my reservation never got switched when I was quoted and had my confirmation number in hand and then said couldn’t find it Then tried to tell me that it was $350+ more than what my reservation was if they were to “accommodate my two night stay” If a company is going to switch to different owners, they should at least honor the reservations that were already made, same dates and keep the same price

They told me they would get back to me, never did and gave up hope Very disappointed because it looked like a great place to get away for a bit

Shauna Haney

We spent our honeymoon weekend, or “mini-moon,” at The Nantucket Inn We stayed in suite #2, which included a fabulous private hot tub outside on the ocean-front deck The hot tub was absolutely fantastic

You could sit back, and the edge of the hot tub looked like it was right against the ocean waves The suite was beautiful and spacious We were pleased to have a full-size refrigerator and microwave, plus a small coffee makerThere were many issues with communication, however Meredith Lodging took over managing this property between the time we made the reservation and the date of our stay The previous management company offered lovely honeymoon options like champagne, rose petals, and chocolates I contacted Meredith Lodging after they took over to ask if they offered anything similar I was willing to pay extra to make it special Their response was abrupt and uninspiring “No, we don’t do anything like that We could put a bottle of wine in the room if you want” Not exactly enthusiastic, but I thanked them and said we would appreciate that Upon check-in, there was no bottle of wine, so apparently they forgot Issues continued from there The hot tub was pad-locked with no instructions anywhere for how to unlock it We called; no answer on the phone, so we left a voicemail, sent a text, and sent an email No response, so we called again Finally, we were told there was a numeric code for the pad-lock I checked my “welcome text” but found no code The representative said it was probably emailed to me I searched through the many emails I received from Meredith Lodging, as well as the “guest portal,” but there was no hot tub code They sent the code to me by text, and we were able to unlock the hot tub, but this was not a pleasant start to our weekend Then there were annoying things like a coffee pot in the room but no coffee, so we had to go to the grocery store in the morning to buy coffee grounds It’s fine to not provide coffee, but it should be clearly communicated If you advertise a kitchenette with coffee maker, many guests will mistakenly understand this to mean that coffee will be provided There were wine glasses and coffee mugs but no other dishes or utensils, except paper bowls and plastic utensils which previous guests left behind, fortunately for us When we needed the Wi-Fi password, again, we had to call It was nowhere in the room, nowhere in the correspondence from Meredith Lodging, and nowhere that I could find in the “guest portal” Finally, the jetted bathtub in our bathroom did not appear to work We could use the shower, but we could not figure out how to fill the bathtub I called (again), and the only way they could help was to send a maintenance workerOverall, communication was by far my biggest issue with our stay We were only there two nights but had to call for assistance multiple times both days The last thing you want on your honeymoon is constantly talking to staff members or having maintenance come to your room We were offered things that we never received, and were unable to use all the amenities The private, ocean-front hot tub saved our weekend, but I think Meredith Lodging has room for improvement in managing this property

Absolutely wonderful! We stayed a Thursday and Friday night in January in the Beachhead room The motel is very small and was super quiet, even when it was full on Friday night (we couldn’t even tell there was anyone next to us Our room was exceptionally clean, updated, the bed was soft and we slept great

The hot tub in the room was awesome! We used it several times On Friday night around 9pm, we started filling it up and the water starting going cold We decided to just let it run and by time it was finished, it was perfect temp I’m guessing they have a very large hot water heater for all three hot tub rooms 🙂 There is not a coffee pot, fridge or microwave in the room, so bring a little cooler if needed There’s a public beach access just a block away and you could walk to the casino if you wanted to The owners were super nice and have obviously put a lot of effort into making the motel comfy and relaxing We loved the old photos on our wall of what the motel looked like in the 50s And the little touches like robes, a little humidifier, a fan, wine and drinking glasses, a shade on the stained glass window to block the light at night, and a little ice cooler in the room Will absolutely stay there again!

Joolz Fernandez

We stayed in oceans 11 It was adorable- beautifully restored, clean and cozy It was perfect for a couple and one child

Made a full breakfast in the kitchen and everything worked great! You can tell this inn is a labor of love for the owners, it shows in every detail I wish we’d have been able to stay longer My only gripe was that there wasn’t any light blockage in the bedroom so it was very bright in the room and difficult to sleep If this is an issue for you, bring a couple of dark twin sheets and put over the shutter windows

Bryon Hudson

This is our first of many stays here We checked in about 30 min ago and the owner checked us in and was so kind and actually let us check out our room before we paid and let me tell you that this place is amazingly cute and cozy Our room has awesome wood (real wood) paneling with a really cool fireplace (gas) you step down to the bedroom and bathroom

This place has cool storm shutters on the windows too… It’s just done really really well and we look forward to our next visit to check out all the different rooms!

Highly recommend staying at this place Great staff and great rooms that are very nice and the room was very clean! Fire pits are exceptional! Breakfast was good as wellWe brought our small well behaved dogs and had a great time! Some of the other dogs staying at the hotel were obnoxious and acted like barking rats! I could have tossed a couple off the beach cliff for the seagulls

Overall a great place and will definitely return!

Kozmo617

I was very pleased with this establishment I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and had many hits or misses This place was a hit

The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and well maintained The rates weren’t bad and made it easy to choose this place over the many other in the area The room I got ruled and being able to head out to the fire with a drink by the ocean was the cherry on top Plus I was able to walk to a restaurant or two which made life easier I’ll be back soon

Amber

First time staying here and all around great place to stay! Great customer service and very attentive We travel with our two dogs everywhere and the lodge is very dog friendly which we all appreciated Our room was fresh and clean with great oceanfront views! The fire pits were also fun to sit out at night to enjoy

We would stay here again!

All the condos are owned separately so experience will probably vary quite a bit Room 25 (3rd floor) was really nice & clean throughout Beds were comfy

Kitchen was pretty new, clean, and had all dishes/appliances/cookware we could need The view was amazing It was stormy so going down to the beach wasn’t an option but you can see the ocean from the couch or one of the comfy chairs which is exactly what I wanted this time of year Price was super decent and customer service was great I forgot my tablet and they let us know right away, packaged it up with care and mailed it to me free of charge Only bummer was the pool and stairs down to the beach were closed but they stated that clearly on the website so we were prepared for that Overall very happy with the experience

Charity Silva

We spent 5 nights in room #38 The only big problem was the size of the bathroom, super small and I would not recommend this room for a large person or in a wheelchair The toilet and the sink are very close and you just about hug the sink as you sit down

The shower is good, plenty of hot water The other thing was we didn’t have a view In this room The decor and couch’s are old The kitchen was great with everything you need to cook , there is no microwave Over all it was good for the price

Me and my boyfriend have stayed at this hotel twice The first time was in a jacuzzi room, and wow it was beautiful The room was super clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable

The jacuzzi was fantastic The second time we had a room all the way on the third floor It was the exact same standards as the jacuzzi room I don’t have a single complaint about the rooms or the staff They’ve all been very kind and helpful A few days ago I even accidentally booked our next stay on the wrong days I called in the hotel and changing the days was so easy, the lady who answered the phone was professional and helpful I got an email confirmation before we even got off the phone with the correct dates Considering the competition around them it’s a fantastic deal This is our go to spot for vacations!

Ashlynne Mason

Easily my favorite place to stay on the coast is Sailor Jack’s! Ive stayed here many times and love it even more each time The rooms are very comfortable to be in with the best view there is We always try to get the spa room, their tubs are fabulously comfortable

Every room I have ever had has been clean, updated, and certainly an outstanding value Thank you Sailor Jacks!

Keely Johnson

Rooms are beautiful A but dusty this visit, and the sliding glass, on the 1st floor, has finger and hand prints Aside of those minor inconsistencies, this place is my fave

The front desk gal is rad Super fun and accommodatingThey have a gorgeous designated smoking area for those who partakeYou won’t be disappointed here!

Loved this hotel!! We had such a great stay here during our first trip to the OR coast The staff were so kind, the rooms were adorable, clean, and had an amazing view right on the beach The restaurant was amazing, our meals were so delicious and quick turnaround after ordering

The pool was out of order so they gave us a discount and one of the staff even offered my toddler a cute beach supply bucket and shovel kit for free So kind I have nothing bad to say about this place, will definitely recommend to others and hope to come back one day

Tina Giambanco

Very nice room with fireplace and comfy beds located right along the beach They were doing a bit of renovating, yet we didn’t experience any inconvenient banging or rerouting Very fair prices as well and located right near an amazing restaurant called Kylo’s

Truly enjoyed both location, quietness if the hotel and ease of beach walk to get the day started along with a jacuzzi soak Gym wasn’t open in time for morning use (doesn’t open until 10am) which was a disappointment, yet nothing that would stop us from booking again

Brittney Lee

Beautiful room, view and premises We had a wonderful time Surftides is a very family friendly hotel

The pool and hot tub was fantastic They also have a game room that you can play ping pong!!! They have a beautiful bonfire area and offer s’mores kits The only down side to this room was the beds, they were extremely hard and loud making them uncomfortable to sleep I enjoyed this stay so much I recommend it to anyone looking to stay for one night The beds are too uncomfortable for longer The Mist restaurant had a fancy menu but I would not recommended it for families

This is my second stay and it is just as wonderful as the first The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and service oriented The rooms are clean, smell good, and are well appointed

The breakfast buffet is well stocked with yummy and healthy choices There is a swimming pool and hot tub on site The grounds are beautifully landscaped The only negative about this preferred hotel is the parking The lot is large but the spaces are tightly packed with no room for oversize vehicles Arrive early, park well, and walk to the beach (only 8 minutes by foot) You will enjoy your stay

Kristina Stinnette

Came here for our first ever getaway and was definitely satisfied with our stay and plan to visit again Got a king suite with jetted tub and the tub did NOT disappoint It was huge

Staff were friendly We were fortunate enough to be right next to the laundry room after discovering I had sat in something less than plesent while we had been out earlier Had to get change and soap from the front desk and they were happy to help The staff and the perfect room totally helped us get a much needed, relaxing vacation for the first time since our son was born 12 years ago Thank you for all your help Cant wait to stay again

Roland Allen

We booked a King Suite since there were two of us, and that gave each of us privacy The room was on the second floor, yet we didn’t hear a peep from any of our neighbors – either upstairs of next door Both of us enjoyed being able to fully open our windows because the fresh coastal air was refreshing

This was my first visit to Lincoln City It was absolutely delightful

When we are younger, many of us have fond memories of our favorite aunt, grandma or family friend Going to their home brought feelings of comfort, laughter and peace Shirley at Brey House Bed and Breakfast hosts this environment with love and ease

The accommodations are cozy, warm and inviting You have great views of the ocean and Shirley is always happy to give local advice about places to go and things to doYou are less than a ten minute walk from the beach and cool breeze over glistening waves before youAnd the food The FOOD Shirley prepares amazing dishes and is sensitive to dietary needs and concerns I for one asked for a sandwich spread recipe I intend to duplicate at home But I feel it will pale in comparison to the secret ingredient of Shirley’s skilled handMy wife and I spent our first time here in absolute happiness and wholeheartedly intend to return many more times in the future Please go and experience the joys of Brey House!

Binit Banerjee

This is a very good place to stay The place is very clean, cozy and close to the beach The room where I stayed had a direct view of the beach and the hostess, Shirley, is very friendly

Room very clean and the view is amazing We will be staying back here for years to come The employees are very friendly The room had also a full kitchen Over all it was an amazing stay Thank you

Tom Connelly

We are very happy to have discovered the Ester Lee and will be using it for beach escapes from now on The one bedroom suite was just right A kitchen and two picture windows with fireplace in between

So relaxing and reasonably priced Unlike the motel rooms, the cottages have not been remodeled and are very vintage 1940s but the room was clean and had everything we needed The staff is very nice and down to earth Chris made us feel so welcome Bonus dinner tip – go to the Blackfish Cafe for fantastic seafood

It was just luck of the draw that brought us to this hotel in the north end of Lincoln City The reviews were encouraging, so we gave it a chance I’m sure glad we did

Everything about this hotel was top notch Darci, at the front desk, was friendly, efficient, and helpful There was a small store in the lobby with snacks, ice cream, soda, wine and beer DVDs were available to rent as well Rooms were clean with plenty of room for my hubby’s wheelchair to get around Breakfast in the morning included hot and cold selections Pool, spa and sauna were checked and cleaned every 2 hours After 10 til midnight, that area is adults only, giving mom and dad a break We felt safe there and both Thai and Pizza restaurants were within walking distance We will stay here again when we return

Came for the Great Oregon Coast yard sale (three nights) Room was clean, staff very nice Could improve on the breakfast each morning but that’s minor

Our biggest suggestion would be to heat the pool We chose this hotel because it had a pool that our children (15 and 3) could enjoy after a day or two after the sales We couldn’t stay in the water for more than a few minutes Best thing was waking up Easter morning to eggs hidden all over My 3 year old granddaughter was ecstatic with the 7 eggs she found! Special thanks to the manager for that! Will come back

I’ve stayed at this hotel once before & didn’t have an issue so I was excited about booking a weekend here We came in around 7pm on a Friday night, the staff was friendly & got us checked in right away I was kind of disappointed because the walls were super thin, we heard people walking/stomping/closing doors loudly all night

The bed was pretty old & uncomfortable We could feel every spring when we were laying down When we were leaving on Sunday, at checkout, I got the receipt for our stay & saw there was added charges on the total They tacked on a “celebration package”, which we never asked for but the guy at the front desk (can’t remember his name!) was super nice about the mistake & refunding me for the charge Definitely check your receipt to make sure it’s the correct priceOverall, it’s a good, clean hotel with excellent staff, just not sure that I’ll be back because we barely got any sleep with the noise & uncomfortable beds

I have stayed at this motel on several occasions over the last 10 years I have chosen it in the past because of its high quality and high class feel1st I would say that the hotel is clean, and the staff is very good what they do

You feel very very welcome at all times I stayed in 4 and 5 star motels around the world and the staff does all the right things like a real high end resortI do feel the facility itself could use some maintenance and some modernization Kind of feels like it’s still living on its heyday from the seventies Internet service is terribleThere is one computer available in the lobby if you absolutely have to get business doneThe furnishings in my room were cute and very artsy not very comfortable but artsy And the ventilation system in the Is hot tub area sounds like it’s on its last leg?I guess if I have to make a serious complaint it would be about the restaurant on the 1st floor It used to be a very intimate high quality experience that people came from all around to enjoy special occasions like their anniversaries The restaurant was clean And the food quality was acceptable but nothing to write home about If they got a real chef back there they should let him loose to do his own thing a little bit Without going into specifics I will say I was very disappointed in the restaurant staff Without going into specifics I will say I was very disappointed in the restaurant staff My waitress tried to make it good But there really is only so much she can do

Had an amazing experience with a beach side room! My friend took us out here and it was fantastic hearing the waves breaking off & crashing through the night super soothing The beach was maybe 60 yards away from the room very accessible Room had a full kitchenette so we had snacks and made some pizzas for some late night food

They also have pet friendly rooms i believe but not too sure Great place for a family vacation or a friends get together! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lincoln city!

So refreshing to see this place providing excellent service once again post-Covid My family and I really appreciated the very warm outdoor pool! So many kids want to swim but sometimes the water temp is too cold for them- so THANK YOU for heating up the pool Room service was polite and fast

Check in and check out was easy Rooms are cute and have the main amenities like fridge, microwave, and coffee pot Bonus that they have DVDs you can rent too! Kids loved Frozen II 🙂

Wonderful hotel in an AMAZING location It’s walking distance to all the Depoe Bay shops and restaurants and the views are incredible The room was a little dated (broken window blinds), but you can’t beat the price for the location

The whale watching was amazing from the property Comes with a free breakfast with oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, muffins, and yogurt Staff was very friendly

Location was great! Contactless check in and check out was appreciated during this strange time The rooms are nothing special, but are clean! Jeff and Sue replied promptly to any messages left either by phone or email We had a late check in and they emailed the arrival directions, left a light on and turned up the heat a bit so we’d be comfortable on arrival, which we were! We had a wonderful experience and we hope to return one day!

What a fantastically refreshing experience! The front desk was super friendly and efficient Our room & the grounds were impeccable This Inn allows all dogs (2max no size limit) and does a great job of lining out the dog rules in a way that is incredibly clear

I feel like anyone who stays with their pup will follow the rules, making it better for everyoneThe location is just perfect You can walk straight out onto the beach and it’s close to some fun shops and a museumWill definitely stay again

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in the whirlpool suite for our 4 year anniversary The view was beautiful, staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very clean, the bath is huge, and the bed is crazy comfortable! This room also had a larger fridge than expected and the kitchenette was fully stocked with all essentials for a couple including dish ware Bonus points was that it was very quiet

The view overlooking the parking lot, beach & bay was awesome as we love people watching Beach access was so close and easy to get down to The location is at the south end of Lincoln city which we really enjoyed The anniversary package was adorable and a great touch We truly loved our stay as it felt incredibly homey and warm We will be returning as it’s our new favorite hotel

My Mother (94 y/o) and I stayed at the Looking Glass Inn on March 6-8, 2022 This is not the first time we’ve stayed and every time it is like a private oasis at a very busy part of the coast We reserved a double queen studio and it was HUGE, beautifully decorated and obviously recently redone

Elegantly simple, comfy beds, fridge, micro, full-sized coffee maker–all the amenities one needs View was to die for overlooking the point where the Siletz River joins the Pacific Birds, sea lions, agates, shells and incredible driftwood everywhere Excellent crabbing and fishing from the shore, and beautiful, protected safe swimming areas for the entire family Everything just steps from Looking Glass Inn (Mo’s Seafood/Clam Chowder across the street and old-fashioned candy store/diner next door) Incredible prices, lower than most of Lincoln City for one of the nicest pieces of heaven on the central Oregon Coast 8 miles from Depot Bay and resident Gray Whale pods; few more miles to Newport It is and will always be our choice when staying at the coast The friendliest and most helpful staff, beautiful buffet breakfast comes with the stay

This place really rocked Literally as we left we said, “goodbye best hotel room ever” That being said, it’s not fancy

It has all you need and is at a price point that allows those with a limited budget, who sometimes have to travel with their dog friends, a comfy and wonderful place to stay Sure parts are outdated, sure the walls and bathrooms are a work in progress (it is currently being renovated) but it’s safe and comfortableI always have a hard time with hotel beds being too soft – memory foam or the sink-right-in kind, and my hubs and I need a firm mattress This one was perfect after a long day outdoors flying kites and hiking aroundThe staff are super friendly, the parking lot is easy for parking with some angle parking in the center for larger vehicles, but would be a bit tight for really large trucks with trailers to maneuver around The hotel is on the street that vehicles can take down to the beach, and has easy access right down to a great beach access area, which also has a public restroom area (also handy)I didn’t see a dryer in the room, but it does come stocked with soaps and such, the shower has good pressure and is roomy and comfortable, and everything was really fresh and clean smelling We had such a great stay!!

What an absolute diamond in the rough! Sure this place is dated but aren’t most coastal places? Our room was delightful and the views did not disappoint Beds were comfortable, hot water in shower and the room was cleanThe price point was very affordable and for beach front it was well worth it

We could sit by the window and watch the waves and people watching was awesome!I would book this place again

Charlie Carr

This place has a lot of positives The view is amazing and the rooms are clean, however a bit older They’re also a bit short on the ground floor if you happen to be tall (I’m not)

Also, two of the rooms have a private hot tub Like an actual one, not some jetted tub junkThe ONLY reason I’m giving them 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that when I booked a room, I booked one with a kitchenette Upon getting to the hotel an hour after check in started, they don’t have a room with a kitchen available As I’d planned to make dinner there, it was pretty frustrating having to go out for dinner and spend more money than I had originally anticipated Additionally, the mini fridge in my room didn’t have a freezer so I had to thaw one of the food items I’d brought

Had a nice birthday weekend here last summer, but unfortunately won’t be staying here againThe rate was a little high, but worth it figuring the busy-season, awesome beach access and new renovations Could use a dining table/chairs and more practical bathroom storage, but enjoyed the modern updates like the smart TV that you can cast streaming apps to

Movie night! The main reason I gave a 3-star rating is due to payment transaction issues BEWARE! My friend wanted to pay her portion of the bill at check-out, and the clerk verified that the remaining balance would be charged to my card on file She was having difficulty printing out the final bill and asked if it could be emailed I agreed since there was a long line behind us I never got the email, and it turned out that only my card was applied to the bill I was told by management that even with my friends name, last four digits, amount and date, the transaction wasn’t in their records So I emailed her a screenshot of my friend’s card charge, but never got a response or call back Still trying to get this solved and it’s ridiculous that a hotel can charge a card for an INVISIBLE room!

Caitlin Nail

We stayed in the one room suite with our 3 young children and were super impressed The hotel is very family friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for They let us check in early which we really appreciated

We also loved the beach access This is not a super fancy hotel, but is clean and is perfect for a family We will stay here again!

Julie Moore

The view and the room were amazing! We had an ocean front room with a balcony and soaker tub for 2 nights We loved that we found fresh robes in the closet! The tub was squeaky clean and very relaxing Loved that the TV swiveled towards the tub

The walk down to the beach is just a couple of stairs which is nice! The bed and pillows were comfortable Everything was clean and the front desk staff were friendly The section of the hotel we stayed in is brand new and they are doing a little bit of construction here and there in the surrounding area, but it did not affect our stay negatively The pool was nice and warm, the hot tub was clean and the sauna was such a nice touch It was slightly inconvenient to have to walk to the next building for pool access, but we had such a great time it didnt matter in the end There are lots of places to eat nearby We cannot wait to come back!!
