I am a travel coordinator for a studio movie filming in a nearby big city and I had to arrange for last-minute (less than 10 days from our expected stay) accommodations for my crew of 56 people Ms Kathy and her staff went above and beyond to prepare for my group’s stay

Everyone was extremely communicative, very receptive (to changes, etc), and exceptionally kind – it made my job much easier with them in my courtBetween the service, hospitality, and billing I had not one single issue (and if you’re in the biz long enough you know, there’s usually always a problem, big or small) Thank you Sycamore Inn!I highly recommend this property for both large groups and smaller reservations

The owner, Ms Kathy B, her staff, Stacy, Lani, Curtis, Matt, Nico, and the housekeeping staff (sorry if I failed to mention anyone by name!) WERE BEYOND, BE-YOND, PHENOMENALLY AMAZING!!!!! Their extreme professionalism, care, sincere concern, and assistance (AND IT WAS A LOT) WENT ABSOLUTELY ABOVE, BEYOND, AND FURTHER!!! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH

I JUST CANNOT IT WAS THAT GREAT!!!This hotel is clean and all amenities were provided (including a bath seat and wheelchair for a handicapped room!)I am SO, SO GRATEFUL for ALL of their extreme accommodations while I had to spend back-and-forth time at the Animal Hospital directly across the street! Our length of stay was unknown at check-in and the entire staff ensured us that we would NOT need to worry about yet one more thing! We were welcomed to stay as long as we needed!!!BESTHOTELSTAFF&STAYANYWHERE EVER!!!♡

This BW was pretty standard for a hotel of its age The room was clean and reasonably priced We checked in on a Saturday right before 6am the gentleman that was working the desk and setting up breakfast was extremely friendly and had helpful information about the area

Overall good stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the area

Stayed the weekend for mom’s weekend (4/1-4/3) with my daughter Very nice hotel and spacious, clean rooms Check-in was nice and easy

The front desk personnel Friday and Saturday were awesome!!! However, the front desk person on Sunday when checking out was rude and not nice The coffee was empty and I asked nicely if there was more and she snapped at me and said no there is no more, go somewhere else

For the price of $600 for two nights PLEASE put a refrigerator in the room

been coming to Oxford for 8 yearswe go out to eat and have left overswould like waters in the roomand continental breakfast from 8-10,at 9:30 when a customer comes down to the front desk because you’re out of coffee DON’T make lame excuses as to why you’re out and then tell me i can basically “go to my room and make it myself”,everyone knows how good that coffee tastes! Horrible front desk manners to the older woman at the front desk The young man on nights at the front desk,a very nice man, accommodating and kind

I would have to say this is probably the best Hotel in Oxford, Ohio It is just a couple blocks from the campus of Miami University of Ohio There is conveniently a dedicated floor in the parking garage just across the street

The staff is wonderful My only comments/suggestions on areas needing improvement: there was some evidence of paint peeling in high moisture areas like around the shower and around the AC unit – understandable but a good maintenance person on staff would keep things like that 100% Additionally the business center computer is running Windows 7, it got the job done but a little IT attention would go a long way However I can’t say enough how much I truly enjoyed my stay here and I will surely stay again the next time I return to Oxford

It was referred to me by a friend I didn’t know I had to request for room service I normally hang a tag on the door to have my room cleaned and have fresh linen and towels

I payed a hefty price for three nights I was told they were short staff that was not my problem neverthess damage is done That was my first and my last time

Matt Robinson

I was a Marriott Employee traveling on a employee rate, I arrived and was told I couldn’t check in due to not being 21 and that it was an Ohio law, which it is not I was directly lied to by both a manager and a front desk associate How can I be able to work at a Marriott and not be eligible to stay in one? We let 18 year olds stay the courtyard I work at, also in Ohio

I was told that as long as someone checked in that was 21 I could stay in and pay for the hotel, I just couldn’t check inWhat a joke

The room with two queen beds was very clean, but smelled a little musty I did encounter a carpet nail tack where the carpet meets the tile floor and the front desk was attentive to the situation The issues were not so bad that I wouldn’t book a room there again

The bathroom had plenty of space on the counter and shelf below The shower head had different types of settings The room includes a mini refrigerator The staff is welcoming The lobby has hot coffee and hot water always available The complimentary breakfast is between 6:00am-10:00am

Mary Hickman

I am so thankful that we found this clean hotel close to Oxford Park for the Epic Cup soccer tournament The room was cozy and everything we needed for the weekend They offered free breakfast from 6-10AM and COFFEE ALL DAY!!!! It’s near the heart of Miami of Ohio campus so there are great restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance

And they were very accommodating when we needed just a little extra time on checkout day to get back and pack

We stayed one night before college tour at Miami University I’ve done a reasonable amount of traveling for business and pleasure and believe this was the first time I’ve ever received texts from the hotel prior to checking in It was such a nice touch – asking for ETA and if there were any special requests

We arrived late and tired Check in was efficient and friendly The only hiccup we experienced was that the 1st room we were given had been overlooked in cleaning from the last guests But not to worry, we went back to the front desk and were immediately (and apologetically) given another roomI wish we could’ve stayed another night because the beds were SO comfy There were lots of outlets and charging ports for devices The bathroom was a little aged but clean and the bath towels were generously sized The room had a mini fridge and coffee makerBreakfast in the morning was very good and varied: small inlets, sausage, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and a waffle maker We are big fans of hotel “breakfast included” and Comfort Inn did not disappointWe would gladly recommend and will return if the opportunity arises

Samantha Groves

The staff was accommodating The room had everything we needed The beds were comfortable

The breakfast was good and there was variety The free bottled water was a nice touch The place was clean I was visiting my goddaughter She attends Miami University Price was reasonable and the location was minutes from downtown and the Miami campus

Marge Cummings

I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of the staff that I encountered Every request was handled promptly and cheerfully except one, which was understandably delayed The rooms were clean and attractive and the large breakfast area was a huge plus

I would definitely choose Comfort Inn again

We planned to stay one night but lingered for three, since everything about our stay was superb The bucolic neighborhood, only minutes from the Miami U campus; the enchanting garden around the mansion; the perfectly comfortable and beautiful rooms; the super-solicitous service by the owners; the complementary snacks and drinks avilable 24/7; all this and more The morning breakfast was the only feature that merely satisfied — the only feature that did not quite achieve it’s place among the best B&B visits I’ve ever had, among many; but that is a minor quible aside from the all-time high score in all other respects!

NO STARS ! Where do I start This place is for sale and if you have any experiences with these “inn keepers”, you’ll know why First, the reservation was made for wedding evening stay by the gentleman of the house

It was understood by him that the bride to be and her maids were to arrive early in the day to get ready for the wedding and have pictures taken Upon arrival, WEDDING MORNING, female of the house was a nasty, disgusting, rude witch She was clueless about the arrival of the party and continually yelled at them and the photographers the WHOLE TIME about too many people being in the room She stated she would have never agreed to this sighting “fire code” violations Of course the male inn owner was never to be found Due to the ridiculous and unprofessional behavior of the owner, the bridal party left and got ready at the place of the reception The wedding evening stay was cancelled but of course the new wedding couple were charged for the room Please be aware that these people are clueless on how to run a company and treat people respectfully

We really enjoyed our weekend at the lodge The staff was very friendly and helpful We had a little issue with our room but they were very apologetic and accommodating in correcting it

The lodge is a little outdated but I think that’s part of its charm Our son loved the pool and the game room we look forward to visiting again when the weather is warmer!

Tracy Weiss

When I called to reserve our room for an out of town wedding, my main request was that it be a pet friendly room I JUST called about our room and it isn’t a pet friendly room What are we going to do with our dog? He can’t be home alone for the night and it’s too short of notice to find anyone to watch him

I am so angry right now So beware of the call center reservation service!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!
