I highly recommend you add MrD’S to your RV experience It is a perfect location if you’re heading north or south

Ozark, AL has a great selection of restaurants to choose from Fort Rucker is close with the wonderful sound of freedom flying overhead The park offers full hook-ups, bathrooms, laundry room, cable, WiFi and pet areas Tina & Mark are the friendliest park managers and the owner, Gayle, is a sweetheart! The grounds are kept up and looks very nice We stayed for two months and enjoyed our stay

Erika Clark

Pet owners beware! The owner lets her pit mix dog roam the park unattended No collar, no leash I was walking my 20 lb terrier, and her dog walked right up to us & snapped at my dog

They instantly broke out in a fight I was screaming for help – there were several other men around, but they couldn’t separate them My dog got loose & ran off, and a man took the owner’s dog back to her residence He told me that the dog has it’s TEETH FILED SO IT CAN’T HURT ANYONE!!! WTH? That’s not okay, and the entire experience was horrifying I thought it would kill my 13 year old dog Look back at the reviews – this has happened before! The owner never apologized, we never saw her Very bad experience

Update 17November2021: The management reached out and relocated me to a room in the nicer “actual” Holiday Inn The living conditions are on par with every other Holiday Inn I have stayed in They really need to renovate the other buildings to the same standard because it is a huge difference if you are not in the main building

Worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at Breakfast is good though

During my husband’s army career, we have been sent to Fort Rucker several times We have always stayed at the hotel on post, ranging anywhere from two weeks to three months This hotel is consistently clean

Every staff member who has helped us has been friendly, kind, and remarkably helpful They always go way above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable! They even cheerfully switched out our mattress for us after our housekeeper asked if we were comfortable enough! Everything is kept up really well, from paint to pest control The grounds are always well maintained The rooms are a bit dated, but they are slowly remodeling a little at a time I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone for any length of stay!

Joshua Williams

Hotel exterior looks dated, but interior has been well refreshed Beds are comfortable TV is large with cable selection

WiFi was fast enough for streaming TV The breakfast had a good variety The biggest downsides were the small bathrooms, low hallway ceilings, and some wear and tear (carpets peeling up) All in all, the hotel is really nice compared to what it’s exterior would suggest Would stay again

I stayed here almost 3 weeks for a work assignment Housekeeping never cleaned my room which meant no clean sheets or towels, the trash wasn’t removed, the floor was not vacuumed and the room was not restocked with toilet paper I did get them to change the sheets once but I had to ask for it specifically and they were hateful about it

Had to go to desk myself several times to request toilet paper but always had to hunt the desk clerk who was always out back smoking A few times my key would not work and had to go to desk and they were rude about it The clerk was usually an older lady with glasses that was rude They did have a couple of other desk clerks that were polite but I didn’t see them much I had to provide my own trash bags and remove the trash myself Rarely got clean towels so I’m glad I had beach towels I only asked for my room to be cleaned twice so as not to be a bother but as I said the sheets were changed once and that’s all I even left on the weekends and stayed gone all day so they could get in but came back to dirty room everytime The room was nice and the location was good but the big issue was housekeeping If I was going to have to clean it myself they should’ve told me so I could bring supplies and if I wanted to stay in filth I could’ve gotten a much cheaper place They need different people in charge here because these people aren’t taking care of guests The breakfast was ok but the furniture where you were suppose to eat in the lobby had dust an inch deep you could draw in and the public computer had even more dust I’m not a needy person and I never complain but this was ridiculous Im pretty sure the lady over housekeeping has been here a long time and was very hateful the day I stopped at desk to request clean sheets at least but later saw me in public and acted like I was her best friend but nothing changed

although we found a bed bugs problem in our room, They did their best to solve the problem even though there was no available room to transfer us they help us to find another hotel and they even pay one night also, it’s because I booked the hotel through Agoda and it’s not refundable, they also help us so we can refund our money with no problem

I do recommend this hotel because of how they treat their guests, cleanliness, and being responsible and very helpful Thank you Fairfield staff for helping us, and making our vacation stress free

Best of the options in the area and overall a good experience; however, I’m a hard sleeper and don’t normally wake up to noises, but the walls were so thin I could hear everything happening in the hall or next door Additionally though the staff was nice the communication was lacking When I checked in they asked me if I wanted room service everyday

I said yes, however ended up having to go ask for it because no one came for three days at one point I also asked for a late check out, marylin was so nice and put a note on my account to allow me a late check out I stopped by the front desk on my morning of check out specifally asked if the note was still in there (give my lack of trust from the room cleaning incident) and was told it was I said “oh good because I’m going to shower and just didn’t want someone walking in” fast forward three hours, I’m finishing packing and freshly out of the shower and a housekeeper, without knocking, walks into my roomI told the front desk upon checking out and the gentleman did comp me $25Last thing was one weekday morning breakfast wasn’t put out at 6am I think someone was late for work, but no sign was posted and the front desk was not very apologeticOver all everyone was nice, it was clean, breakfast was good, laundry worked well And when I had issues with my government credit card at the end of stay they were very patient

Jodi Kellis

Very nice rooms, clean and comfortableLocation was perfect for our needsCheck in was smooth and fast

We left early (before the breakfast was opened up) but coffee was already out Thank you!!

When booking we requested a handicapped room, did not receive that 1 room didn’t have a coffee maker, the other room had parts missing for the coffee maker Very dirty (walls/fridge

one fridge had rust inside it) Requested extra pillows (willing to pay) and said no Couldn’t even put a toilet paper roll holder in they just sat the toilet paper where the roll should go Check in lady very rude It took 3 remotes to finally get the TV to work in 1 room and the other rooms remote was held together by tape Do not recommend

This was our first stay at a Home2 Suites, and it was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating The room was spacious and comfortable The beds and pillows were so comfortable and soft, and the sheets luxuriously soft

It was the best night’s sleep I have ever had in a hotel! The rooms were nice and quiet, too No disturbances from the guests on either side Thank you for such a wonderful experience I will definitely stay at Home2 Suites again

Karen Bradish

The “Home2 Guarantee” does not apply to this hotel! I reserved 2 rooms and both of them were extremely dirty Finger prints, smudges throughout all surfaces, mold in the shower and disheveled bedding One of the rooms had BUGS

The sad thing is that another guest overheard me complaining about the bugs and ask me if they had put us in room 212 She had just been moved out of that room and Management still put us in the room I complained to the General Manager, James who has no empathy or customer service I had to insist on being moved There were no rooms that morning but James was to reserve a room for when we returned in the evening He failed to let the front desk know so when I called back to make sure, I was told they were booked I insisted that they call James and we ended up with a queen room which the TV was broken and there was no blow dryer The next morning I went down to speak with James to discuss how he planned on adjusting my bill due to all the issues we had encountered He refused to come out from behind his glass wall and sent his Assistant Manager who was very professional but not familiar with our experience James was only willing to offer us 5,000 Hilton points which we declined In the end they compensated us for the night we experienced the bugs In addition, the cleaning staff was at the elevator talking about how bad things were and they did not blame someone from quitting and they were going to next Then I was also told by the front desk that they had other rooms with King size beds but they did not have the cleaning staff to clean them Don’t waste your time, Dothan has plenty other options that want disappoint In addition, I am still dealing with incorrect billing charges on my credit card The newest hotel does not mean the best!

Victoria LoRusso

Eh The worst Home2 I have ever been too Luckily it normally it good but this wasn’t

Bathroom was dirty No body wash the container was empty Woke up every hour the place was so loud no one cared Dog wouldn’t shut up at the other end of the hall and baseball families were somehow up late and left early Suspicious stain on couch Breakfast was absolutely disgusting; not sure when that stuff was made Gym water dispenser was empty and people kept being weird watching me workout when they came in for their laundry It was NOT worth the money I paid at all and the highlight was the sunset out the gym window I would not recommend nor return

First let’s start with no elevator Then before I even pull into the parking lot of the place my credit card was charged for one nights stay ok I understand that if I never showed up but dang check in is at 3pm I showed up 6pm SMH asked for a downstairs room none were available SMH so I had to carry 4 Bags 3 of which were pretty heavy up 2 flights of stairs that sucked but the positive is cardio completed lol next the refrigerator in my room is making some crazy krackling noise OMG!!!! So lastly the price isn’t horrible for 3 days but If I know I had to climb stairs I would have definitely booked some where else but staff was very nice room is clean furniture is a bit out of date and old but not a big deal it the STAIRS!!!!!!! for me lol

Highly recommend! Upon our arrival, Jamie greeted us with a smile and provided his immediate assistance by locating a luggage cart The lobby was clean, and provided complimentary waters Easy access from 231

Rooms are spacious, clean, and updatedI mistakenly chose a room in advance that was not going to accommodate my stay, and Jamie made ever effort to find us an alternate room that far exceeded our expectations We will be back and will continue to refer Ozark location! Thank you

Ken Minschwaner

Never waited this long to check in – took at least 45 minutes to get into room at 10 pm Room had 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no backup Hot breakfast advertised – but no hot breakfast

It’s not the customers fault if the employee checking people in has no idea what they’re doing It’s not the customers fault if the breakfast person no-shows I wouldn’t take the time to leave a negative review – but not one time did any employee say anything No “I’m sorry” Just an overall attitude of “I don’t care” Stay away

DK Zabe

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the Hampton Inn’s in southern Alabama This Hampton was a nice surprise Most HAmpton Inn’s are older, but if the lobby is clean and there isn’t a moldy smell, I am very happy! This was clean, quiet and no moldy smell! The beds were comfortable and I felt safe staying here

I would recommend it as a good traveling through stop!

This residence inn has super friendly and helpful staff The place is very clean and very conveniently located They offer breakfast but the offerings aren’t quite what they used to be but still good enough

Fitness room is just a treadmill and a bike but there is a planet fitness near by if you already have a black card membership Lots of restaurants nearby Definitely recommend

Angel Du

I have always had a home away from home at this Residence Inn, but this visit was not up to par I’m not sure if they’re short staffed or just losing their knack for excellence, but the room was not clean The arrangement of the pillows made me question whether or not they had changed the linens, and I ended up picking up Clorox wipes and Fabuloso to clean the room myself

Now, I know it’s sounds super particular, but I’ve never stayed with a Marriott property that stacked pillows only on one side of the bed It really looked as though someone just pulled the sheets up and stuck the pillows up there I practically lived here a few years ago while my house was undergoing extensive work and never had issues, but this past visit, I was very disappointed

Senior Living Guide

There are newer Marriott hotels in the area Although this one is well located It’s just getting a little on the older side

Staff was friendly and had ice ready to go, bc there are no ice machines, smart moveBreakfast was not good I highly recommend scrambled egg and a waffle iron

Decent little long term hotel The staff was friendly and the stay was good until a family with 5 kids was placed above with no where to move them to There were a lot of surprise charges that i didnt expect as well and the price of the room for 30 days was higher than I was told it would be

The rooms were clean though and had everything you need to work and stay in town

Miss Fortune

I do not recommend this hotel, and I’m not surprised why their rating is 2 stars we arrive at the hotel at 3 pm, Staff was very rude, A 3/4 of our room floor was flooded, leaked from the air condition, the bathroom was dirty and lots of hair, our bed has signage of used and also there’s a lot of hair too, the couch was hairy too and the cup holder of the chair was terribly dirty I called and I told the staff/front desk my concern she said exactly “Oh I can’t transfer you, there’s no room available” rude and veryunhelpfull

after calling many hours in the main office, they finally give us a room around 2 am

Ben M

Beware this place has crooked management and needs new staff Along with over a thousand dollars worth of electronics stolen from the room, when room cleaning wasn’t even requested Management claimed to “look into it” and urged to not involve the police once the police were involved the manager refuses to show anyone the hallway recording, insisting nothing is shown on there

Not only is the MANAGER refusing to show the footage they’re also avoiding the detective that is trying to review the footage This place is a joke and needs to be avoided at all costs

Absolutely beautiful place and friendly staff Room was clean, air was WONDERFUL to come into This was absolutely a breath of fresh air to stop in and stay while on the way to our final stop

Would love to stay here again on our way back home Such a nice and light atmosphere If you’re looking for a sign that “this is the one” to book Here it is! This is it! Oh, and they allowed our service dog with no problem or questions and we completely respect and appreciate that! Thank you! We will recommend here to anyone 🙂

Please ignore whatever bad reviews some folks have posted I am not sure what place those folks stayed at This place is bright, clean, very well maintained and in a nice safe area with nearby restaurant options

Staff were all super friendly Rooms are great and the best part is the blinds actually block out the light! (if you’re someone that matters to like me)

glynnis young

Some feel the comfort of the room is all that matters, for me how the staff treats their guest is just as important Im not sure if it was standing waiting for the manager and staff member to complete their conversation upon check in or the absence of a simple overview of the hotels most basic amenities; hours for breakfast/dinner, wifi info, heck I would have even given credit if they had mentioned information about the pool about 60 yards from the front deskTo add on to the lack of assumed basic Hilton Honors hospitality, we returned from dinner with not even a basic hello

I guess once he looked up at us he figured reading the paper in front of him was a better way to spend his evening rather than acknowledging the presence of guestsHighly disappointed but I rather know where not to go and repeat the same mistake twice

First room was not the best, but the front desk did great at moving us to another room that was just like the photos Would give 5 stars, but because of the first room and the cleanliness I did 4 The rooms were clean, but the fridge was dirty and the toilet seat was stained and should be replaced

The location is right off Fort Rucker by the museum So if you are visiting Rucker it’s great

Brianna Hicks

You have to call or be buzzed in to reach the front desk for check in It took us 3 phone numbers and finally finding another guest to get the receptionist We started with a half roll of toilet paper and never could get more from the front desk

Our towels, wash cloths, and sheets were stained Our phone in the room didn’t work Luckily, we were in town visiting family so we just needed it for sleeping Most likely will never book here again I’m ok with the covid restrictions as long as the workers actually answer the door when you buzz in
