This was our second stay at the resort and it was even better than the first Which was hard to beat I had mentioned it was our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make the occasion feel even more special

We booked the Hot Winter Nights package and booked a spa appointment From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we felt well taken care of and welcomed The all around service was amazing and we appreciate the special touches to help us celebrate! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful resort! I find the amenities very useful, the pool is a good size for many guests The architecture is pleasing to the eye as well as being very unique The Starbucks inside the resort is a nice addition

If you wish to see lovely decorations as well, visit in the winter time and the scenery/lights are quite nice! They put lots of work into them I went to the dockside for my birthday dinner the previous year and would certainly go back! If you stay here, the hiking is wonderful as well as the natural sites

Charles Schlimpert

Made three separate reservations for brief “get always” during the summer about a month or two apart Just finishing the second visit Neither was a good experience and will cancel the third! For all three we booked a “lake view” room

The first visit started with the staff attempting to put us in a “park view” room instead Only after I was able to show the confirmation on my phone and actually raise a stink in the lobby were we assigned a lake view room This trip we were given a lake view room on the first floor It’s like a dungeon (the room side walls are accordion door panels on both sides) and the only view we have is the back end of the boat dock My wife said she could probably see the lake if she stood on a chair! When asked if we could please be moved higher, we were informed that all the lake views were booked and given the impression that we should be grateful for what we have Very disappointing treatment for over $500 per night We check out in the morning and will not be back for a third disappointment

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Spokane Valley a couple weeks ago We were in town for work and it seemed pretty centrally located Super easy to get on to the interstate and really close to a couple streets that will take you straight into downtown if you want to stay off the highway

Room was standard, no problems; really it was a bit expensive for what it is The front desk people were great, no complaintsSpokane isn’t “dirty” but there are sketchy folks all over There was a guy “fighting a tree”, screaming, bleeding a bit and yelling at anybody who came close to him Nobody wanted to help and nobody wanted to call police either I don’t have the answers, but it was odd to me that the behavior was considered okay on hotel property I was a little worried about the rental car, but we made sure it was properly empty every nightThe breakfast in the morning was okay at best If you are just going to put out cereal, yogurt and fruit, so be it But if you venture into hot food like breakfast burritos, at least make sure they aren’t god awfulAll and all, the hotel itself is fine We certainly paid too much At that kind of price, we wouldn’t stay there again

I want to start by saying this hotel is amazing! We were on our way to Silverwood and called pretty early if there was any room available which we were told they did Check in was super fast, we were able to change and take a quick break before our adventure The next day we interacted with our housekeeper Melissa, she was the best experience we had! Told my kids how they can swim at the pool, we bumped into her later and gave us a recommendation on how to drink hot chocolate

Needless to say we will be back because of the great staff and amazing customer service!

Adam Davis

A very friendly hotel that goes out of its way to cater to guests More than you would expect from a hotel in this price range It’s not a cookie cutter floor plan

There are rooms that open to a patio with a water fountain, putting green, and outdoor lounging Other suites have an outdoor entrance directly to the parking lot and dog walk The staff keeps refreshments available throughout the day The breakfast dining area has both indoor and shaded outdoor seating The rooms have been updated recently with modern accents

This is an older Residence Inn that’s surely due for a renovation It’s about on par with other Residence Inns in that same category, as a building Maybe a little better

However based on the other reviews here, and given our Marriott loyalty status (Platinum, at the time), I’m quite certain we were given one of their better roomsIt’s uncommon for me that exceptionally good staff make up for an otherwise low quality experience, but that was the case here The experience wasn’t *that* low quality, but IMO, it didn’t match the price The staff here, though, as the other reviews would confirm, is truly exceptional I’d prefer the welcome feeling here over a cheaper experience at a different place on most daysThanks for an overall good stay We might just come back at some point in the future-Full time traveler, guy who left a package of salad dressing there and never picked it up

The hotel decor color and style is appealing to my eyes We appreciated the shape of our room, layout of furniture and size of room (King + fold out couch bed)

The front desk lady was nice and courteousThe indoor pool remains open until 11pmBreakfast goes until 10am :)The hotel is easy to find and not too far off the main hwy; but the hwy cannot be heard from our room

Mat Allred

This was a comfortable stay just outside of Spokane The location is easy to get to and you are close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores The staff was especially accommodating, even going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of

We needed an early check-in on our arrival, and both Jake and Sarai made sure we were able to do that We really felt like “guests” Also, Jenny at the front desk was super friendly and was able to quickly help me sort out a technical issue with the TV in our roomOverall, this was a great stay, and we will definitely be back next time we are in Spokane

The best part was the bed It was actually comfortable But be warned

Breakfast is not free…it’s 495 a person If the room comes with a Kitchenette be prepared to bring in all of your own utensils, they do not even provide plates All available for purchase at their store Room service available by request per usual ever since covid happened It does have a musty smell to the hallways The staff is nice Also bring some travel toiletries They provide the otiniest ones And once they are used you have to PURCHASE MORE! I travel a lot so it wasn’t a problem I was able to get the room under 100 bucks so I’m not complaining But also there is only ONE ice machine in the entire hotel I will definitely not make this scam artist hotel my place to go to

Huong T

If I could rate this hotel nothing I would Hotel was suppose to be ready at 3 pm We walked in and she had to check to see if it was cleaned

Came down and lied and said it was but when we got into the room, the bed sheets were NOT changed and their was Hair on the bed The bathroom was dirty and the whole place literally smelt like urine It was the nastiest, dirtiest hotel for that price Which I’m very surprise they have good ratings We immediately cancelled No apologies whatever so ever from the front desk girl or the manager We had to call Expedia to cancel The hotel charged us $80 cancellation fee for not even staying in the room for 1 min During the time I death with the cancellations other guests were upset because their room were still not ready They had the front desk girl clean and answer phone at the same time No one can get a hold of them Guy came down twice to speak with them and ended up upset leaving I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place Save your money and go elsewhere

Craig Mitton

Lady who checked us in was rude nearly to the point of hostile Like she was doing us a favor by helping us and then was very friendly to another staff member right in front of us which rubbed our face in itKitchenette had nothing no pots, no pans absolutely nothing but a stove top

They did not clean our room while we were staying not even so much as a new towel and dd not tell us there was no maid service Way overpriced for level of service we will not be returning

After getting up at 5 am…then traveling for 10 hours…our check in time wasn’t until 3 pm However our room wasn’t ready until hours later But the lady who apparently works there somewhere said, “we have to be understanding” as she went out for a smoke break

Our room was dusty, but the bed was comfortable and well made We brought our own pillows, towels, and washcloths Due to Covid concernsWe do sympathy with the staff, somebody quit that day, leaving extra work for everyone If we weren’t so tired, we may have been more understanding

erasmoag

This was our first stop on our way to doing a circle through the western US, we are a family of 6 with young children, the hotel allowed us to check all in for the same room, we carry two sleeping bags and inflatable single pads for our 7 year old twins and it’s like camping for them anyways It’s good for us when hotels allow us yo do this as we are trying to stretch a dollar on our month long road tripOnly down side, the pillows were a little too firm for my liking

Wr have stayed at other hotels where they have firm and soft pillows in the room This would have been nice here

Jesse L

This place is so outdated, dirty and moldy Mold was growing on the shower curtain and hair was not cleaned off the curtain The carpets were stained and they left a vacuum in my room

The sink was cracked and the refrigerator had so much ice I could not fully open the freezer door The ac unit was fallout out of the wall The only good thing was the staff was friendly They also ran out of breakfast I was unable to check in at 4 because the rooms were not clean yet Pay more and stay someplace else

We left an incredibly sketchy hotel we had booked online weeks prior and came to this La Quinta instead and WHAT A RELIEF Drew at the front desk was amazing Pool and hot tub are available 24/7, which is genius because why not? Breakfast was better than I anticipated, with sausage and fresh waffles you can make yourself

My dogs were welcomed and did great here The room was beautiful and large and very very clean AC worked great, fridge, TV and bathroom were all perfect condition Finding the one entrance/exit in the parking lot Is a bit silly, but a minor detail compared to the hotel itself – which was 10/10 for my family I would come back to this hotel every time I’m in CDA

Tamara Federspiel

It was my granddaughters 14th birthday We booked 1 night 3 generations of ladies

Went to the Chinook restaurant at the casino for dinner It was amazing The staff at this location was great The pool being open 24 hours was fun The continental breakfast was great also Even showing up 30 minutes prior to the banquet room closing ( long night) there was plenty of food and options The staff even closed up but let us stay and finish our breakfast Had an awesome stayTammy FSpokane,Was

I drove around for literally 20 minutes in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to get there (from the hospital across the street!) There is one way in—through one of many parking lots, but you have to find the right parking lot No entrance from the highway (west), or the bordering streets on the east and north, and worst of all, NO signage I almost drove over the curbs and grass between businesses in desperation before finding the one spot to get in

How hard is it to put up a SIGN with an arrow from, you know, the street where you should actually turn? (Google maps etc don’t work as they can’t tell you where exactly to turn either) Best to arrive during daylightI paid a whopping $250 to stay for 7 hours next to the highway in a cold room with a single thin comforter (I doubled it over) I thought $350/night for a lake view room at the CDA Resort a week earlier was a splurge In retrospect, it was a stealStaff were nice Not their fault

Fantastic experience Quaint setting oozing with charm and immaculately maintained, grounds and interior Room was elegant and clean

Breakfast was made to order and fresh Newly replaced hot tub and sauna were a great add-on Very friendly and helpful staff Highly recommend a stay here(I see a few complaints about the rooms not being large or “modern”, this is a place you go to enhance your experience with an older world charm, if you want a huge room with multiple big screen TVs, maybe this isn’t the place for you, but it is an experience everyone should try)

Lexy Long

The coolest place to stay in Coeur D’Alene We were welcomed as soon as we arrived Everybody was so kind and they delivered bread pudding and a beautiful rose to our room while we were settling in

They have two of the sweetest dogs playing around the yard We went to dinner at Beverly’s which isn’t too far It is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and bars on the lake but not bad The complimentary breakfast was a nice I had the homemade fruit pasties and the coffee There were also eggs, bacon, bagels and juices Super cute Inn, highly recommend

Michelle Haynes

Didn’t actually stay here so I can’t vouch for much of it, but stopped here on a Sunday after brunch with family who lives in CDA There was a small arts festival, live music, and some food going on in the garden area and out front in the street Really nice vibe, fun vendors

Went into the Roosevelt to look around Owner was decked out in vintage clothing, answered all kinds of questions Very accommodating Cool place

A good value

if you manage your expectations and compare it to other options in the areaFact is, CdA is wildly over-priced, more so now that the pandemic is over/ending/never occurred (this is Idaho, after all) Rate increases in this area are insane, though comparable to other regions that have a tourist-base Two rooms, each with king-sized beds, costs approx $360 (inclusive of taxes/fees) mid-weekThe good? Great central location Small town/privately-owned, non-chain, feel Designated parking spots Comfy (if firm) bed A/C All/most of the other amenities you need Contact with the desk was pleasant over the phone while making reservations Check-in was easyThe so-so? Dated decor The ‘theme’ idea is fun, even if the actual execution is a bit of a hodgepodge Cleaning is a bit suspect (there were spit-wads on one of the pictures in my room) The other room had an ‘off’ odorThe bad? Nothing really, again, if you manage your expectations You can stay at a chain and pay way too much You can also stay at a certain ‘resort’ and pay way, way, way too much Or you can stay at a quirky motel, save some money, and use it for other things Your callWould I stay here again? Sure Then again, I prefer odd places with a certain degree of quirky charm even if I would urge them to continue making small upgrades (new or no carpets, better cleaning, new bedding, etc) as their profits–slim though they might be–permitPS: Being ‘pet friendly’ is only a plus to those who like to stay in rooms with pets or that recently had pets in them For others, that might be a turn-off regardless of whether it is an emotional support or service animal (though it IS illegal to charge a fee for the latter)

Mechanic Man

Cute car-themed room, welcoming to our small dog We could not get either TV to work, not even the night clerk’s friend could help Kitchen had kind of a bad odor (someone had forgotten to empty the garbage disposal),certainly not a fancy motel, but the bed was comfy, area is quiet, and yes, would definitely stay here again

I love that our pets are welcome! Great location too–thank you for being there

The workers here were very professional and friendly There were homemade cookies for the guests which was very sweet The breakfast was adequate and had multiple options

The pool and hot tub were nice although the jets on the tub didn’t work when we were there The rooms were clean and affordable Very quiet atmosphere, but do be aware there is no elevator so if you are disabled, be sure to book a first floor room

Ciara White

The entire hotel is pet friendly, they don’t have any rooms designated non-pet, so this is not good for allergy sufferers We had to try three different rooms to get one that didn’t smell like wet dog The hallway smells like dogs

Unfortunately for the first half of the day (immediately following our 1 night stay here) I had an allergy attack and had to use my inhaler 3x On a normal day I don’t use it This is not what I expect from a hotel that costs $250/night All of their double queen rooms are downstairs/not on the main level, and so if you need a double queen room it won’t be accessible I had unfortunately hurt my foot elsewhere just before getting to the hotel so it made moving the luggage a little tougher The pool is wayy too cold The breakfast was very tasty and perfect for sending us on our way Loved the ice water available near the front desk The hot tub temperature was comfortable and pool towels provided

A Google User

Normally I would not complain about hotels We had terrible customer service from the time we walked in We paid over $200 to stay for 1 night

Online the pictures and reviews looked great It was not at all like that There were cigarette burns in the shower curtain and the toilet was dirty The room smelled like cigarettes The hotel is advertised as a “non-smoking” hotel We tried to switch rooms and we were put across the hall in a room with the same layout (jacuzzi tub) I wouldn’t want to go in that tub, let alone even let a dog in there I would not recommend this hotel at all We tried to get a refund but they were not helpful and are not giving us a refund at all

The check in at the front desk was easy to do The staff is great! Very friendly and very helpful The housekeeping did a great job cleaning up our room (we aren’t messy guests though) thank for attending to our requests before checking in and after

The pool area could be a little warmer and hopefully they get the jets fixed on the hot tub I do have a suggestion for in the rooms (maybe consider adding cup coasters so the furniture doesn’t get ruined)

Kelsey Diaz-Pacheco

Pros: Our room was clean-didn’t hear the traffic in our room,-night staff was very friendly- Got us new sheets very quickly-Breakfast was good- Hotel looked newly remodeled-Overall the building was cleanCons: Day staff at the counter could have cared less about us checking out- Hot tub was broken- Pool was freezing-House keeping was trying to get us out at 10:30 when check out is 12pm- Broken cover for ac/heat unit- Shelf missing in the shower with a metal piece sticking out- Towel rack wasn’t installed all the way and came off when we took the towel off, luckily my 2 year old didn’t get hurt- Sheets on the couch pull out bed had blood stains on it but they brought us a new set right away

Grant Hwang

Overall great value Area seems quiet, could hear the trains at a distance but it was almost like white noise Clean outside, clean lobby, very clean room

Pool very clean, hot tub broken as of April 2 2022Did not have the free breakfast but I can say the coffee is really good and I am fairly picky about coffee The breakfast is a step down from what you would see at a Holiday Inn Express in terms of optionsI would stay again for sure And will consider other La Quinta locations based on my experience here

Incredible experience My wife and I came here to have a “stay-cation” and to celebrate our anniversary belatedly Al and Daryl were extremely welcoming, enjoyable to be around and very helpful

We were able to bring our dogs with us (a must) and they enjoyed checking out the snow, meeting the goats and lounging around This getaway feels like home away from home We truly can’t speak highly enough of the experience and will be returning many times in the years to come We highly recommend this wonderful farm B&B, it was such a blessing Thank you again, Al and Daryl!

We stayed for three nights which was the perfect amount of time to see all of the farm and hike around the large expansive property The hosts are gracious and feed you a lot for breakfast They have everything a house would have so I’m sure if you forget to bring something on your trip and you ask, they would find a solution for you

The host make sure you’re comfortable with out being overbearingWe stayed in the Granny’s and Spring suite which is pretty large The bathroom is really large and the tub can fit two people with no problem All the floors are tiled which is great so that you don’t have to worry about messesThe rooms were very clean and the bed had a comfortable foam mattress The room with the bunk bed is not as comfortable, but good thing thats for the kidsIts a real bonus that you can bring your dog because its hard to find places where they welcome your petsI found it amazing that all the cats on this property are super friendly and follow you around The farm animals are friendly and the kids really liked seeing them up closeThe property is large and you can go for a hike up by the mountains where there is a creek too

We absolutely ADORED staying here! We cannot wait to go back The hosts were kind, friendly and made excellent cookies and a marvelous breakfast!! The farm animals, the trails, the views… stunning!! Our accommodations were wonderful, as the bed was SO comfy, the jetted tub was FANTASTIC and everything was perfect for pure relaxation My husband and I are already starting to plan return trips! 🥰 Thank you!!

The rooms were nice, the pool was well kept and heated well, the breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was also pretty delicious We really enjoyed the managers reception they offer from 5-7 to get a little cocktail to start the evening out on a relaxed note, and the kids appreciated the chips, sparkling water, and cute little toys they handed out

Pros:✔️Beautiful, Unique Lobby✔️Very friendly, accommodating staff & management✔️Very clean rooms✔️Comfortable bed & bedding✔️Quiet rooms, heard nothing✔️Continuous fan in room✔️Bathroom fan in room✔️Nightlight in bathroom✔️Large hot tub✔️Relaxed environment, no masks requiredCons:✔️Pool didn’t appear to be heated, cold (UPDATE- pool was heated and was so lovely on our recent 2 night stay!)✔️Pool floor slippery tileHonestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while We are clean freaks you could say and inspect hotel rooms a bit more than the average Kylie cleaned our room, as stated in a handwritten note with a couple chocolates

Loved our stay and we’ll be back when traveling through!***Update! Stayed here for the 3rd time and honestly of all the hotels we’ve stayed at with kids this is our favorite The staff is so kind, the pool area is great, they have breakfast in the morning and they accommodate late check outs! This Hampton Inn & Suites is beautiful! Teresa who greeted us at the front desk when we arrived made us feel so welcomed and taken care of We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The suite we stayed in was spacious, beautiful and exceptionally clean! The staff here sets the bar pretty high We were impressed with how beautiful this location is, the cleanliness, desire to help, provide a safe environment, great parking, – this staff customer service is outstanding! The location is fantastic

There are many surrounding eateries within walking distance Grocery store is very close by and Coeur D’Alene is absolutely gorgeous! You will LOVE staying at this Hampton Inn!

Fantastic location and the service at the front desk was fantastic Breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but reasonable for complementary Room was nice but the problem was there was a garbage bin full of someone else’s garage and crumbs on the floor

Clearly the room wasn’t properly cleaned There was also hair in the shower If the room had actually been cleaned properly it would have been a much better experience

Elaine Mary Marcille

We arrived late on a Friday without reservations We stopped at LaQuinta first and they were full The front desk person gave us a list of near hotels

I asked her for her recommendation and she suggested her sister hotel, Hampton Inn She even called them to see if they had a room We drove to the Hampton and the people at the front desk were so friendly The hotel is spotless and beautiful Only thing I would comment on is the mattress’s were nearing replacement The breakfast in the morning was the best I have had in a long time of hotel visits The pool and spa were wonderful This Hampton is also in a very nice neighborhood

We stayed here specifically because they are maybe the most dog friendly hotels in Spokane The report of this is trueWhile the hotel is a bit older- it is kept clean by the staff

They have a large indoor pool and jacuzzi and decent exercise roomThe staff was hard working and friendly- gave my Doberman treats and would stop and talk to himThe breakfast was good- about exactly what you would expect Not mind-blowing- but good (This is not a criticism- just a description )Overall good value – excellent place if your dog is traveling with you Would definitely stay here again

We stayed at the comfort Inn and Suites in Medicine Hat Albert The rooms were very nice and Sandra the general manager was great We had some issues with some rooms, we had 39 rooms booked

Sandra was very cool under the pressure of many people coming at her at once She solved all our problems in a timely manner Sandra and her staff went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had what they needed over the next 2 days The breakfast was good and they made sure that the athletes were able to take bottled water, fruits and fresh baked muffins with them every dayThank you so much,

Shantell Omalley

Very nice hotel! Upgraded us to a suite for free!! The front desk staff were friendly, easy check in! The room was clean and it was relatively quite, considering how close to the freeway you are! Great view of the valley! Easy access to the freeway and a few places to eat right across the street The spa and pool are very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed! For the price it was excellent and I would definitely recommend!

As soon as we arrived, we were met by a very sweet employee who asked if we would like some dinner She served all of us and brought our food and drinks to a table She mentioned to my kids that they would be serving cookies soon, and made them feel so special

The room was nice Clean, comfy beds Dove products in the shampoo/soap dispensers, which is a nice upgrade from standard hotel soap The A/C unit was a little noisy, but nothing too majorThe pool is cold, but the pool room is a very nice temperature, and the hot tub works! (Which is rare for a Holiday Inn) The pool and hot tub were both clean The laundry room was clean and all machines were in working order The fitness room was also clean and all equipment in working orderGreat stay and awesome employees!

This is a nice hotel We have always enjoyed Holiday Inn Express The staff person at check in was friendly and helpful but when I needed help later that night he was out smoking with friends

Seemed weird especially when his sign said he was called away to help someone The beds were extremely comfortable and that’s saying a lot because of my back arthritis The breakfast was great as usual, and I really enjoyed eating on the patio All in all, we would stay here again

Wonderful customer service We called and asked if it be possible to check in early because it was getting super hot and we were exhausted from the heat and riding our motorcycles They said yes we could and that made me so happy

Everyone is so kind who works there Very clean room and nice ones The pool area was also nice The restaurant had some great food, especially the free breakfast They had so many options for free breakfast and it was all delicious Checking out was very easy as well Whenever I visit again I would definitely still here again

Sara Smith

Super nice staff Best included hotel breakfast in the US Period

We spend more than half our nights in hotels, and I am telling you, this is the place to beIt was clean and tidy, rooms are perfect Everything works fantasticallyService dog was welcomed with a treat and toy bag They have a dog play area, and provide poop bags if you needThey had such great cleaning staffThe courtyard and pool area were unbeatable You’ve got the pool and hot tub to yourself most of the time (expect around dinner time on weekends, there are kids during that time)Kitchenette and storage were great We loved that it had a desk and very good black out curtainsOnly complaints: wish there was more light in the rooms, and there is only one elevator that takes about 2 minutes to walk to(this elevator inconvenience is equalled out by the fact that this hotel only has 2 levels, which makes it so stairs are short and convenient, AND it gives you lots of distance between the other people staying here I love the privacy)Overall, we would stay here again in a heart beatHighly recommended

Matthew Cakeboy1123 Bottman (Cakeboy1123)

The room was clean, with little dust Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning The employees were knowledgeable on most items

The kids had a blast they played every game inside and a few outside They had so much fun in the Swimming area The hot tub is perfect for the parents to enjoy their time while kids enjoy the waves

The hotel room was so nice and clean beds were so comfortable the family package was a good deal everything included Housekeeping was available when we needed anything while we stayed for two days

Melissa Mitzel

The kids had an absolute blast! Comfortable rooms and friendly staff My only complaint was when it was time to check out, I stripped the beds like I always do to make the housekeepers’ lives a little easier and noticed what appeared to be blood spots on the mattress pad under the sheets For the $400 I paid for the play and stay package, I hoped to have a little more attention paid to the cleanliness of the room

Danielle Marzofka

This hotel was disappointing, the prices do not reflect the lodging and amenities The best things were the room was large and the breakfast was top notch The decor was cheap and dated and good God why do they have old carpeting in a water park hotel room? The hotel should include water park access especially for the inflated cost, Hayden ID is nothing to write home about

Would never stay here again, it took 3 requests to get the infant crib, staff was disinterested in doing their job (except for the breakfast lady who was very attentive and caring), even when I called in advance to place the reservation, I should have paid attention to that red flag
