We booked this a couple months ago via Priceline, they had the best deal This Hampton/Hilton is AMAZING! Starting with the staff, you feel great the moment you check in I was treated to fresh baked cookies , so you know that also left a lasting impression

Everyone is outgoing and pleasantly enthusiastic The room is nice and very clean The entire hotel is also clean and fresh The free breakfast is delicious and also maintained by a couple EXCEPTIONAL ladies They keep it stocked and clean This is always such a nice treat If you don’t have time for breakfast, they also had some “happy kits” available on your exit, which were bagels kits in a bag ready to travelso sweet I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Prime Risk

Located just outside the entrance to the Legends Golf Club, it is a great option if you want to fly in for a golfing weekend This is a very well maintained and staffed Hilton property that we will visit again The facility is well cleaned and the staff is super friendly with help on local attractions and the best places to eat

(A little hint, one of those locations shares the parking lot with the Hampton Inn) Located just off of the 501 highway, parking is free at this location and has easy access to every part of Myrtle Beach

Clean and nice presenting hotel, with friendly staff Rooms and very were clean and comfortable for the most part I stayed in room 222 , If you have trouble sleeping don’t sleep in the rooms on the back half next to the elevators

I heard them all night The finger details on the room, in the bathroom it was really bright which it should have been Very roomy with the toilet tucked in Around the sink needs to be recaulked with White caulk not clear and needs cleaning Theres lent and dirt around the clear caulk, and using white caulk will make the gaps look cleaner Wallpaper needs work, pealing away from corners and ceiling, and could use a refreshAfter a thorough discussion with our other room members, I got word that there were either bed bugs and or roaches We definitely won’t be coming back until this issue is resolved

I just recently stayed here during my vacation and I have to say it was an okay hotel The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of the boardwalk and it’s close to everything at a walking distance The only thing that I did not like is that they don’t have housekeeping to come in and clean your room

They also give you coupons to get two free coffees every day at their Cafe which is good if you like coffee I wish they would offer free water as a complimentary as well but they don’t For people with disabilities that are planning to stay in this hotel I have to warn you that you need to get a room that is wheelchair accessible The room that I stayed in my wheelchair could barely fit and I’m using a manual wheelchair We had to move the bed around so I could fit It’s a great hotel it’s not too fancy but it will do!

Carmen McKnight

The staff was friendly and accommodating The room was clean, and the view was spectacular Great location, walking distance to several restaurants and attractions

The cafe in the lobby was great and the lady working there was very friendly and helpful The coffee was really good too I will definitely stay there again anytime I am in town

Chuck Pasky

Staff is friendly from check-in to check-out Hotel is clean and inviting Room is clean, sanitized and comfortable

All staff met in between our visit were friendly and quick to help with any questions Pool is clean and plenty of complimentary towels to assist in your comfort The breakfast was the cherry on top of the great stay, we did not want to leave! Thank you so much for a great stay, we will be back soon!

CC Lashay

This property was OK for me and my family It is located very close to Broadway on the beach where you can literally walk to everythingHowever, some of the rooms are a little dated

Our room wasn’t very clean it had a few crumbs on the floor but we did not complain because we understand that there is a shortage in housekeeping Also, our tub had rust around the ridges The doors were not painted all the way Basically, it looked like a quick paint job A remodel that went way too fast **See pictures belowThere is a full hot breakfast, but don’t expect to get bacon if you are staying on the weekends There were pork sausage, turkey sausage, and pork sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and pancakes of course The first time I ever stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and didn’t receive baconOh well, wouldn’t wanna stay again on the weekends and definitely would not pay the price we paid for one night The price is about $200 plus a night and you are not getting a $200 plus a night experienceOverall, the stay was pretty pleasant, but it’s not a whole lot to do at the motel the pool is outdoors We did not access it during our stay It didn’t look very clean

Wendy Wright

While traveling often for work, I have found this hotel to be one of the best I have stayed at in South Carolina The staff is very friendly and helpful from the time I walked in the door Every place in the hotel was immaculately clean! The rooms are well stocked and the bed was very comfortable

Breakfast was hot and fresh I will definitely return every time I’m in the area!

Great location: lots to do directly out the door of the lobby, and the oceanfront is only a few minutes drive Front desk staff were helpful and kind, not only to me, but I witnessed several situations with other guests and staff as well The lobby and guest areas are bright and clean

The hotel room was perfect; clean and comfortable We did not try the breakfast as we had other plans Key card access to the building at night, although I was concerned that there is no key card security on the elevator itself, meaning, anyone could just walk into the building from the bars & restaurants outside and easily get up into the hotel rooms area Overall, though, I would recommend this location

TraviSometimes <3

This is such a nice hotel Randy is one of the nicest front desk people I have ever met He made my friends and me feel very welcome

He was super helpful on the entertainment near my hotel While on my stay, Pat (manager) was able to help me add another room so my friends could bump with me Great hotel great people and a great time Thanks Hampton on Broadway ❤️

Jordan Pethtel

Friendliest front desk people I’ve encountered in many trips Pat, the guest services manager, was especially eager to do anything we could possibly ask We had a normal checkout time of 11 am and he kept our bags behind as we toured for the day since we had a late flight out

He also encouraged us to use the airport transportation on grounds which we did not know about ahead of time He has an eager attitude to help guests in any way and it was a delight any time he was working Everyone else was great as well but he stood out

We checked in on December 31 for a one night stay The bed was comfy and the room was mostly clean There were some stains on the carpet near the door, and what looked like a previous occupants makeup on the ceramic in the bathroom

The rest of the room was very clean Why I am giving three stars is because at 8:30 this morning, a cleaning employee tried to barge in my room Thank goodness I put the metal latch over the door The loud abrupt noise was so jarring that I could not go back to sleep Checkout was at 11:am and at 9:00 my key card no longer worked for the door I brought this up to the attendee at the front desk during check out and she asked for my room number and said “wow” and then said everything was in order and to have a good day Overall the experience was okay and I would stay again but I would recommend putting the do not disturb sign on the door

Michele Stohon

Had a king room on the third floor Spacious and clean Bed was super comfortable! Air conditioner unit worked great, kept the room a tad bit chilly as we like it

Breakfast was good, typical hotel Breakfastmore importantly the coffee was very good! All staff we encountered were friendly and professional Would definitely stay here again

Sara A

My first room had a very musty smell and you could see mold growing on the AC Second room was less must, only tiny bits of dust and mold on AC, but still just skipped using it Fridge made horrible noise all the time

And the KICKER was all the BUG BITES I came home with after two nights Bed bugs? Fleas?I’d give this place 0 stars if I could Maybe 5 because the sheets were surprisingly soft for such a disgusting place

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Sheila went above and beyond to accommodate my travel plans My flight arrived after the posted front desk hours, but she stayed late in order to check me in When I checked out, she also offered to hold my luggage in the lobby so I could enjoy my last day unencumbered by my luggage since my flight didn’t depart until much later in the evening

Sheila also lent me a beach umbrella and a cooler during my stay, which was a huge help as I traveled very light Another employee, Trish, even lent me a book to read on the beach after I finished mine on the first day These little touches made a huge difference in making my last minute vacation comfortable and enjoyable The customer service I received here was unmatched! Totally recommend supporting this small business— they really treat you like familyBeach access is only a couple hundred feet across the street which is super convenient, and the kitchenette in the rooms is a huge money saver if you choose to make breakfasts and lunches in your roomPro tip: the fourth floor rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean!

Rachel

Stayed for a week at an efficiency room and loved it Room was a little outdated but very clean and beds were comfortable I also saw the pool get cleaned every morning before it opened which was wonderful

Only minor issue was that they did not have a washer and dryer available to use but other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay I definitely recommend the Darlington Inn!

Mimi Smiley

I stayed the entire month of February at The Darlington Hotel and wish I could leave 10 stars Sheila, Jeff and Tricia treated me like family The hotel itself was very clean and safe

I had an efficiency with stove and full size refrigerator and all the items I would need to make a meal My ocean view was beautiful and I was able to bring my best friend Tilly my 4 lb poodleGreat place and I highly recommend!!

Gorgeous resort Not as fancy as you would expect, but really damn nice modern rooms We had an ocean view room

The view was amazing any time of the day Only slight issue for me was the loud music until around 11pm Still, with the door closed and the TV on the sound wasn’t an issue This is definitely worth the money With all the pools, access right to the beach definitely worth it

Stefanie Fuller

Super friendly staff The gentleman at the Cafe each morning was simply the best Also, we got ice cream one night just before close and the attendant there was awesome! You can tell they care about their product and service and take pride in what they do

from the cleaning folks to the front desk and service staff We will definitely be back!Guest access to the beach from the patio was a wonderful perk

Colin Martin

What an amazing resort! Staff was so friendly and helpful There is something to do for the whole family We have 3 small children and we felt safe the whole trip

We will definitely be back in the near futurePS: Yes, you can smell weed while you are outside That has nothing to do with this resort That is every resort in Myrtle Beach

Rooms were super clean!! Loved that!! Right across the street from broadway at the beach and down the street from the Hollywood wax museum and helicopter rides Restaurant was great, chicken wings on point! There are renovations going on outside but no biggie, the inside of hotel was exceptionally clean which I appreciated, however I did see a small brown bug in the bathroom one morning, immediately killed it, and was on the lookout the rest of the trip (hence the 4 star rating) front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful Outdoor pool was great and clean as well

Would definitely stay here again, hopefully we won’t see any bugs during our next stay!

Jordan Mitchell

Here for a wedding weekend trip, so not a long stay This hotel was good but not great Exterior renovations going on and there’s no mention of this on the website or in an email when you book a stay

I’ll start with the good: rooms were very clean and spacious with a sofa couch Bathroom small but clean as well Definitely up to Marriott standards I wish the AC worked a bit better but overall, the room was greatTo the not-so-good: First is the price I should’ve just paid a little bit more & stayed oceanfront The on-site Starbucks tasted nothing like a regular Starbucks but charged the same price As a Marriott Bonvoy cardholder I stayed in NYC a week ago & they got me in a room at 8:30 am on my check in date Showed up here around 2pm & was told our room wasn’t ready yet Check in supposedly at 3 pm so not a huge deal, but stuff like that gets you 5 stars in my book It was a good place to stay for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t want to spend an actual vacation at this location

Coralita

My hubby booked through Marriott Bonvoy for a 2night stay We were definitely surprised to see the renovations and limited parking I was not pleased with no mention of it so I asked to see the room first and glad I did! The rooms are not worth premium price, the elevator was broken, and the pool looked dirty and small

We quickly cancelled our reservation and found a much better ocean front Resort for roughly the same price! We did try to stay with Marriott but the manager said he was completely booked and didn’t even bother searching for another location Oh well there loss not mine

The room was clean, the ONLY issue I had was the pull out sofa wasn’t very clean, but it wasn’t nothing to dust it off The beds were comfortable The front desk lady was very nice and friendly, she allowed us to check in early

The maintenance guy was nice, as well The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach We will definitely be back to stay!

Victoria Barton

Owner is very nice! The room was really clean, it looks like it has been remodeled recently, very updated and modern The pool was also very clean, the cleaning chemicals in it was not over powering, the size of the pool is perfect for younglings and adults! The motel itself is very cute! The color scheme is really pretty I had a great time while staying here and never had any problems

Brittany W

Booked this last minute & out of the other options this place was the best one The price was unbeatable, our room was very clean as well as the pool, staff was friendly, & it’s across from the beach, only a short walk You can tell they recently renovated this motel, it’s well kept

Side note: the beds are super comfy! When adjusting the shower temp the hot water may sneak up on you, it’s pretty sensitive but hey, it’s hot water

Hotel was clean, comfy and nice The staff was very friendly We flew in late so having a restaurant and little market on site was a huge plus

The kids enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub Smaller size but not crowded Our only complaint, the pool needed to be cleaned a little more but didn’t bother our kids! We would stay again

Dominique

So far so good I saw a previous post about the decorative curtains not closing Don’t be alarmed there’s black out curtains

Another post mentioned expensive snacks but I personally think the prices of the snacks are reasonable and customary It’s about convenience The location is great It’s near the beach, the mall, and too many food spots to count

Jay Baker

In town for the Myrtle Beach marathon and decided to give this place a try Location was good located right near the mall Not close to the strip or Broadway at The Beach but not far either which is what we liked

Away from all of the hustle and bustle and wild crowds Windy at the front dusk was exceptional and very welcoming! Our room was clean and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay

This place was super nice The condo was clean and everything was in working condition The washer and dryer worked great

The mattresses were very comfortable But most of all, the attendants were super friendly and helpful They were very attentive to making our stay the best it could be The people gathering the trash, bringing new towels were always friendly and kind I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to friends and family

Makeda Wells

Best hotel experience I’ve had yet We were able to check in early and room was super clean with a well stocked kitchen Super family friendly with easy access to the beach

Pools, hot tub and lazy river were all great and super clean Love the bar by the pool but wish it was open more hours The only “issue” was the parking We had to park across the street in the overflow parking most days It was Memorial Day weekend though so that may not be an issue normally Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in myrtle beach!!

Sally Dougherty

We are snow birds and have been at Paradise for a month This resort has nicely decorated rooms, it’s clean with lots of indoor parking The pools and hot tubs are maintained well at the perfect temperatures

The beachfront is huge and kept clean by the parks dept, and we see police patrol routinely on the beach Housekeeping is very good My only complaint is that we have to wear gloves and a mask just to get our to-go morning coffee from the Sandals restaurant in-house The manager “my love” is a bit a over the top with rules that are not state required at this stage of Covid

This is an “older hotel” but very well maintained and run We found it to be extra clean, very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed There is a beautiful outdoor’s pool, fitness room

Breakfast was not ample but sufficient and good The location is amazing for shopping or entertainment at Broadway at Boardwalk This hotel was priced very reasonable compared to the other nearby and newer hotels It had a 4 star rating with good reviews to even though it was older we took a chance and we were VERY GLAD we did! We’ll be back! Highly Recommend!

Gabriel Watkins

I don’t think I have ever experienced friendlier service I really wish I got the name of the guy at the front desk, he was amazing Dude just remembers your name, it really makes you feel welcomed

This hotel is great where it counts It’s clean, it’s comfy, and it has a great location Pool is very well kept We had an outlet that didn’t work, and the shower door let water leak onto the floor, but these are not issues that took away any joy from our trip Breakfast seemed good, but I don’t eat breakfast much, so I can’t really comment But my family enjoyed the offerings I highly recommend staying here if you vacation in Myrtle Beach 5 stars without hesitation Thanks for everything!

Girma Kumsa

We stayed at this hotel last year (2021), and we loved it then This year, not so much We had 3 rooms booked for 5 nights

The price was higher compared to last year; SPA pool was closed during our stay; front desk and other staff were not forthcoming to fulfill our request; the number one reason I am giving 2 star is the cleaning service I requested the rooms to be cleaned more than 2 times on different dates I was told that they needed 24hrs notification Which I’m okay with But, no one showed up to clean our rooms even after 24hrs notification No one told us about the cleaning procedure Had I knew that they don’t clean rooms any longer, I would have stayed at Airbnb and paid less for the rooms I like hotels because they clean rooms for you Location of the hotel is the reason I did not give 1 star Location is good

Recently stayed here and it has some pros and cons for sure Good customer service at the lobby Decent prices and the pools are amazing I loved all the choices and places to swim

It has 3 hot tubs 3 pools and I think they were all heated which was nice and a kids area with cool water things to play with My kids loved the pools It’s on the beach also a plus The room however didn’t feel as clean as it should we didn’t have a broom in our condo either so that was annoying but we did ask for one The room was rundown like our bedroom door would not shut right and the air conditioning was awful here the condo stayed warm and hot and no ceiling fans so we had to go buy a box fan But our bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub was incredible What I disliked the most was there seemed to be a lack of enforcing the rules here like its a Smoke free place yet so many people were smoking, our neighbors would smoke weed every night and it smelled our condo up so badly The teens and kids were out of hand at the pools and super rowdy I would not come back here but had a good enough time to give 3 stars

Reasonable price for our side unit Very clean space, linens clean A bit dated but the cleanliness of the unit and the friendly staff were a 5 out of 5

It would be nice if the unit had coffee filters and coffee/tea intro pack We didn’t cook but we used the washer and dryer and they worked The pool area and beach were fun and it’s a short walk to Wicked Tuna and the pier which was only a couple dollars to go out on I would stay here again Also being a little bit of a basic space I think its pretty perfect for a small family One negative is the walls are thin and at a few points I could hear the neighbors so clearly it sounded like they were in our unit A positive is that I was on the beach with a nice view and I didn’t care

WORST PLACE EVER! The entrance of hotel smelled moldy and muggy! The floors were wet and the elevators smelled like people’s sweat and other The rooms are very out dated, but very clean However, it had such an awful smell, not even a freshener helped

The pool was like a zoo… full and I mean FULL to capacity I think there was people in the pool that were not guests of the hotel People were not wearing their bands and no one was monitoring We were interrupted during the night by security twice accusing us of making too much noise and even a guest came banging at our door It was very scary! It was just my daughter and I and we were already in bed Security didn’t even come and speak to us, but automatically accused us and rudely yelled at me I told him it was not us, but he did not listen It was SO NOISY People with loud music and banging and yelling in the hall way at night The latch on the door was broken The smell of seafood in the hallway ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! For the price we paid, we received less than an ounce of shampoo, no conditioner, a bar of soap and cheap toilet paper Nonetheless the cleaning staff was cordial and helpful The outside of this hotel looks new, but the inside…think twice, do your homework and research before reserving

The management and staff were great, appropriate discounts applied, really efficient If they oxidized the hotel and removed the terrible 🚬 smell it would have been 10 better Had to sleep with our door open from the balcony to keep fresh air circulating in

Bathroom walls had some grit or sand on them A few minor inconveniences, but we stayed there for two days If it were terrible we would have left The price was good convenient location Down stairs parking🤪🥶🤯🤒😱

Was a good budgeted vacation for us We had a good time, only stayed one night but worth it Rooms were ok for what you paid for

WATCH OUT FOR THE COFFEE MAKER Looked inside ours and it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned out in a few weeks I think the mold family had it’s own area code on that one Bathroom was cleaned pretty good The little kitchenette wasn’t too bad Really didn’t use the oven but it did work, I checked it Fridge kept everything cold Beds weren’t bad, our room was on the third floor right over the pool Had it’s own private way to get to the beach All in all wasn’t too bad There were people in the office around the clock as well It isn’t a high classed hotel but if your looking to have a budgeted family trip then i say go for it Yea there is allot of things that could be better when it comes to staying in a hotel room but it’s the memories and fun you have with your loved ones that makes it really count I love seeing my family have fun

Motel was not in the best condition First time staying here since 2008 or 2009 First thing of notice was the old musty smell

Walls and ceiling had cracks and holes Microwave was dirty The burners on the stove were not level Did not offer to change sheets in our 5 night stay Management and staff was friendly and did provide towels and wash cloths when needed Just need some upgrades and repairs Will consider staying there again if improvements are made Consider painting the interior and replacing the old carpets and have your room cleaners do a more thorough cleaning

This Hampton Inn must have been an older hotel that was refurbished as a Hampton inn ( can tell by the styling) The lobby rooms are nicely decorated with the seacoast in mind There are several rooms that you can sit and relax along with outdoor seating protected by the sun

The room is clean and the view from the balcony is exquisiteMost of all is a shout out to all the folks working at this Hampton Inn Everyone is so friendly and I especially want to thank Kelli, the guest service manager, who overheard me saying that I miss the fruit salad at breakfast ( guess Hampton inn stopped that) and then arranged to have a plate of cut up fresh fruit for me Fruit that they didn’t have at breakfastWas that not nice? I was thrilled and so appreciate the extra effort Kelli and folks made to make my stay specialI would highly recommend this Hampton Inn for Myrtle Beach and if I come down again, will plan to stay hereSincerely,Cindy

Awesome clean hotel room Front desk staff was super friendly and nice I wish I researched that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant before I booked

The hotel shuttle is great and the drivers were awesome! However they only take you in a 3 mile radius I wish I knew restaurants were a bit further Definitely not a fault of the hotel! We ubered to Broadway at the beach and had a good experience there Airport was super close by I thought we could have walked to the Boardwalk but just didn’t feel “safe” Again the shuttle takes you there with no problems Overall a fun quick get away but not sure we will be back Breakfast was a great addition to our stay!!!!

Pros: Great location right on the beach with all rooms overlooking the ocean The view from the balcony was stunning This hotel is close to lots of things, including restaurants and shopping

Never felt like the beach area was crowded, even though the hotel was busy Free covered parking Loved that there were enough beds for all 5 of us and they were actually comfortable Full closets in bedrooms Bathroom had both a full tub and a stand-up shower The full kitchen and big table were nice The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful We got early check-in with no issuesCons: Lots of noise from people playing loud music at all hours of the day and night The pools were in constant use and looked pretty gross Room was kind of outdated with old fixtures, carpet, etc Long lines/waits at the elevator Breakfast was mostly the same every day – would have preferred more healthy options than just apples and bananas

The staff were all wonderful They were funny and kind The pools were all adequate and I enjoyed not having a long walk to the beach

A lot of the other hotels have a much farther walkWe stayed in 1605 and it was clean and had a beautiful viewMy only complaint is my air conditioning was out for 24 hours It was brutal They did offer another room, but it was well after 10pm, and getting us all into another room would have caused more stress than it was worth since we were leaving the next morning I do wish we would have received a discount on that night At $300+ a night, that really was unacceptable

Checking in the staff were very friendly and helpful by answering questions we had The condo we stayed in was cleaned and ready for our stay We really enjoyed our stay with the kitchen and bathrooms being really nice

Access to the pool and lounge area and walkway to the beach was very nice! The oceanfront view was hard to beat! Definitely recommend this resort over others around here Thank you everyone at the Grand Atlantic!

We stayed for a week in a one bedroom condo It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly When we needed towels, we just called and it was delivered

Same with other items like soap and dishwasher detergent We had an issue with the dishwasher running, but maintenance quickly resolved it for us An in suite dishwasher and washer/dryer is a huge plus!! We are already thinking of our next trip Thank you for a wonderful stay!
