The hotel itself was visibly very nice but I came here for a good nights rest and the bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable ,hard as rocks ,was unable to sleep ,my other complaint would be the older man ,didn’t get a name ,who answered the phone when we were trying to get information ,everything was very difficult for him to comprehend and do ,phone had to be passed to a woman working there who was very quick and efficient ,did everything correctly ,when we got there it was her and him again ,once again he didn’t understand how to do anything at all ,was very very slow at every word and action ,and she had to intercede ,if she wasn’t there we would’ve never been able to check in

This was my first time visiting Pomona and this hotel was great Easy check in, free cookie( my sister said it was delicious), clean room, close enough to downtown Pomona I would definitely stay here again

The only thing I would suggest to you is to download the Hilton honors app before arriving and making a profile because you will use that as your key

Mary Shaw

Booked a block of rooms for our son’s wedding this weekend The rooms were spacious and well maintained Front desk clerk, Chris, was the best part of the stay because he was helpful with our needs and requests

Restaurant has tasty food but closes way to early Only downsides were the main elevator not working and the property needing a bit of a make-over

Jessica Perry

While it will always be known as the Shiloh Inn to me, this Double Tree is much nicer than I had anticipated We booked it because of its proximity to our family and because it’s a Hilton property Knowing the area, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were and even though we were near the restaurant which was booked with parties both nights of our stay, the room was quiet and comfortable

Since we are former locals who still have family in the area, we will absolutely stay here again when we’re in town

Lets start Our room safe was non functional upon arrival, which was fixed by the maintenance guy later Our ironing board is was broken, which the staff replaced with a full sized one

The fire alarm ran out of batteries and started beeping around 2 am, when the maintenance guy had to come in our room and replace them In addition, there was a cockroach the crawled right into our room Would not recommend

I have been staying at this hotel consistently for a very long time now The front desk receptionist ” Destiny ” , I must strongly commend She has gone out of her way to make my stay here the most wonderful experience

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous atmosphere Lush green plantings, updated decor They take full advantage of the outdoor spaces with appealing lighting and plentiful seating

The pool and hot tub areas were gated and centrally located The room was a bit smaller than expected but very clean and comfortable The bathroom utilized a space saving pocket door which was unique No microwave but a small fride and all other amenities including a small safe I loved the private balcony The staff were all very friendly and helpful, everyone I came across greeted me with a kind word or smile The only complaint I have is that the bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but I still had a great night sleep and the bedding was top class

Kate Hurley

This is an exceptionally pleasant hotel Quiet, pleasant rooms with a nice green courtyard Very nice staff

I was there twice during COVID and everyone was very respectful of health guidelines As a petite woman who often finds hotel pillows to tall and puffy, I appreciate that they have softer pillows A small thing but much appreciated

Jennifer Diaz

When I worked in the area I would stay there instead of driving one hr to get home I worked until 4am, so it was a convenience to stay 5 mins from my work Check-in was quick, staff was great and the rooms were awesome for the low rate I paid! The toiletries they provided were top notch, rooms were luxurious and I liked there was no ridiculous deposit! But being a single women I felt extremely safe and comfortable here

Best hotel in the area for sure I highly recommend it!

Overall the rooms are clean There are no safes in the room which is a little disappointingThey have a small laundry facility if you need to clean your clothes – it is coin operated

You can also get detergent at the front desk The laundry machines were very dirty I don’t think the rubber seal had been cleaned out for a long time My clothes had a slight musty and moldy smell after washing them

Lin Simon

They only provided ONE key card with a room for 3 guests and rejected to give additional one for convenience This is the first time I saw from Marriott hotels The front desk at night was not hospitable at all

The room is small with a fridge and microwave next to a bed The jacuzzi is fine I don’t think I’ll come back this one in LA in the future

M

Stay away! We were there approximately 30 to 45 minutes and someone broke into our vehicle and stole all of our belongings Security and two other workers were inside and outside walking around when we arrived and checked in After the break in every one disappeared

We are very suspicious it was an inside job The front desk clerk was very unconcerned, and his attitude was like oh well when we reported the break in We have yet to hear from management or anyone else

Our room, supposedly recently remodeled, had the ambiance and comfort of a hospital room Laminate flooring throughout, nothing to wipe your feet on therefore it always felt gritty and dusty Seating was a floppy desk chair and oddly shaped chaise

No artwork or extra mirrors Quite frankly a wide, bold, colorful stripe would have helped make it more inviting The bed was very comfortable after you managed to get on it It was nearly 30” high Nowhere to conveniently place or grab a towel after showering and the towel rack was rusty So much that I took pictures of it! The staff was not very helpful and didn’t even correct my address when brought to their attention I have stayed at this property before and had no qualms staying again However, I won’t be staying there againI’ve enjoyed all of my other stays at IHG properties but this one was thumbs down

Author Zya Blu

The staff members are very nice for the most part There was one housekeeper who worked on May 29 who had a bit of an attitude and did not clean my room as she was supposed to She didn’t even remove my towels from my room as she saw them on the floor when she pushed her cart by my room

But other than that the management and the other staff members are very nice and attentive to your needs The floors in the rooms need to be mopped Other than that, very well-kept secret in the city of San Dimas There are quite a few homeless people living there but I commend the owners for giving them a place to stay versus on the streets And they do not bother you I really like the renovations and I’m super excited to see how they turn out the next time I am down here in this area A special commendable shout out to the kitchen staff and the other housekeepers as well as the front desk staff

William Butler

Outside hallways They are renovating the hotel and I guess they have not gotten to the room I was in Laminate flooring through out the room

So the floor was cold The A/C- heater was so noisy I could either use it or sleep The shower has no place for me to put my soap and shampoo- no soap dish or shelf Same bulk shower products that could possibly be contaminated Stair well was dirty I saw what look like a clear aligner there I just cannot recommend this hotel

Slightly (21 miles) away from downtown LA scene, this hotel proved to be a gem We were in town for Super Bowl weekend and wanted to stay a slight ways out from the crowdsFor 1/2 the Marriott points other hotels wanted, we got the same service, if not better at this hotel

The hotel was clean, rooms clean and spacious We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, with a balcony over the pool and mountainsSince the hotel sits in an almost residential area, if you got out early, traffic to/from LA was a breeze Now if your a late riser, then you can expect that 21 mile trip to take about an hour😂They have a pool, which did not use, as friends had a house 3 miles away with a heated pool, and one day was spend at Santa Monica BeachWe loved the suite because it had a separated bedroom from the rest of the room Suite came with refrigerator and microwave Bathroom sink are was tight, as only 1 person could be at the 1 sink bowl at a time We disinfected the room because as we hung our clothes, we noticed dust in the closets, which appears nobody been cleaning/dusting in theirBeware: You pay $10 per night for parking in an open lot There is no security out there or a gateRight outside the hotel, they have a hiking trail that goes up the mountainsWalmart is about a 5 minute drive so you can stick up on beverages and things versus paying hotel prices for these same itemsOverall, we would stay here again Plenty of shopping in the area and an easy commute to most attractions (again…if you get out early)

Jay Wu

Nice view, perfect for a late night smoke and feel the vibes Not that I do it, I wish I could but my fiancé won’t let me Easy to navigate square building and a large work out room

Staff is friendly and rooms are clean Free mint chocolate, you know the Andes one? Green tiny bricks, that’s a mistake @Marriott, I will empty that whole fish bowl!

DEVIN DUNCAN

Updating my review, finally got in touch with the GM who finally did agree to give compensation So i raised my review alittle I wish it would have been easier but he said they are using my experience to train the staff, so maybe there wont be a next time with others

Aweful service from start to finish from reservation mistakes, to rooms not ready at check in, to coffee being made wrong, to dirty floors and tables (see pictures) and no one cares once they have your money they could care less I have talked to agm and GM!!! Well sorta the GM has yet to respond as obviously my issues do not appear to be a priorty stay anywhere else if you work hard for your money You have been warned

The hotel looked clean but it didn’t feel clean As soon as I got to my room I wiped down the restroom counter and night stands with a disinfecting wipe and it was extremely dirty The small cushion couch in there had so many mystery stains

The restroom didn’t have a working air vent, and the bathtub had hair The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows

Sam “CaliSpaßvogel”

Stayed there in Sept 2021 It’s a very dated and disgusting place I stayed 7 days, not once did the staff clean my room or took out the trash

The bathroom was falling apart, shower curtain seemed to be years old The staff never greeted me, smile at me or ask how was my stay, I’m a platinum IHG memberLet’s just say the entire building needs to be gutted and remodeledOnly good thing is it’s location Close to restaurants, shopping and the freewayI will forever avoid IHG locations in the Los Angeles area and will stick with Marriott

The only downside to this place was that I had to leave that super comfortable bed! I slept so well because of it! Upon entering the room I was beyond relieved to find it pleasantly cool, especially because I’ve spent the day melting in the heat because my truck’s AC took a dive and had to go in for repairs The room was huge, and the privacy partition helped give it a cozy feeling instead of just a giant box with some furniture thrown in Also, plug and usb outlets EVERYWHERE

I only needed one plug since I just had my phone, but it definitely is a plus for families or groups who are all about having their tech on them without worry of fighting over who’s turn it is to charge The towels were clean and FULLY stocked, and although the shower pressure was a tad weaker than expected, it still was pleasant when winding down from the sweltering heat of the dayI definitely recommend staying here!!!Also Ivanna checked me in, and she was so kind and welcoming! It definitely made the experience here so much better!

Von Sullivan

It gets five stars simply because my room was soooo clean and felt like a studio and the hotel itself is very nicely decorated and clean However, the front desk with the exception of the pretty, thin girl she was PROFESSIONAL & WELCOMING when handling my reservation The other three front desk clerks weren’t nearly as welcoming and quite frankly “tight & dry” in their interaction and SHOULD take notes from the PRETTY, THIN GIRL!!! 😉

nonetheless, I WILL rent there AGAIN,I LOVE the feel and set up of the room

Clean and spacious Traveled alone King size bed

Layout of the room made it spacious for me Love the chaise in addition to the bed Bathroom spacious Shower spacious Fridge, desk and closet the space was great for me Front desk friendly and welcoming Stayed at a bunch of Hampton Inns and by far, my favorite one! Many restaurants just a walk away Shopping was just around the corner Felt safe Free parking and breakfast too

Chris McDermott

The room and property are very clean and the staff is friendly The rooms are small but ok if all you need is a place to sleep Not much living space

Two people in the room must communicate if the plan on walking past each other at the foot of the bed and they better like each other There is very little privacy in the bathroom because of the sliding door There is a gap when it is closed that does not block any noise and you can see clearly they the gap Al in all it is a very nice place to stay and we slept very well

liz tov

I have stayed in this hotel before but after this time I don’t think I’ll be back We stay stayed 3 nights and there was no housekeeping my room wannNOT clean for 3 days No clean towels and I did requested 2 days in a row for clean towels I was told by the front desk that someone would be available after 9 to bring up clean towels after waiting for an hr I left and the next day I called once again front desk and I was told the same thing I waited till 1045 and then called again I was told someone would be right up and again no one showed up check out is at 11 🤦

I had to shower and air dry then checked out late, it’s been a little over week since I checked out and my deposit has not been refunded to my account now I’m wondering if it’s because I checked out after 1140 Definitely not going back

It all started with large long black hairs all over rooms and all over pillows Glasses at restaurant have soap stains If you eat outside there are meat wasps that will ruin your food

My dog stepped on glass I called super upset for Neosporin The front desk didn’t even let me finish telling them the issue before routing me to a number that rang and rangRan out of towels and toilet paper twice in one week No room service on anything Spilled on my sheets so I took them outside came back 12 hours later and they took the sheets and cups but didn’t replace themThis place might be cool to drive a couple of balls but the hotel staff is super rude and not even close to hospitableThey literally shoes me away and while my dog was bleeding they accused me of stealing a gold club because I left it behind They made me feel unwelcome and I’ve had extremely better service at a comfort inn Terribly over price and the rooms are outdated

Breanna Meyer

Very disappointed in this place All this place has going for them is it’s pretty They didn’t have room cleaning each day which you don’t find out till you are in your room, they have a sign on the bed

They can’t even bring you fresh towels each day There was no microwave even motel 6 has that Ran out of toilet paper was only there for two days and was only in the room to sleep All hotels at least provide extra roll somewhere When I opened the bed I found some hair on the covers Pillow case had a stain Don’t recommend

Celeste Ramirez

I am not one to leave reviews but I saw way to many reviews saying similar things in regards to their stay and I experienced the same I wish I would have read them before booking my stayThe hotel is very outdated, the rooms are poorly maintained with tons of decaying

No housekeeping Refrigerators in the rooms do not work The Blow dryer was very old and almost dangerous to use as it would spark flame when turned on The toilets would also not flush right away, it took minutes to flush away (close to 10 min of that) The water from the shower would also take minutes to drain They must have some plumbing issues Poor quality and worn out/old bathroom towels Paint scheme/decor over 40 years old This place is NOT a resort or high end hotel and definitely not worth the price Avoid this place

Huge room Pool area & patio look nice, unfortunately it was too chilly for a dip in the pool Front desk associates were super nice and helpful Little area to buy snacks and even frozen tv dinners which was good when you look for something to munch on in the evening but don’t want to leave the hotel Breakfast (included in the room price) was one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve seen (and eaten) so far You can pick between one item made fresh (eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast either with ham or sausage) and several other items like cereal, fruits, cupcakes, cookies and yogurtWe definitely recommend this hotel

I stayed here this Saturday 8/13/2022, and the room cost me $181, and after running the ac unit for 4 hours, the room never cooled down! I contacted the front desk about the problem, they responded by saying they could have maintenance come in the morning Which didn’t resolve the problem at hand I requested a refund for the inconvenience and was denied

I ended up just leaving right then I haven’t been able to reach anyone from this location, on the phone, since! I wanted to call and speak to a manager but no one answers the phone…ever! Horrible experience High priced room, with zero air conditioning with temps in the mid to high 90’s, is just unacceptable! Won’t be staying here again Won’t be recommending this location to anyone either!

Rooms and lodge grounds are very well kept Exceptionally clean and comfortable I also loved how nice and quiet the property was overall

Other inns on the very same block seem to draw loud and rude guests abundantly I’m so glad this place wasn’t like the others at all It rose far above my expectations The staff was courteous and helpful I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in search of somewhere to stay and are in or near the Claremont area

I believe there is nothing I found fine in this hotelPrice was below average in the area although it just does not justify staying thereFurniture in the rooms looks extremely old and worn

Breakfast was bad as well Cleanliness is nowhere to be foundI did not sleep comfortably there

Used the Comfort Suite app and chose the most expensive hotel in the areaThis hotel should not be part of the Comfort Suite brand Maybe Quality Inn at best

The room was clean but the hotel was not The hallways stunk and had garbage piled everywhere and the cable tv didn’t work in my room and I was told they would send someone at 6:00am to fix it I’m almost positive that’s because there wasn’t anyone onsite They left note on front desk saying all rooms were booked and left Pretty sure I don’t need tv an hour before I check out So I wake up at 1:00am and go to get a soda out of the machine and they are warm and almost hot For me this was the icing on the cake so I gathered my things and leftPaid $18000 I expect to at least be able to watch tvI don’t know how they got a 4star rating but I know it’s not from people who actually stayed there

the rooms were clean It was loud traffic on the second floor The Hispanic ladies were nice but the Asian girl at the front desk is nice but she told us we couldn’t check in early then about 5 min later a Hispanic lady let us check in early

I’m sure she didn’t know but she was telling us we would have to wait hours but I’m glad we didn’t have to wait early The water was cold until maintenance could come Other than that no problems

This place was nice The staff were attentive to our special needs and the room was super nice Two things that stopped it from getting 5 stars

First, they simply did not offer any smoking rooms We had to go outside to smoke or suffer a $25000 cleaning fee And second, there were no staff at the desk or on the facility after midnight Otherwise, i would highly recommend this place The beds were super comfy
