Room, bathroom and bedding was clean although the pillows seemed a little on the cheap end The room had a mini fridge, desk, and travel size shampoo and conditioner The TV was too small for the room however and only provided about 25 channels

I used my phone to watch anythingSome areas of the hotel look due for some maintenance or repairs, but as mentioned, the room was nice enoughThe breakfast was good but could use a little more variety The three mornings I was there it consisted of waffles, sausages, which I didn’t think were very good, two types of cold cereal, yogurt, oranges, apples, cold hard boiled eggs, muffins, oatmeal and coffee of course So it was a hot breakfast, which is nice, but after three days does get a bit oldThe pool and hot tub looked nice but I didn’t get inStaff was friendlyOn the corner of busy streets it was pretty loud at night from all the traffic, but it wasn’t enough to keep me up at nightAs one of the cheaper hotels in the area I would say it was great, really, can’t complain for the price I’d stay there again

This is a great La Quinta property Out King room layout was great There even was a recliner int he room with a lamp behind it so you can sit and read or watch TV

Great desk for working Dresser with enough drawers for 2 people to unpack and a separate little area for the coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge Great location right off the freeway I would gladly stay here again

Frieda Piechnick

It was a nice room Good location The male that checked us in was a piece of work

Full of himself and any problem he said to refer to the manager He might brag about knowing Italian but he needs to learn about customer relations I am sick of bad service It is rife Wyndham needs to hold a conference and teach front office staff how to treat people with respect

When I stayed at this property they had the most amazing beds and pillows! I actually purchased the same type of bed Best decision of my life I took a picture of the pillow tag but was unable to match the pillow with the merchant

They needed more info I called Gainey and spoke to an amazingly awesome gentlemen name Josh He was so pleasant, helpful and super knowledgeable He was able to provide me with what I needed Thank you Josh for the best customer service experience!

I enjoyed our stay The pool area was very nice, the other guests were super friendlyThe room was clean, modern and decorated well but the carpeting will need cleaning or updating soon

This is a family oriented location so if children bother you, head elsewhere

Jayneee Smith

We rented a 2 bedroom suite, 2 bath Nice amenities in bathrooms Living area was smaller than other resorts we frequent

Kitchen was not fully stocked and no stove Range was low-end, but did the job Needed to clean the toaster before using as there was debris inside making it smoke and we didn’t want the smoke detector going off Great complimentary breakfast and 5 PM happy hour with food Very social with plenty of seating areas around the pool, water falls, under the trees The outdoor area made up for any issues within our suites Very relaxing stay

I got hoaxed This was a very clean hotel, I agree with other reviewersHowever, doesn’t meet food and hospitality standards

Red or black napkins at brunch help keep the lint away I was only offered a white rolled napkin No valet service, no shuttles or vans, limited towels for pool experience, and lamp shade in my room had smoke stains A community microwave in the lobby was available The air temperature from the pool to deck is supposed to be less than a 20 degree difference in order to prevent the flu and cold virus from coming into the hotel but it felt like a greater variance than that Also, I think this is a salt water pool for those who have sensitive skin allergies it is definitely not chlorinatedAdditionally, the shower water smelled like it was unfiltered sewer water I always bring my own toiletry options just in case of emergencies like theseI did notice a lot of college dorm people using the hotel the weekend I was there, not sure what the normal flow is for this property but noise level was acceptable and the pool lounge chairs were really cleanTo other Marriott members using the app to book, this specific hotel property doesn’t offer double points for the stay

Katarina West

Loved this hotel! We were able to check in last minute and they accommodated us Ronnie at the front desk went above and beyond to give us the best customer service The vibe was modern and sleek and the rooftop gym and pool were great! The room was clean and the water pressure was amazing

My only complaint is that there wasn’t a microwave in the room so we had to eat cold leftovers because we didn’t want to have to go to the lobby to heat food up

Ray “Kingston” Najera

The vibe is totally business class I felt that it was swanky walking through the lobby but the room was modern and minimalist I guess what may have been missing something on the walls? The shower on the other hand was very nice

I enjoyed the rain like shower The place is immaculate and the housekeeping staff is on top of their job no doubt Maybe I’ve become used to the boutique hotels because although clean and modern it felt a little plain But if that’s your thing you’ll love this place Oh one thing before I forget the parking structure is almost 5 minutes away So if you are not ready to valet be ready to walk And if you think gas is expensive 20oz Dr pepper and Gatorade $9 🤨

The room was clean and very nice other than the noise The floors are fake hardwood so it sounds like you have a herd of elephants running around above you and will be constantly waken up by other guests There is almost no soundproofing for the rooms so you can hear everything going on around you

The rooms are very nice, but if you’re looking for a place to actually sleep, you may need to request the top floor

Alexa N

Our suite was so comfortable and homey, and the Bistro is absolutely delicious, but the staff are truly the shining star of this location! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly, they genuinely seemed happy to be serving their guests We were very pleased with our stay, and will definitely consider staying again if we return to the area!

Heiress Crown

For the price, I expected free breakfast amongst other things but I guess all good things come to an endRoom was clean, hot rub was not Feet started itching once I got out

There was a piece of aloe plant that was broken off outside so I applied it to my feet! Also pool is heated but I didn’t jump in as it was roo cold that morning Pool opens at 6:30a-9m Beautiful place, price is steep Great accommodations! I caught the room on sale obviously bc it was almost $300 and to stay an extra day would have been 550, so who are they wanting to keep out! Lol

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive! All of the employees were so polite and patient! We had a group of over 50 people staying at the hotel, over 15 rooms The facility, pool and hot tub area, the gym, and the breakfast area were all very clean It is very easy to get to the hotel, we felt safe, there is a gas station, convenience store, and restaurants all within walking distance

The lady tending the breakfast area was so wonderful as was the man at the counter (I think he must have stayed there 24/7 and never slept because I swear he was there every time we went by the desk! HAHA) I would definitely stay here again!**The only negatives were there were not many towels for the pool, and the hair dryers didn’t work well But these were very minor negatives! I would maybe take off a 1/2 star for these

We’ve always had a positive experience with our stay at Springfield Suites The office and breakfast staff are fabulous! Staff that really care about you during your stay Great customer service, very professional and greet to all guests pleasantly

The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable I would rate this hotel five stars, but if there were 10 Stars that’s what I would give SpringHill Suites😊

Jen Larm

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and it seems like every time we stay, it gets worse and worseI do have to say that the front desk is always nice and accommodating but everything else makes me not want to come backHousekeeping pounds on your door at 8am over and over again until you answer because they want to know what time you’re leaving

I found stuff on the floor that housekeeping didn’t clean and my baby could have eaten it, luckily I found it before she did Then the last time we went, there was a big family staying there (which is awesome) but what’s not awesome is when they come down and eat the entire breakfast and when you ask the lady running breakfast to please add more waffle batter and other breakfast items so your kids can eat, she tells you no that breakfast is over

This is the first place I’ve ever reviewedWhen my family first arrived to the hotel we were greeted with very friendly staff at the start, who seemed fairly understanding and professionalUpon walking into our room we noticed that it wasn’t cleaned properly by our arrival

There was used cloths all over the sink and above the Mirror, and dried pee on the toilet seatWe were quickly changed into a new room as that did not seem like a good experience to have upon arriving to a highly rated hotelOn our second night in our new room, we found a massive roach within the bathroom floor It was unexpected that it somehow arrived through there But after speaking to the front desk about it at 11:33pm~, I asked for a means to kill the roach with bug sprayThis resulted in the front desk stating they would not allow any bug spray for guests, and they would relocate us to a new room only if it was a big problemNeedless to say, I am very unhappy with my experience within this Marriott Hotel and I do not think I will recommend it to another family or friends of mine

Travelling with family to a work conference held hereWonderful food Clean and comfortable rooms

We requested a room near a pool and it was perfect Great staff All workers who took care of us at the meeting did a great job!Pools all very nice, family friendly Fitness center well appointed Convenient location to restaurants and shoppingThe only small issue was communication with the front desk On arrival, I got a text inviting me to message if we needed anything That service was unreliable Suggest calling or in person at front deskHats off to the landscaping crew Beautiful flowers, interesting cacti

It’s our second time staying at this resort, it was a joyful 4th of July weekend here The food and service was amazing! The resort is always very clean and organized, they can run low on the pool towels, so I would recommend you grab one asap otherwise they don’t get restocked We ran into that problem

Otherwise everything is amazing! Food is delicious! Will definitely be back again

Robert Green

We can not recommend The Scottsdale Plaza Resort enough! They were everything we could have wanted for our wedding weekend! The staff, the event spaces we used, the food, the hotel rooms and accommodations for our guests and everything in between was above and beyond our expectations They made the wedding planning process enjoyable and easy We got so many compliments on every aspect of the weekend from our guests

Our point of contact/coordinator, Kristin, was so organized and helpful through everything and she truly made our day run as smoothly as possible! She was attentive, listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond for us

I’d skip this oneThe only great thing about this place is the valet service that went out of their way to help us as it was pouring down rain during monsoon when we arrived They continued to be the bright spot of the entire stay here

The staff is fine but not friendly Every time we asked where something was on the property we got vague directions and couldn’t find it We weren’t offered a bottle of water or anything that we typically get when we stay with HiltonThe rooms are super clean but old There is a great vanity set up for getting ready but no outlets I’m not sure if the rooms have A/C or swamp coolers but the rooms were hot and muggy- again it’s monsoon season right now, but an A/C doesn’t typically cause that during this time of yearWhen we reserved the room the price said $180 a night with taxes and resort fees but we were charged $211It just overall is a tired and disappointing experience We have stayed at many Hilton’s for much less money and had a better experience I’d skip this one and book elsewhere in Scottsdale

Kenneth Belisle

My daughter and I stayed at the resort for a long weekend over the 4th of July The resort itself is so pretty, and we really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the cacti, palm trees, and flowers I loved the bar at the pool-they had great drinks for adults and ice cream for kids

Our favorite meal was breakfast, and they also had great food for lunch and dinner as well The pool area was so nice, and the water was warm, and we spent many hours lounging and swimming! I definitely recommend this resort! We can’t wait to go back

Nicole Fraser

We were excellently treated by every member of the staff who were friendly and engaging The restaurant was great with a nice variety on the menu and well prepared dishes The rooms were clean and, with the sole exception of the air conditioning units, quiet

The lake made for a lovely contrast to the desert dry with birds and greenery Absolutely recommend

We stayed in a king suite and our room had the most wonderful terrace! We took full advantage of the great outdoor space which really enhanced our experience The check in process was smooth and quick, our room was well appointed and overall very cleanMy main complaint is about the pool

We loved the fountain and that there was both a pool and a spa but my husband ended up cleaning the pool before we used it on the second day because there were tons of bugs, leaves, and pollen floating around The hotel staff was super friendly but they are very clearly understaffed so some things, like the pool cleaning, were not on their radarIt’s a good hotel that meets expectations and is very reasonably priced

Enjoyed the stay Clean rooms Meet little upstairs patio overlooking the pool, little bit of shade little bit of sun which ever you choose

Nice part of town w/ easy access to great little shopsJust a few blocks from “Spaces” where we always go to have our meetingsEvery time I go, I like to go to Cartel Coffee just a few blocks away – best coffee around!

Stelios Serghiou

Not recommended Fantastic location and nice staff However, the walls were paper thin (I could not sleep because my neighbors were simply chatting and I woke up with their alarm)

The water in the bathroom sink smelt like sewage water The room was newly renovated but everything just felt cheaply done Tip: if you do stay, request a room away from the nightclub noise

Brent Grablachoff

Marriott name with Best Western quality & Motel 6 service Want to feel valued as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member? Don’t stay here The front desk staff are unwelcoming and will do only the bare minimum expected of them during your stay

Rooms are outdated with peeling paint throughout the bathroom & shower Glass shower door doesn’t properly protect the shower faucet splatter and your bathroom floor will be absolutely soaked requiring use of 2 of the 3 towels you’re allowed to blot up the mess The beds and pillows ARE very comfortable which is a plus But the entire interior / shared areas of the hotel are run down and it feels like a very cheap motel with Westin or W pricing to stay The major plus is the quick access to downtown Old Town Scottsdale; but I’d rather walk a mile to the action than stay here again Poor management that doesn’t care about their clientele; at all

The room was dusty and dirty We had a hot tub in the room which was nice The pool was so cold I couldn’t swim! It was hot out so it’s nice to have a cool pool but this felt like it was running off a glacier

We won’t stay there again The ice machine near our room was broken so I had to go to a different floor It all seemed old, broken down and out of repair It was too expensive to be Motel 6 quality

Lucy Leon

The hotel itself leaves much to be desired It’s clean but doesn’t always feel that way because everything’s a little dingy The pool was nice but wasn’t totally clean, it should be at least skimmed every morning

The standout of the hotel is the staff though They are amazing and so nice Dani and Thomas went out of their way to be helpful and just extended extreme kindness to us

Tracey Conway

I stayed at the Scottsdale Garden Inn on August 6t 2022 A family member’s employer had reserved a block of rooms at the facility for their employees to attend a dinner meeting

I reserved a room at my own expense to keep my grandchildren so their parents could go We are from Tucson The kids and I were looking forward to swimming and hanging out and playing games etc in our room I have to say that the pool was in awful shape It looked green and I thought it was maybe the lighting but my grandkids jumped in and got right out They said it felt weird and they couldn’t see the bottom even with their goggles on Another from our party said the same thing The kids went to the hot tub there are broken tiles which hurt to sit on and there was a fan or a light hanging out in the water by the conduit Not good I can overlook the ongoing construction but there is really no excuse for the pool The kids were so excited to go swimming and we had to take that totally out of our plans We were really disappointed and I feel like I way over paid for what we got The staff was nice; the room was OK but the whole hall area smelled weird Just disappointing

Hotel miles away from anywhere but the Mayo Clinic Nothing to do unless you drive into town They only clean the room by request

Most hotels clean everyday when your do not disturb is off the door Ice machine is filthy on the outside just can imagine what it’s like Inside Ice had little black specks in it most likely mold Restaurant open for a couple hours for breakfast and 4 hours for dinner found that a little weird Will not stay again !!

Texas land Clearing

It was a decent hotel just like any other hotel in its price range One thing I liked was that it had a little restaurant inside of it Also I like the fact that it had a pool

Otherwise it’s just a typical Hotel I asked the lady at the front desk if she had any fruit that was complimentary I guess I’m used to that She looked at me like I was crazy And she said something sarcastic I can’t remember what

Robin Mclean

Gotta say this was an annoying stay I booked directly

but was given a room by a very loud ice machine I switched rooms, but my 2nd night there was a loud hot tub party til 1130 on a sunday nightThis is a very isolated location so I made sure the restaurant/bar was open I only counted on it for my arrival and my departure mealswhen it was closedboth times?!?There is a special rate for Mayo Clinic Patients and for weekday stays Otherwise, I would avoid this property

A nice stay overall The room was clean, pleasent, with plenty of clean towels There is plenty of pool towels outside as well

There is one complaint I must express It concerns some of the Front Desk Staff, especially a certain female night clerk To put it simply, just because you serve the wealthy and social elite it does not make you one of them! She needs to take her attitude, remembering where she actually lives and leave it at homeBesides the above mentioned individual, all else was as expected, very good 🙂

Nichole Jones

It was a horrible stay, the toilet seat was broken My husband’s leg was pinched The AC was very noisy and would not turn down

The manager of the place was very rude and didn’t even ask how our stay was it was not a very good stay It seemed like there was homeless people smoking cigarettes by the poolThe worst part is I left this review and another one…not one person from the company has replied or contacted us to make it right Good customer service is hard to come by nowadays

Brian Dodge

Girl at check in is Rude and Obnoxious Hates working in the service industry and you can tell she hates this job If you hate it quit! No need to bring your negative vibes to my vacation

Rude girl Should be fired!! Lots of lighting out missing light bulbs Took pictures of the extreme darkness in the pool area Lots of creepy people and loud parties at the pool way after 11pm into the 1am time Called numerous times and front desk refused to answer the phone toilets backed up and smells like manure in the hallways and front area Front door broken hanging off the hinges till 2 days later decided to remove the door The only thing this place has going for it is a Starbucks No breakfast 👎 and incredibly charges for everything Don’t even offer water to guests Not like other Marriotts we’ve ever stayed at Housekeepers are also rude and discriminated us Laughing and making comments in Spanish like I don’t know Spanish Don’t talk about guests infront of them So very unhappy 🙁

This Hilton is a perfect spot because it is so close to Old Town The staff is welcoming and friendly Love the free bottles of water they offer and the breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably priced

Great coffee and they even have flavored creamer The rooms are nice and the beds comfortable The patio near the pool is relaxing and lovely to sit at The pool could be a bit bigger but is okay The only downside is, more shade and umbrellas are needed there because the sun beats down on you The drink selection at the bar is also nice The price for a room cant be beat and I would definitely stay at this Hilton again if in Scottsdale

Very nice place to stay Location is great This is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops in Scottsdale

The rooms are very comfortable The hotel amenities are plentiful and service is terrific 👌 The elevator is pretty slow but that’s hardly a huge concern There is a nice snack bar in the very stylish lobby for snacks and drinks The salt water pool looks very refreshing and I can’t wait to the a dip in it Very clean and well stocked fitness room too! 👌

You get exactly what you expect from Hilton Comfortable accommodations, clean rooms, facilities and a decent work out space The front desk staff was gracious and helpful

I booked this hotel for one of my wedding blocks and the process could not have been better or easier for my Bride and I The team took care of everything so we had no involvement whatsoever

I usually don’t post about things, but I also usually don’t read reviews I’m not an expert in hotels just to clarify But I thought it was nice when they provided little ear plugs in case someone wanted to sleep while others stayed awake

Then as I was trying to sleep I realized the ear plugs were because the whole room had this weird vibration and winding noise CONSTANTLY I didn’t notice it before but in the dead of the night, there was no silence The ear plugs were a must And it was a Wednesday No nightclub was bumping in the surrounding area

Staines on the floor and holes in the sheets The room smelled of sewage I told the desk and they sent housekeeping

which made it then smell like perfume mixed with sewage! They had no rooms to change to Front desk was very nice and offered me points on my membership Would of preferred a discount!!! Beds are rocks and breakfast Berries frozen solid, potatoes cold! Oatmeal and coffee good Service at desk awesome But wouldn’t stay again!

Not a well run or maintained hotel Over full garbage cans, no plates out at breakfast, much of the staff had no interest in helping you, no towels at pool and pool area very shabby Tried to extend our stay for 1 additional day and they wanted double the daily rate

This was for a Monday! Tried to speak with the manager a couple of times, but he was never available Certainly does not represent the Hyatt brand very well

PERFECT HOTEL FOR OUR FAMILY! We got to Arizona with no idea and just totally going with the flow! The hotel front desk was AMAZING! Offered to help me and book a room right at the front desk! My family and I WILL always come back to this hotel! Nice room, clean rooms, LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel! We parked and walked to everything for 2 days! SO GREAT!

I loved it there! The bed was the most wonderful mattress in the world to me In fact we are going to buy one It’s like sleeping on a cloud and marshmallow

The people are extremely friendly and it’s very clean! Pool is nice too I loved it The only 2 negatives…one was that it takes awhile for the shower to get warm But that has something to do with the building itself and I think it would be very expensive to fix the issue The water does get hot but it just takes a few minutes Second there are no queen bedsjust 2 full or doubles so get a king if you want to sleep with your partner

I stayed here for two weeks for an Office trip and the stay was pleasant for starters the location is extremely convenient Lots of parking both covered and open

The rooms are well kept and spacious and the room service does a good job of cleaning up everyday The bed was very comfortable and the desk in the room was really helpful for work The common areas are also nice and welcoming and there is plenty of open seating at the bar , in the lounge and also in the pool area The gym is small but good for short workouts on a tripCons -Extremely bad tempered staff , except for one person I felt most of the staff was very condescending and rude Even Simple queries were met with a very monotonous one word answersNo water or coffee replacement most days even with the cleaning being done everyday I had to call them most days to ask for a glass or a coffee or something or the other There was a tap leaking all through the 12 days I stayed there and in spite of telling them about it I don’t think they cared For heaven`s sake , this is Arizona , you need to save water not waste it !!

We had a great stay at this HI&S this week! The rooms were clean, comfy, well stocked, and everything worked! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful The breakfast was good with plenty of choices The weight room is fantastic…clean, spacious with more equipment and machines than most Hamptons I’ve stayed at

The pool/spa looked nice, but we didn’t use it Overall, it was a great 3 day stay with lots of restaurants nearby, ASU a only 7 minutes away, Sky Harbor 11 minutes, and downtown Phoenix just 20 minutes!

Literally from the moment I walked in, I only had the best experience Night staff was very kind, and when I woke up and seen my car was hit and slammed into the jeep next to me, the staff was amazing They already had the liscence plate # and let me know that they were still parked in the back

I believe the manager’s name is Donnie? Forgive me if I’m wrong, but this guy is super nice, made sure I had a late checkout out since I was dealing with the police, insurance, and tow truck Seriously, these people need raises, they truly went above and beyond for me When someone don’t need to be so helpful and kind, yet they choose to be so sweet and understanding, says a whole lot in this industry I stay at many Hilton affiliate hotels, and I’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone Thanks a lot again to Donnie and his incredible team

The McCormick Scottsdale was recommended by our family living in Scottsdale The hotel has quite a lot of amenities, which we weren’t able to enjoy However, we really enjoyed using the amenities that we were interested in using, during our stay

We had a very busy schedule that our family members had planned for us that we were gone for most of our eight days stay at the hotelThey have a very friendly, and great supporting staff, that lets you know that you are welcome and they show their appreciation by letting you know that they are glad that you are staying there We would like very much to compliment, and thank, the housekeeping staff that were assigned to our room The young ladies that my wife and I met while leaving for the day to be with our family, were so friendly and accommodating whenever we requested their services to tidy up our room and to exchange our bath linens We will definitely return to stay there when we visit with our family again

The hotel is well located and has many amenities Has a decent restaurant in the grounds, with tasty foodThe staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile

Now, the hotel needs a makeover, it is very dated Our room has a musky smell, and one of the beds squeaked as one sat on itOverall, I would come back in the future, but a renovation would make it more attractive than other hotels/ resorts in the area

Penny Liddell

My husband and I stayed at the property for to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary The check-in staff was very professional, very polite, and helpful The room was clean and comfortable as we received an upgrade to a king suite from a double queen room

We did not use any of the other amenities available to us such as the pool, restaurant or spa area I was impressed that the pool is available to guests until 10PM My only complaint is the resort fee charged at check-out even though I prepaid for it in the app I reserved the room under It was eventually taken off by a manager, but I should not have been charged in the first placeThey could also use another elevator on the other side of the hallway, as we had to walk down some pretty long halls to get to our room Otherwise, a great experience and I would certainly recommend to family and friends
