The staff were amazing and friendly The check-in process was easy The room was very clean

Pricing very reasonableI hate giving this place 2 out of 5 stars, but my room was unbearably cold!! I stayed in the private room #2 I can usually handle sleeping in as cold as 60 degrees F, so it must have been much lower than that (I didn’t have a way of measuring the room’s temperature) There was no adjustable heater, just an air conditioner with a “cool” setting I heard the “heat” kick on through the ventilation roughly every 15 minutes, but it must have bypassed my room or something! I used the thin white sheet and the thin blanket provided, but I ended up putting my pants, shirt, socks, AND jacket on (I usually sleep naked) It still didn’t help I think the staff mentioned I could get an extra blanket, but I went to bed after their office closedAfter a night of basically no sleep, I was extremely relieved to find the shower water to at least be nice and hot

Never have stayed in a hostel before, so it was so fun to try something new-and so pleased we did Know this is an old motel and run down in a funky area BUT… a private room with own bath for two for $52 is such a bargain

The linens are super clean as is the bathroomThe real treat is the common areas We watched movies two evenings and got to eat with fabulous folks every morning The kitchen has every/anything you could possibly need to make a lovely breakfast – all the supplies are there! Delicious hot coffee is always available And, the kitchen is clean and brightThank you Leah and Elaine – you are both so charming and helpful! We wish you all our best for the wonderful futures we know you will live! Karen and Tammie (California grandmas :)PS If you run cold, ask for extra blanket/s when you check in As well, ask for a portable heater then, too Our room was toasty after we did!

Kelsey Brunts

I was looking for an inexpensive place to shower and sleep the evening after climbing Pike’s Peak and this place was exactly what I needed It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful At check-in, after I mentioned that I’d been hiking that day, Lisa switched around which dorm room I was staying in so I could have a bottom bunk and didn’t have to try to climb a ladder (I’m not sure I would have made it)

The breakfast area in the morning was great! There were plenty of ingredients to make a hot breakfast or cereal and toast if you wanted something quick I will absolutely stay here again if my plans take me back to the Colorado Springs area!

We spent close to a week at this hotel and had no real big complaints The staff was always so nice, rooms were nice, the views were great, the courtyard was relaxing, pool was huge, and there seems to be more than enough parking in the parking lot, even with a few trucks and their ATV trailers You had a bit of a luxury feel without it breaking the bank

For the price, this place was excellent

Paul Knapp

This place seems well suited to extra large parties and conventions massive seating areas Starbucks inside friendly front desk workers The halls seem to have trash everywhere you wind but not a lot but noticeable, it took about 24 hours for any articles on the floors of the halls to be removed The rooms are nice clean up-to-date most contain a balcony

If your room has a balcony bring your noise counseling headphones because these sliding doors do not I repeat do not dampen any outside noise but all in all I liked it, I’d stay there again

Jacqueline Kovacs

I booked this hotel because they are dog friendly Friendly & helpful front desk staff Beautiful lobby, bar, and restaurant area as soon as you walk in

The restaurant food was good, I had the Kobe hot dog my son had an American burger We were not disappointed The rooms are a tad out dated The beds are very comfortable The pool area is big Unfortunately, we got stuck on the other side of the hotel so it is quite a walk from our room but not a big deal I did not realize how big this hotel was! I would stay here again The location is great it is close to restaurants, shopping, and not far from downtown

They seem extremely understaffed We arrived around 12:30 PM The room was not ready until 4 PM

Yes, that’s the official “check in” time, but no other rooms were available?Front desk staff appear under-trained They do not do anymore than required No inquiry as to room availability (unless customer ask in person) No disclosure regarding room cleaning procedure — customer must request directly We needed to have them correct the door key 3 times during our 4 day stayHeavens, it’s a great hotel in downtown Colorado Springs Rates are reasonable Room in good shape, though it’s showing it’s ageThe restaurant/bar charges are extremely high — averaged $20/ drink Surprise! They need to work on communicating with the customers (no information re the hotel verbally or in writing in the room)I have gotten better customer service at Motel 6

Erin Jones

Staff was friendly, room was clean Those are the good things I have to say There were events in the hotel two of the three nights we were there and all of the restaurants were shut down for the duration of our stay

There wasn’t even an option to get a cup of coffee unless you went to Starbucks, or a glass of wine when you returned for the evening The rates were hiked, which I assume was due to the events (that we did not attend) The “arcade” is several games that my kids enjoyed, and I appreciated not having to pump them full of quarters, plus two pool tables The pool is tiny and dirty and I wouldn’t let my family in it There is a ton of space in the arcade room and pool deck that is underutilized Overall, I was very disappointed in what I had to pay for what I got The rooms were clean but outdated

Emily Foster

The second floor pool area is a huge waste of what could be a resort style pool They need to put in a bar and music, get many more chairs and tables with non broken umbrellas and put a restaurant in the “arcade” room They are sitting on an amazing space and really miss-using it

The rooms are gorgeous and the lobby is beautiful and the staff is amazing

What a terrible place for the money I paid!!! 230$ for a day and I stayed for 5 nights with family Issues that I had:- couch bed was just dead and springs were almost showing out of the mattress

you just can’t sleep in it- so called free breakfast you don’t even see a plate there or paper plate either just pick small cereal box, yogurt, muffins or ready to eat egg rolls I have never seen such cheap breakfast arrangement where you are charged over 200$ each day check out Best Western Buena Vista who charges the same money and what an amazing breakfast they have- Power went off twice never had this situation in any hotel in my life time – In Kitchen they have exactly 2 forks 2 spoons 2 knifes and very limited other utensils- no one came to clean the room for all 5 days we asked for it twice and very politely they it was mentioned we will check if someone is available what rubbish! no once called after that- hot water shower works for 2 people after that its not hot any more- open dirty pool – we still compromised on everything and never yelled on them- last day we asked for 1 hr extension and answer was NO NO we have house keeping coming at noon so you have to leave where the hell was house keeping from last 5 days when we asked for it !!!!!Just waste of money NOT recommended unless you want to burn your money!!!

The staff was really and friendly The room was very clean The bed was soft

Hotel was quite which was great because the hubby was working nights Breakfast was hot Plenty to choose fromBreakfast was 5-10 dailyPool, Fitness Center, and Laundry room are on the 1st floor $250 to wash and I think $250 to dryThey are pet friendly

Mia Jerry

The front desk reception greeted me kindly very welcoming, the lobby was very clean, you can tell the cleaning crew cared about the appearance and cleaniness, my room was very clean as well, this hotel is close to shopping, and stores I used the fitness center it was clean the machines I used worked and had filtered water The reason I removed the star is I seen couple of individuals that looked homeless lurking around the hotel which didn’t make me feel safe and the room I had only had a shower needed a tub

I would recommend they get some sort of security Overall I’ll come again and recommend

Deanna Foti

I stay here at this location, as well as several other Hilton run hotels in Colorado Springs when in town Great rooms, very clean and affordable! Free breakfast , as well as an indoor pool and hot tub in most locations

Many are pet friendly, which is very important to me having to travel with my pups at times They have all the amenities and comforts I need and look for in a hotel! ☆☆☆☆☆

Martin Keuchkerian (My_FoodieVerse)

I had to stay here for a work trip, and I would not stay here againIt does not deserve a 1 star because it has redeeming qualities, but for the price tag it’s not worth itThe rooms are nice

Spacious, clean and the bathroom is okay The hotel does have a hot tub and modern cardio machines which is definitely a plus That’s about all the goodThe breakfast selection is pretty awful Very limited options, and 2 out of the 5 days I stay there they didn’t have breakfast service so instead they gave out paper bag with gas station biscuit sandwiches, a orange juice box, and a muffin Not only this is extremely unhealthy and cheap, it made me feel like I was 10 getting my lunch from schoolThe bathroom shower door also didn’t stay closed It kept sliding open because it was placed at a small inclineOverall, not worth staying here even with the hot tube offering

Gavin Dahlstrom

I’ve always stayed at Holiday Inns for the hot breakfast buffet It was advertised on the listing but was not provided All we were given was a cold breakfast sandwich and a muffin

When you pay close to $115 a night you would expect the hot breakfast that was advertised Also, the body wash was completely out when I arrived, I asked for some and was told housekeeping would fill it in the morning That never happened Overall the room was nice and comfy but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Holiday Inns

Sarah Delgado

When booking we asked to be placed on a non smoking floor but when we arrived our room smelt awful We were in a room with a connecting door to the neighbors room and the Oder of Marijuana was seeping through the door We attempted to ask the front desk for a new room but were denied

My kids had a hard time sleeping due to the smell and woke up with a sore throat No one followed up with us which was very upsetting We paid a good amount of money thinking it would be a nice hotel since we have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before but instead we had a horrible experience with no resolution or empathy

This was our first stop on our trip exploring Colorado and this hotel was perfect! Very clean and the room was huge They had a bar which we visited as soon as we checked in after a long day of travel and the staff was very friendly and helpful The free breakfast in the morning had longer hours than I’ve experienced in the past with great food options

We booked through Hotwire so sometimes the hotels can be disappointing but this one was beyond our expectations for the price Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 4 nights during my wife’s and I honeymoon-The customer service was absolutely fantastic! Anytime I had a question or needed help the receptionist was always helpful with a great attitude A reason why I always stay at Hyatt’s

5/5-The complimentary breakfast was also very good and exceeded my expectations They offered Cereal, activia yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels, french toast sticks, fruit and coffee 45/4-Where this hotel falls short from other Hyatt’s is the rooms The bedding was low quality and was pretty uncomfortable, thin low quality sheets and low quality pillows and uncomfortable mattress The restroom was extremely small (hard for anyone to maneuver in) and the light for the restroom was very dark Also had a day were the hotel seemed out of hot water and made showering impossible which delayed our second to last day in Colorado springs which was very disappointing and upsetting 2/5Overall this hotel was decent at best Customer service and breakfast was great however it was derailed by a disappointing room stay Compared to other Hyatt hotels (room wise) this was the worst Hyatt I’ve stayed in Really wish they would update some room items like bedding, mattress, and restroom I hoped I read reviews beforehand as my wife and I were expecting a bit nicer hotel room for our honeymoon

Brian Gent

Room was excellent, breakfast was fine My issue was with parking Downtown Co Springs has little parking, and Hyatt simply adds to the problem

Only Valet parking (for a few) or park in a different lot (for a few) Ended up being half the price to park a block away and walk to the hotel Was basically told “well, that’s downtown”which is right, but frustrating

I have called IHG Customer Service six times now and have gotten no help While I was at this hotel I had too many bad instances and felt completely unsafe my entire visit1

Right when I arrived at my hotel, I found about 10 toe-nail clippings on the floor Horrible job cleaning2 There were 2-3 homeless people sleeping in the corner of the lobby with all of their belongings3 On my way back from the gym, I had a man get out of the elevator and began to walk towards me, smelling heavily of marijuana, and ask me to come with him He walked around the corner and then stopped However, this interaction was horrible I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable4 On Saturday night, as I was coming back to the hotel, the man at the front desk was shaking and said the cops had just left after people in the hotel were doing felonious activitiesAs a young woman and hearing multiple horror stories involving people attacking or abducting single women, this stay was the worst thing I have ever experienced

MP S

This may actually be a great place to stay! The room I was giving was spacious, clean, and the breakfast was what I expected My complaint is for not being able to control the temperature in this nice room The thermostat controlls two units that are both a heater and an ac in one

As I checked in during the winter months I would have been very happy with a 68-70F temperature setting It turns out that one of the two unit was heating whereas the other kicked on the ac The ac was stronger and managed to cool the room to a very uncomfortable 62F at 2am That caused the thermostat to shut off completely and it ironically started up just as I was about to check out Sleeping in my car in the winter in Colorado would have been a lot more comfortable!! I know this place fell victim to a bad sensor in the heater\ac unit but upon reporting the issue one could have reached out to me and help me to not feel so bad about my stay there 😥

Our team just got back from a week retreat in Colorado Springs We absolutely loved our stay here Connie worked with us to get everything set up for all our team members and schedule out the conference rooms and group meals

Everything went so smooth The property has an amazing view The restaurant on site is surprisingly good The kids loved having both the indoor and outdoor pool options The team also liked the ability to take morning and evening hikes right from the property Thank you for making this a memorable stay for our group 🙌

Patti McCumber

I cannot say enough good things about this property We found ourselves stuck in Colorado Springs after a car issue driving from Illinois to move my daughter back to Arizona State University We made a reservation sitting at the car dealer and we were at the check in desk less than 10 minutes later

Lauren greeted us with a huge smile and immediately made us feel better She provided water and along with Patti, the manager, got us a great room with a large workspace we needed The room is clean, comfortable and very well appointed Lauren even checked on us later to see how we are doing and has given us a late check out to hopefully coincide with our car being ready to roll again in the afternoon We ate in the hotel restaurant, and Lance, the bartender, was wonderful as well! I just cannot say enough good things about this hotel We will be back and I will send everyone I know here if they are traveling through Colorado Springs

Dan Hagenow

My wife and I stayed one night here during our honeymoon, and it was by far the best stay of our trip! There were so many things we enjoyed, the outdoor pool/spa is AMAZING, and includes some beautiful mountains views! We got the concierge package, which included snacks, dinner, and breakfast There are also a bunch of hiking trails you can take advantage of as well right outside of their gate! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel is overall decent at best I stayed there about 5 years ago about 4 times a year for work and it was way better We had an issue with hot water in our room and the staff definitely upgraded us without asking and were very prompt to take care of our issues that was great of them to do so

The pool and hottub were average at best and staff didn’t seem to care about kids 5 and under in the hottub At about midnight an alarm went off on a vehicle and went off for about an hour, finally I went out and helped disable the alarm with an employee with the vehicle owners permission If you want a good night’s sleep I suggest driving north about 6 miles to the north side of town Personally I will never be back

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!To begin with, the room reeked of bleach so much my eyes watered! The front door handle was broken Not the card reader, but the door handle I had to insert the card over 10 times before I got the door to open, the door handle was so flimsy

The carpet was very dirty There is A LOT of highway noise since you are right next to the interstate At 2:30am, a semi-truck began unloading at the Carl’s Jr, which sits in front of the hotel It ran its engine the whole 15 hours it was there I was on the ground floor and it was so loud it woke me up At 4:00am I decided to take a shower since I was wide awake, NO HOT WATER!!! I called the front desk He said he could not change my room but could send a maintenance man later in the morning, I said that wouldn’t help since I needed to leave at 6:00am When I called the Mgr of the property upon returning home, she was extremely condescending and proceeded to blame ME for the problems I encountered She took no responsibility Even the hot water…saying she had no control over their boiler Let alone my feeling of security with the broken door handleThis is no way to run a hotel or to treat your customersSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!!!!!

Miguel Maldonado

Great service at the front desk, but there were too many negative things with the room The room smelled like cigarette smoke, although it was a non-smoking roomThe bathroom light was flickering, the sink was clogged and draining very slowly, the love seat was old and frayed

This has not been seen for long time Thanks to Agata’s help, I was able to catch the flight and saved time and money THANK YOU!!Another person i like to mention is the 👨‍🍳 (CT? – ungratefully forgot his name) Service for breakfast was just very good Thank you!!

We have stayed in many Marriott Fairfield Inns Steer clear of this one We stayed 2 nights

Our room was never cleaned even though the desk promised it would be An unannounced parking fee was added to the bill that was emailed to us after checking out The parking area is a large open lot in a suburban type setting The breakfast was almost non-existent, 2 cellophane packaged items, no bread, baked goods, fruit, healthy cereals, etc Sink in our room would barely drain I corresponded with Marriott Customer Relations following our stay I delayed writing this public review to give them a chance to provide a meaningful response The only thing that came back was a cookie cutter response expressing they hoped we would stay with them in the future Amazingly bad

Mohri Hime

I traveled through Colorado from north to Colorado Springs, staying in Marriott hotels, for two weeks For a Marriott operated hotel, this was too expensive and not enough attention to details – perhaps this is more of a process the guest numbers, than providing the best accommodation The house keeping staff was wonderful

But the front desk was very slow, morning buffet was inconsistent (some items remain empty without quickly refilled, etc) I would not go back there next time, any time soon

We were very happy with this hotel The staff was very, very kind – especially the Hispanic man with glasses who was cleaning rooms Very impressed by his friendliness and making us feel welcomed

The bed was so comfortable We slept in here after 2 weeks of different hotels It is the only bed we loved Fair prices Happy we could bring our chihuahuaBreakfast was decent Parking was ample and good Good location Only thing I would say could be improved is cleaning the floors in the rooms with mops or something before putting someone new in the room

Weston Crawford

Wow!! Best place to stay in Manitou by far! Highly recommended Staff was super friendly and willing to accommodate Location was second to none! 4 minutes to everything we needed, dispensary’s, Garden Of the Gods, spas, liquor store

It was set up for a great romantic get away 🥰 Also, the only location on that strip with a stop light So you don’t have to wait for traffic to get onto the main road It was a HUGE bonus with all the traffic on that road Will be staying here when we come back

Ryan Perkins

When we arrived at 3:30, the room wasn’t ready

When we got back to the motel after our event, there was no parking The only open spaces were handicapped, we had to have special permission to park No elevator Got to the room, upon first sight it looked decent Upon closer look there was a white stain on the bedspread (no it isn’t bleach) and blood on the headboard The front desk goes home at 11 No one to tell or get help from The toilet hinges are surrounded by old urine and you can hear every sound from outside The desk chair is covered in residue What can you expect from a one star place? Yup One star accomodations and a one star rating

From booking (directly) to the end of the stay the experience was excellent The hotel staff was friendly, greeting us or wishing us a good day if we left to explore Tameka was exceptional and clearly excels at her position

We had a 2 queen bed room which had a large bathroom, a microwave and small refrigerator The room was clean and quiet and had a great view of the mountains The housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient We chose to eat our breakfasts at the restaurant on site because it was affordable, well prepared, and delicious The restaurant staff was friendly, and Shannon the waitress even remembered our preferences each day I did not get a chance to sit at the bar in the evening during our stay, but it is well stocked with numerous beer and liquor choices The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the area was clean and maintained We were also happy to discover the on site guest laundry which we unexpectedly needed to use for a load with detergent available for sale at the hotel convenience storeThe location puts it away from what I consider the major part of the Springs which we preferred because the area was quiet at night The location is still close enough, though, that driving anywhere is not difficult My family and I will undoubtedly return to visit Colorado Springs and this hotel will be our first choice each timeThank you!

I absolutely LOVE this hotel!! The staff, the rooms, the checkout time, everything is amazing here! The ONLY complaints I have, are the fact that breakfast isn’t included in the room rates, & getting your deposit for incidentals when using cash app can take up to a month But that’s too be expected with most of the 4/5 star hotelsOther than those two things, (which are kind of a big deal), this hotel is fantastic

Staff has always been so welcoming & friendly at check-in, I know I’m a valued customer If you ever need a place to stay I highly recommend this hotel!! Very comfortable place, very clean, just all around wonderful hotel!! Will be back!!!

We ate almost every breakfast at the hotel Kitchen staff made amazing food Shannon our server was so accommodating It’s difficult to travel with a health issueShe made sure I was able to order what I needed We will be back to the springs often and this is where we will stay Thank you for making us feel at home when we were there

100% the best bang for your buck in CO Springs 10/10 would stay there again Also the first complimentary breakfast I’ve ever been truly happy with They have the best hotel eggs I’ve ever had (without having to pay for them) Well done, Holiday Inn 👏

This is a very good Holiday Inn Express location The hotel is extremely clean and perfectly located in a shopping and restaurant district of Colorado Springs You can literally walk to countless restaurants, bars and shops, without any transportation

The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, and staff very is very helpful They serve a good complementary breakfast, the only drawback is the pool is currently closed I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express location

Kevin Hunt

Decent enough Room was nice and clean Staff was friendly

Would be nice to know ahead of time that the pool is still closed Bench seat in dinning area in dire need of dusting What really upset me was the fact that their website advertises second night is significantly cheaper than one night At checkout, both nights were the same price When confronted about this, the desk clerk said prices change daily and said “sorry about that”! That was it, paid full price for both nights Room was booked well in advance Paid too much but motel was handy to where I needed to be

We are absolutely thrilled that we booked this hotel to stay at on our vacation Everything was fantastic The breakfasts were great and they have Pizza on site that is delicious

The staff at this hotel are amazing, they always greeted us with a smile and really helped to make our vacation one of the best If you are traveling to Colorado Springs and need a place to stay I would recommend this place over and over again

Dan

Awesome breakfast buffet! One of the best I’ve ever had The pizza at the restaurant was also very good The cons, the google page for this hotel says it has a hot tub, it does not

The deck area around the pool is small, only room enough for a few chairs The parking lot is gravel, I guess due to the construction of adding onto the hotel (it’s not a great look when driving in) They have a bar at the front counter?, seemed strange They are in the process of building a bar just off the front counter No folding luggage racks to set your suitcase on Bathroom was tiny Toilet sticks out in the middle of the room Lighting is terrible Two dimly lit lights flanking the sides of the bathroom mirror Very hard for my wife to apply makeup, bad design If it wasn’t for the breakfast buffet, it’d be a 2

Ronald Lo

Stayed 3 nights The people at the breakfast area are super nice They serve the hot foods now which is fine with me

The place was very clean I did have to park in the gravel in front, wish it was paved, hope they can pave it soon Internet is fast you don’t have to pay for the faster internet They do have a happy hour where there were a couple of people drinking Front desk peeps are super nice and friendly I arrive late around 10:30 PM after working a whole day and flying in and they tried to cheer me up Thanks so much for making they stay as good as can be!
