What a great experience! The staff were great! All the staff that we encountered were the same, cheerful and helpful We travel a lot for my kids sports and recently hospitality has been terrible most places we go! It was so refreshing to be treated like a paying customerThe rooms were spacious with a small kitchen area with sink, small fridge, microwave and some of the basics provided! We would definitely stay here again!

Chantal Hite

The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and it was clean The shower head was pretty low and we are all under 6ft and there wasn’t much water pressureAs far as breakfast goes it wasn’t the best breakfast choices

The typical french toast sticks, hash browns, very thin bacon, toast A little bit of sugary oatmeal packages, but not any particularly healthy options, which are my go to breakfast choices that a lot of other hotels haveStaff wasn’t particularly friendly or unfriendly while checking in or out They just got their job doneAll that being said it was better than average, but I’ve definitely stayed at better places and worse places which is why it gets 4 stars

Amy Coats

Nice motel, my air conditioner was squeaking non stop so they moved me to another room and air kind of noisy in there but not as bad Whole group of people took over pool and patio area with there barbecue, couldn’t use that Walls are pretty thin, could hear the next room blaring their radio at 6:30 in the morning

But overall I like this motel, enjoyed their hot breakfast bar Friendly front desk staff

Needed a little getaway and have enjoyed staying at Staybridge locations because of the larger suite-like rooms The price was right so I booked for 3 nights I had read some reviews that had me concerned, but had no complaints whatsoever with this hotel

Staff were very friendly–from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff This looks like it was one of the first Staybridge properties built, but it has aged well and the rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy and seems updated This location is very centrally located and there are numerous restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive The outdoor pool was not yet open I would imagine it would be open for the summer months I had their breakfast which was pretty good Eggs, bacon, wafflesand the other normal hotel breakfast type items I would highly recommend this hotel

Aleena Dicken

This was an experience and just wait until you unfortunately meet the front desk lady that is supposed to be the GM She was very rude to me when I called to ask her questions on why she charged my friend a pet fee when he didn’t even have a pet, I did and I visited with my service dog that lives in Louisville On top of that she continued to lie to me over the phone and said she expressed to my friend that he was going to be charged extra which she didn’t

The only thing that was expressed to me was have him on a leash I would of just taken my dog home if I would have known my friend was going to be charged She also expressed there is signs all over the hotel saying you will be charged but again communication in this business is key and when I initially brought my dog in the first time and they said he just needs a lash that would have been a good time to tell us we were going to be charged The hotel was not very clean, bugs all over the place His refrigerator broke on him Also the A/C was not cold or didn’t work because it felt like a Sauna when you walked in I personally would not have anything negative to say but when I called to take to the GM she was very unhelpful and rude She clearly has no customer service Good luck if you plan on staying at this hotel

Not Staybridge quality Only plus it was clean and bed was comfortable We are Diamond Spire Elites

They upgraded me day of to a King Suite Girl on phone was an absolute sweetheart Woman at desk this morning not so much None of rooms have 2 queen beds I was told which was fine for just myself and my little girl But bigger families may struggle with one bed Only Kings and pullout couch Only stayed one night Bathroom very run down Bottom of shower peeling so badly that sharp edges sticking up No hot water in sink Luke warm Toilet seat looks melted Horrible quality lighting in mirror area Air conditioning system is in closet in bedroom and very loud to point I had to wear my noise canceling earbuds Everytime it kicked on it woke us up I told frontdesk lady in morning and she was very ksera and said “Oh yes it is loud” Also didn’t apologize for shaddy bathroom or non Staybridge quality breakfast It is equal to an express breakfast Not Staybridge quality Honestly would have rather express because at least I would’ve gotten cinnabon rolls Not even cheese for powder eggs was available Waffle maker didn’t even have spray Note up they spray each morning Well her waffle was dry and stuck So maybe spray it more than once a morning Overall polite staff except older woman on checkout day She made my concerns feel invalidated Management is clearly skimping on quality for food and room maintenance Could be a decent property

This place exceeded my expectations! Very nice location Very clean throughout Bed and pillows were very comfortable

Breakfast was great with a lot of options They do not have a pool anymore so I wish they would remove the photos but overall this is a great place to stay! We will definitely stay again in the future! Highly recommend!!!

Joshua Brown

The staff was very friendly! The rooms were super clean!! It’s right by a Mexican restaurant, a golden corral, and a Bob Evans Oh and Stake and shake and a Dollar tree is right across the street! I stayed 5 nights there, not 1 bad experience My only complaint is if there’s smokers smoking outside the room, then it affects the inner air quality, so double check your ac for buildup!

Jessica Ness

After checking in and going to our room, our door was open and the bathroom & sink area didn’t look like it was clean They did send someone over right away to clean it, but still not the way we wanted to start our stayThe breakfast was terrible

Whoever made the hot food did a good job, but everything else was a disaster No spoons, no napkins, 1 yogurt cup, a few cereal options, empty containers and the drink dispenser wasn’t turned on It was like they forgot to restock everythingThe lady working the front desk was also all over the place on her phone Overall terrible experience

I don’t have many complaints about my stay or service my room was clean upon arrival my towels fresh plenty of parking and I liked the breakfast I did find that my pull out bed was broken and there were no extra blankets for it and room service tried to rush me to check out she was very rude kept coming back 2 hours before checkout She never cleaned my room during my stay but wanted to rush me out The other things I think need improvement are the carpets in the halls and the pool

I chose not to use it because it’s small and looked cloudy An update is definitely needed there but everything else was great The staff was amazing for the most part and nothing happened to my car in the lot

K W

The hotel has definitely seen better days My pillows were so flat they felt as though they had been used a million times ! The breakfast while plentiful was not tasty Something was just not right from the bacon, to the made to order omelettes, and even the oatmeal and this was expressed by everyone in my group

Much different taste than other Embassy suites I’ve visited The staff and everyone was nice but hotel needs a bit more renovations and updating Indoor pool is small and stayed crowded so I did not use

Brittany Kennedy

This is my 2nd time starting at this particular location It’s always clean and the staff has always had great customer service The manager went out of his way to help with our booking

And don’t let me forget the breakfast It was amazing once again We have not been disappointed yet I recommend the stay and we will definitely be staying again in the future

We checked in on a Thursday night and checked out on a Sunday morning What I loved about this hotel is that the customer service was excellent There is a good hot breakfast and great service

Breakfast wasn’t included in our rate but was only $700 per person Where you eat breakfast, I believe you can also get dinner, but we never had time to utilize the bar/restaurant at night However, I love they still have food and drink inside the hotel where some hotels don’t any longer Many guests were having a great time at their lounge! The hotel was huge and the common areas were super clean The only thing that happened was our first room wasn’t very clean, but it wasn’t terrible; however, management made it right immediately! I would definitely stay here again The hotel itself isn’t brand new, but was very nice and is in a great location ***Free parking, fair rate, clean, not brand new, but remodeled

Amanda Gillihan

You have to pay to eat at their continental breakfast bar Nothing fancy

cold cereal, muffins, toast, waffles or pancakes, eggs, bacon or sausageother holiday inns don’t charge for that Pool was nice but only 5 people allowed in at a timeno exceptions No hot tubethey replaced it with plants and mulch inside Otherwise the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was nice

Christy McKinley

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL I booked this hotel for a work conference

There were a group of guests and children in the lobby by the bar that were playing loud music, yelling and playing volleyball from about 10pm until 1am I called the front desk numerous times for a noise complaint My room had a window (not sure why) pointing into the lobby right where these guests were The front desk worker said they couldn’t do anything until the bar closed at 12 I asked for a different room away from the lobby They refused to give a new room When the bar closed the noise continued and I called again They said they would talk to the guests No one ever went over to talk to them (again, clear view from my room) My husband then went down to talk to the guests himself since no one else was going to They quit playing volleyball but continued to be loud until 1am when they finally left the lobby They were then on my floor yelling in the hallway Do NOT book with this hotel If you have an issue they will not work with you to resolve

I was in Louisville for a week for doing speech stuff and we chose this hotel The rooms we nice and clean and no loud noises This was around a bunch of restaurants, so it was hard to choose which one to go too, lol

The service was good, but if you are at a hotel more than a week, they don’t clean your room, unless you ask for it I would want to come to this hotel again, but try to ask for room service for often Totally would recommend staying here and thank you for a warm breakfast

Taylor B

We booked Hyatt Lousiville-East for the Bluegrass Pug Festival! The rooms and overall decor was very glamorous and impressive They managed to keep everything super clean even though there were lots of other doggies staying as well I was worried that we would be able to hear all the other dogs but the walls were surprisingly sound resistant and the blinds made it feel like midnight even in the middle of the day

The bed was honestly the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in The channel selection was kind of lame Of course I’m saying that compared to the streaming services I have access to at home Didn’t get to take advantage of the free breakfast so can’t comment on that I can say that guest services were really frustrating and confusing Ultimately we were able to resolve issues but in the future I will be calling on the phone to confirm and pay

Jillian Drybrough

To start, We had made two separate reservations as we decided to stay and extra night before we even arrived First problem was they couldn’t find the second reservation so a third had to be made They give an option for early check in but once you arrive and try to check in early they tell you sorry it can’t be guaranteed

No manager on site the entire weekend and couldn’t even tell us when one would actually be there The pool was out of service and we weren’t informed until we got there The breakfast was awful Stale food and expired fruit When informed of the problem they just left it there instead of tossing it Plates and silverware were dirty The rooms were fine except for you had to lift the toilet seat in order to even open the bathroom door I would never recommend family or friends to stay here and I certainly will never stay here again which is unfortunate because it is so close to family Called corporate and they never got back to us Horrible experience

Desk staff was extremely courteousFacility location is great for the Expo Center!Limited WiFi in our third floor roomCounters clean

Floors swept Fridge clean inside Good AC Window also opened Nice TV Front desk staffed whenever we were in the lobbyDid not hear the planes at the airportSheets clean, but had multiple visible stains Accumulated dirt and grime in corners of bathroom and in cabinetry/closer Back security door isn’t consistently closed by guests despite sign requesting it be closedNot sure if I was informed in advance about 100 security deposit when I booked the room I was surprised by it at check-in, but I might have missed it in reservation detailsWill probably stay further out from the Expo Center next visit at another brand hotel because the price was high for the room quality This is a great location if you must be close and the people are great

I booked 2 rooms days for May 26-29 before my arrival I also called twice to let staff know that I would be arriving around 2am Friday morning I was driving from South Carolina

I was advised that everything will be fine upon my arrival I get to the property and was greeted unpleasant just to be told that they only had one of my rooms available We arrived around 1:40 am Friday morning so I was confused on why both of my rooms weren’t available I asked multiple times how and why did this happen I offered to go get my phone out of the car to show the front desk attendant my booking confirmation Initially I was told I don’t need to get my phone because they had no extra rooms to accommodate me and my other guest( I had a total of 3 people including myself) I asked if I could speak with a manager to sort this out I was told I could at 9am Then I was told I could go get my phone to show my confirmation But to no avail! Because the attendant calls the manger I assume and tells them I do have a confirmation for two rooms So she offers me a room for only one night After she ends the call and my mother and I are discussing amongst ourselves we will still have to figure out what we were going to do about the extra nights we needed the front desk attendant continues to yell and disrespect me and “says that’s what you get for booking online” I can’t magically make a room appear ” Not once was I rude until she decided she wanted to yell and curse at me The police were called on my mother and I all because I wanted an explanation My mother never had a conversation with the attendant yet when she called the police she stated that we both were aggressive and wanted us removed from her property We weren’t the aggressors She was And to conduct that type of behavior towards someone in your work establishment is unacceptable and very unprofessional Thank you for the example of how SureStay by Best Western in Louisville Ky treats certain customers!! I only gave 1 star because I could post without leaving a rating

Hailey

Overall great stay We stayed in the king suite and it was clean The breakfast was a good spread

The reason for a 4 star is because the sofa bed mattress had some red stains and was not nice to see so the couple ended up sleep on just the couch and the floor Close to the Kentucky Derby, like a 10 min drive and if absolutely needed an hour walk

I wanted to post a view management might be surprised to read During our stay we had a major problem It was late at night and the hotel was not able to address the concern in full that late at night

We had a rough start to our trip and unfortunately it was due to a situation that could have been avoidedMy comment is in relation to how the hotel management responded the very next day We determined that this location was not a good fit for us but valued the Marriott name and trusted that they would correct the situation They did In fact the manager did compensate us for our first night and then found alternative accommodations within the Marriott system where we received a major room upgradeAs a manager, I know that sometimes your establishment does not opposite to the standards you adhere to I was impressed with management going above and beyond to correct the issue for the remainder of our stay Thank you so much

Sarah Smith

Their google photos show a hot tub and full breakfast plates, and I think some of their online descriptions are incorrect They don’t have a spa/hot tub or free breakfast The manager (I am assuming) told me that they filled in their spa with cement because they are “filthy like a toilet”

Great Not sure what her implication was, either Marriott or this franchise in particular couldn’t keep things up to health code, or she was implying I want to do something gross, like swim in a toilet I am sure someone told her to say that, so that people don’t get mad about there not being a spa Stop saying that to your guests The room was ok clean And I would’ve stayed somewhere else with free breakfast if I had known they didn’t have it Spend the extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer

David Williams

Must be trying to catch up after COVID One night there on the way through Room was clean but no wash cloths

Some wear and tear around the place: carpets, dings, etc The most interesting was the Bistro for breakfast Looking at menu and I was told, “We only have one sandwich” Okay, I’ll take two “That will take 20 minutes” Okay, can I have a latte? “No, we only have brewed coffee and only one type” Okay, I’ll take a large coffee with the two sandwiches for my wife and I “Sorry, we only have one size cup” Do you have half-and-half? “Wait here I have to go to another room and open a box to get that” This is no joke This conversation happened 25 minutes later and $20 later I leave with two overcooked sandwiches and a small/medium coffee At least the cup had a sleeve built in and the lid was firmly sealed Nice cup So, if you’re counting on the Bistro for breakfast, just keep moving on to another Marriott I’m a Very frequent Marriott guest There are better ones in the area until they get back to some sort of getting operations back to what’s expected at a Courtyard

The staff were the best part of this hotel Everyone with whom I interacted was polite and professionalThe rooms were good

It’s as though when the owner of the location had to choose which part of the hotel in which to invest funds, they put it into the room fixtures and furniture, which is good!None of the downsides are major or would deter me on their own, but there are enough of them that they need to be addressedThe trash which had been bagged was just sitting in the hall by the elevator It didn’t smell, but was very off puttingThe doors still had the locks which required the key card to be inserted and removed, and it was spotty at best (I had to use the card and not the app, but that was due to my phone and not the hotel’s fault)The shower did not have any slip resistant surface and I had some minor slipping, but no injuryThe last negative is not the hotel’s fault, and that is the traffic patterns of the location It is challenging to get in and out of the areaAgain – good people and there are worse places to stay, but there are multiple other Hilton brand locations within 5 miles which are all-around better

Mary-Dawn Cross

After a HORRIBLE experience at Quality Inn & Suites, the staff and everything about Hampton Inn was absolutely amazing! The property was very clean, noise was very minimal and everything was newly remodeled Our room had a large TV that swiveled for you to watch from either the couch or the bed, the shower was a beautiful walk-in, the mirror had a touch power button for LED lighting

we honestly had ZERO complaints from our 2 night stay, except that they didn’t have gravy on the breakfast bar the second morning 😂 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will stay again!

Laura Reynolds

I’ve stayed here several times over the last few months and have noticed a few more little things each time My rooms have always been clean, which is a big plus However, on my last visit, the door to my room didn’t latch securely without being slammed very hard, and even then it didn’t work very well

The doors in every room I’ve had are always hard to open I tried using the digital key, but on my last stay it only worked intermittently, and the stay before that it didn’t work at all In one room there was a malfunctioning thermostat, so it was very hot, and in another room there was no hair dryer, which I didn’t realize until I was getting ready for a day of meetings with clients The water pressure in the showers in every room I’ve stayed in has not been great, and the shower heads that are supposed to let you change it are difficult to adjust It’s frustrating to have to request housekeeping I understand that those services had to be curtailed during the pandemic but now that travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels, it seems like making people request housekeeping is more about cutting costs and increasing profits than it is about COVID mitigation measures Everyone at the hotel is always very nice and helpful

The area looks kinda sketchy so I was always aware of my surrounding The inside of building is quite nice and modern Our room was clean and nice with the exception of it being mucky upon arrival

Everything else was good and had no issues Breakfast included was a plus, and overall it was worth the price and stay Definitely better than I expected

Out of 40 different Wyndham hotels we have stayed in this is the top of the line most beautiful , clean , excellent hotel we have stayed in The people at the front desk was super nice friendly went out of there way to up grade our room us being diamond statues The house keeping lady’s was great super nice and let me in the room while my husband had to go get the keys reset because we got them close to our cell phone and it deactivated them

I recommend this hotel as your next stay in Louisville Ky Full breakfast bar Gym I didn’t have time to try Wish I could rate this higher than a 5 Thank all of you for a great stay This suite had two TVs and a couch that would make to a bed also with tub shower comb

Amy Gonzalez

The hotel itself was nice inside and clean but we woke up ready to continue our trip discovering that our catalytic converter had been cut off and stolen from the bottom of our vehicle The staff gave us a non emergency number to file a report but said it has happened before A clean hotel isn’t worth staying at if you have to worry about your property being stolen

And obviously little is done to prevent this from occurring for their guests Very disappointed in our experience here

My Money Discovery

I don’t usually write reviews but this is ridiculous! I’m extremely exhausted, been up for work since 3am and I’ve been moved twice now My first room, the toilet was messed up and the second room had bugs!! The receptionist was nice and accommodating However I didn’t pay almost $700 to sleep with bugs

I could have stayed at the Days Inn for that Do better Marriott!! I stay at Marriott resorts and hotels regularly This is a HUGE disappointment!!

Lady at desk was awsome and that’s where it ends Rooms are outdated And are you serious with no free breakfast

Hate Marriott Most over priced hotel for the worst amenities of any chain hotelNot even a microwave in room That way they can charge for any food item you want hot at their “bistro”Free everywhere else though

Toilet had issues Manager tried to replace an old valve Didn’t work

Was nice and gave me another room Old gray-haired man worker possibly manager at breakfast bar the next morning decided it was a professional idea to talk to me, a customer, about ” that lady over there” in a negative light That fellow customer was my mother I let him know that so he shut up and walked away Unsure what he was thinking No free coffee like other places Wouldn’t stay here again It’s booked for the KY derby the nice guy told me I guess if you are desperate

The manager went above and beyond to make sure we got the rooms we preferred My brother and I live 3 states apart and we were meeting here so it was nice to be able to visit easilyEveryone else was also very nice

The room was comfortable and everything was cleanI would highly recommend this hotel to stay in

Shawnna Clement (Pathfinder76)

The staff was friendly and helpful My kids loved the pool The rooms were clean, AC was quiet and controlled by a wall thermostat

We have mixed reviews on the beds The kids liked the squishy pillow top mattress, but it was so uncomfortable trying to sit up to watch TV My husband and I were very surprised that our backs weren’t tweaked from the absence of firmness I was disappointed that the only hot item was some paper thin bacon

This place is CLEAN! The staff was very friendly It’s located close to I-64, but hidden behind a gas station The room itself had lamp shades that needed to be replaced, a picture on the wall that was crooked, and carpet with exposed staples along the wall

The bed was comfortable The location is under renovation; this was not explicitly stated on the site when I booked the room According to a “please don’t rate us poorly” email after my stay, the location had an “accident” and is working with insurance to repair the facility The email also says the “Info and Policies” section of the website states that the location is being renovated In other words, the fact that their facility is under renovation is buried in the “fine print” A “please excuse our dust” message would be more honest prior to booking Or, an email regarding the renovation after booking would be helpful with the option to cancel at no charge if the guest is not comfortable staying in a location that is under (re)construction

Brian Roof

Hotel is undergoing major renovation, so things are a bit rough in the lobby and for access into the building -1 star for failing to notify guests of the heavy construction however I’m happy to see it being done I was a little annoyed by the emails this location sends to customers basically implying that we are terrible people if we don’t give a 5 star review as it will affect their staff bonus

Take care of your own staff, or maybe just give them bonus out of pocket since you are the one causing issues for them Either way, it’s kind of rude and dishonest how the email was wordedEverything was clean in the room, with no other issues, so overall the stay was acceptable

We stayed here for a weekend getaway The hotel was centrally located to everything that we needed There is plenty of shopping and dining very close

Some even walking distance The hotel was immaculate The staff was amicable and willing to help with any request needed The room was great Clean and nice sized The hotel is located in a perfect area, and it’s great for anyone looking for a weekend getaway or an extended stay I just wish they had more parking available near the entrance Some nights all the spots in the front were taken Not a big deal!

Ninette, the manager, checked us in—she was very welcoming When I got to the room, I noticed two things that were “off”

I went back to the desk and Ninette said she’d take care of them right away—and they were In the process, I met their maintenance staff and cleaning staff—again, all very helpful and friendlyThat’s what I look for in an EXCELLENT hotel issues are going to arise—what’s important is the speed and effectiveness in how the staff handles them My husband and I would definitely stay here again
