Jerilyn & Mike are great – very welcoming and accommodating – and the Inn on Front Street is clean, beautiful, and the breakfasts are great The pistachio cake they leave out for guests is amazing! From chocolates next to your bed, wine available for a late night glass, to the aroma of fresh coffee each morning makes this a great place to stay The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful as well

I cannot say enough about the comfort and cleanliness of the Inn I will be returning for sure

My husband and I stayed here on the first leg of our 10 yr wedding anniversary journey to the mountains of Tennessee The house is ABSOLUTELY amazing inside and out, the rooms are gorgeous throughout and the beds are AMAZINGLY comfortable The complimentary snacks & drinks were an added touch, and breakfast was FANTASTIC

But, what makes this all feel so comfortable & cozy are the owners, they are fabulous and make you feel like family I really think if we lived closer we would become great friends We will definitely be back sooner rather than later

Nate Hixson

We had such a lovely stay at the Inn on Front Street Jerilyn and Mike were wonderful hosts and were so gracious to accommodate our special dietary needs at breakfast We were also very impressed by how spotlessly clean the rooms and the rest of the home were

We will definitely be back the next time we are coming through! Thank you both for a great stay!

We were very pleased to enter the lobby of this new hotel The sign stating the cleanliness level was maintained at 98% was very high in our experience with hotels in the US The King bed suite rooms are impeccably clean and well-appointed

We loved the screens on the windows depicting autumn leaves that sift sunlight into the room while maintaining privacy There is a beautiful walking trail behind the hotel, which takes a bit of looking for to find it Wifi is free without loginA fantastic bargain for the price!

Excellent place to stay! The lady working at 3AM was so friendly and helpful She had us checked in within minutes The room was very clean

The bathroom was spotless The beds were pretty comfy, no complaints There were several, at least 6 USB outlets available and I loved that! Walmart is about 3 minutes away, and several restaurants were close by too And, most importantly, the rate wasn’t that bad Especially for a Saturday night Overall, we had a pleasant time and would definitely stay at this location again!

This hotel is in the middle of a sea of shopping centers It is incredibly difficult for someone driving from New England to NC to find! I blame the mass of construction before and engulfing the exits!Once there I found an understanding desk person and an immaculate room It’s one of the best accomodations I’ve ever stayed at

I’m glad I didn’t give up and find another place, even though I had reservations

2nd time staying at this hotel and it is a bit of a disappointment Fairly clean rooms, not much to complain about as far as cleanliness The restaurant is nice in the evening

But breakfast Utter disappointment Not much to pick from and on stayed Friday night night to Saturday morning Breakfast was EXTREMELY SLOW! I was told 20 minutes until I received my order once placed I somehow stayed an hour waiting, entertaining my children and still no food! We just got up and checking out and leaving empty handed for breakfast

I booked a reservation through AAA with this hotel because it was closest in proximity to my business destination and offered 24-hour check-in I drove approximately 8 hours and arrived just before 7 AM The front desk clerk did not “appropriately” greet me

He simply asked how could he help me I said “Good Morning” and told him I wanted to check in He told me check-in was at 3PM I referred to the 24-hour check-in He told me they don’t have a policy for that, but he could charge me for an additional stay to check in early I showed him all the amenities listed, including the 24-hour check-in He said it wasn’t on their website I immediately called AAA who suggested I go back and ask for the manager I asked a woman at the desk if she was the manager She said no and that the manager would not be in for a couple of hours As I spoke with the male clerk, I looked around and saw no one of my ethnicity in the hotel I told the clerk I was from that town and knew what was going on With that said, I decided to go elsewhere When I asked him if I would be charged a fee to cancel the reservation, the clerk said he would be “happy” to cancel my reservation My daughter went in to ask for an apology on my behalf and he told her to leave I found another hotel nearby that was more than willing and capable of accommodating my time sensitive needs prior to my scheduled business in town I booked a room at the other hotel and was allowed to check in immediately I told the clerk about my ordeal at Hilton Garden Inn of Statesville He informed me that he was previously employed there, but resigned because it was “not inclusive” I met another hotel employee upon checking out who shared the same sentiment I was born and bred in Statesville and was quite impressed with the town’s progress since I left almost 35 years ago, but Hilton Garden Inn of Statesville “do better”! If I could give this establishment less than 1 star, I would FYI, Hilton Garden Inn of Statesville, as recent as today 24-hour check-in is “still” listed under your amenities on the AAA app and according to AAA, all info posted on their app is provided by the hotels

Lindsay Mchugh

This was not the Hilton experience the front desk staff was very rude the room we booked was not offered When I tired to ask about getting the preferred room the lady snapped at me told me I needed to contact the 3rd party I booked through

I wasn’t trying to get the room though the 3rd party I wanted to know about getting the room through the hotel Very rude front desk The room was dirty but didn’t even complain about that since I knew it wouldn’t get me anywhere ened up checking out a day early Stay anywhere else if you want good service

Such a great place to stop by if you’re traveling with pets We were on the way back to Florida and couldn’t find any cheap hotels for the night that didn’t charge too much for pets This place was perfect! Great price, NO pet fee, and it was super clean!!! They even have a coffee bar in the lobby which we loved

We have decided that Red Roof will be our go-to hotel from now on

P Williams

Our dog said she’d return and we con”cur” :^) The only reason we deducted one star is because we experienced the same issue other Google reviewers have mentioned, which was a slow-draining shower & toilet Our room was FAR CLEANER than a high-end Hilton we stayed at in Knoxville recently

We enjoyed the welcome box for booking an upgraded room The coffee in the lobby was alot better than we expected We did not notice what some reviewers noted, which was a lack of connection points We had 11 accessible outlets in our room Unlike some reviews, we had plenty of towels, soap & shampoo Everything in our room worked, from the TV to the AC to the fridge & lights If I had one suggestion it would be to ask for a room on the side away from the interstate The noise from the bridge construction, and truckers who run rigs without mufflers to compensate for tiny wieners, can get loud from time to time This was our first experience at a Red Roof Inn due to traveling with a pet, and it was encouraging We will definitely return to this property if we find ourselves in the area again

Hannah Taylor

Unclean room and most unfriendly staff I’ve come across People lurk around at night and look in cars We didn’t feel safe here and we were worried our car would be broken into

The photos do not look similar to when you get there There was a huge spider in the bathroom and that was the cherry on top that made us leave We ended up not feeling comfortable staying there and leaving 10 minutes after arriving When we tried to get our money back as they knew we’d only been in the room 5 minutes, they made a huge fuss about it and told us to leave without staying if they’d give us a refund or not Not sure why as we’re a very understanding, calm couple that just wanted our money back and to leave He basically just kicked us out It was a man was in his 50s maybe Stay somewhere else

Check in went smooth, had a king bed on first floor, room smelt good was very clean, had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker The shower had good pressure and hot water The on-site bar/restaurant was convenient, the menu is limited tho, but prices for food was very resonable

The pool was very nice and refreshing with towels on the deck so you don’t need to bring from your room The morning breakfast was your standard fare with a helpful attendantWould definitely stay again

Excellent stay everything was clean everything was just right The grounds are beautiful! The rooms were updated and smelled wonderful It was a blessing to stay here for just one night during our travels I highly recommend this Ramada to anyone looking for a safe clean enjoyable experience

God bless to all who stay here Front desk staff was extremely accommodating and quite polite!

Donna Mary McFadden-Marcelino

This last visit was met with very friendly and helpful front desk clerk Breakfast was nice as always, however I personally wish they would hire a housekeeping staff that takes pride in their job I stay here approximately 6 times per year in my travels and the room is never cleaned well

Occasionally broken lamps are left in room and the filter/vents are usually pretty dirty If all the employees were as kind, friendly and helpful as on my last visit and better housekeeping, I would give a 5 star compliment

Our room was comfortable and clean It was a difficult night for the hotel as the manager explained that a component of their computer system had “fried” and they were unable to give key cards out They escorted us to our room and unlocked the door that way

Mildly inconvenient but the manager was very apologetic about the situation and said there would be a free breakfast in the morning Luckily the computer will be fixed by Monday so hopefully the staff can get back to normal work conditions You would think that a big corp like Marriott would be able to get something like that fixed sooner!

DaviesGarage

On our way to Florida we stayed here on March 2nd It was last minute & the gentleman behind the counter had just showed up for his shift and helped the girl find us a room with a king size bed She was having trouble but he was very quick and helped us out

The young man at the bar gave me directions and was very friendly We will likely stay here on our way home

We were trying to drive all the way home from our trip but decided we needed to stop and sleep Called and spoke with Cher She was so nice and helped us with booking the room

The hotel itself was very clean and inviting It is located off of the interstate so it was quiet The hot breakfast and coffee was nice to have on our way out

Kathi Tollerton

After driving 8 hours, arriving tired and hungry, we were greeted with smiles and assistance Due to medical issues, we needed some extra assistance This manager went out of her way to help provide a safe and comfortable place to lay our tired heads

The breakfast staff were also kind and helpful This will be our go to place to stay in the future The pizza shop next door was a great place to eatI can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the staff They all exceeded our expectations We are very grateful

Pros:Plenty of things to do onsiteThe staff was very sweetClean Linens in CabinCabin was Very CleanEasy Check InVery neat corn hole set up

Awesome porch with swingCons:The arcade smelled like smoke and mildewThere was a fair amount of what appeared to be “permanent RV sites” that were an eye soar from our cabin porch Just trash and building materials every whereThe pavilion and pool area looked very “aged” and not well kept upOverall, it was a good experience for our last minute booking The campground was very aged and not a lot of upkeep/upgrades I probably wouldn’t return personally but would deter anyone from experiencing it themselves

hannah Fr v

Has the POTENTIAL to be a great camp ground!! The pull in sites with the concrete were very nice by the pond! However the permanent sites were really bad eye sores!! There was JUNK surrounding them including building materials, kids toys, TRASH, and weed/leaves up to your knees!! Oh yeah and cars on blocks!! The kind jump pillow was neat but had fire ants all over!! There was a cold game room and store but had trash and smelled like smoke! Pictures on the website were very deceiving!!
