Absolutely excellent hotel, especially if you want a kitchen They provided everything we needed as far as pots, pans, dishes, etc it feels very clean and spacious for a hotel, and the price is excellent

Breakfast was also even nicer than we expected It ends at 9 on weekdays, and would have helped us if it always lasted until 10 like it does on weekendsThe staff is also very kind and helpful They took care of all of our needs while we were there

Always An American

I lost track of a friend for 25 years He lives in Michigan I live in California

We both traveled to Texas He stayed in a few different hotels; by the time I arrived, he had found the Residence It was perfect and clean, and the staff was very helpful Our suite was across the hall from my friend’s, very convenient I stayed 5 days he stayed for 12 days They have now raised the bar for other hotels to meet

Jess

Upon arrival they messed up and failed to put us in the correct room per our reservation They put my family in 2 different rooms side by side which was okayFast forward 5 months later and they decide to charge our credit card again for another amount they failed to collect at the time of checkout

Sent us a bogus receipt with information that didn’t event exist per our reservation Called hotel and hotel manager never called back Disputed charge and then they decide to send the cc company the correct invoiceManagement – why not send the correct invoice from the start and charge the correct amount at the time of stay Very poor customer service!! Will not return

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and it was amazing! Definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at Luis at the bar was super friendly and made great drinks

Hot tub and fitness center were super nice as well Overall a really great stay I do agree that that refrigerators are a bit small but overall, very happy with our stay! Would love to stay here again if we’re ever in town again!

Haylei Graham

Upon arrival I was so happy with how clean the hotel was The front desk people were super helpful and friendly I cannot say enough about the customer service we received

The manager and all the staff was absolutely amazing and I would recommend this hotel to everyone Thank you for such great service and everything you did to help our family We are forever grateful Top notch staff!!

Danielle

The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very kind and welcoming He was helpful and personable It was a nice hotel

I would stay there again It was conveniently located to where we needed to be The only thing I didn’t like was in the morning when we tried to get breakfast, it was a little unclear how it worked We thought a server would come over to us but after 10 min no one did so we left Other than that, it was a nice and clean hotel

We were traveling with our furry baby, the hotel made our stay exceptional Wonderful staff, clean room, and a perfect room for us with our furry baby We had zero issues at check-in, she was warmly welcomed

We got a special door tag to let housekeeping know we had a furry baby, just in case they went in and we were gone The room had hard wood floor making it much easier to clean up any accidents (she had zero) And there were places for her to hide, explore, and perch (which we know cats love to do) She felt right at home snuggling in bed with us and using her portable litter box (we brought our own) Breakfast the next morning was also super good Highly would recommend!

Hotel is in a great location with easy access to frontage road and good restaurants nearby Front desk staff is extremely nice and helpful and was able to check me in with ease They also answered all questions I had about nearby stores and room charges

Beds are comfortable while the rooms and hotel lobby has a fun atmosphere to it Pool table, gym and other games available down stairs My only complaints are the King suite is a tad bit small for what I’m used to and the bathroom in 212 smelled like urine when I walked in the room I was only here for one night so I didn’t complain about it to management but the smell did not go away over night

AC Caballero

The staff was nice, but there didn’t seem to be any ownership taken to remedy things Nice, but they don’t get things doneI asked for towels 3 times – each time I was told that the towels were all in the laundry and would be brought to me once they dried – this took place for almost 2 days

Finally they sent towels – they sent 2 bath, 2 drying, and 2 Hand towels – sets for 2 people I originally asked for 4 sets (although we have 3 guests in the room and I reminded them of us of having 3 guests in the room)Additionally, on day one, I called to alert them of the water pressure in the shower, which was literally only a trickle of water! I was told that someone would come check it out No one came I called the next day and was told that they didn’t have additional rooms to move us to (which I understood) but was also told that the most they could do is close the room after our stay, so they could get a Plumber out here to check on the water pressure Here’s my concern with this, I do not believe the issue with the water suddenly appeared upon our arrival – this had to be preexisting I struggle to believe that the previous guests in this room would not have said something to the staff about the water pressure In all outward appearances, it seems to be a situation of expensive repairs superseding the need to fairly accommodate guest visits – that sucks! Not that I asked, but they didn’t even try to offset these debacles by lowering the bill Which makes me think they don’t see problems that are right in their faces I’m guessing the positive reviews are linked to other locations

Very nice people at the front desk They had a keg when you come in for all of the guests to have beer, got to love that!Unfortunately I did not sleep well either night because the pillows are just way too soft Next time I’ll be bringing my own

Slin S

It’s amazing how different one Hampton Inn is from the other This one is great and clearly well managed Friendly staff and clean accommodations

I dinged down one star because 2 of the 3 treadmills had issues (one suddenly stops mid-run / the other’s track needs attention) Also, b’fast leaves a bit to be desired Otherwise great for the rate!

After staying here for a week the pool was closed on multiple days and when it was open no towels, we could not get house keeping unless we asked for it Breakfast was always missing something… cereal but no milk, gravy but biscuits etc… To top things off my truck and another truck there got broken into they busted out our windows Informed the front desk and they said they were aware it but didn’t have cameras but had security on site I was there week never once did I see him there

And really just acted like who cares Be very careful where you park if you decide to stay there

Cami Casner

Our truck got broken into and they have no security cameras so nothing was done When we went to the police they said that this happens all the time at this hotel When I went to the front desk to let them know they said they were aware and told me it was park at my own risk even though they did not have a sign that said that at all

Don’t recommend for the money you’re paying to stay They should have security

If you are looking for a place to stay in Houston, TX, do yourself a favor and book at room at Courtyard Houston Northwest My wife, some friends, and I were experiencing the ultimate travel nightmare before we ran into this hotel We had multiple issues with multiple Marriott properties the night before/day we ended up checking into this hotel

We refused a room at the Marriott property next to the Courtyard, and thankfully the Courtyard had an open room for duration of our trip Everyone in our party was frustrated and tired from traveling along with the hotel issues, but the two ladies working the front desk here on June 9th empathized with us and ensured us they would take care of usThe two ladies upgraded our room to a large room with a balcony, and they asked multiple times if there was anything else they could do to make our experience great Their attitudes/friendly service were more than enoughThe hotel, grounds, and room were exceptional Everyone was friendly from the time we checked in to the time we leftI am not sure how Marriott rewards their employees, but the two ladies working the front on June 9th around 5:30pm should be rewarded to the fullest extent

Jamie Spence

Do NOT stay at this location The negligence is mind-blowing They have no cameras in the parking lot and people’s cars are constantly getting broken into

My husband’s truck was broken into last year around this same time and Christmas presents were stolen out of the console while parked in their parking lot He thought it was an isolated incident, so he stayed there again this year Last night, three trucks parked in the front row, including his, had the tailgates stolen off of them thirty feet from the front doors of the hotel, in full view of the front desk The staff somehow “didn’t notice” (or are getting paid off by the thieves) The police told him this morning that this hotel has developed a reputation for constant thefts over the last few years, so why is it Marriott hasn’t put in any cameras? How is it the staff never “notices” this happening right in front of the front doors? Why hasn’t the GM taken any action regarding this situation and taking care of their guests? Marriott, come on This is ridiculous

It was a very nice clean room, and hotel But there’s a few things I didn’t like1

No free breakfast, this is the only Holiday inn that I’ve been to that did not offer it2 The pool wasn’t heated, and didn’t have towels for guest to dry off And felt like people were sneaking in through the parking lot to swim3 The room only had two large towels, in a double bed room4 No laundry bag in the room5 Trash cans didn’t have liners in them

S K

Event coordinator/manager is a disaster at this hotel Holiday Inn should fire this person on the spot Was not accommodating to large groups

Was not accommodating to kids Ran out of towels and was very unprofessional in dealing with that situation Another negative is the Saturday night bartender She seemed annoyed and was unprepared to serve drinks Between her eating or texting on the job, it was rare to get served a drinkOnly positive, and a HUGE positive, was the breakfast staff Very professional and accommodating Compliments to the chef!

Mary Mcminn

This hotel is supper clean and my family thought it was brand new only to be informed the location has been open for 8 yearsWe met Damion at the front desk and he did an excellent job to accommodate our needs and he was supper respectful We would visit and stay here again

We just don’t have 10 start to give !!!

Rooms were clean There were 3 light bulbs were out in our room Maintenance only had a bulb for above the bed

The desk/work area had 2 bulbs out that had to be ordered in, so the lighting was dim Their website should remove the complimentary shuttle service, since they no longer offer it They have a on-site gym & pool The pool was clean & water was warm The gym was always in use & always clean The staff was so kind & attentive Breakfast was not much to speak of: cereal, cold blueberry muffins (the staff would warm them up in the kitchen microwave for you), pre-made egg mcmuffin-type breakfast sandwich & mini veggie tartes, and some fresh fruit They also had a juice machine

The office lobby was very clean and inviting The front desk clerk Tracy was very friendly and also was very concerned about me being comfortable She went above and beyond to help me with my hotel room

She was super polite and professional My stay there was brief due the location being too far for me The room was nice and I really appreciated off of the help that Tracy assisted me with She would make a wonderful manager if she is not already one

Mohamed Alamin

Great place to book if you’re looking for long term stays I stayed in the single suite room It was spacious, clean and comfy

The hotel itself was quiet and served breakfastThe staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentiveLocation wise it was around 40 minutes from downtown, but the Willowbrook Mall was a 5 min walk away in addition to other shopping options and supermarkets Will definitely stay there again if I get the chance

The rooms and hotel was clean It looks like it could use updates and some fixes but overall rooms qere great! The staff here were very friendly and helpful We were there memorial weekend and when getting ready to check out Monday my son was burning up and I needed to know how bad

The woman at the front desk used their thermometer to check him and gave us great advice on how to bring his fever down By the time we checked out at 1200 his fever was down and we had a quiet drive homeI wish I could remember her name! This was my baby’s first fever and this is new to me, but her calm kept me calm If she sees this she knows who she is, thank you!!

The hotel was fine, basic breakfast, clean room, pool However, my catalytic converter was cut and stolen off my vehicle just after I checked in at 3:30, parked in front of the lobby This hotel is located on I-45, which allows for a quick get away, and the brazen theft in broad daylight, at check in time, in front of the lobby would keep me from staying again

Management was supposed to call me to follow up, but never did

Clifford Teagle

Cons Rooms need to be updatedWhen we checked in went to dinner came back a group of kids were booked on floor above us kept us up all night they were running up and down the floorsGrounds keeper was cutting lawn at 7am that woke us up out of our sleepPros

Staff was nice and professional they tried to accommodate us with points on our account, and free snacks

We stayed here on a work trip and found the hotel to be just fine We checked in after 1:00am because of a late night at work, and the desk clerk had already closed our reservation He was A-OK to open it back up, but that caused a little extra time for check-in

We checked out at noon the next day, so almost all our time here was sleepingThere’s not much to review in this case I’ll say there’s nothing spectacular about the experience to bump up to four or five stars, but a three is above average, and that was our experienceThe room was very clean and well appointed In fact, all the parts of the hotel that we saw were incredibly clean and bright I’m nearly certain we will stay here again, and will recommend to other friends who might be down that way

Jeffrey Moore

Stayed one night … think again, everyone takes a shower and general when you take a a shower you open your mouth So I went to rinse out your mouth I looked up to shower head and bam tons of black mold all over the faucet heads

if your staff is in such a hurry to clean my room When I have not even checked out Why do I feel disappointed and disgusted by the site of your shower head Are you really worth Four and half stars

Tricia Perez

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Tomball was exceptionally clean and well- maintained Staff was friendly and helpful The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the air conditioner did not cool the room well

I need a temp of 69 or below to sleep well and, with the humidity, the a/c didn’t reach that level during the night The bed was very comfortable, but I didn’t sleep well due to the temperature in the room

Nice clean hotel with a modern feel Starbucks, free breakfast, laundry, and bar on-site The breakfast was hot and had lots of options! We stayed on the third floor on the freeway side

The room was not very soundproof and we heard cars going up and down the road all night Definitely need to ask for a room on the back side of the hotelThe staff was very friendly and helpful with all my requestsI would stay here again! If you found this review helpful, please hit the like button!

Bri be me

I had to come from out of town for business so my company put me in a hotel I am a very clean person and terribly scared of bedbugs, lice, fleas, ticks, etc So needless to say, I was pretty scared

I checked my room and it was very very clean No bugs in any lining at all I was pleasantly relieved My room was on the interstate side I will say, you do hear the cars go by I personally, didn’t mind It is a hotel and most are right off highways Besides, I am a heavy sleeper and find the cars to be a soothing background noise I cannot sleep with pure silence I am a little disappointed that I didn’t have a microwave and that the fridge was not very cold inside All in all though, clean and very nice rooms/suites (I don’t know which I was booked for) Parking was also convenient and well lit I felt safe here and I feel like that can put my family at ease a little bit In regards to staff, I didn’t have a problem They were informative and pretty nice Did I mention- free breakfast Free food is always a blessing 😊

Alexander Ho

Went here to celebrate and have a getaway with the significant other celebrating an anniversary, and it was pretty convenient for the price, location and ease of everything Kudos to the hotel staff that also run the Starbucks and bar area – went to get a late-night Tequila Sunrise and Peach Margarita and they honored the happy hour price when they didn’t have toOnly issue I had was the fridge not working properly, but I think may have to do with people seldom using the ADA roll-in shower room type – which, might I add, had good accommodations if you get around in a wheelchair

This hotel is clean and affordable Provides complementary breakfast and cocktail hour with 3 free cocktails/adult beverages and dinner!! Food at dinner is not restaurant quality but definitely adequate if you’re trying to save money The staff are so pleasant from beginning to end of the stay

The man at the front desk was friendly and funny as well as the lady serving cocktails at dinner We will stay at Drury brands again!

Ashley

We were attending a concert at the Cynthia Woods Amphitheater so the location was great The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean Breakfast and evening reception were pretty good and offered everything pictured

Ice machines were on floors 1, 4, & 6 and with only two elevators the wait was long at times but otherwise everything was great

Brittney Humphries

Hot tub wasn’t working and that was my main reasoning for booking a room The solution from the front desk was I could cancel but why would I do that if I was told “if you cancel you’ll still be charged the full price” I found dirty towels in my bathroom

The lobby area is much nicer than the actual room Honestly, it’s a let down compared to the pictures shown online The rooms are tiny and so are the bathrooms

Frankly, I think this facility is on the rise Most of the building is in pretty good nick There’s some cosmetic touches left, some door locks to replace and the pool needs a thorough facelift BUT the cleanliness was fantastic

We have seen four pools on this trip and this was BY FAR the cleanestThe breakfast was yummy and rotated some from day to day That’s really nice when you are staying for several daysStaff was prompt and courteous This property is very well managed My understanding is that repairs are pending on the pool so check ahead to make sure it’s open if that is a deal breaker for you when booking!Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing the new look next time This hotel sports a classic pool/spa layout with an adjoining wall that is an old fave!!

KIMBERLEY BROOKE

I checked in early today with my 3 granddaughters for some swimming fun and a sleepover!Christian at the front has been nonstop kind and helpful, going above and beyond!!! Room, Pool, and hottub area clean

We like staying here never disappointed!!!

Holly Gray

Nightmare Pool and hot tub were SOOO over-chlorinated that we were coughing, itching, and watery burning eyes and had to evacuate the pool area despite all windows being open (it’s indoor) after 5 minutes The room had a broken lamp, an iron burned footrest, and blood all over the sheet! We had to change rooms

The lady at the desk was very friendly and was absolutely mortified Bless her heart She tried her best to fix things
