We stayed here while traveling home When we went to leave in the morning are truck windows as well as other guests were smashed out The truck was ram sacked and items were stolen

Our 6 year old was terrified All we got from the staff was it happened outside the building we are not responsible There was no sign posted where we parked We parked right outside the side door They have no cameras funny how that works, When speaking to the police this is a NORMAL occurrence at this hotel We were never made aware or this when checking in Would of still stayed With the hotel chain just a different location We have a child who’s safety comes first The hotel and hotel chain refused to even take steps to help prevent the next family from going through this I keep getting there are signs posted in the parking lots that state they are not responsible If you know your guest safety is at risk why are you not taking steps to help prevent this situation by getting cameras or security We will no longer stay with this hotel chain We have a 6 year old who will never look at staying at hotels the same again We are now left with paying for all the insurance deductibles (they also damage the door)and the hotel stay because the hotel doesn’t care about the customer as long as they got their money for that night The $100+ stay just turned into $2000 but hey it’s right outside the door on their property but since it’s in the parking lot we could care less about it We will also continue to take guests money knowing this will continue to happen to the next family who choose to stay here IHG has lost my business and well as my cooperate business partners who travel with them regularly Do the right thing and tell your guest for their safety, have some compassion when it does happen and try to make it right with your guest

Arrived at the hotel and I had completed my checking online While waiting desk clerk ignored me and checked in another customer that arrived after me little annoying Recieved keys and parked and settled in the room

Exterior hall floor black and filthy and room carpet also dark and filthy Room was spacious and beds seemed clean and orderly Went to dinner awesome and came back and enjoyed the pool Woke up and we enjoyed the express breakfast and started to pack up the room and took my bags down to the car and found someone had attempted and failed to break into my car Notified the desk and they stated call police not out pro let and no cameras on exterior or facility Cops arrived gave statement and claim with insurance which now a $200 stay now is costing me $700 Was Notified by law enforcement that this hotel this is very common and seems to be the target of auto theft from out of state travelers I am an IHG member for yrs and have never had this happen and no security cameras amazed me We will not be visiting Lexington, KY ever again Stay away from this hotel or park in the front

Such a great hotel! The pool area has a hot tub – always a bonus The breakfast options were plentiful and had something for all Rooms were on par with Residence Inn expectations – spacious and clean

Service couldn’t be beat! Great hospitality and personable staff Major shout out to Lakin! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and appreciated as loyalty members This level of service is not often seen anymore She’s an asset to the property and the Marriott brand The next time we are in the area, this will be our stopping place!

Kiana Jackson

This location is absolutely amazing! From the rooms to the amenities to the staff, I absolutely loved and enjoyed my time spent here Lakin, who works at the front desk was able to find us exactly what we were looking for and at the last minute! She was so sweet, professional and helpful I can’t thank her enough! Also this stay is located right around just about anything you can think of from grocery stores to nail shops! I can’t wait until the next time 😊

Handles falling off drawers and cabinets Hair and candy wrappers littered the deep end of the pool Was assured hot tub was working prior to making my reservation and during check in (the only reason we booked the hotel – we are locals and just wanted to chill in a hot tub for a weekend)

The hot tub was warm, but not hot The next day, it was cold and was told it would take a few hours to heat up Then we were told it couldn’t warm up because the temperature outside was too cold Overheard multiple other excuses/lies about their ‘working’ hot tub during our stay Wish we would have stayed anywhere else Food was disappointing

I really liked this hotel It is right off of I64 making it easy if you are there to see Frankfort, or want to tour the distilleries The rooms are large which I like, and it is nice having a sofa to relax on after a long day of driving

Highly recommended The most memorable part of my month long stay is the all night long restful comfort of the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in I was here, along with friends, for the month of July

Room was spotless and comfortable My room Attendant, Leaha, was efficient, friendly, unobtrusive, doing and excellent job The daily free breakfast bar included a healthy and wide variety of tasty foods and beverages The Attendant, Annie, kept all food items in sufficient supply as well keeping all tables sanitized and spotless during her shift On a side note: a man was on duty never wiped tables or spills on the counter surfaces and food frequently ran out by 9am during his shift The patio/courtyard area was comfortable and kept clean The only negative is the free wifi was very poor and unable to access unless I went to the dining area or the computer room

J. Lawrence

The fist time I stayed here there was an issue with a toilet that was always running and a shower door with chipped glass-not to mention some construction going on at the time (think of a cement truck running, then backing up seemingly every 15 minutes, starting at around 4am)The staff moved me to a different room without issue, really, and my subsequent stays were pretty goodMon-wed they do a social hour from 5-7, free dinner food and $1 beer- Not bad at all if you’re exhausted from a new job and are staying there until your family joins you in town There is a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, a two burner stove, and a microwave in the suites, which made it really convenient

As of June/July of ’22, there’s unfortunately some construction going on that is an unpleasant alarm clockBut really, I would recommend Staybridge to visitors I have, actually

Sundee Holliday

We spent one night here for our last night in town Really impressed with the size our 1 bedroom suiteLet me start with the kitchen: Full sized kitchen with a full size fridge

The kitchen has a counter top stove, a microwave that is bigger than the one in my home The cupboards were stocked with plates, bowls, cups, mixing bowls Yes there is even silverwareNice sized living room Same with the bedroom Both the living room and bedroom had tvs The beds were very comfortable too!Bathroom: Separate vanity from the toilet and showerBreakfast: Nice little buffet downstairs stocked with coffee, juices, milk, muffins, warm donuts, cheese omelets, cereals, toast, bagels, sausagesNighttime: I know they have a social hour downstairs and you could get drinks, we didn’t partake in this as my daughter wanted to swim in the poolPool: Nice temperature, indoors, large and cleanPatio: Seen several guys bbqing for their dinner, the patio is really set up nice!

Nice place to stay, close to downtown, about a 3 minute drive Couple different restaurants near the hotel which makes picking where to eat less of a hassleThe rooms were very nice, very clean

Beds were comfortable and bathroom had a bath and not just a shower which was nice The carts you use to bring up your luggage was a bit of a tight squeeze in the entrance of the room, but still fit non the less Over all, I would definitely stay here again!

Terri Lane Noe

Very comfy room Ac nice and cold during this heat wave Good water pressure

Bed very comfy especially if you like a firm mattress Only draw back was the tub was really hard to stand in It must have been refinished which left a very narrow area in the bottom for you to stand flat It does have grip but makes for a very awkward shower I would not try to bathe in the tub It would be too narrow

Becky Walls

The rooms were clean and comfortable enough Beds were good However, we never were able to get the AC to work

Fortunately my husband and me are not people who have to have it really cool Biggest frustration was with the supposedly “hot” breakfast There was nothing hot but toast and a sketchy waffle maker Coffee had to be the worst I have ever had Colored water Also, no one brought us clean Linens until I called for the second time Was told that I should have brought them and exchange them For the price they were getting for these rooms, the least they could do is bring ckean linensrooms, the least I could do is bring you clean Linens rooms oh, I think the least they can do is bring you clean Linens

Excellent service The hosts truly were masters of making us feel pampered My wife and I have several dietary restrictions, and they happily accommodated us, making special breakfasts and desserts just for us

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful The rooms were very nice and decorated modern

location was great, restaurants and shopping was nice Could walk everywhere The rooms and hall was very quite bathroom was large and well lit however there was no safety bars or a bamboo seat hard for a woman to shave her legs with out slipping pillows not good so bring your own or go to target and buy one bed was nice Restaurant food was good But not a large selection

Meagan Warfield

The hotel is beautiful I love the location It’s close to a bunch of little shops and restaurants, so you can walk around and not have to worry about more driving or finding parking

The room was exceptionally clean The beds are comfortable as well The TV offers cable channels but you can also sign into apps like Netflix or YouTube so you have more options for shows if you just want to spend time in your room The gym also has a variety of machines and equipment so you can keep up on your workout routine Overall, I was really impressed with the hotel and will be back

Courtney Farley

Loved the location Walking distance to an outdoor shopping mall and restaurants Playground/run around area for kids to get energy out and the hotel let us use it as a bathroom place for our dogs (cleaned up after them)

Lobby is great to hang out in No microwaves in rooms but does have Keurig Would definitely stay again Friendly staff at the front desk as well

The best part of our stay was the friendly staff, especially Ashley in the dining room If I could give a dual rating, I would give the staff a 5/5 and the hotel a 1/5, so I’ll give it a 25/5

The rooms were not very clean One of the bed sheets had stains and holes in it When we asked for it to be replaced, the new sheets had stains and holes as well There was also a huge bug on the ceiling There were multiple stains on the ottoman, and the desk was sticky with multiple scratches The housekeeping staff was friendly and hard-working The hotel is just outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment: new linens, new furniture, bed skirts, caulking, etc Allowing dogs in the building is a huge drawback for me Overpriced for what you get

Brandon Fawley

I would have given it a 2 star, but the people at the front desk were great Made some great recommendations for my family, and she was very knowledgeable of the area The hotel itself had some issues that need to be addressed

The main area/restaurant area was gross, the carpet was disgusting and that was the first thing you see when you walk in the main door Overall the rooms need a major update, tub and showers had years of grime stains Ice machine was broke on the floor we were on And we paid $6 for the worst continental breakfast ever, not sure if they were just having a bad day, but on day 2 of our stay we chose to go to Cracker Barrel If it was not for the very nice people that work there, we may have left before Night 2 I now see why they offer a cheaper, no cancelation deals

christe bellow

Room smelled like mildew right when you walked in Must’ve had a water issue at some point So our TV remote didn’t work

They brought another one after trying to fix the one we already had They actually brought 2 more I think None worked They moved us to the room next door but it had 2 beds instead of a king So we just said forget it because by that point it was actually late It took quite awhile, this remote fiasco lol We kept our original room We received a credit for the hassle and all was good The ladies tried to help and they were very very nice about it

Hayden Newport

Where do I begin Was given incorrect directions as to where our room was located so we could use the most convenient door for entry It was on the opposite side of the hotel as we were instructed

Outdoor key pad at that door didn’t even work after we had moved our vehicle once we found out we were on opposite side Elevators were not clean Went to check out pool and the entry door to the pool area was unlocked (key access not needed must have been broken) which was a safety issue The hot tub wasn’t working, it was taped and blocked off with pool chairs And there was literally 6 towels on the towel rack The bar was not open like advertised The ice machine on our floor did not work I would definitely not come back

A Google User

Room too cold No routine in room housekeeping services provided during guest stays, terrible considering the high rates Marriott quality is slipping

Room has some dirty soiled spots on the carpet and stains on the wall in the bathroom Service is very poor Overall the experience was disappointing Top dollar charged for less than satisfactory accommodations or service Complimentary breakfast was not provided Front desk clerk acted like she was doing us a favor at check-in Asked “why are you here?” which was none of her business TV programming selection stinks Body wash dispenser in the shower tub was empty, finished shower with their pre-packed soap slivers Hotel is outdated, even lacks USB ports to charge cell phones or other electronic equipment Heard guests on the floor above walking, bouncing or stomping on the floor all night, the noise made sleep very difficult Bed very uncomfortable A terrible stay overall! Did not feel like a valued customer or a welcome guest and checked out early

Marty Cassady

I’m surprised this hotel still gets so many stars That will be changing soon, I am sure I would not stay here again

It was a decent place to sleep with a lot of problems The hot tub was roped off closed with no explanation The fitness room was 89° and the air would not cool it down The fire pit was not turned on, and none of the cushions have been put on the outdoor furniture even though we are well into spring The security door to the courtyard area is completely missing, leaving it open to the back parking lot The shelves for the snack pantry were basically empty And the back door, which has a sign saying it requires a key for entry for the security of guests, was completely unlocked It really felt like nearly every little detail is going overlooked Maybe they are short staffed But this place is nothing special at the current time

We came for the Mother’s Day brunch and were the last seating time We were also the last table to get to the Buffet Several of the foods were gone and the ones that were there were crackers and cheese and fruit also salad

I was disappointed for 2800 a plate and we assumed there would be more breakfast items such as biscuits and gravy They did have bacon and it was cooked very well The wait staff was friendly and kept our drinks full We may try again when its not so busy for a holiday We did not stay in a room The Inn is very lovely

Woodford Inn was the perfect place to stay! We were welcomed at the door upon arrival, check in was efficient, and the hosts were friendly We continued to be delighted by the menu choices, wine list, and delicious entrees! Claire

I’m really surprised that this place has some good ratings My hotel room here was out of a horror film We lasted about two hours and left to get a different hotel

As soon as we walked into our room, you could both smell AND feel the moisture in there This was beyond regular summer humidity It wreaked of mildew and mold We figured it would only be a maximum of two nights and it would be easier to just deal with it than to get another hotel room But looking around we continued to find more things that made us uneasyOne thing that really grossed me out was that there was something sticky all over the headboard of my bed It looked like someone opened up a can of soda and it exploded and no one cleaned it up properly On top of that, our curtains were ripped and duct tapped back together The bathroom smelled like cigarettes as soon as you opened the door Baseboards above carpet were ripped off the wall There was literally a HOLE in the wall next to the window! Even the laminated paper on the table had food/drink spilled on it that was not cleaned upAnd of course we left without getting a penny back I’ve stayed at cheap roadside motels that are nicer than this, this is honestly one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever seen I’m shocked they allowed guests in thereI took many pictures to back up everything I have claimed here, however this review does not allow me to post pictures… and I can tell why

Tina Hoover

Unfortunately this was a horrible experience Called several times to make reservations but staff was outside smoking Room was dirty and curtains had a bunch of black tape on them

Went for breakfast at 730 and 1st shift was just walking in 3rd shift did not set things up for 1st and so there was no breakfast ready Staff was scrambling Went to leave and caution tape was put over the exits Unable to leave Finally they removed caution tape so we could leave Not sure why caution tape was there but they easily removed it Do not recommend

Michael Luke

Room not ready at 3:00

checked in after 3:45, room still not done Refrigerator didn’t work ,turned off and no know No working Ice Machine in hotel Wife has medication 💊that needed refrigerated Accessible room had tethered shower head removed and replaced with standard head that was mounted high on wallNEVER STAY at Baymont again, eventhough I am a Wyndham points user

We stayed overnight because we had a bourbon tour scheduled for the next day Walked in and they must have been cleaning the floor because there were mops leaning against the counter and it had a cleaning smell Room was good, and nice hot water in room

Breakfast had pork sausage, eggs, oatmeal etc The following morning the lobby was pristine and had no chemical smell Overall a nice place to stay

Mike Terry

Pretty straight forward place to stay I have stayed here 4-5 times a year for the last 7 years and although there are not a lot of frills it has consistently been a dependable place to stay and I have had no complaints Rooms are a good size and have always been substantial

Overall price has been fair and generally one of the more affordable properties within a given range

Debbie Jones

We came in super late on 8/3 and the front desk attendant was so helpful and understanding as we were exhausted! Everyone went over and beyond! We slept better than we have in the past, and we travel often We were on the 127 Yard Sale trip, and after 4 nights in different hotels, this was still the very best!! Hats off to management at this hotel!! A++++ ❤️

Location, location, location If you’re looking for a place to stay in an excellent location, this is one of them But I believe an excellent location can lead a business into laziness and complacency

This is the feeling I got from Capital PlazaFirst, I want to say that the employees at Capital Plaza were wonderful people I place none of the responsibility of my “just okay” experience on them as individuals The overall experience, however, was disappointing We blocked off a set of rooms for our wedding down the road at Buffalo Trace Distillery We had coordinated with Ashley, the event organizer, to have gift bags handed out to guests as they checked in We sent those several weeks in advance from our home in Dover, DE A few guests had arrived before us and did not receive their bags When we asked Ashley about it, we found that the gift bags were still in the package we’d sent, tucked away in a back room With a shrug and a smile, Ashley handed them to us to give to the front desk for disseminationWhen we arrived, we wanted to include an itinerary in the gift bags; my wife drafted them up and emailed them to Ashley who had agreed to print them out, as we couldn’t access the computer in the business center As documents tend to do, the formatting shifted when Ashley opened them, but rather than catch this and correct it, or bring it to our attention, she printed them as they were and we had to improviseOn the final day of our stay, one of my wife’s worst nightmares was realized when she got stuck in an elevator Now, things like this happen, and it’s hard to fault people for unexpected mechanical issues What I took issue with was the utter lack of urgency from the maintenance department The situation was addressed with minimal effort and shoulder shrugs When I addressed this with the front desk, the response was “I’m sorry that happened, but” According to the clerk, a contractor had come in to work on a different elevator without notifying the hotel, and for whatever reason they had shut down the elevator that my wife had been in somewhere between the third and fourth floor When a maintenance guy joined the conversation, he blamed “the computers” and “bugs” and what-not There had been no indicators that any of the elevators would be worked on that day and ultimately, a strap of caution tape was haphazardly taped across the elevator on the first floorWhen we checked out later that morning, another desk clerk asked how our stay was and I pointed out my disappointment with the lack of urgency during the situation She was much more sympathetic, but I didn’t get the sense that any further action would be takenThe Capital Plaza is a short walk to downtown Frankfort and a short drive to the Buffalo Trace Distillery and many other excellent restaurants It’s a gorgeous area, and I can’t help but wonder if the hotel’s location has led to a culture of complacency People are going to stay there Hell, I recommend that you do stay there–as long as you’re just passing through and want a short and safe walk to the bars and breweries in beautiful and historic downtown, Frankfort; however, I would not recommend Capital Plaza if you’re looking to host a local event

Our room was dingy and outdated The best part about it was the shower head even though the bathtub drained very slowly The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were cheap and flimsy

There were stains on the carpet and the ceiling had spots flaking off After our first night I got some extra towels and wash rags (all were thin and could be used as 100 grit sandpaper) and coffee for our room and found out the next morning a huge wad of hair was inside one of the bath towelsgross! The breakfast they cooked was nasty, so we just ate oatmeal, muffins, and bagels The cream cheese tasted old and spoiled No fresh fruit was available both mornings we were there The staff, including front desk people were at least friendly For as much as they charge per night, we expected a nice room, good warm breakfast, and hairless soft towels Needless to say, we will not be returning to Capital Plaza Hotel

Free breakfast is included and it’s enough for breakfastThe bar and built in restaurant has been closed since covid so don’t expect to drink here

Holiday Inn has become my favorite hotel in the last few years, and this one is an example of why Super friendly staff, extremely clean and well kept, rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic The biscuits and gravy were just like grandma’s and were a perfect start to the day

Should I find myself in Versailles again, I’ll surely be patronizing this establishment again

Everything was pretty good my only complaint was the bed was not as soft as I like The people working there were very friendly and I’m happy I stayed there I am normally a Marriott person because the beds are comfortable but they just don’t care about us anymore and boy was I glad that I changed

I felt like the Hampton Inn was glad I was there even though I hadn’t stayed at a Hilton property in years Definitely going to use them again

Arriving early afternoon 6/30 after traveling 500+ miles we were welcomed by a friendly staff (sincerely) Jennifer finishing her day and Stephanie starting her shift I cannot tell you how drawn I was to the peace that Jennifer carried which gave her a beauty that isn’t achieved by makeup or wardrobe I cannot thank Hilton enough for such a short peaceful stay

As we have traveled 14k+ miles we stayed at less desirable places to save a few bucks It was not restful, we were very cautious as we moved about in our room; touching little as possible due to the conditions of the room The staff appearances were questionable Never again will we make such an decision We may have saved ourselves a few dollars but cost us a restless nightThis Hilton is very clean, staff very professional yet sincerely friendly We will definitely come back when we are in the area Thank you Hilton! God blessG Barnes~

We definitely picked this Hampton location vs others in Lexington based on price (including Marriott’s) of both room rate and pet feeComing north on I-75 and getting into town at 5:30p traffic was a nightmare and took a good 30 minutes from the interstateWe were greeted by a very nice young lady and check- in was fast

We found the same ancient and tiny room referenced by a previous guest For two people and a dog we were stepping all over each other in the 2 queen room, and it was a feat to close the bathroom door if you were actually in it – remodeling isn’t likely to fix that At first glance the room looked old but clean, but then the dog found stuff on the floor to try and eat, and going over surfaces (nightstand, bathroom counter, desk) with our Clorox wipes we found they had dried up stuff on them UghThere are pictures taped on the wall of the hallway of what may be future upgrades, but until that happens I would not return to or recommend this location There are 3 other hotels across the parking lot… pick one of those not the closet filled with furniture from your grandparents garage Sorry HI

Pros: Staff is super friendly The ground floor common areas were nice Coffee was hot – even during the evening hours

They offered complimentary snacks with check-inCons: The AC/Heat was too loud Made for a cold night’s sleep The hallways looked tired – specifically the carpet The chairs in the room were a little threadbare

There is no pool There is no mention of this on the website and we were not told at check-in A check-in that took 20 minutes

The beds are also extremely hard I asked to speak to the Manager because we only chose this hotel for the pool and was told someone would call and have yet to receive a call or even an apology I would recommend a hotel that cares about customer service
