Check in was fast, and the employees were very kind The hotel is located near several restaurants and a gas station and isn’t far from I-20 The hotel provided a pretty great breakfast, as well

The room (queen bed suite) was spacious and generally in good condition AC worked very well, bathroom was clean (and had plenty of towels), TV worked great, and the beds were comfortable However, some of the electrical outlets looked a bit dodgy Two above the desk had dirt or something around the outlet plates Another outlet near the couch was completely missing its plate

The check in process and lobby was impressive We arrived late and were really tired The key card worked seamlessly but once I walked through the threshold, it was not welcoming

The tile floor appeared clean but was slick The room smelled old and mildewy Hubby says the floor was damp under the A/C I wouldn’t walk on the carpet without my sneakers because the carpet looked old and stained I desperately wanted to lie down and rest my head so I covered my hair, tucked my pants in my socks and fell asleep The bathroom was very clean and I welcomed the shower (Rm 220) I’m including the room just in case this was an isolated incident I told my hubby we would spring for the Hilton in the future Clarion Hotels, we had a nice run Down from a 5 to a 2 in 20+ years

We booked through Booking and we were waiting exactly one hour for them to give us the room, at reception they told us that the problem is the computer, I think they should fix the computer because the accommodation is not free and they should also have a protocol for these cases help customers to get their room fast to not have this bad experience! and in the worst case the client should have compensation, conclusion if you come tired and book online keep in mind that this can happen to you!

3 StarsThe night manager was very helpful and kind Thank you for getting us checked in quicklyThe rooms are clean and well lit

Plenty of towels and toiletries to wash off the 6 hour road stinkThe beds were so good it turned my teenager into a diva AC worked great; crisp and cool 68 degrees all night Doors lock correctly and the surrounding area seems pretty safe Over all, it was a nice place to stop for the night1 StarToo bad not everything looks better in the morning in Vicksburg, The morning staff were rude and can’t make a proper cafe mocha If they talk, they talk to each other or just stare Not a single good morning or how was your stay Sorry for your bad luck and hating your job, but at least crack a smileIt was after 5:30 and all the lights in the bistro were off, the two “baristas” were talking in the kitchen, out of sight The hotel front desk had to have them come out and “address” me They didn’t talk to me, to each other only and acted like it was an inconvenience to them to make my coffee which was horribleI’ll stay again for the sleep and the night crew The ladies in the kitchen and the front desk need some help in hotel etiquette and manners

We stayed for one night on our way through This place is well managed, clean, and well maintained The bathrooms are large with big shower spaces

They seem to have groundsmen constantly grooming the place The people are kind and welcoming We used the pool It was clean and welcoming Not fancy, but great for a dip The only drawback was the location of the hook-ups They are at the back of the camping spots, That was a problem for us since we were towing a disabled vehicle that we could not disconnect We had enough extensions for power & water, but not sewer We ended up dumping on our way out, so not a huge deal The staff was willing to help in any way they could We will remember this place and come back on our next trip

This park is an older park but nice All staff members are very nice courteous and help when they could Our site did not have cable maintenance checked it out never did get cable

Come to find out our whole section was without cable Not sure if anywhere in the park had it But we didn’t go to the area to watch TV and had over the air channels All other amenities were working and clean The price was right too We will definitely go back when in the area

Benjamin Lawson (Boojies)

Staff was very polite and accommodating but the property could use a little TLC or a slight update You can tell things are starting to age and was slightly disappointed for the price they charge Pool and hot tub was nice and well maintained kids really enjoyed it

Breakfast was better than a standard continental but I have had better Overall good experience and great location for the park, just wish things were more updated

Pete R

This is a nice but aging hotel The check-in process and desk staff were excellent Unfortunately, our room was noisy, mostly from traffic during the night

If you stay here get a room in the back even if it costs more You can thank me for that advice later The room had a quiet AC and was clean but the bathroom and really the entire room was dated and had wear and tear My wife thought there was mold in the bathroom but I think it was just chipped paint The bed was comfortable with clean sheets and covers In the morning I noticed that anyone talking in the hall might as well have been in my room I could have easily joined housekeeping in their conversation about who was doing what So much for sleeping in The breakfast buffet was on par with similar hotels and had hot (not fresh cooked) and cold options I would stay here again if I could get a room in the back, but not without looking for a better option first

This location has excellent front desk service Very welcoming and friendly Our check in was easy, our kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good

Unfortunately our room was a bit gross The carpet was very dirty – stains and food particles were stuck to the carpet, and there was smelly food left in the fridge We only needed to stay one night and it was late when we realized there was food left in the fridge, so we didn’t complain or ask to be moved We just went to bed and made extra sure that our kids avoided stepping on the carpet barefoot The hotel overall was decent but it really needs an update badly I’ve included a picture of the chairs in the dining room Honestly, we would stay here again because the service and location is great for what we need when passing through, we’ll just speak up about the lack of cleanliness of the room next time Hopefully it won’t be an issue

The hotel itself was nice Every member of staff that we encountered was nice The rooms weren’t the nicest that I’ve ever been in, but they weren’t bad either

Really the only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because of the bed mattress As someone who has lower back and hip issues the mattress was very uncomfortable If I had one suggestion to make the place better it would be to invest in some better mattresses

Billy Mills

The check-in process was quick and easy When we arrived at our room, I noticed right away something was wrong with the air conditioner The room was over 90 degrees

The air coming out of the unit was not blowing as cold or as fast as it should have been We immediately went back to the front desk to request another room Rather than taking my word for it and just giving us another room, the employee made us wait there while she went up to the room to “investigate” She eventually returned to inform us that the air conditioner actually WAS working properly, and we just needed to give it “ten minutes” So I yielded and took my children back to eat dinner in the 90+ degree hotel room We gave it about 45 minutes, and it still wasn’t getting any cooler So I returned to the front desk, now covered in sweat, and again requested another room This time, she did get us into a different room When we got to the room that we would be sleeping in that night, we were surprised to discover it was a smoking room, which smelled pretty badly (thanks a lot) We had specifically requested a non-smoking room But the air conditioner was working, and we were exhausted, so we just gave up and went to sleepIf you’re looking for a comfortable place to come off the road and get some rest, look elsewhere It is also under major construction, and you can’t come in the front door

Great location, clean park, quiet when we were there but it was practically empty and paved sites Some of the sites are pretty sloped for paved sites and some have decent sized trees (we always request tree free because of our slides and awnings) and there is a pretty steep hill down into the park But the staff is very friendly! We would definitely stay here again

David Wilson

My family arrived on Saturday evening and got all hooked up After about 30 minutes we lost power We couldn’t figure it out

The sure protector said we were good We couldn’t find anyone to help and we ended up staying at a hotel and it cost us over $200 for the room The next day we had a service truck meet us at the camper and after doing some diagnostics he found out that the pole was only putting out half of the power He told the campground people about it and later after grabbing our stuff from the hotel I came back to load up the camper again and I stopped by the office They said they had spoke to the service truck and that they would address the issue They did not volunteer to refund me and I did not ask The only thing I asked for is to be comped one night on our way back from the trip They said they had my information and that they would put me down We did stay the following weekend and had no issues We discover this week that they actually charged us for the second night as well I called and left a message regarding this but nobody called back so I am leaving this review

Donna Dumesnil

Staff at the front desk was nice over the phone, even though the connection quality was poor The park and its Condition is what is causing the low rating, if not for the front desk staff it would have only gotten 1 star, 0 if Google would allow it The park has trees that scrap down the side of your rig, is not too big right friendly, and the sites are very narrow and extremely unlevel
