Hotel quite quiet and not far from the airport for a traveler in transit Clean, indoor pool, gym I had a great view of a golf course

Breakfast included in the price of the room, not diversified enough but enough to be satisfied Shuttle available on request both on arrival and on return Very courteous and helpful staff I had a pretty good time On arrival also a list of restaurants in the area is offered If you are passing through Miami and you want a hotel not far from the airport, you can choose this Best Western Plus, you will not regret it

Persistent Dreams

Nice hotel located about ten minutes from the airport terminals They have a free shuttle to and from the airport that runs from 4:00 AM to midnight so that’s a definite plus They even took us back just to have our COVID tests done and picked us again

The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed large and comfortable, and everything worked Water pressure is excellent; love the new rainfall shower heads It even included a small refrigerator and microwave along with the coffee maker The buffet breakfast included in the room price was decent and plentiful and it also starts at 6:30 AM, which is a plus if you have an early day There is a small indoor pool, but we never got a chance to use it and a business center where you can print boarding passes and other documents Would stay here again

Good – It was close to the airtport and the room was clean and what we expected There was good wifi and the free breakfast was really quite good Front desk staff was pleasant and we were able to extend our stay another night when we needed to at the last minute

Bad – The hotel pictures are a brighter than reality, although technically it looks like that Amazing what some lighting can do The room smells a bit old/ musty We had to wait for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel for 40-45 minutes (when it was only supposed to 15-20) The driver forgot to pick us up 🙁 There are a couple of places to eat that you can walk to, but not a lot

I had a 12 hour layover from Trinidad back to Vegas, and refused to sleep in the airport So, I decided to book this hotelIt’s appropriately a 7 minute drive from the airport

The hotel is very much modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable! They serve free breakfast from 7-9 if you book directly from the hotels website In addition to free coffee from around 6am I didn’t have the opportunity to taste any of it, because I left early for my 830am flightChecking in was smooth They hold a $30 on your card for incidentalsWhen I read previous reviews, people wrote that it was so noisy, because it was near the airport I only heard two ” loud” planes Nothing major, and I only heard it because I was up doing work on my computer It’s amazing the differences in people’s perception That’s why you have to experience it yourselfThey have a microwave, and refrigerator in the room, and microwavable food downstairs in the lobby They also have snacks and ice cream for purchase The front desk representative told me there was a Latino restaurant about a block awayLoved my stay , and I would definitely be returning, if I have another long layoverOne minor thing, they don’t have the free shuttle service, and it wasn’t listed on my reservation I waited for it like 15 minutes from the airport, then I called, and that’s when they informed me The service has been suspended since the beginning of the pandemicMy uber ride at 930pm to the hotel was $11:72 To the airport around 6:00 am was $7:51 So, it’s not expensive at allAgain, great location and stay

She was so friendly so accommodating genuinely wanted to make sure that we had a great stay she is the best!

Erin Chen

Pretty good airport holiday inn Friendly staff, easy check in We booked king but called to changed to two beds and was confirmed the changing room type, however, it was still a king when we arrived

The front desk was super nice offer us extra beddings for our kids, one ended up on the couch, one on the floor They are kids, happy to sleep in camping style Room is nice and comfy, all amenities are there Nice breakfast in the morning Cant beat the location for airport and cruise port Will be back

We have had a wonderful stay here Everyone has been so nice and helpfulI want to especially thank Angie for taking such great care of us

I told her about my love of Cuban Coffee and she made me some that day And then the next morning, while making my plate at the breakfast buffet, she brought me a freshly made Cuban Coffee She was truly a wonderful person Thank you so much She really made our stay

Katie McDonald

The woman that checked us in was great! Best part of the stay The evening clerk was exceptionally rude and seemed put out by the guests I saw walk to the desk Our room really want clean either

Styrofoam pieces in multiple places and the previous guests water bottles The sheets are very itchy and don’t fit the bed very well Door dash can not seem to find this place for deliveries either, it was a major headache It just isn’t somewhere we would stay again

D Rich

One night stay Located on the north side of MIA Two issues: (1) the elevator closest to the lobby was not in service and the secondary elevator was a long walk to get to it, so we had to use the stairs! (2) an alarm, possibly on airport property kept going off ALL NIGHT, so annoying! Would have been nice for a small discount due to both issues

The young man working the front desk when I arrived was very pleasant and engaging He did his job well and as the face of the hotel that evening, did the hotel justice by his pleasant demeanor

It was a decent place Nothing amazing, nothing terriblePros: big spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, and common areas are nice too

Staff was friendly and helpful Our flight got in early and they put us on a list to get our room ready faster and gave regular updates to us about itShuttle from the airport was very convenient and efficient!Pool area was nice If you don’t mind planes every 2 minutes overheadCons: rooms and facilities definitely need a repainting Lots of stuff marks and whatnot, same with bathroomsThe area the hotel is in is very industrial and there is nothing to go eat within walking distanceNot rated: food or barOverall, we would stay here again depending on the price at the time When we booked, the room was almost 200$ cheaper than it is at the time of our stay If we did not book earlier, we would certainly not stay for the current going price

Marissa L

Please I wish I could leave no starsI really had high expectations for this hotel

The pictures looked nice and the rates were decent Against my better judgment, I didn’t read any reviews for the property First, the area around the property immediately screamed “ghetto” The chairs in the lobby are so dirty, stained, and obviously need to be replaced My room had trash left from previous guests The shower (actually the entire bathroom) was absolutely disgusting There was Hair and stains everywhere The light switches were also stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years I honestly felt gross my entire stay I do not recommend this hotel at all The only good thing was that our room was close to the elevator so we could leave Ruined my trip for sure

Kelvinia Munnings

I enjoyed my stay here My stay was for 3 nights I gave it 4 stars because the restaurant was overpriced(IMO) and the ac wasn’t blowing hard enough

Was a little warm in room until the last night of my stay But everything else was great Staff was amazing Our shuttle driver was very nice There was a yoga setup in the room, which I thought was cool My family and I enjoyed the pool The hotel was very clean Not much within walking distance but if you’re driving, stores and other places aren’t far to get to Will be back again

We recently stayed here for two nights This hotel was clean, the room was great, 2 Queen Beds, and a Sofa Bed(we did not need) The linens and beds were very comfortable

The Breakfast in the morning was hot and fresh Plenty of items to chose from The Manager Jesus, on staff was so professional and helpful in many ways He gave us some great tips on Restaurants in the areas we had planed on visiting and answered many questions for us For a young man he will go far in this business or in anything direction he chooses I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Kelsea Mills

I was skeptical due to the reviews but honestly This hotel was amazing Super clean, they allowed us to check in early We called in advance & they put our name on the waiting list to prioritize having our room cleaned for early check in

Beds were comfy! Pools were cold but didn’t expect much more due to the weather lol The morning breakfast was so good! The staff was friendly & they greet you at the door when you walk in This hotel was definitely a win & we will definitely be back!

john pfluger

Looks like all was pretty recently remodeled, but they missed desk chair fabric, bench fabric in breakfast area

strange, as good as everything else looked Also, staff could have been much more helpful with persistent room key/card not working Upon check in 5 visits to lobby before sending maintenance to unlock with master key No rooms left to switch us to so asked to have front desk dispatch maintenance to let us in each time we re enter after leaving? Definitely a pain

And the hotel does supply a big laundry basket as wellWould book here again

I am a retired airline pilot that still works training pilots After 30 plus years of living out of a suitcase and countless hotel layovers, I can say based on experience the difference between poor, fair, and excellent service!I can also pretty much evaluate the same when it comes to the hotel staffThis brings me to comment on Candlewood Suites Miami which I have been staying at, various times, in the past year

The hotel offers very good rooms with most amenities one would expect However this cannot compare to the absolute concerns and care of most of the staff! My most favorable comments belong to Mr Dean FehdiDean always goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be!Dean is a very dedicated individual and if you have a business need of a hotel I can say you will not be disappointed!

We love this place Great location for those early flights Pool is a hit with the kids, often quite busy however

Clean modern rooms with lots of space and good wifi! Pet fees range from $75-150 (seems high for the location) La Quinta is right next door with cheaper fees if your looking to save Lastly you’re going to hear airplanes all day and into the night Not a complaint but a reality of the location

wilbert negron

Pros – friendly staff, clean rooms, close to airport, decent breakfast, ample roomsCons – no shuttle bus to airport, no room serviceOverall, it’s a great hotel for a great price It is an airport hotel so if you will hear airplanes every so often (Not a bother to me) I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone

Tom Hegewald

The worst Hyatt I’ve ever stayed in For over 220$ a night we got a room for disabled people which had a super gross shower that didn’t work It was not 100% clean and it’s unbelievably loud from outside

We had another hotel here on the airport before which didn’t have any noise from outside The room had two separate small beds instead of a bed for a couple which is unbelievable for this price and It also ruined our last day of vacation here The breakfast is even worst because it’s served on small plastic plates which plastic cutlery… Do your self a favor and don’t book this hotel!

Great friendly staff and centric hotel near to airport and downtown Miami High ceilings and modern decoration with some rustic cement exposed makes the look unique Beautiful bathrooms

It even has a free pool table at the lobby Just love it! Recommended for business of vacations For my photography interest, this is a perfect spot to move around Miami Here for business, but enjoying very much the stay

Rachel Rowan

I travel weekly for work and it’s really disappointing when they say the bar is open with pizza and wings and then the bartender would rather be on his phone then make wings I went to the market to get a frozen burrito and what I assume was the manager said he didn’t have the oven on but then said she would make me wings So the oven was on? I don’t get it

He said they ran out last night… so unprofessional You are there to work and you are getting paid I truly don’t ask for much but clearly at this location I interrupted their selfies at work Horrible experience The manager sends emails daily about feedback but do they really care? Rooms were industrial which made it loud and you could hear everything Little sleep Horrible management that “made it right” yet encouraged poor behavior of their staff Where’s accountability these days?? I’d rather you just tell me no food than all of that after an extremely long day Then she has the audacity to say “the wings are better than the frozen food right?” Well duh, that’s what I originally ordered So you deserve a compliment for doing your bartenders job? Extremely annoying Don’t care for a response from them just felt others need to know Choose wisely because some just think you travel and choose them like your money doesn’t matter

Michael Spencer

I enjoyed the stay The location was convenient (Close to Miami airport, restaurants, shopping, and about 30 minutes from South Beach by car)I would stay there again

My only complaint was that the shower door was poorly designed/installed The bathroom floor would get very wet after a shower

Very large and nice looking room, but when A/c was off room smelled of smoke, and bed was rock hard I slept well as I do anywhere but my wife had a rough couple of nights We did advise staff of smell and they were prepared to apply some kind of deodorizer but I told them it was fine as A/c was effective in removing it while we were there

All round staff was great with every encounter Was located conveniently close to where we were working

Christina Steier

The hotel was clean and modern The price was reasonable I was slight taken aback by the fact that nobody came in to clean the room between nights because I haven’t traveled in awhile but the party I met for work advised that this is the new norm which I’m ok with

My only suggestions would be to offer a restaurant and rethink the bathroom cabinetry First, there were dining options a short drive away and some basic snacks in the lobby Breakfast was offered and good, but a dinner option would have been nice since it was a work trip and I needed to attend to some business in the evening Finally, it would be best if the faux door fronts in the bathroom didn’t have handles on them They looked like doors which I attempted to open The decorative panel came down when I pulled on it and struck by bare toe It was painful and then mildly sore for a few days, but was an unnecessary injury Overall, the stay was good and comfortable

Aubrey Devine

Chose this Marriott property due to proximity for a business trip It was apparent from check-in that management doesn’t care about the property or customer experience Lobby items like grab & go areas were empty, only one elevator worked, mini fridge wouldn’t lower below room temp, shower items like shampoo and conditioner were not only empty but the canisters were removed entirely, and the linens and towels weren’t cleaned between guests

I found multiple types of hairs in towels and sheets Tried to make it work as I’d had a long day and an early morning Asked twice for a clean set of sheets to be sent to my room Both times sheets were too small I decided not to stay and went next door to Hampton Inn Front desk told me to call the manager tomorrow regarding billing Spoke to GM Fernando, who told me the room was 100% non-refundable even though I checked in 4 hours ago and was not staying the night Period I’ve never been so disappointed in Marriott, and will be removing this property from our corporate group booking option

The guy at the front counter very nice, however according to him he was the only on duty that night Our room AC was set on fan and I could not adjust/change the settings (room never got cold), the TV would NOT come on at all, we unplugged it and try a different outlet and it never came on, they did NOT have toiletries as they were completely out (front desk guy stated) and we was never offered to change rooms Will definitely NOT be staying there again

Charissa

No hot water in shower or sink, called front desk twice- no answer- went down to front desk no customers around Front desk lady was unhelpful, unfriendly and acknowledged they knew that there are numerous rooms that the hot water doesn’t work Refused to offer us any compensation for our troubles, wouldn’t switch rooms when I requested it, stating, “ I don’t know what other rooms don’t have hot water…” she stated that other customers are having hot water issues as well

So they are aware, yet, not offering compensation for their problems Hotel old and dated, photos look better than in person, very loud room…next to freeway and loud elevator, mold in shower on ceiling and walls Dark, poorly lit hallways and rooms need attention and updating Outdoor pool is freezing cold Workout room is lacking, only one machine functioned (when I tried all four)Front Staff unwelcoming and unfriendly Didn’t welcome me or acknowledge me as a reward points member- I had to ask at check out if I was given my points Not the greatest area, very far away from the airport & no hotel shuttle as advertised on their website For the price we paid, very poor value Would NOT recommend staying here Worst Holiday Inn property we’ve ever stayed at, we are frequent travelers I choose Holiday Inn properties for their reputation, this hotel doesn’t fit the Holiday Inn standards Find someplace else

shannon Conway

This hotel service is terrible Do not recommend staying here You should not put your diamond elite customers in the rooms that have no hot water

Then tell them oh sorry it’s something we can note, but there is nothing we can do Then when you ask for a hair dryer 3 times and you say ok no problem and it never comes I don’t usually post bad reviews but I do expect a hotel to make traveling for work suck less, not more I don’t think that’s asking too much

Listen, to these reviews they are not lying I wish I would have took my times , to read these reviews before booking with them First of all I have an encountered with one Spanish guy this guy has refused to accommodate my stay

Second red flags I don’t care if you are a guest or not we don’t care at all I called asking for some towels and wash cloth the receptionist didn’t even let me finish my sentence he said no I paid $400+ for my stay you mean you don’t have an extra person to assist the guest if they need something The red flag is there staffs doesn’t care about you as guests I will not book there anymore Please do yourself a favor book somewhere else People work way to hard for there money to be treated as such

3 night stay, had 2 issues with staff 1 Housekeeping staff came to knock on our door 30 minutes before noon (check out time at noon)

The staff did not speak English had hard a time understanding what I was advising her, that we are still packing and will be checking out in about 15-20 minutes This is still United States (Florida), am I the minority who speak English as a foreign language Hilton needs to do better for their guests and their staff, this interaction was an embarrassment for me not being able to communicate with hotel staff 2 The day we checked in, I had to get a ride to the airport, the driver for the hotel almost got into an traffic accident and scared two elderly couple, and tge drive made the excuse “that’s Miami” He was aggressive in driving us to the airport, even high speed turns, lane changes and cutting other vehicles off Be careful when you get in their vehicle going to and from the airport

Michael Meyer

airport shuttle was overcrowded at 1am, and instead of coming right back to pick ip the rest, they told us to wait another hour for the regular schedule, so we had to take a cab as far as the actual hotel, for $200 a night, you can do a lot better…update, the bed was cozy, continental breakfast was not free, theres worse places out there…

This hotel is the worst We stayed here for a few weeks due to our house not being ready to move in No safe in the room

We never allowed any one in just the cleaning crew a couple of times to change bed sheets and clean up Someone stole my husbands chain We alerted the staff and asked to have corporate call us We have yet to have anyone call We filed a police report but of course they don’t care because as to them it’s nothing We paid thousands of dollars and also paid this hotel a lot of money to stay there and make sure our belongings were safe Multiple times we had to go to the front desk because our keys weren’t working and now it makes us think if this was on purpose to get into our room My husband has had this chain for years and never lost it Also a coincidence that we went out on a Friday and that weekend and before we checked out the chain was gone! We have contacted an attorney and hopefully this is resolved ASAP!

Worst choice ever They had a horrible smell, they double booked rooms sowe went from a double bed to 1 bed So we called sonesta and they got us in that same morning Not only were they accommodating, they were so nice and let us check in early at 11 am We hadn’t slept at the other hotel (seaside) because of how horrible the mold smell was Sonesta smelled so fresh and so clean What a huge difference I’m so thankful and will try to use them on other trips in the future Went from a really bad hotel experience (seaside apartment hotel) to a great and everlasting experience (sonesta)

Wow! What a beautiful hotel It was very nice and clean Very modern and contemporary feel

The pool is amazing in the back The staff is so pleasant and will help you at all hours of the night The airport is minutes away, close to all gas stations and all amenities A special thank you to Juan the GM Excellent experience and my family and I will be back for sure!

The stay was good for the most part We were out most of the day so we basically just came back to the hotel to change or sleep The pool didn’t seem as clean as I would’ve expected and some of my friends felt that it was salty? We were missing a hair dryer, but that probably could’ve been fixed by going up front to ask for one

Free breakfast was nice The hotel is very close to the airport so that made our early flight out a lot easier With traffic, the beach/downtown areas were about 40 mins Oh and parking is $2000 PER night so definitely keep that in mind! Overall this hotel was good, and i would consider to stay here again

We’d stayed at an Element in Utah, and the experience there had me very excited to try the Element in Miami I can only conclude from other reviews that this hotel exists in two dimensions Unfortunately, we ended up in the darkest timeline

“OK“ is a generous review for the alternate dimension in which we ended up It was late at night when we arrived Even later than it should have been with the very late shuttle – it’s apparent now the other dimension gets the on-time shuttle The room layout was great, the bed semi-comfortable, and a local overpriced, under-whelming pizza joint delivered At 11 pm, that was important It was also the best part of our stay The first room we were given was dirty Towels stuffed into the rack behind the door, dirty counters, hair, and dust all over the floor dirty The hotel moved us ThankfullyThe second room was cleaner than the first but not much cleaner In the darkest timeline, the hotel looks old inside and out, and the staff is tired So very tired The pandemic has hit double hard in this alternate dimension I was scared we’d hit this dimension on our return stay, so I quickly changed my reservation to the Residence Inn, where we had a great stay To those considering a stay at this Element, may be odds be ever in your favor

Good:Off the Turnpike exitClean roomsStandard room is spacious

Quiet hotelBad:Not too many bad things, so I’ll say needs improvementBreakfast was kinda limited as far as continental breakfast goesOnly dark roast coffee?!? YuckNo hot chocolate Not even the single packetsDefinitely a work location (not near any attractions)Its lakeside, nice looking outsideDid not visit weight room or pool but they have both

Happy Girl

The room looked nice However, there were dozens of small black bugs by the sink and coffee machine We asked to move to another room

The second room on another floor had the same issue The third room we got moved to still had the bugs but less of them They were also at the front desk I’m dissatisfied with this location due to the bugs and now I don’t feel comfortable eating the breakfast there since there are bugs on that floor too Not a good experience

The hotel is a very nice place, the rooms are huge This is a pet friendly hotel they need to tell guests they are staying in a pet friendly floor or room

I had to ask if there were animals in the room as I am allergic to pet hair and dander I was wheezing and coughing the whole visit, I literally went through a whole inhaler I just feel they should notify guests or ask if they are ok staying in a room that has had animals stay

We traveled to Miami are for a wedding, I booked at The Stadium When we first pulled up I was a little worried As we usually stay at Marriott when we travel

This hotel is well kept, a little aged but has had many updates The staff was amazing and you can tell they take pride in their work Our room was clean and there are staff constantly cleaning wiping things down in common areas Continental breakfast was nice and fresh, Everything tasted really good They have staff continually monitoring the hotel and outside area which made me feel even more safe and comfortable for a first time trip to Miami Pool was nice and they have mini golf as well Would highly recommend for a stay and would definitely return for a stay

Perfect stay during the F1 weekend! Staff was next level and went above and beyond for race fans Race decor was over the top in the best way possible and made the experience so much more fun and enjoyable Walking distance to the stadium, the best provided breakfasts fuel long days, and a place to comfortably sleep despite thin walls

Everyone working from reception, housekeeping, security, grounds, and even staff helping serve breakfast actually looked and were approachable in the sense that they were having a good time and were happy to be there or at least did a great job appearing to be! Everyone came off genuine and so nice! Absolutely loved all the posters/flags and decor from the columns outside, the hanging driver cards from the ceilings to the decorated breakfast 9th floor decked out Overheard presumably managers speaking to staff on what channels to have the TVs on and making sure things were stocked and clean for fans The small details and attention for the guests/fans So much so fans were given a complimentary clear bag permitted in the stadium with sealed waters and other goodies Completely unwarranted and sweet! The Miami GP was okay, but this place made the stay and overall experience much better Almost didn’t want to leave the review afraid that this place will skyrocket for the next GP, but all their effort over the weekend deserves the recognition – I can’t say enough This place knocked it out of the park on the FIRST F1 event held here Do note that walking distance may not be for everyone especially in the heat There were shuttles available that didn’t come across worth needing

Very clean hotel The room were dating with some signs of aging but overall great We had a corner balcony and it delivered on the view

The resort kind of reminded me of a Disney All-Star minus the Mickey’s This one would be All-Star NFL has it is themed after the stadium located right in front Check in and check out were smooth Employees took care of our every requests Room service was not very efficient as we had to get our food order from the lobby but beside that hiccup, its a nice propertyThe breakfast is offered on the top floor with an amazing view It also offer an outside deck to have breakfast in the sunMy only downside and it is not one the hotel can fix, are the vehicles noise, it is very close to the highway and therefore you get the noise The streets around are also very busy which really doesn’t help The pool and mini-golf level are shielded from the noise and can be a tad more relaxing but on the balcony it was very loud at timesWe will be back as it is a great property I can’t imagine on game weekends, it must be crazy!

The customer service provided by Seth was above and beyond Our plane arrived late due to weather and another property gave our room away even though it was prepaid As a Hilton Honors Member we went to the nearest property, I briefly explained our situation and Seth was kind enough to accommodate he got us a room and early check-in and turned a really bad situation into a great day

The hotel is clean, friendly and convenient and breakfast is excellent I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and staff

I unfortunately stayed here for 10 days and it was one of the worst Hamptons I have been in My room wasn’t clean 1 time while I was there, I had to keep changing my garbage and taking my dirty towels to the cleaners in the hall to exchange and get new bags When I asked why my room wasn’t being cleaned they said they only have time to do the check-outs

The shower was peeling in the room along with the wallpaper, the carpets turned our socks from white to black, the freezer in the room did not freeze, the air-conditioner was so loud it would wake you up in the middle of the night, the “hot” breakfast was always cold, the pool was disgusting, half the dumbbells’ were missing from the fitness center and the TV’s didn’t work, when I asked for change for the laundry machine they didn’t have any and told me to go to the gas station and ask them The Shuttle driver was the nicest person from the airport and back and one cleaning lady kept apologizing to me for not having enough time to clean our room, but the rest of the staff didn’t wear masks and gave us dirty looks when we were leaving/ arriving So we tried to avoid the lobby area As a staff member at another Hilton property it was very disappointing to see how the standards at different locations vary so much I typically get a Hampton a very good rate, however because this was booked last minute they couldn’t offer any kind of deal and I ended up paying almost $400 a night after taxes and conversion rates (to Canadian dollars) which was completely absurd for the condition and experience we had This hotel should be inspected more frequently
