I loved everything about this inn, as well as it’s proprietors Mary Joy and Thomas They were so warm, caring, and attentive, and it was obvious that they wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stayThe house itself is beautiful, and located just a quick walk away from the cool downtown restaurants, cafes and breweries

I was there on business, but can definitely see myself going back for a long weekend to enjoy the inn and the townWord to the wise: don’t leave each morning before enjoying whatever meal Thomas and Mary Joy are preparing This place is a Bed and BREAKFAST The fresh fruit, the homemade scones, the eggs and baconthis isn’t the wimpy continental breakfast you get at a hotel This is a 4-star “I’m probably skipping lunch” breakfast, prepared by folks who clearly know what they’re doingI loved everything about my stay at the Market Street Inn, and would whole-heartedly recommend this experience to anyone I know 100% that I’ll be back, probably sooner rather than later

Mary Joy and Tom are incredible hosts My wife and I were in town for a long wedding weekend, and chose to stay at the Market Street Inn From the moment we arrived, the Lynch’s were accommodating, kind, and welcoming

Their breakfast is to die for, and they are intentional about making your experience a memorable one through their service and hospitalityThe house itself is beautiful Well-maintained, clean, quiet, comfortable Exactly what you’d expect from a couple who has dedicated themselves to their B&B craftMarket Street Inn is just a few blocks from the downtown area of Wooster which has some great restaurants, new-age drink spots and coffee shops Frankly, you wouldn’t expect a small town in the Midwest to boast all that Wooster has to offer Mary Joy and Tom know most of the small business owners in town, and were able to provide recommendations on where we should eat and spend our time Would absolutely recommend for a weekend getaway!

We stayed for a long weekend while attending Inkcarceration music festival The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, well kept We stayed in the “Lincoln” room, it was spacious and comfortable

super clean Rates were quite reasonable Mary Joy and Tom make you feel like you are a welcomed guest in their home The breakfast was phenomenal every morning Should we make a return trip, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

For what we paid, this hotel was excellent Clean, nice, and the continental breakfast was what I would have expected pre COVID Plus, being pet friendly was a great bonus since we were traveling with 2 dogs

It really was the little things, like that their clean up stations outside weee actually stocked with bags, unlike so many places I’ve been!

Joe

Very nice place and friendly staff Didn’t get the chance to check them out but they have a lot of onsite amenities which look easily enjoyable Literally only bad thing is they don’t have sat/premium cable

Basic local all you get I’m not much of a TV person so I got just a few channels I actually watch(which are premium channels through most providers)

Tracie Saunders

Beautiful, bright, and warm lobby The bar and breakfast area was neat and clean Our room was immaculate

Very roomy but the water pressure was very low and the tub didn’t drain very well We’d stand in about an inch of waterThey had a nice spread for breakfast There was eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, boiled eggs They provided juices, coffee, milk, and water and tea Unfortunately there was only 1 poor girl trying to keep everything full while also tending the desk It was busy in the breakfast area so the food kept needing refilled and we had to wait But she worked very hard! They were kind enough to let us keep our luggage there after checkout We had a basketball tournament nearby to attend and we had caught a ride with friends to it So they allowed us to store our luggage there We will definitely return and use this place again when we have to return to townOne last thing, their pool and exercise room are both open and clean!

5 Stars First time here We got the cabin

Staff was great! Very family friendly with lots of activities for the kids The other campers around us were respectful and friendly We will be back next yearUpdate : 6/9/22 – My favorite memory of the stay was experiencing the excitement and fun my kids had at Jellystone Swimming, ice cream, playing on the jumping pillow and exploring the creek

Kara S

Just stayed this past weekend Definitely plenty to do (jumping pillow, putt putt, disc golf, arcade, planned activities, hiking) Some of the items were just in need of some upkeep

The playgrounds are in bad shape and were not even commercial playground grade The putt putt needed some maintenance ( there were 9 holes but lots of the grass carpet was pulled up)They are putting a lot of work into the facility and I’m sure they will get to those items eventually as well They were getting ready to pour a huge patio that seems like it will be awesome The kids loves the foam party and jump pillow contestsThe sites are VERY close together So if you like space, this may not be the place for you There are some sites in the park that aren’t full hookup that have a bit more space It’s an overall very large park and they do rent golf cartsAlso, was not a fan of the pond being across the street and the golf cart path there was very slanted Made the kids get out before driving aroundMy family said they give it 7/10 stars We most likely will be back again, just not our top 3 parks for us

Amy Mathews

The best part about this place is the pool My family has always stayed here and since being taken over by Yogi Bear it has went way down hill Up keep on everything is so sad to see

This used to be our #1 vacation spot when family owned It was always so well maintained and beautiful but unfortunately it’s just not the case anymore They shld focus on the things they already have and maintain that instead of continuing to add stuff and to not maintain ANYTHING If you are looking for a place just for a pool then its 5 stars

Teresa and her team provide excellent customer service We have been using the hotel for many years for new employees in town to complete orientation Over the years our new employees staying there have consistently stated positive comments regarding cleanliness, bed comfort, customer service, and a great breakfast! Recently we have been utilizing the conference rooms for training sessions and the tremendous customer service continues – the rooms are always neat, clean, and set up with audio-visual equipment

Thank you Teresa and every one of your friendly team members!

Our son is finishing up his senior year at the College of Wooster, so over the past four years we stayed at this Best Western numerous times The staff has consistently been down-to-earth, personable, and helpful if we ever had an issue It’s nothing fancy, which is fine with us, and I suppose the decor could probably use an upgrade, but it’s quiet, clean and conveniently located in the downtown area

Our favorite restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and it’s fairly close to the college campus Once my son graduates, we won’t be coming back, so I wanted to pass on our appreciation to the hotel staff along with our recommendation to other future CoW parents

We were traveling to Wooster, OH, in April 2018 to visit The College of WoosterThe house itself is historic and a great experience, but the hosts and owners are exceptionally welcoming and helpful and this was also the case with the other guests that we met during our stayThe breakfast spread was amazing and I cannot imagine anyone ever leaving breakfast hungry

They also took into consideration that our daughter is vegetarian and ensured that she had some great options for breakfastIt is a nice little town with a number of very good dinner options and the owners are knowledgeable and happy to help make recommendations

Ellen Donaldson

I had the pleasure of staying at the Gasche House Bed & Breakfast while in Wooster for a high-school reunion — what a wonderful experience! It is charming, elegant and well appointed, with the most delightful owners, Bill and Genevieve! I might plan another trip back to Wooster just to stay at the Gasche House and chat with Bill and Genevieve!

Craig Tawney

I reserved several sites at Meadow Lake Park and a group of 36 people attended The Management of this park was wonderful They were so nice and made sure all of our needs were met

The park was beautiful and very clean This is the 5th year I have organized this outing and every year the people had some complaints about the location I choose Everyone raved about what a good job I had done by finding this little piece of heaven We will be using this campground for our annual campout every year for now on I highly recommend!

Tracy Becker

We absolutely love this place! Quiet and seems all campers are respectful of each other The staff and owners have never been anything less than accommodating when we go for the weekend Very sweet people

It’s close to home and rates are very fair Rules don’t seem any different than most places, in fact a little more laid back then some It’s just a nice, small park to go camping for a weekend and enjoy the family time 😊
