Walls seem a bit thin Heard a lot of people coming and going between 10pm-1am in the hallway Also, could hear the television and conversations right next door loudly at 8am

Window coolers have a thermostat and go on and off all night during this heatwave Kind of funny as these were popular coolers in the 1960s Nice room and bathroom with microwave and a refrigerator and coffee maker Breakfast was adequate with a waffle maker, cereals, juices bread and coffee Although, help needs to do a much better job of watching food supplies Both days we ran out of coffee and had to ask multiple times for replacement coffee Wait, wait, wait Ran out of coffee, waffle batter, yogurt, milk and cereal bowls the first morning by 8:00am Two of those were never replenished an entire hour later when the kitchen closed Several of the visitors were unhappy about the lack of any attention to our needs at breakfast Overall, an okay property The noise from dogs barking in the hallways (pet friendly) was also a mild irritation Best assets were proximity to the nearby lake and nice rooms, beds and shower

Shawn Pickett

Room was clean and bathroom was very clean and nice At first I thought there was no closet but it was behind a giant full length mirror Our particular room was supposed to have 2 queen beds but only had one plus a fold out couch bed

Another small annoyance was there was no regular coffee packs in our room or coffee cups There was only decaf and regular thin plastic cups in the bathroom

Dianna Story

The place is dirty for starters Open pet policy means they don’t have any pet free rooms The toilet was broken in the ground and the smell of urine came strongly through the floor constantly

Surfaces were dirty The breakfast consisted of bread you had to toast yourself on a convection oven that was never plugged in, during a 3 night stay Eggs bland and overcooked Sausage links Waffles you have to make yourself and they were out of batter every time I went That’s it No other meat no gluten free options, cereal but only room temp water No cups other than small water cups It was so dirty Couldn’t eat there due to how dirty it was Disorganized and sloppy Multiple people complaining Terrible smelling carpets and unit was overwhelming My husband has an asthma attack, my son and i had allergic reactions to the heavy dog dander in the room It was so unpleasant They did nothing to rectify the situation They charged me for an extra 2 nights and didn’t return that money until 3 days post returning to my home state Then after I complained I reviewed email stating I was being refunded and that housekeeping came by and offered a new room And that we declined That infuriates me because it never happened This place was awful I would not stay here again if my life depended on it I stay in Texas sometimes 10 times a year and it’s my home state I received no refund as of yet, and I don’t expect I will I feel totally sad that this place looks and sounds great, especially the free breakfast but it turns out to be terrible Oh also the trash bin on the 3rd floor by the elevator was piled high with trash all three days No housekeeping was done on that floor And the elevator smelled of urine Just all around don’t go here

I’ve not had a better stay anywhere else, but home of course, since the four seasons 20 years ago Everything and everyone made a really good first impression, which is always a lasting one I would stay all week if I could

I would change only one thing, which is, if you pay cash for your room, they require a cash deposit of 100 So I felt forced to use my card I was forced to use my card and I wanted to use the cash that I set aside for that expense But thankfully, everything turned out without card “charge” issues I liked the laundry room being on the same floor also the best part was the free buffet style breakfast bar It was the perfect way to convey that “we appreciate- your – business” feeling It sets the tone where u can experience getting value for your money spent The food was good The eggs were perfectly scrambled They had sausage at the breakfast bar We made our own TEXAS shaped waffles and regular round waffles too They have bagels, pastries, and toast, bananas, fruit loops, raisin bran and frosted flakes cereal, 2% milk, whole milk, orange juice, cranberry juice, apple juice, and coffee The lady at the front desk was checking on everyone and nice and easy going, yet professional and we liked the lady who set the breakfast out because she helped us, made me think of my mom in a way, she helped me feel at ease as if I could relax and enjoy She made me more comfortable and put the “big welcome!!” In the morning

Modern hotel! Very nice Very pleasant front desk staff Beautiful lobby with several computer work stations

The room was exceptionally clean; nice carpet, very clean bathroom Lots of towels My wife critiqued everything including the refrigerator and window sill; they both were clean I will visit this location again! I rate this hotel a 5

The best in front desk service! We were in a tight situation and it was after a very long and tired day at the hospital I needed a room for a night or two and Frances made it happen She is amazing, very helpful

I was able to relax at the pool and take all the stress from the day Breakfast was so yummy, perfect to start the day I recommend this place so much!!

This is the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed at My room phone did not work and my toilet would not flush I called the front desk from my cell phone and was informed they would move me to a new room once one was clean

Two minutes after the call, someone beats on my door saying they’re “Maintenance” and here to fix my toilet I informed him I was already told by the front desk that I was being moved and he could gladly come fix toilet after my move is complete He then screams I can let him fix the toilet or leave because I’m not getting moved due to having no rooms This was completely contradictory to what I was told by Laura at the front desk I later find out that the maintenance man was also the head manager named Henry Please stay away from this property as they are rude, unprofessional, and clearly racist The night staff was great but the day time staff was the total opposite Don’t spend your money here

Dareyon gray-davison

the lady at the desk when checking in was on her phone playing a game the door was loud when we came in she heard us but i had to wait about a minute and then say hello can you help me! there was also a toddler being babysat both mornings when we were there she was a cute little kid but they mentioned they were babysitting while her mother slept? not sure what that was about but the hotel smelled so bad in the halls and in the room they were sold out so we could not move to another one, it was very loud and someone drumming in the wall next to us around 5am in the morning! i would not recommend this hotel unless you really need one and i wont be back!

huichin Lam

Watch out! I don’t feel safe ! I lost 2 vantage necklaces ! Just one hour after I checked out, I found I left 2 necklaces on the desk and called the reception, they couldn’t find them and very rude to hand up the phone while I was talking The facility is very old, mirrors door can’t close properly! The worst experience I ever had all over the world!

Room was dated, not clean, visible carpet stains, used soap and hair in shower, dead roach smashed on the side of the TV mantle Hot water and water pressure were minimal Many people in our party complained about it

Bed was comfortable but I was afraid to sleep in it If I wasn’t here for a family reunion and everyone wasn’t staying here I would definitely never choose this hotel Staff was nice and informed, breakfast was hot and the eating area seemed clean The location is the best thing about it I however do not recommend

Kamirra Logan

My mom wanted to give it 2 stars because she said it wasn’t the typical Hyatt place and the rooms needed to be renovated, but I’m giving it 3 stars because I’m not that picky I thought it was a nice stay especially with the discounted price we were given from hotelscom

The room was pretty spacious We had 2 queen beds and a little sitting area that had a couch and a desk The mini fridge appeared to be leaking and broken at first but it turns out that housekeeping turn it off after cleaning the room If this is the case for you there is a knob on the inside that you can turn to turn it back onThey serve breakfast in the mornings and the place is pet friendly (or dog friendly I should say I don’t know if other pets are allowed) Sure the rooms and maybe even the hallways could use some updating but if looks don’t bother you that much it’s not that bad

Kevin George

Decent hotel that serves hot breakfast The hallways and common areas were clean My room though, needed some updates

The door appeared water damaged The carpeting needed some cleaning The TV, for some reason, kept telling me that it was “temporarily unavailable” and wouldn’t show anything Staff was friendly and nice though and the room was pretty large

My church had an an event here and right from the time of the booking, they were attentive to our needs to ensure that our program was successful I do really appreciate the hotel staff especially Ms Linda and Mr Tommy Mr Tommy and his team were exceptionally helpful in getting the hall set up for us and providing all the extra stuff we needed

The rooms were clean and comfortable Thank you all…surely gonna be back!

Abril Goforth

One of the glasses in our room was not clean Like, no attempt had been made to clean it The light on the bathroom mirror will not light, so the bathroom is very dark

The rest of the room has poor lighting, as is true for most hotels Makes applying makeup a challenge But the rest of the room appears to be clean The bed is comfortable The location is easy to access from the highway and was good for our needs

Kalvin K

Room was nice and big You have to actually request maid service if you want one It was not automatic

Perhaps it’s a COVID thing nowadays It actually has a microwave but I didn’t see until the last day because it was black and pushed far back into the cabinet I needed one and called front desk but didn’t tell me there was actually one in the room, instead said to use the one down in the lobby Overall, a good hotel to stay at

The night clerk was so nice I was very impressed with the pool being handicap accessible The ramp was something I hadn’t seen before

Easy for me being disabled to actually get in the pool Day clerk wasn’t as friendly Was disappointed in the fact there wasn’t a tub, only a shower with a shower head that wasn’t as good as my $1799 head at home Nice breakfast

Jeana Arnold

This hotel was disappointing, which is a shame as I’ve always had good luck with this brand Soap dish was ripped off the wall, toilet paper holder was broken (When we told the front desk, their response was “we know” but no one mentioned it when we checked in)

Elevator was very close to our room and I underestimated other peoples ability to be courteous and quiet in the hallways The elevator smelled of burnt rubber A dog was barking randomly for several hours one evening On a positive note, we had hot water and plenty of nice towels According to some of the reviews, that is something to be grateful for

Laura Chapoy

1st stay cation, due to a water leak at home Fairly new hotel in Wylie Since we are a Wyndham Rewards member, and Wyndham Margaritaville owner, I expect a lot

Rooms are spacious, nice decor, beds good, plenty of pillows, air is cold, and has a microwave, and mini-fridge This hotel is pet friendly tooIn our room, carpet square torn, and shower had mold on caulking at the bottom Hallway outside of the elevator door is stained A great hotel to stay But, cleaning the stains, repair of carpet, and recaulking the shower would not take much $20 per day pet deposit helps offset the cost, and if done routinely

Rooms were extremely spacious and clean The bed was stupidly soft and comfortable We got the junior suite and it comfortably slept two adults and two kids

The window in the living room was one entire wall top to bottom The same in the bedroom The bar tenders were so sweet and very friendly at the bar downstairs Staff was nice as well the the indoor pool, which was a very nice size as well as the hot tub

Vanessa Stringer

Loved every minute of our stay Great staff, especially at the bar 😆 Everyone was so friendly and accommodating We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was clean and quiet

Pet friendly (although we didn’t take ours), close to shopping/entertainment/restaurants Indoor pool amd jacuzzi were clean and perfect since it started raining! We’ll definitely be staying here again A+++

Melissa Mick

Very nice hotel The lobby is clean, and the front desk staff are very polite My kids love the pool here

The hot tub is nice for relaxing Another plus is the work out room! State of the art machines and very clean Starbucks in the lobby was VERY convenient! We had a very nice stay here, but the only downside is that due to covid they are severely understaffed, and you can no longer get your room cleaned or re-freshed daily When you pay $200 a night for a room, you kind of think having fresh towels and your bed made come with the package No, it does not I travel with kids, and we go through towels and need our trash taken out daily The trash was piled up down by the elevator in the morning It is a very clean hotel otherwise, and the staff is friendly, so I give a 3 star

Had a great stay over the weekend My only complaint is I wish they had complimentary breakfast the price to buy something frozen like a lean cuisine is very high

Almost forcing you to pay for the also extremely high rate for a basic continental breakfast or buy something of barelyhigher but of basic same value from their bistro which is at least prepared freshly This is a major flaw in the services offered by this hotel in my opinion

Not really a 4-star hotel More like a 3-star hotel with a pretty lobby/bar area Parking should have been covered or valeted for $14/day, but is just a self-park lot around the building

Firm mattress and weak air conditioning In-room TV was large but didn’t work very well The TV guide didn’t function and all the channels were labeled incorrectly It also had a hard time turning off Some noise from the DART train Toilet paper was thinner than my dreams of being a pro athlete Elevators are pretty run down too Good deal for the $60 per night special rate we found, but mediocre for the $74 w/parking + tax and fees Good location for our trip that had drives to Plano, Dallas and Addison, but probably wouldn’t book again Most staff and guests didn’t wear masks

After being on the road for 7 hours straight, found out my children which are in Mexico were not able to board their flight With that said I had to spend the weekend in Dallas, TX I was tired and was scared to not find a clean and reasonable hotel

I stopped at one of the Hilton locations and called the reservation line from out in the parking lot The young man that answered the phone was so helpful, kind, and pleasant to speak to He demonstrated empathy towards my situation He was able to work with my budget and helped me with a reservation at the Hilton Richardson location were I was able to get a room for the weekend at the budget I had in mindIf I could rate my stay at the Hilton Richardson location any higher I would definitely do so I knew from the moment I walked in my money was well spent When entering their facility you can definitely see it is clean, pleasant and their employees are just amazingThis facility had a computer available for me to be able to work on my college classes, and the lady upfront was able to assist me in extending my check out at 1pm (instead of 11AM) with no additional fee since my kids will be flying into Dallas Airport late evening She also informed me that I am able to stay in the lobby for however long I need to after I check out Which is really helpful since I would have to find where to kill time since the weather does not permit to be in my vehicle for long period of timesMy experience has been overall satisfactory, and know for sure moving forward, Hilton will be my place to stay at

Stephanie Teague

Staff was nice but overall this hotel is poorly run Rooms weren’t ready at 3:00 check-in because they were still being cleaned Many of the rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke, AC inside the rooms was broken all weekend and elevator wait times were way too long

The AC worked in common areas of the hotel and aside from cigarette smell in many of the rooms the rest of the hotel appeared well maintained and fairly clean While I won’t be returning to this hotel, most of these issues can be easily fixed so hopefully hotel management will step up to ensure future guests have a much better experience than we did

I had my family from Mexico City stay at this hotel Well the experience was terrible!!! Room was dirty and drawers were broke When I brought it to the attention to the lady at the front she stated WOW you would put your clothes in the drawer???? My family was behind me so I did not respond how I should have! I said lady I stay at hotels all over the world and yes I use the drawers to put my clothes!!! What a response !!! Her attitude was unprofessional and rude, and I saw her interactions with other people like that! At night I spoke with Cori and informed her of my situation! She was amazing! Night and day difference! She was apologetic and understanding, told me to contact the manager Mr

Love I spoke with Mr Love and he was professional and apologetic! But his solutions were not reasonable, since the stay was booked through Expedia he could not refund anything Free credit to stay or vouchers, well I live here and those will not work and I will never stay or recommend this hotel! He stated he will speak with the owners and send me a partial refund via check One week has gone by and nothing I will call Mr Love On Tuesday July 5th and I will escalate to the news or whomever I need to as the owners does not seem to care Well Once I post all the pictures I took of how dirty the room was they will be obligated to do something ! I will call the health inspectors etc! How I was treated should not be tolerated! I will update as soon as I receive news Pictures will be posted today as well

The entire building smelled like mildew There was no escaping it It was in the lobby, the hallways, the room

It was miserable I was visiting and was afraid this is just how it was in TX We stayed one miserable night, then moved to Super8 It was less classy, but the air and building were clean and the management was wonderful Something is very wrong at the La Quinta Our trip was in Oct 2021

Eulaine Mcintosh

This is our 2nd stay at this particular La Quinta Our room, the lobby and public areas are clean and fresh like new However some of the Amenities were lacking

The business center printer would not print, the volume of the fitness center TV didn’t work and treadmill wouldn’t start These may seem like minor things, but these amenities determine our choosing the hotel The owner of the hotel needs to make sure these things are in order as advertised

We recently stayed and let me tell you Amazing from walking into the building you could smell the clean! We are a family of 5 and rooms are very nice and spacious EVERYONE had a place to sleep Rooms VERY clean Bed comfy especially the sheets 💗 pillows a little to flat for me, but I double mine up and slept like a baby

The rooms and hotel very nice and cold! We are a baseball family and I needed to do some laundry and loved that they had a laundry room on the property The pool…salt water pool! We also grilled burgers out in the patio area very nice! Breakfast crew always made sure everything was refilled and there was plenty for everyone The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating! I’m not sure of her title with the company, Ms Christmas was a boss to me anything I needed she took charge to help me and always made sure we were good We stayed a total of 3 nights and would definitely recommend this hotel

Stayed at this hotel last weekend I’m giving it 2 stars because it was not terrible but let me tell you, it was not great either First off there was some sort of high school basketball game so the hotel was booked with large groups of teenagers who were running and screaming in the hall, well past 10pm

(I actually needed to go to bed at 9 so I could get up at 5 the next day) I went down to the reception desk and the gentleman there was actually very empathetic when I asked to be moved to another room because of the noise I had to be moved twice though, which took 45 minutes of going to the desk, and shuffling my stuff from room to room I asked if this happens a lot, and he said “yeah when they have a game, I move people a lot, but normally they quiet down by 11 Well 11pm is great if you don’t have to get up early No efforts were made to keep the them quieted down No one talked to the coaches, basically the noise was pushed off as my problem to deal with instead of dealing with the source There was also a pretty large gap underneath the room doors which let in a lot of noise Some hotels have a double door set up, to keep noise out, this hotel does not On another random note, the water in the showers doesn’t really get all that hot I also called back a few days later to ask why my $50 deposit hadn’t been returned and the woman who answered the phone was really pretty rude She didn’t even say “You’re welcome” when I said “Thank you”The good was though that the first receptionist was kind and empathetic, and also the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and provided some basic soap and a makeup remover towelette Breakfast was basic but good, and the omelets tasted freshWhen you stay at a hotel for travelling a good night’s sleep is really the most important thing you can offer your guests I would recommend that his hotel take some actions to rein in the noise levels at night (and yes 11pm is too late) Talk to the coaches or parents, or maybe book them all on the same 2 floors and put other guests on the other floors Something can be done!

Although the room was clean, the manager was rude and unhelpful I called to get a price for a room and asked if the pool was open and working and was told they were booked When I asked about booking it online (since it showed availability) I was cut off and told they were fully booked

This was one of the only hotels with an indoor pool and we were looking forward to letting our 3 year old burn off some energy since we had been in the car for 600 miles Upon check-in I asked if the pool was open again and was told yes We got in our suits and down to the pool to find no towels, not a big deal I went to the front desk to ask for some and had to wait for someone to greet me, it was the manager again She informed me they were out of pool towels but gave me some bathroom towels (never mentioning the pool condition) it was freezing!! My son was so disappointed 😞 We went back to the room (he almost slipped just outside the pool area since there wasn’t any carpet) and I called the front desk The manager then informed me that the heater was broken I tried to explain that would have been nice to know prior to getting my son’s hopes up but again was cut off with a short apology I was frustrated with the lack of willingness to help or even listen, the cold pool, and the cold breakfast the next morning After calling corporate, I was told they could give me some points to compensate but they would not be available until Monday (this was on Sat evening/Sun morning) When I informed them I was traveling and would be home on Monday and would not need the points, I was informed that’s all they could do I was highly disappointed and will not be returning to this or any Holiday Inn

We arrived prior to the 3 o’clock check in time but they said give them 30 minutes and they would have the room ready for us When we got check in and got to our room, it smelled like wet dog The front desk clerk apologized and got us checked in to another room

Our reservation was for 4 people, the room was stocked with 3 towels so we called down to the front desk to request more towels We never got a response so we had to go down and get more towels The front desk doesn’t have a bell or anything to notify the staff that someone is waiting so you are often waiting for a period of time for someone to comes greet youThe pool was frigid The kids swam but even just sitting watching was coldThe water pressure of the shower is horrible and the sink took forever to drain Brushing your teeth was a nightmareBreakfast was mediocre at best No make your own waffles or pancakes (we stayed Friday and Saturday) and both days the hot items were eggs and sausage One day links the other day pattiesThe front desk staff were pleasant but not very customer service oriented It seemed asking for something was putting them out Housekeeping staff were friendly but rooms could use a little more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning There were skittles and dental picks left in the room from a prior tenant (in window sill and behind trash can)

We are locals on an overnight trip Ethan checked us in He was very friendly and professional

He was able to accommodate my room upgrade request He set us up in a very nice suite, which had a balcony overlooking the courtyard The room had a very nice layout and was very clean We would have appreciated a different brand of toiler paper, because the one in our room was very coarse Not sure what brand it was The covered parking garage was conveniently located across the street from the property Unfortunately the dining facility on the property was not available to us the evening of 7/9/22 because it was closed We appreciated the many dining options within walking distance The property is centrally located to many shopping and dining areas We would certainly stay here again!

Pretty decent room Nice little balcony! Not as clean as I would have liked, and very uncomfortable bed! Nice views and restaurants near by Safe and clean parking lot well lit with plenty of spaces

Probably gets pretty crazy when there is an event If i stayed again I would request a room overlooking the courtyard rather than the street I’m sure it’s staffing related but they didn’t have breakfast the day I was there, which would have been fine if the very nice guy who checked me in hadn’t twice told me the hours and location of the breakfast I could expect All in all a fine place to stop, a little on the expensive side

This was place okay The beds were super stiff and the room was quite warm (March) I turned on the AC and the unit was EXTREMELY loud and make a clunking sound

I had to turn it off so we could get back to sleep I requested a room with a bathtub in the notes at booking and didn’t get one There was also 0 toilet paper in the room so we used KleenexLocation is superb if you want to have a few drinks after an event at the event center Beyond that, it’s nothing to write home about

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel It is conveniently located near many amenities The rooms are slightly small but I still enjoyed it

The like that the hotel didn’t have carpet in the rooms The breakfast was also enjoyable My one and only minor issue is that there isn’t a microwave in the rooms There is one downstairs but there isn’t any in the rooms My suggestion is to place microwaves in the rooms

The hotel was great and so was the staff The only two things that I didn’t like was the breakfast (I regularly stay at Best Western chain of hotels and they serve much better breakfast) and the location (nothing much can be done about it but there are no food joints in nearby areas) Their selection of body wash, shampoo and conditioner is one of the best that I have seen in budget hotels

Our flight was canceled and we had to rebook our trip for the next week The staff was great about rebooking our reservation for the following week Thank you! We arrived late, but check-in was easy

The hotel is right off the freeway, but we didn’t notice noise from our room We were visiting the UT Dallas campus and this hotel couldn’t be more convenient for that purpose The room set up is nice, but I didn’t like the glowing door when the bathroom light was on Breakfast was good We only stayed for 1 night, so I can’t speak to the variety of offerings

Barbara Sestak

Bed was really, really soft The beds were low to floor If you have a injury, bed is hard to get out of

The shower is located in the bathtub Everything very clean Had a wonderful breakfast, came with staying there at no charge Parking fills up fast, FAST! Important to make reservations Employees go out of their way to help Outdoor pool, inside gym and small refrigerator in room

The staff is very friendly The facility is always clean and quiet It is pet friendly as well!

This hotel is located across the street from a strip mall which made it perfect for easy dining and shopping for my overnight stay Overall the room was pretty good but the shower curtain did have dried on soap splashes from a previous guest Also you can hear kids screaming at the pool and stampeding down the halls during the day, which made it hard to relax after a long day of driving

There was also a dog barking that you could hear on the entire first floor, both inside and outside the establishment Overall the visit was good, once the sun went down

Doug Wadley

Nice hotel, bed was comfortable, might want to bring you own pillow Nice hotel in a quiet area No service for clean sheets or towels from what we were told per the Covid pandemic the rooms are cleaned before you arrive and if you need towels, trash bags, coffee etc you will need to go to the front desk

Will check back next time we go to Dallas
