I am very critical of places we stay as I inherently look to be wowed when choosing an establishment to spend both family time and money All I can say is “Well Done” to the management team and staff that made this visit to AZ memorable Beautiful, clean property

personable staffclean propertydid I mention clean??? While the property cannot do much in the way of home training for some of the visiting “adults” patrons that seem to lack it (basics – cover your nose/mouth when you sneeze/coughuse sanitizer after blowing your nose and before you touch coffee handles, stirrers, etc), everything they did do (that we noticed) was a direct representation of pride in their establishment and the overall customer experience We are looking forward to our next scheduled visit later this year Thank you all

JB

Beautiful property! I appreciated how well maintained the grounds and Villas were kept – that is very important to me Little details like having the hand sanitizers filled (even in the elevators) to keep the spreading of germs low as possible The rooms/villas including the nooks/crannies/corners and patios were immaculate – thank you Housekeeping! Even a family of coyotes enjoyed the relaxed property (on the golf course)

Continue to pay attention to the details Thank you!

Brody W

Everything about this place is top shelf We spent 8 nights here and can’t wait to go back again You e got access to the hotel property as well as this one, a shuttle runs between the two,we never made it that far though because we had so much fun at the pool here

Can’t wait to go back again next year!

I needed a place to relax and regenerate and found it here oh my so nice and just right The room that I got was great yes the place seems like it is from the early 2000’s or earlier but it fits the mountain side with the deep slopes is unique I really enjoyed my stay here

A small but fun water park, golf course, sap and salon Restaurant on the premises which you have to have a reservation or you could sit at the bar or tavern Didn’t get a chance to eat there because I wanted to be at a table so that will be at another time But overall this is a nice getaway Would return with no problem and would recommend it to all The place has some of the most incredible views that you will definitely enjoy

Jackie Fleenor

The pool areas were amazing, especially The Falls The grounds were beautiful and well cared for with lots of blooming flowers We had a private cabana (fridge, fan, misters, TV, couch) that kept us pretty cool in 114° heat when out of the pool

The Falls pools were full service The waitstaff were all great as were the drinks Our room (1 king, 1bdrm) was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was clean and well kept and right across from the family pool

Chad Bendel

Rooms are about what you’d expect for the price point Friendly overworked staff, they appear to be short staffed just like everyone else and they’re doing their best Great pools, decent food, poolside delivery so that’s cool

Fun relaxed atmosphere It is just far enough away from everything to feel like you’re on vacation away from home when you are still in the valley Would recommend to anybody looking for a quick weekend getaway either for a couple or for a whole family!

We’ve stayed here long-term for two Mayo trips and we really enjoy it The carpet in the rooms could be replaced, feels yucky, but the beds are comfortable The breakfast is excellent for a hotel buffet, we ate it every morning for two weeks and didn’t get tired of it

We really appreciate the healthy items like spinach, fresh melon There is a lovely nature trail around Mayo from this hotel You can go on beautiful nature walks, we saw so many animals

Cary Sontag

This is the best place to stay if you have a loved one who is at the Mayo Clinic Hospital The Hotel is actually located on the Mayo Clinic property about 300 yards from the hospital The suites are xlnt with a kitchen, bathroom, and a living room that extends into the bedroom area

2 people can sleep on the King size bed, and 2 can sleep on the sofa bed One I was there before the pandemic they would serve breakfast in the morning I am not sure if they still do that So if you are curious I suggest that you call them

Jason Edwards

So, I am a marriott gold member I typically like their properties and the staff is usually great But corporate policies are absurd

They boast about care and concern with the Mayo clinic campus and help and discounts But you can’t use credits earned while working away from your family and those caring discounts at the same time? That’s not right! You need to do better!

My friends and I had a great stay here! I don’t know the name of the woman that checked us in, but she was amazing! She gave us a list of restaurants in the area and added her specific recommendations, which were super helpful We love that you get warm cookies and water bottles at the front desk (and we were told we could grab more whenever we wanted)

such a treat- the cookies are so good! The pools (and hot tub) were great with pool towels readily available The parking is nice and convenient to wherever your room is located Our patio didn’t have an amazing view of anything, but it was still a nice thing to have in the room Beds were comfy and we all slept like babies The Starbucks in the hotel was a huge plus for the mornings We didn’t use the sports court/ golf/ restaurant/ fitness facilities during our stay We had a great time and were happy that we chose this hotel for our girls trip

J T

Super pet friendly resort! Perfect place to chill with your little furry friends Pretty mini resort It’s not a tall building style— kind of interesting

We visited during the Easter weekend and there were lack of staff for sure There was steam sauna at the gym but no staff were there and saunas weren’t working at all, which was quite disappointing Still enjoyed my stay overall and would recommend for pet friendly resort 🙂

K Hill

Great hotel! Rooms were updated and very comfortable A/C was very cold in August which was appreciated Staff was friendly

Bar got busy about 6:30pm but food came out quick and the boneless wings were very tasty Pool was fun and not crowded at all in the afternoon and at night on a Thursday Breakfast also came out fast and was tasty

Customer service at this hotel is top-notch! Art at the front desk is absolutely amazing He engages in conversation every time you see him and he genuinely cares about everyone coming and going from the hotel The front desk crew was extremely friendly and welcoming, from the moment we arrived

Been here once before (before the remodel) and I can say that the remodel really makes the place worth it Very nice, clean, and very responsive We called down to get some extra towels during our stay and they were at our door in under 5 minutes Great free breakfast as well, complete with eggs, meat, and potatoes Would recommend and will be staying here again if I am in town

Eric Tam

We stayed here for an event and this place hits all the right notes The parking can get a bit full but drive down and there’s more space underneath The staff here are friendly and and appreciative as they’ll go out of their way to make you feel welcomed

Rooms are clean, spacious and top notched They do only have one elevator and can take a few tries during busy hours The beds were a bit soft for my preference and the A/C unit worked well The in-room beverage fridge, coffee maker and additional sink was nice touchTheir morning breakfast was more than your typical continental breakfast they have slight variations of their hot plates and ample coffee and fruits for your taking

GB

I’ve stayed at Hampton properties for many years and this one stands out Every employee was extremely friendly Even the maintenance guy asked how my workout was when I was leaving the gym

Just unbelievable The property is very modern, super clean, and breakfast was delicious They only need to get in touch with Google to get their amenities fixed, as they don’t have laundry service

Only stayed one night Had a great experience Friendly service, clean room and very comfortable bed

Breakfast was a good selection of omlettes, breakfast sandwiches, make your own waffles, toast, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit All the items were individually wrapped was was niceThe hotel was pet friendly and I’d stay at this chain again

Mykeyia Johnson

Everything was great until I was woken up from bug bites at 2am in the morning My husband went to front desk to try and fixed the situation and it was basically blown over “It’s just bugs” by both worker and manager! We had to go above and beyond just to get into a new room to rest up for the rest of the night! Home2 has always been my favorite place to stay but this stay was not so great and definitely disappointed how it was handled

Basically told us nothing can be done and it’s just bugs! Only thing she could say was are you paying for the new room you were moved to as if it was our fault there were multiple bugs in our room! Picture and videos were provided of bugs and and bite marks! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HOW WE WERE JUST BLOWN OFF AS IF IT WAS NOTHING! I do not recommend! Poor management! Front desk worker thought video games were more important than helping us solve the problem before we were moved to a new room!

The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet The bed and pillows were comfortable Can’t give the rooms 5 stars because the shower head left a bit to be desired

I would stay here again I did not take advantage of many of the amenities like the pool, work out room, or laundry so I cannot give 5 stars without having knowledge of those areas The staff was very friendly and helpful

Walked away a good winner at blackjack, roulette, and craps… All three of those paid out well definitely above the oddsThey even have a little sports batI’m going back in two weeks, bringing my team so we can all have some fun

SAM Smart

I came here today to check out the new MGM sportsbook It is an awesome sports book and bar The decor is beautiful

The chairs are super comfortable The bar is huge with a very friendly staff There are TVs everywhere in betting stations galore It overlooks the casino so there is a great view This is a great place to watch a game because the vibe is very upbeat and the atmosphere is very relaxed

B amazed with this

So happy they had the restaurant back opened I love the fried fish dinner Too bad I had eaten before I wentI only won 10 bucks but at least I didn’t loose n enjoyed the games lots of free games

95% better than lone Butte that place got the machines so ridged that you can’t hardly get free games Extreme cash cow since the pandemic But anyway Wild Horse Pass isn’t like that it’s enjoyable for food n gambling I wonder if the public is allowed to walk on the trails they are very nice

Our stay at the W Scottsdale was a great first stay at a W Ethan Halvorson went above and beyond for us! We were celebrating our five year anniversary with a quick trip to Scottsdale I contacted him via email a few days prior to arrival to coordinate a surprise for my husband upon check in and to get some dinner recommendations

He replied promptly, was always courteous and helpful Ethan was a fabulous first interaction with a hotel brand and his hospitality driven attitude should be commended Thank you, Ethan for everything! The room was great, with a roomy layout, well appointed bathroom and great views of downtown Room service was speedy and always friendly Love the outlets in the floor on the sides of the bed (so much better than your typical hotel that has poorly placed outlets that don’t work for charging a device in bed while using it because they’re located far away – random thing but something I really appreciated that this hotel did)One thing to note, especially if this is your first stay at a W, is this is a hotel with an emphasis on night life and entertainment As we are in our bed at 10:30pm, the presence of loud music, bass and crowd noise is very apparent This was not a turn off as its part of what make the W a hotel that stands out from others but something for anyone booking to take into account if they are a light sleeper or prefer quieter evenings hoursPlease see my other reviews for The Cottontail Lounge and The Living Room (located in the W) for poor experiences at both those locations Keeping that separate from my rating of the W but given they are located in the same hotel, I feel it’s an important thing to note but a distinction to the respective businesses (Cottontail & Living Room) separate from the W Hotel aspect

Janette Blair

I had a wonderful time here and a great experience Tyler was SO great during check-in and really made the whole process go smoothly, even when I had technical difficulties getting into my room at first I also want to thank Autumn at the Welcome Office for having the amenities ready in the room before I arrived

It really was a treat for me and my guests, so I very much appreciated thatThis hotel has a great youthful vibe inside and it really feels like you’re stepping out of Scottsdale into Las Vegas with the loud music and mood lighting ambiance I’m pretty sure half the people I encountered upon entering were already pretty buzzed on a Saturday afternoon which was actually funny The rooms are sufficient space for relaxing, and ours faced the pool which has more view/sound access (especially because the door to the room slides open) – there is no patio but you can lean over and check things out It had an amazing sunset view as well The glass shower and glass toilet stall were kind of weird because they had great acoustics but I don’t really like the idea of the toilet echoing – and the shower had a weird image of a chick with a camera in the window but it was eclectic and kind of funnyThe band performing on Saturday night, Steve Ayotte Music, was fun to watch and they actually played great music/did fun covers Sydney the bartender in the downstairs lobby area was also super nice!Overall, I’d definitely characterize this as a lively party hotel and it really made my first stay in Arizona a good one, I would definitely return and stay at this hotel!

Kasey O’Grady

The hotel room was amazing in my opinion Great views and definitely a 4 star hotel room The wet deck was fun if your into chatting with people and more into the pool party scene

However the valet parking charged me $35 for $25 parking which I didn’t authorize such a tip The person checking me out even explained to me why it was $25 for parking over the timeframe I was there because I was told when I valet my car it was $17 Meaning to emphasize it was unauthorized what was charged I find it incredibly odd that such a nice hotel would allow scammers to be cashing out people for valet parking This happened to me and my friend who checked out one after the other for $25 valet parking Get better staff in valet parking who won’t take advantage of tipping cards without authorization A receipt wasn’t provided for the valet parking either maybe as a way to get by on the situation I wouldn’t use their valet parking again and that’s the only way to park there they don’t have a parking garage for hotel guestsHotel 4/5Valet 1/5

By the looks and location a little concern but let me tell you this place is amazing I have stayed there multiple times and have always received excellent customer service That is one thing you cannot say very often

The rooms inside are super clean even though outside gives a different vibe they are beautiful inside They offer so many different amenities They have complimentary beverages and snacks They treat you like a real guest Me and my husband were here when we want to relax and let her hair down Big thanks to all those there that I’ve always made our stay great

AngelsFan70

Overall not the best place but also not the worst The shower faucet broke off while I was trying to take a shower Just decided to clean myself with the water running with no shower

Room had a little bit of an old musty smell Towel in the bathroom was really rough and had a weird brown stain on it AC took a while to get the room cool, but it did do the job overall The style of the place is really upbeat and cool Lots of cool artwork and color around The rooms were really quiet and the bed and pillows were really soft and comfy

Ed Dressel

Definitely NOT a four-star as advertised The room was dark with one small window, the faucet in the bathroom leaked and was difficult to use When we went to eat outside the heater next to our table was broken and unusable

Yes, we did have a cannabis-free room, however, this did not mean we could not smell it during our stay–pleasant perhaps for some, just not for us On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, eager to oblige Also, the food at the restaurant was good and the ambiance lovely

This is a gorgeous hotel But it is quite a hike to the airport – so be prepared! You can expect huge Saguaro cacti around, pristine landscaping and beautiful lobby and pool area on the grounds It’s impressive and reminds me of a resort

I loved this location – it’s about 25-30 minutes to downtown Scottsdale for dinner or anything but it is close to loads of excellent hiking and has access and trails from the resort to hike the famous Pinnacle Peak It’s a quiet feel away from the city but with a few restaurants and other spaces about 10-15 minutes away so you can leave for a dinner nearby without having to drive into the city and find parking if you’d like pretty easilyWe also did a few other hikes while here including Tom’s Thumb at McDowell Regional Park which was gorgeous at sunset and only about 10-15 minutes drive from the hotelBreakfast was included in our package (girl’s hiking trip weekend) and we loved it – we sat outside by the pool and enjoyed the healthy menu and soy lattes to get our day startedStaff were wonderful and our room was gorgeous and comfy with a large bathroom and welcome amenities and a note from management We did have a small issue with the toilet while staying which was promptly dealt with within a few minutes of complaintOverall, would happily stay here again, my friend and I had a great time here for a few days

Jennifer Karim

Beautiful experience! I am so in love with the desert and this resort is just what I wanted I really wanted something that felt remote and was quiet and offered a desert vibe, which it does The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms were so comfortable

The staff are phenomenal and unbelievably kind and helpful I was happy to see how diverse the staff were as I absolutely appreciate inclusion in the corporate world Would absolutely recommend

Craig Davison

If there’s a heaven, I’m pretty sure they’d hire the Four Seasons Scottsdale to manage it Absolute perfection Serene and quiet with only the sounds of desert birds to be heard

The landscaping is a wonder of desert beauty Great gym and pool The concierge booked us a couple of awesome adventures (REI Mountain Bike tour and Stellar ATV tour) Bed and pillows were delightful You’ll be stunned every time you walk the grounds at the views Fantastic pool and hot tub And brilliant star filled skies at night But it couldn’t qualify for perfection if not for the gracious, hard working, professional, and customer obsessed staff They are an incredible team of people rushing to meet your every request Thank you Four Seasons Scottsdale!!

When I booked the room I spoke to a woman who told me I could have a later check out with possibly 1/2 charge My flight was leaving late and my conference ended at 1pm When I requested the late check out the man at desk said I would have to check out by 1pm

I ended up paying for an additional day and leaving without spending the night We were given a handicap room and 1/2 the plugs didn’t work Staff was nice Location was good

Ramon Morato

I rented a 2 queen size bed room Service was friendly as usual Unfortunately, the room was not up to par

It was clean but the bathroom was not There was a huge crack in the wall of shower stall that looked awful There was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower either There were very few towels also This is lack of attention to detail by the housekeeping crew and supervisor When you pay $200 for a room, you expect it to be pristine and have everything in order I’ve been a gold member of Holiday Inn for a long time and I’m very disappointed with this room Will have to go to Hampton Inn next time

When I stayed at this property they had the most amazing beds and pillows! I actually purchased the same type of bed Best decision of my life I took a picture of the pillow tag but was unable to match the pillow with the merchant

They needed more info I called Gainey and spoke to an amazingly awesome gentlemen name Josh He was so pleasant, helpful and super knowledgeable He was able to provide me with what I needed Thank you Josh for the best customer service experience!

I enjoyed our stay The pool area was very nice, the other guests were super friendlyThe room was clean, modern and decorated well but the carpeting will need cleaning or updating soon

This is a family oriented location so if children bother you, head elsewhere

We rented a 2 bedroom suite, 2 bath Nice amenities in bathrooms Living area was smaller than other resorts we frequent

Kitchen was not fully stocked and no stove Range was low-end, but did the job Needed to clean the toaster before using as there was debris inside making it smoke and we didn’t want the smoke detector going off Great complimentary breakfast and 5 PM happy hour with food Very social with plenty of seating areas around the pool, water falls, under the trees The outdoor area made up for any issues within our suites Very relaxing stay

This resort is absolutely beautiful, clean and all employees are friendly Franklin at Tia Carmen was also awesome! I wish we could give 45 because it was a wonderful experience

Not even 15 minutes after checking in there was the crib for the baby delivered and set up My only issues were that there was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest and the shower Although the shower is very pretty, the floor tile was very slippery We chose a very busy weekend so we didn’t get the fully experience everything the resort has to offer Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely return

I needed to stay in the area in March and was pleased to see a new hotel was available as cleanliness and upkeep is important to me New properties usually are in good shape Sadly, this property could use additional focus on maintaining the new fresh feel

The public restrooms in the lobby were not cleaned well or frequently Elevators and floors throughout would benefit from receiving additional attention Additionally, the initial room I was assigned had a significant odor in the bathroom On arrival, the bathroom door was closed, and abundant air freshener was noticed, perhaps as an attempt to address the issue I asked to be assigned to a different room and was initially told no other rooms were available However, the agent then found one He issued me new keys without any apology or showing any concern for the issue I hope the issue was reported so that it can be addressed for the next guestIn short, it is a nice new property with the potential to be very good, with some immediate focus on maintenance and cleanliness If not addressed, I fear this location will quickly lose its appeal

My son and I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Happy Valley We had a wonderful experience Check in was a breeze, very informative and welcoming

Their breakfast was phenomenal, hot, hearty, and delicious Carl the breakfast attendant was was so hard working, and kept everything fresh The front desk receptionist Meagan was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable She had a great smile to brighten up the rainy morning This hotel is modern and clean We will definitely be back!

I can’t lie this is a wonderful hotel staff was great rooms where the best set up nice even the entire Ambience is amazing What made me give two stars was the fact that I was trying to serve my wife breakfast in bed and was told I can’t bring food from the breakfast to my room I have a phobia of crowds and I wanted to eat in private intimate space with my wife

I was told this is Best Westerns policy Is this true if so that is very unfortunate

Started out great with an upgrade to 2 bedroom suite upon check in in via app Once we arrived late in the evening Patrick and other employee were friendly and got us checked in quickly Room was large, spacious, clean, and comfortable temperature

Beds were comfortable with nice pillows The room was very quiet — we were on the end of the wing HIGHLY recommend the 2 bedroom suite — great option for families Breakfast was adequate — never expect anything too great from free breakfast at a hotel Gathering area / dining area was large and nice views to patio / pool area Pool was decent size, lacked an abundance of lounge chairs, but wasn’t busy so all was good Along with pool and hot tub, there is a nice patio area in the garden area too — situated between two wings of the hotel Check out was easy too I would highly recommend this hotel — super close to the airport but yet off major highways and quiet

Cannot say enough positive things about this hotel & staff I received several texts checking on us before and throughout the stay They were friendly at the front desk

The room was quite large and clean I liked having the double sinks outside the bathroom There is an elevator on each side of the building The location was very convenient to the airport, and I believe they have a shuttle if needed I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Phoenix

This Homewood Suites location is central to many restaurants and shops I love the room choices and cleanliness of the hotel The breakfast is amazing and the pool was nice

The one issue that I keep having is checking in without issue During my first stay, my digital key would not work, but the manager assisted with correcting this However, on my most recent visit 2/19- 2/20, Mary, the front desk clerk, displayed unprofessional behavior Mary berated me for not knowing my reservation number, refused to look me up when I provided identification, and was rude to my wife Mary then informed me that she did not see my reservation in the system, and that I was at the wrong Homewood location despite previous stays When asked to speak to management, Mary laughed it off and informed me that “it doesn’t matter” I love this hotel and will return for the amenities and comfort, but Mary could be better at basic customer service

The hotel itself felt run down and a bit unsafe As for my room- there was a plastic bag covering something on the ceiling, 2 stains on the rug (one red one right next to the bed??) a broken picture frame, the tub was very stained/dirty, the shower head didn’t really work, light switches didn’t work, and there was no room number marking my room Honestly if I didn’t get in so late I wouldn’t have stayed here and if I had another night to stay I definitely would have switched hotels

The staff was very nice though

When we checked in I immediately noticed all the hair in the restroom part of the door knob is lose because it’s missing the only 2 screws it’s suppose to have the floor and the walls are dirty! We went and bought an air mattress because when we unfolded the sofa bed their were chicken nuggets in their they had no sheets or pillows for it The king bed sheets had hair and are pretty worn out already! When we went down stairs to ask for some other ones the only person that is working said he didn’t have any since they are short staff and he is the only employee currently working If I could give zero stars I would!

Julian G.

Honestly, the rating of 2 stars is actually too much But the hotel is trying to do some renovation

Gym: Worst gym I have seen so far 2 weights treadmill and stepper defectBreakfast: Not good at all No Not sustainable with plastic cutlery and platesPool: Ok Water Could be cleanerAC: Loud and not really effectiveRooms: partly renovated, shower looks good Very loud facing to the highwayCannot recommend

I couldn’t find less than one star My brother in law is a Marriott employee therefore I have stayed in over a hundred different Marriott franchises This was by far my worst experience

I was awaken by bugs crawling on my arm at midnight The employee on duty did offer me another room, but after not being able to go back to sleep I decided to check out and sleep in my car The employee on duty did apologize and stated the manager may try and contact me once he arrived in the morning Room number 409 needs to be exterminated immediately Maybe even the adjoining rooms as well This was my first and hopefully last time seeing an actual bed bug
