It was like having our own little apartment in the middle of downtown! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and furnished beautifully The staff was kind and attentive- shout out to Leigh And we could be almost anywhere downtown or the South Slope in a short walk

A lovely stay

Very memorable and comfortableFrom the time of inquiry to the moment we departed we had excellent communication with the Windsor Boutiqu staff Our arrival was smooth and they helped us out quite a bit with a couple of requests we had prior to arrival

Very clean, courteous and respectful upon entering the lobby and every where we went including our room was meticulously clean and well appointedThe bed was comfortable and we loved the luxury bedding Actually purchasing a couple of the same honey comb blankets we liked them so muchWhen we visit the area from now on, we will be happily be staying here Book early to make sure you have the option to stay hereAlso, the location is perfect and some of our favorite places to visit are within walking distanceThanks for a great weekend!!!~Jas and Krissy

Great room(s), good location, very helpful staff and great extras! Coffee and liquid creamer in room Large bath sheets, robes and slippers Cooler in lobby with water and umbrellas to borrow to walk around town in rain

My only negative is that pillows were not very comfortable But would definitely come back on my next visit

Overall it was a good stay Nice perks like digital keys, complimentary lattes/hot chocolate, etc, nice pool & hot tub For the price, the rooms could really be more modern & upscale – I was a little surprised by that not to mention a couple things like the drain not being properly sealed in our shower (big hole!), some mold in the shower, the fridge being a little dirty, no handsoap of any kind, etc

these are not things I would expect with a $180 price tag I will say all staff we encountered were extremely delightful and the spot this hotel is located is fabulous if you want to just park your car and walk to restaurants/shops I am not sure I would stay at this particular Hilton again based on the above issues but overall I think it’s fine

Seth Ritchie (appalachian_foodie)

Excellent stay – one of my favs in Asheville Biltmore Park is enough out of the way, yet offers plenty of shopping and dining on-siteThe beds are probably the last to be updated and are pretty firm, but the rooms are spacious, well laid out, and clean

The on-site restaurant is amazing, with a full service bar and several optionsIf you’re looking to avoid downtown traffic, consider this stay Hilton standards at their best!

William Bartles

Stayed here for one night and ate at the restaurant downstairs called Fork LoreI have already reviewed the restaurant separately but it was goodThe room was comfortable and for the most part clean

Bathroom was spotless, bed was clean and well maintained The one issue that we had was that there was a piece of half eaten candy laying on the night stand and we had to call for someone to clean it up as we were not going to touch it, thus, the three stars The room service was prompt to handle the situation and were very friendlyThe parking was a little strange as the garage is separate from the hotel and is connected via a series of walkways and elevatorsThe front desk was very helpful and friendlyIf you find this review helpful, please click on the thumbs up button at the bottom!

Nice place! Recently updated Easy check in/out Room was nice and comfortable

Good access to any restaurants and things you may need Perfect location close to Sierra Nevada, Blue Ghost, and Bold Rock Breweries Breakfast was good as well What really drew us here was the cheap pet rate A lot of places really mail you on the pet fee but we felt that $20 was reasonable here

Jessica Pulcifer

We were very pleased with this Comfort Inn The ladies at the desk were super nice and helpful! The cat has been there for 10 years The kids thought that was great and thought it was funny to see her in the lobby

Only saw her stay around the doors, no further Everything was clean It is older, but they’ve made updates The hotel was full, but I never heard anyone in the halls or talking through the walls! The pool was clean and well maintained Breakfast was great and kept up with Waffles, sausage, eggs, a few cereals, your usual continental breakfast We would definitely stay here again

joseph spainhour

Sheets and pillowcases were used on a hastily made a bed Missing 2 of the 3 bath towels Bed was hastily made

Should have known it was going to be bad when the door was propped ajar by the safety latch when we walked up Someone was definitely staying in it That that the staff knew aboutThe cheep toilet seat kept shifting Those recent renovations we’re definitely done by low end group, par for Asheville though

Pretty decent hotel, we were able to bring out fur baby so that was a bonus The room was clean, spacious for us We did not utilize any of the other amenities so I cannot speak on that

Parking is limited / fills pretty quick so you may have to walk slightly up a hill to get to the doors It was quiet and we were able to check out later (12:30) I would return here again if we visited the area

Candra Burns

Great location and in the hills tucked away on a main road The lobby and staff in the lobby were very welcoming and helpful They accommodated my Service Dog

The room was so big, they had everything needed for a long weekend stay with a full kitchen The complimentary breakfast was good 1 star off from me because a housestaff person walked into our room 2 hours prior to checkout, but Troy the General Manager took care of that immediately after my phone call No one should be permitted to walk into rooms prior to checkout for any reason

Noah Chauvin

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights around the 4th of July Hotel was perfect! We had stayed in a 2 queen Mountain View suite which was lovely There was beautiful views from the bedroom and living area

The hotel & rooms were spotless and very quiet All of the employees were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was good and they had a nice selection It would be nice if they could get a waffle maker (or two) that other Homewood Suites offer Hotel was close to a lot of restaurants, shops, and a very short drive to the Biltmore Estate They only downside was the elevator was far from the lobby I would recommend after check in to park near the 2nd door down in the back to be close to the elevator if your room is on the upper floors The next time I visit Asheville I will definitely stay again here

Not a bad hotel for a night The rooms were generally clean, spacious and smelled good Everything worked correctly but the water must be very hard because it was difficult to rinse the soap off

The pool is indoors and very small, if no one is in the pool it would be hard to swim laps, with one person in the pool it is impossible The free breakfast is pretty light but the did have sausage patties and precooked omelettes as well as make your own waffles Nothing is in walking distance to the hotel but a Waffle House The staff was friendly enough but not very helpful The luggage carts were few, very small, and scattered

Angie Walker

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel The employees were all very friendly and helpful The hotel is clean and spacious and has many extra amenities

We would certainly stay here again However, our issue was with the parking and door access The entries into the hotel are awkward in relation to room access For example, we were on the fifth floor From either point of entry door, you must walk a full length hallway to get to the elevator

Taylor B

Im usually the one staying at higher end hotels This was a girl’s trip and we went a little more frugal Pleasantly surprised by the beautiful building, service and cleanliness

The front desk staff were very helpful The rooms were super clean!Pool was well maintained and breakfast was deliciousThank you for a nice stay 😊

Absolutely loved our stay here! Greeted with a friendly valet service followed by a quick check in and complimentary champagne The mountain view from our room was fantastic The room was very modern and clean, loved the Bluetooth mirror

Even the fitness center was spotless and well maintained, with plenty of equipment Never had to wait for an elevator and the location is excellent we were able to walk everywhere we needed with ease Staff really go above and beyond to ensure a great stay We will definitely stay here again

N Shuford

Great valet service I have to say, the valet staff was by far the best part of our experience They were professional, organized, and didn’t drive anyone’s car like a Formula 1 driver

The room was well appointed, clean, and we had a great view The hotel has plenty of elevators which means you never wait long to get to your floor The front desk staff were nice They could explain amenities and restaurant hours to each guest I noticed while waiting there were inconsistencies but overall it wasn’t a deal breaker, most info is on the room The room has a safe, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker There’s even a desk for business travelers The bed was very comfortable, nice sheets, and pillows The bathroom linens were thick and plush (loved then) The shower head is rain shower style and was relaxing The pressure was perfect! You’re a short walk to great restaurants if you don’t want to eat at the hotel Great location for those looking for good views and short walks to great shops

Thanh-Xuan Nguyen

The staffs at the hotel will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable I checked in late at night, near midnight The front desk manager introduced himself and said that someone will be there 24/7, so if I need anything, I can let them know

I thought this is just a standard greeting But true to his words, I came down later, looking for a lint roller from the hotel shop Although I couldn’t find it there, Bill went and retrieved one from the back office for me, removing the first layer of the lint roller so that it looks clean and ready for me Then, after checking out, the next day, I realized I forgot some articles in the room I called the hotel, and spoke to Lilly She put me at ease, went looking for it, and told me that they found it They then worked with me to ship it to my house Those two examples are just a few of many amazing encounters I had at the hotel where the staffs went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable I will definitely stay there again

We had a short one night stay here, it was amazing! Super clean, great amenities, super nice staff Feels more like a studio apartment than a hotel room Other people talked about noise, however our room faced the major road there and it was super quiet in the bedroom

Especially at night Would stay again, and am absolutely going to recommend to friends

Benjy Wang

Everything we wanted in a hotel Convenience, a nice breakfast, and an attentive staffI actually left my work laptop here and they were actually nice enough to use a local courier to ship it the next day to me

The rooms are phenomenal and the suite we got included two big beds (one for our son), a sitting area, dining table, full size fridge, sink, filtered water, dishwater, and stocked full of dishesIt was like being at home with a cleaning service Stay here if you like the feeling and comfort of home with some nice extras while you’re on vacation

Sam Sanborn

I stayed here for six weeks while my house was being worked on and I have absolutely no complaints The people that work here are really good, wholesome people who really do care about their customers I was really, really impressed with everything from how clean it was and how well-maintained, to how close it was to downtown and everything I needed

I can’t say enough about how great my stay was God bless these lovely people!!

Just perfect! After a week of driving and staying at various hotels, we decided to spend a few nights and go hiking in Asheville I was so happy that we chose this hotel We booked the executive king

It was so spacious I love the layout of the room and the modern earth tone colors We all had room to lounge and relax It is set up more like an efficiency apartment with a sofabed The room was exceptionally clean and sanitized, carpets were plush, the shower was invigorating Of course, the bed and linen made for a wonderful night’s sleep Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn fare, but it was plentiful and refreshed The room attendant was consistently kept the tables clean Thank you for such a pleasing stay We will definitely be back

Billy Tharp

Hotel is beautiful and clean with many amenitiesMy only gripe is the view from my room Room 209 is immediately above the indoor pool so all you see is the rooftop of the pool

I asked the front desk and was told that they don’t have enough staff to clean all the rooms (40+ not ready to occupy)Note- I’d have given a 5⭐️ had I been able to have any view other than the rooftop

Diane Sileo

Everything about our stay was WONDERFUL, from the room, staff and just the overall experience!! The breakfast in the morning was an absolute plus and the food was great!! Kitchen staff always made sure things were filled and entire eating and food area was clean We would DEFINITELY recommend staying here if you are visiting the Biltmore area!!

Sinéad McClinton

The lobby, golf course, trails are beautiful The restaurant buffet is great and worth the money for sure Beautiful fire indoor and outdoor pit

And a good size balcony But the rooms are a little small and almost like an after though compared to the more upscale curbside appeal and lobby/restaurant lookThe bathroom is small, would be better with a walk in shower and remove the small dated tub And a simple fix to open the bathroom door out vs In would make a huge difference Not a lot of thought out into the room, but i guess you only sleep there so it can be tolerable

Buster Young

We recently stayed here and overall had a great time We had a bit of an issue at check in with our room We were given a room on the bottom floor of a separate building that appeared to be a spare room that perhaps was used for storage

Let’s just say it was not the caliber of room you would expect I brought it to the management’s attention and they made it right and got us in a room that was very much suitable and what we expected The hotel was sold out of rooms but we had made a reservation My purpose of bringing this up is that the property made it right and we ended up with a good room and overall enjoyed our stay The breakfast was extremely good Very nice staff We would definitely stay with them again

Brook Anderson

Stayed in May 2022 My room was clean and had a small balcony On-site bar and restaurant nice but expensive

Good location if you don’t want to stay downtown Decent conference room facilities The hotel was quiet and I slept well each night They have a shuttle to take you downtown and back for $8 per person Small maintenance issues such as the phone in my room didn’t work well and my bathroom light kept flickering but overall an enjoyable stay

My husband and I stayed here with our dog Cooper and we loved it! The room was huge and very clean with housekeeping service every night! The staff was incredible and so friendly! The location is perfect with lots of shops, dining, and breweries walking distance We really love the bier garden and the French restaurant that were in the same building – great food and super convenient We loved this hotel and we will definitely be back!

Terri Kane

Not worth the cost The furniture was well used and upholstery was stained There was mold in the shower

The hot water faucet in the bathroom faucet sounded like a fog horn I was disappointed that our view looked directly into the apartment next door We had to keep the curtains closed making the room too dark For almost $900 for a two night visit, I was disappointed (queen superior room) However, I give the valet staff 5 stars They were awesome

Elizabeth Weaver

Excellent staff, clean rooms, and nice location! You can’t ask for much more! I was especially in need of the fabulous customer service in order to get in and out of my car and luggage to my room due to recovering from a recent surgery on my footEveryone was ready and willing to help with each departure and arrivalThe room was spacious and spotless! Amenities included a refrigerator and keurig-type coffee maker, but there wasn’t a microwave

Presence of a microwave isn’t make-or-break for me, but warming up leftovers from an evening out isn’t easily done

Looked for Asheville stay Found this hotel on my IHG app Noticed it was flagged as new

I like newLocation- It was close to a highway exit, less than 5 minutes from downtown via local roadsNearby- There were several fast food restaurants and two full service eat places nearbyParking lot- More than sufficient in size Although the entrance sign is obscured by the sign of a nearby restaurant, so slow down so you don’t miss itInterior Lobby- Spacious, bright and shiny like a new penny Staff- Helpful with a list of restaurants nearby and downtownRoom- Decent size and it too looked new Beds were comfortableAs my first extended visit to Asheville, we needed a late check-out to explore and received itI was pleased! They have self service snacks, but no breakfast However, Cracker Barrel was right across the street

What an amazing building, and the grounds and breathtaking It would probably take a few days to explore and experience everything this place has to offer Everyone who worked there that we interacted with was top tier

They were so nice, helpful, and accommodating You can tell that the staff really love what they do The patrons were also great, and we carried on multiple conversations with people we didn’t even know! It was a bit cold when we were there, but I can’t wait to go back and explore the grounds We saw people swimming outside in the huge heated pool and were very tempted! We will definitely be back soon!

Mike Kvintus

The views were amazing and service was outstanding, but the downside was the facilities were very dated including old/frayed rugs in the main hallways and the rooms were worn The rooms were better in the newer wing but still worn while the rooms in the original section were very worn The great room was fantastic with music each evening

We spent a lot of time in the great room and on the terraces Dinner on the Sunset Terrace at sunset was the perfect setting! Overall we had a wonderful vacation despite the dated facilities and would like to go back

Loren King

Very nice! Service was awesome Reservations are a must if you want to enjoy the dinning experience to the fullest With that being said, the gift store doubles as a food place as well and you don’t need reservations to go there

Very clean, which is something that is very important to me I’m going to be honest, it’s definitely an “upper class” resort, pretty expensive Though if you’re a golf, spa, wine and dine person, then leave the kids with a family member and enjoy

It was wonderful to stay here the place was clean and neat

The check in was quick and the rooms were clean They do not have free breakfast like others but it would be good if they had Everything in the room worked out well The bathroom was neat and all products were available The house cleaning lady was really helpful in getting the stuff we asked for I would definitely book here again if I am around

PsykoticGodd MFP

Service at the front desk used to be great Seems like the quality of front desk agents have gone downhill by not caring about guests, nor helping them out When a guest walks in you are NEVER to direct them to book online or they can call the hotel and you can then transfer them to reservations

This is how you lose customers I will NEVER send people there again if you are making the guests work even harder after they may have had a long trip or whatever the case Horrible customer service from the female on the night of 7/16/22 She is the reason I will tell people to go elsewhere

It was a little tricky to find as the sign to the entrance is kind of small (between McDonald’s and red and gray building being redone)That being said, the staff there was lovely The afternoon (3-11) person from 8/10/22 to 8/12 was fantastic! I believe her name was Dinah

The other young lady, Brigitte (sp?) was also very helpful!

Clean and the staff was great they were able to take us in when our other reservation fell through We ate dinner at their lounge upstairs and the vibe was amazing Staff there were also super nice

We ate breakfast there and we had the best waitress, food was so good Location was great but it’s not right downtown Also it was snowing really bad and the parking lot was icy so we slipped once or twice I feel like it should gave been salted to prevent guests from falls I will be going back this summer

Alexandra Erickson

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this hotel For the positives: the breakfast is wonderful (although there is no continental option) The staff is beyond friendly

The gym is huge and clean The lobby is elegantly appointed For the negatives: they charge $10/day for parking and the pool is cold and dirty The rooms are drab and oddly lacking, and the linens were less than comfortable It was, however, quiet and the bathroom/shower was clean and comfortable The rooftop bar is a must-see!

Jake Cochran

Location is perfect We could walk to everything downtown If you do the trolley tour there is at Pack’s Square (5 walk)

We parked the car and didn’t have to drive till we left to go home Use the app to check in and out so you can pick your room Very clean Rooftop bar is great Good food Wonderful views Best hotel stay in years

Stay was great! Until an employee stole my AirPods We tracked them to a car and had turns out he and his wife DID in fact, take them We were okay and ready to just take our stuff back and leave, until they tried to say it was an accident

Honestly, I wish I could rate this hotel better since it was an employee and the hotel itself had no idea until we told them, but when they attempted to brush it off as an accident?

James Thomas

Had high expectations for the stay unfortunately that was not the case Red Stag grill is over priced for quality of food Steak i dont believe was a prime cut as listed and not very tender

I have never given a negative review but a major issue when checking out Found that my friend daughter airpods were missing After tracking them to a employee car and recovering them with Hotel management, we were told it was a mistake Completely unacceptable and disappointing for end of our stay Would advise looking at other options for your stay

Cory Mock

Planned to stay here a month ago, then my wife and daughter came down with a stomach bug the day before around 3 PM I called to see what my options were to reschedule our stay and was told that I had up to 24 hrs prior to cancel or reschedule I said great I will talk to my wife on a date to reschedule and call right back to rebook the stay

15 minutes later, I called back to reschedule, with known dates that we were available, but this time I was transferred to what seemed like a corporate line instead of the actual location, spent 20 minutes on hold, only to be told that we could not rebook or cancel within 3 days of the check in date I asked to speak to the person that I spoke to prior at the location, but I did not have a name and they kept stating that there was nothing that they could do No deduction on fee, nothing So we still ended up having to pay for the almost $1000/night room without being able to reschedule! After writing this review, the hotel replied and I contacted at the local level and they were able to refund my full deposit Thank you for making things right! We fully intend to rebook this stay at a later time!

Outstanding stay The cleanest hotel we have stayed in the past several years The staff is VERY nice and does a great job

I am not kidding when I say this hotel feels brand new, it was pretty much spotless and as enjoyable as possible The breakfast was very well attended to which made it really efficient for us to get the family fed and on the road the last day especially The rooms and bathrooms look like a company commercial could be filmed out of them as they were perfect I would stay here again without question, this is very well managed and we as Hilton Diamond guests stay in a lot of properties (This was property #4 in our summer vacation we stayed in), and this was by far the best of our vacation and definitely the cleanest and best ran hotel we have stayed at over the past couple of years Well done

Michele

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel The hotel is spotless and impeccable The beds are very comfortable

The feather pillows are always a nice touch The complimentary breakfast was delicious No need to find a restaurant if you stay at this hotel The staff are professional, patient, and kind They go above and beyond for hotel guests

This is a nice hotel and the location is perfect However as other have reviewed there is absolutely no place to put your clothes away out of site I was there with my sons four 4 nights and with no place to put our clothes away you are forced to either live out of a suit case or have your clothes out on a long shelf/bench that goes the length of the room

I get the minimalistic approach but this is just ridiculous Also many commented on the toilet which huge and square I thought those were strange comments but you will see what is meant when there; just very strange Sometimes designers try to hard to be different and forget about application Lastly, it may be an Asheville thing but there is no pool which was disappointing Overall a decent hotel with very friendly staff

Andrew Plymale

Great location to everything Room and hotel was super clean, housekeeping should be very proud we were impressed and have stayed at some 5 star places so great work The terrace on 9 has great views, can relax and have a nice strong drink

If I could change one thing it’s the toilets Not sure who tried the square seats and felt that was good

Kristy Sheridan

I have never stayed at an AC Hotel before and I loved it Check in and room key all done on my phone So easy

Front desk staff was very helpful when I had questions Hotel was beautiful…very modern, which I love Room was great Bed and pillows were comfortable and shower was great! All was clean Location was awesome Walking distance to a lot of things Would definitely stay here again and look forward to choosing AC Hotels again

We always try to stay in Fairfield Inns when we travel This particular Fairfield Inn is a big disappointment First, the good news

Check in was efficient and friendly Beds were good and bathroom was clean and had a great shower but no tub However, it appeared that the carpet had not been vacuumed as there were several spots where obvious refuse was still there For a price over $25200 per night the room was really no better than many budget hotels If you don’t mind spending your money for a run of the mill hotel room, stay here But there are just as good and even better places for less money

Shana Fox

This hotel was decent, the bed was great Shower needed better cleaning, scratches all over walls and breakfast was horrible Staff was very friendly though and it made the stay more pleasant

We were hoping for a hot breakfast but everything had to be microwaved No waffle maker, no toaster and nothing fresh We didn’t get bottles of water or anything like other reviewers have said But for the price it was the most cost efficient hotel nearby

Dawn Sweatt

It doesn’t even deserve one star This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life I made a reservation a month ahead of time

Pre-paid in full I get to my room and they told me that they gave it away First I stand in the lobby for 20 minutes because nobody’s there I keep calling and calling and calling till finally some kid comes out the back looking stoned out of his mind and he tells me we gave your room away you should’ve called us Why do I have to call you to tell you a time I’m checking in when I’ve already paid for my room To add insult to injury they don’t even apologize they just tell me here’s your refund They left me and my young son stranded with no room at 1 o’clock in the morning I cannot believe the incompetence of Marriott I have filed a complaint with the state attorney general I have never in my 35 years of traveling had a hotel do this to me They didn’t try to help me find another room or anything When I asked him what I was supposed to do now he said I have no idea I guess you should start calling some hotels Thankfully the Hilton next door helped me They didn’t have a room but their receptionist took the time to call local hotels and find a room for me as she could visually see I was upset There is absolutely no excuse for this Corporate doesn’t even have the decency to apologize to me I’ve been a loyal Marriott customer for years I will never use them again

I’m afraid to leave such a shining review of this place because my selfish fear is that it will be impossible to make a reservation because of its popularity, but I’m going to do it anyway This hotel is absolutely fantastic on every front The management and staff are top notch, kind and professional

The rooms are clean, spacious, bright and modern with excellent AC, and the bedding is fresh and comfortable The facilities (pool, decks, shared seating spaces, and lobby) are impeccably clean and fun to hang out in The parking is safe, convenient and fairly priced But the best part is the locationyou can walk anywhere Restaurants, breweries, shopping, baseball stadium, parks, grocery store, food hall are all within an absolutely manageable walking distance You will look forward to coming back here after a day walking around, tubing, drinking, eating or whatever it is you came to Asheville to do This hotel checks all the boxes, and Marriott should be proud of whomever is in charge here It’s great I’m a repeat summer guest and will continue to book here when I’m in Asheville

My husband and I came to Asheville for a concert We have been to Asheville many times but this is the first staying at this hotel

Everything was wonderful, from the friendly faces that greeted us to the comfy rooms What really heightened our experience was an employee there named Martin He was absolutely amazing, a real gem After the concert we made our way to the hotels roof top lounge Martin came to check on us while we were up there He thanked us for coming, made sure we had waters, and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay better It was much appreciated!!!

There for a father/son this past weekend with my youngest son who is getting married in a few weeks The hotel was fantastic…great customer service, perfect location, excellent facilities and clean, updated rooms In addition, I left something at the hotel and the GM went out of his way to return it

I am a lifetime Diamond Hilton Honors member and the Aloft in Asheville is one of the best I strongly recommend you stay there when in AshevilleAloft team, thanks for helping make this a great weekend!
