Booked a room last min for a same-day booking They allowed me to check-in early, The major sell was having my dog Zeke with me and finding an affordable place on short notice Luckily, I was happily surprised that the hotel and amenities were far beyond my expectations

I stayed for one night I enjoyed the trails and Museum on the Hotel grounds All in all, everything I had hoped to receive from my stay I did and more, I would 100% go back and stay again

So I am a Marriott 1000+ nights traveller but just couldn’t justify paying $200+/night this week while on the road so I looked around and found this resort and booked it with a bit of skepticism but price was sensible and it looked like it would be clean Probably my favorite travel night this year! What a great and relaxing place to spend the evening Sat out on the front porch in a deck chair and enjoyed the view while I got a bit of work done with no wifi issues anywhere on the grounds

Went to bed that evening and looked around the old fashioned but well appointed room and it just reminded me of being a kid sleeping at my Grandma’s house Took a fantastic walk the next morning on the trails and visited the original spring Really nice break from what my normal work travel week looks like I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area! Great place and the sign as you drive in that says “Stress Free Zone” is spot on!!

My husband and I wanted a nice getaway for his birthday We choose the Munroe Inn and we were very pleased with our choice Olga, the owner of this lovely turn of the century house, was very friendly and accommodating with our 2 night stay

We enjoyed time on the porch reading and the breakfasts Olga prepared were very special We appreciated her explanation of local foods and her help with finding places to see while in town This is a lovely Inn with quite a few stained glass windows and wonderful woodwork The location is nice as it is walking distance to the downtown area with a few restaurants and river to see All this made for a relaxing and fun time away

Lisa Bauer

This was awful we looked all over to make sure there wasn’t an extra charge for the dogs We got there they said there was a charge for a dog who said no problem will pay but it looks like it’s a real scam We tried to call we couldn’t get a hold of you to make sure of all the details and they canceled our reservation and didn’t give us the money back

Not a family friendly place nothing to hide hide nothing

The Monroe Inn is a charming Victorian Inn, and it’s innkeeper, Olga, does a excellent job of managing it It is clean and beautifully furnished in period pieces and eclectic artwork Throughout the property there are multiple seating areas where people can sit and relax

Do not miss her locally sourced and always changing healthy and delicious breakfasts Olga is happy to offer advice on places to eat and places to see We will be back again

Beautiful room Very clean Extra towels already in the bedroom

We asked for extra pillows and delivered them to the room right away I was very happy with the way the room, lobby and dining area was designed A full complimentary breakfast and we ordered our large breakfast that would have been at least $30 We were able to choose what floor and the view We chose the top floor with the river/rock view which was very pretty The only downfall was our neighbors next door had dogs and were left alone and the barking was extremely loud and didn’t stop till after 10pm so we had to wait to get to sleep When our pillows was being delivered, the dogs could clearly be heard It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the neighbors had dogs Or the hotel should have made sure there would have been a room empty before our room and not hear the barking

I’m frantically looking for hotels to stay at due to my apartment flooding so my roommates an I were calling around, my roommate happened to call this hotel after me so when I called back later in the afternoon I was met with attitude being told “we’ve already told you this 3 times sir” on my second call to them All I needed was an invoice of some sort showing the entire cost of our stay for the insurance company and instead I was met with instant attitude I’m sure it’s a great place to stay most of the time but I definitely didint appreciate the attitude I received

Stacy Grosse

This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in by far! I booked through Priceline and got an amazing deal for a king suite There was a little mixup when we checked in (seriously no big deal at all!) and the desk clerk offered us free waters for the duration of our stay, which was just so kind! The pool area was clean, and the towels were heated Our room was so clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! They had a huge selection of food items, including omelets, empanatas and mini quiches, as well as fresh fruits, cereals, iced and hot coffees, and other chilled breakfast foods

If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

My husband and I recently got married at the Wolf Cove Inn in June! I’m not kidding when I say that our wedding day was perfect and much of that was because of Sue and her amazing staff! We had a small outdoor ceremony with 10 guests and we stayed for the weekend All of our family was in one place and they were able to relax and have their own Maine adventure Andy and I met in Maine six years before and it was beautiful to share our love of Maine with all of them

The Wolf Cove Inn was the perfect wedding venue and just a great place to relax with each other Being on the lake was breathtaking and be sure to go out with one of their kayaks or canoes! We will definitely have to stay again for one of our anniversaries!

Amazing winter getaway for me, my husband, and our small dog We stayed in the Eagle’s Nest Cabin, and could not have had a more restful and beautiful experience at Wolf Cove Inn The frozen Tripp Lake was beautiful, and the sunrise over the lake was a beautiful sight

The service at the Inn was amazing – delicious breakfasts and pizza dinner, and the room was cozy and sparkling clean! We wanted a quiet vacation to celebrate my husband’s birthday with some hiking and just being close to nature, and our stay at Wolf Cove Inn fit that perfectly We can’t wait to return again Thank you Sue and Roy!

We hosted our wedding celebration weekend at King’s Hill Inn and Barn a few weeks ago and it was everything I imagined it would be! Kate was so helpful throughout our planning (and rescheduling due to COVID) process She provided many referrals and truely helped make our weekend everying we planned it to be We ended up planning an extra event on Friday and they were super helpful and flexible with our plans, which was amazing

Nancy was on site when we needed her and was super friendly and helpful The venue is absolutely stunning – the grounds are so well maintained and the barn is the perfect setting for a fun party!

This has to be one of my new favorite places Not only is the family who runs the whole shebang kind as can be, they are warm and kind and welcomingThe entire home is clean, fresh and peaceful

It’s on a quiet road set on a hillside The landscape is lovely and lush The grass is thick and green, the gardens are a delicate dotting of pastel colors that compliment the home perfectlyThe barn is well stellar It’s old old old, but it is SO well taken care of It has the most gorgeous wood flooring and it has wait for it— A FIREPLACE! *swoon*Y’all the sunset is breathtaking You can look over to the west and see the mountains just being cloaked in the golden hour of sunset, not a single thing disrupting the ambiance, with a soundtrack of a trillion peepers all aroundSafe to say, it is a true gem It’s fun, it’s beautiful, it’s exactly where you want to have a special event like your wedding or family reunionAlso, a bonus- the sweet owners are photographers who are undoubtedly gifted and clearly love what they do

One word to describe kings in and barn the place is MAGICAL This is the place to create a once in a life time memory! The owner Nancy was incredible in helping planning the wedding!! The grounds were beautiful, the garden, that the bride walked through was magnificent out of a fairytale! There was plenty of parking and the Barn was was just amazing! With curtain and lights hung the bride and groom dancing in there was breathe taking!!We liked the estate is easy to get to and yet your event is private Nancy provided a large lovely golf cart to transport guest to the outside marriage site and then back to the barn

They also provided all the tables and chairs that we needed An amazing great job that Nancy and Kate did on this once in a lifetime day!!
