Clean, comfy, cozy!We got in to town a little late so the front staff had sent us instructions on how to access our room We got a room with 2 queen beds

Man, these beds are comfy!! A lot better than the fancy hotel we stayed at the night prior!! We got 3 HOT showers back to back Our view of the golf course will was wonderfulThe best $135 room I’ve ever stayed in!

Matt Gannon

I did a stay and play package here and it was wonderful and budget friendly Played 9 on Fri, 18 on Sat and Sun Etowah Valley Golf has 3 great 9 hole course, each with a different feel

My favorite was the south course, but they were each lots of fun The fairways are absolutely plush, really good shape right now The vast majority of the greens are in excellent condition A few greens on the North course had some issues, but that didn’t negatively impact how the ball rolled The rough on all three courses is extremely thick so either keep it in the fairway or buy some cheap balls in bulk I don’t even want to think about how many balls I lost this weekend to the roughThe practice green is a lot of fun, the driving range needs to be resoded in the hitting area or just give up and put some high quality mats down The current system is awkward Pool was nice, room was very good don’t come here expecting super, modern, luxury rooms that stuff costs money I’d rather them focus on the course anyway They were clean, comfy bed, no issues The view from the balcony was really specialThe food at Zeke’s was tasty, the servers were great at their jobs, my man on the grill Sunday with the tie-dye shirt knows what’s up Very good customer service all around from check in/out, food service, house keeping, cart team and the rangerLastly, I would like it known to all who read this that I hit a punch out 4 iron on #6 North from the right rough through a tree and it ended up a foot from the hole for a tap in birdieOverall I had a wonderful time and I’ll definitely be back

randy dunn

Had taken a large group there 20 years ago This trip we had 32 in the group Worked with Louise Henry, in the 20 years we have been doing this I have never worked with anyone so helpful

The course needs work greens were in bad shape due to weather Young man in pro shop needs to take lessons from Mrs Henry on dealing with people If you don’t like your job change it The food was great breakfast and dinner were included in our package The restaurant staff was fantastic thank you A beautiful layout just needs a little work on the course

Incredible view from our table Delicious food and superb service We had the walnut crusted mountain trout with blueberry butter and it was so good I’m still dreaming about it

We also loved the fried chicken And the kids portions were perfect for our little ones Try the French Silk pie “all in” with strawberries, almonds, and a scoop of ice cream

Ross Bower

Great stay Wonderful restaurant and staff were all super kind The views in WNC don’t get better than this from a king sized bed

The rooms were pretty standard hotel vibes Nothing spectacular but the views made up for itNote: the whole floor was really sticky, May want to consider changing the concentration for the floor cleaner May be too much soap Also please clean off the duvets Very dusty

Brittney Robertson

I didn’t stay at the inn, only dined The food was wonderful, I added pictures of each dish The French Onion soup was the best I have had

The salad was divine The dessert (blackberry cobbler) was also very fresh Nothing tasted frozen The view of course is the winner You will not find a better view anywhere else Just overall a wonderful experience The service was perfect

Nice place! Recently updated Easy check in/out Room was nice and comfortable

Good access to any restaurants and things you may need Perfect location close to Sierra Nevada, Blue Ghost, and Bold Rock Breweries Breakfast was good as well What really drew us here was the cheap pet rate A lot of places really mail you on the pet fee but we felt that $20 was reasonable here

Jessica Pulcifer

We were very pleased with this Comfort Inn The ladies at the desk were super nice and helpful! The cat has been there for 10 years The kids thought that was great and thought it was funny to see her in the lobby

Only saw her stay around the doors, no further Everything was clean It is older, but they’ve made updates The hotel was full, but I never heard anyone in the halls or talking through the walls! The pool was clean and well maintained Breakfast was great and kept up with Waffles, sausage, eggs, a few cereals, your usual continental breakfast We would definitely stay here again

joseph spainhour

Sheets and pillowcases were used on a hastily made a bed Missing 2 of the 3 bath towels Bed was hastily made

Should have known it was going to be bad when the door was propped ajar by the safety latch when we walked up Someone was definitely staying in it That that the staff knew aboutThe cheep toilet seat kept shifting Those recent renovations we’re definitely done by low end group, par for Asheville though

We recently visited Pilot Cove for 3 nights It is now my new favorite place The location could not have been better

The accommodations were so thoughtfully designed Nothing was left out that you could possibly need Sitting out on that deck you could not ask for anything more The bed Was so comfortable that now I want a new mattress Even the coffee was fabulousI am seriously looking at my calendar to try to figure out how soon we can go back

Tracy Haisley

My husband and I love coming to Pilot Cove This was our fifth time and second with our dog, Poppy It really has become our home away from home

The location is amazing, so close to our favorite breweries, food trucks and restaurants Not to mention the outdoor activity, we literally could not be any closer to the trails in Pisgah And it’s the perfect space for Poppy She can play on the deck or in the cabin without us worrying about her getting in to trouble We often say if they were selling one we’d jump at the chance to buy it because it literally is the perfect layout in the perfect place We love it and will keep coming back In fact, we’re already planning our 5th wedding anniversary there Labor Day weekend! Can’t wait!

Logan Logan

A lovely, quiet, peaceful place to stay Modern cabins with all of the necessities for an enjoyable retreat Dog-friendly

The TV remote was brokeThere was no ability to get a packed to go breakfast before 6am There was a brown liquid in tub near faucet, and bathroom floor was very damp & cold

The “sheets” are not separate from comforters & were stained and also the room coffee maker was broken Also, the ice maker in hallway was always filled with solid chunks of built of ice cube and didn’t work properly Lastly, when I asked staff for a manager I was not provided one Staff was rarely able to be found As many points as it took to stay here I expected so much better!

Average for Hampton Inn – rooms on the small size Charged $200 a night bc concert at Brevard Music Center which is 15 – 20 drive from hotel Seemed egregious for quality of room, location, and small town Got a cheaper rate in Downtown ATL during multiple events 2 weeks prior and had a suite It is very close to Pisgah entrance which was nice

Sandhya Clebanoff

Awesome place to stay for those visiting the area! Very friendly for bikers My girlfriend and I were here for 3 days while biking the endless trails in the area at Pisgah, DuPont, and Bracken Preserve It has retro vibes and the rooms have all the amenities you’ll need

The owners are extremely friendly and talked to us when we were working on our bikes in the parking lot They offered some advice about local spots and told us about plans to put in a bike maintenance area and washing station soon! Why stay at the chain hotels where you get a dirty look for walking your bike through the lobby to keep it in the room for the night when you can stay here and it’s encouraged! They even offer bike tarps for the room I would suggest bringing a stand though I highly recommend this place for a weekend trip visiting the area even if you aren’t a biker Good location, everything is a few minutes drive or even walk if you want I will be staying here each time I come back if it’s available

Tim Norris

Overall for an iconic 50’s hotel it was great The owner is really nice and has big plans for the future including a tree house room down by the creek Rooms are small and nathrooms are smaller

Couldn’t find more towels after hours as well, only 2 were supplied and we traveled in 3s No big deal over all and is easily fixable The motel has been in a couple movies as welllook it up!

Susan Morgan

We stayed in #20 on the back side of the motel First of all this motel is clean, very clean Very quiet area where our room was

We had a queen room with a kitchen Nice set up, comfy, a real feel at home atmosphere The kitchen had it all, there was not one thing we needed and didn’t have We enjoyed listening to the record player, Brian in the office has a great collection of record albums to pick from Brian knows a lot about the area, so take all your questions to him Hope you see lots of white squirrels, they are a legend in Brevard Thank you Brian we had a wonderful time and we will be back Have a great day and be blessedEddie, Susan, and Batman

Excellent lodging experience at this Hampton Inn Very accommodating staff and housekeeping services We stayed in a newly renovated king suite that was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations

We highly recommend this Hampton Inn and would stay there anytime we visit Asheville and the surrounding area Good proximity to the Blue Ridge parkway and Pisgah National Forest Close to the fabulous Sierra Nevada brewery We were able to take our pet and enjoy a wonderful holiday weekend

Josephine Marcus

At some point Hilton has got to start cleaning the rooms again in some sort of professional manner and treating its guest better It’s like, since Covid came around, it’s a convenient excuse to charge you just as much and give you much less customer service Id like to attach a picture I took of the garbage piled up in my room while I was waiting for somebody to clean it, but there doesn’t appear to be an option for pictures

Even when they came to clean they did a very poor job, not cleaning the floor, not vacuuming, not changing the sheets even though I had been there for four days, just unprofessionalYou just start cleaning again or provide us with cleaning supplies and extra sheets and towels so we can just do it ourselves

When my plans fell through I needed a place to stay for one night in the Cashiers area I’m glad I stumbled upon this cute little mountain inn The pictures online do not do it justice at all

When we pulled in the parking lot the grounds were meticulously landscaped and maintained The lady at the front desk could not have been nicer and showed us around the property The room itself is small however super clean Besides my bed at home it must be the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on I’m extremely picky when it comes to mattresses and this one does not disappoint! It looks clean and smells clean from the minute you walk in I don’t know why you wouldn’t give this place a five-star review They have a fire pit outback with complimentary wood to burn and a cute sunroom attached to the main office with board games, card games and checkers They even have a gas log fireplace you can turn on Do yourself a favor and just stay here!

Joel Brickner

Julie, Jim and Lori are the 5 star hosts at a 5 star Inn in the beauty of the Sapphire ValleyClean, comfortable and cozy are all adjectives for the Brook Trout InnBeautiful grounds with a walking trail and a fire pit

Comfy lounge with a fireplace and a big games and meals table are next to a large kitchen well stocked with complimentary snacks, drinks, eggs, bacon, yogurt, juice and breads; with all of the pans, utensils, silverware, plates, bowls, etcthe back deck is the perfect spot for watching the sun setMy wife and I enjoyed the lounge with the fireplace while drinking wine, eating popcorn and playing gamesThe rooms are comfortable, with a mild modern outdoor theme All rooms have coffee and fridges with a microwave and cooking griddles in the lounge kitchenAll of this true However, the absolute best attribute of the Brook Trout Inn is Jim, Julie and Lori Put this inn at the very top of your list! They made our stay so very special and memorable God willing, we will be back for sure!

The rooms are typical hotel rooms and are clean and simple Breakfast was fine albeit at 6:30 the coffee was somehow cold My flight arrived late the previous night and although must hotels were running shuttles late, this hotel was not

I called the hotel for advice numerous times and never got an answer I had to take a $30 cab ride to the hotel In the morning I waited for the airport shuttle only to find out you have to order a day ahead of time A ride was finally dispatch, but only after a very long wait and as I had just decided to walk the 08 miles to the terminal So in short, they really don’t have an airport shuttle despite the website saying they do and despite being named ‘Fairfield Inn – Airport”

First of all, the breakfast was amazing Like next level awesome However, anyone who gets a room here should know that there’s no mention of the “annex” and if you stay in the annex, it’s a cheaply built, cramped, old dusty motel

It is not a comfortable place to stay and I don’t think the breakfast makes up for it Any place should be at least comfortable, a comfortable bed, enough room to move around The cheap motel feel is disappointing considering the price The location is good But will never stay here again

My family evacuated our home in south Georgia during Hurricane Irma and found this treasure! My elderly 91 year old Dad took oxygen and on a walker Seeing he was unable to make the walk to the dining room the wonderful staff brought his meals to the room and later retrieved the dishes afterwards Beautiful place and excellent service

Hope to make it back very soon! Thank you all for such great southern hospitality!!

V.L. Cason

Historic charm completely surrounded us during our two night stay here Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the Inn at Brevard is an overnight that is not to be missed You can easily spend hours marveling at the incredible art collection throughout the entire building

There are numerous rooms of all types, dining areas, parlor rooms, patios, balconies, and even a full bar The staff is wonderful and very accommodatingtheir pride in this beautiful place shines through as they are more than happy to tell you all the history as well as give you a guided tour The food THE FOOD! Breakfast at 9 and oh my See the photo Menu changes but omelet and the works with it Fed for the day in my opinion Fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and more Delicious! They have a galley for the guests so when you want a nice cup of tea or coffee in the evening you can help yourself and retire to your roomAs this is a historic structure there is not an elevator as historic restrictions do not allow for ityou must be able to climb a dozen stairs The building is true to history and that is it’s charm

We stayed at the Greystone after New Years, so it was relatively quiet on the grounds Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and accommodating! The room was absolutely beautiful and we loved waking up to the views of the lake each morning The in room fireplace was wonderful for ambiance and keeping warm

We didn’t realize just how secluded the inn was (from grocery stores/other restaurants), but the food options on site satisfied us! We did travel to the neighboring towns for lunch and dinner a few days of our stay, just to get a variety in options Overall, we loved our stay and don’t have any complaints about the hotel/staff We would love to stay again during the summer and use some more of the amenities! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway! You can’t beat the views

Jennifer Sutton

My husband and I had our wedding at The Greystone Inn and it was absolutely perfect We rented out the entire Inn and our friends and family could not say enough nice things about the venue, staff and food David, the event manager at Greystone, went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and put my Type A mind at ease

He helped coordinate with local vendors and when our outdoor wedding had to be moved inside last minute due to 20 degree weather with 40+ MPH wind gusts, he and the staff pulled it together seemlessly We couldn’t be more pleased with how the weekend festivities went and are forever grateful to this amazing place for the wonderful memoriesEven if you aren’t hosting your wedding here, Greystone is a wonderful place to visit The scenery cannot be beat and staying here is like being in your own home, but elevated The food is delicious and the bar makes a fabulous Old Fashioned Ultimately, it’s the staff that make this Inn one of the best They will go to the ends of the Earth and back to make you feel welcome and at home We will plan to go back as often as we can

Ryan Quinton

My wife and I stayed here with our families after getting married in March, 2020 The staff were all great and the resort is a really relaxing place Sadly, our stay was cut a few days short after the government banned private enterprise because of Covid

Despite facing the stress and uncertainty that came with the government forcing their company to close, all the staff were extremely kind and did a great job making sure we weren’t left out in the cold We aren’t surprised The Greystone Inn survived considering the quality of the people who worked there and will definitely visit again some day

Kimberly was at the front desk when we checked in She was very friendly, helpful and informative We had some questions and she gave us great information

The room was clean, spacious and very convenient for our needs Breakfast was very good! All the staff was very nice & friendly The location ended up being perfect because we visited and hiked the Pisgah Forest! We will be staying again!! The only thing that needed a little improvement would be the door to the room (it was hard to get open)and the door in the bathroom ( it wouldn’t close all the way)
