My husband, daughter and I spent a week here We left the Whitehall Houston, a $200 a night hotel, after the 1st night because of the horrible room and service The rooms here cost less than half and were at least 3 times nicer! Has a full free breakfast every morning and a pool

The beds were very comfortable and rooms quiet The highlight of our stay here was the staff! We felt well cared for and welcomed All of the cleaning staff were extremely professional and friendly I can’t remember all their names, but thank you all Big shout out to our favorite brothersJacob and Marcus who worked the front desk and our new buddy Steve! They gave us great tips for food and activities near by We definitely plan on returning on my next visit

Michael Hollen

Loves this place Only issue is the breakfast service The lady that services breakfast reminds me of a school lunch lady that services you what she thinks you need

She also uses the same gloved hands to clean a table and serve you food I am a 40 year old person I can serve my own food and follow the health and safety codes better than the lady serving food Rooms are wonderful Staff is generally great Business around the area have weird hours but a little drive of less than five minutes will get you to what you are needingthe property has a gated parking lot

Kiamber Dyson

Don’t get me wrong ,nice hotel to stay for Great prices Could use some upgrades ! Tears in sheets and curtains Lots of paint peeling But Employees & services ? HORRIBLE! From the breakfast person to housekeeping and ESPECIALLY management was utterly rude

(TWO employees were nice and very helpful my entire stay) They didn’t not have a care in the world Asked the MANAGER for help or advise in a problem with my stay she stated “((laughs) I don’t have time )and proceeded to walk away ,IN FRONT OF OTHER CHECK IN GUEST Not once did they clean my room or even knock to see if I needed anything for that matter (Stayed a full week& no the sign was not on my door ) Explains the pricing though …

Nice hotel I’d say what made the experience best was the front desk lady,Laura EVERYTIME we came in she greeted us and smiled and was so helpful on helping us immediately if we needed anything or suggestion to a place to eat or visit

We met couple at the hotel and even they agreedI would suggest your other employees being more welcoming and helpful instead of sitting and not greeting with a smile & acting like they don’t want to be there

Aaron Kim

We stayed in this hotel for one week, and it was an unimpressive stayFirst, the service was honestly not the best We asked several times for more towels, toiletries, and other necessities that were not in our room initially

They said that they would deliver them up to our room, but they did not do so It was only after calling them three times in a single day that they finally gave them to us, and they seemed like they were annoyed with our requestsAlso, housekeeping was not done regularly We went in several times to find our room the exact same way that it was when we originally left, and we asked for why our room was not cleaned They said that we put up the do not disturb sign, which we never put up

Mike O

These Hotels are always great how ever at this location in Baytown, TX the service left something to be desiredWe asked the room to be cleaned by the night clerk Then the following morning just to confirm and finding out that we were not on the list to be cleaned

Then later that evening when we returned to the room we find that the shower and the bathroom was not cleaned That same morning I needed cups for coffee and asked the morning clerk And I thought I was ignored so I asked again Thinking she didn’t understand English I asked in Spanish and still was given a blank look Then she began to speak! She was literally having a phone conversation using her ear bud that were covered by her long hair!!

My hotel stay was magnificent from beginning to end The grounds, the entryway, hallways and especially the room and definitely the bathroom were immaculate Concierge was very friendly, helpful and informative upon arrival/departure

The breakfast was good and hot for the items that I chose to eat I would strongly recommend/suggest tnis hotel I will definitely be staying here again!!!

Chanise Pryor

After having a pretty rough travel day and being unable to leave the city when expected, we stayed at this locationThe staff is incredibly friendly and helpful Because I wasn’t expecting to stay in town overnight, I didn’t bring the basics, but this location supplied me with toothpaste, toothbrush, and deodorant

This location really upholds the Hilton standard! I travel quite a bit for work though this was a personal trip and I am very happy with my stay hereThe room was clean and updated The grounds were clean The breakfast was stocked with many choices I would definitely stay here again

Justin Wachowiacz

Hotel was nice Rooms/lobby look to be updated which is also a plus The only negative was that the gap between my room door and the floor was creating an unpleasant howling noise, so I had to place a towel on the ground to cancel it out

Could have been my room selection and the hallway breeze Regardless, 5 stars Houston locations along highways can be really noisy, and some Hilton locations can be run down, but this location was pleasant and quiet

Rooms were comfortable & spacey Beds cozy & ac cool Kitchenettes & lending locker is perfect

Not to many sketchy people near by Quiet enough for a good sleep and a good enough distance from the freeway, so no loud traffic Only thing is there was a girls long nail in our room when we checked in As well as a roach on our wall during our stay They could use some pride in their cleanliness That was very disappointing & disgusting!

Jeanne Primeaux

The lobby was very clean which was misleading because our room was not They do not serve breakfast or clean the room daily Only plus I have is the laundry was free and the front desk Staff was friendly

Room carpet was super sticky and when we left I found some kind of bug trap full of dead bugs under the bed Would not stay there again and don’t recommendI do not like leaving bad reviews but I feel like I needed to

Sabrina C

This hotel chain is my goto ever since I stayed at the one that use to be near Bush Always nice big rooms, good beds and bathrooms Has a stove and full size fridge with microwave

Tvs are a bit so so, you can hook hdmi and chromcast into them but are finicky on input selection This one in particular is located in a fairly meh area but there’s tons of food and shops well within a short drive

Surprising that no one has mentioned the low flow showers in reviews They are a nice, modern design, but flow restricted so plan ahead for time to rinse the shampoo from your hair It’ll take a while

In contrast, you could hose down an elephant with the water that blasts from the bathroom sink I would prefer a blast from the shower and trickle from the sink if I had to choose

Jonathan

The place was nice, the gym was clean bright and was nice equipment The pool was warm and open all night, love thatMy only complaint would be that the staff were very leery of my discount an sorta drilled down on me like I was on trial

Bella Suazo

Loved this TownePlace! We were traveling from FL to CA with 2 dogs They are very pet friendly! The room we stayed in was very spacious even with a large dog crate! Staff was very nice and helpful Can’t wait for our next trip to stay here

This was an alright hotel but is over priced for poor hospitality They don’t greet you when you come in the door It’s like you’re invisible

Some of the workers have slight attitudes as well The rooms are a nice size The room doors open all the way up, you have to really close the door The bathroom doors are kind of hard to close At midnight, you have to use the side doors for exit and entry It sticks because sometimes people be sitting out there and you can’t see them until you get up on the, therefore if anything was to happen, who will see it? You can get nicer rooms for a much better price and friendlier workers

brittany seeley

When I checked in, the computer was down and it took forever to check in I get to the room finally and it smells so bad I start checking the room and there is a GIANT roach in the bathtub

Mold on every cabinet and wood surface White powder ont he bottom of the cabinets Half of the lights were burned out and the one that did work flickered I go to the desk to move rooms and the manager is there by now and says my card was never charged They are trying to figure out how to charge me again even though I showed them that it took it off my account already I left and went to a different hotel that was cheaper and way nicer Still need to figure it how to get my money refunded

Donna Sims

Nice and clean Friendly staff at check in, didn’t meet the AM staff Breakfast was Ok

Found this place by accident Our Budget truck stop so this was the closest Days Inn Since college I’ve Been traveling for over 20 years from California to the East Coast; and this is the best Days Inn thus far! I can understand why we can’t bring food out the room, the food is not cheap at all! Customer Service…Awesome! Maintenance…

Awesome! We don’t eat pork but they have packaged breakfast sandwiches, breakfast corn dogs, muffins, buttery waffles, free coffee, OJ, cereal and more! Breakfast is from 6am-9am We love Days Inn and the price is a steal for what we are usually charge They charge almost half the price for what we got Wait! There’s more! Newly remodeled rooms with fridge, microwave, ironing board and beautiful painting over high priced beds Awesome shower and bath with newly marbled tiles My bed at home runs over 2,000, so trust us when we say that you will sleep well Thank God! No I’m not getting paid to write this review, I’m a real person that actually worked In the corporate world as professional quality grader in customer service I am also writing my forth book that will relate to customer service I have also some A commercial on bad customer service So enjoy your stay! They already have “-“Awesome” Reviews along with mine! So what was an accident became a “ram in the bush!” Content Faith (Flow)

The room was very nice and clean Only room complaint was that the shower head did not have a good setting on it to get strong water pressured shower Front desk employee was nice but I stayed at 7 hotels on my road trip and this check in took the most time and was the most complicated especially seeing that I had prepaid for my room

I would stay here again

Tommy Thurman

My husband and I have searched ALL over Houston for a quiet, safe, comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay We have FINALLY found it!! The owners and entire staff were so friendly and accommodating! I come to Houston every couple weeks to visit with my husband when he has time off work We have no need to continue searching for our “Home Away From Home”

We plan on staying exclusively here for as long as my husband’s job in Houston lasts! Beds are very comfortable, shower is beautiful, everything was sparkling clean and is close to several restaurants! What more do you need? Nothing!

Diana Gomez

I really liked this motel the rooms are really clean, the staff is amazing, their TV is awesome, theirs alot of places to eat near by, and the price is great I especially liked their wifi because it connected great with my playstation 4, I could even play online which is really rare to find in motels and hotels The staff are really kind and very attentive to anything that you need

The only thing I didn’t like was the low pressure water It’s enough to shower but it would be great if it had more water But besides that this motel is amazing I will definetly be coming back They also don’t allow pets or visitors

Run, don’t walk, away from this place The rooms are being “fixed” In 317, the 2 phones didn’t work, you have to slam the door 3 or 4 times then play with it to get it to lock, and the charging block for phones and laptops is broken When I finally asked to be moved, the answer was no

Not that they were busy, rightly so, but just no

The good: Front desk lady was very nice, room was clean and room look newly renovated For the price it’s a good dealThe bad: Pool was green on arrival, they had to shock it due to rain, and it was down most the weekend

They still advertise breakfast but still aren’t serving it due to covid even if their competitors are It’s possible that we just got unlucky The water temperature varies, and the pressure isn’t very goodTLDR: The place looks great and is good for the price point These guys are doing the big stuff right, but fall short on the little stuff, and sometimes it just adds up

Ivan Zuniga

Do not stay here Pool was closed they would not allow to cancel the expedia booking Arrive there and they have no breakfast

The front desk lady was talking over the phone while taking a long time to do the check in When she finally finishes We walk all the way to our room just to find out that the keys or the lock did not work Went all the way back to the front desk and they want to move us to another room When I ask if the ac works Because I don’t want to walk all the way back to another room just to find it is not working And the front desk Karen starts recording me and walks close to me hitting my phone and starts telling us that we could not stay there When we record her she starts threatening about calling the cops Stay away of these place

Booked two rooms over a weekend, and traveled a couple hundred miles to stay 2 hours before check in I get an email that they’ve canceled the reservations When I called to ask about the email, they state they tried to call and when I didn’t answer, they cancel the room

They don’t send an email to confirm, simply an email to say it’s canceled They insult your intelligence and state that times have changed, and if you don’t answer the phone for confirmation they give your room to someone else In 40 years and thousands of nights in hotel rooms, I have never experienced such I had no missed phone calls And then they try to say “you must have put in a wrong phone number That’s your mistake” Room was reserved and held with a credit cardWith a cancelation policy that if you don’t show up, they charge your card What is the point of having that policy if you don’t adhere to it? So needless to say, we are now stuck a long way from home with no room bevmcause their written check in policy is worthless I should have read all the other negative reviews and skipped on past this hotel I guess if you take the risk, be warned that they will say they call when they really don’t and you’ll be stuck with nowhere to stay Oh, and I might add, after being told on the phone that they had no rooms available, I checked online and there were rooms available So they obviously don’t want or need anyone’s business
