My husband and I stayed here after a concert at Nationals Park You can’t beat the location if that’s your destination, BTW We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in the Hilton group over the years, and this is easily the nicest Hampton Inn we’ve ever visited

The room was beautiful, and very comfotable and clean The use of space is smart and interesting We had tons of towels, and plenty of super hot water The staff was great– we were able to check in early despite the intense rush Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inn offerings, but it was well done, with plenty of gluten free options for me Obviously the hotel is working with space constraints when it comes to parking and seating in the lobby for breakfast– but it’s in the middle of the city, what can you expect? We were able to find on street parking directly across the street from the lobby, and it ended up being more affordable than valet service All in all, this was an excellent experience and we enjoyed it very much

Serene Says

Better than I expected Rooms were spacious and clean Get a room with the stadium view

Excellent views! Quiet atmosphere and cozy feel Staff was all friendly and welcomingBreakfast was average, plentiful Parking was $55/night plus tax with valet only There’s a lot right across the street that was MUCH cheaper and very accessible Use it! Pic of the parking lot from my floor is attached to this review The rooftop bar and grille were only worth visiting if you want to take in the nice views and chill atmosphere The food was HORRIBLE It was like eating microwaved elementary school lunchables! The drinks were extremely watered down There are plenty of restaurants right next to the hotel to eat at Don’t waste your time or money there The restaurant is the sole reason I gave this location 4 stars

Eugene Mosley

This place is a wonderful location The Customer Service at the Front Desk were so Kind & Helpful Especially Neutral & the other Lady that was working doing my check in & out! I apologize for not remembering her Name🤯

So Caring & HelpfulThe Guy who was the Sunday morning as I checked out was a 3 out of 10 He’s disposition was very unprofessional! I asked about retrieving our cars from valet and his tone was as if I didn’t understand what he was saying I didn’t like him and hope to never have to deal again at any Hilton property! Thanks again Hilton for an Amazing Stay💎

I visited this location for a conference The entry way is contemporary and the decor quickly creates a visually stimulating atmosphere There are ample places to sit and gather, talk, relax, or have a bite to eat

There are various areas to also work or take a phone call in the lobby areas and areas that are in each floor The conference area is easily accessible and is multifaceted in it’s design The staff is quite amazing for assistance I can’t say enough about this as I was a sighted person attending a conference for the American Federation of the Blind leadership Conference The entire organization ensured everything was accessible for attendees and guide dogs They were stellar in their customer service and hospitality with this situation

Val Jones

Very clean and modern rooms Fridges are in the rooms which is always a wonderful thing I love the lighting in the room! Everything is fresh and vibrant! I think the bathroom is a tad small but it has an industrial look so it’s sort of gets away with it

Also it has an Ethernet plug!!! Always a good thing!!! Overall I really enjoy this hotel great customer service and great design! And nice views from the 14th floor

Tonya Walker

My stay has always be amazing! Hotel is close to everything you need and surrounding areas– National Harbor, mall, monument

etc The front desk, security, other staff and valet attendants treat you with respect with great member service My recent stay was June 29- July 1st and it was superb I had a personal, unexpected situation on my behalf and Irene was able to come up and help assist me (in which she did not have to) She checked on me throughout my stay and gave me the most sweetest and genuine wisdom there and at my car during my departure I did not get the valet attendants names but they went beyond my expectations Late night room service (delicious, and flavorful), pool, restaurant inside hotel and near and other hotel amenities are a Plus! I always refer others to stay here Keep doing a terrific job, and providing superb service to your guests You have a loyal member/guest from me and my family Blessings to you all😊❤ See you soon!!

Pros:The breakfast provided was niceI had a studio room which was nice and large/comfyAbout 10 minutes from the Dock and King streetCons:1)The walls were thin (ceiling and room to room walls)2) Several of the outlets in the room did not work3)The employees are rude (Other reviews said this, but I figured it couldn’t be that bad well I was wrong)-They did not explain the amenities-When I asked about additional charges, my questions were dismissed/ disregarded So make sure you are watching the charges they place on your card! It was more than just a hold charge-When I asked for a receipt, the front desk employee waved his hand in my face basically telling me to leave4)The parking is $32 per night (with in and out privileges), but the garage is creepy and looks like what you would see in a thriller movie where you’d get put in the trunk of a car The spaces are VERY tight and limited spaces

No other options around the hotel for parking except one where you have to pay each time you enter

Leland

Not well managed property Staff is slow and provides poor service Marriott needs to intervene

The gym has a sewer pipe leaking into a bucket splashing around for months Poor air flow in the rooms, the air conditioning unit doesn’t seem to come close to the setting and they allow pets so I find my breathing suffers here, I suppose from allergies The beds are a bit worn They replaced my towels and a large curly black hair was presented right on the front of the wash cloth, how niceThe breakfast is lame and unhealthy – all sugar and carbsThe gym is well equipped with weights which is really the only reason I have returned here but the plumbing leak I saw 3 months ago will keep me from coming back

Douglas Black

The good: fairly nice room with enough space and furniture for most needs Good location for Alexandria Breakfast is decent

The bad: they charge 32 dollars a night for parking Rooms are quite humid Wi-Fi is unsecured Hotel doesn’t allow legal firearms, so feels insecure

Came for casino experience only as part of a birthday getaway The GPS directions were a little weird but got us there Valet parking was prompt & only steps away from the casino entrance

We were carded & then on our way The atmosphere was lively for early Friday evening, drinks were plentiful, staff was pleasant & helpful, bathrooms were spotless My girlfriend plays the tables, blackjack & war, while I hit the slots & then joined her later for a $25 minimum war table The slots were stingy but I managed to hit enough to break even The tables were about the same, but eventually hit a streak at war & walked away several hundred on the plus side Some of the dealers seemed new, but no issues Masks were optional & social distancing wasn’t observed I was thrilled to find this casino is smoke-free! I would return here for sure

Jamila Abdulkadir

This is where I come to when I wanna feel luxurious! 😝 It’s a great spot to spend the day with family Lots of nice restaurants and bars at night 🍹🍸I really like the decorative themes they have close to the Casino 🎰 area and next to one of my favorite restaurants, Ginger

🍲There’s also lots of outdoor space to just enjoy the view of the national harbor area 🎡

Christina Grimes

So I can only speak on the Casino and the hotel lobby Security was pleasant upon entering I love a casino with a signature scent in the air

The Casino is pretty large with a nice variety of machines I only wish I saw more drink servers, I sat in a section for at least 30 minutes and did not see a serverThe lobby was beautiful, I enjoyed the installation Will definitely come back to play and hopefully stay next time

I love staying at the Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town when I’m in town for business The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful I really appreciate the free breakfast – it’s a great way to start the day and catch up on work

And the location is perfect – right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Alexandria!Rooms are spacious and generally well-equipped Very quiet in the room — couldn’t hear anything from anywhere else in the hotel, which was nice Very clean as well!

Ruth Hartgen

I was so impressed with this hotel and felt compelled to write a review Specifically, I wanted to give a big ‘thank you!’ to Pam at the front desk When my husband and I were checking in for our stay, she was actually done with her shift and about to leave, but she graciously stayed and helped us check in

It’s getting harder and harder to find examples of great customer service but Pam really stood out She has a great sense of humor and was very personable The hotel itself was very clean and the lobby market (with food/snacks/drinks) was well stocked This will be my go-to hotel in Old Town!

Scot Sample

The staff is truly the best! I can not say how friendly and great they were to deal with Pam at the front counter went above and beyond helping me extend my stay During breakfast be ready to have at least 5 people working there telling you good morning

Breakfast was hot and usually the same every morning The room was great, never heard anyone above or next to us The location was great, easy walk to the metro and trolley

Perfectly off I-95 south making it easy to get back on the high way Very quiet and very clean After an incredibly long day it was nice to be checked in quickly and efficiently even for the late hour I was doing so

All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful The room was spotless and the bed was as amazing as the omelette bar downstairs that was available during the complimentary breakfast I will always recommend staying here

diane eliezer

This is the nicest Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in, bar none Impeccably clean, large bathrooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk The free hot breakfast features an omelet bar, and the free drinks from 5:30 – 7:30 each evening is a welcome tradition

We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a great French Dip sandwich with sirloin and a Caesar Salad with about 8 oz of hotgrilled salmon, plus sides and drinks for under $4500 I would recommend this hotel to everybody The only “downsides” are (1) it’s incredibly convenient to DC /all tourist areas BUT there is nothing close by except a Wendy’s (2) the lighting in the rooms is absolutely awful, just plain DARK and (3) $10 per night to park Other than that, I’ll continue to make this my go-to hotel in VA/DC

Angelo Cruz

Quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From booking online to arriving, I was treated with respect and as a true guest In a post-covered world where we’re all putting the pieces back together, it is great to see this establishment really taking care of people and making them feel at home I have to really applaud Sabrina and Alex at the front desk

Nothing beats a stay at the Hilton and Embassy knocks that right out of the park!

I stayed here for 3 nights, most of the nights were good We got a corner room that was very clean We asked for extra shampoo and conditioner and the staff gave us 9 bottles! 😂 Everything was good, except for on our last night there was a party on the floor above us and people were smoking weed

They were asking kids if they wanted to “join the party” The adults were running around the halls and waking people up, including me Eventually security was called and as far as I know they were arrested There should have been a better way to handle this

I should have read reviewsPros: It’s really close to an amazing Thai restaurant and Harris Teeter It’s walkable to the Potomac River and a park

Location is perfect for travelers It has good AC and the bed and pillows are comfy The staff were really friendlyCons: There is no early check-in, so when you get there, there is a line out the door and it takes nearly 30 minutes to check-in One of the elevators was broken, so it took forever to get to the room This hotel also doesn’t have anything included (the free wifi is really slow) Parking is $32 a night, water bottles left in the room aren’t free There is no microwave…NO MICROWAVE The coffee isn’t very good in the room The showers don’t drain well Customer service wasn’t helpful I called multiple times to confirm that the location I stayed at had a pool and both times the person I spoke to verified it did One part of the website also said there was a pool, or I misread…The specific room details said that a pool wasn’t an included amenity but photos of the location and calls to the hotel said otherwise When you call, you apparently don’t get people at the location

Nice hotel with a lot of inconveniences The room are great; goof climate control, comfortable bed, and quality towels, etc The problem is that the hotel is not set up for a normal traveler

It is a convention center primarily so if the event is co-located at the hotel, it’s great If you’re visiting DC and want to stay here for the nearby restaurants and easy access to the Maryland side, go elsewhere First of all, checking in is a process It took me probably 30 minutes to get to my room even though I had made a reservation There are long waiting lines at the check-in desk, and even though I’m an elite member, there was only one employee handling the check in Even after check-in, the hotel layout is so confusing it took me a minute just to find the elevators Second was the parking garage; it is a hike to get to and very expensive Third was the “resort fee” This is a sneaky way to charge you $22 more a day for your stay They say it includes dry cleaning and some other things but its a poor facade for an excuse to nickle and dime the guests–if I want dry cleaning, I’ll pay for it separately I was originally planning on staying there for an entire week, but decided to check out on the second dayI was excited to stay at this top rated hotel due to its location and surrounding amenities, but I’ll never be staying there again

David Blumberg

Loved this place! We stayed in their upgraded Suite and it was fantastic Well appointed, shower pressure was strong, loved it! Beautiful building Only minus was the loud laser show in the evening which was really annoying from our room…… also the Pool leaves a lot to be desired

The floor of the pool is terrible!!! Rough surface like unfinished concrete People – GET IT RESURFACED SMOOTHLY!! It’s only a bit over 3 feet deep so very shallow for a real pool

Great water pressure and instantly hot water Best hotel gym I’ve used Good housekeeping, though sometimes forgot to refill coffee pods Microwave and fridge provided at request were very worn; fridge was warmer than 40 degrees F and microwave panel was detaching but worked Unbeatable location adjacent to metro stop, mall, and restaurants; 10 minute walk to grocery stores and 15-20 minute walk to Pentagon Overall great stay and would definitely stay again

I have been coming here for years If you choose this place you won’t be disappointedExcellent location and service Rooms can be a little dated and though everyone loves an Honor Bar option, everyone also would appreciate some refrigerator space for their own things The mall and metro proximity with a three stop proximity to city center make this an excellent choice

My husband & I planned a weekend getaway and stayed at Ritz Carlton (Arlington, VA) on January 9-10, 2022 We had the most phenomenal experience! The cleanliness, the staff, the high floor room, and the Mediterranean restaurant, Santé was simply mind blowing! The location was also perfect! The hotel was connected to the Fashion Center it made it quite convenient for us to enter / exit the mall via the hotel I will definitely plan a trip to stay at the same place & book the same room again

Loved every bit of it! ♥️

We stayed for 6 days at this hotel May 18/23 and we loved everything from our stay! The hotel was safe, clean and had great breakfast variety! Yes, they have paper plates but unless you want to help wash a dish due to staffing shortagestop complaining! The breakfast and front desk staff were wonderful and very polite

Rooms where clean and we will definitely stay there again plusmetro is right across the street, tons of food and fun places around Didn’t use the pool, so can’t review that

Came into town for a last minute passport need This hotel is not only conveniently located and reasonably priced, it is top notch clean and accommodating Staff is 5 star terrific all hours of the day

Bar in the lobby, lounge on the second floor, pool, nice suites with pull it beds big enough for 2 kids I could go on and on A fantastic stay, which certainly helped with the woes of having to deal with the passport agency( they were super nice too, just a long line) loved it, I’ll be back every time I am in DC

Angela Richards

Before I say anything negative about our stay I absolutely have to start by saying the staff is beyond compare From the desk attendants to the valet staff everyone was so wonderfully helpful and super friendly Their claim to any good ratings has to start with these employees & I hope management pays them accordingly

But we need to talk about the beds I’m sure bed firmness preference is one of those things where you can never please everyone but I can’t believe these beds are pleasing even the majority This firmness of these things are one step up from sleeping on the floor & the linens are papery We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but after speaking with some other guests in the hotel & their confirmation about the mattress situation we checked out early since it appeared all the mattresses were going to be like this My back is killing me and I won’t be able to make it 2 more nights Upgrade everything about the bedding and this place would be a great find

I rarely write reviews but my husband and I just had a wonderful stay at the Lorien We only did 1 night but we wish we could have stayed longer The hotel was immaculate

The room was spacious, updated and clean Extremely comfortable We travel often btwn TX and NJ and this is a great , convenient pit stop I should also add that we are traveling with our dog and it’s a perfect walkable neighborhood

Cosette Livas

It was a bit overrated They charge for EVERYTHING, and really you can’t tell why For a Spa the TOWELS in the room were rough, the beds are NOT Queens they are Doubles, they only have double beds at the elevator and in adjoining rooms, I have request for neither and could not be accommodated

There were some staff that were very helpful and provided extras when asked, but for what we were paying we really shouldn’t have had to ask for enough towels etcThe location is great especially if weather it goodIf you Valet, look behind you if you don’t see him, they sitting in their car? (crazy) but they were able to get car to you when neededThe BEST part was the restaurant that is connected We did dinner thereTOP NOTCH, PRICEY BUT I WILL SAY WORTH IT The Mussels and the pastayummy David was the best waiter ever and we did see the value thereA friend recommended this place and he admitting stayed there years ago, he loved itbut when we told him our experiences, he said obviously they had changed management or ownershipWe even heard them charging a person for Early check in, the person walked up and said she was there, if room was available great, but if not she just wanted to leave info at desk for when ready, she was in a conference there the girl proceeded to check her in, says room is available and then addsthat will be 4500 early check in the guest was like wait, what, I said I would waitit’s crazy sneaky stuff like that, that really not goodOh and the Happy Hour wineis Woodbridgecome on give me something for the 2500 FEE you’ve tacked on

This review would have had more stars but upon check in the glasses in the room were very dirty Additionally when my boyfriend woke up the next morning we found a used condom by the side of the bed Totally unacceptable

The operations manager did call to explain how this is not up to standard etc which I did appreciate but just sucks It was my birthday and not how I wanted to spend the day Ended up checking out Unfortunate situation If you stay here please check the cleanliness of your rooms Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant Wish I had a better overall experience

My husband and I recently stayed a night to celebrate our wedding night The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and sanitized but i was extremely shocked by the lack of amenities at this hotel There was no microwave in the room

There was no room service No breakfast the next morning They did not validate parking I think I was expecting a little more from a hotel of such quality It was nice for a quick staycation but i probably won’t stay here again

Marcus Douglas

Good hotel within walking distance of everything in National Harbor area It’s clean, the prices are decent, and the bar and breakfast are goodThe design of the room was a bit ‘industrial’ for my taste – very bare bones, lots of hard surfaces, not very inviting

But the bed was soft and ultimately got the job doneDuring the week I stayed, only one elevator was working and it was incredibly slow Also, on Friday night some guests were partying in the hallways all night, until 4am/5am

Steve Hudson

Great hotel Beds were excellent! Wonderful pillows Central location, views and cold air conditioning

A little disappointed that you had to pay $24 a day for a parking garage and that breakfast was not included Easy walking distance to shopping, dinner, waterfront views Overall, would definitely recommend them as consideration for a place to stay

This hotel was amazing! My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we truly enjoyed this hotel Check-in was pretty quick Continental breakfast was available every morning

Food was pretty good Rooms were amazing! I had 3 King Suites (2 bedrooms) and all three were spotless Great location right across from the Metro station Also, there was a 2 hour reception every night that included 2 free drinks per person per day Very thoughtful! Lima was amazing, and even gifted a later check-out time due to traffic My only complaint was parking, but that was to be expected

Becky Coxson

Cocktail hour was great Room clean and comfy Staff very nice

Would have given 5 stars if trash cans in elevators has not been overflowing onto floor If you don’t have staff to empty cans don’t put them out Also have to ask if you want clean towels or room trash emptiedBreakfast buffet was well maintained

Justin S

Great stay over the 4th of July weekend! Although the hotel was very busy, they were extremely attentive to any need we had! Great included breakfast! They went the extra mile and reached out to offer a late checkout on our departure day…which helped us out immensely Great location to the train as well! Will stay again when visiting DC

The staff are friendly and well-mannered My room was on the top floor and was spacious, clean, and comfy The high ceiling had an automated sun-shade, but it didn’t work at the time so that was a bummer

Check-in and check-out were a breeze I would stay again for sure My only nitpick is the parking It’s a little tight depending on where you park

Dale Nelson

I hope the staff reads this, thank you, thank you, thank you for everything the week I stayed here I arrived on a red eye at 8am and they made accommodations to get a room ready so I could get some sleep before my event I was attending at 4pmThe room was excellent and comfortable, the AC worked great! The TV and internet were excellent, the hotel was clean and the bed was perfect! The staff was always professional and an amazing help! Very approachable and easy to talk to

Thanks for everything!

As much as I would like to leave a good review, I cannot Check-in was quick and easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was super nice He presented us with our room key, and we proceeded to our room

When entering the room it was extremely hot, as if the heat was on; though it was not My sister started to spray everything down with Lysol (seeing as though COVID is still going) and noticed that there were specks or dirt on her bed along with strands of hair We made our way back to the front desk where we spoke with a young lady who was there with the gentleman who initially checked us in We explained our issue, and she swapped us to another room My sister and I made our way to our new room (327), where we entered and started to check everything out I was highly disappointed Between the stains on my pillows, my bed skirt, and then the coffee pot, and ice bucket being in the bathroom; I was ready to leave!!!! I called down to the front desk spoke to the young lady (not sure if it was the same young lady who moved us already or not) and was told that there were no more rooms available I hung up and called nine other hotels that were in the area No one had any rooms available, as we were told that there was a college graduation that had all their rooms booked My sister and I went downstairs and asked for extra towels and sheets so that we could try to figure something out A gentleman brought some up, and my sister helped me change the sheets on my bed I placed the pillows on the floor and just used the towels as something to lay my head on when sleeping I stay at plenty of Marriotts throughout the country, but being at this Marriott was very uncomfortable, and I just wasn’t happy with cleanliness of the rooms at all It’s not at all how I expected to spend my Mother’s Day weekend, that my children and niece planned for my sister and I I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all

We had a great experience staying at the Best Western Hotel The staff was courteous and the entire hotel appeared remodeled and modern The rooms were clean

The location was safe and just 20 minutes from DC and Alexandria The hotel also included a hot buffet as a part of the tariff Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, cereals, pancakes, waffles, donuts, muffins, juice, a variety of coffees, tea etc A lot of choice Several restaurants are within driving distance from the hotel The hotel manager Marcus Reid was kind and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable During the breakfast my wife lost/dropped her phone/wallet which also included cards and cash The breakfast room staff was honest and kept it aside This was our first trip post covid and we couldn’t have selected a better place to stay

Well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, big TV with good choice of channelsThe toiletries are a bit stingy, the elevators on the slow side The on-site restaurant served good food but service suffered when dealing with large groups

The breakfast buffet had good selection of items with attentive service Buy your beer and drinks at the local CVS not the overpriced convenience shop A very handy 15 minute shuttle ride to Reagan Airport

Adeline Rudolph

The good:Attractive, well-appointed hotel, 1/3 mile to the metro Parking avail on-site for $40 per night you stay (which is pricey for the area) Beds pretty comfy

Safe part of town, close in (Busy) Starbucks onsiteWe stayed three nightsNot so good:1) they start knocking on doors to clean rooms about 6:20-6:30am I even heard the cleaning staff joking, “well, I’m trying but everyone is still asleep” Vacuum noise an hour before you planned to wake up isn’t great2) the a/c is odd, controls are on wall, though it seems like they’d be on unit Unit is loud and makes room fluctuate in wide range all night between very warm to very cold3) room was cleaned well, but odd issues like there was a brown stain on our shower curtain, rusty shower drain, a hinge on hallway door had thick paint melting off or maybe mold?4) shower head is lower, just at my hairline and I’m 5’8 No conditioner or body wash provided Just soap and shampoo5) driving here from the north is tricky, the 395 exit to Clark Street is a very poorly designed intersection so be carefulI’d likely stay again if the price were right Though I think I may find somewhere with cheaper parking (many in the city had $25/day)

Karimah J

The only good thing about this hotel is the location Other than that it’s outdated and not as clean as it should be I wiped everything down upon arrival and the handles were dirty on the dresser

Parking is also an outrageous priceOn top of that, I received a charge on my card from the gift shop I never visited When I called about it they had another cc linked to my account A manager was supposed to reach out but never didWhen I checked my statement a few days after that, they charged my card $400+!! I called and spoke to someone in accounting and he couldn’t figure out what the charges were Mind you, I checked out of this hotel May 1st and spoke to accounting May 4 & 6I check my statement today May 9, and have another $400+ charge to my cc that was charged Sat May7I’m disputing everything with my bank and I recommend everyone to check your cc statements after checkout Someone who works there is definitely doing something shady

Great place to stay in Washington The staff is EXCEEDINGLY helpful and kind to travelers! The breakfast is great

a bit pricey but remember where you’re at this hotel is very close to the mall, the Metro, and all sights you want to see The taxi service in DC is wonderful and the drivers are kind We attended a conference at the Hilton and the serving staff is amazing and professional The room service is well organized and prompt When you call the front desk to ask questions they want to help you every time Next time I’m traveling individually in Washington this Hilton will be my destination Thank you for a GREAT experience and for your thoughtful and kind staff

I wanted to give special thanks to this hotel for taking care of my folks over the fourth of July weekend I had four family members fly in from California, and they chose to stay here because of its proximity to our house and the city Firstly,

the rooms themselves are very spacious, and the amenities were super awesome! My family mentioned that the staff here really went out of their way to make their stay special Even my own interactions with some of the employees were always great The thing that we liked best about the hotel was its location There is a mall just a short elevator ride down to the lower level, and they have a food court and several major retailers Whats more, the metro station is located right downstairs, so we were all able to travel downtown to see the fireworks without the hassle of driving or searching for parking My people will for sure choose this hotel again the next time they come to visit us

Sarah Beets

Great location right next to the metro Easy access to shops like 7/11 and iHop We had an issue with our room where there was a dripping sound all through the night but when we alerted the staff they got someone in to look into it right away and when they couldn’t fix us they promptly moved us to a new room

Great place for a family and the coffee was great which always helps Will definitely stay again!
