This is my favorite hotel so far in Huntsville They have all the amenities I like in the room – even a full kitchenette- only things missing are a safe and a magnification mirror It’s close to so many things to walk to – lots of restaurants and parks

A grocery store on the opposite side, a nice pool The reception staff is nice and parking is easy It feels very safe and it’s super clean around there They have hot coffee and tea 24/7, which is great when you’re traveling for work and you get up super early The room was clean and comfortable and I’ll be back again

The location and the rooms are nice This time I selected a studio room and was impressed The “Pack and Play” I requested was already in the room when I arrived

The staff are always pleasant and the hotel looks cleansI really like the staff Bryan He is always respectful and addresses and questions I have I typically travel with my family and when I request items, Bryan quickly responds and takes care of it without hesitation or complaintI recommend this hotel and this is where my family and I stay whenever I visit Huntsville

For an expensive hotel offering a place for the homeless and the rooms have steadily gone downhill Breakfast- unless you eat something packaged and check dates ,could be hazardous to your health Ants crawling over toaster and ring of syrup on counter

We had a big group in there for 3 nights and were there last summer No way will any of us return I could write a book of the unbelievable things going on at this hotel We all paid $260 a nite but then we also shared pizza and alcohol to the desk help to have lights put on in lobby at 7pm so we could all eat together with food and drink brought in???!!!!

Love love love our stay at Hampton It was nice to be welcomed to the facility Being back in Huntsville was nice

I moved in 2018 Next time I’m there will definitely come back, hopefully I can have breakfast during the stay Missed out on this trip due to long road trip ahead Accessible room was Awesome My mom enjoyed the roll in shower Highly Recommend this hotel it’s down the street from Bridge Street where the shops and restaurants are Thanks Hampton Inn

We stayed here 4 days while going to the Space museumPros: great location- you are only 5 minutes away from the Space Museum and plenty of restaurants Hotel room was what you would expect- everything was clean, bed was comfy

Very average The pool area is nice and there was plenty of pool towels each day Sitting area outside with fire pit was very nice Great views If you get a room on the back of the hotel Everyone was friendlyCons: the breakfast was horrible They served the same thing every single day! Sausage basically 4 different ways The cereal options never changed and by the end of our stay there was no fruit or hot chocolate left We are pretty laid back and easy to please but by the end of our stay I was very disappointed I would recommend maybe having more breakfast options and taking more pride in the appearance of your dinning area We sat at the same spot every morning and you could tell it wasn’t getting cleaned The base of the table was dirty with the same dried food/jelly stains on it every day The carpet/furniture was stained and no one wiped down anything that I saw in between people sitting at tablesWe stay at a lot of Hampton Inns due to being part of the Hilton rewards program and this by far is one of the worst ones I’ve ever stayed at Overall, I do not recommend this place and we will not be back 😔

Rooms were clean – except for the floors No bedbugs were found Beds and pillows are small

Front desk was helpfulEntrance to the hotel is easy to missThe cleaning people hustle here Be sure to leave a tag on the door in the morning until you are ready to leave Otherwise, they are there to get things done whether you are ready or notWould I stay here again? This hotel is run down and dirty The photos are completely deceiving Cleaning service is only by request the day before and they don’t do a full service, or at least they didn’t when they came to my room

They took the trash and changed my sheets, but they did not vacuum or take my used towels from behind my door Trash is piling up in the hallways (See attached photos) Breakfast options are hit or miss because they seem to run out of food The coffee station is always messy too Not sure if they are understaffed, but they really need to do something about itThe hotel is quiet; the staff is nice and I do feel safe while I have been here for work for my two-week stay The laundry machines worked well and were clean However, for the price I am paying, I think there are probably better/cleaner options in the area If I come back to Huntsville, I won’t be staying here again PS – There is NO bar at this location Maybe there once was or they used photos from a different location Again – DECEIVING

Coco Fernandez

Love the kitchenette you can cook what ever and it has a full size refrigerator If you are staying more than 3 days is worthwhile The hotel it self, needs some TLC ( halls carpet, pool serv, laundry room) it only has 1 laundry room for the whole hotel with 3 washers and 3 dryers 😞

And it’s always busy The gym is quite small but always available Only couple of restaurants around Everything is 15 minutes away in car

Kate Taylor

I was actually really impressed Some of the reviews about the cleanliness scared me but having six people in our family there are not many options as far as hotels in the area that can accommodate that We went ahead and reserved a room here and I was very impressed

The two bedroom suites was perfect for us are two bigs and are two littles It’s conveniently located And the staff were very nice I would definitely stay here again

Caro

Everything was pleasant and clean The breakfast was buffet was amazing with vegetarian and gluten free options with a dash of friendliness from the kitchen staff The room was particularly comfortable and extremely clean

Very quiet hotel maybe due to the residential area The room doors are quite heavy for a child or smaller person (to know in case of emergency) Loved the bathroom toiletries The mini mart was also well stocked New favorite in town!

lydia caddell

Very nice hotel, my husband and I have been to quite a few hotels here in Huntsville/Madison area and this hotel is by far the best From the housekeeping to the breakfast staff it was very pleasant I really loved the fact that when I walked off the elevator on the third floor on my way to our room it smelled like cleaning products 😊Then I walked in our room and it smelled very clean most other hotels have a very musty/mildew smell and I can’t stand that, Holiday Inn y’all get an A+ for that

Many choices for breakfast, it was hot food and very tasty My coffee wasn’t hot enough for me and one of the breakfast attendants got me a hotter cup for the kitchen coffee machine I really appreciated that You all do hospitality very well and I hope you all keep up the good work

Beth H

I definitely recommend staying at this hotel While some hotels hire anyone off the street, this Holiday Inn Express employs professional adults who are focused on customer service For example, the breakfast area was staffed by two women (both have the first name of Betty) that kept the buffet well stocked

When the pancake machine broke down one morning, a Betty told two waiting hotel guests that she would bring pancakes to their table after she fixed the machine Nowadays at other hotels, a breakfast employee would just leave the pancake machine brokenFront desk employee Shalonda was friendly and informative when she checked me in She also made sure that my room was to my satisfactionThe hotel was quiet during my stay The room doors are heavy and they seem to help block any noise from other hotel guests in the hallway The bathrooms are more spacious than the typical bathrooms at a different hotel chain (the hotel chain that lets you pick a specific room number in their app) And this Holiday Inn Express stocks the bathrooms with Dove soap bars instead of a cheap, generic hotel soap bar Oh, and the TV has the most channels that I have ever seen in a hotel room It just goes to show that while other hotels are cheapening out on amenities, this hotel is still focused on the customer

Nice hotel to stay in the area We were there in July of 2021 The grounds were beautiful, and with easy access to the Town Center outdoor mall that has a variety of food options

I don’t think you can beat the location Also easy and free parking I was pulling our 20′ cargo trailer, and was able to find plenty of spaces in the back to park my setupThe room itself is nice, nothing negative to mention I think my only comment would be that breakfast service was extremely slow for the number of people in there Even getting the bill at the end took an inordinate amount of time It didn’t seem delayed due to how busy they were, more like inattentiveness I wouldn’t normally note this unless there was something off about it, thus the reason for deducting one starHaving said all of that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Eric Workman

The experience has been so relaxing and wonderful The hotel staff from Ms Emily in the front desk to Ms

Angelica in the food department have all been so professional, kind and very reliable Any issue that has come up has quickly been resolved by them with no issues The rooms have been clean and smelling quite nice I would highly recommend

Michele Prichard

Vinny and Jesse are the best! They took care of my needs despite the busy check in and challenges in parking They anticipated my needs and provided excellent customer service Working together all the staff navigated a busy crowd

I appreciate their attention to detail and exceeding expectations I look forward to my next excellent Marriott stay!

After a long drive down from Palatine, IL, on January 1, 2022, we had a tornado warning while staying at this Hampton Inn & Suites The young lady working the desk (Kaitlyn) was just outstanding in gathering all the guests into a safe location It was a smooth transition that lasted less than an hour

She brought out treats/snacks and most of the guests all shared something fun about their trip Kaitlyn did a great job and the hotel was just awesome in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and quiet after the all clear was given Sorry this took so long to post but came home to heart & cancer issues Dr Bob & Family

My company has stayed there while in town for a few weeks starting in December till now I can’t say enough about the staff and the quality of the entire stay! Christie was so kind and welcoming at the front desk The breakfast staff ( LaTisha, Emily, and the cook) were so kind and helpful and Kevin made my day brighter! Trust me, If you want or need to stay in Huntsville, this is your place

It was perfect for us to work and relax during our stay I will be back for business and for pleasure Thank you Hilton Garden/ Space Center for being amazing and blessing us!

UPDATE #2: I received an email from the asst manager detailing the fixes maintenance made, the conversation with housekeeping regarding linens in the room and her conversation regarding expectations with her evening staff It is clear they take comments very seriouslyUPDATE: I spoke w/ the asst manager at checkout and she was very helpful

She took my concerns seriously and assured me maintenance and housekeeping would address the issues with the room and she would also address the evening worker (she asked me for the approximate time to check the security video)The front desk person left so much to be desired She had no personality, but every time we asked a question, she seemed so inconvenienced Asking for towels for the pool was met with heavy sighs and eye rolls We called down for more towels, the phone went unanswered I went down to the desk to find no one working, but a few people waiting to check in I looked around for nearly 10 minutes and finally had to ask the bartender and interrupt his conversations with a few regulars at the bar (he basically ignored me until I spoke over the other guests) and told him we could use help He was able to get me towels, but was not able to check anyone in As I headed to the elevator, I saw the desk worker coming back in the building with her purseThe duvet cover on one of our beds was stained The faucet in the tub/shower is too loose and randomly falls to scalding hotThis was probably my worst experience at a Hilton hotel

Heather McClure

Rooms were alright Could use some updating The bed was uncomfortable but that’s a personal preference

The shower was a little off but tolerable Staff was amazing Breakfast was really good when we had it The location to downtown Hunstville is ideal and it still feels tucked away The hallways were blistering hot Which was weird But overall the cleanliness was good and the pool was beautiful Lobby very nice and outside around the pool was very posh and relaxed

I have stayed in a few hotels in this area So far this is the best so far The parking lot very well lit up when I came in at almost 11 pm

The hotel was clean and didn’t smell of cigarettes Room was clean at check in I came back after working all day to a clean room and fresh towels The room smells fresh and the AC was just as I left it Staff was very accommodating and friendly The past experiences I’ve had in the area were terrible! This stay was quite refreshing The gym was closed for service which was okay It looked as they were in the middle of servicing the equipment I will definitely stay here the next time I’m here working

M Smith

I used to stay at this hotel under previous ownership And it was a basic two star hotel with no problems or issues I also typically do not post negative comments

I simply choose not to go back But when I heard the owner instruct the girl at the front desk to lock the front door of the hotel, I thought this needed addressing The hotel was supposedly sold out, but showed availability online The front door is a primary fire exit When the girl pointed out to the owner that no one would be able to get in or out, he said that he did not care and that they did not need to be able to go out I’m not going to comment on this further because I would just be ranting Take what you will from this and form your own opinions

Kathy Bartolomucci

While traveling to Florida we stayed here one night, March 20, 2022 and checked out the next day It was very clean, and the beds are so comfortable! The young man who checked us in was super friendly and helpful The young woman who took over that night was equally friendly! We would stay here again for sure! Thanks for all that you do to keep your hotel a wonderful place to stay!

My wife and I stopped in late without reservations The clerk on duty, Solomon was emphatic to the situation and was willing to try to help us find other accommodations nearby He said he wanted to double check and discovered another guest has canceled and he got us the only remaining room

On top of all this, he was fun! We also met a manager later in the evening, Kyle He was super friendly, gave us great advice on local BBQ restaurants and a local white BBQ sauce All the other folks on staff were just as helpful and you can tell that service is a high priority here The room was super clean and modern The common areas were all spotless and we could not have been happier with our stay here Highly Recommended!!!!

Overall great experience All the staff was amazing Breakfast was decent

The young lady working in the breakfast area took it upon herself to make omelettes without ham when she overheard us say we didn’t eat pork The room was nice The only complaint is that there was quite a bit of hair in the shower I always bring cleaning supplies to hotels so I cleaned it The room would have been near perfect without that Also check your receipt I was charged double for parking When I brought it to the front desk attention the young man said it was happening often He fixed it right away I would stay there again

Jorge Serafin

First of all, the staff was amazing! From the moment we checked in, we had an awesome front desk young man that gave us great dining tips, try Commerce Kitchen! Then, next morning, our breakfast attendant was awesome, always on point! This property has clearly been remodeled recently with an eye to sustainability Loved that the bathroom had refillable fixed dispensers for shampoo etc rather than disposable samples (individual soaps were present too) Vinyl and tile floors with carpet only around the bed means floors are more cleanable and sanitary

Breakfast is plentiful, well-attended, and clean Location can’t be beat if you’re attending an event at Von Braun Center This property meets every standard I expect from a Hilton, and I would definitely stay here again

Jessica Smith

The hotel was very clean and the staff were super friendly Jamal at the front desk was awesome, he even chatted with us about the convention we were attending They had their own parking deck that was very close

The parking deck elevators were broken though, and it could use better signage to show you which stairs lead to the hotel on the upper floorsThe room was nice and the shower was huge, very easily fit two people without anyone feeling squished The breakfast was very good, there were biscuits with sausage gravy, eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, and yogurt The location was great and within a 10 minute walk from the VBC, a ton of cool restaurants, and a beautiful park with a river and fountain

one of the best values I’ve had in the US, a furnished kitchenette with a full size fridge and ice maker, the beds were actually pretty comfortable which is rare in hotels these days, the rooms were large and well complemented and they did have a small gym and store to make things convenient the stay was quiet, much better than the last 3 places I’ve stayed and above all, the staff was friendly and quite helpful, heaps of praise on these folks for their hospitality

Oluwatoyin Olatunde

This review is not particularly for a stay at the hotel (my reservation was cancelled), but for the level of customer service I received in dealing with situational adversity I had a networking event in town that required my stay from the days of Jun 14 – Jun 15 Unfortunately during my event, my reservation had to be cancelled due to a mishap at the hotel (Apparently a fire broke out that got the fire department involved, and some destruction of infrastructure happened due to said fire)

To add to the mishap, it was later in the day with very little availability for other reservations around town I am highlighting the efforts of “Jennifer Middleton”, who was the manager on duty In terms of customer care and service, She went above and beyond to ensure that my reservation cancellation, due to the fire mishap on premises was addressed accordingly in an effort to make me whole from the inconvenience Unfortunately, I was put up in a Red Roof Inn establishment, which was sub-par (hence the 3 stars), but the room was comped on company dime and I understood the late occurrence of the accident required that sacrifices had to be made Jennifer was also under the weather, but that didn’t hinder her going the distance to ensure that my reservation as a guest didn’t just get cancelled, with me wondering how to find new lodging I commend her efforts, and hope Sonesta as an establishment, rewards her efforts for the incident response and damage control professionalism she displayed #Kudos

Day clerk was very friendly as were the cleaning staff Our room was clean but it had a slight off odor that wasn’t noticable when the room was cooler The handicap bathroom was decent but the shower bench was too far away from the temperature control so I basically had to adjust the temp before transferring to the bench

All in all we enjoyed our stay

Washer and dryer were better than the ones we used at a resort If we ever came back we would definitely stay here Close enough to were we needed to go without being overwhelmed with people and the gas station right beside the hotel was a plus Stayed June 16-19 👍

Clean room, easy check in, friendly staff and good breakfast Only complaint would be that that a lot of noise travels in from the hallways and through the floors We stayed on floor 3

I would recommend top floor if staying to avoid noise from people walking above Overall, this hotel was a good, convenient option for us while we were in Madison

A short list of things that went wrong during my visit:•Paid when I booked Confirmation email said, “$0 due at check in” The screen was blank when she asked me to insert my card, so I assumed it was to have a card on file in case they needed to charge me for damage to the room, and right before it processed the number $400 popped up on screen and I realized I had been double charged

Half of my trip budget gone because the girl behind the counter doesn’t know how to communicate Only bark orders• Got up to the room Microwave in the kitchenlet doesn’t work Lovely• Went to put toiletries in the shower, the bottom of the shower was dingy and black• Took off my shoes and stepped on something that cut the arch of my foot Picked up my foot in time to see someone else’s toenail fall to the floor• There’s no welcome book No instructions for check out Nothing Hope I did everything right, because I’m not looking forward to them charging me more money I didn’t owe themIt wasn’t my worst hotel experience, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I liked

Front desk staff left a lot to desired, but the rest of the staff were great Stanley, Annette and Carol at breakfast were amazing They all had the best attitudes, smiles for everyone and did everything they could to make our breakfast enjoyable

The omelets and biscuits and gravy were delicious The bartender at the manager’s reception was great as well Asked her to make me something sweet and she made me a delicious cherry limeade with rum that I will definitely be asking for again! There are some issues with the air Had to have maintenance come in and look at it It got better but still was on the warm side even with it set to 62 and I don’t like being cold

Room was not clean when we checked in However, hotel staff (Sid) quickly found us a nicer room and gave my kids a snack pack while they waited Second room was perfect and comfortable

Breakfast was awesome Lots of variety and cooked well Annette on the wait staff was so welcoming and sweet She filled us in on the happenings around the hotel and gave great serviceConstruction was ongoing but quiet and didn’t interrupt our stay or sleep

First for the good The beds and linens are excellent Definitely above normal hotel quality

The shower water is excellent Lots of water flow which is not normal in a hotel The breakfast is very good Annette and all her coworkers are very friendly and helpful Good selection for various tastesNow the bad For the price paid everything should be nice Three desk type setting chairs looked like the seats had been shredded by a cat There was a huge water stain in front of the refrigerator Decor was datedTo be fair they seem to be in the middle of a major renovation This place before you get here puts on an air of being the best Right now they are a long way from itThey really should lower their prices considerably till the place is done renovating

There is a safe in the rooms for your valuable itemsThe night crew let us soccer dad’s hang in the lobby till 2 am! We were behaving and playing music just chilling so it was nice to have a place to do soBreakfast was good, but there is no bacon so just an FYI

The housekeepers were nice and the rooms were clean

Have stayed here twice now Love the location and free parking The pool is really tiny and it’s in the shade most of the day

Staff was friendly but was sad to see the bar was closed permanently My issue with this hotel is the rooms If you are traveling alone, it’s fine but with a spouse partner or family, the layout is well, awkward The bathroom is spilt into two rooms, one with a toilet and small sink and the other a shower and larger sink So if you need to use the toilet before getting in the shower you have to leave one room and do into the other The doors to both bathroom areas are barn door style with frosted glass doors You can see shadowy figures when someone is in there for sure and at night if someone needs to use the restroom the light illuminated the room through the glass door The rooms definitely could use a design makeover! Beds are comfortable and a good value
