The customer service here is just awesome! The suites are nice and clean We got one of the top floors with a beautiful view looking out of the beach The only reason for the four stars is because the showers are really open and it’s so cold when you take a shower

It could be that we’re more conservative, but it’s just uncomfortable taking a shower in the open and it’s freezing cold with AC running in the room They have heated toilet seats in the master suite but no heat for an open area shower

One of the absolute best hotels/resorts whatver you wish to call it we’ve ever stayed in The employees are incredibly passionate, great at what they do an wonderful conversationalists Full of vast knowledge of anything you’d ever need to know of ANY of the Islanda

Service is 5 stars! Wonderful staff here, very friendly and always ready to helpRoom is huge, lovely, and the tub is so greatThe bed…

A rock, hard and lumpy Woke up every night with terrible back painThe pool is small, very small Like it was an after thought I would have loved to use it But it was full of children splashing and jumping off the planters We were on our 10 anniversary, so we left our kids at home with family I would suggest having adult hours Allowing the kids a lot of time, but maybe have certain hours in the day or night for adults only?

I fly to Hawaii every year for my birthday, and this was one of my favorite stays! The best part of this hotel is the pool area The bartenders and servers are so much fun and so polite! They made my birthday trip here amazing, I truly do miss them! The hotel itself is located in a prime location and the rooms are nice The food here is great too! If you want a beach/pool day and don’t really feel like going anywhere you can honestly assure that you’ll have great food, drinks and service right at your hotel, plus there’s a small beach a short walk right behind the pool

I Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re going to be in Honolulu and I hope to return this year for my birthday when I come back

Everything is good The room size is above average The pools are clean and all amenities are good

The staff are courteous and requests for linen and other essentials were taken care of immediately Parking is not a problem Request a room that has a view of the lagoon so you can watch the fireworks on your room I only gave 3 stars because of the policy that they do not clean the rooms when requested I understand not cleaning daily but if requested, they should clean the room

Chelsea Jones

This was my first stay at the Modern and it was extremely disappointing and nothing special Without prior knowledge, on arrival we were told that there is no room cleaning and we have to ask for fresh towels and other room amenities when we need them, including putting our garbage outside the room Firstly, we are not in quarantine so I don’t know why this is the case and secondly it is not hygienic or pleasant to have used towels and garbage lying around every floor of the hotel corridors

The staff at the hotel are extremely slow at actioning requests When asking for towels, I waited up to an hour for them to be delivered on one occasion They also don’t answer the phone promptly and even before my trip I was trying to contact the hotel about my reservation and I had trouble contacting them via email and phoneThe pool is nice, nothing special The sun beds are filthy however- they could use an upgradePool bar closes at 9:30 which I thought was quite early for a hotel? The overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing- on arrival the room was far from spotless There were hairs on the bathroom floor and dust and dirt on the floor which I had to clean myself3 electrical sockets in my room were not working and the WIFI cut in and outWouldn’t bother staying again- apparently it has recently been acquired by Hilton so I hope they can whip the hotel into shape!

We had the most wonderful experience at this hotel The service they provide is next level incredible! The concierge has so much knowledge and were amazing at helping us book cars and restaurants and giving us a tons of options on what to do The hard part was choosing from the list

The facilities and room were perfect and well maintained I also enjoyed that there was a kids and adults only pool The view from our room was amazing They are also extremely diligent in following Covid protocol (even though that sadly means no buffet breakfast!) An expensive hotel that’s worth every cent!

Dea Logsdon

The best! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon The staff were all so kind, housekeeping were so sweet and thoughtful We even had a washer/dryer in our room (awesome for not having to come home with a bunch of dirty laundry!) The food was amazing and it was just so lovely!! Definitely worth the price tag

We felt so comfortable and so well taken care of here We absolutely plan on staying here again if we get the chance!!

Dominik Lee

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at From the amazing service from all their friendly staff, to the clean and modern rooms, The Ritz at Waikiki Beach was above and beyond all expectationsThe rooms were clean, modern and had extremely comfortable beds

There was a full kitchen and even washing machines in the suite! Really felt like a home away from home Not to mention the views were absolutely breathtaking!Room service food was excellent The service provided by all staff was absolutely unreal From the valet on the ground floor, to the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff – everyone was so friendly and really went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay When we were leaving, we had a late evening flight and the staff were able to accommodate us to check out late so that we could still explore the city during the day and come back to our room to shower and change Usually hotels are extremely stingy about their check-out times, I’ve never experienced such exceptional serviceTo top it all off, the location was excellent You’re within walking distance to everything in downtown Waikiki Lots of good food and shopping close byWe will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Waikiki!

I love love love this hotel! The view is beautiful, and it’s so clean everywhere I love their system for valet parking They’re very quick and friendly

We stayed on the 21st floor so the view of the mountains and Waikiki is beautiful However, we’ve been staying here for 4 nights and 5 days without cold water in the restroom When I said no cold water, I mean absolutely no cold water Imagine yourself showering with burning hot water that causes third degree burns This is such a traumatizing experience for me and my friends We’ve complained and was advised someone would do something about it, and nothing We couldn’t move to another hotel since everywhere is booked The hotel said someone was going to come and fix this problem, but then again they didn’t care to fix it I’m surprised not much could have been done If you’re unit have a water problem, you can move us to another room This is my first time to Hawaii and it could have been a very positive experience otherwise if it hasn’t been for this I understand there are situations where things just doesn’t work out, and we are just unlucky with the room having a malfunction However, how the hotel react to it is very important Such poor communication and management for such a nice place If you’re unlucky like us then you’re pretty much screwed I would not recommend this place

Tropical7

Enjoyed staying here Book lagoon (not Marina side, not city/concrete jungle side) #1130 was nice for what we needed

Blackout curtains would have been a nice addition Large balcony to have morning beverage or snack, tv, air conditioning, updated kitchen and shower, king bed and sofa bed Can view fireworks from balcony on Friday nights Would stay again Pool was nice Restaurant downstairs outside Ice cream, trinkets and some items at store at hotel like postcards, makeup bags, beach bags, soaps, beverages, snacks Very nice open air restaurant with fantastic history Walking distance to restaurants, beach and lagoon right there, Marina, perfect view from balcony

Vince K

Room was very nice, great view Centric location in Waikiki Plenty of food, shopping, and beaches in the area

Had fully stocked kitchenette, meaning utensils and cookware Temp was great but wish the fan/cooler could be aimed more at the bed Liked that all we had to do to check in/out was enter a code in the door lock Security was very nice during the few interactions we had with them Not sure if this is a normal thing with these kind of rentals but they only give you a ‘starter’ set of goods (tp, shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion and towels) and then a small fee of you want more or buy some at the market in the lobby I guess my point is that you usually get those things from room service as part of your stay Was nice sitting on the open pavilion and enjoying a couple of meals at sunset They have two pools, technically Main one is a regular pool with an outdoor hose and then showers in the adjacent bathroom Higher level one was just a jacuzzi and a very shallow pool You will get jealous of neighbors on either side however cause the Hilton has a crazy water fall pool with decoration and the other side has gazebos all around the perimeter of their pool with a big round splash pad Would recommend

Excellent!! I had an absolutely fantastic stay during my five days at this Hyatt The valet was always quick, and the staff were genuinely friendly and conversational I requested a room with a better view at check-in, and the on-site manager immediately came over, searched for available rooms, and put me in a room with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows

The room was super nice, and hotel provides optional everyday cleaning The shower is essentially a high pressure car wash, making you feel like a brand new, cleansed person stepping out The lobby and splash pool is a nice place to lounge and eat carryout Location is also ideal and <8 min walk to Waikiki beach with plenty of eateries to choose fromI seldom give 5 star ratings, but this Hyatt rightfully earns it I highly recommend and will def stay here again for future vacations to Oahu! This review is long overdue!I had the pleasure of staying here at the end of March for 4 nights This place is hospitality done right! I feel like the staff is genuinely caring and very approachableEvery encounter with any staff member was incredibly pleasant, front desk, concierge, bell, housekeeping, even the manager, Daniel, had reached out to me prior to my stay to check-in before my travel day was approaching

My room was amazing! Great view, great size, very clean and well maintained There is a resort fee but it goes a long way I took advantage of the resort fee by using the gym, took a professional yoga class, and they provide beach towels/umbrellas/boogie boards/ for the beach- which is short walking distance passing all of the nice shops They even give you these really cool Hyatt branded reusable bottles (to fill with water or your favorite drink) They made a great souvenirMy first Hyatt stay and definitely won’t be my last Thank you Daniel & team for the hospitality and making my first trip to the Islands so memorable! I will definitely be back!

We had a great visit at this hotel Many hotels in Honolulu are aging and look broken down That is not the case here

Everything was clean and updated The lobby is accommodating and has plenty of lounge furniture to relax in or space to eat, work etcOur room was immaculately clean and very comfortable Plenty big as well Has a large flat screen TV with all the modern smart TV features including Chromecast! We did have a couple of issues with refrigerator and plumbing, but they were resolved quickly, and the staff was very accommodating and concerned that we were as comfortable as possibleSpeaking of service, the staff members here are some of the most friendly, helpful, courteous, professional, and personable people of any hotel I’ve stayed at They were so nice to us, and could provide any information we needed about Honolulu and local places of interest They also played with and fawned over our 10 month old daughter and made her feel very special I mean we almost want to come back every year just so they can watch her growThe pool is unique It’s not a deep lap swimming pool But more shallow and designed for lounging in (or out of) the water It was absolutely perfect for us, and our daughter quite possibly had the best time of her life in the pool The other amenities are also great It feels like they thought of everything we could need and made it available to usThe location is perfect for Waikiki It’s within walking distance to anything you could be visiting Waikiki to do Tons of nearby restaurants, upscale and regular shopping, as well as souvenir shops and other activities Very close, easy walk, to the beachI could go on and on, but suffice it to say this hotel is appropriate for families, couples, single people, travel groups, you name it Highly, highly recommend Hyatt Centric in Waikiki

We’re staying at the Hilton Waikiki village hotel and it’s beautiful Upon our arrival we checked out the tours and activities desk and made arrangements for a sail cruise We were offered a discount if we attended a presentation “a sales pitch” to hear about their members club to become an owner for their vacation club resort

We attended the presentation not to mention we gave away 2 hrs away from our vacation time Presentation was smooth, agents were so nice until we said no to their offer Their whole personalities changed They were no longer nice or accommodating You could tell they were bothered at the fact that their pitch was turned down Not to mention they tell you there’s no pressure when going into the presentation But yet they pretty much look angry if you don’t walk out saying yes These people get paid to do these presentations I understand it’s their time too but it’s their job They need to be more understanding when it comes to visitors We’re giving up time we could be doing other things instead of being a chair for 2 hrs listening to a sales pitch to only get a bad reaction once it’s all overCynthia you were awesome and polite until we said no and then you could tell it’s all fake As well as the other young lady who came in after you who was suppose to only do a survey but instead just threw another sales pitch Pleasant until she heard a no They need to learn how to be respectful even their sales pitch wasn’t successful

Purchased room with ocean view If you leaned out the window you could see the marina…not exactly ocean view Staff used the elevators with their carts during peak hours, we waited multiple times for 15+ minutes, each time a car would stop, it was full of staff

Expect to pay, room rate plus $44 resort fee, $45 taxes and $65 parking each day Your $249 room is actually $400 Just FYI Our room, we were also lucky enough to share it with the elevators Very loud and very annoying Lagoon tower is garbage in my opinion Staff were very friendly, restaurants were good Super busy

E

The front desk attendants were exceptional! Sherry and Yuko were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the surrounding area for dining needs The location is perfect and proximal to the beach and shopping centers Very family friendly or solo traveler friendly

My only complaint was the room, which they quickly and professionally addressed Would recommend for any business or leisure trip

MY FAVORITE HOTEL STAY EVERThe staff were incredible and so welcoming! Special shout-out to Princess, who was able to help me get my wedding dress steamed in time for my wedding (She was also super sweet!) Also, the valet staff were so welcoming as well! They would always greet my husband and I so excitedly – they even remembered our names! Lastly, the room was perfect! We had an ocean view room and we were in awe of the view

We spent so much time finding the perfect hotel to stay for our wedding, and I’m glad we stayed here Thank you!!

Kim C

We recently stayed for 6 nights in an extremely clean ocean view room on the 14th floor Everything was wonderful! ALL of the employees that we interacted with were very warm and welcoming We spent Easter morning at the beautiful pool with a friendly pool attendant

We had a rental car for 2 days and the bellhops remembered us whenever we parked or even walked by Check-in, check-out and requesting housekeeping was so simple The location is so convenient to plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a beautiful view of the ocean We highly recommend this hotel!

Truly outstanding property in Waikiki beach Rooms are somewhat small, but hey you’re in Hawaii so you really only use the room to sleep and shower Very much a boutique type feel hotel

Beautiful decor throughout the propertyFabulous bathroom with deep soaking tub and gentle cleaning bidet’s on the toilets Our 12th floor ocean view room did not disappoint!Exceptional service from every single staff member we encountered Carl at the pool was especially helpful and friendly The breakfast package that came with our stay was fabulous It’s served at their even more upscale sister property across the streetI loved the Halepuna and you will too!

We had a wonderful week stay at the Grand Waikikian The check in and check out was quick and efficient The rooms are nice and are equipped with a kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit

The customer service was excellent from the valet to the front desk The pools are nice but you do have to go early to get chairs they fill up quickly The resort is big it takes awhile to get use to where everything is The tapas bar has live music and the bands are great It is crowded but we never had issues getting an elevator to our room We are looking forward to coming back here again

Alissa Owenson

Just checked out after staying here for 7 days It was great to have a full kitchen, two bathrooms and the room was huge a lot of wasted space with the huge hallway but it was a great stay My most favorite thing was having a washer and dryer

I used it at least once a day It was so great being able to wash our beach towels at the end of everyday Not a ton of cooking utensils… definitely couldn’t cook a 5 course meal but enough to get by for small jobs The Hilton Hawaiian village is absolutely massive was packed with people and cars Parking is absolutely atrocious at $57 a day but nice location for in and out The pool nearest us with the water slide was cool but once we ventured farther we found the big pool right off Waikiki beach that was the spot They had tables next to the pool with servers Good drinks and good poolside food, reasonably priced If you are here on Friday night you have to make your way there once the sun goes down for fantastic fireworks Overall great stay!

Not as advertised – insane hidden fees – gross carpet – fake upgradesI was fooled by the reviews, pictures, description, and overall rating of this “resort” I’ll list the cons and then the pros since I believe in transparent, neutral, non biased reviewsCONS:- old, gross looking, dirty carpet in hallways to rooms on each floor- huge hidden fees (housekeeping $40 per cleaning, $40 lounge chair rental fee for pool area, $400 cabana rentals by the pool, $35 breakfast not included with room as advertised)- fake upgrade

I booked a partial ocean view, high floor room, and they explained they upgraded me for free to an ocean view They lied and gave me the same room I booked as they could not prove which room they had me booked in prior to the upgrade- The mini fridge was faulty and the door would not stay closed, causing us to lose lots of perishable items- The pool area is “reserved” after 7pm and impossible to find a free place to sit- Bed was older, spring mattresses, not pillow top or comfortable for a 5 star resort- NOT a 5 star resort as most travel sites claim it to bePROS:- Nice and friendly staff- Decent views as most of the surrounding hotels have views of other hotels- Centrally located in Waikiki, easy to get anywhere from thereDo your research, compare rates, look for hidden fees, upgrade items, know what it’s actually included in your hotel or resort

natasha Russell

The location was really good, although Waikiki is an extremely touristy place the rooftop bar feels like you have left the touristy streets The rooms were Nice (located in the beach side rooms)A fair few cons tho, although this should be a 4-5 star resort at times it didn’t feel like it We asked for a partial beach view, and was mainly buildings with a glimpse of beach

A man behind the bar (Chris I think?) was quite rude, we expect to have pool side/table service at all times, however, the man stated we had to come collect/order our food and drinks at the bar which meant kept having to get in and out of the pool (lots of staff still on duty) Although when the females were on duty, table service was allowed and we felt extremely welcomed! The music was extremely loud, could hear it on level 17 at 10pm I think the staff should also manage who leaves the pool, as seen, some would put towels on spare chairs and then leave for hours Or one lady put 4 towels on different chairs to “save them” then no one would show up for 3+ hours Also would recommend putting guests over walk ins on the pool lounges Our room was only ever cleaned 1/6 days The only other time was a house keeper coming at 5:30pm and we declined as it was night time and expect it to be done during the day Although, this all sounds so negative and I am not one to write a negative review but when you are paying a lot of money, you expect these certain things to be met or to not have as many negative things to say Overall, I’d say this is a 3 star hotel with the possibility of being a 4-5 star resort if fixing those issues

Christopher

Great location, comfortable and clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi, good service, food at bar/restaurant could use improvementI was in room 1962 king bed with ocean and diamond head view

Bed was clean and comfortable, slept well each night Air conditioning was easy to control and worked quickly and I believe automatically turned off if the patio doors were open Did not hear my neighbors at all unless I was out on the patio Yes the carpet looks dirty but it was a design choice not because it hasn’t been cleaned The mini fridge was the probably the only major failure in the room, it takes a long time to cool things and probably had food poisoning from some leftovers I put insideThe location is perfect All food options were within a 10 minute walk at most and the beach is just across the streetAll in all, a good, affordable modern hotel

This review is based solely on the host we had, Tomomi She was incredibly kind and although our stay did not work out as planned, she was quick to accommodate a refund and was very polite about the entire situation This bed and breakfast has a ton of potential, and just needs a bit more love in regards to some moths and mold in the bathroom

Unfortunately with me being very pregnant, we ended up not staying due to those reasons Again though, we can not say enough kind things about the family that resides here and Tomomi who assists with guests All were so nice and understanding The landscaping was also incredible on property

Xadra Rettew

This bed & breakfast is in a wonderful location, I found this gem browsing orbitz with one room left available It was convenient because I paid in advance so check in with Tomomi was a breeze It is a very intimate quiet setting, it seemed like the owner& family lives there

They were all super polite! I managed to get a lot of great pics around the property that Tomomi helped me with after she served me a delicious customized breakfast Would recommend this to someone looking for a little escape to an exotic classical Hawaiian getaway ( very )close to town

Beginning with the front entrance and continuing thru out the house, wonderful artifacts, paintings, figurines, statues, and fun things that catch your eyeThen there is this garden, probably the best garden I have ever seen, so many things to look at and adore Gives you plenty of shade thru outAlso there is a salt water pool to enjoy in the middle of it allI can not say enough about the family that run it The owner was a great guy to talk to, alot of great info of the place and the island The woman who seems to run it Tomomi, she was the best, caring, host you can imagine, she took care of your check in, and made you comfortable to stayShe even cooked the breakfast the next morning Which was very very goodThe family makes you feel like your home!!! Will Definitely be backThank you guys for a great stay All the way from Chicago

We loved our stay at the Imperial Hawaiian! The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived We utilized the valet service which was excellent They had fresh towels for us when we needed them, a pool, sauna, and two outdoor hot tubs

The view of the sunset from the top floor was amazing We were within walking distance to almost everything in Waikiki, which was super nice since parking can be an issue at times Overall, our stay was great and we would definitely come back!

I’m not one to give reviews regularly; I hope this review helps We booked this hotel (2 adults, 2 children (14 and 18) I was nervous because the amenities and the price didn’t line up

We arrived and were not disappointed at all The room had 2 bedrooms with a pull-out bed Each kid got their own bed The staff was excellent The hotel has an ABC convenience store attached ABC has everything you would need (food, alcohol, coffee, Coke fountain machine, coffee and memorabilia)The room itself was nice although a little outdated but still nice (especially for the price) The location is great Walking distance (4 minutes) to the beach Restaurants and stores are literally next doorI highly recommend this resort

Alize Magyar

Staff was wonderful, kind, and incredibly helpful Rented some chairs for the beach at a bargain The rooms were spacious and very clean

My only complaints about the room was my pillows were a bit lumpy and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable Too firm for my liking The view from the owners lounge was spectacular and worth being an owner just for that Would definitely return to this resort next time in Waikiki if it’s available for my timeshare

I absolutely loved my stay here at the Sheraton Waikiki Service from all staff members was exceptional From the time that we checked in until we checked out

I didn’t get my room service in my room but the housekeeping would leave fresh towels at my door daily when we placed the old towels outside our door…The convenience of this property is awesome If you’re looking to shop, it’s right there, the beach, it’s right there and all the restaurants within walking distance of the property There’s also some great restaurants on propertyAnd the pools were not too crowded and the beach was definitely not to crowded Get there a little early so you and get a good spot to lay out or rent you some chairs with an umbrella for the dayLastly, I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties, this was one of the best The views, the food, the service and the location made this an outstanding and very relaxing stay

Carmen Yau

Our family of 3 had a really fabulous time at Sheraton Waikiki We love the pool and hotel complimentary activities very much Our room was very clean and housekeeping service was excellent

Shout out to Imelda who clean our room for the week, she went above and beyond to provide what we need and change our dirty towels for us We are all very happy with the stay The ocean view was fantastic and worth for the upgrade We had many meals with the nice view in our balcony

Mikey T

This is coming from a Texas point of view The hotel service was horrible, I understand your on island time, but hardly anyone that comes and stays in Waikiki is on island time Lunch at one of the places inside by the pool with only 3 tables sat down took us 45 min to get our food and it was wrong

Separate from that, the hotel treats everyone like criminals asking for passes every 2 seconds , masked, ids to move two steps The customer service is far from good for a Sheraton hotel, not even sub par Everything is extremely overpriced 25 dollars for a makers and coke in a tall glass at rum fire The rooms are very small, the bathrooms don’t look very classy at all The view is the only good part The view with all these bad things will not get me past 1 star If I wanted to vacation with super strict rules, I would go stay at my mothers place Not worth the trip

Went here for our honeymoon- beautiful hotel but a lot of improvements could be madeThese were our negativesWe spent $4k to stay here for our honeymoon yet if you want a sunbed round the pool you have to get up early due to people leaving towels on them and disappearing until later in the dayIf you want a sunbed on the beach these are an extra $80 A DAY!!The ones which have four posts and a curtain attached are $200!!So for us even spending $4000 to stay at the hotel it seemed we were lower class and laid on the beach with sand blowing on us

One night we went to sit in the main bar area where the piano / music is played- with our coffees that we just bought at the hotel outside bar and was told the seats were only for people spending a two drink minimum- our coffees didn’t count – again we were made to feel like the poor lower class guestsThe last other thing was breakfast We had complimentary continental breakfast and the servers were very quick to point out it only included one drink and not lattes – again $4K spent to stay there and I can’t have a bit of steamed milk in my coffee I just think that’s very mean and poor formMaybe the managers making these rules should concentrate on the cleanliness as the restaurant could do with a dustThings were way overpriced in the hotel which I would expect but $12 for a (non alcoholic) frozen kona coffee from the pool bar TWELVE DOLLARS!!All in all nice hotel way overpriced

What a beautiful hotel! Staff was very friendly, accommodating Rooms way more than we expected and the ocean view fantastic! What a beautiful old hotel that’s been updated but still has it’s understated original charm and luxurious feel I can only imagine what the “First Lady” looked like in it’s early hey day

Hope to return and spend more time

Robert Sheldon

Great location, excellent service, and awesome beach Bathroom was a little dated, but the bed is comfortable, water is hot, and water pressure was good Our ocean view room had a beautiful view of Waikiki beach from the balcony

Good on site dining options, especially the breakfast You’re better off going across the street into the International Marketplace for multiple restaurant options for dinner

My husband & I celebrated our honeymoon at Paradise Bay The views are astounding! Treat yourself to a mountain view suite! You won’t regret it! The views driving up to the main roads are also amazing! My husband was in love! Paradise Bay provides the quaint & relaxing feeling Yes, there are roosters but not heard all of the time

The grills, pool, docks are all amazing! The boat excursion with Brian & Captain Rollin a huge plus & amazing experience! No, they’re not serving breakfast or any dining but everything is within a 10 minute drive & they provide an excellent list of dining suggestions! Minor issues (pillowcase had stains, only 1 side of toaster working) but the views & your experience make those minor issues disappear! Would definitely come back one the breakfast & dining re-open (hopefully very soon!)

Overall the resort is nice It’s clean and they have some great services The staff were all very friendly

My only complaint is that the walls are very thin You can hear your neighbors dishes, conversations, etc as if they were right in your room If they could fix that by adding insulation or removing doors that connect rooms, then they would be fantastic

Kate Oksendahl

The location was wonderful and staff were very friendly Rooms are basic (they’ve got a few TV subscription channels that you can log into if you have your own account) and walls are very thin My only issue was that they are still charging a $19 per night Resort Fee (half off) even though they aren’t serving breakfast and they additionally charge $15 per night for parking

The Resort Fee covers kayak rentals, the fitness room, and pool towels, but if you’re not using those things, it would be nice if it at least covered parking on their property This added up to an additional $200 for 5 nights I’d prefer that they just charge for amenities à la carte Otherwise, we had a great stay

What a beautiful property! From the doorman in the front to the managers, one of my favorite ! This property has the most amazing views, from all corners! The rooms are breathtaking, and all updated for the best and easiest experience! Turndown service was prompt and efficient, the staff always tip top! The rooftop pool and jacuzzi, so fun -especially in the eveningmy kids loved it

I stayed here this week from June 14th to June 18th, 2021im excited to tell everyone how great it was If you have a chance to meet RALPH, on of the managersthis young star is all about a great experience! We got thirsty one night, and asked for some water, and the super friendly lady brought us buckets fullshe was so pleasant and prompt, I will NEVER forget her The general manager and his staff, actually came to my room on the last day and actually thanked me for my staywho does this?? Yep, this was a class act, 5 stars all day My family enjoyed it, we all loved it My family prefers Maui over Honolulu , so we will probably not be back to this area for a while, but if ever do- for sure we will reach out to these superstars here!! I recommend them and their amazing property, all day!!! Mahalo!!

I spent my wedding weekend here for two nights and I wanted to stay forever The three bedrooms were perfect for the bride, groom, and wedding party of 14 to get ready There was a door that could be swung closed in the hallway to separate the 2k+ square foot space

It was also perfect because it was very luxurious, peaceful, and secluded — a rarity these days There were no footsteps running down the hall nor loud speaking individuals whose voices would echo off in the distance Looking back, I may have gone deaf and not know it Everything was blissful and ridiculously awesome Pretty much everything in the room was comped, so I didn’t have to worry about anyone consuming something they shouldn’t, and be slapped with an inflated bill later
The only downside was that the sauna wasn’t working yet That’s right, there’s a sauna beyond the shower in one of the bathrooms I wanted to sweat out the toxins from the night before, but I ended up hopping in the jacuzzi instead Next time I come back, I am looking forward to using the sauna and being straight pampered by the staff They are seriously A+, having gone above and beyond to make it the most memorable weekend of my life! ♥️

Ashley Brown

Excellent The staff was over the top friendly, helpful, and accommodating; the rooms, finishes, pool, and amenities are gorgeous and exceptionally clean Shari, Ralph, and Wesley (and the rest of the staff) were phenomenal

One example of the excellent service: I don’t eat gluten, so they went to a health food store to pick up fresh GF baked goods for me for breakfast every morning The location is in the heart of Waikiki beach so there is a bit of traffic noise, but since it was only the two of us, we just slept in the rear bedroom away from the street where it was very quiet The rooftop pool and jacuzzi provide an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean, sunset, and surfers Thank you Espacio for providing an incredible experience and making our time in Hawaii unforgettable- we will without a doubt be back Fellow travelers: if you’re on the fence about staying here, just do it, you will not be disappointed

This hotel is really awesome! A neat little mall like place on the first and second floor My girlfriend and I went downstairs to Kai Coffee to start our mornings too! We got the ocean view room and it was really nice! No bed bugs too! The room service comes a bit early, but they’re really friendly and nothing was stolen My only problem was the pillows are hard like bricks

Other than that our stay was perfect!

Location – 5/5 – Just amazing, right at the center of everything Beach was just outside, lot of great restaurants and shopping around They also have a car rental right at the hotel

Room – 5/5 – Was very clean, bathrooms were great, had a balcony with a decent view of the mountainsService – Room service was fantastic, they are very friendly and helpfulValue – 5/5 – We got a great deal, so I think it’s definitely worth itAmenities – 5/5 – They have a good gym, decent pool and a hot tub They provide beach towels as well Only thing I wish the package included was the beach umbrella, but you can get one for 10 bucks a day right outsideParking – Was fairly expensive, so we didn’t end up using itI would recommend renting a car only when needed and not throughout your stay as most of the bars , beach and restaurants are within walking distanceOverall, it was a very pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

Simon Cai

Amazing place overall!!! Spending our honeymoon here, and the oceanfront room we got had a simply magnificent view The hotel is literally seconds away from the beach, so if you enjoy hearing soothing sounds of the waves then this is for you, though may not be everyone One small item is that the shower could be updated a bit, but the room itself from the bed to the bidet(!) to just the general setup with the lounger facing the ocean is just fantastic

Would definitely recommend!

Beakers hotel, is very old, and you can see it in construction, design and efficiencyWith that being said, I still give it five starsThe staff is nice, the rooms are clean and came with a miniature kitchen/ dishes(microwave, electric stove top)

The balcony has no view but it’s a nice Hideaway to be outside and read a book or chill The pool is clean and beautiful located in the courtyard Right out side the door is a ABC convenience store and a shaved ice shop The beach is about two blocks away free parking is extremely limited And the shopping is walking distance The zoo is about a good walk away

My wife and I could not have had a better experience at The Breakers The location was perfect – only a half a block to Waikiki Beach The room we stayed in was delightfully vintage and absolutely spotless and the housekeepers were very attentive throughout our whole stay

The front desk staff made us feel welcome throughout our whole stay We really feel we couldn’t have picked a better place to spend a week in Honolulu ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice charming rooms to stay in When you hear the word hostel you tend to lower you expectations However, the rooms here are very clean and the premises (laundromat area/common areas/hangouts/smoking areas) are very well maintained

The staff is friendly and accommodating The surrounding areas are peaceful and other tenants keep to themselves so it makes for a really nice stay

Ted Frey

Super accommodating staff! I was supposed to arrive in early afternoon, but my flight was canceled and then my new flight was delayed I didn’t get in until late at night, but they were there to meet me at the gate and get me all set up after a super long day of traveling The room was far more than I was expecting for the price as well

Sure, it’s no luxury resort, but the value for your money is unbeatable!

Corey Hood

Nice guys in management, easy-going, with respect and aloha The location is perfectly situated right in the middle of everything you will ever need or want They are not worried about any comments from a few years ago since they made it into a community by their upgrades of the security, with a tall fence, automatic vehicle gates, three sets of locking doors, high-tech cameras and in fact have generally raised everything to a hotel standard

I’d prefer to stay here than anywhere else, and have for years, while it’s worked very well for me When you consider everything, quite the top value accommodation

Beautiful hotel with great views, above and beyond friendly staff, dolphins, and a beach The outside looks very dated but the room was very nice Sure, some more updates are needed as older but it’s wonderful inside

Room is great and the lobby is prettyThe food by pool and drinks were great The beach was nice and calm to swim but can’t swim out too far and can’t snorkel there Staff again is so friendly and helpful and I wish we were staying longerLoved the dolphins and walking by them Our view was amazingHoku’s is amazing and I’ll be going back

Excellent staff Kids love this place Eating dinner on balcony/falling asleep ten feet from dolphins

Also this resort is non smoking and there’s no smoke coming from the outside in I stayed somewhere in Waikiki and was destroyed by cigarette smoke every time I opened a window Not here!!This is the best place on Oahu

My husband and I stayed at the Kahala during our recent trip to Oahu, and were beyond impressed with the service we received Upon checking in, we met Carolyn who was an absolute delight and so kind to us We laughed throughout the entire check in process! Sean from Seaside Grille was very kind and just easy to talk with

All staff members were incredibly conscious of Covid-19 and took extraordinary precautions I would say my favorite thing about The Kahala though was the step-above they take for their guests Mahalo, Kahala Hotel for an incredibly clean, well-cared for hotel room

Had high expectations for this resort given its prime real estate Checking in late, we expected an easy & smooth check-in, but ended up waiting way too long – could have been greeted with waters or a complimentary drink to ease the wait The guest experience is lacking given the $ paid – just didn’t feel the warm friendly vibe you would expect

The rooms are dated, but spacious – AC works well Nearby food outlets on the resort are average quality – nothing special (nice part is there is an ABC store on the resort) You have to book your housekeeping (ended up cleaning the room) plus can only hold pool towels for 24 hours or return them the next day Also, make sure you check which building you are staying in as they play live music until 11pm on some nights and found it hard to sleep Pools are good, but busy All and all, would try booking somewhere else next time unless this resort starts to prioritize guest experience management

Beautiful location with direct beach access This conglomerate of Hilton hotels bunched together creating a little shopping haven What is unique with this Hilton location is the fire work every Friday night at 8pm

An experience you do not want to miss The fire work is beautiful and proximal that it feels 3DBali at the waterfront for breakfast: the waitress I have was attentive, personable and made great suggestions Although it looks real pricey, the portion size is decent and can be sharedwhat make up for the price is the view of the ocean and the food being served immediately piping hotThe only cons are the front desk could have smile more and be friendlier Being a diamond member and could not get any member benefits when subscribed to the Hilton Grand vacation package was a total disappointment Not only you can’t check in early, we had to wait 3 hours to be notified that our room was ready Then wait another hour at the mail and key line to find out that our room was not ready That was a little perturbing

The General Manager (Jeff) + all staff of the hotel were amazing, helpful and accommodating This helped my family and I to actually relax and enjoy every moment we were there I am so grateful for the hospitality and professionalism from initially booking to departure

Very clean resort with very high standardsExcellent location Accessible stores and food options within the village + a 15 minute walk to the main strip regardless, for shopping and restaurants Parking although expensive, is in a secured garage steps away from each of the buildings in the resortBeach front, lagoon and landscaping were well maintained and beautifulMandara Spa on site was helpful to rectify an issue and the massage was excellent
