Hotel is in a nice part of town, conveniently located Felt safe Honestly I’d call this review a 35

The hotel lobby was so nice, throughout the hotel was clean Pool was nice and kid friendly! The fitness center was underwhelming compared to other La Quinta’s we had been in, and about half of the equipment was broken/damaged The room was nice in appearance and clean, but smelled like other pets when we arrived Front desk staff when I called for the reservation wasn’t the best customer service, but after we arrived the experience was pleasant

Anna and Bradley Lane

I chose his hotel because I frequently stay at La Quinta‘s, and this is close to the airport for my 6 AM flight I was pleasantly surprised with the updated lobby, cleanliness, easy check-in experience The staff was gracious, warm, and very accommodating – Even when I checked in at 9 PM

The hotel and parking lot seemed very secureMy room was updated with nice finished, very comfortable, and quiet Those are the things I ask especially before traveling for work I will absolutely stay again

Stevana Clark

Rooms were good and clean, comfortable beds, only issue was that it was hot and the a/c didn’t work well at all Pool was nice but they shut off the lights at 9:20 and the pool wasn’t supposed to close until 10pm Wasn’t a fan of there only being one entrance into the hotel

Breakfast was inedible We ended up going somewhere else to eat Will stay somewhere else on our next visit to Kansas City

I splurged a little on this hotel because it has the perfect location We were able to walk to all sorts of bars, restaurants, breweries, etcAll of the staff were very nice and breakfast was pretty decent

However, the drinking glasses weren’t totally clean so I definitely recommend washing those before use (this is for almost every hotel ever though)I was extremely happy overall and would definitely stay here again

This hotel is beautiful, its staff friendly, and its location great I’ve stayed here twice now and plan to stay again as often as I can The rooms have a classic look and are immaculately clean

The building has an old soulful feel to itDuring my most recent stay, I presented a tax exemption document to the front desk at checkout time No hotel likes dealing with these, but Charlotte was patient and thorough in seeing it through, multitasking by helping other guests while she adjusted my bill I could not be more pleased with my experience

Room had a weird musty smell, breakfast was trash, and the hot tub was not hot, or clean The pool is super small When i voice concerns about the hot tub not being hot, was told “sorry it isn’t up to your standards” snottily from the woman working the front desk

Had to pay a whole day even though i checked out 2 hours late I understand if you checkout late you need to pay, but i was checking out because the hotel was a dump i wasn’t late i was dissatisfied Short story long just don’t stay somewhere else We’re now at the Embassy Suites for about the same price

Susan Little GM was awsome!! After having such a horrible horrible experience at another hotel and then trying to find other hotels to stay they say 3rd time is a charm and it was!!Thank you so much for the hospitality and compassion with our previous incident!! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back at some point

Brien Hunsaker

Today I experienced possibly the worst experience you can have with a hotel My wife works for Marriott and we booked five rooms around 2 months ago Marriott has a deal where you can get an associate rate for your spouse and for your parents

You can also book for your friends and family that are traveling with you for additional rooms at a little higher rate but lower than full price Sometime during our 6-hour journey to the hotel today, the general manager (Susan Little) called and left a voicemail that they could not honor the rates that were booked online I guess they had no time to notify us in the previous 60 days? Since she did very little to try to help us out today I now I can understand her last name Anyhow, when we got there she said the policy only allowed us to get two rooms and I said the policy said we could get two rooms at the associate rate and additional rooms for immediate family at the friends rate She said she had worked there for 10 years and knew the policy backwards and forwards and I was wrong and she was only going to give me two rooms at the associate rate and the rest would be $50 higher than what was booked My wife then went on to the Marriott website and signed in and print it off the sheet that shows the rate details which said as an associate you could get two rooms and additional rooms would be at the friends and family rate The general manager was then upset because I proved he wrong and she said she would not honor the friends and family rate I then asked for the phone number to corporate so I could call in a complaint after which the general manager, Susan Little, decided to cancel all of the rooms and now we had no rooms available to us We then went over to the Hampton across the street and after explaining Fairfield’s terrible customer service and treatment we received Hampton gave us a lower rate beating the Fairfield Inn associate rate which ended up being a much nicer hotel than the Fairfield Inn I would definitely check out the Hampton before checking in to the Fairfield inn And after this experience I will not be coming back to the Fairfield inn and suites by Marriott at Kansas City anytime in the future Attached is the policy so decide for yourself about the policy

Good Hotel Breakfast was good and had some unique options like egg souffle and sugar Belgian waffles (or something like that) and had basics like juice oatmeal yogurt bagels and waffle maker Additional outdoor seating next to breakfast area was a nice touch with some decent views

Rooms were good size (2 queen suite), bathroom was clean and had enough towels for a family of 4 without having to call front desk for more I do also like the soaps and hair products in the shower with a dispenser Some of the fixtures in room were nice enough to consider them for my own home it did not feel outdated I would definitely stay here again Overall positive experience No complaints

DEMONTAYE NIXON

Very nice Room was really clean Staff are all very nice

Breakfast could be a bit better My girlfriend doesn’t eat cheese but they only provide prepackaged breakfast sandwiches that have cheese I usually stay at Hilton properties because as a business traveler I get credit for my stay even if book through a third party site Would frequent this hotel even more if they did the same

If I had 6 stars i’d give them to this work and play gem Due to work, i travel very often and our stays at hotels are long so, the hotel is our gome for weeks, and sometimes montg This Marriott branch is bar far at the rop in my experience with other branda

They do offer cumplimentary breakfast, which I almost never used because i had a kitchenette in my Jr Suite The breakfast is not their high point but, hey it’s cumplimentaryBy far that little flaw is overcompensated by super kind and pro staff, a salt water pool, a very decent gym and many other amenities, clean, neat, modernTo many good things for this short reviewThere is no other place to arrive in Kansas City, MO for your work needs

My family and I were looking for a place to stay as a “pit stop” on our road trip from Minnesota to Texas I googled the safest cities near KC and Prairie Village was it! We enjoyed it so much we booked 3 nights on our way back homeOur kids loved fishing on the lake as well as the playgrounds across the way

The staff was friendly and accommodating We liked that a room key is needed to access other floorsRoom was spacious and smelled amazing, the lake view was cozyGreat location, too! We felt right at home

Lindsay “Laweav22” Anne

Beautiful hotel and great property We enjoyed having several options to eat it The market had a grab and go section so a larger fridge or a microwave in the room would’ve been nice

Not a big issue though, would highly recommend There was a large post wedding party at midnight in the room next door and by the time I dialed the front desk they had already resolved the situation which was much appreciated We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area

Stephanie Erisman

We recently stayed at the Inn at Meadowbrook for around a week and all I can say is that it was absolutely magical in every single way The rooms were gorgeous and extremely comfortable The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful stay

The amenities were amazing and the food options were delectable The staff made us feel completely at home and even brought out small gifts for my toddler who was over the moon It was simply magical and we will never forget our stay! We have many staycations already in the works for the upcoming months and we couldn’t be more excited I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, its top notch and you will have the best time ever!

I have been staying here for a very long time If you choose this place you for sure won’t regret itWe are here every year for the Villain Arts Tattoo Festival and I have not been disappointed in 8 straight years! The area is clean, rooms are comfortable and they meet all of your needs I can’t say enough good things about the staff, each and everyone of them The concession workers for food and the bartenders for our show were and are always polite, friendly and just awesome workers I would recommend staying here for one night or a week every year like us

The Boss Babe

This hotel is lacking in amenities It should be ranked as a 3 starThe rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a view

Staff was very helpful and friendlyRegarding the amenities and the remaining stay…It was very difficult to grab a quick drink or cocktail as there’s no clear direction on restaurant services I don’t know if anything was even open The pool is antiquated and very disappointing It is not close to the rooms The hotel provided 4 pool chairs for their guests The rest of the guests were sitting on the concrete No poolside drink or food services I would not consider this area/pool of the hotel accessible to those with physical disabilitiesThe hotel appears to be better suited for conferences, corporate stays, or maybe weddings It was not a good fit for our needs

This hotel was sufficient I’ve definitely stayed in better Marriott properties in other cities The staff were very helpful and the venue lobby was newer

There was a police officer posted in the lobby which was a first for me The hotel & area didn’t look sketchy at all but leaves me to question Why the police presence?Would stay again

Renee Charest

Very disappointed I reserved a king room weeks before On arrival- my wife and I were greeted by a gentleman behind the checkin counter

He first asked if we wanted 2 rooms When we said 1, he said “ then you’ll want 2 queen beds I said- a king He laughed and looked away Our room was spacious and clean- much like Holiday Inn There was no microwave in our room , so we had to go down 20 floors to warm up some leftovers The 3 men behind the counter were not helpful at all When we asked where we should go , they just pointed down the hall However they were quite attentive to a fashionable man asking for waterThe experience we encountered was inexcusable One would think a Marriott would have higher expectations in its employeesWe travel quite a lot for business and pleasure Marriott will no longer be our hotel

Where to begin! We had a banquet part with my company down here We were really looking forward to staying at the hotel and enjoying ourselves at our company event However upon arrival we were told by Valet that the parking garage was full and that we should go park in a garage 2 blocks away from the hotel

Parking was suppose to be validated per company invite However there was a different garage in which Midway was suppose to park but we did not find out until 2 hours into the event We paid the $10 to park in garage 2 blocks away and then moved vehicle to the correct parking garage we were suppose to use and the next morning (after our stay at the hotel) paid another $24! The receptionist at the front desk was very rude while checking us in No smile or courteousness at all! He could not tell us were exactly the event was that we were trying to get to We had to roam around until we found it The hotel refused to validate parking even though they were the ones that had miss informed us and told us were to parkNow that was just the nightmare with parking We we arrived to our room it appeared to be cleaned Then we were to shower after the event and the bathtub has rust around the faucets and someone’s dirty rags were still hanging in the shower(Gross!)!This was my first and my last time staying at this hotel There are much better options out side of the downtown area that are much better at cleanliness and customer service!

Ed Austin (ShadowWolf180)

When visiting the area near Worlds of Fun, there are several hotel/motel options in the immediate vicinity; namely due West of the amusement park across Interstate 435 on Randolph Road/Corrington Avenue Going back some 15 years ago, many of those options weren’t bad at all, with one or two higher-priced optionsFast forward to 2022, and some of the motels are turning into places were the homeless or less fortunate live all the time

So finding a decent stay in that area is actually quite challengingFortunately, this hotel is still holding true to being a quality place to stay, and at a reasonable price The Staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean The rooms are what you expect with the normal amenities (TV with cable, coffee pot, etc) Access is through main doors to help with security This is a plus given the locationThe only thing to be concerned about (and honestly this is not the fault of Super 8) is the deterioration of the surrounding area Again, other motels very close by are not the basic bargain motels of yesteryear, instead hosting recent crimes as stand offs, assaults, and theftsMy wife and I were hosting our oldest son, his wife, and our grand daughter for a weekend We live close by, so we wanted them to be close by as well Given our local knowledge we had to do our homework and go through the reviews of all the hotels there and found this to be the best We weren’t disappointed, and neither was our son and his familyIf you are planning a visit to say Worlds of Fun and want to stay very close to the Park, this is really your one good option without paying absurdly high prices or settling for a 15+ minute commute from the Park to your hotel

Philip Dodd

The lady at the front desk was awesome, she gets 5 stars! the only reason I gave 3 stars is the jacuzzi had 15 spots were the coating was chipped off and the shower had 1 spot that was chipped off Since the jacuzzi is made of fiber glass underneath the coating, we didn’t get a chance to use it, I didn’t want to risk getting literally getting covered in fiber glass Other then that the room was really nice, and for the price it couldn’t have been better

I’ve paid more for a room without a Jacuzzi that wasn’t as nice as this one, and couldn’t hear other people in there room untill they open there door So the sound deadening was remarkable I’d stay there again if they fix the jacuzzi

Brandi Moss

This place was horrible First off you must have a credit card and an id that matches So you can’t use your husbands credit card with out him

Secondly our bed was broke and my son cut his hand on it when the bed slipped off and he fell The rooms were musty and moldy smelling The door frames were all bent like someone had tried to pry the doors open The lock on the inside was broke The gentleman that checked us in was hateful The only positive thing was the beds were comfy, but super small they are only a full size bed

I was very underwhelmed by the Fontaine I had hoped it would live up to its “4-star” reputation but it’s way overpriced and needs more updating and maintenanceAn issue I had was that they advertise the prices to appear really low on Google

I was seeing in generic searches $112 a night That is absolutely not going to be the case We recently stayed 2 nights in a basic room and ended up paying $630 (including parking)As others have said, for the price, I would’ve expected more amenities They did have a rooftop bar which was nice, but the rooftop pool is really tiny No spa, very limited dining options, no robes in the rooms, etcThe lobby is nice and the shared facilities look the best But the individual rooms themselves need TLC Chipped paint, scuffs, rusty metal items…again just not what I expected for the star rating and costI don’t mind paying for excellence, but I wouldn’t stay again unless the rate was substantially decreased The value just wasn’t there for me

Ashley Lardino

You are only paying for the convenience of the location The lobby is beautiful and gives the illusion that you are staying at a very high end hotel The staff was very friendly

However, the room is very very basic And as in other reviews, our room was dirty The fridge had not been cleaned and had what looked like chocolate milk all over the inside It was dusty and the floors were dirtyThe only “luxury” was the walk in shower with the rainfall shower headThe rooftop pool was so small and the whole area was cramped It was hard to move around and uncomfortableI would not recommend this hotel if you are wanting a getaway for a special occasion Incredibly over priced for such an under whelming experience

Allen Pepito

Today, I planned a surprise reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday which is not for couple more days I’ve been in contact with Micheal Wallace in preparing for that day He has been kind and quick to respond to All (yes there were multiple interactions) my emails

The Fontaine hotel is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite stay-cation spot We have chosen to stay there 4 times now because of it cleanliness and beautiful rooms They also have an amazing rooftop pool and restaurant/bar The location is incredible since it is close to multiple restaurants and store at the plaza The parking is easy to find in the parking garage which has access to the hotel through an elevator Anyways, the customer service that I’ve receiving from Micheal in just planning this special night has been exceptional I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to him for everything he has done

I missed my flight and was extremely aggravated so I hopped on the shuttle and came here The front staff was extremely nice, the women was training a new employee at the front desk and check in was smooth! She was able to give me a slightly discounted rate and I am only staying until early in the morning She reminded me to book a spot on their free shuttle in the morning and asked if I needed a wake-up call since it’s super early

The bed is extremely EXTREMELY comfortable and I have a 12 level spinal fusion, so I’m picky The kitchenette is very nice and clean The bathroom is huge! Shower is HUGE! Thanks TownePlace for making my really bad day end on a good note!

Adra Maxwell

Liked the room, hated that interstate traffic woke me up ALL night 😑 The kitchen was lacking actual dish liquid Its hard to get some things clean in the dishwasher if they’ve stuck onto the pan

So a few of our dishes were dirty But other than that, the room was clean & comfy The beds are more soft than firm, at least in #301 The breakfast was oatmeal & spinach quiche No fruit, no meat, no waffles, etc This is the worst breakfast selection I’ve had in a very long time Most other hotels (I’m in different hotels about 4 days out of the week) have much better options The quiche is superb though, I will say that I could have been greedy and ate 3 more Lol But all in all the hotel was nice, just needed a few small improvements

Jason Soto

Stayed for a month Fourth floor is the best bet Far enough away from the noise downstairs

Room service was meh One of my coworkers found a small roach on the third floor I guess it is expected when there are kitchens in the rooms One morning, I grabbed my iPad from the bed, flipped the cover open and a millipede flew out of it I’m thinking pest control may be in order The breakfast sucked Seriously But the bed was comfortable and the TV was alright Kitchen had a good setup and facilitated my cooking No restaurant/bar There’s one down the street at the Four Seasons hotel Not bad for an extended stay hotel overall Great folks too

What else can you expect from a Marriott property other than absolute beauty and perfection Residence Inn implies or suggests a longer term stay than what a usual hotel booking would see, and wow are these places equipped for that! The in room refrigerator is a shorter version of the full-size you have in your kitchen at home, but I would venture to say three times larger than one of those “mini fridges” you had in your college dorm room There are 2 stove top burners which are glass topped

There is a powerful microwave above the stove, a 2 basin sink along with a full size dishwasher All of the appliances are brand new or new enough to make one think they are brand new The office/dining/living room area features a high-top table and 2 tall chairs, a business area with large table top desk space, and a full size couch complete with end tables even The bedroom is a separate room with a locking door The bed is HEAVENLY, probably the best sleep I’ve had in over a decadeno_joke! The vanity is single sink where there is another door into the shower/tub and toilet areaI would absolutely recommend staying if you have the means and quality is Important I WILL be coming back

The staff, from the manager to the courtesy desk to the cleaning staff, were all amazing The hotel is clean, rooms are nice, breakfast has many options and dog park area is a great perk We had a house fire and stayed at this hotel for a few days

Only reason we changed hotels is because someone tried to steal a catalytic converter out of one of our cars The location sits back in a quiet area Even with security guard on staff they still were able to make an attempt to take the converter They damaged a flex hose, didn’t get the converter, but we felt if we returned another attempt would be made The staff, however, were just simply the best They were all friendly and helpful through the entire ordeal

The entrance was beautiful The staff was more than accommodating My welcome bag was plentiful and the shower was exactly what I needed after a long day

It’s real close to the airport so that makes it easy Couple drink cards for later and the food for the managers reception is a nice appetizer If you have to get to the airport early, stay here You won’t regret itTell them Lucky sent youIt probably won’t get you anything, but boy will you sound cool

Found this quiet hotel kinda by accident Rooms are stylish and clean Every room in the entire complex are suites, I’m guessing different room sizes and layouts

An unexpected perk was all rooms have a door that opens up with a small balcony to stick your head out or let fresh air in Has a full kitchen with utensils We just stayed one night and didn’t use the kitchen but to keep in mind for another stay Overall great experience for a very reasonable price Update one day later: after the general manager sent me an email thanking me for my comments today I started reading some of the negative reviews The wife and I over 45 years of marriage have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years I’ll just give my opinion of one of the negative reviews They stated the room was too small for 5 people? Really, 5 people? Show me any hotel single room that would really be big enough Perhaps they should have gotten two adjoining rooms Like purchasing anything, do your homework Let’s just say our stay could not have been any better for three times the price You will not be disappointed

I enjoyed my stay at Homewood Suites I’ve been to a few extended stay hotels, but none of them allowed pets to stayThe kitchen was a dream made true with pots, pans and all the essentials

Having a refrigerator that included a good size freezer, a large microwave and a stovetop, but I’ve never seen one with a dishwasher It was so nice Many good establishments delivered as wellPlus it had a sitting area in front of a door you could choose to open for fresh air A full king bed, with a closet all the essentials to be home away from home I believe the saying isThe continental breakfast was what I expected, and the staff were all nice I would suggest this place for sure

Probably the worst hotel we have stayed in in Kansas City We needed a room that was large enough to entertain five people so we asked for their largest room they informed us all rooms are the same got to the room and it was a sardine can (so small) So I told the front desk my dilemma and ask them if they had a meeting room we could use for a couple hours

They started off by saying the meeting rooms were reserved for the next day and I told them I needed it for that night So they asked the manager and he lied and said they rooms were booked Looked in later they were empty Went out to get food later came back the police had the driveway blocked something was going on in the hotel with the police Do not recommend staying at this place

The only reason this hotel got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of noise The walls seemed pretty thin, so we heard a lot of outside noise and a quiet conversation in the hallways sounded like they were right next to us in our room Otherwise, all of the staff was very helpful, the location was perfect (near everything we wanted to do), and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and homey

Don’t forget to have your parking pass validated if you keep a vehicle on site!

Always a great stay Hotel is clean and mostly quiet A bit of inside work is going on right now

There were workers in the lobby and outside my door for most of my visit I wasn’t disturbed The bartenders were great Especially the gentleman I hate I didn’t get his name Great outside patio with fire pits Location is safe and quiet I stay here often for business

Anthony Tripp

Booked this hotel because its fairly close to downtown Nice hotel and they seem to be doing work to renovate it Was disappointed in the bed and the pillows

The mattress was very firm and the pillows were not Bed is a personal preference so my rating isn’t based on that My 3 star is because the rooms don’t block out much noise We could hear conversations next door as well as people in the hallway and this was during the night Disappointed that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance Will probably stay again once the remodel is complete

We had a lovely stay here for two nights Our room was large and well appointed, and the bathroom was big and all marble, with a no- fog mirror The hotel was beautiful, very clean, tastefully done

The online check-in was quick and easy, same for checkout There was music in the bar, which was lovely, and the bartender, Robert, was delightful We really loved having a balcony and a nice view of country Club plaza, and we were close to everything The beds were really comfortable, with one firmer pillow and one that was soft and comfy The restaurant was great, and our breakfast was really nice All the hotel employees went out of their way to do whatever they could for usWe did have an issue with the A/C, since I’m always cold and we could not get it warm enough, so we just turned it off The only thing I could suggest is a towel rack in the bathroom by the vanity, that would make things easier, but overall everything was amazing We’re planning on returning, and possibly staying at the concierge level next time Beautiful hotel!

First stay here Hotel is beautiful and spotless Staff are personable and professional

Although requests weren’t spot on the first time, either wrong room or forgot something, every measure was taken to ensure requests were fulfilled Wait and cleaning staff were especially top notch with care attention you’d expect in a five star resort Salad at American Slang restaurant was perfect Rooms were above average, with robe and slippers Management seems somewhat new in the profession but adapting Overall a great great experience

LaRhonda Boone

My husband and I had an impromptu date night The room and staff were amazing I highly recommend the concierge package so you can have access to the VIP lounge

Don elevated our experience to make it an unforgettable night There were several people waiting to check in and Jacob, who was walking out the door for the night, stepped in and helped everyone get checked in quickly We cannot wait to stay again

Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway The only downside to our stay was the loud guests, which the hotel can’t control We had the theme suite and it was lovely

We did have to ask for more shampoo, as there was only enough for one person But they kindly gave me more! The room was very nicely decorated and the view was very nice Breakfast was really good, better than most hotels This was my second stay and I would definitely go back 😊

So, it’s a hotel You want clean room, safe property, some conveniences like a microwave and mini-fridge, snacks, a bar, ample parking, you get those things What makes this place great is the people

Everyone I had to interact with was wonderful and always gave me the feeling that I was important and that what I had to say, they wanted to hear It was really nice From check, to the night shift worker giving me directions, to the guy at the bar and even the person who was taking care of my room, everyone was great This is a good place to stay by yourself, with a group or with your family I highly recommend and I will definitely make this my hotel of choice for all of my visits

Briana Schmidt

Great location, clean hotel, super friendly staff, amazing room (get the king with the whirlpool tub — worth it), AND, our favorite was that they have “adult swim” from 10-11pm There was a large group of teens at the hotel during our stay and, as kids do, they were all over the pool having a good time Adult swim hour gave us the time to just … chill, as adults like to do, without the craziness of kids being kids

If you need somewhere to stay in or around Kansas City, definitely pick this one It’s just far enough away from the big city to stay safe and quiet but also close enough to enjoy what the city and surrounding areas have to offerWill definitely book here next time I’m in the area 10/10

We stayed at Hotel Kansas City for my wife’s birthday We love Town & Company so it’s an easy pick for us This was our first time staying in the hotel

Its is an outstandingly beautiful hotel inside and out The rooms are large and very well kept I love that everything goes along with the style and age of the hotelThe only criticism I would give is that parking is extremely hard to find and the wallet is not included in your hotel stay which I think is a mistake We also were not a huge fan of the “speakeasy” bar in the basement, but overall we had a wonderful time and will absolutely come back for another stay And we live in Kansas City so that something for sure!

Luke Thomas

Honestly I have nothing bad to say about the placeThis hotel exudes civic pride for the KC club building that it is located in and Kansas City as a whole From the paintings on the walls to the drinks and the coffee, it’s all Kansas City

I did some research before coming and the only major gripe I could see was valet parking costing $35 a day should you choose to use it As soon as I pulled up I asked the valet if I could self park and he was more than happy to let me go that route The check-in was painless and the staff listed off every feature the hotel had to offer and moreThe location is amazing and well within walking distance to any activity There were two things that stuck out during my stay that made me say “wow” 1 was the bar in the lobby One of the best drinks I’ve ever had was at that bar 2 was the staff who let us borrow the head of housekeepings phone charger for a night due to my wife forgetting hers at homeThat’s top tier customer service! We will definitely be returning anytime we’re back in town

Marla Battles

We were supposed to stay here for a week and decided one night was enough First the pro’s, pretty building, coffee in the lobby was great, wish it stayed open longer though Cons, valet parking is 35 a day and you’re paying that for them to park you car next to the building in a completely unsecured lot

If I’m paying that much per day I expect it to be in a safe place Rooms are small unless you have a suite (we had a double Queen corner room) and there was very little room for our stuff The beds…where to start…every time anyone moved on them it sounded like somebody rolling around naked on a rubber life raft And it was uncomfortable Our sink faucet ran hot to cold constantly during use When we checked out early they charged us a penalty of an extra night So, essentially I paid $600 plus taxes, fees and valet for no sleep and a stiff back I have stayed in many lovely places all over the world and I assumed this would be comparable based on the pictures and reviews but I was disappointed, to say the least This is a 3 star hotel, at best, disguised under a 5 star shell
