We attended a wedding at this beautiful hotel The hotel was amazing it was old but historic So much history at this hotel which was very cool

Everything there made you feel like you were experiencing a event from the 20’s As for attention the wedding it was also a great experience, as a groomsmen we had are own room to get ready in and they were very attentive to our needs The food was great and the room we had was amazing and historic and you could walk right outside to a huge I mean massive lighted pool This hotel is a most visit, next time I will have to get a room

Lorenzo Racana

Superb experience in a beautiful historic property! We drove out here for the Sunday Brunch while staying in Miami Beach last year, and were so impressed with it then that we decided to stay here this year for one night following our flight out before we drove down to the KeysWe took a red-eye flight out and arrived at the hotel around 7:45am, fully intending to just check our bags at the front desk and wander around until our cabana became available at 10am You can imagine our surprise when at 7:45am, they told us they had a room ready and we could actually check in! After little sleep on the overnight flight, it was so amazing to be able to go straight to our junior suite and lay down for a couple hours before going to the pool

The cabana experience was also very enjoyable The price was extremely reasonable (about half the cost of the average cabana in Miami Beach), and our attendant (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) was very courteous and checked on us often without being obtrusive By afternoon it had warmed up enough to go in the pool, which is gigantic and beautiful Even if a lot of other people are there, it doesn’t feel crowded thanks to it’s sheer size Also love the grand lobby area (and the mini aviary with the little finches was a delight for this bird enthusiast!)Overall we had an amazing timewish we would have spent more time here and less in the Keys Thank you to all staff who made our stay memorable!

After the hotel we stayed at on South Beach, this was a welcomed changed Check-in was quick Our room was on the 21st floor and we had a spectacular view

And everything was nice and cleanI was a bit disappointed that their bar didn’t have non-alcoholic beer, and a bit put-off by the bartender constantly making jokes about adding alcohol to my club soda and lime I don’t drink anymore, so his remarks weren’t exactly humorous to meThe pool area and gym were very nice The pool water was warm, which was perfect for the cool and breezy evenings It’s nice to relax out there and chat the time away until they close out at 10pm And you can watch the sunset from there as well

Kevin Liba

I recently stayed at the Dadeland Marriot on a business trip I was greeted by Kate at the front desk for check in She was extremely polite and attentive

She had me checked in and on my way in a very timely manner The next day I ran into Kate again because I needed a new key and she asked how I was enjoying my stay and if there was any I need to not hesitate to ask I had dinner at the hotel 3 nights while I was there The bartender Steve was great Must try his old fashioned I can honestly say that both Kate and Steve are all about customer service and ensuring the guest have a memorable experience at the hotel I will definitely be coming back

Villa

The most disgusting outdated room I’ve ever stayed in There was bodily fluids stains on the couch which looked about 30 years old Holes in the curtains, mold and bacteria in the bathroom and just a real horrible feeling to even being in the room

The manager who I forget her name was a lady and was so rude when I complained She said that even she wouldn’t pay the price the room costs but yet wouldn’t do anything about it The room really should be investigated as it was totally unhygienic and make me feel sick I would recommend to people staying in this area to go the the Marriott inside dadeland mall The rooms are modern and the staff are lovely This hotel is a complete dump and be warned if you are booking online You may end up having a holiday in a room that makes your skin crawl If management wants to get in touch I would love to forward you the pictures of the mold and bacteria in the air vents and the fluid stains on the sofa There should be some type of investigation into the conditions I was not the only one complaining, I heard many other saying the same!!!!!!

I won’t pretend to be a hotel connoisseur or anything but this stay was pretty bad Sure it’s a nice looking facility but if the bar is so low that isn’t outside the norm, then I don’t know what I’m doing in life1

) No complimentary breakfast Didn’t even ask for the price Nickel and diming isn’t my style2) Room was not cleaned or maintained ONE time in my 4 day stay3) Surprise $200 deposit at time of payment I understand a deposit, but be transparent4) Couldn’t get laundry services done And after asking several times when it’s going to be back available, get told that the cut off has already passed You would think that information would’ve been included when I was, you know, asking about itOverall, it was less than a sub par experience for a “four star” hotel I’ve had far better interactions and experiences at 2 star Extended Stay and Comfort Inns First time/last time for me thanks

Angie Nash

I am in Miami pretty often because I fly back and forth to Bahamas often and usually stay at a different Hilton but decided to try this DoubleTree because it was next to a mall and lots of restaurants and still very close to airport I was surprised how nice this hotel was The room was very nice and clean

I even ordered roomService breakfast before I had to head to airport It was exactly on time The lady was very sweet and professional when she delivered and my breakfast was fantastic My coffee was Starbucks which I loved! I have decided to stay at this hotel from now on when I fly in and out 😊

Josh Fiallo

We were absolutely gouged for a breakfast that would easily be topped by most Hampton Inns After a mandatory $7 tip—despite being greeted with an annoyed employee, seating ourselves and serving ourselves—the price was $50 I’m annoyed to pay it even with a $30 F&B credit being taken off for being a Hilton Diamond member

Besides this, the property was elegant and clean, especially for the price point We loved the terrace especially That said, the rude non-service at breakfast (we sat ourselves, left for the cold buffet and returned to a $50 check sitting in the middle of our table) will probably keep us from returning, just because it was a bit insulting, really Others who we passed complaining to the front desk about breakfast likely feel the same The rest of the staff, especially those at the front desk, were incredibly kind and helpful

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel and found it to be great They have a great selection of food for breakfast (hot and cold) The Location was good for us

However, there was an issue with the bathroom sink water temperature It wouldn’t get hot but we were ok with it because the shower had no problem getting hot I’m sure they would have taken care of it if we had informed them but we didn’t want to have change to another room because we liked where we were Overall the stay was great!

Brenda Bailey

New place to stay We were there for 2 nights We have been traveling through several of the southern states staying mostly at Holiday Inn Express

This one had the nicest breakfast room and the best breakfast Food was cooked just right and had a variety The staff as in most HIE are friendly and helpful! We will continue to pick Holiday Inn Express on our stays!

MIKAL gangsters

The hotel was Moderatly great the bathrooms are clean it’s a very clean place most people are nice and welcoming however I will say during the complementary breakfast one of the workers dropped a piece of bread on the floor and then picked it up and put it back inside the bread case instead of throwing it away which is very deplorable So if you go be careful about the breakfast other than that it’s pretty good

Princess Santiago

Stayed overnight and our needs were exceedingly met Ally welcomed us with the most energetic greeting that really set the tone of our stay We didn’t have to wait long to check in and she gave us excellent recommendations for around the hotel including the 107 steak restaurant

When the pool was out of towels she checked in to make sure that they were refilled and that we were comfortable Our room was very clean and the bathroom spacious A nice view of the courtyard/pool and great amenities (microwave/sink/small fridge) if we were staying additional time All in all a great visit and I would definitely check in again at this hotel The shape of the parking lot is unique but It’s great that you don’t have to pay to stay unlike other Miami hotels Great location not too far of a drive from downtown and south beach, without the traffic (which is great in my opinion)

Katia – life is good with dogs

Friendly staff Clean building Convenient location

I was given room 318, a room with accessories for seniors (didn’t understand why it was far from the elevator if intended for elderly though) I wish they could had told me about the room before assigning it I didn’t ask for a different room because I arrived late at night But honestly I didn’t like having the shower seat, bars and curtains in the showerThe water pressure in the bathroom faucet was ridiculously low I reported it two times, but never got fixed during my 3-day stay I used the kitchen sink insteadHowever, when I asked for a hair dryer at 11pm, the front desk person took the time and effort to find one for me Kuddos to this nice (and tall) front desk guy!Overall, I think I would stay here again, and will make sure to ask for a regular room

Ericka

We are a couple who stayed 4 days, 3 nights in a larger studio King room Overall, we would return Specifics below:Pros:-Full Kitchen in Large Studios and up-Walk-in shower-Free breakfast-Clean Gym-Resturant on site-Size of room-Nice, quiet neighborhood-Free parkingCons:-Room service didn’t come until late in the day 4-5pm on the 3rd day of our stay and it happened to be our lazy day and would be leaving the next morning

Didn’t make sense at that point to clean the room so we declined-Room colors are out dated and a bit bland-Couch cushions moved around a lot while sitting on them-No meat options came with breakfast-Most of the housing staff do not speak English so asking for clean towels/rags were a task

It was clean and the room was nice The pillows were wonderful! However, Bookingcom told us we could park our car there while we went on our cruise, and that the hotel would provide shuttle service to and from the port

Both of those statements were untrue The woman who checked us in told us that happens all the time with Bookingcom Just be aware travelers, if you go through that website

Amanda Li

Easy parking on hotel premises with many available spaces close to entrance Check in was an easy process even though we arrived at midnight The rooms are big and spacious, and the divider between bed and sofa/TV area nice touch

The downside is the bathroom, where showers are open and water leaks onto bathroom floor after every use, had to throw all towels on floor to it walkable again after shower Also, the thermostats in the room don’t work so no way to adjust the temperature Hotel gas it set at 70, comfortable but on the warm side

Chadean Clunis

Positives: Nice view of a lake, pretty quiet, convenient locationNegatives: My husband and I were on our honeymoon and during our moments of intimacy a woman walked in without knocking, she stated it was check out

now this occurred at 8 am check out is usually 10/11 am when I confronted the front desk the woman apologized but it seemed extremely fakeI eventually spoke to the head manager who promised to send vouchers (which I never received)overall this was very disturbing I would say if you stay here remember to doubt triple clock your door for a potential peace of mind Also the nightly rate is not worth the overall experience For what you would spend here it’s better to stay on south beach

If you have pets

This is not the place to go It’s $100 pet fee per pet The highest pet fee that I’ve ever experienced from any Marriott hotel that I’ve ever stayed in Was also char charged a cleaning fee for pet hairLast year I stayed over 250 days in Marriott hotels Find a different one There are better pet friendly Residence Inns Great staff and still convenient commute

Breakfast is now microwaved sandwiches YuckGym needs cleaning & there are never towels to use

Floors in my room were in need of cleaningFront desk doesn’t recognize loyalty Front desk person was on a FaceTime call and she kept the call going while the phone was face up I inquired and it was only then that she disconnected Front desk doesn’t respond to the chats in the app When they finally did, it was 10 hours after first contactDoor to one of the entry ways is often not able to be safely closed behind youI have stayed here over 15 times in the last 4 years and have probably done so for the last time Many other options available now

The customer service at this hotel is very poor I am a Marriott Ambassador and I use Marriott hotels for business and personal travel I booked a room for my employees and they were not allowed to stay at this hotel

On several occasions I book hotels and sign a document allow them to use my credit card for all charges and never had a problem My employees were treated very poorly and told they could not stay there I attempt to discuss with the manager over the phone and was told no they would not help I sent them to a Hampton inn (Hilton Brand ) and they were welcomed and taken care of Management here needs retraining on hospitality!

Brittany T

I stayed at the Marriott a couple weeks ago and paid $25 a day for valet parking, which was a spot in the metropolis parking garage My car got broken into and my airbags were stolen Both Marriott & Metropolis refused to pay for the damage even though it was kept in their parking garage

Nobody would own up to it and kept passing the buck This is SUPPOSED to be a secure garage since it has cameras and only residents have assess What am I paying for if my car isn’t even safe? Be aware and do not stay here I’ve stayed at several Marriott’s and have never had an issue until here

To spend a night without leaving the airport is OK but no more than that The room needs updating I had some difficulty with the shower due to my size

The TV is limited to a few channels and some channels don’t work too wellApart from, very good welcome at the reception Very courteous staff I liked the color of the range of toilets offeredI didn’t have a good view from my room unfortunately so I couldn’t really enjoy my windowBut, being located at the hotel, you have a range of restaurants at your disposal and no risk of missing your flight But if you plan to spend more than one evening, it would be good to go elsewhere and enjoy the city a little

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t be disappointedThe accommodation was so amazing I missed my flight and the airline got me checked in to a room overnight I was greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome, provided me with any toiletries I needed and made sure I was had everything The room was clean, fully stocked and the bed was so comfortable I enjoyed my stay so much

Tom Burn

One night stopover in Miami had us stay at the Hilton Blue Lagoon It’s close to the airport but it can take a while to get on the shuttle and over to the hotel Despite it’s proximity to the airport you don’t get bothered by the airport noise

It was nice to get out to the pool and hot tub after our flight and watch the planes take off There’s a nice view across the lake of the sunset from the gazebo past the poolThe pool are and the rooms aren’t in the best shape, but for a one night stopover it was fineThe service at the bar was great, the waiter providing many beer samples for choosing what I wanted to drink Food seemed pretty good, but the breakfast experience in the morning wasn’t great and quite expensive if not included in your room rate

Hotel was nice, pool was amazing Great music played the entire time We all felt the pool closed to early and bar and food service weren’t available on Monday and Tuesday and we didn’t know that when we booked

The location was perfect, everything was so close to us Valet was awesome and never a wait for the vehicle and we came and went a lot while we stayed there they never got irritated at us and always on time Took one star because of pool closing early and no drinks or food for 2 days of our trip

Roof top pool was amazing It had two jumbo screens, a bar, ample space to get out of the sun Table tennis and a gym

The decor and vibe of the hotel was amazing The valet staff, front desk and even house keeping were all so nice and pleasant Plenty of near by restaurants to walk too or even deliver Should have taken more pictures these don’t do it justice

My boyfriend (choice diamond elite member) and I stayed here one night The staff was very friendly The rooms were clean

Staff are amazing , very clean all the time , it is what I call an oasis in the middle of the crowded city The breakfast is one of the best things about this hotel , the always have fruits and fresh daily, different a types of coffee, juice, cereal and I love the waffles What I can say is very good for this team to make this hotel better everyday

The hotel was conveniently located near attractions and the Rolling Loud festival that my son and friend attended Pool was nice, breakfast was decent and desk attendants were friendly Downside is that they have a current policy that they don’t clean the room during your stay there and we had to dispose of our trash and request new towels throughout our stay

Really great experience at Thesis for a family wedding! Clean, comfortable rooms with accommodating and friendly staff The restaurant is excellent and so is the service I only gave this 4/5 stars because the pool area wasn’t super comfortable – it’s completely shaded in the afternoon and located on the 3rd floor amid a total wind tunnel

Vipanj Patel

Highly recommend this hotel Very clean, the restaurants are fantastic and the amenities are very nice The pool and outdoor area on the 3rd floor, along the the live band, are great for hanging out and having drinks

The 2 restaurants are world class, with unique and tasty dishes and a nice bar Definitely stay here if you get a chance!

UM, August parent price gouging rates are $500+ per night (because UM starts) plus $35 to park in the next-door structure After parking, the way back to the hotel lobby is not marked at all, so it takes a while to learn the tricky walking route back to the hotel They charge for the Continental breakfast and $3

50 for lobby coffee They are very tight with the towels The card keys for the elevators do not work correctly, and two hands are often needed The elevators are slow for a 2021 buildingI had difficulty sleeping because all the rooms have very loud individual AC units inside We turned ours off at night but could still hear the truck-like AC noise from the room next to us all night long, on and off and on All the rooms have a very odd large picture of 5-girls white bathing suited bums out with their heads into white flowering oleander bushes This was strangeThe shower handle is very sharp and sticks out too far inside and outside the shower, so you might hit it with your elbow or arm, which hurts very badly The bed frame corners are also very sharp, so you will bruise or cut your leg going to the bathroom in the dark The chemical fragrance blasted in the hallways every day is intense and not necessary The windows are screwed shut, and no balconies Other than all that, it was good

Girls’ weekend Beautiful hotel Great amenities

Covid safe The manager Lynette went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied We paid for “the club”‘abs were treated to snacks, happy hour ( not bottom shelf) appetizers and an amazing breakfast buffet The employees at the club work very hard and we felt very comfortable considering it was buffet The pool area was lovelyWould definitely stay here again

Brittany Ammer

Our stay here was fabulous! From check in to check out, everyone was so friendly The views from our room were spectacular The wireless charging alarm clock and the removable/adjustable shower head were such nice touches you don’t typically find at a hotel

The pool was excellent and the perfect temperature It truly felt like a home away from home We will absolutely be back

Kathy Larsen

I love this hotel and always stay here when in town for business My other colleagues stay elsewhere, but I am loyal to this hotel It is beautiful and comfortable

I have always been treated like a VIP This hotel is most always lower in cost than others in the area Highly recommend (PS – NEVER heard an airplane from my room so not sure why others mention airplane noise – they must be at the pool or something I go there for REST)

I’m not sure what these recent low star reviews are all about This place was great! Clean Super friendly staff

Jose helped us out during a late check in The front desk helped us out with a shuttle to the port in the morning The friendly man working the breakfast was helpful I’m Hilton Diamond and this service was a good as anything I’ve received at any Conrad or CurioThe only minor complaint was a lack of wash cloths and pillows for a room sleeping 4 people But all we had to do was ask for more

Ernest Wirick

Absolutely worst Hilton property I have ever stayed in!!! Started off wrong when I asked to make an early morning airport shuttle reservation and I was informed the shuttle ran from 0900-1700 hrs only I said when I made the reservation I asked about an early shuttle and was told it wouldn’t be a problem at all Ironically, another couple was having a shuttle issue as well, we had to spend and additional $43

00 for an Uber The property was terrible as well When we first got there we took our bags up to our room and my wife noticed the toilet seat was extremely loose, she informed the front desk and they said it would be fixed before we got back, it wasn’t I tightened it up as best I could with no tools Next is a list of other issues; The bathtub is ABSOLUTELY DANGEROUS!!! There might have been non-slip in it at one point in time but it was slicker than snot and we are no spring chickens The shelf above the kitchen sink area was cracked and broken, the dishes were all wet in the dishwasher, there was a sleep mask that was found between the lamp and the wall(makes you wonder how well the room was sanitized Lastly there were some type of small bugs in the room, again cleanliness comes into question The picture I am posting Is hanging in their lobby, I will be calling Hilton next week to see if they stand behind it I chose this hotel specifically because of the free airport shuttle and made a note to ask about an early shuttle as well Will never stay there again!!

John Smith

This is a very nice hotel Looks modern and very well taken care of Staff is very cordial

A real bargain for the price If you take your pet make sure you get a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door (and also inform the front desk) if you don’t want them to come in if you leave your dog in the room We had a PET INSIDE sign which we were told would prevent cleaning service from coming in and they still entered the room frightening our dog while we were gone Otherwise it would be a five stars from me

I stayed for 4 days 3 nights I Thoroughly enjoyed my stay Everything seem to be just right

The continental breakfast was more than I imagined even though I only made it once for breakfast The room was nice and clean when I arrive with the exception of the broken jet tube that I Specifically paid for The floor was nice and quiet and the parking spots are always numerable The location was amazing the finest restaurants around 10 to 15 minutes away The staff was amazing and very helpfulConsThere is no daily room cleaning ($2000 additional)They are 2 bed covers and the second was dirtyThe air conditioning system makes a lot of noiseThis is not the Hilton , it’s best western and I enjoyed my stay

I recently stayed at this hotel The managements in this hotel is never to be seen Whenever I needed to talk to the manager they would always give me an email to contact the manager and she will not respond

I stayed in a room with cockroaches! Disgusting!! There is always suppose to be a manager or supervisor on duty for any shifts, as other hotels have so The front desk agent looked lost as if they haven’t been trained as well The next day I had help by this front desk agent named Emily She was able to move me rooms and made sure everything was okay in the room When I needed towels she will bring it up to me with no problem regardless if she was by herself I will love to meet the owner of this best western to let them know that their management is falling apart and I will most definitely not be staying here anymore Their own front desk agent that works in the afternoon looks like she can manage this whole place

Eliezer Romero

Always enjoyed my stay here never had a problem but today I got here for check in and they told me my room was booked to someone else I asked how that was possible if I booked my room on Monday days ago I showed them my reservation and had to wait to see what they were going to do

Finally, they were able to give me 2 separate rooms for my family’s stay, when we made our way to the rooms we open the door only to find out one of the rooms was already occupied with all there stuff Luckily At the time no one was inside Had to go back down to figure out if they could get another room, what a mess eventually we finally got another room, never had this happen to me in any hotel Won’t be staying here again

We have had a wonderful stay here Everyone has been so nice and helpfulI want to especially thank Angie for taking such great care of us

I told her about my love of Cuban Coffee and she made me some that day And then the next morning, while making my plate at the breakfast buffet, she brought me a freshly made Cuban Coffee She was truly a wonderful person Thank you so much She really made our stay

Katie McDonald

The woman that checked us in was great! Best part of the stay The evening clerk was exceptionally rude and seemed put out by the guests I saw walk to the desk Our room really want clean either

Styrofoam pieces in multiple places and the previous guests water bottles The sheets are very itchy and don’t fit the bed very well Door dash can not seem to find this place for deliveries either, it was a major headache It just isn’t somewhere we would stay again

D Rich

One night stay Located on the north side of MIA Two issues: (1) the elevator closest to the lobby was not in service and the secondary elevator was a long walk to get to it, so we had to use the stairs! (2) an alarm, possibly on airport property kept going off ALL NIGHT, so annoying! Would have been nice for a small discount due to both issues

The young man working the front desk when I arrived was very pleasant and engaging He did his job well and as the face of the hotel that evening, did the hotel justice by his pleasant demeanor

The stay here was excellent due to all areas being clean and tidy, the front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful Also, they had a nice “lending locker” feature I had not seen in other stays, which is a entertainment station Coffee was great, sheets clean, towels clean, and they have dish soap and a way to clean your dishes

I would stay again, highly recommend!

Vica V. K.

Nice service, clean, feels fairly new Little kitchenette in the room with everything you may need in the kitchen, tho dishes and silver only came in twos There is a pool, little gym, laundry available, lending locker, a large pantry with alcoholic beverage selection as well

But the best thing is we were able to bring our dog with us! 🐕😁🛏️

LEIA ESTRELLA

Great experience at the hotel cute little kitchens kind of hard to cook on such small ranges but at least you can cook we’ll you can cook we only had one problem and it was the laundry situation where they make you make an appointment but everyone that makes appointments never shows up so we figured why not just let us come to our d*** laundry Extremely comfortable beds very nice employees cute little shops in the LA Vida borrow equipment for the room or buy stuff cute pull outside free parking that’s abundant Close to the airport
