The people at the front desk were the nicest hotel workers we ever met! One of them even started a conversation with us One thing I would have liked better would be to have the signs in the lobby tell people that there was a pool on the first floor! I was pumped about hearing that there was a pool when we got there but I never found out until the morning we were leaving The food was ok but if your serving sausage then I want sausage not oil

The TV in our room (unlike the last hotel I went to) actually allowed us to play on our Switch The view from the rooms are also great Above all it was a great experience The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to go to DC but doesn’t want to wake-up to a myriad of horns honking,

Let me count the ways Trust me I am not the critical kind of guy 1) Basic stuff here the safe does not work

2) Human hair on the bathroom floor a lot of it 3) The ceiling fan was dirty 4) The sink was slow to drain Etc, I booked this place for 4 nights This is crazy, looking for a better place as I type I will talk with management before leaving It will cost me to leave this dump, sorry shack yes that is more accurate I hope the quality control will improve someday I was locked out of the room for about 45 minutes one morning the electronic door key system failed I was told I had to wait until the maintenance man came in LOL The office center computer system did not work the entire stay I was there Enough already, I guess I am the only one these things happen too They got a lot of great reviews

What a terrible shame I had every intention of leaving a five star review for this hotel until my experience this morning with the general manager First let me start with the positive

The weekend crew is absolutely amazing Everyone is friendly and pleasant I had moved to Homewood after a horrendous stay at another hotel I was so relieved to finally rest in a spacious, clean hotel with exceptional service The front desk even helped to accommodate my aroma sensitivities The room also comes with membership to Golds Gym which was a great perk which I sadly was unable to use, but is a great option The front desk team even checked in the second day to see how everything was and it was fantastic The breakfast on the weekend was also really terrific with sweet potato fries along with the usual eggs and two choices of meat Also, there were numerous choices of breads, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of fruit I didn’t actually eat much and looked forward to Monday Sadly, none of this was availableThe breakfast had one meat, only bagels and only “delicious” apples, which I abhor I found this odd, but ok…I will accept it Then, as I’m trying to relax with my rather limited breakfast, the general manager came over and started sweeping the floor near me…sweeping dust into the air and near my flip-flopped feet and naked legs When I commented that this was inappropriate, he simply said, “I’m sorry you were offended, but I needed to clean”1) At the time I came to breakfast, there was only one of fourteen tables occupied In other words, the place was almost empty There was ample time to clean2) Breakfast was closing in 20 minutes He could have waited until after I left3) I didn’t make the mess There was no reason to penalize me and force me to shower again because someone else made a mess at my feetI would normally keep this complaint internal and simply talk to management about the fact that this was unpleasant, but…Is this a major issue? No However, it shows an attitude of management putting their own needs to get their perceived job done above those of their customers, forgetting that their job is to service customers

Hilton hotels have been my go to for years The service is always good Not my most recent stay at this hotel

Probably one of my worst experiences at a hotelArrived at the hotel, “checked in” after a bit at the front desk, only to find out that I was mistakenly given access to a room with other tenants already occupying it We proceeded to exit the room and went back down to inform the front desk of what occurred Front Desk worked quickly to give me the keys to a new room thankfullyNext, we arrived at the hotel room and proceeded to get in the shower only to find out that the towels were soiled yellow by what appeared to be pee 2 out of the 4 towels in the hotel room were that way Same thing happened with the towels we got on Friday, at which point we decided to cut our trip short by one dayI called the Diamond Desk to see if I could check out a day early I was informed that since this stay was booked with my Hilton Points that I would lose them if we left early as they “Couldn’t” refund them I decided that staying another night was not worth it, and left even though it meant losing more than 70k points Left the hotel this morning without looking backIf you are thinking of becoming a Diamond Member, please don’t Its honestly not worth it based on this experience

Dillon Vautrin

This was possibly the best service I have ever experienced during a hotel stay The hotel staff really made my family feel welcome The front desk, manager and kitchen staff were all terrific

The pool and hot tub were clean The room was clean When a lot of other chains seem to be going downhill lately, our stay in Falls Church at the Hilton was refreshing I highly recommend staying here Thanks!

Well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, big TV with good choice of channelsThe toiletries are a bit stingy, the elevators on the slow side The on-site restaurant served good food but service suffered when dealing with large groups

The breakfast buffet had good selection of items with attentive service Buy your beer and drinks at the local CVS not the overpriced convenience shop A very handy 15 minute shuttle ride to Reagan Airport

Adeline Rudolph

The good:Attractive, well-appointed hotel, 1/3 mile to the metro Parking avail on-site for $40 per night you stay (which is pricey for the area) Beds pretty comfy

Safe part of town, close in (Busy) Starbucks onsiteWe stayed three nightsNot so good:1) they start knocking on doors to clean rooms about 6:20-6:30am I even heard the cleaning staff joking, “well, I’m trying but everyone is still asleep” Vacuum noise an hour before you planned to wake up isn’t great2) the a/c is odd, controls are on wall, though it seems like they’d be on unit Unit is loud and makes room fluctuate in wide range all night between very warm to very cold3) room was cleaned well, but odd issues like there was a brown stain on our shower curtain, rusty shower drain, a hinge on hallway door had thick paint melting off or maybe mold?4) shower head is lower, just at my hairline and I’m 5’8 No conditioner or body wash provided Just soap and shampoo5) driving here from the north is tricky, the 395 exit to Clark Street is a very poorly designed intersection so be carefulI’d likely stay again if the price were right Though I think I may find somewhere with cheaper parking (many in the city had $25/day)

Karimah J

The only good thing about this hotel is the location Other than that it’s outdated and not as clean as it should be I wiped everything down upon arrival and the handles were dirty on the dresser

Parking is also an outrageous priceOn top of that, I received a charge on my card from the gift shop I never visited When I called about it they had another cc linked to my account A manager was supposed to reach out but never didWhen I checked my statement a few days after that, they charged my card $400+!! I called and spoke to someone in accounting and he couldn’t figure out what the charges were Mind you, I checked out of this hotel May 1st and spoke to accounting May 4 & 6I check my statement today May 9, and have another $400+ charge to my cc that was charged Sat May7I’m disputing everything with my bank and I recommend everyone to check your cc statements after checkout Someone who works there is definitely doing something shady

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be let downI loved staying here! The rooms were clean and modern The restaurant was good The price was fair And – it had direct access from the lobby to an underground tunnel where you’ll find a network of stores and restaurants, as well the metro! It was so easy to visit any of the attractions in DC using the metro just downstairs I’ll definitely be staying here next time I visit DC!

Comfortable bed, good curtains, decent breakfast A working, functional toilet in the room would have added more than one extra star to this review We informed the front desk of our dilemma

An “engineer” was dispatched He arrived with a new flush mechanism The issue was blockage He said he would return with a snake to unblock it He did not; or did and was unsuccessful in his attempt When we returned to the room, the toilet was still fubar It was lateI do not recommend this establishment I certainly will not stay there again Cobwebs behind the door, leaking shower stall door, extremely difficult wall plug adjacent to the main table/desk, not mounted to a wall stud Very many minor “tics” in the bad column Not that many in the good columnStay somewhere else

Donovan Derrick

I recently stayed for work Work booked my hotel however, had I known I would’ve chosen somewhere else The overall experience was fine however, the room was far from cleanly

The microwave had crusted foodliterally crusted food and splatter from previous guest It was clear it hadn’t been cleaned The floor was also stained with what seemed to be soda or fruit juice I had a busy agenda and luckily only used the room for sleep however that simply is unacceptable for guests you’re supposed to prepare for The top of the fridge had leftover food, molding Disgusting!! The bed itself was fine, nothing to rave about and the bathroom was fine Honestly, for a Hilton property I would’ve expected better

Mark

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great The room was clean but they booked my room so they moved me to a handicap room As a diamond member I was hoping for something better

The pool was still closed due to covid which is crazy since Virginia is wide open for over a year nowOverall I enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff Please open up the pool

I have to say that the front staff is very helpful and professional My original room was nice, updates bathroom and very clean I had a issue with the TV since it didn’t work at all

Matt the attendant on duty came and checked it out, once he noticed that the TV needed to have a maintenance call, he switched my room without issues, double checked to make sure all amenities were in working order and then delivered the new room keys to me My second room was the same from the first I was right by the elevator, but did t hear a thing, seems like the room are well insulated Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in point I’ll be here again for my next work trip, glad to know there is a great staff here

Samantha Oney

The rooms are comfy and stylish and the hotel was nice and clean Though we were disappointed that the pool was closed and the shuttle wasn’t running But the staff were all very helpful

The breakfast bar was especially delicious with lots of choices, all kept fully stocked and fresh by Miss Debora She was so kind and friendly and very helpful She made sure to chat with everyone and make sure we all had what we needed It was a great way to start the day

Stayed at this location for almost a week Wished they would of extended my stay but that didn’t happen The person that made my stay enjoyable was Deborah

I’d give them 10 stars for the kind of service they offered The front desk staff are just so polite, super friendly and amazing Like all of them right from the one who was deputed at night who checked us in and the staff the next day morning

I have never experienced such kind of amazing service in any other Marriott so far You can book this place to stay without a thought and you won’t be disappointed

Jed Johnson

Clean, super friendly, and great costumer service I was on business and it had to be at my conference early I forgot my razor, called down to the front desk late to see if they had any for sale at the market place

No charge, the front desk offer to bring me one whenever I needed it This is the reason a stay loyal to the Marriott Brand Thank you for the great service!

tamisha Amire

The hotel was very clean and comfortable I was given a handicap room with a roll in shower not sure why My card was charged for $100 no one could explain to me why

I was told the manager would reverse the charge This morning I was charged an additional $120 I spoke with the manager Sherry who explained that I was not checked out of the hotel and the general manager charged my card I was no longer at the hotel So this place basically had a free for all with my debit card Now I have to wait for them to reverse these unauthorized charges I am very upset My card was charged a total of $220 without my knowledge or permission

This hotel is not in Alexandria They charge a $100 “refundable” fee on top of your room fee for incidentals This is not even noted on your room charge recipes

So I hope I am not going to be scammed out of $100 The first room we had smelled horribly of marijuana We had to ask to move rooms as there is no way I would stay in that room The hotelHas been updated but there are some things that were not replaced The bathroom door did not close The pool water was cloudy and the hot tub was closed The towels had hair on them The breakfast was decent We only stayed here for one night so it was good enough There area is a little sketchy as it is on the “other side” of the highway from Alexandria Staff was friendly

Cary Paul

The staff was great That’s about it The first room I received was across from the hotel’s laundry

It was extremely hot Couldn’t get the temp inside the room below 78 degrees The second room was better The area is unsafe While I was there a car was broken into and someone’s truck was stolen a few days later People yelling all night outside the hotel, traffic and fire trucks all night, It was loud all the time I could hear people talking in the hall and in the rooms next to meThere is large gaps under the doors so you hear everything I wouldn’t pay to stay here I found a roach crawling around and there is an ant problem The guy in the room next to me was spraying bug killer around his room He said he went a bought some Spend your money someplace else

Samantha Willows

We stayed here on our visit to DC A good choice, the breakfast was subpar (there were no make your own waffles, probably for sanitary reasons, and the sausages and eggs were not particularly delicious) but the rooms were clean and it was fairly quiet The carpets could use a good deep clean, but that’s the case with anything that gets foot traffic

Great place to stay in Washington The staff is EXCEEDINGLY helpful and kind to travelers! The breakfast is great

a bit pricey but remember where you’re at this hotel is very close to the mall, the Metro, and all sights you want to see The taxi service in DC is wonderful and the drivers are kind We attended a conference at the Hilton and the serving staff is amazing and professional The room service is well organized and prompt When you call the front desk to ask questions they want to help you every time Next time I’m traveling individually in Washington this Hilton will be my destination Thank you for a GREAT experience and for your thoughtful and kind staff

Malchik Robles

I wanted to give special thanks to this hotel for taking care of my folks over the fourth of July weekend I had four family members fly in from California, and they chose to stay here because of its proximity to our house and the city Firstly,

the rooms themselves are very spacious, and the amenities were super awesome! My family mentioned that the staff here really went out of their way to make their stay special Even my own interactions with some of the employees were always great The thing that we liked best about the hotel was its location There is a mall just a short elevator ride down to the lower level, and they have a food court and several major retailers Whats more, the metro station is located right downstairs, so we were all able to travel downtown to see the fireworks without the hassle of driving or searching for parking My people will for sure choose this hotel again the next time they come to visit us

Sarah Beets

Great location right next to the metro Easy access to shops like 7/11 and iHop We had an issue with our room where there was a dripping sound all through the night but when we alerted the staff they got someone in to look into it right away and when they couldn’t fix us they promptly moved us to a new room

Great place for a family and the coffee was great which always helps Will definitely stay again!

Convenient location to DC The hotel is clean and well maintained Beds were comfortable

Waitstaff were friendly and accommodating The food was surprisingly goodThe elevators were confusing as you needed to take 3 elevators to get from parking garage to your room There is no good way to use a dolly to get from parking garage to your room due to steps you had to take to get to elevator There was no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room We had reserved a room on high floor away from elevator, but we got room on lowest floor near elevator

Anthony

This was my first stay at a Le Méridien property It definitely was not a disappointment as the property felt more luxurious than your typical premium category under the Marriott portfolio As ambassador, I used a suite night award for an upgrade to their Executive King, Studio Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed, City view room

I was particularly impressed with the comfortable beds and the overall bedding itself The property accommodated me by granting me my Your24 request, exclusive to Ambassador Elite members The front desk check-in experience was pleasant This was only a one night stay and I did not eat on the property so I cannot attest to the restaurant and bar on site, although I recall it being filled with people so it must’ve been good If you park a vehicle, you will have to pay at the garage, which is not owned by the hotel, but it isn’t terribly expensive like other places especially ones in DC itself Outside of airplane noise from nearby DCA, the building was very quiet I would stay again

Christian Ardito

The best feature of Le Méridien Arlington is their extremely professional, helpful and friendly staff The hotel lobby and hallways are nicely decorated and have some charm However, once you get to your room, the suites are very small compared to other hotels nearby

The bathroom is particularly small, with very little space between the small sink and the toilet, and from the toilet to the shower The decor is likely decades old and it shows I requested an allergen free room, and indeed the room did not trigger my allergies but I had my doubts considering that the carpet had several noticeable cigarette burns – which only reinforced my impression that the room hasn’t been renovated in decades I believe most hotels banned smoking more than ten years ago The toiletries were nice but not nice enough to offset the occasional discharge noise coming from the bathroom during the night The AC was extremely noisy and blew air directly onto the bed, which is not ideal in my opinion, and I have a suspicion that the thermostat wasn’t accurate since the room felt considerably colder than what the thermostat indicated All in all, I would not recommend this hotel, despite the great service In fact, if I have a choice, I do not intend to stay at Le Méridien Arlington again

Lil Threadz custom shirts for the whole family

I rarely write reviews but my husband and I just had a wonderful stay at the Lorien We only did 1 night but we wish we could have stayed longer The hotel was immaculate

The room was spacious, updated and clean Extremely comfortable We travel often btwn TX and NJ and this is a great , convenient pit stop I should also add that we are traveling with our dog and it’s a perfect walkable neighborhood

Cosette Livas

It was a bit overrated They charge for EVERYTHING, and really you can’t tell why For a Spa the TOWELS in the room were rough, the beds are NOT Queens they are Doubles, they only have double beds at the elevator and in adjoining rooms, I have request for neither and could not be accommodated

There were some staff that were very helpful and provided extras when asked, but for what we were paying we really shouldn’t have had to ask for enough towels etcThe location is great especially if weather it goodIf you Valet, look behind you if you don’t see him, they sitting in their car? (crazy) but they were able to get car to you when neededThe BEST part was the restaurant that is connected We did dinner thereTOP NOTCH, PRICEY BUT I WILL SAY WORTH IT The Mussels and the pastayummy David was the best waiter ever and we did see the value thereA friend recommended this place and he admitting stayed there years ago, he loved itbut when we told him our experiences, he said obviously they had changed management or ownershipWe even heard them charging a person for Early check in, the person walked up and said she was there, if room was available great, but if not she just wanted to leave info at desk for when ready, she was in a conference there the girl proceeded to check her in, says room is available and then addsthat will be 4500 early check in the guest was like wait, what, I said I would waitit’s crazy sneaky stuff like that, that really not goodOh and the Happy Hour wineis Woodbridgecome on give me something for the 2500 FEE you’ve tacked on

This review would have had more stars but upon check in the glasses in the room were very dirty Additionally when my boyfriend woke up the next morning we found a used condom by the side of the bed Totally unacceptable

The operations manager did call to explain how this is not up to standard etc which I did appreciate but just sucks It was my birthday and not how I wanted to spend the day Ended up checking out Unfortunate situation If you stay here please check the cleanliness of your rooms Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant Wish I had a better overall experience

This hotel was amazing! My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we truly enjoyed this hotel Check-in was pretty quick Continental breakfast was available every morning

Food was pretty good Rooms were amazing! I had 3 King Suites (2 bedrooms) and all three were spotless Great location right across from the Metro station Also, there was a 2 hour reception every night that included 2 free drinks per person per day Very thoughtful! Lima was amazing, and even gifted a later check-out time due to traffic My only complaint was parking, but that was to be expected

Cocktail hour was great Room clean and comfy Staff very nice

Would have given 5 stars if trash cans in elevators has not been overflowing onto floor If you don’t have staff to empty cans don’t put them out Also have to ask if you want clean towels or room trash emptiedBreakfast buffet was well maintained

Great stay over the 4th of July weekend! Although the hotel was very busy, they were extremely attentive to any need we had! Great included breakfast! They went the extra mile and reached out to offer a late checkout on our departure day…which helped us out immensely Great location to the train as well! Will stay again when visiting DC

Courteous, helpful and professional front desk staff Solid, clean room and comfortable bed Appreciated the quiet room location as requested

Great water pressure and instantly hot water Best hotel gym I’ve used Good housekeeping, though sometimes forgot to refill coffee pods Microwave and fridge provided at request were very worn; fridge was warmer than 40 degrees F and microwave panel was detaching but worked Unbeatable location adjacent to metro stop, mall, and restaurants; 10 minute walk to grocery stores and 15-20 minute walk to Pentagon Overall great stay and would definitely stay again

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you choose this place you won’t be disappointedExcellent location and service Rooms can be a little dated and though everyone loves an Honor Bar option, everyone also would appreciate some refrigerator space for their own things The mall and metro proximity with a three stop proximity to city center make this an excellent choice

My husband & I planned a weekend getaway and stayed at Ritz Carlton (Arlington, VA) on January 9-10, 2022 We had the most phenomenal experience! The cleanliness, the staff, the high floor room, and the Mediterranean restaurant, Santé was simply mind blowing! The location was also perfect! The hotel was connected to the Fashion Center it made it quite convenient for us to enter / exit the mall via the hotel I will definitely plan a trip to stay at the same place & book the same room again

Loved every bit of it! ♥️

Phenomenal hotel The staff was friendly and very helpful I have to admit that I stayed in a regular room and a presidential suite and they were both fantastic

Obviously the presidential suite was next level awesome (tv in the shower and bathroom mirror, seriously) but both rooms were beautiful If I had to make one downside comment, it would be that the bar closes too early 10 pm just didn’t meet the mark but the food was delicious and the bartenders are very talented They also have an amazing selection of top shelf bourbons I highly recommend this hotel for a stay and for any major conference or event What a beautiful venue

Marie BC

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted Our room was upgraded The only negative was the price of parking increased because the correct price hasn’t been uploaded to the internet , so the vendor we went through provide incorrect information

I think the hotel should ensure this is corrected Apart from that our stay was enjoyable and the staff was very warm and helpful

Service was excellent Cleverly designed storage solutions throughout suite makes for a more comfortable extended stay Very pet friendly

Stove/oven combo is small, but adequate Missing a few kitchen essentials – prepare to purchase a few pans or adjust your meal plans accordingly Outdoor grills are a nice option Grocery store, restaurant, barber, & liquor store in the shopping center right next door Internet was hit/miss, especially during peak usage times Parking lot accommodated vehicles w/trailers and one semi w/trailer (2 would be pushing it, though)

I was completely satisfied with this Hotel I really liked my room It was a perfect size

I loved everything about it The room comes with a “OVEN” yes a real oven I’m from California so any hotels in California do not give you ovens they will supply you with a toaster oven I recommend this place I really liked it not only that they have a bunch of different types of snacks in the lobby the closets are really big go check it out

Pros: The room layout was greatCons: Didn’t receive any maid service Several doors didn’t close properly

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel This hotel “understood the assignment” when it came to true customer service Booked this hotel for my senior parents visiting from southern VA

Front desk, friendly, polite and smiled every – single – day They immediately, with no problems, upgraded my parents room to a studio because my dad was weary of staying on a floor above 3 The boxed breakfasts were nutritious, delicious and high in protein The hotel was spotless and smelled nice and fresh All hand sanitizer stations were filled and usable No hassle parking From the complementary bedroom slippers, to the bottled water, just and all around EXCEPTIONAL experience Great location My parents were very pleased and LOVED the comfortable bed They also felt very safe in the area I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, especially for seniors

Michael Gracey

I stayed for two nights (Friday/Saturday) to extend some work travel while taking advantage of a discount offered by the hotel Staff handled check-in courteously and expeditiously Complimentary parking was located in garage across from hotel (would have been nice to know on email confirmations)

My room happened to be in a corner on the second floor The room was predictably clean I appreciated a couple of small things such as complimentary bottled water, Malin&Goetz bath amenities, and a couple of books for reading if I was interested (I was not but appreciated the gesture) The bed and sofa both had firmer feels than other hotels at which I have stayed (Both were acceptable though and maybe understandable given their newness with the renovation) The shower design somehow encourages water to pool rather than drain, so I hope something can be done maintenance wise as they renovate Road noise is noticeable until midnight, so I would request a room at a higher floor and facing away from Lee HighwayPrices at first glance do not seem terribly unreasonable without the discount (hopefully they will stay reasonable after the renovations finish later this year) All in all the location proves a great reason to stay for a night or two and eat through Mosaic and surrounding restaurants within walking distance and movie watching at the Angelika One could feel good supporting a boutique hotel brand staying here

Jessica Kim

Excellent location and most importantly excellent hospitality The location was fantastic and accommodated our late check in request The room was in good condition and left a very nice gift basket for us to enjoy my promotion

This made this hotel outstanding I would love to visit this location again after their remodeling is complete Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you won’t regret itRoom was clean and spacious The bed was very comfortable and the staff was super accommodating When we had an issue with the temperature of the room, they immediately sent up a fan to keep us comfortable

Great rooms!!! Clean, minimalist hotel with good environment, restaurant was 10/10, food 10/10, parking 5/10 you have to walk to get to your car I just wanted to say ALEX should be a MANAGER here

He was so kind and knowledgeable of everything The only one We think he should run the whole receptionWhen we got here after a long drive we had to wait 30 minutes to get it out room because someone mix our names and gave our room to someone else which is understandable but unacceptable, that’s why my 4 stars

Brooke Justis

This is our second time staying here (our first was the night we got engaged!), and the place is great Wonderful price, clean and spacious rooms, reasonable parking, and friendly staff! The location is wonderful! We were able to walk to the national mall easily, where my fiancé proposed, and return to our hotel for the night Will most likely stay here again!!
