Clean Spacious Comfortable

Room had a very well appointed kitchenette including a full size fridge, microwave and dish washer Huge TV! I appreciated the rolling desk, ergonomic office chair, and copious amounts of electrical outlets Breakfast was above and beyond a continental breakfast seen anywhere else and would rival an all inclusive resort Staff was friendly and approachable

Perfect hotel in a great location, grace and staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay Clean, quiet and tons of outdoor living space which is great Views of the mountain or golf course behind which is also a great course

There is an airport about 5 miles down the road so during the day you do have small planes overhead which we actually enjoyed, do not believe others who say its too loud, we’re on the 4th floor and had zero issues All in all probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in!

Place is very nice on all fonts except 2 which is why I have given a 3 First Is personal service Everyone is very nice and does their job but there is no personal service

For example, they do not offer any rides to the airport which is less than 10 miles out So a reserved Uber is 60 dollars considering luggage They will not even bring a luggage cart to your room Was told they don’t do that This may be snobby but for 350 a night, a price that was raised when we got to the hotel after a canceled flight, and they were booking fast, you would think they would offer some help So that brings me to the second reason which is price With no other benefits other than the nice building itself we spent 600 for 36 hours of “figure it out yourself” said very politely though At this cost, it is not a 5 star or what I expect of a 5 star paying this much

Mary Williams

The staff is very nice and professionalI turned down my bed and found crumbs in it The clerk immediately got me moved to another room

The manager had a problem with me making a complaint about it and was disrespectful, rude and didn’t want to listen to meThe breakfast was good Overall the hotel was nice

JP Allen

Holiday Inns are a very standardized product and so my rating is exclusively based on the staff and maintenance The front desk staff is very, very good I wouldn’t be shocked if they are poached in the near future by someone willing to pay them more

The maintenance is also very good at this location I am uncertain if the place is newly remodeled but the carpets and wallpaper are all in good shape The bathroom is very clean and the drain empties well

Beautiful building, nice location, and friendly staff, but this hotel is seriously lacking There are certain amenities that are expected in any hotel, even down to the humble Motel 6 Google states that this is a 4-star hotel, yet they have no luggage carts, no room service, and not even a pen or pad of paper in the rooms

TVs have limited channels and no way of plugging in your own streaming devices Room had some damaged tiles and a bathroom that could not lock as well A comfortable bed is not worth the price at this hotel

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointedJake B at the front desk was awesome way above and beyond expectations! Made more than happy and comfortable to stay here! Corey Burke

I have stayed here a number of time over the past 5 years It is an ok hotel but the service this time was very poor (bar staff was fantastic) I stayed 3 days and on the second day I requested to have my room cleaned and was told no that they would not

This was requested at 7 am and was told they could fit it inI am a titanium status member and stay over 100 nights per year at Marriott chain hotels I have never had a hotel that told me they would clean my roomThey only put enough towels for two days At $200/night I expect much better

Alright, positives hotel room was big with a king size bed Very spacious, clean, great comfort for the price! Great presentation of the towels and the furniture, felt upscale 2 min

Walk to Starbucks and 4 min Walk to Waffle House! Right off the highway 60 Negatives honestly none The people working the front desk are friendly and helpful! I’m definitely coming back!

David Landry

Very Nice Hotel and the price was affordable at a time that I feel that all motels are overpriced compared to when I traveled during the previous year The hotel was going through renovations on one wing but the other wing was nice The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating and the room was very nice and comfortable

The hotel is located in a good area of Mesa very convenient to major highways I would definitely stay there again Highly recommended!

Jen Garcia

Any good reviews for this hotel is a lie or staff are filling them out to boost ratings It was the absolute worst place I’ve never stepped into in The walk down to the room smelled like rotten carpet

When I walked into the room the smell was horrible it stunk like cigarettes and mold The furniture was outdated and had a slimy feel to it There was water spots on the ceilings Even the phone had a dingy yellow color and feel The curtains were from the seventies and the yellow paint was ugly When I told the front desk person he said that he would refund my money and that he wasn’t there to argue After I never received my refund I called and spoke with dean m He stated that I forfeited my refund and when I complained I threw my keys on the counter and refused any other room that was offered which was not true When I asked the first name of the employee that first told me he would issue my refund dean m kept hanging up the phone on me

The front desk attendant was super nice and friendly She took the time and listened to my mistake in booking Asked if I wanted to confirm the right location had an availability before we cancelled

She was gracious enough to wave fees associated with a late cancellation, even though we were going to another Marriott Thank you for your flexibility and understanding, that is why we are returning Marriott loyal customer

James Law

My wife and I always stay at the courtyard by Marriott by LAX whenever we go visit her family so when we went to check out Mesa we wanted to stay with something that was familiar, and it most certainly wasCheck in was very easy and straightforward, our King suite was spacious with ample room for the pack and play for a toddler and the 2nd floor balcony was safe for her as wellI would have liked a safe to keep our valuables in while we were out and about, the bistro prices for the portion sizes were a little disappointing, and the 3x markup for their wine was absurd

If you’re looking for a safe place to take your family while you’re out on vacation, you should check this location out

So whatever reason Google won’t allow me to go back and edit my original review so I’m adding another one to add to the absolutely horrendous experience here if you are one who has no patience don’t stay here I didn’t get any sleep last night I was up till 5:00 am listening to other people and other rooms then I had to be woken up at 7:00 a

m by somebody else’s alarm the TV channels take about 45 seconds to flip through so you’re sitting there for almost an hour just trying to get through the 60 channels that they have waiting to see what’s on TV because their channel guide doesn’t give you a program just a channel listing I gave up after numerous attempts to sit their patiently and try to find programming on TV that I wanted to watch I just turned it off the internet here is absolutely horrendously slow if you do business don’t do it here If you’re trying to get away for a nice relaxing peaceful getaway don’t stay here I highly recommend not staying near the pool as my ground level room had crickets in it despite never even opening the window or patio door This hotel has lots of little tiny problems that become great huge nuisances

The hotel was extremely conscious of being cleanly The complimentary breakfast is over and above so wonderful the kitchen staff are amazing The front desk people are really nice and housekeeping helped me with any thing that I needed thing that I was disabled it was a few things

This hotel was so nice I think I could invent a reason to come back! The room was really big and the rolling shower was excellent It was hard to get to the pool area with a wheelchair without help The door is heavy Everywhere else was fine, even ice machine!

Kayla Vecchiarelli

100% recommend! We are a family of 4 and try to keep things budget friendly yet comfortable I was so happy with this hotel and especially the staff! Everyone was SUPER friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was really good! Our kids had a great time in the pool and enjoyed this hotel so much I can’t recommend it enough, especially for the price, awesome deal! We will be back for sure!

We were supposed to be celebrating our son’s wedding but this stay turned into an absolute nightmare I called on 2/11/22 to ask if there was a handicap accessible room as my husband & I are disabled I was assured by the person with whom I spoke that she confirmed with the hotel there was 1 room, which she booked for 2 nights, 2/18-2/20

We got to the hotel to change & headed right out to the rehearsal dinner It wasn’t until we returned that we noticed the toilet was so rediculously low I had trouble getting up & there were no bars near the toilet nor anything I could grab to get up We had to call paramedics twice that night because of a couple of episodes I noticed the shower was also not handicap accessible I was assured on the phone it was a walk-in shower but it was a tub & only had 1 grab bar for assistance After the 2nd call to paramedics at 4 am, they arrived but had to wait a few minutes because no one was at the front desk Throughout the night we expressed our frustration with the situation, lack of disability aides (seat riser, grab bars, shower, etc) for persons with disabilities & the front desk clerk was the only person there As I was packing to leave, I noticed there were only TWO handicap parking spaces for the entire hotel! Also, the curtains didn’t close, the middle panel was sheer, so there was no privacy We left at 5 am, my husband missed our son’s wedding because of all that happened & additional pain he was in from the waiting

Some guy tried breaking into my room who identified himself as the general manager Front desk confirmed it was the GM No real explanation why the guy was breaking into my room but thankfully he didn’t get in

Debating calling the cops to report Will never stay here againUpdate: After contacting Hilton customer service, the best they could do was to tell me that they refunded my stay (which happened on checkout) but no explanation as to why the man was breaking into my room or how they would prevent it happening in the future

We chose this hotel because the rooms are dog friendly and the cost to bring a pet is cheaper than most other places The rooms were very clean, modern and even smelled fresh The carpet in our room was clean with no stains

The bed was super soft and comfortable Free continental breakfast, outdoor eating area and a nice pool and hot tub outside We liked that the hotel was in a relatively peaceful area, with some fields next door 👍👍

Trisha Waid

For being a brand new hotel you would think it would be clean and nice The beds were so cheap you could feel all the springs Walls and floors were paper thin

Our tile floor in the room was dirty with numerous brown footprints, brown liquid leaked from the bathroom fan all over the toilet and floor while taking showers We cleaned it up the first night and let the front desk know the next morning They came and fixed the fan as well as had someone clean the bathroom That persons idea of cleaning was to wipe the toilet down and leave the dirty towels on the floor with all the brown stuff we cleaned up and left the tile floor as is This is complete laziness for the staff of Holiday Inn and not up to par with their “clean commitment” program The tile flooring is very good at “hiding” spots that need cleaned In my opinion staff is sweeping the floors and not mopping them b/c they hide stuff so easily Floors should always be mopped!!

Bobbie Poindexter

Holiday Inn Express has been our go to hotel accommodations for the past 12 years when we’re doing Road trips This visit to Gilbert, Arizona was our very first significant issue We checked in after 4 p

m and immediately left the hotel to get dinner We returned to our rooms took hot showers and went to bed My daughter complained that she could smell strong urine Although there were no visible stains or dampness on the sheets, my daughter and I both lifted the bottom sheet on that bed to inspect the bed and the smell of urine was very prominent We were not very happy It is questionable whether or not the linen was sanitized and whether or not the housekeeper changed the linens before making up the bed We requested housekeeping services and the bedding was changed on both beds The staff was very courteous and breakfast was as good as usual

Good location but service wasn’t great Asked for towels and to change our beds They put bedding just inside the doors (which I guess is fine) but didn’t take any used towels

Didn’t remove any garbage from the rooms for 7 days we were thereAlso, we were informed that the pool was out of service for the whole staywhich is why we booked here Would have been good to have a credit or knowledge prior to arriving

Rebecca Kinder

We had a room issue upon arrival and Dorlan, the resort manager, went above and beyond to resolve the issue The resort staff were friendly and accommodating Rooms were spacious and clean

The location of the resort is quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, which was perfect for our family of six My children greatly enjoyed the basketball court, playground area, and especiallythe pool, which also had a basketball goal and various pool rafts and toys for the kids We also appreciated the close proximity to Usery Mountain Regional Park, which had some great hiking trails A great place for a family to stay while vacationing!

Heather Brown

Overall, it was a great place to stay with kids They have a pool, 2 Jacuzzis, sand volleyball, basketball court, shuffleboard, and ping pong tables The downfall to thus place is what everyone has said, the walls are very thin, and you can hear your neighbor like if they’re standing right next to you

Also, no one ever came to clean room or brought clean towels I also requested 2 beds but only got 1 king, employee said they were all booked and could not switch our room, yet the 3 rooms surrounding us and 2 across from us remained empty our whole stay But the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable after a long day I would stay again

Reserved a block of rooms for a wedding and arranged a shuttle with the hotel to/from the wedding venue for the guests Had email confirmation of pickup times for the shuttle Day of wedding, guests called me to inform me the hotel had no record of shuttle being reserved! After many calls with the hotel and the person I dealt with for the bookings, the person told me they forgot to tell me they had canceled my shuttle reservation

This was at 4:45pm on the wedding day ( pick up time was scheduled for 4:15) This left hotel guests confused and then having to drive and be late for the start This was not something I should have had to deal with an hour before my daughter’s wedding Hotel might have been great (I did not stay there) but I wouldn’t recommend for events where you want their shuttle for transportation

Tara Bowers

I’m only giving two stars because the people at the Bistro are very nice And most of the front desk people were also very friendly We stayed here four days and our room wasn’t serviced once

We asked multiple times if we were on the list to have our room cleaned and was told “yes”, but it never happened After staying with two young boys we really needed just one cleaning I was even willing to do it myself I even called to see where I could take our garbage and no one could help me with an answer

ERIC *

Complete DisasterShow up to find that the room did not have a fold-away couch bed as PROMISED at our 3am arrival, their solution to their screw up was an Air Mattress

Really?? Paying over $400 night, and they give me an Air Mattress?? It was So Loud and Uncomfortable I slept on the floor

This is Arizona It’s 100 degrees outsideTook a long time to cool the room down but it did eventuallyBed was comfortable and everything else was niceRefrigerator and microwave is a big plus

Alyssa Robertson (Starkillersbae)

Most of the experience was great I would however say that for the price, I’d probably stay somewhere else next time I was highly disappointed by the amount of things on all of the walls that could have easily been cleaned off with just a small bit of effort on the part of the cleaning crew

We also found small hairs on the comforter of other people and when I asked for another comforter they said they didn’t have any and gave me random blanketsI shouldn’t have to tell my children they cannot touch the walls, or use the beds sheets/blankets when we paid $250 for a total of 13 hours I ended up going to target and buying sheets myself to cover the beds because I just couldn’t trust it it makes me sad because this is where we typically stay when ever we need a hotel

It seemed to have the feeling of being in an old ghost town, to be fair, Many of the other hotels did as well I am a city girl and not used to such scarcity of people They are also seemed to be just enough staff to keep it running

There was a small eatery in the lobby with beer and wine, everything I had tasted great It’s not a luxury hotel but the rooms appear to be clean and neat That said, there was a temperature problem in my room and no maintenance man to fix it, but they did switch me to a fully functioning room

Richard Beecroft

The GM Charles Barron is absolutely amazing with his professionalism and Bella was a pleasure to work with at the front desk Charles understood that there were a few issues from the sister hotel next door and he did an amazing job reaching out and taking the time to remedy and respectfully work to make me understand the whole belief and hope for the organization Charles is an absolute professional and Marriott is lucky to have you! Well done!

Booked for 5 days We were told they don’t clean the rooms unless requested Sounds fine

We figured 3rd day get it cleaned, toss the trash etc,, first morning shower not draining No drain just a plate in addition no door it just had a half fixed glass Terrible design , the water splashes out on to the floor making a mess The maintenance man came over pretty quick He knew what it was Under the steel plate was a drain full of hair Obviously it wasn’t cleaned in a while I don’t think they clean them regularly as he said he has several every As our stay goes on we ask for coffe cups, shampo etc It is a pain to ask for , amenities every day Staff was excellent They were working with what they had You can tell they were doing more than what staff does Third day room get nasty We ask them to clean our room, trash is full, wet towels for several days at the shower The tell us we need to call the night before We schedule for the next day In the meantime we need towels and amenities They said housekeeping would deliver them We come back at the end of the day with a bag on our door, 2 towels something like 30 vials of shampoo and conditioner No coffe , cups etc… We leave early the next day and pack our items to make it easier for housekeeping Left a nice tip Called them again to make sure they clean our room Yes we are on the list Came back about 8 pm to wet towels , garbage etc Called front desk ,after a conversation The front desk guy came with amenities a big garbage can not for garbage but the other towels I didn’t really notice but there was garbage and towels all along the hallways We were there during the week and I believe it was busier on Fri and Sat Made a call to corporate, they made a case Told them staff was excellent … however the design and housekeeping are a huge problem Unacceptable

A great two night stay at the super comfortable Hotel Staff are professional and friendly Having something to eat and drink at the bar was pretty good, the food was fresh and delicious

A few times I would take it out to the courtyard which was really delightfulThe pool was great and a lot of fun The rooms a modern clean and very comfortable which was excellent for a business trip Although I had to change rooms the first night due to a noisy air conditioner The front of the house was very fast to remedy the issue and made a room change as seem-less as possible Bravo!! I would definitely stay here again

Very enjoyable stay, comfortable king size bed, there are a bunch of outlets on both sides of the bed, complimentary coffee and tea, small fridge, (although no microwave, there is one in the snack room off the lobby) When you get to your room, the TV is on and shows a greeting with your name There is a video running that explains how they do their cleaning and sanitizing procedures

You can scan the QR code and use your phone as a TV remote (or you can use the actual remote) No room service, but you can order and pick-up down stairs at the bar There are tables you can sit at or take your order back to your room The prices for food are pretty good and you get a lot! If you want housekeeping, you need to request it a day in advance However, you can request items (we got coffee packets each morning) at the front deskAll the employees were very nice to us and we would definitely stay here again!!

This place was great, Jesse was so accommodating and nice to our family He noticed we could use extra space and upgraded us to a suite with living room and two bedrooms each with a bathroom Every time we saw Jesse, he asked if we needed anything and was just genuinely pleasant

This place offered wonderful amenities like a full breakfast, putting course, basketball court, pool and spa I recommend staying here and just really want to recognize Jesse for going above and beyond!

This hotel is trash in every way you can think Front desk agents including the front desk managers do not make you feel welcome Nobody here does their job and the only decent employee they have (Megan) works night shift

I am not somebody who writes reviews but in this case I find it necessary I’ve worked for hotels before, I know how they operate and this place makes their guests feel like they’re a burden

Very impressed! The hotel was clean, rooms are clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries, a coffee and wine bar, staff was very helpful and friendly We were there for two days and we had our pets with us and the hotel is very pet friendly with designated areas for pets needs There is a golf course next door which is very nice and though the freeway was next to the hotel too, which makes it convenient, we couldn’t hear the traffic at all, very quiet

Will definitely be staying there again on our next visit!

I only came here for my son to do his state testing for the school he goes to I can only rate the appearance and the feel of the place so this rating is not about service of rooms or rooms in general This hotel is pretty sweet on the inside,

It is atrium style and snazzy Their is a cool restaurant that is in the atrium area Pool is normal size nothing super fancy in that area but I really think if the rooms were decently priced or even in mid range it is worth it

Absolutely WONDERFUL! The lobby was extravagant and even had a bar and a place to get tons of snacks The elevators were very cool- they had a window to see as you went up/down and we’re actually quite fast The breakfast was amazing and had a great variety- eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more

I stayed in a junior sweet The beds were so comfortable as well as the pillows The entire room was very clean, to the point of which if you looked you wouldn’t be able to find even a speck of dirt The staff was friendly and helpful Overall I would love to stay here again

Very nice hotel The shower is VERY slippery, so be careful Hope they don’t get sued someday

Television is awful No streaming Only satellite tv and channels change slowly, no menu It is a comfortable hotel other than those 2 things Glad they kept the big heavy door for the bathrooms, because Marriott is replacing those with glass doors

The property is nicely landscaped, and there’s a beautiful pool (which we did not use) Bedding needs to be updated — the mattress did not provide much support, and neither did the pillows, but the hotel was quiet and in general we slept well As with many hotels these days, you must request housekeeping the previous night if you want it

Our room was very clean Breakfast is ordinary — cold cereals, instant oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, precooked fried eggs, sausage or bacon, plain toast or bagels, yogurt (off brand), bananas, make-your-own waffles, juice (from a machine), coffee and tea Very good customer service at the front desk, especially from Kimberly, who was very professional and friendly Overall, it’s priced right for what they offer

Angela Geurts

The bed was comfortable (always my most important item 3 stars for bed), room nicely updated, all in good working order; mostly clean Corners not vacuumed/dust visible, two cleaning rags were left in the roomThe main check in area was nice, but common areas went downhill from there

A seven floor hotel, only one small elevator was working, but buttons/interior looked hammered 8×10 print out hanging about breakfast had spelling errors – fixed by hand; overall giving an unprofessional feeling The stairways seemed particularly neglected; carpeted stairs were filthy, and I think it would be safe to say no cleaning there for at least several months Very dim lighting on very narrow stairs, lots of dust on pipes, walls in need of paint, outlets in need of repair- all looking pretty grimy Exterior parking lot door often didn’t work with key, and the door was beat up and looked like people often damaged it by opening with a crowbar Parking lot and exterior of building in need of resurfacing Overall it isn’t a place I’d feel safe to be at alone outside, or on the stairs/elevator One fire door on property has duct tape all along the edge…? I’m not sure if the pool is open, it was locked by key when I looked- I never saw anyone in it all week, although it seemed nice Beautiful outside extension area, off breakfast door with gazebo, shaded and pleasant in the mornings Couldn’t access the guest laundry because the room key wouldn’t open the door Breakfast was as basic as it could get, no variety each day: sausage, boiled egg, muffins in bag, instant oatmeal packets, waffle batter available, but griddles not working properly-only one star on the breakfast

I want to thank the staff at La Quinta Mesa for taking such good care of me and my husband last week We encountered a family emergency and had a loved one in the hospital nearby We checked in without a reservation at 8pm and were able to extend our stay daily (as needed)

We accidentally lost an important bag and the staff went the extra mile trying to find our personal item I can’t thank you enough for being so kind during a tough time I give a 4 star rating because of the food at this location I have stayed in many La Quinta’s over the last 15 years More warm food options would be a great addition to this location (scrambled eggs and bacon?)
