We have stayed at this hotel every year when my husband has had appointments or surgeries at Johns Hopkins hospital This was the first time that we have felt that the quality of the hotel had gone down significantly as had the quality of the staff The beds were extremely uncomfortable and although we had requested it at check in, we never received housekeeping even once so after 5 days we had piles of trash in the room

Our comforter if you could call it that consisted of the dust ruffle that normally goes on a bed to hide the frame (see picture) and this was what they used as a blanket with a very thin duvet on top of this We asked for blankets at the front desk on our first day but they were never brought to us so we did not sleep comfortably during our entire visit They said they were shortOn blankets but would do their best The staff at the front desk was not downright rude but not friendly and they appeared bothered when we needed to ask them simple questions Although the location is convenient, we are going to look for another hotel to stay at during our monthly visits to Baltimore this coming year If you valet your car don’t expect the valet text service that they use to be working and you will not discover it to be broken until you arrive to pick up your car and find the valet person chatting on a couch instead of getting your vehicle This may or may not be their fault but a faulty text system is what they claim Upon check out I requested a copy of my bill and was told that it would be emailed to me so apparently getting a paper copy at check out was not an option When I did receive the copy of the bill I had been charged twice for valet on a given day which then necessitated a phone call to the hotel in order to get the $3500 charge reversed This was done promptly which I appreciated This has always been our go to hotel and it was sad to see it being managed like this A comfortable stay is a minimum requirement

Great staff, great location, room left MUCH to be desired So to be fair—we booked same day and the thought crossed my mind that we may have ended up with one of the “good enough” rooms that don’t get assigned unless they have to be Check in was great—Yvonne was super welcoming and helpful—confirmed that we asked for 4 extra pillows (our kids are pillow fiends) and off we went

The pillows never showed up (don’t know whose shoulders that falls on) Had trouble getting to the room as either our key card or the card reader in the elevator was messed up—seemed to be a bit of both When we got to the room I got the distinct feeling that something was off For starters, there weren’t 4 towel sets, the hotel-provided body wash was missing, there was missing flatware (which we later found dirty in the dishwasher) and there was coffee and a cup missing It felt like the room hadn’t been turned over since the last guest had stayed…except the trash was empty and the beds appeared clean It was unsettling, I’ll admit My husband told me I was being paranoid but I’m fairly certain the room hadn’t received the attention it was supposed to We tried to call down to the front desk but the phone wasn’t working and every time we hit the front desk button on it the line would ring and ring and then hang up on us There was no binder or info about the hotel in the room with an actual number listed for the front desk so we couldn’t call down either Not sure if that was because of covid or was just missing Not a big deal but would have been nice to have at least the TV channels listed so that we could more easily avoid content that wasn’t appropriate for our children Overall the room was somewhat run down Chipped furniture, wallpaper peeling, slow draining sink, melted spots on the carpet, linoleum in the kitchen peeling up…The couch was honestly dismal—the cushions so squashed that when you sat on it you ended up sitting on the front lip of the structure (both uncomfortable and made legs fall asleep) The first night (of the 2 we stayed) I cut my foot on a line of exposed carpet tacks between the kitchen and living space My husband flattened them with a coin and his shoe I did bring this (and the sink) to the attention of the front desk (after having to go down in person) and they offered to send someone up and we declined as we had fixed the tacks and didn’t care to have anyone working in the room Oddly there was no dish soap (but there was dishwasher powder)—so we ended up washing dishes with hand soap Just FYI there was no corkscrew in the room—I suppose you could request one but we were too lazy to fight the elevator (literally—the card reader worked about 50% of the time by the 10th try—we rode up and down almost every time we used it multiple times trying to get to the floor we wanted) to go to the front since we couldn’t call downParking is valet for $35 with in and out privileges or self parking for $25/day with no in and out privileges The garage for self park is attached to the hotel and can be reached from insideThe pool is actually in the Maryland Athletic Club, which is in the building complex They have an agreement to use the gym and pool Both are nicely equipped overall from an equipment standpoint—-the pools were clean (have seen better days from a coating standpoint) It’s salt water based instead of chlorine, so not as harsh The kids are only allowed in the splash pool, which is heated to probably 85 degrees and max depth is 45 feet, minimum depth is 3 feet and it’s a stairway entry There is a lap pool that is much cooler water and a larger pool that has a sloped entry that adults and teens can use There is also a hot tub The locker rooms are well equipped with a sauna, showers (with soap and shampoo/conditioner) and a suit spinner You have to take your hotel key and photo ID with you to gain access and have to have shoes on until the locker room They provide pool towels You have to shower before getting in the pool (locker room or pool deck)

The staff was nice, our other hotel canceled on us last minute and we were able to get a room here, the room was nice but there was a weird red stain on the carpet outside the bathroom, everything was fine until it was time to leave and Valet lost our car keys We’re currently waiting for someone to drive 5 hours to bring us a spare key Awful experience

I stayed overnight with my daughter and she said it was the best day of her life! Great location, lovely staff, clean spacious room and the indoor pool was a bonus! We walked to the historic ships and the National Aquarium, the restaurant was not open on the night of our stay but the hotel provided a list of local eateries and the breakfast cafe was ideal We will definitely be back!

Tom Tom Scott

Well me and the wife stayed here for an anniversary getaway The service was absolutely amazing Ms

Michell at the front desk sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne Complete surprise for us We were just having regular conversation and she sent us a gift Very attentive and caring to our needs and privacy Mr James the concierge made sure we barely lifted a finger or the phone He knows all the good spots close by We loved the view and the staff

James Coutourier

The staff is great with good hospitality The location is actually even better, right across the street from the beginning of the harbor A very peaceful hotel but It’s way overpriced

Very old looking with a weird carpet stench Chipped walls, chipped doors Looks like an old Catholic Church Doesn’t have a good view either compared to other local hotels Old dirty carpet ! It was a burn mark in the unattached foot rest not to mention it didn’t even match Just a badly designed hotel for the price Needs remodeling

The finest hotel we have ever stayed in We default to Marriott and have stayed at legendary, impressive brands The Ivy outclasses them all

From the moment we arrived and handed over our car to the valet, we knew we were going to be cared for by a well-trained TEAM Every single member has obviously been trained in service and teamwork They were simply outstandingThe concierges all had a broad knowledge of the surrounding area but were obsessed with making sure we received the experience we wanted They were pleasant and engaged without being garralous They paid attention When I highlighted a possible error on a 2rd party travel website, they took it personally and got to the bottom of it They understand service is not perfection, but a relentless commitment to teamwork and continuous improvementThe food was splendid The breakfasts were delicious, the daily afternoon teas were refreshing, relaxing, and welcome Dinner was always deliciousSo the price is higher than usual-and 100% worth it Yes, they provided value to us as clients and we would gladly return Spectacular time!

We really enjoyed our stay here The hosts are absolutely lovely and so very interesting The breakfast was excellent

Our room was very comfortable and quiet I was amazed to learn that the inn was sold out because I didn’t hear any other guests It was only when I saw others at breakfast did we realize we were not alone I will stay here again and recommend it to others

Eric S

My stay at Wilson House B&B was three years in the making, but more than worth the wait I enjoy old charm and turn of the century hotels and houses I had found Wilson House while viewing the Baltimore 10-Miler race start/finish and route

It is perfectly central to the light-rail line serving BWI and Amtrak station, eateries near the art college campus, local eateries down the street, and Druid Hill Park – the race start/finish I stayed two nights Clelia is a delightful, dutiful host Wonderful stories to share, enjoys talking about the multitudes of collections of all sorts of things throughout the house: artwork, international treasures, her husband’s (Guy’s) challenge coins and military (mostly nautical) models, and more She is also a wonderful cook The table setting in the morning, I felt like I was English royalty preparing for tea The evening wine and cheese time was pleasant, relaxing, and a wonderful opportunity to meet other guests Guy was not home during my stay Perhaps another time I am not posting pictures because you need to see it all first hand for yourself My room was the Purple Room A private room with private bath 3rd floor Lots of steps as there are with old, tall homes Window A/C units in each of the bath and bedroom Bedroom closet is a large walk-in with a sitting table should you need to sit down to put on makeup or get ready The shower head is an adjustable wand with multiple settings If the water pressure is weak, turn the head and you’ll be fine Enjoy your stay!

Miss Lapid

Enjoyed my very first ever B&B experience!Guy and Clelia are such wonderful hosts Their house is immaculately clean and filled with amazing items Guy collected through the yearsThe Victorian architecture is complemented by good solid furnishings and modern conveniences

I am so impressed that I already booked another night!

I picked this hotel because of the close proximity to the aquarium I would like to give it a 5 star but was turned off because there wasn’t any washcloths in the room when we checked in so I asked the front desk for some and she stated she would send someone to our room A few minutes later there was someone at our door but he stated that they didn’t have any washcloths and handed me two hand towels and stated that I could use it in place of a washcloth due to not having any? I don’t know if this meant that the hotel didn’t have any at all or if there wasn’t any clean ones? I assume not at all due to not having a single washcloth in the room upon check in

Other then that the hotel was really nice, love the elevator The parking was great and was attached to the hotel You have to pay to park but its expected in this area

Mary Murray

The employees made it excellent, along with other kind hotel guests Yes, it needs refurbishing, yet when there is a “Miss Penny” who understands we are disabled and treated us so very well for some delicious breakfasts that matters more than a few stains on a carpet The bartender was gracious when I asked for a scotch after my husband had a small hissy fit which upset me

I gave the Porter who took our luggage down a $20 tip He arrived promptly did his job politely and I so enjoyed his reaction The Front Desk Staff was always willing to give us more bottled water and coffee podsNone of these individuals had to be so cheerful and helpful They did it because of who they are I believe they are grateful for their jobs, hopefully enjoy working for the Hyatt Regency and are, quite simply, just kind, good people We had a wonderful time

Lawrence Duffee

This is hard to narrow down I stayed 4 nights recently for work The location is fantastic, very convenient to the Inner Harbor activities

All the staff were friendly and helpful All the meals I enjoyed as part of our meetings were delicious and well presented Those are the good points I stayed 4 nights Not once was our room serviced I asked at the front desk and was told rooms are only cleaned every third day? And yet the rooms across the hall were serviced daily There is only 1 tiny rubbish bin in the bathroom that was soon overflowing I looked for 1 near the ice machine but found none The shower was lovely, but only provided water that was either boiling or freezing, nothing in between You had to decide each morning whether you wanted to freeze or boil I opted one evening to have dinner in the Bistro 300 restaurant The maitre’d told me to pick a table, which I did And then waited And waited After nearly 15-minutes I left On the lift back to my room there was a large advertisement for room service “Just look at the menu in your room and call for service” Looked in room: no menu Dinner that night consisted of some snacks I had in my bag Would be hard pressed to recommend this hotel

My bf and I came to town for the reggae festival and we’re very pleased with our stay at the revival The decor and atmosphere were on point and very homey/comfortable We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was phenomenal, had some coffee at the cafe, and were blown away by the speakeasy

The room was spacious and comfortable The bathroom had a privacy space with the toilet and shower which is always a perk We loved the valet service (thanks Walter!) The security was also a comfort (room key to enter after hours and to go to certain levels of the hotel)We will be returning and highly recommend

The Elwoods

We have stayed at many hotels in Baltimore while visiting family and Hotel Revival is one of the best It is a gem of a hotel The historic building has been beautifully updated and decorated

The room was clean and spacious and the bed comfortable The room was very quiet and had a lovely view of the Washington Monument and park We had an amazing meal at Topside But what sets the hotel apart from others is their top notch staff – concierge, valet, housekeeper, bartender, waitstaff – everyone was so friendly and helpful We could not have had a better stay! Thanks Hotel Revival

Joe Dagosta

This hotel was probably the best hotel stay I have had in recent memory You can clearly tell that whoever redesigned this hotel put extensive thought into every single detail from the lobby to the restaurant, bar, and the beautiful rooms The rooms here are absolutely massive, and I was surprised to find pour over coffee I the hotel room and some really nice teas

The bathroom was also huge, and the toiletries were great Everything was clean, and the room was pretty quiet at night I loved all the details in the room including the carpet, bedding, lighting, furniture — everything Even the restaurant space and the speakeasy had so many intricate details I 100% plan on staying here again if we find ourselves back in Baltimore

I hosted my wedding reception here as it was central to my wedding ceremony and in a safe part of the city The staff was amazing and did what they could to assist I will say that it was quite difficult to get guest from the first floor area to the dining area

There should be a group elevator option As we get back to normal from Covid, the staff did everything possible to keep everyone safe while having a good time

Farid B

Disgusting customer service even being a Hilton honors member cancelled far ahead of time only to be charged a full “penalty” because they couldn’t rent the room out? Makes zero sense when they themselves gave me a smaller room than I needed Absolutely zero remorse from the manager, have been using Hilton for more than 10 years

Never again Hilton Better to stick with competitors who at least look at you with some decency Hilton corporate was just as useless What sort of business is this? I didn’t even have a no-show, which even then some hotels refund/give credit I cancelled far ahead of my stay Horrible I’ll be pursuing this matter professionally

Boosted Dc5

Paid $1100 a night for a presidential suite Extremely overpriced for what you get Two tiny rooms, a small sink a counter as the “kitchen”

Asked for early check in and not only could we not get early check in for a room we spent $1100 a night for, it wasn’t even ready by 4 O’Clock which is the standard check in time $30 a day parking + 20% fee Couldn’t even work a single day pass for one car You’re supposed to get $15 in credits to spend in the store that’s in the lobby of Hiltons and this one decided not to have one, so another waste Pretty pathetic honestly

This hotel is really the best in the area The rooms are very clean and spacious and the staff is amazing! Clifton is the best and every time I stay here he always greats everyone who comes through the door and is so kind! He helped me with a small issue with my room without hesitation; you could tell he really cared to make sure I was happy and comfortable I made the mistake of booking too late a few weeks back and had a horrible experience at a hotel not far from this one so I am so happy to be back and I definitely learned my lesson and will make sure I always stay here! Staff during breakfast were top notch! They were very kind/courteous and made sure that everyone and everything was clean and sanitized for the guestsNewly renovated rooms were gorgeous! Great job updating them However, the only bad thing was that we were there for a week and thought our rooms would be peeked in on (to empty trash or give us fresh towels or more toilet paper, etc

I know with the new Covid protocols that they may not do so regularly, but thought maybe at least once during a week-long stay would have been nice We had to ask for clean towels (since ours would not dry from showering), more soap/shampoo, and toilet paperOne evening, we came back to the room and found that our window and sheers were opened (making the room really muggy), but the room was not refreshed We were confused why someone would come into our room and open our sheers and window Nothing was taken Went to tell the Front Office Manager at the time, but she didn’t have an explanation and seemed to shrug it off It was a little unnerving

Definitely worth the price, kind reception, good breakfasts, and pretty clean place No fault of the hotel – but woken in the middle of the night many times to loud cars in the parking and screaming in the hallways I wish the hotel handled that better and also the people who sit/sleep in their cars in the parking lot? They can be a little frightening when you are trying to get home late or leave early

The previous reviews of this hotel must have been paid testimonials, because overall, this was by far the WORST hotel experience I have ever paid for I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, and I recommend that others looking for a more affordable option stick to Holiday Inn At least they give you the basics

I felt like I had just moved into a college dorm room completely unprepared, with nothing but my suitcaseThe Sonesta ES Suites in Columbia Baltimore was very run down The rooms look amazing online, but they are nothing like that in person The least they could have done was ensure the room was cleaned properly But with trash left between the nightstand and bed, missing bar soap and sofa cushions, spotty hot water, and no cable access, it was not up the standards I expect from a hotel The internet is so bad, I had to go to Starbucks everyday to finish my work I would’ve been better off staying at an AirBnB that had no amenities I assumed that a pet friendly hotel would put more effort into cleaning My room smelled like wet dog all 3 weeks I was there I had to light a candle everyday to try to mask the smell There is also no access ice, water or any type of vending There was a water dispenser in the gym, but to be honest, I’m not sure if it was filtered It looked like they had a snack shop at the front desk, but with all the mess behind the counter, I couldn’t really tell if they were selling the snacks, or if they were for the staffThe front desk staff members are very unhelpful and have terrible customer service skills They act like they hate their jobs and doing anything to assist you is a huge inconvenience The manager I spoke with wasn’t friendly and instead of fixing the issues in the room I was given, just put me in another room that had just as many, if not more, issues than my original room The walls are EXTREMELY thin, so much so that you can hear someone sneeze not to mention entire phone conversations The laundry facilities are trash, so you’d be better off washing your clothes in the sink And breakfast was hit or miss I suppose it’s a good option if you want free food, but if you don’t like microwaved eggs and sausage, just use the in-room kitchen to make better food It may take 30 minutes to boil water on the tiny hot plate, but it’s an option I would give zero stars if I could

Pretty good! The layout of our King/pullout room was railroaded, so kids had to walk through our room to go to the bathroom in the night, but it was great for a blended family w 2 teens to have a space that divided into two rooms Staff were accommodating and the bed was comfortable Breakfast was very good and the location was great for walking to the aquarium

The historical building is charming, though expect to hear city noise overnight per other reviews Thanks for the solid stay!

Great Hotel in the heart of Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD Able to walk to everything-great for families visiting places like Port Discovery children’s museum, Aquarium, Ships, and Science Museum! They offer an amazing breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc) They offer heavy appetizers every evening such as Spaghetti with sauce, fajitas, meatballs, popcorn, etc from 5:30-7(goes over 7pm if busy)

Saves on meals! Spacious rooms, 2 queenbeds with couch, apt size refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, comfy beds, kitchenette stocked with dishes, silverware Extremely nice staff, and very clean Will definitely be returning back the next time we visit as they continue to completely revitalize the harbor back to its old self!

The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient to get to all the Baltimore attractions Antonio works very hard in the breakfast area to keep everything well stocked in the buffet area Our bed was comfy and the kitchen area was nice

I wish the room was a bit bigger to have a chair or couch to sit on, but we made ourselves comfortable in the common areas around the building instead Would recommend and stay again!

My large group and I stayed one night at this hotel Our flight (Spirit airlines) was canceled from Philly to NOLA and the only alternative flight was the following day from Baltimore at 7pm I quickly booked this hotel and just assumed we would have to deal with being cramped in a small less than favorable room

I was wrong! The room was spacious, beautiful and cleanthe staff was incredible Special shout out to Margo! She was so kind and accommodating We were blessed to encounter her The free breakfast was delicious (waffles, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, breads bagels etc) we washed our airport clothes (small coin fee the hotel provides detergent) Margo provided us with a late checkout due to the circumstance and scheduled a shuttle ride to the airport Thank you so much! We will definitely be back if ever in the area!

We were traveling through the Baltimore area and booked this stay in advance Romelo provided outstanding customer service at check-in, honoring our request for a pet-free room Our room was exceptionally clean

We liked the layout and found everything we needed in the kitchenette Check-out was seamless and we enjoyed the breakfast options of waffles, yogurt, fruit, juices, pastries, and to-go granola bars Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful

Van Mckennon

This place overall is a great stay!! Especially for pet owners I love their pet policy and the housekeeping staff is very friendly and thorough with the cleaning overall A slightly annoying staff member and a lil bit of updating needed in the bathtub irritated me while there

However the friendliness and efficiency of the managers as well as most of the staff, made up for any glitches The hot breakfast, pool, and gym are all great additions I do recommend this hotel and will try this brand from now on when traveling with or without our pet

We visit this location for a wedding this past Friday and loved it The food was great, the servers were amazing, and the view was breath taking One of the best parts of the evening for my fiance and me was chatting with a bar tender named Mark

He was very socialable and made the best drinks! He even went out of the way to make us a special drink we had never heard of Best drinks ever I hope to make it for us, as he gave step by step instructions to make it So if you are ever hear and want to try a great drink, Mark is your guy Thanks for a wonderful even Four Seasons!

I was married at the Four Seasons at Baltimore in September 2012 I continued to frequent the hotel 1 to 3 times a year, spending thousands of dollars each visit I have spent over $100,000 dollars at this hotel since 2012

On August 13, 2022 I did damage their “$4,000” TV I was told that I should pay to replace the TV We settled on $60000 dollars, after significant negotiations I can’t shake the sadness I feel with the result It feels very unfair I realize may have damaged the TV but I also know how much value Ive brought this company year over year I’m sad because it will be hard for me to come back to any Four Seasons hotel that puts profit above relationships I am fairly young in my vacation life with at least 40 years left of amazing opportunity That said, sadly it will not include the Four Seasons

As expected, the hotel room (Lighthouse Suite 1511), the location, the concierge, spa, in-room & valet services were top notch The online booking process as well as navigating the app for quick chats with concierge (Thanks Michael for the flowers delivery & birthday cake!) were key to the experience which was to celebrate my partner’s birthday All of the staff including Damien were friendly & helpful, plus Moses was able to direct me to a barbershop app for a much needed haircut

Also, I’d like to thank the spa manager who mitigated a slight moment of displeasure when we were unable to take full benefit of all the spa services after a VIP couples appointment He assured us of access for the remainder of our stay, provided birthday champagne & truffle chocolates as well as entertainment ideas during our stay I also want to add a special mention of Ryan and Jasmine who performed our massages – absolutely outstanding, relaxing experience for us both Our room was impeccably cleaned, had great flow & views (bonus in earshot of concerts below), as well as comfortable bedding Lastly, we patronized both the Azumi & Bygone restaurants which also did not disappoint Dinner at Azumi was fabulous & the brunch buffet on Sunday at Bygone was an equally delicious feast & the perfect end to a thoroughly enjoyable getaway

This was not a comfortable stay for us It was not a nice Embassy Suites The entire hotel seemed unclean and outdated

I can’t even get into all of the details of the different issues with thatOur room smelled terrible The couch in the living room was so dirty I asked my daughter to not touch it The curtain rod from the shower was hanging down from loose screws on both ends of it, from the walls We could not even keep the shower curtain closed enough for water to not come out onto the floor And we could only shower after having maintenance come up to jimmy the faucets to get them to workThe back of the toilet tank was broken, there were stains on the bathroom floor The carpet was very dirtyAfter just feeling so uncomfortable in the hotel itself, we were at least looking forward to breakfast Got down there at 6 because we had to hit the road, and waited for a while only to be told that because it was a holiday, breakfast was not until 7 That was annoying because not only were we told 6, we were also given a piece of paper that said 6 o’clock The man sending us away actually argued with me and told me I would have been given a piece of paper upon check in that said because of the holiday it was 7 I pulled out the paper to show him, which said 6 And another couple standing and waiting with us, had actually just called the front desk and were also told 6 So we had to leave without eating and go find a gas station breakfast so we could hit the road Really just annoying and disappointing Not a fun stay

Visited MD 5 times within 3 months because I’m buying a house and, so far this is best hotel we stayed at Amazing location, Hotel is gorgeous, staff is nice, unlimited parking… but few things why I’m not giving 5 stars- 1st and most important, room cleaning service is available only every day and you HAVE TO REQUEST IT FIRST

So if you booked for 3 days or 2, your room will not be taken care of- Rooms are too close to each other Almost no privacy When you open your room, a bunch of people can see inside if they are outside in front of their rooms, on the balcony or even in the elevators which are fully transparent- The breakfast service has this lady who is so unprofessional and rude Zero customer service I went to breakfast on day 2 and it was a very nice and professional gentleman making the omelettes On day 3 it was a lady and literally everyone was complaining about her attitudeOverall, it was a good stay even if I called a week ahead and specifically asked for a baby crib in my room for our little one but it was not there Luckily we got it about an hour later after checking in That didn’t affect my review I wish I can give 45

This past weekend we stayed at the Embassy Suites at BWI We spent 36,000 points for a suite and were super disappointed When we arrived our room only had two towels and three pillows, which clearly isn’t enough

The room overall felt dated and honestly dirty The carpeting was pulling up in the common areas The shower was tiny (see photo) and there was mold around the whole base The shelf in the shower had been ripped out of the wall and never put back up, so our shampoo and soaps had to be placed on the floor (see photo) The floor of the shower was also poorly patched leaving it super rough The toilet paper holder had also been ripped from the wall and not replaced (see photo) We told the front desk, but I think they misunderstood and sent us extra soap and toilet paper The staff was struggling due to the hotel being booked and them being stretched thin The evening reception was poor We were limited to three drink options and poor bar snacks There were only two staff members, so the drink line backed up to the lobby Again, we have no complaints with the staff, there just weren’t enough of them Then for breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the crowds There was only one person bring out food, which left the counters a mess and everything constantly empty The man was trying so hard to keep up and he was so kind, but in a fully booked hotel, one person is not enough for this task The parking lot was dark and there were hardly any open spots We came across a car (not far from our own) with a smashed window and all the tires missing (see photo) There were no cameras or security around the parking lot, which was super alarming Additionally, this was my first stay I have had since achieving Hilton honors diamonds status and nothing was mentioned or provided regarding my status during my stay

Every single person we interacted with (bellhop, valets, servers, bartenders, concierge, housekeeping) was professional, enthusiastic, and helpful By far the best experience I have ever had with hotel staff-I feel like every person truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfectThe building itself is beautiful-full of marble and ornate columns

I appreciate that a lot of attention was paid to historical details and maintaining the feel of the original buildingOur room was nicely decorated and very quiet We didn’t hear anyone in the halls and we barely heard any street noise The hotel gym was a lot bigger than I expected and well stocked with machines and equipmentWe will absolutely stay again next time we are in Baltimore!

Loved my stay here! Everyone was so kind and friendly Of course the hotel is amazing but the breakfast was the cherry on top ! I ordered the veggie eggs; and they were loaded with veggies! The sweet potato hash (words cannot describe) reminds me of my great granny’s cooking 🥲 fair price/ great portionsOnly thing upsetting: I woke up 3 am dehydrated and went to the mini bar to find lack of choices and drinks weren’t cold

(It was too cold to run out)

We discovered a bed bug problem in our luxury suite (one of the spa rooms) which we got refunded for, but it obviously ruined the stay Especially because they were fully booked that night and had no contingency plan for relocating us My partner and I stayed here one time before that and both times the hotel service was not great

No fault to them, they were super kind and did whatever they could for our check ins and the bed bug issue The problem was that we waited in long lines for a single person behind the desk who was also answering phones for the entire hotel They just seem chronically understaffed and scrambling to do things for everyone in a timely manner It gives me such mixed feelings because the rooms are awesome and those jetted tubs are amazing (they’re honestly the top reason we came back, along with the large windows that make the room feel even bigger than it already is) It’s such a cool and well-preserved historic building I’d just be cautious of these issues when deciding whether it would be worth the cost of your stay Oh and if you do stay there, make sure you check under the mattress for bed bugs!
