From the outside this place looks very nice It also pet friendly which is a plus Our room was not the cleanest

Phone didn’t work which made it kind of difficult to call the front desk when we found dirty sheets on one of the beds We ended up getting the clean sheets and changing them ourselves The employees did mention they were short staffed which is understandable I would definitely try one of the other nearby hotels before this one

Brittany Shipman

Staff is very friendly, otherwise it’s a nope for me The lobby and first floor hallways have a very lovely appearance Change floors and so does everything else

Room was dirty The sheets were clean but both bed’s sheets were SO very damp it was awful – maybe due to lack of air circulation in the room, maybe not dried completely before putting on bed The bathroom was NOT cleaned other than linens The toilet had no lid which was very odd to me but just a personal preference The shower had mildew on caulking, previous guests hairs throughout the bathroom area and overall shower appeared dingy Tables, alarm clock and lamps had a LOT of dust which indicated that they had also not been cleaned Did not go to complimentary breakfast because I was ready to just get my night of rest and leave

Let me start by saying I’ve been staying at La Quinta inn’s for the last 5 years on my vacations Usually 3 times a year This is by far the WORST one I’ve been too

Started out with the rudest ignorant desk manager Probably racially profiling us Whoever was working the night of March 20th 2022 needs retraining or just be fired Simply asked for an upgrade and she said with a nasty look ” we don’t do those” Okay Then asked if we had a dog, we said yeah a small chihuahua She said with a sour look, screamed DOG!!! DOG!!! Okay The rooms toilet seat was busted Very loose Pillows were hard as a rock Walls paper thin, can hear everything Don’t even bother with breakfast Guess hot breakfast is never returning Probably just going somewhere else next time

Great clean hotel with lovely staff Easily meets and exceeds in a few areas the 4 star hotel requirements Spacious guestrooms and bathrooms that were clean! The view from some rooms aren’t the best but that’s about the only negative

Good location, good parking, it does cost per night though, and walkable activities Will stay again

We loved the clean, crisp atmosphere of this hotel The beds were comfy and the bathtub was cleaner than I’d ever seen one at a hotel! Shout out to our housekeeper Barbara! Aliyah at the front desk was super sweet and patient The pool was a perfect temp and very clean

We were surprised by the parking fee while checking out Otherwise everything including the variety of foods offered for breakfast was great!

RosebudEnt

I had a great 2 night stay! The location is right where it needs to be Everything is within walking distance Hot breakfast is complimentary and everything was good and well balanced

There is a fee for parking, however, but it isn’t unreasonable I’m thinking about coming back to see the Legacy Museum next year (w family) This is where I intend to stay!

Diana L

Loved our stay here! We drove through Montgomery to go to the Legacy Museum The rooms were immaculate Beds were so comfortable

And we loved having a full sized refrigerator And the air conditioner worked GREAT! Good since it was in the dead of summerEveryone at the front desk was super helpful Haley checked us out and was great The breakfast was pretty extensive They serve breakfast until 9:30 We got there about 8:30 and the grits were gone And the eggs and French toast sticks were also gone And the coffee was empty We waited about 20 minutes until some more food and coffee came out No more grits though They do have waffles you can make It was clear the crew was doing everything they could They could have had a rush of people or some extenuating circumstances But just a suggestion to get down there early if you are looking for a full meal

Rob Huffman

Very impressive property located right in the heart of downtown Montgomery Unique in that it used to be a warehouse and they have a lot of exposed brick and beams that they kept in place This adds a nice ambience to the property

The service was terrific, including everyone at the front desk, especially Tasia Also, have to give a shout out to Sue Haney in housekeeping who could not have been more nice and outgoing! The rooms were nicely appointed, and most importantly, very clean Overall a terrific and enjoyable experience Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the futureIf I had one complaint…parking costs $25 per night!

Joy Milkowski

I debated on the stars to give because the room I ended up staying in on the first floor was fantastic, well appointed, quiet, and unique It had soaring ceilings and a combination of dated elements that gave it character and modern touches that made it feel chic Another plus was many of the staff were friendly and helpful

However, there were some issues, biggest of which is parking There is none You have the choice of expensive valet, parking at meters that start at 8am or a parking garage blocks away If you’re walking around downtown it’s fine But if you need to get around by car, it’s not at all convenientThe other challenge I had was my original room had several issues with the lock Rather than take my word that the keys were not working, the night attendant had me cycle the keys a few times before trying them himself and realizing the lock was faulty This was all taking place at 1am, which made it worse Thankfully, I was moved to a lovely room after the back-and-forth on the keys

Edith Ayres

Unbelievably beautiful rooms Spacious and clean enoughVery quiet location right next to Starbucks

Very kind, professional, responsive, knowledgeable front desk associatesThe only downside was the lack of valet service While there is a valet service available, they provide no assistance in locating luggage carts, loading and unloading, and the front entrance is atop a steep inclineOtherwise I can’t wait to stay here again!

Dana Willever

Great location to shopping, restaurants and the interstate! We stayed one night on our way to Gulf Shores; it was so nice and clean Honestly, it was the best Day’s Inn I’ve even stayed at and seen! The beds were super comfy, room was a nice size, bathroom was clean and put together, no issues with the air conditioning and decent breakfast! Only thing I would say negative is that we were told they don’t honor member pricing on the weekends This is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard with staying at hotels

Nothing is on the website or paperwork that states they don’t honor member pricing on weekends, that I saw That said, we didn’t get points for the stay I’m going to call back and see if a manager or someone has a solution to this The stay itself was fabulous and would stay again!

Chris Widner

This is the third time that I have stayed here That makes me loyal customer I would think Every room has been clean and I would give five stars and I gave a five star rating before I gave my experience anyway and I will be back soon very soon! Thanks Days Inn staff for such a wonderful experience and do take care as well

May God bless each and every one of you!

Been there with a group for three weeks, with five more weeks to go We love itExtremely responsive and friendly staff; big rooms; very quiet (well-insulated walls); a great location

Beds are wonderful; really good mattresses Pet friendly; Washing machines; Barbecue grill The A/C and heat work beautifully And extremely cleanWorking Fireplaces too!!!A terrific place to spend a month or two— let alone a few nights

Roberta Goodson

When we got there we had the unexpected $100 security deposit

then was given a room that wasn’t cleaned and was already occupiedthe second room the hot water didn’t work and we was told that basically the owner was aware and he’s compensating people if they decided to stayhow are we going to stay when there’s NO hot water! Then when we suggested they inform people of this we were told “her boss didn’t tell her to do that” 😑😑 then we were rushed to come down to get our refund Don’t waste your money or time!

Ashley Bussell

I’m hesitant about even leaving the review I’m about to give because I’m selfish and I don’t want the rates to go up but honestly I was impressed I almost backed out due to some of the reviews but I’m sure glad I didn’t I traveled to Montgomery to go to the casino for my birthday and decided to stay here instead of at the casino

There was a problem with my payment because I booked through a hotel site and they canceled my reservation but the front desk receptionist was kind enough to reinstate it at the same rate We ended up with the same room we initially booked The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and there was a full kitchen stocked with utensils and paper towels The location was close enough to everything and right off the interstate only 20 minutes from the casino My only complaint isn’t a reflection of the hotel but the city itself the smell is almost repulsive !!

Andria Fallen

This hotel was one of the unsafest and run down Hilton hotels I’ve ever been to We had to travel to Montgomery for a funeral so we were already pretty raw emotionally but the stress and discomfort of this hotel made the experience that much worse I will list out the issues we encountered and people can determine for themselves if it’s really worth the cost AND the risk

I can say we paid over $600 for a suite for 2 nights and it was OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced considering the condition of the room and the hotel in generalSafety Issues:1 No safety/evacuation/fire maps in any hallways or common areas – I only found one on the back of the door in our room The main reason I noticed this was because we weren’t given any directions or anything on how to get to our room After walking down 3 very long hallways (with my elderly mother who can’t walk long distances) we finally found it (and also found that walking down those long hallways was the only way to get to the room unless we chose to walk up 4 flights of stairs 🤦‍♀️) but that’s a design and service issue vs safety so I’ll move on2 The windows in the room could open all the way – and 2 of the windows didn’t even have screens in them My special needs son could have literally jumped out the window if he knew Yes the windows locked but there was nothing to prevent anyone from opening it all the way and literally jumping out of it Unbelievable3 The elevators (all 2 of them) were very rough riding and loud – the belts rubbed and the elevator shook every time we made it to the 4th floor It’s very clear it needs maintenance4 The front desk person was the only staff member on site at night There was no maintenance or housekeeping or anyone other than that one person at the front desk So when we needed a plunger for the clogged toilet that person had to leave their station to walk the plunger to the other side of the hotel and up 4 flights without anyone being at the front desk That is not only unsafe for the staff member but it’s also unsafe for the guests4 Last but far from least, our car and 5 others were all broken into When asked about the cameras and reviewing them we found out – that even though there’s a sign stating they have surveillance cameras in place-what they really mean is there are only cameras on the inside of the building and on the front of the building-you know where all the light and traffic is and the likelihood of cars being broken into is slim/but NOT in the back or the side of the building where it’s dark and very poorly litCommon Areas:1 This hotel has wallpaper peeling off the walls in all common areas/hallways and the walls and doors are all marked up Just a really terrible impression as we wandered throughout the hallways trying to find our room2 The carpet throughout the LONG hallways is so old it’s rolling up and making tripping hazards throughout3 The pantry was a joke & barely stocked! It had absolutely awful options and those times when I settled for something there was nobody there to give payment to it4 There are no signs anywhere! The exit doors were very well lit and there were signs at the front of hallways with arrows pointing for which direction the rooms were in but no directional signs for elevators, pool, fitness room, etc…Rooms:1 There were NO extra blankets/pillow/etc for the room – keeping in mind it was a 2 bedroom suite with sofa beds It’s expected to have sheets and blankets for the sofa bed at the very minimum2 The toilet was clogged and they didn’t have anyone available to unstop it Just what everyone wants when staying at a hotel – to unclog a toilet 🤨3 The furniture in the room was in very bad condition4 The tub was not clean5 The garbage disposal was clogged6 The handicap accessible room was spacious but both bathrooms had a tub with a high step up My mom was in a very bad way trying to get into the showerOverall, the hotel is old, dirty and very disappointing but the saving grace is the staff They were mostly all nice & professional

jeff j

The price was right for a night’s stay Great location off of I85 Nice breakfast

Pool available Easy check in and check out with the Hilton app Digital key worked with no issues However, this property needs some maintenance and TLC The carpets in the hallways are dirty and worn out The walls are banged up Our room had some maintenance issues, the most glaring of which was the light fixture in the bathroom broken and hanging loose from the ceiling This is a low end Hilton property

William Hauser

Bed and bedding were comfortable Location is convenient Carpeting in rooms is dingy & worn

Kitchen cabinets, countertop and appliances are dated and need updating Wastebaskets are too small, especially for kitchen use Tables, desk and chairs are dated and worn Breakfast bar opens too late for folks traveling for work/business Wednesday night food & drink in the lobby was very much on the light side (chips & dip and salad) No automatic entry door at main lobby entrance, meaning you have to try to hold the single-width door open while you pull in your luggage The property needs to be modernized Overall a less-than-ideal travel experience

I got the best room purely by chance I had a perfect little corner of greenery and got to watch a chipmunk and some bunnies while sitting at the desk in my room The room was clean and in good repair and, unlike many hotels I’ve been to, I didn’t feel like I was hearing everything going on in the next room

I was there for a conference and the facilities were very nice No issues with echoes so we could hear the speakers Minimal background noise from other rooms Clean and comfortable chairs and tablesThe staff was awesome I got clear easy to follow directions from the ladies at the front desk, and when I was stopping to admire the greenery, staff that were walking by checked to make sure I wasn’t lost and didn’t need help with my bags

Christopher Garza

WOW 🤯 I came for memorial day and it was one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel That’s saying a lot as I travel for work more than 200 days a year and have been to many hotels I have status so I was hoping for an upgrade but I got placed in a separate cottage that was AMAZING

it had a fish tank and a pool table The rooms were extra big and it was quiet so I had some great sleep Mine featured a jetted tub and an extra big shower as well as double sinks I didn’t want to leave immediately so I extended my stay and the next day I got to experience the pool and walked a little of the golf course ⛳️ I also had breakfast and dinner at the resturaunt inside the hotel The property is such a perfect hideaway and I would definitely make my way back here I took a lot of pictures because this property had so many amenities but it truly needs to be experienced so book nowHuge Shout out to Jeff who was a great host and really personable and made my stay as Awesome as it could have been Thank you for the Hospitality

Daniel Anderson

So we checked in with the app and said we would arrive at 4 pm When we arrived at 6 pm the room was not ready We had to wait another hour to get into the room

The room was nice, an upgraded king suite with a horrible view of the parking lot Breakfast was included with my status and it was a decent spread The staff was very friendly and the room was clean This Marriott does NOT have a concierge lounge Overall a bit of a disappointment compared to other full-service Marriott hotels

Just left throw hotel blown away by their breakfast! I wish we had photos but everything was devoured – a win with kids for sure! Best hotel breakfast we’ve had in years Everything from juice and cereal, hot coffee & tea to biscuits & gravy, sausage links and eggs – and SURPRISE! Even rice with kimchi! The rooms were also nice and very clean Everyone was super professional, it was a nice quiet place for a family

Highly recommend this stay!!

Melody R

I never want to stay here again They had roaches a couple of months ago when we came And this past weekend the service was horrible, we couldn’t get towels, nothing in the room worked

And they had multiple outlets plugged into the same extension cord which is definitely a fire hazard The telephone did not work and could not call for the front desk The refrigerator would not get cold Don’t ever wanna stay there again

Pearline Dyson

Oh my goodness what an experience I know Wyndham is not what it use to be, but I booked it because they showed pictures of hard wood floors When I got there, I asked to see the rooms

When I seen them oh my! The nice guy tried to find me one but all was taken…he said they are doing renovations That’s false advertising to me I was in a business trip, so I stayed 2 nights and couldn’t take it anymore When you walk on the carpet, your shoes stocked, the bed was so high you had to leap in it The refrigerator didn’t work and the sink was broken (the hot faucet ) I think for a woman, you shouldn’t stay there; you only seen men! It’s also at the back by itself, not in a good area! They really need to close it down and start over! I wish I could post these pictures I have of the carpet, bed and sink The room is very depressing looking!

One of the cleanest and friendliest hotel staff we have stayed in We were kept up to date on the status of our room in regards to when it would be ready The complementary breakfast was an added bonus as most places only serve cold pastries and/or cereal, not here

there was waffles, eggs, and pastries Additionally, we left a few items behind and the staff was quick to locate and hold the items until we were able to retrieve them Great hotel and awesome staff

James Blount

Nice room Great location a block from baseball stadium on Riverwalk Dog friendly

Beds a little soft for me Parking can be a hassle ($25 valet, $5 behind restaurant across intersection, or metered street parking if you can find it free on weekends) Breakfast eggs went early and weren’t refilled All seemed to love the little waffles

Sophie Mathonnet-VanderWell

The stay itself at this hotel was fine

nothing extraordinary but fine However, I got charged for a second room I had made reservations through Hotelcom for 6 rooms and cancelled one of them about 5 days before the trip I have the cancellation letter to prove it Nonetheless, I was charged for this second room I called the hotel and got no help Was asked to talk to my credit card company I fought it with my credit card company but since the reservations were in the name of the person who cancelled, they settled in favor of the hotel I have spent hours waiting on the phone to talk to someone at the hotel and at my credit card company I will never use Hotelcom or Hampton Inn and Suites ever again

Very small room, couldn’t even fit the luggage rack inside Door to the bathroom was literally falling apart Toilet in bathroom was crooked about 20 degrees

Supposedly the shower leaked as well And the wall with the beds against it is also crooked and has a curve at the ceiling No complimentary breakfast and no pool Not enough room for activities The room we stayed in also had a adjacent room to it with a door for easy access, but we could easily see in that room where other people were staying Do not recommend staying here

Chad Crutcher

I only had one complaint over the 2 weeks I stayed here On check-out, 11 August, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude (this was also the first time I had seen her at this hotel) I was trying to figure out what options I had due to flight cancellations from weather and she expressed that she had military coming in and may not be able to accommodate

So I let her know I was military and she said “so am I, but that doesn’t help me out” First of all, there’s no way this lady was active duty military and second why did she bring it up if it wasn’t a factor? Anyways, the rest of the staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful They always greeted everyone with a smile and a cookie, went out of their way to accommodate our entire group, and were all super helpful, except the one lady The bartenders were both awesome and really friendly They make great Old Fashioneds and Dirty Martinis Definitely recommend hitting them up if you need any info about the surrounding area and things to do, as well Lastly, even if you’re not staying there, I’d recommend going just for the cheese grits, they were by far the best I’ve ever had!

I paid for a king deluxe room an it is a total value of $805 for three nights With that price you would think that you would get a top of the line room I’m far from top of the line

I have dead cockroachs in the room an if there are dead bugs in the room what kind of other bugs are here, bed bugs etc?, Busted cabinet where the refrigerator goes and the refrigerator sitting in the living room instead of the kitchen because of the busted cabinet Highly disappointed!! Long drive to stay in a place site unseen and going off pictures and end up with this I deserve a discount or money back so I can go stay somewhere else Janice at the front desk deserves a raise for her hard work She did everything she could to make me happy

Stayed 11 nights on a work trip I would like to compliment the staff and management for all the sanitizing and cleaning Thank you

I really enjoyed coming back each night and walking into the lobby to a welcoming environmentIt’s a very nice property with a modern decor The lobby is beautiful The room was fine I like the air freshener they use Housekeeping and front desk were friendly and accommodatingThe free breakfast was a bit disappointing Also, taking it down before 9:00 am in an aggressive manner was off putting The breakfast attendant was the only staff member I came across that could use more customer service training Overall I was very satisfiedNote for management – I would like to return in two weeks but the rate went up an additional $40 nightly and is significantly more than other hotels in the area for the dates I’ll be in town I can’t justify the extra expense

We stayed here on 2 different weekends and it was amazing The staff was extremely accommodating with my friend and I along with our 3 kids, 6 and below I wish I would have gotten their names, but any of the staff members working 26-27 February and 8-11 March were great

The price and location were on point We may not have a reason to come back to Montgomery, but if we do I would book here over and over again Thanks so much for such a great stay

Great location right off the interstate Several shopping, eating, and fueling options all around Hotel grounds looked clean on arrival

The lady working the front desk greeted us as we came up and was very friendly The rooms were clean and provided everything needed for the stay The hotel is located where there is minimal traffic at night and we were able to take a walk around the area that evening and saw several deer Several good breakfast options the next morning Check out was quick We enjoyed our stay and will consider staying again in the future

***DON’T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!***As a diamond member, I travel a tremendous amount for work & pleasure and stay at various IHG properties when I do In regards to room cleanliness and bug issues, This was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I’ve had thus far The room I stayed in had MULTIPLE ROACHES, which started crawling on my personal belongings

Due to the time of night it occurred, I was unable to relocate to a new hotel nearby They were full and I would only be there for 4-5 hours before I had to wake up anyway So I notified the front desk and was immediately moved to another room The new room had MOLD throughout the bathroom…the heaviest concentration was on shower head, specifically the water nozzles The shower curtain had a strong smell of MILDEW (similar to the old moldy socks/towel smell) and the main area room had a musty odorI won’t ever stay at this property again after this experience And I’ve notified my colleagues and customers, who travel a tremendous amount either to this area or thru it, to not stay at this property as wellOn a side note: I will say this, the young lady and gentleman who respectfully assisted with check-in and the relocation, we’re very professional and friendly Kudos to the both of you

We were so tired and stressed from the day, ending it with a storm that wouldn’t allow you to see the road Upon the arrival the ladies at the check in counter were so warm and friendly both had welcoming smiles the whole time Leaving the following day the ladies at the check out counter were just as pleasant

The lady taking care of the breakfast area was just as nice All the employees had smiles and really just nice Can’t say enough good about the place I’m sorry I didn’t remember their names, I was just too tired But the whole crew was great We have stayed there before and never have had bad service Great place, great people
