Came into town to see my family for a week I have never experienced so much hospitality Ben who helped us check in amazing

The night person Layne he was great as well helping us find great dinner locations Kim the breakfast attendant loved her each morning June what a great housekeeper so nice every time we would speak Laura who is the general manager of the hotel she has an amazing staff

Megan Singleton

Our stay was only for one night The room was clean and comfortable We had two queen beds

They didn’t supply us with any hand soap Luckily I always plan ahead for things The breakfast was alright They served eggs, sausage patties, cereal, muffins, waffles, and biscuits and gravy I wish they had fruit We didn’t use the pool or gym but it did look clean and well maintained

Justin Hardesty

This Fairfield Inn and Suites is amazing because of the great staff, amazing amenities, and a nice hot breakfast These things and the friendlyness of the staff made for the 5 star rating The rooms and hotel need a style update as the lobby furniture is worn and the cleanliness (aka dusting and details of room cleaning) needs a little bit of work

Again the staff made up for any cleanliness downfalls They corporate artwork in all of the Fairfield Inn and Suites is bound to drive any detail oriented person bonkers with the typo making the alphabet 27 letters long But the shining star in my entire stay was the Front Desk Supervisor Layne Galloway He is the bees knees, the cats pajamas and even then some His kind personality, amazing restaurant recommendation and his bubbly upbeat personality not just to me but to everyone who stepped foot on the property was what will bring me back here again Thank you Fairfield Inn and Suites Mishawaka for making me feel at home away from home

Melissa McFadden

We really enjoyed our stay here They have one of the larger suites on the top floor which has 2 queen beds and 1 king, in separated bedrooms with a conjoined living room and kitchen The room was clean, modern, and had nice air conditioning

We love their dog policy and felt safe with our trailer being parked in their well-lit parking lot It’s within walking distance to restaurants We slept so well we almost missed check-out!

Gerry Delbridge

Very loud and raucous Music vibrating though the walls after 10:00pm The staff seemed stumped as to handle the issue

I finally put earplugs in Poor nights rest Too many people seem to be living there long-term They forget it’s a hotelThe day staff is extremely friendly and efficient, and the hotel is very clean Somehow they must learn to balance the needs of those that stay for weeks or months (they need to feel at home), with those that just want a relaxing respite from the road Perhaps separate floors

Taylor Branham

Unprofessional management at this hotel Had a room with broken ac and they wouldn’t let us change rooms for 2 days They also wouldn’t fix it and our room was super hot and muggy

When we called the front desk to ask what they were going to do they were rude and short with us and would hang up on us We were very respectful and nice to them about it and they were very rude Our door was also broken and would close with inserting a key Way too expensive for not having any accommodations Paying a grand for a week and not even having air conditioning is unacceptable

Room was clean and a value over other’s in the same area Ended up being too busy to utilize the pool, and the hot tub was out of service With 2 females in our room we needed extra towels and was told be housekeeping I had to trade in my dirty ones for more

We ate breakfast Saturday morning and it was decent, (sausage was soggy and chewy like microwave cooked), but the eggs were good, and there was a mini waffle maker as well as cereal and a variety of bagels and toast, muffins, fruit and yogurt All in all safe, and clean hotel

MICHELLE G

My new go-to place in this part of Indiana when visiting for work

I found it on my last trip and made special note to choose this one next time and wasn’t disappointed My 2nd time here, as comfortable and clean as last time, the room is large and so is the TV! The bed is so cozy, I meant to check if it has a feather bed or some kind of mattress topper bc I sank into the bed in total relaxed bliss! Definitely will stay again when in the area, highly recommend!

Miranda Odenweller

Nice hotel, clean comfortable beds, housekeeping checks on you daily Which is good or bad In my experience I work 2nd shift they knocked twice and called while I was trying to sleep

After a front desk chat it got a little better Small workout room, pool, hot tub is broken right now Mostly friendly staff **Shower heads in the bathroom are low for taller people Overall nice experience

Stayed here for one night to go to Notre Dame to see BILLY JOEL!!!!!!!! The room was beautiful and very close to Notre Dame They had a shuttle that would take you to the concert for $9 per person They will also pick you up for $9 per person, but it’s a bit hard to find the right line to stand in to get picked up from Notre Dame to be taken back to your hotel

And if you are under 5’4″ Don’t get on the shuttle unless you have a seat to sit in!!! They packed us in and we were standing and holding onto rails along the top of the shuttle I’m 5’5″ and if I was any shorter, I wouldn’t have been able to reach It was comparable to the scariest roller coaster I’ve ever been on!!! Lol! Very memorable though!!! It was great to have a clean and cozy room to go back to after the shuttle ride!!! The beds were comfy with soft pretty comforters! The bathroom was very clean and very modern There was also a huge couch in our room that you could make into a bed There was a Culver’s that shared a parking lot so food was within walking distance

Paula Keesling

The room was lovely and very clean; however, it was missing bars of soap and wash cloths this stay I stayed here a couple of weeks ago, and I had to ask for bathtowels The breakfast is dismal

A few cold hard biscuits with nothing to put on them, dry cereal, instant oats with no microwave, a few shriveled orangesin the hot food there were a few breakfast sandwiches in plastic wrap I am always pleased with Marriott brand hotels, but I will look for another in this area for my next stay

dawn Smith

Lack of amenities The sundry area was lacking

no water, no oatmeal and only 2 frozen dinners In our room there was no lotion I was in town for the Spartan race, and was told there would be oatmeal in a container for breakfast Got down there and asked the staff and they said they didn’t have any The manager on staff said they didn’t have anything in the sundry area because the manager was out sick with covid, and was the only one who could place orders I do think a backup should be in place On a positive notethe room was nice, good night sleep and shower was so refrshing

Upon arrival I parked at what I thought was the front of the building, but when I walked in there was just a long hallway Called the front desk from the parking lot to find out where I should park, and staff took forever to answer the phone When someone finally did answer she literally sounded like she just woke up

It was weirdThe desk was not manned when I walked in, but eventually someone came out from a back room, blowing her nose as she was walking up to the desk… It was kinda gross, but she was friendlyMy room was clean, AC worked well, beds were clean and comfortable My only real complaint about the room is that the TV remote only worked about half the time There was a microwave and fridge, but the fridge did not include a freezer compartmentThe pool was gross The water itself seemed relatively clean, but the floors and walls certainly weren’tCheck out was easy

Caitlin Johnson

Stayed Fri 6/24-Sat 6/25 Hampton Inn and SuitesGreat service, friendly staff Beds were very firm, so comfortable for me but my husband found a bit too firm The facility was very clean and well kept from what we saw (only there from 11pm to 8am)

Continental breakfast had many options: individual cereals, bagels, wafel makers, premade/reheated cheese omlets, sliced keilbasa, pancakes, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, tea Pool was closed due to covid restrictions (not a complaint, just a note) Masks were provided if you wanted one, but not required Sanitizer was readily available We saw only one luggage trolley while we were there Luckily we were able to use it, but I imagine it could be frustrating if you are visiting on a weekend/higher traffic time We would definitely stay here again if we travel this way

Mary Jackson

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! Terrible front desk employees We recently booked a block of hotel rooms for my wedding and had the worst experience going thru that process Rude and unhelpful to the guests I invited to reserve rooms

The lack of customer service while speaking on the phone with the employees was a jumbled, nerve racking mess! Only makes sense that they were just as awful in person They didn’t even put us in the room we requested for the bride and groom I will never stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Zackarias Martin

Shocked at how this location charged over $250 for one night’s stay! Shocked at how the breakfast had no milk, no bagels, NO FRUIT, cereal was nearly out, but breakfast lady (very nice) was working VERY FAST, but needed help No one was there to help her thoughAlso Shocked at the lack of product in our bathroom (no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, lotion bottle and hand soap bar at sink was about the size of a large marble)

Only 2 towels in bathroom as well, and there was 4 of us For $250, this is OUTRAGEOUS! We have been staying at Holiday Inn Express exclusively and never have we spent SO MUCH for one night and had such a negative experience I think it’s time to find another chain that is cheaper, that has better service across their brand (chain) There is little consistency with this brand as most of the are great (and MUCH cheaper), but this was the worst in the last 7 years 1 star for the nice bed, clean linens and clean room though

Tiffany Rupp

Stayed in South Bend to visit a friend before continuing our journey This hotel was close to their house so that we could visit longer Overall, it’s tour pretty typical holiday Inn express

I’ve never been happy with the breakfast they provide but it’s decent enough The room was okay The bath needed to be cleaned better and the smoke detector flashed really bright very often The pool is small but a good temp for a quick swim

Renee Johnson (Boo)

First time using this site Clean enough and nice staff Could not find AC controls at first and our room was freezing cold

Had request late check out and was told that was fine But next morning we were asked to leave the room before our late check out We were told nothing on room info stating late check outHad to sit in the lobby for 2 hours to wait for our daughters who had an appointment that morning Hence, the late check out

Outstanding new hotel with a great happy hour when it is up and running The rooms are super nice and include a fridge and microwave The gym has a great selection of equipment but no filtered water machine

The breakfast was delicious The potatoes were done perfectly It’s a little inconvenient that the breakfast starts at 7:30 and not earlier for people trying to hit the road early The beds are very comfortable It was frustrating they didn’t have the happy hour running one of the nights I would still highly recommend staying here if you are in the area

Nina Awad Becklund

We had a canceled flight and were desperate for a room We went to Brandon, the manager of Embassy Suites, and he was so caring and helped us out tremendously He is truly an outstanding asset, and we will be back because of him along with Cynthia

I believe her name was at the 530 happy hour She went out of her way and was so kind, professional, and a joy to speak with These two employees really made a rough night into an enjoyable one Thank you both! Rooms are clean, the hotel is great, and has a great bar and excellent breakfast The entire staff was great!!!

Erin Combs

Hotel feels a bit upscale Service is friendly, efficient, and informative Breakfast and an evening refreshment reception are included

Rooms are clean and spacious Located right on Notre Dame campus There’s a restaurant on site as well Note: They don’t do room service (although there’s a button on the phone for it) You’ll have to order carry out and grab it yourself but that’s not a big deal

The rooms are spacious The bedding was surprisingly comfortable and of high quality My only reservations are the decor of the room needs updating and the cleanliness of the permanent items in the room

Do not misinterpret what I’m saying! The room was CLEAN! Just several items in the room appear to need an overall deep cleansing

Kenneth Reed

I wish I could give more star’s cause this hotel deserves it The rooms were clean and welcoming, the accomodations were right on point and the breakfast was great with so many varieties to choose from I have stayed in and reviewed hotel all across the USA and this Quality Inn was hands down one of the best I have seen in a long time

Thank you to all the staff here for doing a great job and helping this be a wonderful experience! I will definitely be coming back to stay here again

Sandra Kabowski

They’re scamming people so don’t pay with a card MY fiance and I stayed one night and he paid with his cardWe checked out the next day and everything was fine until the next day when they took more money off my fiance card Like

$15000 So we called and talked to the lady who checked us out and she claimed that the room was damaged and I know it wasn’t So be careful

Clean and updated rooms! White linens so you can tell if they are in good shape A lot of light colors in general so you can tell they keep everything clean Nicely outfitted and clean bathroom again done light colors

Pump shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower Everything smelled ok unlike a lot of hotels They are also dog friendly with a $75 pet fee The only disappointment is they charge $6 for what looks to be a very poor quality Continental breakfast The hot breakfast buffet is $1500 per person For what you pay for the room you should get a free Continental Continental breakfast That is our only complaint about the hotel and service

Joe Haupt

The positive elements of our stay were helpful staff members combined with a large and clean room The only drawback was that we booked a handicapped-accessible room and found that not to be the case The room featured a walk-in shower with a grab-bar; however, there were no other accessibility features

There was no seat in the shower and no grab-bars in the bathroom area including around the low-mounted toilet

Jay Mercier

This Hilton Garden Inn is one of the nicest in the chain They offer daily breakfast, nightly dinner with a well stocked bar and ample free parking And although the hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from the South Bend (SBN) airport, they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport

Lastly, all the staff were friendly and helpful

Good hotel overall a bit on the average side, TV is small in the rooms, elevator is very small to go to the next floor, some other customers have their dogs in that small breakfast area Breakfast was good but the bacon was undercooked omelets were tough Compared to other Best Western hotels with a little bit below their average

People were nice though they help they respond and it was clean I would stay there again

eaglewing13

Generally good hotel where everything seemed to work about as expected Beds were comfortable, and unlike the last place with the same brand, things like the toilet and keys actually worked They were having a lot of system problems when trying to check in but they seemed to be gone by check out two days later so it was likely temporary

Breakfast was average at best Still just barely gets a 4 instead of a 3 because of the good room and price

Becky Outten

Upon checking in at 10:00pm (very tired) the staff were absolutely amazing & friendly! We had a horrible time at a super 8 at the beginning of our trip and coming here was a breath of fresh air going from horrible staff to amazing staff here really makes a big difference! We so much appreciated the huge options for breakfast My dad had a waffle with everything on it so he was happy Very clean rooms and friendly staff all the way around

I would definitely stay here again the only problems were the key card didn’t work for the far door to come back in but they explained that to us And the hot tub spa was down But those aren’t major issues ♥️

Redline Transportation –

Clean and spacious rooms The building itself however is ready to collapse I was assigned to a room on the 3rd floor

This is not the floor you take children to! Immediately upon entering I thought I was in one of those specialty built houses on an angle The floor had at least a 6″ drop from one wall to the other It was evident the floor system was damaged and ready to collapse into the lower levels I felt as though I needed to put a block of wood under one shoe just to keep level as I walked through the large room Bed was of average comfort level for a hotel so that was good I guess It too was sloped with the floor so I slept with my feet to the headboard so I wasn’t sleeping with my head on a decline I was worried I the building wouldn’t make it through the night but to my surprise, it didn’t come crashing down in the night (thank goodness there was no snow on the roof) I live a little on the edge but within an acceptable safety level For that reason, I didn’t use the bathtub as I was concerned the added weight of water to the room would send me on an express trip to the 1st floor Definately something thrill seekers should try I think t was room 310

Angela Park

Overall 2 star Good location right by the airport and is ideal as a last minute option (meaning there are late comers and early risers you can hear coming in and out) Room felt mildewy with half eaten food still in the fridge and poor water pressure in the shower

The bed was also uncomfortable and the air conditioner/heater was very loud This place does have a pool, a 24 hour fitness center, and offers breakfast Service was friendly and cordial both on the phone and in person

Britni Gettinger

You cannot tell me these rooms were cleaned There was a pint of vodka left in the fridge and an earring on the bed It took the front desk person 10 minutes to greet me even after ringing the bell twice and it was not even a late night check in

Still trying to figure out where all the good reviews came from; I don’t even see much hope for this place

The rooms were very nice I love the layout of the rooms also LOVE the brand of shampoos/conditioner (drybar) they smell so good There was a wall that maybe needed a little cleaning in the room but other than that it was great! Also, the bartender Libby was awesome

She made me this grapefruit drink that was amazing She recommended several places to check out and we enjoyed the bar we actually returned later for drinks and a bite to wrap up our evening

Dani Maeda

It was good BUT

I was disappointed in the pool area It was a mess and really gross There was a film across the pool and a bunch of hair and lint floating in itThe elevators were a bit scary/Shakey One was out of order and the others were ricketyNo complimentary breakfast It costs $3 for cold cereal and you can buy sandwiches and cappuccino I’ve had better breakfast options at smaller hotelsThe comedy club in the basement was nice Good entertainment The area was awkward though They need a better layout for them Felt very cramped in there Like we were stuffed in a back room they forgot aboutThe gym space was very nice! Even though I never use hotel gyms, this one I would! They had a really great area and options for the equipmentOverall, we enjoyed our stay If you are going for the pool, I would call ahead to make sure it is even in order and just plan to spend extra on breakfast in the morning

Convenient location for downtown South Bend Our first room had a broken air conditioner, but luckily they were able to move us to another room The rooms are generally clean, with some stains on shower curtains, etc

The lobby is nice, but in need of updates Skip the complimentary coffee in the lobby as it tastes like the grounds were reused many times over Overall, a decent price for the experience The best thing it has going for it is a prime location

This is the hotel we ended up staying at after we fled from the Super8 in Howe( go see my review on that dump) This place was the polar opposite The hotel is really nice, our room was fantastic, clean, roomy and comfortable

We stayed for two nights with our dogs and they were super comfortable here it was so nice to have an equipped kitchen area with a fridge We did not cook anything but we did have a cooler with us and it was nice to be able to unload it into the fridge and also be able to clean our dog dishes, travel mugs and such The hotel is in a commercial area with lots of restaurants and stored but it was a very nice area and we just felt comfortable here Overall we had a very nice stay and would gladly stay here again if we are ever in the area and need a place to stay

I stayed for two months for my job Feb and March 2022

I chose it because I had my dog with me The front desk people were very nice and accommodating The room was very nice however I could not get anyone to clean my room for two months I had to go and get towels myself I had to make up my bed myself I was told that I would get the room cleaned once a week but that never happened I did complain but finally I just said forget it It was nice having breakfast during the week Monday through Thursday The laundry area was too small for the size of the hotel I was just very disappointed However I did have my dog with me

Best hotel stay hands down I have a terrible time sleeping in hotels when there are constantly people running in the halls, people above me up walking hard all hours of the night, etc I already have insomnia and even w/earplugs it’s usually rough but not here!

I will say this hotel was so quiet I had to play rain sounds on the TV 😍 I never heard another person at all I could immediately tell when walking in the halls that it was well built The pool was nice and clean and the furniture has even been updated since the pics w/nicer quality stuff I came for a staycation with grandkids and tbh that’s why I chose this place for the kitchenette and most hotels I’ve been at w/them has them all on the bottom floor with none above it like mini condos I did that as I didn’t want to be that person to others w/kids hoping around or middle of the night drinks, etc I was so happy with the stay that I’ll definitely come back and recommend it The breakfast was good as a grab and go but had everything most other decent ones have like hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, milk, juice, coffee

Room could have been cleaner, I was at this location for 41 daysFront desk staff was amazingLots of places to sit outside, two separate areas both with fire pit

lots of restaurants and shopping within reasonable distanceI actually really liked layout of this hotelOnly 2 washers and dryer available for entire hotel, this made getting any laundry done almost impossible Most hotels I stay in have another laundry area on top floor

Almost everything was excellent The only con was the breakfast Jimmy Dean sandwiches, muffins and coffee

The orange juice was out Didn’t find milk for the cereal Really dropped the ball here The room was fantastic and the service was absolutely top notch Everyone was friendly and smiling If they improved the breakfast, I would definitely stay again

I have been staying at this Home 2 since December 2021 for work The staff has been very helpful and this is the cleanest hotel I have been at in a LONG time The cleaning staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and professional

I never have to doubt that the room will be clean and supplied I checked out a lot of hotels in SB since I knew I was going to stay for several months Others do NOT compare This is were you want to stay in SB

Front desk staff was very friendly & welcoming but that’s where my positive experience ends

The room was clearly not cleaned well, our first sign being that the do not disturb sign was left on the door from the previous guest The shower had mold in the corners & hair left in it and nothing seemed wiped down So we didn’t shower that night after a long road trip & also slept on top of our sheets as we were worried they never got changed Really disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap nights stay by any means but felt like it

Very average hotel Large open hole above what felt like a rickety old elevator Rooms dont appear to have been updated since maybe 2002

Bad carpet and evidence of mold along the top of the wallpaper in shower area of bathroomHave also switched over to large bottles of products in the bathroom that are bolted to the wall Be sure to check that they have been filled and/or replaced I went to shower, and there was no shampoo at all in the bottle!! Very frustrating to uncover AFTER your hair is wet and you’re standing naked in the shower When I told front desk later that morning, just a chuckle and, “oh yeah they dont replace it if they think one or 2 more pumps can be got out”Breakfast was also terrible Just very very sad all around

Staff was friendly and welcoming! But clean the coffee maker for Pete’s sake! I wasn’t excited about bad hotel coffee in the first place but was willing to deal with it until I had to consider the dysentery that would come along with it I realize that it’s a Springhill suites and I can’t have Ritz Carlton expectations But come on!!! Otherwise, it’s about what you’d expect from an old Springhill Suites…
