Simply superb! Stayed five nights Every time we entered the lobby the staff acknowledged my family with a warm welcome Clean, homey, and had everything we needed after a long stay in the hospital

Thank you for the loving welcome and piece of mind during my family’s stay Facility well maintained The website pics are accurate Conveniently located next to various restaurants, stores, and gas stations Parking lot is well lit and cameras are in view

The staff was incredible every one of them was very welcoming and very friendly! Now for the rooms, they need a major upgrade we had tiny ants which I was like whatever it happens no biggie but everything was very jank! Nothing to do with the employees I know that but the owner/management needs to step it up and redo their rooms Just some food for thought! The grounds were nice just need a lot of updates in the rooms for the price you pay Hopefully, they can give them some love and care and put a little love into them and not have such cheap junk! Spend a little of that money and put it into your rooms

Again we appreciate all the friendly employees that were just amazing thank you y’all 💜

My stay was for 5/1/2022 – 5/6/2022 (nice rooms)On our first night, our Tundra had its catalytic converter stolen while parked under a security camera, and parking lot light (Hotel staff offered no help, and mentioned that corporate took away their security guard)On our 3rd day, one of my 7 reservations was canceled without a reason

We were instructed to simply share a room (points were offered, but never sent)On the 4th day, both elevators went out on a 5 story hotel Some guests visiting the medical center for cancer services did not have the strength to reach their rooms via stairs One of our group had a great deal of difficulty due to recent knee replacementsStaff was friendly, but the front desk had a consistent attitude

Though the hotel was adequate, the catalytic converter was stolen from my vehicle overnight while parked in the hotel parking lot, completely rearranging my plans for the next day The security camera pointed directly at my car turned out to not be working when the police were checking the security footage The parking lot lighting shines just as much on upper floor windows as illuminating the parking lot

I am a frequent guest at Choice Hotels on travels, but this one is now off my list

TV sound was distortedTV was sitting directly on dresser Manager was notified and said tv speakers were under tv, that’s why it sounded distorted

She said she would bring tv stand and never did We lifted the tv up on rolled up towels ( ghetto ) When we first notified her of tv she offered another room but we had already unpacked everything The room smelled musty, sofa and carpet were stained She gave us a can of Febreeze for the smell Really! We put a sheet over the sofa to sit on it When we woke up there was a huge dead roach next to desk The Manager was rude and unfriendly! We will never stay at this location again!!! The Manager said she spoke to Owner and he offered nothing!

Rooms are large and spacious Having a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and half stove is wonderful Pillows and bed were marvelous

Only two issues: they seemed to have run out of towels on our second day during the stay, and there was a small bug on the counter in our room when we checked in Would have been 5 stars if not for those two issues

Marlena Omotayo

Room smelled like smoke and mildew I told the front desk and asked to be moved to another room, “we don’t have any more rooms Let me go to the room to check it out” he came back down and told me he sprayed the room

(It really didn’t help much) I found mold on the curtain above the a/c The bed headboard had greasy smudges maybe from someone head and hands in multiple places Same thing on the closet doors Mold in the shower I booked for 3 nights and no one came to clean my room Went down to the front desk to ask why, they told me on weekends they don’t clean rooms and if they do you have to ask and it will be a light dusting No one told me this on my first day and even so, that’s terrible service to not clean at least once No one answered the phone when i called to ask for towels I had to pick them up from downstairs and no one apologized I truly wish I would’ve stayed in a different hotel because I felt nasty being there Only thing that gave me relief was the breakfast

From the moment I walked in, the experience was amazing The lobby is gorgeous and the customer service was exceptional Checking in was super easy, the room I had was clean and spacious

The area around the hotel felt safe and is in the medical districtI was in town for business and also attended a meeting in one of the hotel meeting rooms The food provided was perfect, the meeting space was spacious and the staff that assisted throughout the meeting was friendly and professional I hope to visit Houston again for business and I would stay here every time

Sherrell Moorer

This was an amazing and discreet hotel It’s nestled just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston, but still close enough The decor is swanky yet contemporary

The staff (Ana, Angelina) were always full of smiles and assistance The portions for breakfast were quite large and very tasty The rooms are so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave The room was cleaner extremely well and the amenities kit had everything you need in the room There are small free bottles of water and great room service Me and my husband will definitely return!!

Due to a miscommunication, a hearing accessible room was booked instead of an ADA room which was needed Reeta was kind and understanding as she worked to find us an appropriate room She managed to fix everything so our room and stay was perfect

The ADA room we got was very large and very comfortable The roll in shower was wonderful Hotel is very clean and whenever we asked for anything, we got it right away The location is great as it is very near to the relatives we were visiting Staff was friendly and courteous Definitely would stay here again

Our stays at this hotel have been great and very accommodating! Rooms always clean to our expectations and the housekeeping staff has always been kind and very accommodating to every single request! Rohit ( the hotel clerk at the front desk) is wonderful! He was accommodating to every single need my family and I had and his customer service skills are beyond exceptional! He remembers my family by name whenever we see him, his conversations and suggestions have been so helpful and sincere, and he always has a welcoming and compassionate personality that lights up a room! It’s the staff that makes a hotel good and he does an absolutely great job!

Roach in our room Bathroom door latch was broken & wouldn’t stay closed Requested new room but was told none were available and maybe maintenance could come in the morning

This is an ideal location Lots of restaurants and stores in the surrounding area Our room was pretty big and clean

Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold food offered My only negative was that our rooms a/c didn’t feel like it was working efficiently The staff was polite and happy to assist I enjoyed my stay and will come again

Ron White

After travelling all morning, we arrived to this hotel at approximately 2:15 in the afternoon Although there were plenty of rooms available, the desk attendant refused to allow us to check in until the “official” check in time of 3pm We left and later returned at 3pm

Found the front desk attendant asleep in a chair behind the counter After waking him, we checked in After checking in, I took my granddaughter down to swim in the pool I had booked this hotel specifically to allow my granddaughter to swim The website prominently advertised a pool as one of their amenities Although we located a tiny pool out back, the gate was locked Went to speak to the front desk employee I was told the pool was not open, with no real explanation why Because I booked this specifically for the pool, I requested to speak with upper management After the desk attendant got someone on the phone, I learned the pool was not open because they had never obtained a permit from the city to open it Yet they continue to advertise it on their website Received a refund for our stay and left to find another more suitable hotel The empty parking lot should have been a clue as to the experience we found

Michael Sweeney

I wish there were negative stars

We will never bother with this place again At check-in, the guy at the desk was on the phone with a friend and kept switching back and forth to me the whole timeThe pool was one of the only reasons we booked here The kids were excited to play in the pool for the week we will be here After check-in, we found out the pool is closed The guy at the desk said the city had “just” come and put their own lock on it They were just waiting for them to unlock it He made it sound like it may be opened back up soon After we go eat dinner and come back, I go to check with them again It’s a different guy at the desk and he says OH, it’s been closed for years After remodeling the city says they need to get permits and that a lot of the remodeling debris went in the pool areaIf you are going to claim to have a pool and post pictures of it to make people want to stay here, you better actually have it useable It turns out there is a city citation taped on the back doors from August 2021 saying the pool was shut down Nice You would think that owners and/or managers would put a little effort into fixing whatever the city says to fix and get the pool going againSince we had already checked in and moved all of our luggage into the room, we stayed one night I told them we will check out in the morning because we already found a better hotel down the street for the rest of the week that does keep their pool open They were not concerned at all about that and said they would refund the difference when I check out in the morning

I enjoyed my stay The room was comfortable enough and the bed was really nice The staff was incredible

The area was very user friendly and I loved that I never had to get in my car for anything except work My only complaint is the elevator situation There was only one working elevator and I got stuck inside for a short time The staff responded promptly but I think the elevator acted up several times while I was there Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful I will stay here again on a lower floor

Elizabeth Wise

This hotel is nice, newer, and clean That is the best I can say about this hotel We stayed here several nights on a couple of occasions

They have a shuttle sitting outside, but it has not run once since we have been here We asked about the ability to get a ride and each time we were told it is not running today, so if that is a selling point I would recommend staying somewhere elseThe staff is nearly nonexistent most of the time when I go down to the lobby Normally the front desk staff is in the back or somewhere elseIf you have status with Marriott do not expect them to offer you any benefits or upgrades They would not Honor the guaranteed late checkout for Tutanium members, and we did not receive our breakfast vouchers this time and had someone argue with me last time I asked I did not bother with breakfast this morning It was not worth itOverall would not recommend this hotel It is nice and quiet with comfortable rooms as well as a workout room and indoor pool If that is all you are looking for this place may not be too bad for you

Lisa Hetrick

The people, the location, the food, all wonderful This hotel was recommended, I’m doing the same! So many delicious restaurants within walking distance; shopping tooBut what will bring me back to this place is the customer service

From the first chat online to the final wave goodbye, my family and I felt truly welcomed here Thank you for a lovely stay, hope to be back again soon!

Stayed two nights here a few months ago The rooms are comfortable and quiet for being right in the med center Location is perfect if the med center is where you need to be

I had room service twice and it was about average on speed and quality The clincher at this hotel, though, is Carl in the restaurant area I was fortunate enough to have him as my server both nights He is excellent at his job – a true gem in the service industry If you’re lucky enough to visit on a night when Carl is working, be sure to ask for a Princess Di at the bar

_

Had a pleasant stay for sure Clean room, with nice paintings inside and all the necessary things as hotels go Gym, swimming pool available thou entrance to it you have to find first

We were quite high above so the view was nice From minuses would be parking, yes you can use valet parking and pay quite a lot but if you are more like me and traveled for 6 hours in a car for a vacation you would like to buy a hotel stay and assume that if it is not possible to find parking outside the hotel that the hotel will provide it(just Hiden in the fee I mean) and not come inn tiered and try to find out how to do it and where Talking about breakfast it is a interesting, above average for sure with some healthy choices and vegetables and even cheese plates But it was confusing that when you come in it is not stated what is included in your stay and what is extra that will be put on the room Compliments to the reception staff, very polite professional and even with a small bonus My daughter asked about Easter bunny and at the reception they played the game and checked if he was staying at the hotel Next day small basket with a few eggs were given to her It is not something very expensive but I am very grateful and happy No bide next to the WC if you are wondering I stayed a few days and the room was cleaned every day Summary good modern hotel with professional staff Not too far (few min walk) tram station can bring you to downtown

Sean Vinck

This is a high quality, reasonably priced and perfectly located hotel I’ve had perhaps 5 trips to Houston over the past two months and each time stayed at this hotel I’ve never been disappointed

This was the first time at this property for me It is a newer building with a very clean and attractive setting The outdoor deck is a very nice place to relax, have a drink or even eat a meal when it is not too hot out! The bar was extremely busy with large groups on both nights of my stay and that put a grind in the service even though the staff was nice and were trying hard to catch up

The food was actually good for a hotel and since I was on business and tired both nights I ended up eating there and pretty satisfied The rooms are very modern and up to date with large showers which I prefer I will stay here again The welcome macaroons and strawberries in my room was a nice touch!

I had an exceptional stay at the Westin last week The staff are incredibly friendly, informative, and quick with their service The facilities are well kept, the room had a lot of modern amenities (including a lot of lighting options, which I particularly appreciated), and the on-site amenities were excellent

I highly recommend this place for business or pleasure!

Very nice place Nice rooms, though small Great workout facility, pool, and restaurant

Only complaint is the expensive parking Location is essentially on campus to the hospital with lots of restaurants within minutes of stepping out of the hotel: Halal Bros, Italian fastfood, Starbucks, and many more Hotel is also on the tram line

I got an incredibly good deal through Costco Travel — so I figured the accommodations would not be very nice I was so wrong! The room was gorgeous and had lots of features I really found helpful: a long bench you could use for suitcases or whatever instead of a single flimsy luggage stand Also

HOOKS! I wished my family was with me So many hotels just have one hook in the bathroom and it’s hard to keep track of whose towel is hose, have more than one bathroom kit up, etc I love the little key and purse stand in the front entry way The shower was hot and had water pressure The staff was SUPER nice and competent I also loved that the hotel itself was so close to so many dining options I was able to walk to the Mediterranean restaurant and pick up a lovely meal, walk to the gas station, and later drive to a pharmacy Oh yeah, the fitness center was pretty nice too Breakfast was yummy And last but not least, they were so kind to us coffee drinkers There were 3 types of caffeinated coffee in the room and I could even go get coffee in the afternoon from the lobby Coffee=happiness Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Hotel Seems new My family and I enjoyed our room

Very spacious and clean We stayed on the first floor, the room has desk for working, a mini fridge, multiple lamps and a very, very nice bathroom We loved the back lit mirror Breakfast was available with so many options to choose from eggs, cereal, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and juices and coffee to name a few But the highlight for us, was realizing that the pillows and bed lining was hypoallergenic Our son has severe allergies and it was really nice to be able to sleep without him having breathing issues all night We really did appreciate that The staff was very helpful as well and onsight free parking, steps away from a few shops was nice as well

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be disappointedHotel has a lot to offer, parking was a little confusing the first time I tried to self park but navigated easily after that $13 for overnight parking which is much better than across the street at the medical center parking which is $25 for overnightUpon checking in, I went up to the room they gave us and quickly realized I was given a room that was already occupied! I went back down to the front desk and they made it right They have 2 restaurants, a wonderful gift shop with Starbucks and many amenities Great pool and workout areas Hotel seemed to be quite noisy though, walls were kind of thin so I didn’t get the best sleep The metro has a stop directly outside which was convenient as well along with many restaurants & shops to choose from within walking distance

I came to Houston for vacation and stayed at this hotel for an entire week I was placed in a hearing impaired suite, which was very clean and well maintainedPros for this Hotel are location, cleanliness, excellent staff and free breakfast

Cons were that the water pressure was low, with the hot water not working very well in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks My keycard also never seemed to work on the first few attemptsThe excellent location and friendly staff was what made my visit very enjoyable I would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future

Stayed here for a competition with my family The hotel looks like it was designed by Ikea, so yay! The room was clean and efficiently laid out The staff was friendly and professional

The breakfast was on par with most free hotel breakfasts I ask the hotel and Hilton in general, to pay more attention to sustainability Using styrofoam plates and single use plastic utensils and cups is no bueno

I wish i saw a 0, I would have scored you a 0, my experience was horrible, after booking through a third party for 6days, on my final day i missed my flight and requested for an extension which was done for me, went out came back to see the room cleaned all my stuffs were taken off including my anointing oili spoke to a front desk staff who put me through to the manager and we ended the call on a cordial note, but was rudely called by the same front desk officer and she started telling stuffs that i couldn’t understand, i told her to calm down that there was no need for her giving me attitude, next thing she said i going to check you out and i should leave the property, i said no and demanded to speak to her manager, next thing she did was to called the police on me, that was very scary and traumatic, i was eventually asked to leave by the policeit was really a sad day for me!!!I will never come to any home2 or Hilton subsidiary hotel again

Overall an alright stay Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were clean There’s a park with a creek right next to it

But I am a young female and had a male house keeper walk into my room at 8:30am and again at 9:30am unannounced They did not knock or say they were entering, just walked in They told me they are not aware what rooms are occupied Which okay, but they could at least knock and say a verbal warning?? I would leave a do not disturb sign on your door while staying here

Your key card system was apparently down and no one could tell me if this was a 30 minute emergency issue or a two day emergency issue Associate did not seem to care despite disgruntled guests, offered to refund me for my entire stay, but had the nerve to still implement a $75 pet FEE Horrible and did not make sense, when you are inconveniencing guests with having to get escorted to and from their room all hours of the day/ night on top of there only being one person working

So others are having to wait on you while you put a Be Right Back sign out, and you are still implementing a pet fee makes no sense when there is a card for incidentals on file and you are protected either way Apparently they do not care about business practices, because it’s fine to loose out on a $130 room but not a $75 pet fee My family had to spend an hour trying to cancel and rebook somewhere else in your lobby while your associate was on speaker enjoying a personal conversation laughing the entire time because of your key system and lack of compassion Do better

I was there from Thursday to Sunday loved every other time I’ve gone there never had a problem at all hotel has always been great Until this stay Mind you I was there 4 full days 3 nights

Night 1 we went to lay down at the end of the day had not be on the bed at all it was still tucked in like it should be when you arrive and it had an odor to it I asked my husband am I crazy? He says no I definitely smell it So I called the front desk she said ok I’ll have a cleaning lady go clean the room for you I said okay thank you That cleaning lady never came My son had to go and flag one down to ask if we could have towels because there was not 1 towel in my room after we used them and put them by the door as instructed by the housekeeping and we then received a small fleece blanket Not the down comforter that was supposed to be on the bed Okay no big deal right? Well every day after that I had to go ask for freaking towels because they never came to leave any We stayed 4 days! And had to get our own towels every single day Also the trash was unreal I had to go buy my own trash bags to put the trash in because NO ONE EVER CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM And to top of this less than mediocre stay on our last night there 7 trucks get broken into One of them being mine Everything was torn up and they stole items from my truck in the parking lot of this establishment WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS A HOTEL STAY FROM HELL I AM NOT KIDDING

I stayed here this past weekend and I have to say everything was just lovely I was staying with my daughter, her husband and baby so we reserved a 2 room suite, the hotel offered to let us use a pack and play free of charge while there so that my grandson could sleep The pack and play was new, like it had never been used which was wonderful

The staff was so welcoming and nice, the breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed the quiches for breakfast! First time staying at a Residence Inn but it will not be my last! Thank you for a pleasurable stay!

Residence Inn have not changed one bit from the early 2000’s when I was traveling for work It’s 2022 a lot needs to changeHere is my list of concerns

1 The first room couch bed was broken and the room smelled like mildew, we requested a different room2 The second room smelled the same as the first one, so that tells me they don’t service each ac unit regularly and with covid still prevalent, it needs maintenanced at least every other week3 The rooms are outdated even though they added stainless steel appliances to have it appear updated4 The Marriott name when it comes to Residence Inn is being tarnished all because it appears that upper management doesn’t care about making sure the customers keep coming back to The Residence Inn5 The only reason I even stayed here is due to someone else paying for it The last time I stayed, my team had to be moved to another hotel6 I have a proposal for Marriott/Residence Innif you need assistance with rebranding I am more than willing to assistfor a fee7 Today, you need to be brought up to standards so you can stay in competition with the likes of Hilton and their brand

Matha Goram

The small team of dedicated and hardworking staff can only do so much when their hands are tiedThe age of the place can be deduced by the soiled carpets, chipped furniture and non-existent pest control servicesThe breakfast was a joke compounded by the failure to label the ingredients of the prepared food to assist those with allergy or dietary concerns

Wins the race for the worst Residence Inn experience in 35 years!
