A great stay! The front desk staff was so kind and helpful Comfortable beds, two elevators that work quickly, the gym fitness center area was newer and relatively updated which is always nice We didn’t have a car, but as others mentioned, we heard another guest talking about the complexities of parking so you may want to check that out beforehand if that’s a make or break for you

The rooms felt clean and we did do the “tidy service” where they make the beds, etc, while you’re out since they aren’t currently offering the standard daily cleaning So be sure to request that before 9am or the day before if you’re wanting it next day We’ve stayed in other hotels and they have the same policy right nowGreat customer service, and a comfortable stay with tons of options within walking distance from a small Target to several restaurants/casual eateries It’s not going to be the glitz and glam of a luxury stay, however a good value and would recommend to others

Kris Shannon

Rooms were clean although a bit too modern for my taste, therefore they seem a little cold Good staff was nice but not terribly thorough at times Breakfast was pretty good, and the pool was nice

Parking was confusingThe biggest issue is that this location must be popular with motorcyclists We heard lots of revving and racing late into the night which made it hard to sleep

Sandy Rhodes

We’ve stayed at this hotel every year, sometimes twice a year for my son’s Cincinnati children’s appointments since 2015 This year we were let down Checking in took forever

1 woman checking everyone in while 2-3 others sat in a room behind check in doing nothing Day 2 of 4 we were charged well over the hospital rate and told now there’s a $20/day incidental charge The parking garage was finicky and charged$20 instead of $12 our last day The bathroom didn’t have a fan, and the breakfast was the same eggs and sausage every day We love the location, but this trip made it harder to be away from home

Amber Grembowski

The hotel is exactly as pictured on the website, no bait and switch with lower quality when you arrive Our room was incredibly clean and kept well upon arrival The reservation was accidentally put in my maiden name and I think the woman checking me in was more nervous than I was about them not having it

We had an issue with our door when we went to dinner the first night – it looked like a kid had been pulling the handle or something and it wasn’t as secure as it was when we arrived so they switched us next door within 5 minutes no big deal We had breakfast at the hotel on day 2 assuming we’d get something light based on the photos of breakfast but they actually have a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, warm breakfast sandwiches, as well as all the typical cold stuff and pastries We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

C Thom

Our room was HUGE, definitely spacious The elevators moved super slow and one of them was down the next day so it made the wait for an elevator longer I didn’t experience any issues with noise

The location is pretty ducked off but next to a movie theater Teenagers that were leaving the theater seen us in the window and came into the building and knocked on our door!!! Definitely not safe to have anyone able to walk in the building at night The pool was pretty wild with no one supervising Breakfast the next morning was a mess! We had to ask for clean bowls, more waffle mix, a refill on cereal and the person working the area had an attitude when you asked! This is a good place to stay if you don’t care about service

Thank you to Nikita, front desk TALENT, how exhibit amazing customer service!! She needs a raise and a promotion to be a part of the training staff!! While the room I selected is not the room I received, she jumped into action and came up with a workable resolution She was very professionalThe hotel is conveniently located 20 minutes from down town, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby

Be advised that a late night food run will require your patience, wait times can be up to 45 minutesEnjoy your stay!

Lisa Whiteley

The hotel was really nice

I really liked that the bedroom had a separate door from the livingroom/ kitchette and the bathroom was off the bedroom instead of being right next to the suite main door The breakfast was grab and go but was filling and delicious ( each bag had an apple, granola bar, and a muffin/danish) The bathroom had some cosmetic issues But overall very happy with our stay and would recommend

Sheena Williams

Im from out of town and rented the hotel They had roaches I haven’t seen a roach in real life since the 90’s

Not just one but the room had a family of roaches crawling all on the table and in the kitchen cabinet I walked into the rooms and they scattered all over across the table when I cut the light on I was so embarrassed because I had other family members rent the same hotel so we were in the same location I left immediately and the staff didn’t want to make eye contact and was pretty unbothered I was told that I would get a refund Fingers crossed

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be let downEverything about my stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and modern And view was amazing I can honestly say this would be in my top 3 of hotel experiences! I will definitely book here the next time I’m in town

Brie Welch

Hotel is very clean, and feels modern If not a bit quiet even Hotel room was extremely spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable

Only disappointment was there was no hot-tub with the pool Gym was big and had everything you could need Staff was friendly, helpful and personally loved the atrium effect Good views of Ohio, rivers and bridges And close enough to walk to downtown – about 23 min over the bridge Would certainly stay again

Mary Regan

My sister, niece and I were there for an event and stayed 2 nights The staff was friendly and the room was great The view was phenomenal

the valet staff was witty and engaging each time we needed them The event was there in the hotel and I hope it will be again next year as I will be back and look forward to staying with you all again The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when I checked in the front desk said I had a King room but I had booked a 2 queen room and was told I would have to take the king but then another associate indeed found me the room I booked I was given complimentary breakfast tickets which I thought was a nice touch The breakfast buffet was good

Beonca Ramirez

We absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel Perhaps they will add more art to the second level

We rented the deluxe king and the room was clean and cozy The bathroom tiles in the shower were a very nice touch The restaurant Metropole, which is with in the hotel, was absolutely delicious We stayed during the week of Christmas, we were able to attend an indoor light show within walking distance of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel

Jess Duffy

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Daniel McGee

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

Close to the interstate clean rooms we had a 2 bedroom loft The only thing I’d change about the layout is the king bed is in the loft which essentially gives no privacy to the occupants in the loft and seeing as the king bed would typically be the master bed you’d think it would be down stairs in the bedroom and the 2 twins would be in the loft Just my opinion though

We didn’t get to sleep very well As my room was right across from elevator We had to hear people in hallway getting on and off elevator

Rebekah Hunter

We really liked this apartment It was very clean and spacious It was convenient to downtown, and there was parking right across the street for a very reasonable price

We did have trouble with the keypad for the building, which I won’t hold against the property itself because I understand it’s the building owner who is responsible for that, but they did have someone on the property at the time of check in who was able to help us, and there is a key card once you enter the room that worked just fine Also, the little convenience store in the lobby was a nice surprise

Amy D

Not sure if there is any actual on site staff but did see a security guard in the lobby a few timesSupport was virtual but always accessible, had a slight issue with the thermostat and it was promptly resolvedOur suite was actually more like a studio apartment with full kitchen, high ceilings and very comfortable

The building is older – as are the elevators but we mainly used the stairs so wasn’t an issue – but the suites are very modernizedOverall we enjoyed it and would stay there again

bree williams

If you are not familiar with the area, the property can be difficult to find This was my first “virtual staffing” experience with a hotel, so it was odd not having someone there to greet you & tell you about the area I flew in from Los Angeles and so staff made accommodations to have my room prepared for early check in

That was much appreciated! I wasn’t aware the front door code was emailed to me, so I was waiting maybe 5 min to get inside of the property No big deal The room was nice! The only thing I noticed, was that it seemed like cleaning was rushed There was dust and dirt in all corners of the room and there were strands of hair on the shower wall Overall, a decent experience The noise from the city at night can get bothersome, but it is a city so it was expected Location is great Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and some attractions

Our stay was great! Hotel looked great I didn’t see past Lobby and room since we got there late in the day Room was so clean Hotel was in a great location

Stay: June 16-18thReason: ConferenceExperience: Overall, my stay was positive and enjoyable My room was comfortable and clean (but the bed doesn’t face the TV?) I had a great view of the fireworks at the Great American Ballpark! However, my check in experience was frustrating

I booked a room block with the conference I was attending which was a king room I was put in a double queen on the top floor I called down to the desk to ask if I could be placed in the correct room and they accommodated my request I hauled my luggage back downstairs to pick up keys to my new room, and once I got to the room the keys didn’t work I had to haul my luggage back down to the desk again to get new keys and finally was able to get into my room I dined at the breakfast buffet prior to checking out and overall the food was okay The bacon was pretty salty but everything else was tasty I do want to warn you that you will have to park across the street in the garage (it cost me $48 by the time I left on Saturday) and there is no assistance to transport your luggage, so prepare yourself!

Our 1st date was at the Top of the Park bar June 2021, that experience was absolutely amazing The staff, high level of customer service and personal attention made us feel at home When Chris proposed 8 months later the The Phelps was our #1 choice

It was meant to be as our wedding date was availableOur families checked into the hotel and immediately knew why The Phelps is considered our special placeThe front desk staff is remarkable and makes a point to remember guest by their names They’re beyond accommodating with area suggestions for restaurants, local sight seeing and valet is never a waitThe rooms are well decorated and spacious with full kitchens The bed is beyond comfortableThis historic hotel offers beauty of its craftsmanship and picturesque location in CincinnatiThe hidden gem however is the breakfast served daily by pinnacle crew of phenomenal service staff The breakfast is comparable to “Grandma’s house” with hot servings of homemade grits, buttered biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit and all the other traditional servings at a Continental breakfast The food was better than the local breakfast restaurant I am in love with attention and care demonstrated by Debbie, Angie and Tasha as they assured the food was hot and plentifulOur wedding was perfect and the operations team led by Paul and catering manager Ashley Teal delivered on our expectationsI highly recommend for a weekend getaway, event planning or just a trip to engage in high level serviceMy husband and I consider The Phelps as our preferred hotel in Cincinnati for consistency of service, location, ease of check in process, best in class breakfast and spectacular city views

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

We stayed here when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a two bedroom unit Loved having the little kitchen area to store any food and the big fridge was great

Location wise it’s not far from a lot of things The place itself was very clean Breakfast was great Kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool in the evenings I liked that it wasn’t right on a busy road Even though it’s close to the airport there wasn’t a single time an airplane was loud enough to bother us or for us to even notice

The staff was Amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating Breakfast was great and Happy hour was awesomeThe bed was super comfy which is a plus for us! The shower heads were top notch which we’ve decided to have that added to our shower in our home

We have no complaints and stayed for two weeksThank you to all the staff for your hospitality!

Michelle Kenworthy

I gave a 3 star because the room we stayed in was stated to be ADA accessible with a roll in shower That was not the case The shower had a large lip

As for the toilet, it was so low that I couldn’t get up without help, there were no grab bars around the toiletIf not for that I’d give it a 5 The hotel was clean, food was decent, some days better than others but overall was fine We had 3 breakfasts and one dinner thereHotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful They made our stay very pleasant I would stay again

The best customer service! I did not stay at the hotel itself, but I can vouch that their customer service is outstanding I dropped my purse by accident near their parking garage Luckily someone found it and took it to the front desk at Holiday Inn

The manager found me on social media, messaged me, and kept my items safe in their office until I was able to return and pick it up I was so grateful! I was traveling for work and my ID, credit cards, EVERYTHING were in that purse I would have been stuck! Thank you so much to the team at Holiday Inn Downtown Cincy to saving my day

Excellent experience! When I first walked in I was greeted by Christopher at the front desk He was so sweet and welcoming and had so much knowledge of the area He gave us great food suggestions and told me where to get the most for my money while shopping! Once he got us checked in we went to our room

Again, I was pleasantly surprised The room was was so clean! Everything looked new and smelled amazing! If you need an affordable night away from home, come here! You won’t regret it!!

I was looking around for a hotel for my 15th wedding anniversary, specifically for a jacuzzi suite It was a Saturday night, and every hotel was either booked or the room cost over $350 for one night Also most of them had very small jacuzzi tubs

I stumbled across a listing for LivINN, and I was a bit hesitant because the price looked a little too good to be true, but I took a risk It was a risk that paid off beautifully The hotel is lovely, very clean and very well maintained The staff was so friendly and courteous, and when I got to the room I was stunned It was so clean, roomy, and comfortable The tub was huge, filled very quickly, the jets were strong but not uncomfortable The location is very convenient, tons of dining and entertainment options just a couple minutes away I’m simply amazed that it was the most affordable, but also the nicest jacuzzi suite we have ever stayed in If you get the chance to stay, this is a hotel you can not beat, for a great price

We were part of the convention in the Sharonville convention center Choosing this hotel was a great choice We didn’t know that all we had to do was walk out the side door, skip 50ft and walk right in the door! Room was spacious, very neat and clean

Checking in staff was helpful and friendly when asked about places eat The pool was very cool and they had sides that opened up without door seating and a fire pit

Pleasant surprise! Nice, quiet stay Bed was comfortable and room was clean Nice size microwave & fridge

Shower & bathroom was clean & roomy Unfortunately, I didn’t get to sample any of the breakfast or other amenities the hotel offered, but look to do so next time Overall, a great stay and will definitely do so in the future! 45 out of 5

Staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful However, my AC didn’t work in my room One maintenance person replaced the batteries in the wall unit since it said low battery

We thought that would fix it but it didn’t Called the desk a few more times about it that night, they did eventually offer to move me rooms but I was going through a lot and didn’t feel up to doing that so they did bring a fan up that evening which helped get me through the night The front desk rep that answered that night opted to take $50 off my stay as well as have someone come fix the ac the next day I never did get the $50 credit but the maintenence man Don came the next day and got the ac to work He was honestly the kindest and most helpful person My first night staying i was also 3 minutes too late to the drink/snack thing they offer and was told it’s on a timer so they couldn’t help me plus no food was out anymore I know it was my responsibility to be there on time but I wasn’t even 5 min late and was denied both my drinks and food which was very disappointing All in all not a bad stay The room was beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly and did try to be helpful but I’d be lying if I said this was a great Drury inn experience The pool and hot tub were the highlights of my experience here Absolutely lovely, well maintained and the hot tub was nice and hot 😌

Very nice and well kept hotel Staff was thoroughly pleasant Check in was easy, room was ready at check in time

Room was very nice, didn’t feel cramped even with a standard King room Stayed during a busy weekend but heard no noise at all as walls seem well insulated Instead of little bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash the tub is equipped with dispensers so you have plenty Bed was very comfortable Breakfast is daily from 7-10 am and consists of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy along with various cereals, all very good There is also an evening meal served at 5:30 with a main course (varies by day), sides and snacks as well as 3 free adult beverages per guest, all meals served in a nice common area at no additional charge Parking is ample and hotel is easy to find Will definitely return

My family stayed here while on a little vacation to the zoo and aquarium, during spring break For the most part, I loved this hotel Our room was clean and roomy The pool was great! The kids all loved going swimming on multiple days and the pool was always clean with plenty of fresh, warm towels

The staff were all nice and helpful We never had a problem getting a good parking spot near our entrance It’s close to everything The zoo and aquarium were 10 minutes away There is an amazing Target 7 minutes away! The only thing lacking was the free breakfast in the morning From their website it appeared that they had a wonderful selection of breakfast foods but ended up only having some type of sausage sandwich, standard cereal, oatmeal, muffins, etc There weren’t any eggs, bacon, potatoes or anything like that, so it was disappointingNice hotel, though, and met our needs perfectly

Shannon Citro

Staff have been helpful each time I’ve been here Location is super convenient for work, so nice bonus there Breakfast isn’t amazing, fitness center is a little small and ceiling is very low so a tall person on an inclined treadmill wouldn’t work

The bathroom set-up in the rooms is also very odd and a bit inconvenient for a single traveler, but I sort of get it?

Yam Jeanette

This hotel is located in a office park Everything you seen on the company website is what you will see and received Check in was clear and concise

You will have to pay for parking though so just add an extra 10 dollars a day on the days you will be here Close the the Casino 😜They also have alot of lighting even by the bed which I thought was neat Overall I liked it

The hotel front desk staff were rude and unhelpful They did not have our suites we paid for 2 months ago Gave us one room for 9 people when were supposed to have 2 adjoining rooms

Took 45 minutes for them to give us another room on the other side of the hall Asked for more towels and they never sent them up 6 elevators to accommodate 2 hotels in the building and only 2 worked, and they were constantly filled, and very small Thankfully we were on the 4th floor and took the stairs most of the time Breakfast was good Valet staff was excellent, and reasonably priced I have stayed at other Homewood Suites in different cities, and they were outstanding So this is not the norm for that Hotel chain that I have found I would never recommend this hotel to anyone in Cincinnati Major fail!

Kennedy Marie

Let me preface that the staff that I met at the hotel were very nice, but lacked resources Upon arrival there was 1 receptionist who did her best to provide sufficient customer service How ever the cleanliness of the hotel is not up to par

The was HAIR in the drain and walls of the shower After reporting there were no accommodations or visits from housekeeping I thought this would be similar to the Homewood suites in Atlanta, but it was nothing like it

Ben Werling

Overall, it is a clean and adequate hotel The rooms are nice enough Close proximity to most things

We had issues with our refrigerator running which was quickly addressed by maintenance We also had issues with the AC in our room and were given another room without issue but the night staff did not update the day staff and someone entered our room with us in it The parking as with anything in downtown Cincinnati is expensive but the valet staff are friendly The front desk staff were friendlyHowever the breakfast was a disaster Trash was scattered everywhere On a Saturday morning virtually all the food was gone The coffee was gone There seemed to be no initiative or apology by hotel/kitchen staff to replenish these despite multiple verbal complaints by guests in line With a half hour left of breakfast, a guest apparently went to complain to the kitchen, which then prompted a verbal altercation from hotel staff that almost prompted violence towards a guest
