Dorothy GIFT FROM GOD

Stayed in one of the suites absolutely love the Borgata it is so clean and I really enjoyed the amenities but it had to offer Thank you my friend for inviting me I would definitely recommend this place Make sure that you get a card so that you can gain points while you’re playing any games

The restaurants were really nice I went to the two different buffets which offered a lot of good food The view from my room was fabulous I will return five stars Parking is $5 in the hotel, if you go you have to stop at the butter deli something like that they have these croissants it’s in the picture and inside is spinach and cheese it was absolutely delicious It cost $6 but a well worth it

It is my first night here and it has already been the worst “luxury“ resort experience I have hadUpon check-in I discovered that my room had no been cleaned The bed wasn’t made and the bathroom was covered in trash

When I brought this up with the front desk they seemed surprised that I would be put off by this They did quickly give me a new room which was niceAfter that I attempted to grab some stuff from my car from valet parking This took literally 30 minutes even though it was a Wednesday night and there were only 2 of us waiting for my car Again, the lady working the valet desk did not seem at all surprised that we were waiting that long I think I got charged $10 extra for thisAfter this I went to the casino and lost all my money in Blackjack, which has been the only fun part of this trip so far I tried drinking my sorrows at the casino bar after this but both bartenders ignored me so I leftI then went to get a sandwich at Bread & Butter which was delicious but was somehow a 30 minute long ordeal at 1amHere’s to my luck changing tomorrow!

My first time at the Borgata and it was a wonderful experience My boyfriend booked a weekend getaway for us and I was surrounded by ‘the feelings I love to have’The Borgata had a nice clean smell, bathrooms, elevators were in great shape

We made reservations for all activities Food at the restaurants were welcoming to my taste buds The corridors outside the hotel rooms were kept up to excellent standards We reserved seats for The eighties rock band and had a blast Definitely going back and I invite you to go to the Borgata You’ll not be disappointed

Great location, right over the bridge to Ocean City Right next to a good restaurant, and across the street from the diner The room we stayed in was a good size, the beds weren’t very comfortable though (but I don’t find many hotel beds comfortable) If you have a room facing the bay, you have a great view

We didn’t use the pool because we only stayed 1 night, but we did walk down to check it out and it was a big area with plenty of lounge chairs facing the water We would definitely stay here again!

Dawn F

Last minute getaway I always thought this was a rundown hotel but stayed here over the weekend with my husband and was pleasantly surprised The bay view was incredible! So very peaceful

Room was clean and front desk staff were very nice Free breakfast includes coffee, tea, muffins and yogurt Our only complaint was the beds were not comfortable at all and the heater was loud and took our room forever to get warm Other than that it was a delightful stay and I would stay here again

Check-in and out was so easy! Nancy is so nice and accommodating! Loved the email we got before our stay which includes a packing list and “things to do before leaving home” list! So much information that you really get to relax! It’s so close to the beach and a beautiful park! I would recommend this B&B 100000%! Eating breakfast and drinking tea on the front porch was seriously the highlight of my time! It was really cool meeting other people that were staying and seeing all of the cute pups throughout the weekend! Nancy has honestly thought of everything possible and you feel right at home! 🙂

Ottavia Racki

This place is absolutely AMAZING! I came here for a week with my boyfriend and dog, Not to many ppl are dog friendly, but Nancy loves them We stayed in the Jr Penthouse Suite for the first 5 nights, it was beautiful, it was clean a huge hot tub, the jets work great! From there went to the Red Sail Suite for our last 2 days, that room was also beautiful, with a full size fridge, separate living room area, outdoor private porch! Now on to Nancy the host, she is incredible! She is so sweet and welcoming, she gave several choices for breakfast every morning that u could choose from with a time, even if u where late, she didn’t mind! Everything from towels to bed sheets were all clean and smelled like good softener! 😊 I felt like I was home and didn’t want to leave

I will definitely be back again Thank u Nancy! 😊😊😊😊

Our weekend holiday stay was exceptional and the food was good and plentiful The entire establishment is well kept Our room was really nice and comfy

The staff was very caring and helpful The front office desk manager, Jessica Perez, was the bomb She has wonderful interpersonal skills and a very caring personality She put us up on all the vacation happenings in Atlantic City and surroundings She’s truly a blessing to this establishment Jessica ROCK!!!

Chantel McLaurin

Awesome weekend stay! Clean rooms with a mini fridge, microwave, and k-cup The room had black out curtain that was great and lots of outlets/usb ports for charging Plenty of space for luggage and clothes

Hot breakfast was eggs, sausage, and oatmeal Cold breakfast options were good too (Would have liked some non dairy options) Nice beach behind the hotel Parking was okay, does get a bit full Staff was very nice and helpful

William Glover

Our experience at this hotel was excellent It’s right on the Bay and we had a Bay view from our room It was nice to just walk downstairs and be on the little beach there

Location makes it easy to stay at a better price with quick and easy access to Atlantic City The later in the day you go into the city for something (we went for a concert at the Hard Rock) the earlier you want to go in as traffic builds afternoon into evening and parking can be an issue Go even earlier than you think you have to You’re probably going to something at one of the casinos so there’s plenty to do and eat while you wait The room at the hotel was clean; everything worked and I’d recommend

I always have a great time at Tropicana It’s always clean Despite the pandemic, it was a nice crowd

The new room reservations were nice They have a nice selection of eateries and restaurants It was nice to see everyone cleaning on the casino floor My only issue was with the party next door making a lot of noise at 3:30am but the hotel was very accommodating I will definitely be back to visit

kam kohli

The stay itself was great Location is awesome, right on boardwalk and 24 hrs casino and food service with bar Express Check-in and check-out process was fabulous, you don’t have to wait for anyone and they charge a minimum amount of parking for the whole stay (super cool)

The only thing which I didn’t like was the bed (mattress), very uncomfortablecouldn’t able to sleep Hotel needs to fix the bedding system (bed and pillows) Rest all was Fab 🙂 100% recommended

Adam Schupak

Overall, for Atlantic City standards, this hotel is pretty good Clean, soft beds, and nice views (If you’re in the west tower and on floor 38 or higher)! The shower in our room didn’t have hot water The hottest the water got was lukewarm, and to get the faucet in the bathroom to run, we had to pull very hard on it to flow

Besides the rooms (which smelled nice), most of the hotel, and casino on the bottom floor, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes and tobacco Even in the hallway on our floor (floor 43), it smelled like it The gym in the hotel is great along with the selection of restaurants in the “quarter” Most of the restaurants, however, are mostly full most nights so make sure to make a reservation at them before hand! Other then that, this is a great hotel!

Pleasantly surprised as we booked this in the middle of the winter without seeing the room It was a very nice spacious room with an attractive updated bath and a no step shower King size bed was excellent

The room opened onto a spacious porch by way of French doorsfor your morning coffee A large countertop, refrigerator and sink were conveniently located We loved our stay hereEveryone we encountered at the hotel were very accommodating, friendly and pleasant The service was great and the rooms were clean The cleaning people were very good tooThere was no smoking in the hotel but permitted on the balcony which became a real downer since we are non smokers and our neighbor next door smoked a very largecigar in the morning It took him about two hours to burn the thing up and all the smoke filled all the balconiesWe would love to see the management make it a no smoking hotel including the balconies

I’m a repeat visitor to Ocean Manor This place has all the old charm from the Victorian era Love the properties here and the proximity to the center of the boardwalk

Staff is very pleasant and very attentive Prices seem to have bumped a tad higher but I do believe they’re still comparable to, if not better, than the local “big hotels” Give Ocean Manor a try, you won’t be disappointed

junie wright

Very very close to the beach and boardwalk but not ocean front Victorian vibe mansion , 4 floors, with elevator, in room 2D 2 full beds, beautiful white and sky blue theme room, small room but everything in place, enough space to move around for 4 guests, complete with microwave and small fridge, worked perfectly

Small bathroom but updated, space saving pocket door, clean white and blue theme, with hairdryer Patio has table and chairs to hang out Window blinds luv them!Owner responsive even late at night

Just got back from our son’s wedding weekend Rehearsal dinner, wedding and after wedding breakfast were great Karen, the wedding coordinator was perfect

Kept everything running smoothly Food was good and plentiful for all events Our only disappointment came with our room Rented room 905 – penthouse for the weekend to use for pictures, and some entertaining Room was not cheap, even for off season We arrived to find the room dusty with smudges and fingerprints on glass and other surfaces Wallpaper on the ceiling was peeling, lights were out in the master bathroom Next day the bathroom faucet broke and the private elevator got stuck between floors Had to call maintenance twice This was not what we expected renting the most expensive room in the hotel Complained to reception on checkout They were apologetic but only took $50 off the bill for the issues I would recommend the venue for a wedding, but avoid room 905 – it’s tired, in need of a good thorough cleaning and some maintenance issues Room 902 is below it and has better view and is in better condition

Rob Gentile

Beautiful building The room was spacious and clean, nicely renovated, with well designed kitchenette Microwave, stove, dishwasher all up to date

No true oven, but a toaster oven was available (look in the closet)Like many businesses, they do suffer from current lack of availability of staff Calls to make reservations at the restaurant went unanswered, as did calls to the spa Spa services very limited, again due to lack of staffA lovely building, great location, which are well recommended Only downside, not unique to the Flanders, is insufficient staffing which makes service subparWe would consider returning, but with the lowered expectations the mediocre service, for now…

Samantha Winterburn

The hotel was very clean and the rooms are all like mini apartments with a full kitchen and living area Went for a wedding where the food was delicious but the drinks really were not mixed well I guess that’s what you can expect for a dry town

Other than that the hotel is a great homage to the early 20th century and is maintained well Very convenient boardwalk access

**NEW HIDDEN FEES WARNING**Impala, the Wild Dunes and Ebb Tide Suites are now part of Shorebreak Resorts As of 2022, they have started charging resort fees to stay here, which are not disclosed anywhere on their websites and the fee is not disclosed when you checkout online The new resort fee is $25/night (higher than many of the casinos in Atlantic City)

You do not get any extra resort amenities with the new resort fee You still get access to the pool and wifi, which were available prior to the new fee When you checkout online, the resort fee is added to the taxes line It is not disclosed as a separate line item We noticed that the tax amount was significantly higher than the 11625% that is charged in OC They tax the resort fee as well Also, they are now charging a 2% credit card fee, which is not disclosed and is required The initial rate that is quoted to you when booking the room does not include the credit card fee It is added when you proceed to checkout under a fees line, which you may not notice that your amount has increased unless you’re watching closely If you’re going to charge these new resort and credit card fees, disclose them/don’t try to hide themWe have stayed at the Wild Dunes and Ebb Tides Suites quite frequently The Wild Dunes could definitely use some updating, especially with the mattresses and bathrooms Ebb Tide Suites are preferred and we enjoy them a lot more With these new fees, we will consider staying in Atlantic City more often since the rates there are often cheaper now

Tim Shapiro

I stayed at Wild Dunes a few weeks ago with my wife and son It was a memorable stay, but not for positive reasonsFirst, the parking lot is large enough to accommodate one vehicle for each of its 28 rooms

That would be fine if all spots were available, but they were not for us Apparently they were doing construction in the parking lot, which blocked access to half a dozen spots, and the staff did not tell us about this until we arrived and discovered it for ourselves So as a result we were forced to park a couple blocks away and carry our things to/from the place when we arrived/leftOnce checked in we attempted to connect to the wifi and were unsuccessful We called the front desk and were told the wifi was “spotty”The rooms have a sliding glass door right next to the front door (which makes absolutely no sense) The ridiculousness of this design choice isn’t the problem The problem is that you are forced to keep the curtains closed at all times so you don’t have to watch people walking back and forth But don’t worry, you are not missing the view If the curtains are open you’d see the rollercoaster in the park across the street, which you will also hear (complete with screaming people) until 11:00 at nightIf you like surprises, you’ll love the shower The temperature goes from scorching hot to ice cold with ease If you want anything in between you will need to constantly adjust the knob while showering, and enjoy the middle temps briefly until it reaches the other end of the spectrumThe only positive I can think of is the location If you are in town to enjoy the beach and boardwalk, the place is close But then again there are countless other choices in the area that are as close (or closer) to the beach If my family returns to the area, we will be exploring those other options

Meg Degreve

It was a good hotel Based on the pictures and reviews I was expecting something stellar But it is a 3 start hotel and I think that is exactly what you get

The staff and housekeeping was A+, no doubt The room was clean, but the carpets had that sticky carpet feel Now it’s the ocean and we are right in the shore line so everything sort of feels like that Our rooms deadbolt didn’t work so we had to put a chair under the handle at night The hotel does have a dining room but the waitstaff was limited so that took a while Not the staffs fault I guess what I expected was closer to 5 stars and that’s my fault for not looking closer But it’s right on the beach, free beach and pool tags, free umbrella and chairs for the beach your whole stay Plus that end of the beach doesn’t get as crowded as the rest So yes, it’s is a good hotel but it isn’t the posh hotel I sort of was hoping for If you go in with that expectation, you’ll love it here

Mark Lucas

The front desk staff was very helpful from the start The room was very clean and the view we had overlooked the pool and out to the beach was very nice with a small balcony for more relaxing or getting fresh air The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom had a large soaker tub which was relaxing at the end of a long day

Unfortunately the weekend we went the weather was rainy and very windy, but the accommodations were flawless and helped to make up for it I will definitely have to stay again hopefully when the weather is more cooperative

Axeman610

The Staff is fantastic ! Everyone was so friendly and helpful The room was large and spotless clean, the sheets and even the pillows are top quality The restaurant in the Hotel is the best food on the Boardwalk, the waitress and service was excellent

Location is PERFECT, close to the action but away from the noise I will be back soon and often

Comfortable Beds and Rooftop pool with great sunset view, a little bit of shade for swimming in the day when need a break from beach Cookie and Linda at the front desk were friendly and super helpful They got us a same day reservation, check in, beach and car pass, all while handling the phone that was ringing off the hook

We were able to check out the next day, use our complementary beach passes, keep the car parked there, and take a swim in pool before getting on the road Easy walk to boardwalk Suites are independently owned, but run as hotel We were in 207, over 500 square feet of space Would definitely stay again

We stayed in suite 418 this past week This place was highly recommended by a close friend who I trust completely Evidently we got the most disgusting, worst room

It was somewhat aesthetically pleasing, but as soon as we arrived, I immediately realized our room smelled horrific We bought two candles that evening and thought they would help disssipate the awful vomit like smell They did not help at all I should have requested and insisted on a different room I am mad at myself I didn’t The couch and the entire floor carpeting were filthy They had stains everywhere Our feet were black every single day The linens were thinner than hospital grade and there were large visible cigarette holes in the thin brown blanket that my children used on the pull out couch they slept on There were 4 of us in our room and 2 of us had to shower in a different room I had to request because the water was freezing by the time my second child took his bath I am a thin person and could hardly move in the small shower Every time I turned slightly, my body was touching the dirty shower curtain There were ketchup stains all over the room inside and outside on our deck It was disgusting We deliberately rented a penthouse suite to have a kitchen and didn’t even feel comfortable cooking there or eating anything more than breakfast cereal I had to wash all of the bowls and silverware before we used them because they all had dried food on them I would never recommend this establishment Do better!!!!!!!!

Tara Brown Beauty

I would honestly give this place 1000 stars if I could! Our room was soooo nice that I literally had tears in my eyes when we walked in! The room we had was so incredibly spacious, we didn’t feel crammed in It was so clean, the staff were amazing and the rooftop pool with a bathroom is really the icing on the cake! I highly reccomend this place and will be booking here next summer!

Unbelievably disappointing We have stayed at this property many, many times while visiting family in the area since it opened I called ahead of arrival to request linens for the sofa bed of the two bedroom suite we booked

Upon arrival, no linens and curt front desk employee who told me I had to come to the lobby for the items because he was the only one there Fine Arrived and there are no pillows (“we’ve been short of pillows for months”) and one very thin fancy sheet, no blanket Determined to make the best I return to our room One bathroom has two towels The second bathroom (again we have a two bedroom suite) has no towels whatsoever Absurd! A room that is billed for five people (and we paid prettily for it) has two bath towels and we were told upon arrival no service for seven days And let’s not even begin to discuss the sofa bed “mattress” We always gave little expectation for such things but this is truly only springs There is no cushioning whatsoever These gold elite members are incredibly disappointed in a property we once recommended wholeheartedly Marriott, you should be ashamed of the terrible arrival to our room we have experienced

This hotel has all the intention to be great but the efforts is not up to Marriott’s standards coming from someone who is one tier away from becoming an Ambassador Elite The breakfast is barely ever stocked just 45 to an hour after opening, my bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly, I notified the front desk the day of check in that the shower was not clean and nothing has been done, and housekeeping does not clean the room to the fullest; they’ll forget to do something may it be restocking the paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning the dishes from the sink THE FLOOR IS NEVER VACCUUMED! The staff however are very nice people, it’s just being the status I am and loyalty with Marriott, this is not up to their standards

Each time I visited we had issues During check in we requested a higher floor the front desk clerk stated that there wasn’t anything available We checked into a room and my allergies went wild

The room had a stench of mold and dog Went to the front desk and fortunately the manager was there We explained what we requested in front of the same desk clerk and the manager stated we are a pet friendly hotel I said I have allergies and that room will not work for me The manager then ask the desk clerk to put us in another room I was puzzled because of what same desk clerk told us about 20 minutes prior Our stay and the room we were finally assigned was much better and had a better smell on a higher floor

I debated on whether I should give this hotel 3 or 4 stars It’s not a 4 star hotel but should be given credit for its cleanliness (which is a big deal to me) and how comfortable the bed was I got some great sleep in their king size bed

I also appreciated having the fridge and microwave The free breakfast in the morning leaves A LOT to be desired They gave a lot of options but the best thing there is the juice I also was annoyed that i requested clean wash cloths and towels and never got them because they were in the wash This hotel is very basic But it’s clean and close to Atlantic City so I would stay again

The check in process took a while, we were in line for 40 min, but I understand considering there were 3 wedding blocks at the hotel Only one of the 2 rooms we reserved were ready, despite checking in and choosing rooms through the app ahead of time Not a big deal; only needed 1 room for all of us to get ready

Very long story short, my second room I reserved was given to someone else and I didn’t know it I didn’t go to physically check into the other room until after 11pm, but I had requested a digital key and all that on the app ahead of time I was given a 2 queen room instead of a king Wasn’t ideal but I said fine, it’s late Get upstairs, mind you I have a 4 month old with me, and the room wasn’t made nor cleaned An apology wasn’t given until at least 1/2 an hour after I told the front desk I was told they were going to try and figure something out because they were sold out The manager never came to speak to me nor contact me Nobody told us what was going on until 45 min of us waiting in the lobby The masher did give us a discount on one of our rooms, so I do appreciate that But I would not stay here again

Check in was smooth and even allowed early check in as there was a room available We rushed out to get to our destination after dropping our bags off When we got back around 11:45pm we noticed roaches

Roaches in the room inside the fridge and in the bathroom We went to the front desk to tell them and they moved us to another room I don’t as traveling with my husband, and our kids (4) ages 3months to 14 They moved us from a one bedroom suit to a standard 2 queen room Once going back down again Ben told us there was nothing he can do and refunded us our money We had paid for 2 nights Remember this all started at 1145pm So at 1230am my husband and I called around trying to find another hotel but everything was upwards of 400 a night as there were several events in town this weekend We ended up having to drive back home to Washington DC at 1245am Very disappointed in this hotel

When we arrived, we had no idea what to expect, but the second we got there, I was so impressed The owner was unbelievably friendly, warm, and inviting He was so nice and genuinely radiated his positivity and pride in his work in creating an inviting experience

The room definitely showed the amount of work he and his granddaughter and whoever else put into it The room smelled amazing, it was picture perfect and was well worth the money Especially the owner being accommodating to make our stay even better than it already was If and when we will come back, the Boulevard Motel will absolutely be our first choice of lodging I would absolutely recommend if anyone is looking for a place to stay, come to the Boulevard Motel!! You won’t regret it!!

What a great place to stay! It was perfect-Ocean City was a 10-minute drive away (never had problems parking in OCNJ-parking meters you can program from iPhone app all over the island) This is a family owned and operated business Room, bathroom, bedding, towels, everything-SO CLEAN!! A really nice touch: the owners put out a Keurig with complimentary coffee (and all the fixings) as well as some breakfast snacks each morning It’s a place you will choose to stay again and again

LOCATION!!!!! I love the location & affordable price to be that close! We didn’t have any concerns for a beach motel, it offered what we needed for the this trip The AC worked very well! Staff was friendly I would come back as price was good to be on the boardwalk

We also got to check in a hour early so I was happy! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Inn was dated but clean However one week after staying there my credit card was hacked RARELY use this card and this was first time in at least 6:8 months I did

I am very cautious and keep it for just such reasons Concerned that their system was not secure I contacted them to let them know Young person that answered phone cut me off mid sentence to get manager … Manager was rude, adamant that it was no way related to them said it was most likely my BANK?! Maybe, but I think not As I said I RARELY use this card and surprising that after I use it there I promptly get hacked There are so many ways to respond to someone Rudeness in customer service isn’t the preferred path I work in customer service and know this well I would not recommend them for this reason Thanks for the stay but we most likely will not be back Can’t trust you with my money

I’ve stayed at the Scarborough Inn for two years in a row It’s probably the nicest and most updated hotel in Ocean City, NJ The owners did a great job of renovating and the decor is esthetically pleasing

There are a lot of thoughtful touches: an envelope with your name beautifully handwritten on the outside with everything you need for your stay inside, tea & coffee in the lobby, drinks on ice by the door in the evening, and always a staff member around happy to give any information During my stay this year, I was happy to see that a laundry room had been added, as I just happened to need to it! The Scarborough Inn would be a wonderful place to host a family reunion or to meet up with friends due to the wonderful porch with plenty of rocking chairs and tables and a welcoming vibe It’s also just a couple of blocks from a great ice cream shop, a bike rental shop, and other nice dining options

I stayed at this Inn for 3 nights with my 16 year for a little beach getaway We have traveled quite a lot and I think this is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed You feel as if you’re staying a good friend’s house

There is always someone there to greet you when you get back Also, fresh cookies and coffee if you want it are also waiting On the porch old time music is playing which makes you feel a little bit like you’ve stepped back in time Huge porch for relaxing on after a long day at the beach and boardwalk Our room was so nice Very clean and modern The breakfast, while limited, was delicious every morning Anyone working there is just the nicest person and so attentive Cute decorations everywhere Very nicely done with great attention to detail Only 4 quick blocks to the boardwalk and beach I would absolutely stay here again and recommend anyone else to do so

Morgan Tay

Very, very clean and comfortable stay The rooms are a good size for a couple, there’s a flat screen smart TV with different types of apps for a millennial couple like ourselves, and the hotel decor is super cute The bathroom is clean, beautiful and definitely will get you squeaky clean

We did not utilize the porch just because we went during a heatwave in July but it looked like an fun time The location is great, close walk to restaurants and the boardwalk There is even a shower station outside to use when you get back from the beach so you can rinse sand off, super useful They really have thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable! Everyone was so nice, we seriously enjoyed our stay We will be back next year!

Our stay was very enjoyable The front desk was very friendly and accommodating Our room was on the third floor with a balcony that was overlooking the pool

The room itself was nice and included a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dining room and living room It was actually bigger then we thought it was going to be The morning of checkout the front desk allowed us to keep our vehicle parked there after checkout which was really nice! It is a short distance from the boardwalk so it was nice not having to find another parking spot for a few hours after checkout Overall I think this is a pretty nice place!

Francisco Alves

My stay was comfortable The parking lot has good space between the cars so you don’t have to worry too much about dings The check in process was flawless and the employee at check in was very pleasant and helpful

The hallways smell clean and the room was in good order as well I’d say the only negative would be the view however the balcony was a nice size of you wanted to sit out and get some fresh air
