The rooms were incredible I stayed over for a bodybuilding competition near the hotel The room was a spacious, modern suite with full kitchen—refrigerator, microwave, mini–stove, and dishwasher

This was very convenient since I brought meals for the bodybuilding show The front desk staff was especially helpful and accommodating Definitely will stay here again One of the best hotels I’ve experienced

Nice hotel Made reservations through Reservationscom for a Homewood Suites room with a Manhattan view

When checking in, I was told the room description did not match the listing on Reservationscom Despite room availability, I was given a non-view room on the Hampton Inn side of the hotel I feel this dispute between Reservationscom and Hilton should not result in a room downgrade for a prepaid visit I certainly won’t be using a third party to book in the future I’m undecided about staying here again

Joseph Park

We were not assigned our room until an hour after check in time (3:00) It was only after I asked to speak with the manager was anything actually done about it Please do not take on the capacity if you are not able to handle it

If anything, at least notify guests that rooms will not be ready by the expected time period This was a very special weekend for many people visiting Teaneck and for me, it happened to be tainted by the hotel staff’s inability to accommodate and communicate clearly

Excellent central location Rooms were clean The temperature in the rooms were too warm for us and unfortunately we could not turn it down

The beds were very comfortable The view was fantastic The lounge was comfortable, but needs more staff at breakfast I had to eat at an uncleared table The coffee machine did not work on one day also

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel while I stayed in Manhattan The staff was very friendly and helpful The rooms were very modern and immaculate

I had a view from my bedroom of Times Square, which was the best part! I felt very safe because after-hours, you need your room key to enter the building and use the elevators There is a bar that serves food and drinks in the evening, and a fitness center Each morning the hotel offers complimentary water bottles and breakfast on the terrace Visitors can also sit and eat on the balcony overlooking the cityso lovely! They offered a variety of choices for breakfast and it was a great way to start off my morning I couldn’t have asked for a better experience I will definitely be returning to the West house hotel in the future

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for 4 nights I’m not sure it’s a 5-star hotel It’s a boutique hotel, so generally more compact size in the lobby and dining area compared to a big true 5/star hotel

Staff was pretty friendly and helpful Room was semi-clean with general cleanliness, but furniture is old and could see crumbs in cracks of tables I believe the resident fee recently went from $30 to $50 We lucked out with booking still being $30 Not a bad deal if you use it for breakfast and light evening meal Plus all you can drink beer and wine Very convenient location with subway entrance almost at front door and Times Square 10 minute walk and Central Park a few blocks north We enjoyed our stay

My family and I have visited New York many times but so far this trip was the best, and all kudos goes to Park Hyatt hotel We were family of 12 and had 4 separate rooms All our needs and requests were taken care off by the hotel staff starting from welcoming us when we got down from our car, to upgrading all our 4 rooms to suites

The staff were very attentive and would get our breakfast on time The breakfast was amazing and our kids enjoyed their waffles the most The rooms were clean with an amazing city view from their big windows Their shower and pool was our favourite!

I loved this hotel From the service to the cleanliness, everything was perfect The steam room was everything I needed and the heated pool was also a nice touch

They clean your room every other day due to COVID-19 However, they give you clean towels and sheet per your requestI was very unhappy about that when checking out

Andrea at the reception is a nice representative of the hotel who was helpful to us Had she not compensated the inconvenience for us, I would be rating the hotel lower than this But I think their customer service is excellent So they deserve a 4-star review

Anthony McLean

Big suites for a very reasonable price, spacious parking, always friendly, helpful and courteous staff The fact that the room has amenities like large fridge, big powerful microwave, dishwasher(!), coffee heater, cups, plates, utensils, swivel TV and more is a huge plus When I return to the U

S, I always stay here Very quiet area with close proximity to Met Life Stadium, Teterboro Airport and the highway in to NYC and all areas of New Jersey There’s also a Costco, Lowe’s, Starbucks and other top stores, restaurants, etc nearby Love the place!

A A

Rooms were wide but the washing basins were clogging Breakfast food options were very limited The pool was closed so kids did not enjoy and they say this is till the end of the year for renovation

They always let you go to reception for any request as there is no staff! I do not know how they operate a Marriott hotel like this! Couple of employees were short tempered and with all of that the hotel is making us pay premium prices I would not recommend staying here

Rooms are very spacious with modern finishing Additionally housekeeping frequent and thoroughBreakfast is available and there was a pre-packaged breakfast option

This came in handy especially I had an early commute to workHowever be sure to confirm if the late check-out option is available as I was told that isn’t a standard offering

Eric Straughen

For a Home 2, this wasn’t bad Decently priced I had a shower issue the first night but in the am we had maintenance come fix it

No issues after Beds were moderately comfortable and the hotel traffic “noise” was kept pretty low No major parties or outside noise interfered with the sleepThe views from the room were walmart and highway 17 Parking wasn’t an issue

The breakfast area food was great Each day they had great meat out as well as bagels, coffee, juice and etcThe pool is nice too I am a very picky guest, and I did not run into any problems I would absolutely stay here again Thank you all for providing exceptional service

I love Marriott hotels and I have come to expect a certain standard This hotel looks good as they all do Perfectly located in relation to its close proximity to the American Dream mall

When I arrived they were 3 staff members at the desk However they seem to be understaffed at this specific location when comes to attending to guest services There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash upon arriving I had to request the missing items and was told to come down and get it as the person on the phone was the only one at the deskI thought no problem and went down for them since I wanted a quick shower But then I realized I needed towels and bed linens for the trundle bed and had to go down stairs againBreakfast was fine as expectedI just hope they get more staff for this location who will ensure necessary items are in room prior to guest arrival and just in case a guest needs something it would be nice if a staff member could bring it to the room

Danilo De La Pava

I am a long standing Marriott customers that felt compelled to advise other customers about this propertyExtremely busy check in with a little focused staff We arrived here after a more than pleasant experience at a Courtyard in Vienna, Fairfax, Va

At the Courtyard, as part of the check in, we were asked if we wanted to have daily housekeeping to what we answered, yes That was just one of the great service we received there On the contrary, this was never mentioned at this SpringHill at the check in, therefore our room wasn’t touched until we specifically asked for itOverall, awful experience Beyond, very great rooms, service is below expectations, front desk just average, breakfast needs improvement, but more important, space during breakfast needs to be improved; it is a disasterThe only shining touch, a great housekeeper that cleaned our room when we requested Beyond her disability, she went far and beyond to helped us

This hotel is an exceptional experience I’ve stayed at many hotels in NYC and the Baccarat is outstanding in every way From the moment we walked in until the day we checked out we felt taken care of

The suites are very large, excellent bedding, great bathroom, and the Baccarat crystal is a fine touch throughout For a couple looking for an escape this hotel is a top notch option, but I would never stay here with my children Spa and pool are excellent While I didn’t use the gym, the facility looked great The one thing you need to be comfortable with is that this place is very expensive across the board Don’t come to the Baccarat thinking you can save a buck here or there, you’re going to have to be comfortable with paying premium prices but you will also receive a premium experience Totally worth it and I hope to find may way back there again

Kristen (Gypsy Monkey)

Personalized lush service at its finest No I wasn’t lucky enough to stay here but enjoyed the bar immensely From the minute I approached the entrance of the hotel I knew this was going to be a great experience

Nice men in suits welcomed me with open arms and once inside I got the same treatment by the gentleman in the lobby He explained how to get where I was going without me having to ask When I got up to the salon /bar area I was blown away with a beautifully decorated interior There’s also a lovely patio as well The bar staff is friendly and there is an extensive selection of alcohol choices I also appreciate that they have some very creative non alcoholic options offered All of the drinks present very enticingly Also served with nuts & olives on the side Just an fyi there is a bar food menu in the back after the drinks I was also told I could order off of the salon menu as well I could sit where and eat wherever They are about the customer being “comfortable and relaxed” , Oh and before I forget they are very wheelchair accessible I noticed tables that looked to be a perfect height for someone in a wheelchair to be able to eat/drink easily Truly one of my best experiences in the city as of yet I look forward to coming to dine with you soon , Baccarat Many Thanks

Amy Johansson

I am looking for a nice hotel for my friends and I to stay at in a few months when we visit NYC for my birthday, and the good reviews encouraged me to call them to ask about their rates I have been trying to call them for three days now and no one picks up the phone I’m not sure what’s going on, but this is concerning given the level of service they are supposed to provide

At this point, I will be looking at other hotels

Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel, it was good Rooms look like they’re kept up with and they actually care about cleaning and maintaining them What made my stay over the top great was the lady that works the desk at night (didn’t get her name unfortunately)

She was super helpful and patient through the whole check-in and happily helped me with my 2-3 requests that I had throughout the stay Recommend this spot if you’re staying in the area

Dmitry Dolnikov

be aware that the rooms in this hotel do not have any kind of ventilation air in the room is stale and stuffy windows can’t be opened at all, there is no such option, by design, they are just air tight

imagine how it feels when you experience lack of fresh air and oxygen, increased co2 and decide if you’d like to book here i wish i knew this upfront and not chose this hotel ever

Carol Beynon

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but this place 0 stars I don’t know if it’s because we booked through a third party, but our room was filthy

It’s like they just came and made the beds and that was it… with comforters that had huge rips in them The floors and carpets had crumbs The bathroom floor had dirt and hair balls behind the door Oh and the microwave had dried up crusted food all in it It also reeked of cigarette smoke Thankfully we were only there two nights

Friendly staff and good location if you don’t mind the busy Broadway scene The shower in my room (16th floor) had low water pressure, and the “Continental Breakfast” was basically a plain bagel, Coffee and Bananas No gluten-free options, so definitely room for improvement there

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the room and Google won’t allow uploading videos on Google maps, but the room was decent and they didn’t charge me for receiving packages to the hotel — so I definitely appreciate that Overall 4/5 stars with some room for improvement

It’s okay I had a super tiny roomFor my money I prefer Marriott or Smarties Hotel Chain (TM)

Those chains don’t know what a small room is This place is tiny and they ask for your Vaccine card for everything ( so be prepared !! ) Gym is the BEST thing of this whole place Breakfast was toast and bananas Have fun !

The staff really make the experience So accommodating Shout out to Josh (go team pineapple on pizza) – started at check in with exceptional service at the front desk as we had a checked bag not make it to New York after airport trouble

They went above and beyond in understanding regarding that After recommending thoughtful venues and nearby facilities we were required to stop at we were directed to the lounge to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese hour where Valentino took great care of my girlfriend and I on her birthday after a previous stressful commute to New York we were put at ease and forgot the troubles in his attentive care Thank you for making our experience special and memorable

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay while in NJ with a remarkable view that’s quite unique!Front desk staff is very nice and helpful During check in I received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe skyline view! The hotel’s got all the amenities you’d want or need if here for business or personal travel View, lively bar scene, modern decors, fitness center, business center and very helpful staff

The bar had some popping music on Friday which was very cool! In fact this place reminds me of a W hotel except even more hip! Thanks guys for a wonderful stay so far!

Toni-Ann Mason

This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in NYC The staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly I stayed here for my anniversary and we enjoyed our stay that we didn’t want to go back to real life

The location was perfect the ferry is right outside There was absolutely nothing to complain about it was perfect and pet friendly The views were breathtaking

Melinda Rojas

I wouldn’t bother with this hotel Front desk needs better hospitality skills, the front desk drank on the job while checking us in! We could not get a good night sleep because of how loud the music was, room was okay, pretty clean There is no snacks or drinks in the fridge just coffee

It is very hard to get in touch with reception, due to the fact they walk away from the desk and do who knows what, but when we first arrived we saw him at the bar rushing over to the desk to check us In All in all not worth it, I would go somewhere that you can get better service for your money

This was my second time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint The rooms are beautiful and gorgeously decorated Oh, the Japanese toilet! All bathroom amenities were a nice size and lovely

When we checked in they asked if we wanted housekeeping services and we said yes Some services are cancelled because of Covid but none of those affected our stay We had breakfast in the Lamb’s Club and it was delicious (although expensive) The next day we ate elsewhere for less as there are so many places to eat nearby! The staff were very pleasant and helpful I can’t wait to go back again

Peter Ross

This was our first stay at the Chatwal and we are already planning a return trip soon Every aspect of our stay was excellent The staff, the space, the servers in the restaurant and bar were all top notch

The hotel itself is so well taken care of and the King Deluxe room was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave The design of the closures and cabinets are perfect The Lamb’s Club serves delicious food

Kaylee Locke

Welcomed by the lovely and attentive staff, checked in and swept off to our room within minutes – the team has set up champagne and flowers for us Every time we left, our room was cleaned/bed made, it was magical We weren’t even seeing any shows, but the location grabbed our attention because of how close it is to multiple subway lines

The room was quiet, you wouldn’t even know you were in the middle of Times Square

The hotel gym and pool are a mere disappointment It feels claustrophobic as they are in the basementThe room had a kitchenette so that was amazing since we could order food from outside and have it at the dining table The housekeeping was great too Although, they don’t offer free water bottles after first dayThe breakfast was very average and overpriced so I would suggest to eat outsideThis is a good property but by no means a 5 star They are somewhere between 3-4 starsPro tip: There are a couple of open parking spots where you can park your car for free for at least an hourWill not visit them again

This hotel is a gem, the staff is so accommodating and nice, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and clean, the most comfortable bed ever! The indoor pool is heated and super clean, they also have a fabulous Sauna! The hotel itself has a cute little bar and restaurant where they have amazing drinks and great food, the hotel isn’t loud and is very classy with lots of art everywhere I came with my kids and it was great to go to a hotel that is so kid friendly and has a staff that’s so pleasant! Will make this an annual visit!

Really clean and beautiful hotel in NY Felt really cozy and spacious for our entire stay We were trying to stay near friends who lived nearby but feel like we would book this spot again regardless

There was a mixup with our reservation that was booked through a 3rd party but Rachel at the front desk cleared everything up and gave us the same room and made it a non issue which is great since I did not want to be on the phone with customer service on vacation! I called and spoke with Rachel after the vacation and figured out the issue and it was no problem getting the previous reservation refunded Amazing service and a really cozy stay Would love to come back here again!

Excellent stop for the night as we were passing through Rooms were a little dated but seemed to be well kept Great location with ample parking

Breakfast was a nice touch, nothing fancy but was enough different options Very warm receptionists and very accommodating when we asked for an extra cot for the room Highly recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton in East Rutherford!

Very disappointed pool was not open for our children however I guess I looked and it said that on the website Unsure why though ? But I was impressed with my room very clean, and Spacious!!!! Awesome staff and location was great for people going to American dream or NYC Central Park was only 7miles ! Ideal for visiting a lot of amazing spots Elevator was making noises that WAS kinda scary though

But all in all I would give this hotel 38 out of 5!

I like this hotel It’s not the newest hotel around, but it’s certainly not rundown It’s definitely well maintained and clean

Cleaning staff were almost always visible and working My room had a tub, which I assume is standard I prefer showers Breakfast was good and service is excellent They have an outdoor enclosed half basketball court with an excellent vinyl floor and you can get a ball from reception to have some hoop fun The gym, though, is somewhat small and equipment a bit datedA big plus for me is the hotel’s location It is right opposite a small mall, which houses a Marshalls, Aldi and several eating options Several other restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive Don’t think that the close proximity to these shops make this hotel noisy or busy It’s very quiet and I felt very safe and secure I would undoubtedly stay here again

Perfect ‘big enough’ New York hotel! A bit on the pricey side but worth it Bigger rooms then many NYC hotels I’ve stayed in, lots of water pressure in the showers and Uber comfy beds with great pillows and comforter Concierge staff is super helpful and front desk efficient and well organized

My first choice for place to stay in NYC

The Whitby Hotel is 5-star by décor only, bare minimum service is our experience It was a very special occasion for us which we’d stated in every notes box and travelled from London for, not a single mention or congratulations Vastly different experience from luxury European hotels who seem to know how to deliver a service to match without an acutely uncomfortable expectation of constant tipping

Room was on the lowest floor they could give for the rate They couldn’t even be bothered to reply to an email post-stay to resolve the fact we’d been double charged
