This hotel was much nicer than I was expecting for the price! We arrived very late after landing at 1am I called ahead to notify them that we were still coming and they had our key all ready for us It was well lit and I felt safe there traveling with my child

There was a dog odor in the room, but when we turned on the air it dissipated quickly The beds were comfy and the room was clean and recently updated Breakfast was standard hotel hot breakfast with a pancake machine It was well stocked and the staff working it was friendly

Anthony Strong

The room was not clean A huge spider crawled out the shower when I opened the door The thing had to be quarter sized or better

I requested services as I was leaving both mornings for work and I got nothing The floor in the room was uneven By uneven I mean there was a hilltop between the bed and dresser Walls were thin, and despite calling the front desk, I had to go and politely ask my neighbors to please be quiet at 12:35 am I strongly do not recommend

Dionne Melton

Their phone only works sometimes When we, meaning me and other guests reported it to the front desk person she said she doesn’t know how to fix the phones Breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful but the breakfast items were not good

Fruit that was minutes from being spoiled, some type of strange egg patties, and mushy sausages The rooms needed some work, the desk had burn marks The hotel was so over run with kids that it sounded like galloping horses above our head Children we’re running the halls late A nice gentleman working did go and quiet then down We also didn’t get to utilize the pool or spa because they were full of small children with very few adults They also had a group holding a late night meeting in a conference room When it was over they just all stood around the lobby loudly hanging out They also helped themselves to the coffee and tea area and the attendant didn’t replenish it When I said there aren’t even any more cups or lids she said, how many do you want Lol I also complained that the walkways outside were ice covered She said that was handled by an outside company and that they had salted the previous night The beds were comfy I wish I could have left a better review

I selected this rating because the hotel was in an expensive area and I expected the hotel to be in much better shape than it was I arrived and got on the elevator only for there to be multiple chunks taken out of the floor This would be a huge risk for someone with a wheelchair or walker

I got off the elevator and you could smell that the carpet has a permanent unpleasant odor Then I get to my room and the curtain was broken going diagonal across the window and a metal piece that was supposed to be mounted to the wall was on the floor and the screws laying beside it I went to the front desk and the girl was adamant about putting me in a different room so I got put across the hall The second room I was put into also needed a work order because the bathroom sink didn’t drain It was an inconvenience to have to use the shower for my hand washing and dental hygiene The morning receptionist asked how my stay was and I told her staying at a Hampton inn in Easton Columbus I expected the hotel to be in better shape for what I payed and that my second room had a non draining sink She said ohh I will put a work order in and have a nice day I payed too much money to stay in such a run down hotel

Nic West

I really appreciated the location of this hotel, it was so close to shopping I got a room upgrade which I absolutely appreciated The room was huge! The bed was great as well

I didn’t care for the bathroom set up, with the vanity area being outside of the actual bathroom My only issue was the noise I think my neighboring room played music until the late hours and the front desk option didn’t work on the phone But all in all, I would stay here again

Meghann Shalosky

Overall, my stay was good for the price I paid The rooms are nice enough, thought they are a bit on the small side and dated There were a few pieces of cereal along the baseboards and the entertainment center that had been missed by housekeeping and the lighting wasn’t the greatest in the room, but the beds were comfortable

The bathroom was fairly clean but, again, dated Not long after check in we received a call from the front desk asking if we were satisfied with our room, so customer service seemed great Breakfast was from 6-9 On Monday the breakfast was good, but on Tuesday it was cold, hard, and not everything was in stock Monday evening I sat in the lobby and noticed leftover bits of food on one of the couches and under a decorative pillow Something was wrong with the elevator buttons, so on any of the upper floors we had to press the going up button even if we were going down Based on another review, this has been a problem for a while now

As a frequent traveler and a member, will definitely not stay at this location on my next tripFront Desk staff was very nice and helpful at check-in in but, we get to the room and the bathroom was not well cleanedThere was no tissue papers in the room nor the bathroom

Toilet paper was almost finished and we still have not received any as I write this review even though I have asked for oneI tried calling the Front desk and no one is picking upThere is no sign for do not disturb in our roomWe specifically asked for microwave when booking and was told they would provide it, we got to the room and there was no microwave so I had ask and was told they have it only in the suite so I insisted the check the recorded call before I was provided with oneFor someone who doesn’t know much about staying in a hotel and the standard amenities that comes with it, this hotel will be paradise for them but definitely not for me and my family

Kelbi Harman

Room was dirty, pretty sure bathroom hadn’t been cleaned from previous guest Soap was missing from the box on the counter Needs updating on things that are broken or damaged

Some lights wouldn’t work, or the phone or alarm clock Food/stains on walls, carpet and around lights by bed Hot tub was completely yellow and pool was not clear and had stuff floating in it Front desk staff was nice and helpful Location was good But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone We used a recommendation from a local store to stay here and I’ve notified them of the conditions of the hotel and that maybe they should pull their recommendation from the website We didn’t even attempt to try breakfast The ratings on this are very misleading It wasn’t a good stay at all

Beth Gelhar

You’re mostly paying for the location of this hotel in my opinion The place is a bit run-down Our room was clean, but had some noticeable issues

They didn’t provide enough towels and getting extras was difficult (we had to resort to grabbing pool towels at one point) Our mini fridge had what I can only describe as a god-awful smell- to the point that it was unusable The mechanism for the window shade was broken, so we mostly just kept the shade down because getting it to move was very difficultThe staff was very friendly and hard-working, so we appreciated that And breakfast was on-par with other Holiday Inn Express locations That said, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again simply because it was not a good value for the money

Spenser Dunham

The staff was amazing, super-nice, and helpful! The room and the rest of the hotel were a little dated, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable and the air conditioning worked really wellThe cost was fairly reasonable and is a little gem by the airport

Sky High Nikk

Front desk staff were nice at check in and the rooms were clean The hotel is extremely outdated and desperate need of a remodel The pool is needs fresh paint job

The reason why im giving it two stars is because obviously the rooms but because of housekeeping on our last day We were in the process of moving our stuff to the car and told the housekeeper outside of our door that we will be right back to get the last load in 5 mins The housekeeper ignores us and started tossing our belongings in the trash when we made it up to the room I called the front desk to complain and they didnt seem to care Very unprofessional ! I should have stayed at the nicer holiday inn on broad st!

We decided to take a quick getaway to Columbus and this location was fantastic The room quality and size for the price can’t be beat The room was very clean and the check-in/out procedure was easy

They had a great selection for breakfast and the employees handling that were very friendly as well We did not use the pool but it was open and looked clean We will definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area

Angela Sebesy

You can tell that the staff cares about the cleanliness of the hotel, due to how clean the rooms were Only reason for the 4/5 is because the walls are paper thin and we were woken up several times by the teenagers in the room next to us between 1a – 3a We had to call down to the front desk 3 separate times to rectify the situation and they did send someone up each time we called

Breakfast was good, even had gluten free options Definitely a convenient location if you are going to Easton for a shopping trip!

DJ E

Amazing hotel, just went last weekend! Very clean, pool wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be, but it was probably a lot of people that went in There must had been a cheer competition going on nearby, it was really busyOverall very comfortable, clean hotel, staff was amazing! This is probably the best hotel in Columbus, especially with it being by a shopping mall!

Carolyn Rozmarynowski

Great location, amazing manager, and very friendly staff combine to make this pretty friendly hotel a wonderful place to stay in Columbus! Though it is near the airport, it is not a noisy location The doors to the rooms do not slam, which is an incredibly valuable feature in a hotel We also noted, that though we were on the ground floor, we did not hear the people above us

Having our own kitchen area, including a full size fridge, was very convenientWe had a reservation at a budget hotel at the North part of the city, but upon seeing the room there, my husband decided we needed to find a better place to sleep This was it!If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely choose this hotel

Jonathon Oldfield

Pretty straight to the point hotel Needed a cheap lovers getaway and a lot of places were already booked up solid, snagged a room for $163 on a friday after taxes and fees (was listed as like $121 or something I don’t remember)Super clean, very sanitary and covid conscious

There were other amenities that we didn’t take advantage of like gym and laundry Queen bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, variable shower head, handicapped bars Had a full kitchen including electric stove top

First let me say, the staff was great Very friendly and accommodating and trying to work with what they have at the front deskThe rooms however

whoa Dirty carpets, stained throughout and the fitness center was a dingy dark room The halls of the hotels had lights flickering, thought it was HalloweenThe cleaning staff never came to switch out dirty towels (front desk helped us) and we had to empty our own trash cans on a 3 day stayThis hotel needs a serious deep cleaning and fixing up

Jeremy Rippel

We recently stayed here and had bed bugs When we told the front desk, nothing was done Left a review on hotels

com and got a email from the manager Manager just said “we do monthly cleanings and have pest control come in, please reconsider us” I absolutely will not reconsider this hotel, and don’t recommend this hotel The only reason why I’m not giving it a 1 star is because the hotel did seem to be recently renovated

I reserved a room with a single king bed over the phone for ~$200 When I arrived at the hotel they not only didn’t have the room I reserved available (they put me in a room with 2 smaller beds), but they charged me ~$300 The room doesn’t even have a microwave

I stayed in a different local hotel the night before for $100 which had a microwave I have stayed at better Motel 6s for $50 I will never stay at this hotel and most likely any Hampton Inn ever again

Sybil Brown

Feelig frustrated that we had power outages on the hottest day of the year, I made a reservation and made my way to Hampton Inn New Albany, OH It was evident that the front desk personnel was slammed with the sudden check-ins, but they were VERY professional

and kind Even those there at checkout were nice Nice hotel, very clean, comfortable I would definitely stay again in that situation, or even for a STAY-CATION!

Amanda Bennett

It was comfortable and the staff was friendlyI was disappointed by the size of the pool and the room wasn’t cleaned behind the dressers I was kinda grossed out when I looked back there

and the fridge froze everythingI just feel like it’s overpriced, but it’s not a bad place to stay

So

Mixed review here The staff has been fantastic; helpful, competent and attentive The public spaces are welcoming and attractive but the furniture isn’t the most comfortable The room is a nice space and the bathroom is super nice The room, however, is entirely covered in laminate flooring Not a fan Regardless of the heat setting the floor stayed cold, it’s slippery when wet and feels pretty industrial While this otherwise is a really nice property, I don’t think I’d stay here again specifically for the flooring

Kimberly Marsh

Good staff Good common spaces Small Indoor pool for exercise

Nice fitness room with rower etc and accommodations are good Little quirky things Nautical theme is kind of weird since its landlocked area with retention pond as only water feature But weirdest thing was the door sensor to roomStopped working Got new room but staff had to break into other room to get our things We waited at least an hour so good thing we did that funeral like we had yesterday, or wedding etc Got a call late at night asking about our $120 bar bill for Raymond No Raymond here and certainly 2 drinks didn’t cost $120 Otherwise the rate is good Lots of outdoor places to sit near the pond and some games too

Rob Keisling

Fantastic location, each & every stay Very clean & well-maintained property in a very nice location Staff are very professional & courteous

Strong attention to detail in a modern facility make for an enjoyable stay Daily housekeeping is a welcome return from the covid hiatus Restaurant is well above-average for hotel in both food and service Sam was great at breakfast Bartenders are very friendly and engaging You will be glad you stay here

Customer Service is lacking Just a tip: maybe try smiling at your guests? That’s kind of CS 101 We chose this hotel because we needed to stay with our cats while we showed our house and they are pet friendly

We left a night early as we scheduled showings earlier in the day on our last night and they didn’t inquire as to why we were leaving early (if we were unhappy with the room etc) Breakfast sucks, but we expected that Our room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable It was fairly quiet, as well

Ranell Prioleau

The hotel is nice however they have bed bugs I am not one to do a review but the way the hotel handled it was unacceptable I woke up to something crawling on my pillow at almost 5am, so I was able to capture it and I proceed to the bathroom with bug in my hand

Get to the bathroom kill it and a lot of blood is on the tissue I get my phone to do a Google search on what kind of big is this and it came back as a bed bug This was new to me because I have never seen one before So I call the front desk to notify them of what just happened He told me to call back around 7am when the manager gets in (He did try to find me another room but they were booked) no problem I just sat in the chair at the desk until later So I proceed to the desk later that morning when the manager arrives and I say “Good morning , I wanted to just report that there are bed bugs in room I am in” he proceeds to tell me “No they are not we check all of our mattresses and flip them over” 🤔😡 So now you are calling me a lair? At this point I was over it because I only came to be courtesy to let you know what I found at your hotel So now you want to say I am a lair that is a problem to me because I have no reason to lie I am a Diamond member and I always stay at Hilton hotels So I proceed to show him the picture of the bug and now he says oh maybe it is a one but we check all of our begs Not once did he apologize for calling me a lair So now I have red welts on my face and arm that itch like crazy So if you stay be safe and careful!

Nykemah Cannon

To start off the room was nice there were just stains on one of the desk and the toilet seat & bathroom door was broken We were expecting to at least sit at the pool but the chlorine was so strong (and if you don’t know that means that the water is extremely dirty) I couldn’t even stand in there for 5 minutes with out my eyes burning and my head starting to hurt But overall our stay was amazing and employees were very welcoming

This should have been a 5 star experience What dropped it is the fire alarm at 12:30 in the middle of the night No apologies or explanation

No idea why the fire department never showed Never even saw hotel staff I enjoyed the room, the location was great and the staff was friendly for the most part Bed was comfortable and we had no issues except for the heavy walking noise from the room above our room Not something the hotel can correct

Thor Odenson

Hotel was filthy, toothpaste on bathroom doors, food on walls and refrigerator doors, floors that haven’t been swept or mopped 5am shuttle to the airport was canceled at 3:50am via a wakeup call announcing that the only shuttle to catch was leaving in 5 minutes Floors and walls are paper thin, sounded like a herd of elephants above me until midnight

I don’t know where to place the blame here I know its hard to find staff these days Its even harder to find people who actually work when they are at work On top of that, peoples idea of “clean” is slowly eroding with time which is evident in nearly every Starbucks I walk into these daysHowever, on the other hand, you’ve got to pay people decent wages and charge realistic rates I don’t want a discount rate if I have to tell my kids that they cant sit on the floor because its so dirty I would take an older, clean and well run hotel any dayIf you cant provide a consistent quality service to customers you need to either book less people or hire better/more workers I mainly book hotels on reviews and cleanliness, I expect the cost to match

Brett Mansdorf

Nicer location, and interior above average – full photos provided of room 402 (fourth floor – even numbers look out the back of the hotel, lower numbers are to the right, higher to the left) Parking OK, and the staff was good My only issue was upon departure – the toilet paper holder was broken (and seen in photo upon arrival) – but the phones were ringing off the hook – and only a single staffer present – waited 10 min – and quickly told her

Fortunately, I took a photo of it upon arrival Bed is good, HVAC – no issues, but not cold outside Will stay again I don’t do makeshift breakfasts and travel with my own coffee – so cannot comment on that portion

Stayed here for work, first time Outstanding property, as I remember a Marriott ( Courtyard) being Very friendly staff, girl in Bistro in the morning was very nice and accomodating

Spotless room, gym is the best I’ve been too Hotel is bright, clean, smells purified as far as air quality Top notch property, can’t say enough good things about it Places to walk to for dining, safe area, as I walked to eat by myself at night

Jan Schmidt

Did not enjoy my experience at this motel No coffee or cream in lobby Cafe area was closed at 6:30 and still at 8

No coffe available for guests Service in room was little to none No coffee cups in room to even make black coffee in the roomOur room was clean Bed was wonderful; but absolutely no frills or welcoming atmosphere Not an attractive location Definitely not up to Marriott’s standards

Bill French

Most staff were friendly The programmable thermostat kept the room at 80 degrees all night and the fan ran all night sounding like a washing machine running The room was clean and the bed comfortable though

The morning breakfast was closed due to a no call no show employee They need a cross trained employee or some form of ack up plan

This hotel saved the day after canceled fromA hotel nearby due to no staffing We arrived at 10:15pm and were greeted by the night staff She was AMAZING

She was kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about or quality of stay something we haven’t seen in upwards of 3 years with this pandemicThe hotel is new so most everything was in tip topShape The king beds were so comfortable, and pull out was just as good (according to my kids!) I truly hope that your employees are paid as highly as I recommend this hotel that woman who took care of us upon our late arrival was great She made us feel right at home We hope that when we return for a future event this hotel is available AND that it is in just as amazing condition!

This is a great property The hotel is new and very modern The bed is very nice and comfortable

The hotel room is very spacious and modern Nicole at the front desk is amazing She took the time to get to know me I would come back to this property and time And you probably need to give Nicole a raise She is going to be instrumental in the success of your hotel They don’t have a free breakfast but I guess no one is perfect

OMG! PROBABLY THE BEST BED in the northern parts of Columbus Aloft is a modern boutique hotel great for stays in the area, and certainly the only place I’ll return to this side of 270 Room was open plan, tiled shower, whole room blackout shades for that sleeping in action… No hot breakfast but your within sniffing distance of a double-double from Tim Horton’s

Highly recommended! And perfect pillows!

They charged me $200for my room when their price is listed at 115$ online The desk staff was very rude and a guest tried even tried to clue her in that she was being rude and she said told him that I didn’t mind I did

I was checking in after a long and arduous journey and she stopped in the middle of that process to care for another guest that came to the counter after I did So yes, I did mind The room was dirty, there was even a dusty M and M under the bed as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while There were stains on the blinds, and I don’t mean permanent stains, these were like some unknown dried up material that could have been cleaned off if any sort of attention to detail had been paid to the issue The blinds don’t close all the way so much light leaks through making it very hard to fall asleep They moved my room but the next room had the same issue of the blind not closing properly over the window with the AC unit The rooms are very noisy and were built with no thought given to the acoustical properties of the construction materials Every door slam in the hallway can be heard in the room all of the activities can be heard in the next room, room across the hall and upstairs Altogether an awful experience and since every conversation can be heard I know for sure there was a couple trying to buy some percocet from some guy they saw in the hallway This place deserves negative stars I travel extensively for work, and stay in many hotels so I know very well this room was not worth the $200they decided to charge when they saw me walk in, exhausted from my travels I hope this review helps others, stay elsewhere

There’s not enough words to describe this AMAZING place! My 1st time in Ohio and I was lucky to get a room here This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed at! The people who work here in every department are the nicest most welcoming people! I felt so at home here it was hard to leave! The food at the restaurant was delicious and overall ambiance is gorgeous! It’s not fair to give a 5 star rating when they deserve 100 more! They don’t disappoint! I have stayed in countless hotels over my years of traveling, and this tops them all! I’ll be back here for sure Thank you to the kind staff for everything

They were welcoming for me to take photos in my cosplay there as well ❤️ I adore it here!!

The food was good but horrible service After 30 minutes of watching our waitress serve other tables and ignore us In the hour and half we were in the restaurant my drink was topped off once and another waitress brought us catsup for my daughter We were never offered a desert menu or given a bill

I finally walked out and found someone at the desk When I explained to the manager he promptly brought the bill and made sure I paid before leaving

Small-town America at its’ finest Situated on the far East end of the main street through Granville, this quiet location is well situated and nicely appointed The hotel is close to a number of restaurants, small shops, and the area is very walkable

The main entrance is covered for arrivals during bad weather and the reception desk is right inside the door We were greeted warmly and found our room ready on arrival We had a corner room with a view out to the main street and towards downtownThe room was clean, had a small closet with robes, and a reasonably large bathroom The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet at night There was a nice side chair and ottoman that was very comfortable for reading The only bummer was that the fireplace was not functionalOur two-night stay was very enjoyable and comfortable with the staff being responsive to our questions and our needs

We stayed here starting in November of 2021 to present day (June 2022 work related long stay) and the staff was friendly But then in early December ’21 my husband was admitted to the hospital and I was left to handle our 3 small children, him in the ICU, Christmas and just everything and everything was falling apart Lucky for us we had the amazing staff here at stay bridge! They went so far above and beyond for my kids and my family

I spent the next 2 months at the hospital with my husband and had family with our kids (Yes he survived and has recovered mostly) The staff here went and bought all my kids Christmas presents as well as Christmas trees and decorations and helped them decorate the room and tree! The made sure my kids got the letter from Santa making sure the kids knew that Santa was aware they weren’t home this Christmas but presents were still coming! I cant tell you how much the staff here saved my life multiple times I would come back 1x daily to shower and leave again and they would make sure I had a towel waiting and food ready so I would remember to eat They were beyond customer service They are the good left in humanity They genuinely care about their customers I can not recommend this place enough Rooms are always clean Staff is, well, extraordinary, incredible, good hearted, attentive, ready to help people Who I will always remember and carry with me in life Link, Ara, Matt, amy all of them deserve the best life has to offer The house cleaning staff is so great too! Whatever you need they are there Great people, very friendly and have no problem helping out All in all the staff I can’t speak more highly of The hotel itself is nice Very clean, tidy, well laid out, free washer and dryers Pool is wonderful Basketball courts are well maintained 200% recommend!

The room had plumbing issues, missing coffee maker, toilet was not fully bolted down and rocked the staff was nice enough, but the place needs a major run through to fix the problems in the rooms this place is no better than 2 stars at best

Reading the other reviews, the management keeps asking for people to return so they can try again, clearly they have made no efforts to fix the problems that others are complaining about Why would anyone come back?

Amber Hackman

I am not happy with my stay The staff who checked us in was fine but the breakfast lady was really rude and almost burned me with a pan of hash browns, she never said excuse me The plates in the room had food on it

Most of the dishes was in the dishwasher and not clean There is mold in the freezer And when housekeeping was cleaning, they kept banging the wall and woke us up paint peeling in bathroom Police are always in the parking lot because it’s not a good area Just listing the facts Holiday Easton is such a better location!-IHG member
