From check in with Leanne and all the wonderful information she gave us I could tell it was a well run Diamond location We were provided hiking locations, wineries, restaurants and even town directions as well as resort amenities and activities The room we reserved was spacious and well appointed and you can clearly see pride in maintenance and managing of this wonderful gem nestled in the hills of Ramona

The surroundings are gorgeous and the peaceful slice of heaven quite attractive for those looking for a quality location that has nice rooms, a gym, activities, pool, racquet and pickle ball courts, video check out and so much more Thanks to the staff at this location for providing a quality experience and also sharing the information and amenities that made a bid difference Also a note that Francisco and the maintenance/cleaning crew are amazing and wonderful peopleHighly recommended

We checked in this afternoonThe studio is such a great place You get your own kitchen (with all you need to cook, pan, plates, wine opener, dishwasher), living room (with fireplace) and bedroom

The bed is super comfortable and the bedroom very cute with its own TVThe bathroom is basicThe pool is heated at 82F and the hot tube perfectly hot We swam and enjoyed the hot tube in the eveningYou can do tennis, basketball 🏀 They have treasure hunts for kidsAnd the beat part the parking is freeSo really this place is awesome when you need a getaway from the world and LA

Mad Habitz

If we would have stayed a whole week or done any of the activities then we would probably give it a five star rating We only stayed for a couple of days and didn’t get to spend much time at the resort As for the room / condo/unit it was large spacious and very well accommodated but not the cleanest

There was dust under the bed and in some other areas which accounts for the docked star But I have recommended to friends and family that this is a great place to stay and very kid friendly as there is lots of activities on their list Honestly I can’t wait to stay here again due to his secluded location from the city and reminds me of home up north

Hotel overall was nice It seemed well-maintained which was a good first sign when checking My room was clean and quiet

Air conditioning worked great Pool was not too crowded and the hot tub was great Parking is $15 to be in the garage or you can park on the surface lot for free It’s a good central location to the freeway and grocery stores and coffee shops you may want to use when traveling I did not use room service or make any room requests, so I can’t rate those experiences Would stay here again if I’m ever in Poway

Raul Martinez

I want to educate people of my recent stay at this facility which was like a motel at a truck stop When I made my reservation I should have been informed the facility was being remodeled The vulgar/foul mouth Construction workers who were working on the facility and staying there were frequenting the bar, flirting with the young female bartender who was enjoying the attention, near the dining area where my wife, and I sat trying to have a meal after a long trip

The atmosphere and hotel was unacceptable There was debris, and dust throughout the hallways Hallways and our room smelled of freshly painted doors and rooms which could be affected someone with respiratory issues The only available elevator had nasty and dusty padding blankets hanging within it possibly to protect the interior The hallways had debris and trash in it Our room was not cleaned nor any fresh towels given to us, until I called to ask for some, which came about an hour later I voiced my concerns, and a representative offered me some type of bonus points No thanks I am never staying at a Hilton in the future especially there

Claudia C

We went for a one night stay Saturday through Sunday The room was clean and had a microwave, mini fridge, keureg and hair dryerFor $200/night we got a 3rd story room facing the dumpster because they are remodeling

Less than thrilled with that Also, the restaurant and room service are closed during the remodeling In addition the only elevator you can use is covered in construction blankets that hold all the dirt being ejected during the remodel Not great for anyone with asthma or other respiratory issuesParking is NOT included in your room price It’s an additional $15/night to park your carOverall it seemed to be Hilton prices with a Motel 6 experience

The best is the best at this best western! They are so welcoming, the rooms are so clean, they accommodate every small detail The breakfast is good They pay close attention to all we need

They are truly so kind, and care about their customers I will definitely come back and will refer all my friends and family When we ask for something it’s at our door within 2 mins Thank you for all you have done for us during our stay!

First, the staff is always nice and helpful

but, I’ve stayed here several times over the past 4 years and I feel it’s in decline Just general upkeep and cleanliness is not what I remember it being This last stay, I was on my bed watching TV and a guy walks in carrying a pizza He apparently was given the room I already occupied How does that happen?

Adele Rose

I was really disappointed this time, it’s really changed & not as pleasant anymore unfortunately Way too expensive for the mediocre service Coffee maker was broken, no lamps in our room, we were awakened at 7am by someone calling the phone in our room numerous times and actually harassing & playing games!!! Accidently left our pillow in the room & never got it back

No where to be found Will not be returning ever again!! It use to be such a nice place before they hired a staff that could care less about their jobs!! Lenny was the only pleasant receptionist, she was kind & helpful The rest kept charging me different fee’s and over charged me twice of $21338 for one night only when we decided to stay an additional night We’re still trying to retrieve our money!! Unacceptable!!

Space 92, you are a cruel mistress to find! Ugh Anyway, the neighbors are friendly as all getup, and the grounds are well kept and clean If you need a jump, don’t ask me because I just fried my cables but someone around here is sure to be able to Macguyver that mofo for you in a jiffy

If not, forget the battery and stroll amidst the fresh air and country ambiance Definitely do not attempt to cross the road with any traffic coming, you will end up like a flapjack in a steam press! Plenty of recreation, and friendly front office staff to monitor and receive all your Amazon packages

Christopher Roberts

Cool little spot not to far of a drive for most in San Diego The pond was a great spot for all the kids to go fishing Nightcrawlers seemed to be the best bait, my three kids caught about 100 fish between them over two days (maybe the same ones a few times)

Nothing huge, just the right size to get them excited They also loved hunting for bull frogs at night And of course everything we fished or caught was quickly released for others to enjoy Staff was super nice and friendly, bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest I’ve seen at a campsite in a whileThe only drawback is that yes it is right along the 78 (tent sites are about 100 feet from the road) And one night some a-holes thought it’d be funny to lay on their horns while driving by at 3 in the morning But, after the first night you get used to it Just a heads up if you are looking for 100% peace and quiet, you’ll have to venture somewhere elseBut overall our family had a great time here, and would definitely go again

Front desk reps remain behind a door in a back office, inattentive and passive customer service, takes minutes to recall Hairs found in bed, shower, sink and ‘fresh towels’ Dust clings to light fixtures in the lobby and hallways

Complimentary breakfast, recommend the cereal Overpriced, under staffed, overall leaves everything to be desired Recommend elsewhere

Honestly it’s exactly as expected If you’re expecting a 5 star hotel you’ll be disappointed I’m moving across the country with my 2 pets and I’m staying here for a few days

The room is clean and nice the staff is nice and I’ve had no issues They allow pets with an extra fee (expected) and my cats like the room I’d stay here again Also the restaurant next door is good

Keith Kubik

Room was terrible Sheets had a “circle” ring stain… holes in the wall… Looked like someone took a hammer to the bathroom door…

Actual gang graffiti painted on the wall inside the room… Woodwork scared or missing, walls half painted… Also every night, even to midnight… people were loitering about… Sitting on the curb,… standing outside hanging out… for no particular reason that I could see… Also, of the four nights we pre-paid for, only once was the room cleaned or bed made… but we did came back one night and the TV was on… But nothing cleaned… no new towels unless we went to the front window and asked… We took our luggage with us everyday because it seemed risky to leave it in the room Rating was 37 stars… Not sure how that happened…

Jaquelin Oj

Room was falling apart it was so disgustingit smelled so much like cigarettes when I booked no smokingSheets were stained && rippedThis by far has been my worst experience here in CaliforniaI feel lied to and robbed!!I booked 2 Rooms for 250$++ eachSince I can’t cancel my booking they will just steal my money!!They are renovating and have garbage everywhere outside !! They went all out to create a beautiful hotel and casino that would not only satisfy locals but those with above average taste The design of the buildings are very elegant and the property layout is well planned Service was of a very high standard

The moment you turn into the property, you are greeted by a guard waving and welcoming you, Valet is available or feel free to find your own parking spot There are plenty of spaces due to the size of the property A walk through the hotel on the second floor takes you to the casino entrance Everything was very clean and the casino is non smoking Plenty of beverage carts to serve you as well I wasn’t so lucky today so I did lose some money but I had fun trying to win

Justin M

Stayed three nights here and loved it! The resort has beautiful grounds, including a couple nice large ponds to sit by and watch the wildlife, a large walk-through rose garden, old farm equipment, and moreOur room was on the first floor and had a nice patio We could walk right from our room in the morning and drink coffee by the pond with the ducks

The employees were all very nice and accommodating The room was large and cleanLots of restaurant and food optionsWe did lose everything we brought for gambling, but the casino is huge and has lots of slotsWe will definitely be back!

Renae Flack

We always enjoy going to Barona and have been treated like family there for years The staff is wonderful The hotel is really nice

The food is very good, especially excellent in the steakhouse We love the Indian frybread in the cafe! We especially appreciate that they are staying smoke free in the casino It makes the time playing in the casino so much more pleasant It’s our “go to” place in the San Diego area

The camp ground is super clean, really nice amenities The bathrooms are well kept up Not your average campground

We were lucky to be here for the summer kick off BBQ it was really nice and I was very pleased with all the food options and presentation of the bbq Our family really enjoyed it The staff is so nice and friendly We felt like we were at family out

Ami Sheneman

The spaces were VERY small which made it extremely difficult to back in, also the electric box in back of the site had been hit so it bent in to the already short space I noted the length of our rig when I reserved the spot, it was for 24 ft or less, we are only 20 ft!! The bathrooms weren’t too bad, the only good thing about this place was the pool and hot tub which were supposed to be open until 10:00 pm The security guy came and told us he was locking up early (9 pm) and told us we had to get out

He then proceeded to walk to his car to go home 🙄 Would not recommend unless in a pinch

Joshua Hawkins (Joshy)

All in all I loved this park and it’s employees They were extremely accommodating considering covid-19 and what not We were having money coming in ,but at weird times and amounts

They were empathetic and we had no issues Jim Nicolette on the other hand should never have been made into a manager or around any type of customers or customer service unless it was for like a cement company don’t know but definitely not the regional manager of these resorts That’s not only because of covid-19 but just because of all the crazy stuff going on in the world right now and this guy does not care about you one single bit You are just a dollar sign to him and nothing more We got behind but everything was fine it had happened before but we always got caught up I should have just put my foot down instead since we already had a verbal agreement with another manager He had no business dealing with the situation It’s about the parks bottom line and nothing else Awesome park and people however if you do stay I hope you don’t have to cross this jerks path

This is a very elegant yet tired and dated facility The rooms are spacious yet the finishes need immediate updating The staff were friendly and helpful

Unfortunately they might have been misinformed about renovations We were told that we will be at the newly renovated garden rooms, but nothing looked renovated except maybe a new wall socket with usb outletThe patio overlooking the fairway green is beautiful The drinks were good We also attended a wedding and that was in a beautiful setting

Alice Ettinger

This is a beautiful setting with magnificent gardens, golf course, and pools The rooms are spacious, but are in need of updating Air conditioning is in desperate need of replacement

According to staff, renovations will begin in May Maid service left much to be desired, although when they finally arrived, they did a nice jobThe desk and bell service were more than accommodating and most pleasant and always cheerful

Lou Webb

As a “local” we would visit once or twice a month to enjoy happy hour on the patio Decent menu and discount, fantastic location and views The staff was also first rate

Then out of nowhere, some brain surgeon, decided that happy hour was only allowed inside The thought that it would be better to have a patio full of empty tables instead of a 3/4 full is some next level math Guess we won’t be visiting for a while

I have never been up here although I am a San Diego native Went up with a group of friends and really enjoyed ourselves! The rooms were really really nice, and the pool was calm on the adults only side of the willows resortAll the bartenders in the casino were extremely friendly and we also ate at The upscale restaurant inside

I’ll review that separately Will definitely go back!

Sam Barboo

We have been several times for day visits and also stayed overnight in the hotel once All Casino staff have been pleasant and friendly Hotel staff were likewise professional and courteous

The lines/wait times for the restaurants are a bit long but the food and service are fine Of the casinos in southern San Diego I enjoy it the most The outlet mall is, however, underwhelming as far as outlets go All in all, if you are looking to have a fun time handing your money over to a casino (because, let’s be honest, almost everyone loses more than they ever win), then this is a recommended place to do exactly that with a smile

Alondra Gonzalez

Oh my goodness! I stayed three nights here & I had the most amazing stay! I had lost my Louis Vuitton bracelet on Saturday and found out when I got home Sunday I called and filled out a form on their website and they found it the next day & was able to pick up with no problem (also has shipping arrangements) The hospitality was amazing and the food was so good! The pool was refreshing

I highly recommend staying here

There are some very beautiful views from many if not most of the spots We originally booked site 14 but all the hookups were on the wrong side and the layout just didn’t make sense to us so we switched to site 23 The general area with the fire pit, picnic table and area to hang out is a little ways down and away from where the hook ups are which wasn’t a big deal but different than we are used to

On our second day there, we started seeing random ants in our camper and by the third day, we had full on trails of ants all over, by all 3 of our beds, in the bathroom, the kitchen I mean they were EVERYWHERE! We’ve never had this problem in all the times we’ve gone out before

Patricia Messer-Perry

The Rangers are kind and helpful🤠👍😎Many awesome camp sites!!! Not to many for large Class A or C RV’s They have beautiful sites for tent camping or parking with a small rv!! However some sites parking is not flat at all

I have a self contained Van and enjoyed sp#39 & 27 both perfectly flat and tree shaded I enjoyed nice flat site #29 right across from a bathroom, but it was all day sun I have to give a shout out to their awesome CAMPHOST Tiffany(sp#1) She made site suggestions and nailed them!! She gave me her phone# (just in case) and checked on me!! I would let her know when I was in camp etc😎👍 I had a lake view site #29 out my back doors😍 It is quite the haul up the steep road to get to Dixon Lake (no swimming or outside boats) fishing and renting their boats AMAZING grassy day use spots with covered table areas, bbq pits and playgrounds The camp ground is hilly, but that makes the tuck away tent sites perfect There is a concession stand (nice) It is where you check in for camping, the staff are really nice!! Shout out to Kate for being kind and going the extra mile to change my site💖 I will definately return!!

Nice quiet Resort Resort Our two bed apartment was well equipped very clean and quite large

We also had an electric BBQ on the patio Two very large bedrooms with a family bathroom and one en-suite A short drive to San Diego but a great place for exploring This resort does stand out even though there may not be the same level of facilities that larger resorts have The staff are pleasant friendly and very helpful

Saharrah Santiago

I am here with my family trying to enjoy the holiday with my children My suite is infested with ants I have reported this issue 3xs

I recorded a video, because it’s like 20, 30 ants There was hair in the tub and on the toilet seat I took pics The front desk staff is rude and dismissive to me They have not offered to change my suite, and I’m very disappointed in my stay here 😔Update: The manager, Chris, is unbelievable He told me to put Windex on the ants, and left a bottle of Windex outside of my suite The front desk agents, DJ and Sienna, were very unprofessional towards me when I checked in I contacted the agent that booked this suite for me (who has incredible customer service skills) they tried to resolve the issue with this room We are still waiting to change rooms It has been over 4 hours DJ told me that the AC is out in the other suite that they were going to change my family and I into I am pregnant and high risk and this is highly unacceptable Everyone does not receive the same level of customer service here

As far as weddings go; Joyce, Mary Lou, & the San Vicente Golf Resort staff were incredible! Their hard-work, generosity, patience, & kindness gave us the most perfect wedding we could imagine! Everything was so easy, beautiful and stress-free! Not only is the venue gorgeous and affordable, it includes the ceremony, reception, delicious food, & the sweetest/most helpful coordinators (Joyce & Mary Lou)! Us & our guest had a wonderful time and we cannot speak highly enough about everyone who helped made that happen

DiamondBrewReviews

Can’t give a fair review because apparently these fairways are Bermuda grass And allegedly Bermuda grass is “dormant” in the winter months which basically means it’s dead So the pictures show green beautiful fairways and when we arrived it was hard brown grass

If what they say is accurate the summer months would be great for this course Bunkers and greens recently renovated Greens are very challenging Good service (didn’t see a cart girl though) Would try again in the summer to see if this would become a 5 star course But for February it is not

grace storm

Our prior plans fell through and we ended up here! It was nothing but amazing for me and the four other ladies I was with The rooms were fantastic, the two places we ate/drank was very reasonable and very delicious! The front desk staff was so gracious and heated up all of our leftovers for us We will definitely be visiting this place again

Thank you so much!!!!!

Also, they came within an hour to fix one issue When I mentioned them at checkout they compensated us with free parking, plus $50 off our rate Location was wonderful to Poway and San Diego downtown The bed was very comfy All my special requests were accepted and completed for us Thank you to all the staff

Fernando at the front desk is a “five star man” as Dennis Reynolds would say The Courtyard is what it is, a standard 3 star hotel, it needs some love here and and there and is a place to sleep with the essentials but far from luxurious It’s fine

We were sent here by another hotel that overbooked us and there was a lot of drama that went into that so I won’t hold them accountable for any of that But because of that I arrived at 1am with lots of road weariness, frustration and zero patience I tried to not take it out on the staff but I still probably wasn’t the most pleasant person to deal with in the middle of the night But Fernando was more than understanding, maintained a positive attitude and took care of us I really appreciate all his support and because of him I’d give the whole experience 5 stars Marriott, give this man a raise

Unique, you get a sense they are doing their best however some staff seem totally oblivious Some of the staff are also exceptionalOne thing is clear the rooms need serious updating especially the toilets and bathrooms are not where they should be

Otherwise if you must go, do pay close attention then leave

Nice quiet, shady RV park Some spots looked challenging to back into but there are some pull thru’s Leveling blocks will come in handy

Park has lots of elevation changes Some of the tent spots looked great Pool is nice Fishing pond Dump station is very challenging to get lined up to I recommend you take them up on the pump out service

Ended up coming here to getaway with my kids and meet up with some friendsResort park – Small little resort to come to but does the job for a getaway They do have a small pond for people to chill and relax and experience fishing, a tiny play area for kids, pool that’s not heated, and area to play horseshoes

Restroom – Could use remodeling but kept up and functionalRv and Camping Spots – Smaller spots than most parks but manageable I ended up camping and it was great to be near the lake and playground But it did suck cause most of the kids used my bench and hung out in my spot They should consider blocking those areas or putting up signs Lots of these sites also don’t include dumps, so you gotta pay everytime you want to empty out tanksStaff – People that work here are nice but very strict on following rules You do something and they will call you right awayOverall it’s a chill place but wouldn’t come backPrices – It was a holiday so prices seemed ok
