Rooms were extremely spacious and clean The bed was stupidly soft and comfortable We got the junior suite and it comfortably slept two adults and two kids

The window in the living room was one entire wall top to bottom The same in the bedroom The bar tenders were so sweet and very friendly at the bar downstairs Staff was nice as well the the indoor pool, which was a very nice size as well as the hot tub

Vanessa Stringer

Loved every minute of our stay Great staff, especially at the bar 😆 Everyone was so friendly and accommodating We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was clean and quiet

Pet friendly (although we didn’t take ours), close to shopping/entertainment/restaurants Indoor pool amd jacuzzi were clean and perfect since it started raining! We’ll definitely be staying here again A+++

Melissa Mick

Very nice hotel The lobby is clean, and the front desk staff are very polite My kids love the pool here

The hot tub is nice for relaxing Another plus is the work out room! State of the art machines and very clean Starbucks in the lobby was VERY convenient! We had a very nice stay here, but the only downside is that due to covid they are severely understaffed, and you can no longer get your room cleaned or re-freshed daily When you pay $200 a night for a room, you kind of think having fresh towels and your bed made come with the package No, it does not I travel with kids, and we go through towels and need our trash taken out daily The trash was piled up down by the elevator in the morning It is a very clean hotel otherwise, and the staff is friendly, so I give a 3 star

My family of 4 stayed at this location from November 2021 to April 2022 while we searched for a home in this crazy market after moving to Texas We stayed in the 2bedroom suite w/two Queen beds in second room for our two kids PERFECT! The beds were very comfortable, but i wish they had pillows that didnt sink

However no problem for we brought our own Kitchenette was very well stocked with all you need (of course a pair of scissors would have come in handy) This hotel was definitely a home away from home We always felt safe, comfortable and we were all a little sad to leave Front Desk staff was always so friendly and helpful especially James! The housekeeping staff was absolutely amazing The lobby and our rooms always looked and felt clean after their visit My kids loved the complimentary breakfast We highly recommend staying at this hotel Even though we live here now we will definitely be back for a date night away from the kids!

I’m giving 2 because some workers are nice But the rest of the hotel is not desirable for any business traveler/long term stay In most cases, the front desk people are helpful but one man didn’t understand what concierge is, and he doesn’t really try to do anything but shrug lol The hotel is very outdated and almost no soundproof

Overall, my coworkers and I decided to go to Hilton or other Marriott properties

Sed Bezzy

I came to book a room on the night of 02/08 to the morning of 02/09 The night audit working was very rude I came in rang the door bell which he completely ignored, as well as called the front desk while I stood there and watched him not answer the phone

I am a current platinum elite member and I can’t believe this type of treatment especially in this area Maybe would try another Marriott in the area with better customer service

Francisco Mendoza

Property is older but clean Easy to park, access room The rooms were fine, not fancy but comfortable

Every room has a balcony which we loved However the love seat in the room was covered in stains down the side Pool was good, shallow and clean The staff was friendly and professional, the young lady that checked us in was one of the most welcoming person I have ever met Coffee in room, and Starbucks in lobby but limited hours Great location to main street Richardson and hwy 75 also close to the DART Would stay again

Not really a 4-star hotel More like a 3-star hotel with a pretty lobby/bar area Parking should have been covered or valeted for $14/day, but is just a self-park lot around the building

Firm mattress and weak air conditioning In-room TV was large but didn’t work very well The TV guide didn’t function and all the channels were labeled incorrectly It also had a hard time turning off Some noise from the DART train Toilet paper was thinner than my dreams of being a pro athlete Elevators are pretty run down too Good deal for the $60 per night special rate we found, but mediocre for the $74 w/parking + tax and fees Good location for our trip that had drives to Plano, Dallas and Addison, but probably wouldn’t book again Most staff and guests didn’t wear masks

After being on the road for 7 hours straight, found out my children which are in Mexico were not able to board their flight With that said I had to spend the weekend in Dallas, TX I was tired and was scared to not find a clean and reasonable hotel

I stopped at one of the Hilton locations and called the reservation line from out in the parking lot The young man that answered the phone was so helpful, kind, and pleasant to speak to He demonstrated empathy towards my situation He was able to work with my budget and helped me with a reservation at the Hilton Richardson location were I was able to get a room for the weekend at the budget I had in mindIf I could rate my stay at the Hilton Richardson location any higher I would definitely do so I knew from the moment I walked in my money was well spent When entering their facility you can definitely see it is clean, pleasant and their employees are just amazingThis facility had a computer available for me to be able to work on my college classes, and the lady upfront was able to assist me in extending my check out at 1pm (instead of 11AM) with no additional fee since my kids will be flying into Dallas Airport late evening She also informed me that I am able to stay in the lobby for however long I need to after I check out Which is really helpful since I would have to find where to kill time since the weather does not permit to be in my vehicle for long period of timesMy experience has been overall satisfactory, and know for sure moving forward, Hilton will be my place to stay at

Stephanie Teague

Staff was nice but overall this hotel is poorly run Rooms weren’t ready at 3:00 check-in because they were still being cleaned Many of the rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke, AC inside the rooms was broken all weekend and elevator wait times were way too long

The AC worked in common areas of the hotel and aside from cigarette smell in many of the rooms the rest of the hotel appeared well maintained and fairly clean While I won’t be returning to this hotel, most of these issues can be easily fixed so hopefully hotel management will step up to ensure future guests have a much better experience than we did

Awful experience Went through hell to get the room on the hotels part not having it in their system Had to get Priceline to call

100 dollar pet deposit was no where on booking confirmation anywhere at all And then the old man that booked me in charged it a 113 dollars Never again will I stay here Horrible experience for a 228 dollar night

E P

I checked into my room on 3/17 for a 7 night stay and it was very disappointing to have to move several times before finally getting in a clean room First room had a foul odor, weird stains on the sofa and a dirty towel in the shower Second room appeared to be ok until the next morning after getting breakfast and bringing it back to my room, less than 10 minutes ants were all over my good and in the bathroom

I called the front desk and spoke with Jose about my issue with ants and he was very nice; however the general manager appeared to not really care and tried to say having ants was common who wants unwanted guest in their hotel room I finally moved to my third room and it was ok for the rest of my stay

My stay was amazing!! First of all every staff member was so friendly and helpful The hotel in general is very nice and clean The free breakfast and dinner plus 3 adult beverages was the best! Also we had access to fountain drinks 24 hours in the lobby

The hotel bar and kitchen was very nice and drinks and food anywhere we went in the hotel was so good! My room was so big and so nice much bigger than a typical 2 queen bedroom in a hotel Pool area was very nice and actually had plenty of towels to use unlike most hotels I highly recommend this hotel Very family friendly!!! I will always be looking to stay at this hotel chain from this point on I absolutely cannot say enough great things about this hotel!

Fantastic hotel in Dallas! I stayed here for work and it was perfect Service was great, people are very nice and accommodating, room was large with good amenities, and the whole place was pretty clean They serve breakfast and also unlimited soft drinks and coffee/teas all day

I went down to get a hot tea every night Did eat at the Kitchen twice during my stay and enjoyed it Had the Bavarian pretzels, a turkey club, and even the berry dessert All were tasty! And the parking garage is free! Would definitely stay here again and look forward to when I can!

Patrice Russell-Simpson

Very good hotel apartment style with kitchen and homely rooms The only issue is cleaning & room services are not so easy to schedule and the facilities are a bit aging Some things in the room like bathroom shower, taps etc are wearing out and may not work properly

On the bright side, Internet was stable and fast enough for my office work to run smoothly 👍Overall great bargain for the price

Kanoi Ruiz

My family and I loved it here! Our room was sleek but also homey because of the living room and full kitchen Our room and public amenity areas were very clean The breakfast spread is pretty great too, there’s something for everyone

Last but not least the housekeeping crew and front desk staff were amazing They all had such friendly and fabulous personalities yet super professional I can’t say anything bad here We will miss itShout out to the staff; thank you for making our stay so comfortable and I loved talking to yall

Kristen Credeur

We stayed at Hyatt House in Richardson Texas for a cheerleading competition The hotel staff was super friendly I just wish it would reflect the hotel itself

The halls smelt horrible The rooms had no wash cloths When asked they said they had none due to people hoarding them That’s strange Then when we needed more towels on the 3rd night they had to check if we could have any because the housing staff was gone for the day This was at 7:00 PM They did end up finding someOur friends that were staying at the hotel went to the snack area and purchased some chips and they had expired the month prior I wish we would have had a better experience

The hotel was great and so was the staff The only two things that I didn’t like was the breakfast (I regularly stay at Best Western chain of hotels and they serve much better breakfast) and the location (nothing much can be done about it but there are no food joints in nearby areas) Their selection of body wash, shampoo and conditioner is one of the best that I have seen in budget hotels

Cynthia Hepworth

Our flight was canceled and we had to rebook our trip for the next week The staff was great about rebooking our reservation for the following week Thank you! We arrived late, but check-in was easy

The hotel is right off the freeway, but we didn’t notice noise from our room We were visiting the UT Dallas campus and this hotel couldn’t be more convenient for that purpose The room set up is nice, but I didn’t like the glowing door when the bathroom light was on Breakfast was good We only stayed for 1 night, so I can’t speak to the variety of offerings

Barbara Sestak

Bed was really, really soft The beds were low to floor If you have a injury, bed is hard to get out of

The shower is located in the bathtub Everything very clean Had a wonderful breakfast, came with staying there at no charge Parking fills up fast, FAST! Important to make reservations Employees go out of their way to help Outdoor pool, inside gym and small refrigerator in room

Update: We went to stay again and we’re told that cats are no longer welcome Interesting, considering I heard dogs barking all the time, but they’re still allowed It can’t be about smell, the hallways are always filled with the smell of curry and other heavily spiced foods being cooked

It should be noted that this is apparently a hotel the government uses to house people waiting for their immigration paperwork to be done, as has been talked about in the news For some reason, there was a giant pile of clothes sitting near the pool hundreds of articles of clothing A charity drop-off?A nice place to go if you have children or pets The furniture was very comfortable and the room was spacious There’s a number of families using it as extended stay, so there’s lots of kids playing and riding their bicycles To me, that feels more like home than a lot of hotels, but I know it wouldn’t be for everyone They have nice amenities my only complaint is that no one was wearing a mask even though there were signs everywhere If you’re a smoker, there’s plenty of places to smoke outside without going far We will definitely stay there again it just felt more like home than many of the extended stay hotels around there

Denise Stevens

DJ helped us get 12 rooms for a baseball travel team He was great He was very courteous and dealt with 12 families and kids

I would recommend this place to anyone The pool is great The rooms are waaay better than any hotel The location is close to so much food Everything about our 5 day stay has been great DJ really was the icing in the cake He was so accommodating and dealt with all of our families with respect

Average Joe

We stayed in building A The room was nice, but the overwhelming cooking odors in the hallways and stairwells ruined the experience There were a bunch of kids running between open doors from rooms on the first floor

(This may be where the cooking odors emanated) We were also made to feel unwelcome by small groups of men and children hanging out on the patio and parking lot beside the pool and sports court so guests couldn’t use the amenities

Alex, the bartender was absolutely amazing and just added to the experienceCouple things to keep in mind, before booking the showers are definitely nice but they do not have bathtubs And there is not a hot tubBut would Definitely love to stay here again regardless

My family and I stayed in this hotel while we transitioned into moving into our new apartment Though our stay was way longer than expected, we enjoyed every night Corey was the first person we met, and the first person we were enthusiastic to see when we came running out of the lobby to go to work

His customer service skills, personality and joy brightened our days with every single encounter The rooms were clean, the rest of the staff were great and this is, overall, a great location and experience There are even a handful of restaurants across the street and a Walmart not even 5 minutes away

Christopher Santos

30+ Day stay Seamless Roberta and Anela were outstanding and always friendly and helpful

The room was weekly cleaned and immaculate Daily breakfast was delicious and always a little different We miss the Texas shaped waffles nowIf ever we have to do this again We will not hesitate to stay there again Do yourself a favor and don’t even wasting time at the adjacent hotels next to it

Michelle Gordon

My in-laws were visiting and we went to visit them at this hotel I walked in to a clear and fresh entry and and Corey greeted me with a warm welcome He knew the guest I was there to see, made a connection with my entire family and talked to me the whole time I wanted for them to come down

Based off of this experience and the warmth Corey brought alone, I will be recommending this location

My church had an an event here and right from the time of the booking, they were attentive to our needs to ensure that our program was successful I do really appreciate the hotel staff especially Ms Linda and Mr Tommy Mr Tommy and his team were exceptionally helpful in getting the hall set up for us and providing all the extra stuff we needed

The rooms were clean and comfortable Thank you all…surely gonna be back!

Abril Goforth

One of the glasses in our room was not clean Like, no attempt had been made to clean it The light on the bathroom mirror will not light, so the bathroom is very dark

The rest of the room has poor lighting, as is true for most hotels Makes applying makeup a challenge But the rest of the room appears to be clean The bed is comfortable The location is easy to access from the highway and was good for our needs

Kalvin K

Room was nice and big You have to actually request maid service if you want one It was not automatic

Perhaps it’s a COVID thing nowadays It actually has a microwave but I didn’t see until the last day because it was black and pushed far back into the cabinet I needed one and called front desk but didn’t tell me there was actually one in the room, instead said to use the one down in the lobby Overall, a good hotel to stay at

This hotel was very clean & nice staff I checked in very early upon arrival The room was clean

It had a microwave and fridge As well as a coffee pot Only complaint is the water in the shower stayed Cool, It never was hot for my 4 day stay Which sucks because I love multiple showers a day an I love relaxing in a tub!! There is plenty of restaurants and Starbucks around There’s also a convenient store where you can buy snacks and food and drinks There’s a smoke shop for the smokers There’s a Cvs right around the corner actually is walking distance The bed was very comfortable It had a door to close for privacy from the living area The sofa was extremely comfortable The view was phenomenal I really enjoyed the openness of the hotel You can literally see all the floors and rooms from the inside There were 2 TVs one in the living/sitting area the other was in the bedroom The customer service was awesome The bartender was very friendly and the drinks were very affordable I would definitely recommend others staying here Most definitely is a 4 star hotel Would recommend definitely & will be returning Btw parking was free which I enjoyed the most Security deposit was $100 total stay…

Elizabeth Heaster

We love staying here due to the convenient location & large rooms! All of the rooms have the bedroom seperate from the living room which is really a HUGE plus when traveling with kids! The rooms are also veryyyy spacious which we love The breakfast is very good They have an hot tub (outdoor) & an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, that’s not heated

I do wish they had another hot tub inside & I also wish the hot tub & pool were open later, it would be greatly appreciated Also, do not be hesitant to stay here due to the name change I honestly have experienced much better customer service here since the name change!

Tamie Allen

Seems it was once a really nice Hotel The furniture is dated in the suites and housekeeping could be better Had an old musty smell upon entering the rooms

Windows had a thick white film over them, changed rooms because you couldn’t even see out of if Entrance to the Hotel was lovely with water fall and I really liked the glass, see through elevator The front desk staff was friendly and helpful

WARNING UNSAFE PARKING LOT: There are people stealing catalytic converters from vehicles parked at this hotelWe were victims this morning Totally ruined our plans and day

We filed a police report Parts are at least 5-6 weeks back ordered We had to rent a car to get home We will need to return when vehicle is fixed We WON’T be using this hotel againAs for the hotel itself, beside the UNSAFE PARKING LOTNice and new Modern feel Very spacious suitesLove they are pet friendly, but high fee Complimentary breakfast is better than Holiday Inn, IMORoom had trouble keeping temperature, but that’s not uncommon for many hotels Beds were a bit too soft for me And of course your typical horrible hotel pillows They really aren’t pillows if they have absolutely no support

I was a little nervous because of the person who was a victim of catalytic converter theft However, I took the chance The workers were very polite

The room was very spacious(2 queen bed suite with kitchen) Housekeeping was very prompt I wish breakfast was open til at least 10 during weekday, but hey🤷🏾‍♀️ The location was very convenient Lots of nearby stores, including Walmart Quiet area No complaints

This review is long overdue from our stay in January and I’ve forgotten the names of the staff who served us during our stay They were amazing and very friendly and catered to our needs We decided to have a small B-day sleepover here for my son’s 10th birthday since Covid cases had spiked a tad bit

Our stay was everything that I had hoped it would be for my son and he and my nephews had an amazing time We were able to reserve a 1-hr time slot for the pool just for ourselves After swimming, the staff provided the boys with a basketball to play at the courtyard The room was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed! We got a chance to enjoy the complimentary breakfast the next morning and it was great Thanks so much!!

Looks can be deceiving On the exterior, this appears to be a nice and well kept hotel Once we got to our room however, I discovered that wasn’t really the case

There were shower caps over the smoke detectors, indicating to me someone had smoked in the room, as well as the very obvious smell of cigarettes Not necessarily the hotels fault but the shower caps are a safety issue I discovered what appeared to be ground up food in the carpet next to the bed, the door handle to the bathroom was filthy, not real sure what that was But the best part, was when I turned down the bed There in the comforter were spots of BLOOD It was pretty obvious to me that housekeeping in this particular hotel was not doing their job AND to top it all off, the hot water did not work At all We were unable to take a shower while there Once again, not really something the hotel could have necessarily prevented, but we were not offered a solution or compensation in any way This is the second Residence Inn I’ve stayed in, and it will be the last

Had to walk about 200 yards, down a set of stairs and into a separate building to got to my room Room felt damp and you could smell cigarette scent in the room The “comforter” was just as thin as the top sheet so couldn’t get comfortable and stay warm

Pillows are cheap and one was still wrapped in plastic Room phone didn’t work to call front desk (tried two different jacks) The exit door right next to my room said “Out of order”…which I think is probably illegal I tried to exit through the gate at the rear to catch my Uber because I have 7 bags of film gear and didn’t want to push it 200 yards, back up the stairs to leave but was told “we just have that gate locked permanently” Whole hotel feels like they tried to update some paint and maybe carpet but overall feels very tired, dingy and poorly maintained

Disappointing I’ve stayed with this hotelfor many years and the cleanliness has really fallen off The staff is always friendly, but a newly required $250 deposite for every room made me rethink the five rooms I needed for a college graduation

Sorry team, Springhill is getting it done right now

Stayed there last month and from the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, it was a great stay The staff, Desk and Housekeeping, were incredibly friendly and professional The only thing we were too big of a fan of was the breakfast

The eggs and sausage was terrible but the nice selection of cold cuts more than made up for that The pool and hot tub were amazing I have a super sensitive nose and eyes and the fact that the windows were cracked open, made for a very enjoyable time in the hot tub and pool They were clean and the area was well maintained We will definitely make this Hotel our place to stay every time we come to the area

We arrived early (a little after 1:00) and we’re told that our room wasn’t ready yet And check in time was at 3:00 They were told that we would be arriving about 1 or 2

Other hotels had our room ready or had another one we could switch to The room however was very nice and clean, comfortable, and not near the elevator added bonus Bathroom door lock didn’t work Breakfast was one of the best for hotels we’ve stayed in Checkout was easy Allover good experience
